Coaching Package Pricing Calculator
Price a coaching package from your session rate: sessions, support between sessions, a commitment discount and a payment plan, with the per-session and monthly figures a client compares.
What the client gets for paying for the whole package rather than session by session.
A coaching package is your session rate with three decisions added: what else is included, what the client gets for committing, and how they pay. This calculator takes those decisions and returns the package price, the per-session figure clients compare, the deposit and the instalments, from your own numbers rather than a market guess.
How to use this tool
- 1
Enter your session rate and the number of sessions in the package. If you do not have a rate yet, use the session rate calculator first.
- 2
Choose what is included. Messaging between sessions and worksheets are real delivery and are priced as such.
- 3
Pick the commitment discount a client earns for buying the whole package, and how they pay: in full, in two or three payments, or monthly across the program.
- 4
Read the package price, the per-session comparison and the payment plan. Copy the summary into your offer page or proposal.
Packages beat single sessions, for both sides
A client who buys twelve sessions shows up for twelve sessions; a client who buys one decides again every week. Packages give the client a container and give you predictable income, which is why a modest commitment discount is worth offering and why the per-session price should be shown as the comparison, not the headline.
Between-session support is the part coaches most often give away. If clients can message you, that is in the package and in the price.
Deposits and payment plans
A deposit of about a quarter books the first session and makes the plan real. Fixed payment dates beat "whenever is convenient". On Coachful, packages are offers with Stripe payment plans built in, so the schedule this calculator produces becomes the one your client actually pays.
Questions coaches ask
How much should a coaching package cost?
Your session rate multiplied by the sessions, plus a premium for what is included between sessions, minus a commitment discount. Enter your numbers and the calculator shows the result; most coaches land between 10 and 20 percent below pay-as-you-go for a committed package.
Should I offer a discount for packages?
A small one, five to fifteen percent, in exchange for commitment and payment up front. Larger discounts teach clients that single sessions are overpriced.
How many sessions should a package have?
Enough to reach a visible result: typically six to twelve sessions over two to four months. Shorter packages suit a focused goal; longer ones suit a transition.
Is a payment plan a good idea?
Yes, with a deposit and fixed dates. It widens who can say yes without lowering the price. Monthly over the program length is the simplest to explain.
Does this calculator store my numbers?
No. It runs in your browser. Copy the summary if you want to keep it.
