Best ClickFunnels Alternatives for Coaches 2026: 8 Compared on Funnels and Price

Best ClickFunnels Alternatives for Coaches 2026: 8 Compared on Funnels and Price

This page is for the coach who is already paying ClickFunnels, whose funnel works, and who has started to notice that the funnel is the easy part. Someone opts in, gets the sequence, buys the $997 programme, and lands in a members area built for a course rather than for a person you are supposed to coach for twelve weeks. The tool that sold the thing has almost nothing to say about the following Tuesday.

The best ClickFunnels alternatives for coaches are not simply the best funnel builder. ClickFunnels is arguably still that, and we say so below. Best means the tool that gets a coaching business from a cold visitor to a delivered result for the least total money, while leaving your data portable enough that the next decision is still yours.

Every price, cap, rating and fee below was checked on 15 September 2026, against vendor pricing pages plus G2, Capterra and Trustpilot samples. Leadpages and Podia were checked on their own pricing pages the same day. Two tools here changed materially in the last nine months, so confirm before you put a card down.

What are you actually replacing when you leave ClickFunnels?

Six jobs, not one. ClickFunnels bundles pages, checkout, email, courses, community, appointments and affiliates behind one login, so "an alternative" only means something once you know which of the six you genuinely use.

  • Pages and funnels. Opt-in, sales page, thank-you page, webinar registration, order form. The part everyone thinks they are buying.
  • Checkout that earns more per buyer. Order bumps, one-click upsells, payment plans, subscriptions. Where ClickFunnels genuinely earns its price.
  • Email and automation. Sequences, tags, triggers, broadcasts, and a contact record that survives the purchase.
  • Content delivery. The course, the vault, the recordings, the downloads.
  • Booking and sessions. Discovery calls, 1:1 slots, group calls, reschedules, time zones, reminders.
  • The relationship after the sale. Goals, homework, check-ins, progress, notes, a place your client goes on a Tuesday when nothing is being launched.

ClickFunnels does the first four properly, the fifth thinly through its Appointments app, and has no real answer to the sixth. That is not a criticism of the product, which was built for marketers selling to lists and is very good at it. It is a criticism of using it as the operating system for a coaching practice, which is what plenty of coaches ended up doing because it was already paid for. Write your own list before you shop. Most coaches who audit this honestly find they use three of the six heavily, and that changes which tool is cheaper by more than a thousand dollars a year.

Illustration of six small rounded tiles in two rows, four outlined and two filled gold, representing the six jobs a funnel tool is asked to do

How did we rank these eight tools?

On four things, in this order: how much of a coaching business still runs after the funnel converts, what the bill comes to at your list size rather than at the advertised entry tier, how hard the tool is to leave with your data intact, and how strong the public review sample is. Funnel-building power is the fourth question rather than the first, because almost every tool here builds a decent page in 2026 and almost none of them help you coach.

A note on what we are. Coachful is our product. It is a coaching platform for solo coaches and small coaching teams, priced from $29/mo on Lite for up to 5 clients, $49/mo Solo for up to 20, and $99/mo Pro for unlimited clients, with a 0% platform fee on everything you sell. It does funnels, a website, email sequences, checkout, courses, scheduling, agreements, programmes, habits and community on one client record. It does not do cold-traffic split testing at the depth ClickFunnels or Kartra do, it is not HIPAA certified, and there is no free plan.

Two things worth staring at. The entry price is almost never the price you pay, because every tool in this table caps something that grows: contacts on ClickFunnels and Kartra, email subscribers on Podia, products on Kajabi, pages on Leadpages, clients on Coachful. The "what runs after the sale" column decides whether you buy a second subscription in month four.

The cap is the price. ClickFunnels Launch stops at 10,000 contacts, and the next rung is Scale at $197/mo, so one good list-building quarter doubles your software bill without you changing a single feature.

