Best Software for Wellness Coaches in 2026: 7 Compared

Wellness coaching is a rhythm business. Your client's sleep, stress, energy and movement change in small daily steps, so the right software for wellness coaches is whatever keeps that rhythm going on the days you are not in the room. A beautiful booking page will not help a client who stopped their evening wind-down on day four and told nobody.
That is how we ranked seven tools. Coachful comes first, because the daily loop (habits, sleep and stress check-ins, guided breathing, a weekly reflection) sits in the same branded app as your sessions, programs, community and payments. Mighty Networks and Kajabi follow for group and content-led practices, then Practice Better, Delenta, Vibly and Mindbody, each the better choice for a particular kind of wellness business.
Coachful also offers something the others do not: its team will build your website, a lead-magnet funnel or a first program inside your account for free, usually within about 24 hours. More on that in the Coachful entry.
The wellness client's week, and where software fits
A typical wellness program covers several areas at once: a client working on burnout might have a sleep goal, a breathing habit, a daily walk and one boundary at work. What they need from you between sessions is small and frequent.
- A morning nudge they can answer in a minute: how did you sleep, how rested do you feel.
- Something to do when stress spikes at 3pm, without waiting for next Thursday.
- A group to share a win with, especially in a challenge or a cohort.
- A reason to keep going: their own streak, a progress ring, a coach who noticed.
Then there is the business side: selling a 12-week program, a monthly membership, a workshop for a company's staff, sometimes a retreat. Most wellness coaches run that side with three or four tools and the daily side with none.
How we judged wellness coaching software
Our criteria, weighted in this order: the daily habit and check-in loop across sleep, stress, movement and energy; group challenges and community; guided content such as audio, video and courses; and selling programs, memberships, classes and corporate work.
Prices and ratings for tools in our competitor registry are given as listed in October 2026. Practice Better and Mindbody are not in that registry, so we describe what their own sites say and leave pricing to them. We note where we could not verify something.

1. Coachful: the best software for wellness coaches
Coachful is a coaching platform that treats the daily loop as the main event. Your client opens one branded app on iPhone, Android or the web and sees today: their habits, the next check-in, the next session and where they are against their goals.
The daily loop
- Habits with schedules, reminders and progress. "Evening wind-down, 12 of 30" is a lot more motivating than a vague intention. Interactive widgets on iPhone and Android let a client tick a habit from the home screen.
- Morning and evening check-ins in your own words, plus coaching flow templates you can switch on per client: a two-minute Sleep Check-In each morning, a Stress Check, a Midday Energy and Focus Pulse and an Evening Wind-Down.
- Something for the 3pm spike. Calm in Five Minutes is an on-demand flow with a guided breathing circle (in for four, hold for four, out for six), a short grounding exercise and a before-and-after calm rating you can see.
- Journeys that chain those pieces over time, such as the Two-Week Stress Reset and the 14-Day Sleep Reset, each with your review built in at the end of week one.
On your side, the client overview shows who is thriving, who has gone quiet and whose check-ins have dipped, so you reach out on Wednesday rather than finding out on Friday.

Programs, community and content
Package your method as a multi-week program with weekly goals, daily tasks and habits; templates such as The Better Sleep Blueprint, The Energy Reset and Habits That Stick give you a draft to edit. Enrol a group and Coachful creates a cohort with a community feed, group chat and group calls on built-in video. Audio and video resources, courses with drip release and live or automated webinars sit in the same account, so a guided relaxation, a recorded workshop and next week's group call are all one tap from the client's home.

Selling it
Sell programs, monthly memberships, single sessions and workshops through your own Stripe or Razorpay account, with payment plans, Apple Pay and Google Pay and a 0% platform fee. Health-history questions go on the booking or intake form, and your agreement is signed before session one. For a company's staff, raise a manual invoice from your product catalogue and enrol the group. The Coachful for health and wellness coaches page has the full feature list.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every Coachful plan, our team will build the parts wellness coaches rarely have the energy for after a full week of sessions: a calm website, a free-guide funnel, a program, an intake form or a welcome sequence. Fill in the short form in your account, add links and files such as your logo, photos, a brand guide or an old site, and the team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. One recent request came from a somatic coach leaving Kajabi: the homepage and About page were rebuilt from the old theme, testimonials and numbers that had been images became real text, and the contact form now feeds Coachful. The work lives in your own account, so you can change it later. See what the free build includes.

