Discovery Call Script Generator

Get a proven discovery call script tailored to your coaching style and niche.

Most discovery calls are lost in the first five minutes and the last five. This generator writes a script for your niche and style: an opening that sets the frame, qualifying questions that surface the real problem, a way to present your offer without pitching, and a close that asks for a decision.

How to use this tool

  1. 1

Enter your niche, your offer and the price range so the close is written for a real number.

  2. 2

Pick a style. Consultative and direct produce very different closes.

  3. 3

Generate. You get the opening, the questions in order, the transition to your offer, objection responses and the close.

  4. 4

Practise it out loud twice, then keep only the question list on screen during real calls.

The shape of a discovery call that converts

Set the frame in the first minute: how long the call is, what you will cover, and that you will tell them honestly at the end whether you can help. Then ask about the goal, what it costs them today, what they have tried, and what changes if it works. Only then describe how you work, in two minutes, and ask which option fits.

The close is a question, not a pitch: "Do you want to do this?" Then silence. The generator writes the objection responses for price, timing and "I need to think about it" so you are not improvising.

Booking and following up

Charge for the call or not, but always book it through a page with an intake form and a reminder. No-shows drop by half with a reminder and a two-question form. After the call, send the offer and the booking link within the hour while the conversation is warm.

Coachful booking pages take the intake, send the reminders, and can take payment for the call itself. The script is the part you bring.

Questions coaches ask

What questions should I ask on a coaching discovery call?

What do you want to be different in six months? What is it costing you now? What have you tried and what happened? What would make coaching worth it? What is your timeline? If we work together, what would you need from me? The generator orders these for your niche and adds follow-ups.

How long should a discovery call be?

Thirty minutes. Twenty for the conversation, five for your offer, five for the decision. Longer calls become free coaching sessions and convert worse.

Should I charge for discovery calls?

Free calls get more bookings and more tyre-kickers; a small fee, even $25 to $50, filters for serious people and raises show-up rates. Try free first if you are building a roster, paid once you have a waitlist.

How do I close a discovery call without being pushy?

Summarise what they said, connect it to how your program works, state the price plainly, and ask "do you want to do this?" Then stop talking. The script includes the summary structure and the responses to the three common objections.

Is the discovery call script generator free?

Yes. Generate a script per offer or per style. An email is asked for before the script unlocks so we can send you the text.