The tool you are leaving: what ClickFunnels is genuinely good at

ClickFunnels still has the best funnel and checkout engine in this comparison, and pretending otherwise would waste your time. One-click upsells, order bumps, countdown funnels and split tests are native, mature and fast to build, and the 0% commission means the platform takes nothing out of a $997 sale beyond what Stripe or PayPal charge.

Where it breaks for coaches is one tier down. Launch gives you 3 courses, 1 workspace, 2 team members and 10,000 contacts for $97/mo, and the Appointments app is a booking calendar rather than a coaching system. There is no client goal, no habit, no check-in, no session note, no agreement with a signature on it. Coaches fill those gaps with a second and third subscription, and the real ClickFunnels bill is $97 plus whatever those cost.

Price, checked 15 September 2026: Launch $97/mo, or $81 billed annually. Scale $197/mo, or $164 annually, with 75,000 contacts and 300,000 emails a month. Optimize $297/mo, or $248 annually. Dominate is annual only at $5,997/yr, roughly $499.75/mo, sold through a demo booking with no trial. The 14-day trial covers the first three plans, and ClickFunnels' own help centre states the card on file is charged after 14 days if you do not cancel.

Ratings: Trustpilot 4.6 from 2,448 reviews, G2 4.6 from 417, Capterra 4.5 from 666. The largest review sample on this page.

What stands out

  • The funnel and checkout builder every other tool here is measured against.
  • 0% platform commission, so a high-ticket launch is not taxed by the software.
  • Email, courses, community, appointments, affiliates and a store under one login.

The honest catch

  • $97 is the entry price with 3 courses and 10,000 contacts attached, and both caps bite a growing coach quickly.
  • Capterra reviewers repeatedly cite bugs, slow page loads and slow ticket responses, a different picture from the Trustpilot average.
  • Cancellation is widely described as painful, with retention pages and a paid $17/mo pause plan rather than a clean exit.
  • Funnels and courses are proprietary. Contacts export to CSV; the pages and the course content do not come with you.

Best for: coaches running cold paid traffic to a high-ticket offer, where upsell mechanics move more money than client retention does.

1. Coachful: the funnel is half the product, and the smaller half

Coachful is a coaching platform that includes funnels, rather than a funnel builder that includes a members area. The difference shows up about eight minutes after someone buys. In ClickFunnels, a purchase creates a contact with a tag. In Coachful, a purchase creates a client with a programme, a start date, weekly goals, daily tasks, a cohort squad if the programme is a group one, a session bookable against your availability, and an agreement waiting for a signature.

The funnel side is real but deliberately narrower: booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels, with Meta Pixel and GA4 tracking, UTM attribution, order bumps, payment plans, coupons, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Behind it sits a section-based website builder with a blog and custom domain, email lists with broadcasts and multi-step sequences that branch and A/B split, and a link-in-bio hub with booking and checkout built in. What you give up is page-level split-testing depth. What you get back is that the person who converted is a client record rather than a row in a list.

Coaches weighing up how much of this client-tracking layer they actually need can compare options in our coaching client management software guide.

Price, checked 15 September 2026: Lite $29/mo for up to 5 clients with every feature, $19 annually. Solo $49/mo for up to 20 clients, $39 annually. Pro $99/mo for unlimited clients with Coachful Intelligence, $79 annually. Studio $199/mo for 3 coach seats, Agency $299/mo for 6. There is a 0% platform fee on every plan, so after Stripe or Razorpay processing you keep the rest. The trial is 7 days, card required, no charge during the trial, cancel in one click. There is no free plan.

Ratings: Trustpilot 4.5 from 21 reviews.

The leads table, with each lead tagged by where it came from: funnel, resource, quiz, newsletter, link in bio, referral or intake form. Stage and attributed revenue sit on the same row.