Where Coachful falls short
- No wearable or Apple Health sync. Sleep and energy are self-reported, which keeps the client noticing, but it is not device data.
- It is not HIPAA-certified, so clinical work belongs in a clinical system.
- No public marketplace that sends you strangers who are browsing for classes, the way Mindbody's consumer app does.
- Entry plans cap clients, so match the plan to your roster.
Choose Coachful when your results depend on what clients do every day and you want that, the group and the payments in one app.
2. Mighty Networks: the best for challenge and membership practices
Mighty Networks is a community platform for memberships, cohort courses, events and Challenges, with its own member app. Wellness coaches use it for a paid community with monthly challenges and live sessions.

What stands out: native live streaming and events without Zoom, Challenges that encourage daily activity, unlimited members on every plan, and the Mighty app on all plans. Launch is $79 a month billed annually with a 2% transaction fee, as listed in October 2026, and G2 rates it 4.6 from 617 reviews.
Where it falls short for wellness coaches: Challenges are group activity, not a per-client habit tracker with a coach view, and there is no one-to-one booking, intake form or agreement. Own-brand apps require the custom-priced Mighty Pro tier.
Pick it over Coachful if your business is a membership community and individual coaching is a small part of it.
3. Kajabi: for content-led wellness brands
Kajabi is an all-in-one platform for courses, podcasts, memberships, community and coaching, with email, funnels and a website. Wellness creators with an audience use it to sell a library of classes and a group program from one login.

What stands out: Kajabi Communities with challenges, live rooms and leaderboards, a coaching product with built-in live video for up to 200 participants, and a branded app on Growth. Basic is $179 a month and Growth $249, as listed in October 2026.
Where it falls short: no habit tracking or daily check-ins, no coaching agreements, and a 0.5% to 2% surcharge since January 2026 when you use your own Stripe or PayPal instead of Kajabi Payments.
Pick it over Coachful if most of your revenue comes from content and courses sold to a large list. See Coachful vs Kajabi.
4. Practice Better: for practitioners who need charting
Practice Better is practice management software for wellness practitioners, and its homepage says it is used by over 50,000 of them. It fits wellness coaches who work alongside clinical care, such as functional nutrition practitioners.

What stands out: note templates for charting, protocols, food and lifestyle journals, online courses, scheduling, secure telehealth, a client portal and mobile app, and a HIPAA-compliance statement on its homepage.
Where it falls short for wellness coaches: it feels like a practitioner's tool. Daily habit streaks, guided check-ins and a lively group space are not its focus, and we could not verify a community feed.
Pick it over Coachful if you chart, write protocols and need HIPAA compliance in writing.
5. Delenta: HIPAA and a white-label app for wellness teams
Delenta is a coaching management platform with programs, goals, tasks, community feeds, group chat, a course creator and a white-label client app, aimed at coaches and coaching companies that want to scale.

What stands out: HIPAA compliance announced in March 2026 alongside GDPR, a white-label iOS and Android app, and 4.8 on Capterra from 60 reviews. Starter is $29 a month for 10 client portals, Pro $49 for 40 with group coaching, and Premium $79 adds the course creator and the app, as listed in October 2026.
Where it falls short: no dedicated habit tracker, the app and courses wait for Premium, and reviewers mention a learning curve and clunky scheduling on the phone.
Pick it over Coachful if HIPAA or a white-label app under your own name is a hard requirement. See Coachful vs Delenta.
6. Vibly: inexpensive one-to-one wellness admin
Vibly is client management software for coaches with booking, built-in video, contracts, payments, invoicing and superbills, and it claims HIPAA, GDPR and SOC 2 on every tier.

