Refund & Cancellation Policy

Important: Coachful Is a Platform

Coachful provides the technology platform that coaches and coaching organizations use to deliver their services. When you purchase a coaching program, subscription, or service through Coachful, you are entering into a transaction with the individual coach or organization — not with Coachful directly. Refund policies for coaching services are determined by each coach or organization.

1. Coaching Services (Purchased from Coaches)

Payments for coaching programs, sessions, and subscriptions are processed directly between you and the coaching organization via Stripe. As a platform provider, Coachful does not control and is not responsible for the refund policies of individual coaches or organizations.

  • Refund requests: Must be directed to the coach or organization from which you purchased the service
  • Coach policies: Each coaching organization sets its own refund and cancellation terms, which may be communicated at the time of purchase or in their own terms of service
  • Disputes: If you are unable to resolve a refund issue with a coach, you may contact us at hello@coachful.co and we will make reasonable efforts to facilitate a resolution

Coachful is not a party to the transaction between coaches and their clients and has no obligation to issue refunds for coaching services.

2. Coachful Platform Subscriptions (For Coaches)

If you are a coach subscribed to Coachful's platform services, the following applies:

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your platform subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Effective date: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then
  • No partial refunds: We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time within a billing period
  • Billing errors: If you believe you were charged in error (duplicate charge, incorrect amount), contact us within 30 days and we will investigate and correct any verified billing mistakes

3. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Key details:

  • Coaching service payments are processed via Stripe Connect, going directly to the coach's connected Stripe account
  • Coachful does not store your complete credit card information
  • Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear

4. Account Termination

If we terminate your account for violation of our Terms of Service, you will not be eligible for any refund of platform subscription fees. Refund eligibility for coaching services remains subject to the individual coach's policies.

5. For Coaches: Your Refund Obligations

If you are a coach using Coachful, you are responsible for:

  • Establishing and communicating clear refund and cancellation policies to your clients
  • Processing refunds for your clients through your Stripe dashboard or by contacting Coachful support
  • Complying with applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction
  • Handling any payment disputes or chargebacks related to your coaching services