What stands out

  • Delivery is native, not bolted on: multi-week programmes with weekly goals and daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, session notes and progress the client sees on their phone.
  • A coaching scheduler with two-way Google, Apple and Outlook sync, buffers, time-zone detection, paid sessions and session credits, plus built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet and Teams links.
  • Agreements with e-signature go out before the first call, which no other tool here except GoHighLevel offers natively.
  • 0% platform fee at every tier, and flat pricing that does not move when your list grows from 2,000 to 20,000 contacts.
  • Clients, programmes and content are imported for you during onboarding rather than left as your weekend project.

The honest catch

  • If your margin comes from split-testing headlines and upsell paths on cold traffic, ClickFunnels and Kartra have deeper page-level testing machinery. Buy on that basis and buy one of them.
  • Our public review footprint is small: 4.5 on Trustpilot from 21 reviews, against ClickFunnels' 2,448 and Systeme.io's 8,424. If review volume is how you decide, that gap is real.

Best for: coaches whose result depends on what the client does between sessions, who want the funnel, the checkout, the programme and the client app on one flat bill.

2. Systeme.io: the cheapest way to keep your funnels working

Systeme.io answers a specific and very common question: what is the least I can pay and still have funnels, email, a course and a checkout that work together? The answer is nothing, because the free plan is not a trial. It carries 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 1 blog, 1 custom domain, unlimited emails and a 0% fee, forever, without a card.

The review record is the strongest thing about it after the price, and the migration team gets named repeatedly in those reviews. It has a native booking calendar with paid appointments, which puts it in a small group alongside Kajabi and GoHighLevel. The editor is less flexible than a premium builder, the community feature is thin, and there is no live video and no mobile app.

Price-to-scope leader. Systeme.io holds 4.9 on Trustpilot from 8,424 reviews and 4.8 on Capterra from 2,126, on a product whose paid tier starts at $17/mo and whose free tier never expires.

Price, checked 15 September 2026: Free forever with 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 1 community, 1 blog, 1 custom domain and unlimited emails. Startup $17/mo, or $14.17 on a $170/yr plan, with 5,000 contacts, unlimited funnels and 5 courses. Webinar $47/mo, or $39.17 on $470/yr, with 10,000 contacts and evergreen webinars. Unlimited $97/mo, or $80.83 on $970/yr, with unlimited contacts, sub-accounts, a free migration service and priority support. 0% platform fee on every plan including Free.

Ratings: Trustpilot 4.9 from 8,424 reviews, G2 4.8 from 744, Capterra 4.8 from 2,126.

What stands out

  • A free tier that is genuinely usable, which makes it the safest place to park your funnels while you decide what to do about delivery.
  • Unlimited emails on every plan, including Free, with no per-send metering anywhere in the pricing.
  • Native affiliate management on all plans, including Free, which ClickFunnels reserves for paid tiers.

The honest catch

  • The page editor is the weakest premium-feeling part; Capterra reviewers call it clunky and mention limited undo.
  • No coaching layer at all: no programmes, no habits, no client goals, no session notes, no live rooms.
  • Contact exports arrive as an emailed link that expires after 3 days, so a slow week means requesting it again.

Best for: coaches whose budget is the binding constraint, and anyone who wants to stop paying $97/mo this week without rebuilding the whole business at once.

3. Kajabi: the closest thing to ClickFunnels built for knowledge businesses

Kajabi is the tool most coaches compare against ClickFunnels, and for good reason: website, email, funnels, checkout, courses, communities and a dedicated coaching product all share one contact record. The coaching product is the part that matters here, with its own scheduler, built-in live video for up to 200 participants with 20 breakout rooms, session outlines, shared notes and milestone-based programmes. Nothing else outside Coachful and GoHighLevel puts that much coaching structure in the box.

The problem is what happened to the price. In January 2026 Kajabi restructured, raising prices 25 to 61 percent, cutting Basic from 10,000 contacts to 2,500, removing the $89 Kickstarter plan from public pricing and adding a surcharge for using your own payment processor. The public ratings reflect the mood: Trustpilot 3.5 from 2,337 reviews, G2 4.1 from 93, and value for money is the weakest Capterra sub-score at 3.7 out of 5.