What stands out: unlimited clients on every plan, with Basic listed at $25 a month and Pro at $59, plus a $20 AI add-on for transcripts and summaries, as listed in October 2026. Reviewers rate it 4.9 on Capterra from 21 reviews.
Where it falls short for wellness coaches: no habit tracker or daily check-ins, no client app we could verify, and limited branding. Its pricing page returned an error when our registry was compiled, so confirm prices with Vibly.
Pick it over Coachful if you mostly run one-to-one sessions and want HIPAA-grade video and superbills at a low price.
7. Mindbody: for studios that sell classes
Mindbody is business management software for fitness, wellness and beauty businesses: yoga and barre studios, spas, massage and acupuncture practices.

What stands out: one schedule for staff and bookings, memberships, payments in person and online, automated email and text campaigns, a custom branded booking app, and a consumer Mindbody app that its site says has over 3 million active users searching and booking local services.
Where it falls short for wellness coaches: it is built for class-based and appointment-based venues, not for coaching between sessions. There are no habits, check-ins or programs in the coaching sense.
Pick it over Coachful if you run a physical studio and most of your revenue is drop-in classes and memberships.
Corporate wellness and challenges: what to check first
Selling a wellness program to an employer changes three things.
- Billing. Companies want an invoice, often with a purchase order number, not a card checkout. Make sure your tool can raise one.
- Privacy. Staff will not log honest sleep and stress data if they think their manager sees it. Decide what the company receives (attendance, an aggregate) and tell participants in writing.
- Group shape. A six-week challenge needs a start date, a cap on seats, a group space and one daily action. Each participant should still have their own private record.
Our guide to company-funded coaching billing covers the invoice side, and how to create a group coaching program covers the structure.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best software for wellness coaches?
Coachful, for wellness coaches whose results depend on daily habits. It combines habits with reminders, sleep and stress check-ins, a guided breathing flow, journeys, courses, a community and cohort groups with booking, agreements and payments in one branded app. Mighty Networks suits membership communities, and Practice Better suits practitioners who chart.
What is the difference between health coaching and wellness coaching software?
Health coaching software often leans clinical, with charting, intake histories and compliance. Wellness coaching software leans toward daily habits, stress and sleep routines, community and content. Many coaches need a bit of both. Our ranking of the best software for nutrition coaches covers the clinical end in more depth.
Can I run a wellness challenge inside a coaching app?
Yes. In Coachful, enrol participants in a group program with a start date and Coachful creates a cohort group with a feed, chat and group calls, while habits and check-ins track each person privately. Mighty Networks and Kajabi both have challenge features inside their communities.
Do wellness coaches need HIPAA-compliant software?
Often not, because HIPAA generally applies to healthcare providers, health plans and their business associates, but check your own situation with an adviser, especially if you take referrals from clinics. Coachful is GDPR-ready and is not HIPAA-certified. Delenta, Vibly and Practice Better market HIPAA compliance.
Will Coachful build my wellness coaching website for me?
Yes, free on every plan. Use the "Want us to build it for you?" card on the Website page or the "We'll build it for you · FREE" chip under Create, describe the pages and what visitors should do, and attach your logo, photos and any old site. The team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. Designed templates such as Tidewater and Sanctuary are also there if you prefer to start yourself.
Can clients do guided breathing or meditation in the app?
Coachful's coaching flows include a breathing screen with a guided circle, and the Calm in Five Minutes template uses it with a before-and-after rating. You can also add audio resources, such as your own recorded meditations, to a program or library. It does not include a third-party meditation catalogue.
What software do wellness coaches use for corporate programs?
You need invoicing to a company, a group space with seat caps and private individual records. Coachful handles these with manual invoices, group programs and per-person habits and check-ins. Teams that need formal sponsor reports or HIPAA paperwork for a benefits provider may prefer Delenta.
Before you choose, run your own week through the shortlist: one morning check-in, one stressful afternoon, one group post. The tool you still want to open on day five is the one your clients will open too. More on how to brief your website lives in our wellness coach website guide.
