Coaching rates by niche

Life coaching typically runs $75 to $200 per session, health and wellness $60 to $150, career $100 to $250, business $150 to $500, executive $250 to $1,000 or more. Location, credentials and proof of results move a coach within the range. Group coaching is priced per seat at a third to a fifth of the 1:1 rate.

Most successful coaches do not sell sessions. They sell a three-month package with a monthly price, which raises the perceived value, reduces no-shows and makes revenue predictable.

Raising your rate without losing clients

Raise it for new clients first, by 20 to 30 percent, and keep existing clients at their rate until their package renews. Announce increases 30 days ahead. Attach the increase to something visible: a new program structure, a client app, a stronger guarantee.