The January 2026 reset. Kajabi raised prices 25 to 61 percent and cut its Basic plan from 10,000 contacts to 2,500, which put a working coach's entry price at $179/mo.

Price, checked 15 September 2026: Basic $179/mo, or $143 annually, with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 2 admin users and no AI credits. Growth $249/mo, or $199 annually, with 50 products, 25,000 contacts, 11 admin users, an affiliate programme and the branded mobile app. Pro $499/mo, or $399 annually, with unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 3 communities and 26 admin users. Kickstarter at $89/mo left public pricing in January 2026. Kajabi Payments carries no platform fee, with processing at 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic falling to 2.7% on Pro, plus a 0.5 to 2% surcharge on outside processors.

Ratings: Capterra 4.4 from 226 reviews, G2 4.1 from 93, Trustpilot 3.5 from 2,337.

What stands out

  • The coaching product includes a scheduler, live video, session notes and milestone programmes, more coaching structure than any other course platform here.
  • The branded mobile app is included on Growth and Pro rather than sold as a four-figure add-on.
  • One contact record across website, email, funnels, checkout, courses and community.

The honest catch

  • $179/mo with 2,500 contacts is the highest realistic starting price in this set.
  • Trustpilot complaints cluster around AI-first support that cannot escalate, unexpected charges and failed cancellations.
  • No contracts or e-signature, no habits, no daily task engine, so 1:1 accountability still needs somewhere else to live.

Best for: coaches whose business is mostly courses and memberships with coaching attached, who can absorb $179 to $249/mo.

4. GoHighLevel: everything, if you are willing to become an operator

GoHighLevel has the widest feature footprint on this page and it is not close. Native calendars with two-way Google, Outlook and iCloud sync, contracts with e-signature, invoicing, SMS and voice, CRM pipelines, funnels with upsells and A/B tests, courses, communities and unlimited users, all on the $97 Starter plan.

The catch is that it was built for agencies managing many client accounts, and that shape never fully leaves. A solo coach meets sub-accounts, snapshots, A2P SMS registration and workflow builders before anything works. Then the metering starts: email at roughly $0.675 per 1,000 sends, SMS at roughly $0.0079 per segment, phone and AI billed separately, HIPAA as a $297/mo module and a white-label app at $497/mo. Published examples put real spend around $180/mo on the $97 plan.

The $97 plan is not a $97 bill. GoHighLevel meters email at about $0.675 per 1,000 sends, so a 12,000-person list emailed four times a month adds roughly $32/mo before you send a single text message.

Coaches specifically shopping for pipeline and lead-tracking tools rather than a full funnel suite should also see our coaching CRM comparison.

Price, checked 15 September 2026: Starter $97/mo, or $80.83 on a $970/yr plan, with up to 3 sub-accounts and the full feature set. Unlimited $297/mo, or $247.50 on $2,970/yr, with unlimited sub-accounts and rebilling. Agency Pro $497/mo, or $414.17 on $4,970/yr, which adds SaaS mode so you can resell the platform under your own brand. Enterprise is custom. There is no platform fee on your sales, but email, SMS, phone and AI usage are billed on top. The trial is 14 days, card required, and usage charges can accrue during it.

Ratings: Trustpilot 4.9 from 14,879 reviews, Capterra 4.6 from 1,247, G2 4.6 from 649.

What stands out

  • Contracts with e-signature, invoicing with reminders and native calendars with true two-way sync, all at the entry tier.
  • Unlimited contacts and unlimited users inside a sub-account, so list growth does not trigger a price jump.
  • Two-way SMS and WhatsApp, which no other tool here does natively.

The honest catch

  • Setup is measured in weekends, not minutes, and the agency-shaped mental model never entirely goes away.
  • Metered usage makes the monthly bill genuinely hard to predict before three months have run through it.
  • Course, community and website modules are broad but shallower than Kajabi's, and there is no habit or programme engine.

Best for: coaches who are really building an agency or a multi-brand operation, and anyone who wants SMS in the same system as the funnel.

5. Podia: the simplest thing that still sells and delivers

Podia is the opposite of GoHighLevel. One product, three tiers, almost nothing to configure. Every plan includes a website, custom domain, blog, landing pages, checkout, courses, community and a coaching product, and the 30-day trial does not ask for a credit card, the friendliest trial on this page.

What you trade away is scale and funnel depth. There is no funnel A/B testing, and the email subscriber caps are the tightest here: 100 on Mover, 500 on Shaker, 1,000 on Earthquaker. For a coach selling to a small warm audience that is fine. For anyone running a lead magnet into a list, you hit the ceiling fast and the next tier doubles the price rather than nudging it.

Price, checked 15 September 2026: Mover $42/mo, $504/yr, with a 5% transaction fee, up to 100 email subscribers, 50 products, 500 videos and 25 spaces. Shaker $84/mo, $1,008/yr, no transaction fee, up to 500 subscribers and 150 products. Earthquaker $150/mo, $1,800/yr, no fee, up to 1,000 subscribers and unlimited products. Annual billing is the monthly rate times twelve, so there is no annual discount. There is no free plan; the trial is 30 days with no card. Stripe or PayPal processing at 2.9% + 30 cents applies separately.

Ratings: not verified for this page. We took pricing from Podia's own page on 15 September 2026 and did not pull a review sample.

What stands out

  • A 30-day trial with no credit card, the only no-card trial in this comparison.
  • Coaching, community, courses and a website on every tier, including the cheapest one.
  • Nothing to learn. A coach can have an offer live in an afternoon without a course on how to use the software.

The honest catch

  • The 5% fee on Mover is expensive at real volume. On $30,000 of annual sales it costs $1,500, triple the $504/yr you would spend moving up to Shaker.
  • Email subscriber caps of 100, 500 and 1,000 are low for anyone running lead magnets.
  • No habits, goals, check-ins or agreements, so the coaching itself still happens in your inbox.

Best for: coaches with a small warm audience who want one simple bill and are allergic to configuration.

Do the fee arithmetic before you pick a tier. Podia's 5% Mover fee equals the $504/yr gap to Shaker at $10,080 of annual sales, so past ten thousand dollars the cheaper plan is the more expensive one.

6. Kartra: deep funnel mechanics with a support problem

Kartra is the closest thing here to ClickFunnels in shape: pages, funnels, email and SMS, memberships, video hosting, calendars, helpdesk and affiliates in one system, with behaviour-based automations and lead scoring that go further than most coaching tools bother with. Funnel simulation on the Growth tier walks a hypothetical buyer through the whole sequence before you launch it, which almost nobody else offers.

The reviews are why it sits at six rather than three. Trustpilot 3.4 from 128 reviews and G2 3.9 from 57 land on the same complaints: bugs, an inconsistent interface and support measured in days or weeks. Capterra is kinder at 4.5 from 168. The entry plan is also a trap worth naming, because Essentials at $59 carries a 5% transaction fee, 500 contacts, 5 pages and 1 product, which is not a business.

Price, checked 15 September 2026: Essentials $59/mo, or $52 annually, with 500 contacts, 5 pages, 1 product, 10,000 emails a month and a 5% transaction fee. Starter $119/mo, or $99 annually, with 2,500 contacts, unlimited pages, products and memberships, unlimited email and SMS, 5 team members and no transaction fee. Growth $229/mo, or $189 annually, with 12,500 contacts, funnel simulation, affiliates, a helpdesk and 10 team members. Professional $549/mo, or $429 annually, with 25,000 contacts. The trial is 14 days.

Ratings: Capterra 4.5 from 168 reviews, G2 3.9 from 57, Trustpilot 3.4 from 128.

What stands out

  • Native calendars and a native helpdesk remove two separate subscriptions from a typical stack.
  • Behaviour-based automation and lead scoring are more advanced than anything in the coaching-admin category.
  • Funnel simulation on Growth shows the sequence a buyer will experience before you spend on traffic.

The honest catch

  • Trustpilot 3.4 is the lowest score on this page, and the recurring theme is slow support rather than missing features.
  • The real entry price is $119, not $59, once you account for the 5% fee and the 500-contact cap.
  • Community only arrives at the $229 Growth tier, and there is no mobile app for you or your members.

Best for: marketing-heavy coaches who want ClickFunnels-style mechanics at a lower tier and can live with slow support.

7. Leadpages: only if pages were the whole reason you were paying

Leadpages does not replace ClickFunnels. It replaces one part of it: the pages. If you have been paying $97/mo and honestly use the page builder and nothing else, because your email lives in one tool and your course lives in another, the cheaper answer is a dedicated page builder and the difference is significant.

The current line-up splits into a lighter "HTML Pub" set and the full Leadpages set. A/B testing does not appear until the Grow tier, and there is no checkout, no email delivery, no course hosting and no coaching layer anywhere in the product. You are assembling a stack, and the honest total is Leadpages plus a checkout plus an email tool plus somewhere for the programme to live.

Price, checked 15 September 2026: the pricing page served euro prices from our location, so these are the figures shown and we could not verify the US dollar equivalents on 15 September 2026. Starter €10/mo (€8 annually), 5 pages. Pro €29 (€23.20), 25 pages and 1 blog. Business €49 (€39.20), 50 pages and 2 domains. Grow €115 (€92), unlimited pages and manual A/B testing. Optimize €229 (€183.20), adding AI traffic routing and heatmaps. Scale €399 (€319.20). Every plan carries unlimited traffic and a 7-day trial that bills on day 7.

Ratings: not verified for this page. We took pricing from the Leadpages pricing page on 15 September 2026 and did not pull a review sample.

What stands out

  • Unlimited traffic on every plan, including the €10 tier, which is unusual at that price.
  • Page-only pricing that starts an order of magnitude below ClickFunnels.
  • Heatmaps and AI traffic routing at the Optimize tier for coaches genuinely optimising paid campaigns.

The honest catch

  • No checkout, no email sending, no courses, no booking and no client management, so it is never the only bill.
  • A/B testing starts at the €115 Grow tier, which is back in ClickFunnels price territory with less product.
  • Prices displayed in euros from our location, so budget in your own currency before committing.

Best for: coaches who already have email and delivery sorted elsewhere and just want better landing pages for less.

What does a year of this actually cost?

Take two real shapes of coaching business and run the bill. The entry prices stop being useful the moment you have a list.

Coach A: eight 1:1 clients, a 900-person list, one $997 programme. ClickFunnels Launch is $1,164 a year, or $972 paid annually. Systeme.io covers this on the free plan, or $204 a year on Startup. Coachful Solo covers 20 clients at $588 a year, or $468 annually. Podia Mover is $504 a year plus a 5% fee, and on $30,000 of sales that fee is $1,500, so the real figure is over $2,000. Kajabi Basic is $2,148. GoHighLevel Starter is $1,164 before metering. The spread between the cheapest workable answer and the most expensive is roughly $1,700 a year for the same eight clients.

Coach B: a 12,000-person list, a group programme, a course, one assistant. ClickFunnels Launch no longer fits, because it caps at 10,000 contacts, so this coach is on Scale at $2,364 a year. Kajabi Growth handles 25,000 contacts at $2,988. Kartra Growth handles 12,500 contacts at $2,748. Systeme.io Unlimited is $1,164. Coachful Pro is $1,188 for unlimited clients, or $948 on annual billing. GoHighLevel Starter is $1,164 plus roughly $32 a month in email metering at four sends a month, landing near $1,550 before any SMS.

Notice which variable moved the bill. Not funnel features. Contact caps on ClickFunnels and Kartra, subscriber caps on Podia, product caps on Kajabi, metering on GoHighLevel. When a coach says their software bill doubled and nothing changed, this is what happened.

What can you take with you when you leave?

Contacts, in every case. Almost nothing else, in most cases. This question decides whether your next migration is a weekend or a quarter, and it is the one nobody asks during a trial.

ClickFunnels exports contacts to CSV; funnels and pages are proprietary and course content has to be rebuilt. Kartra is the same story, with cancelled accounts retained only briefly. Kajabi emails CSVs for contacts, subscriptions, sales and members, makes you download course assets one at a time, and permanently removes data 90 days after cancellation. GoHighLevel exports contacts, opportunities and conversations, keeps funnels portable only as snapshots inside HighLevel, and makes data inaccessible after cancellation. Systeme.io exports contacts through a link that expires in 3 days, and cancelling drops you back to the free plan with your data intact, the gentlest exit here.

Coachful gives you a full client data ZIP covering the roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions and form responses, plus course export and an organisation backup JSON, on monthly plans you cancel in one click. We would say that, so treat it as a claim to test: run the export during the trial and look at what is in the file.

Export on the day you subscribe, not the day you leave, and open the file. Several tools here export a contact list that does not include the thing you actually care about, and you find that out when it is the only copy you have.

Rebuilding your best ClickFunnels funnel in one afternoon

Most switches stall because coaches try to move everything. Move the one funnel that earns, prove it converts, and leave the rest running until it does. Here is the order that works, using Coachful as the example.

  1. Rebuild the offer first, not the page. Create the offer with its price, payment plan and what the buyer gets. Everything downstream attaches to it.
  2. Point a domain. Connect your custom domain and check the SSL before you write a word of copy, because DNS is the step that eats an afternoon if you leave it last.
  3. Build the funnel around the offer. Lead-magnet page, thank-you page, sales page, checkout. Add the Meta Pixel and GA4, and set the UTMs you already use so your ads reporting keeps making sense.
  4. Port the email sequence as-is. Same delays, same subject lines, nothing improved on the first pass, because you want to compare like with like.
  5. Attach the delivery. The step that does not exist in ClickFunnels. Connect the programme, so a purchase enrols the buyer, starts week one, creates the cohort squad if it is a group programme, and puts the first session on your calendar.
  6. Run one live buyer through it. Buy your own offer with a real card, refund yourself, and watch what the client sees. Every gap shows up in the handoffs, never in the feature list.

Six mistakes coaches make when switching off ClickFunnels

All six cost money and five are avoidable in the first week.

  • Cancelling before the new funnel converts. Run both for one billing cycle. The overlap costs less than a dead launch week.
  • Buying on funnel features you do not use. Count how many split tests you ran last year. If the answer is zero, stop paying for split testing.
  • Ignoring the cap that will bite next. Contacts, subscribers, products, pages, clients. Find the one that grows in your business and price the tier above it before you commit.
  • Forgetting the pixel and the UTMs. Rebuilt pages without tracking break ad attribution silently, and you will blame the creative for two weeks.
  • Leaving the course content until last. Course assets are the slowest thing to move on every platform here.
  • Treating the members area as delivery. A folder of videos is not coaching. If your clients need to do something between sessions, the tool needs goals, tasks and check-ins, not another content library.

Which ClickFunnels alternative should a coach actually pick?

If your clients are supposed to do something between sessions, pick Coachful. The funnel is narrower than ClickFunnels and the price is a third to a quarter of it, and the difference is that a purchase creates a coached client rather than a tagged contact.

Three honest exceptions. If your money comes from cold paid traffic and upsell mechanics, stay on ClickFunnels or move to Kartra, because page-level testing is a real edge and we do not match it. If budget is the whole decision, go to Systeme.io, keep the free plan running, and revisit in six months. If your business is genuinely a course business with coaching attached rather than a coaching business with a course attached, Kajabi's coaching product plus its branded app is worth the $179 to $249.

Two tools here are narrow by design: Leadpages if pages were the only thing you used, and Podia if your audience is small, warm and you want one simple bill. GoHighLevel is the right answer only if you are building an agency.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best ClickFunnels alternative for coaches?

It depends on whether your revenue comes from the funnel or from the coaching. For coaches whose result depends on client follow-through, Coachful at $29 to $99/mo covers the funnel, checkout, email, website, programmes, habits and sessions on one bill with a 0% platform fee. For coaches whose revenue really does come from cold traffic and upsell paths, ClickFunnels at $97/mo is still the better machine, and Kartra from $119 is the closest cheaper version of it.

Is there a free ClickFunnels alternative?

Systeme.io has a genuine free plan with 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 1 blog, 1 custom domain, unlimited emails and a 0% fee, and it does not expire. Podia offers a 30-day trial with no credit card but no free plan. ClickFunnels, Kajabi, Kartra, GoHighLevel and Coachful all require payment after a trial. If free is the constraint, Systeme.io is the only real answer on this page.

How much does ClickFunnels cost in 2026?

Launch is $97/mo, or $81 billed annually, with 10,000 contacts, 50,000 emails a month, 3 courses, 1 workspace and 2 team members. Scale is $197/mo, or $164 annually, with 75,000 contacts. Optimize is $297/mo, or $248 annually. Dominate is annual only at $5,997/yr, roughly $499.75/mo. The 14-day trial requires a card and ClickFunnels' help centre states it bills after 14 days if you do not cancel. Checked 15 September 2026.

Can I run a coaching business entirely on ClickFunnels?

You can sell on it and deliver a course on it, but the coaching itself has nowhere to live. There is no client goal, no habit tracking, no check-in, no session note, no agreement with a signature, and the Appointments app is a booking calendar rather than a coaching scheduler. Most coaches end up adding a scheduler, a contract tool and a client tracker, so the real bill is $97 plus those three.

Which ClickFunnels alternative is cheapest for a coach?

Systeme.io, at zero on the free plan and $17/mo on Startup with 5,000 contacts and unlimited funnels. Coachful Lite at $29/mo is the cheapest option that includes the coaching layer, capped at 5 clients. Podia Mover looks cheap at $42/mo until you count the 5% fee, which reaches $1,500 on $30,000 of annual sales. Kartra Essentials looks cheap at $59 but carries the same 5% fee and only 500 contacts.

Does Coachful have a funnel builder like ClickFunnels?

It has funnels, not the full ClickFunnels apparatus. Coachful builds booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with Meta Pixel and GA4 tracking, UTM attribution, order bumps, payment plans, coupons, Apple Pay and Google Pay, on a $29 to $99/mo plan with no platform fee. What it does not have is page-level split testing at ClickFunnels' depth. If split testing is how you make money, that is a real reason to stay where you are.

Is Kajabi or ClickFunnels better for coaches?

Kajabi, if your business is courses and memberships, because its coaching product includes a scheduler, live video for up to 200 participants, session outlines and milestone programmes, and the branded mobile app is included on Growth. ClickFunnels, if your business is selling. The gap is price: Kajabi Basic is $179/mo with 2,500 contacts after the January 2026 restructure, against ClickFunnels Launch at $97 with 10,000.

What is the best ClickFunnels alternative with a booking calendar?

Four tools here book sessions natively. Coachful has a full coaching scheduler with two-way Google, Apple and Outlook sync, buffers, time-zone detection, paid sessions and session credits. GoHighLevel has round-robin and class calendars with two-way sync on the $97 plan. Kajabi has its own scheduler inside the coaching product with built-in live video. Systeme.io has a booking calendar with paid appointments, though calendar sync is not verified.

Will I lose my funnels if I leave ClickFunnels?

Yes. Contacts export to CSV, but funnels and pages are proprietary and course content has to be rebuilt somewhere else. The same is true of Kartra and largely true of GoHighLevel, whose funnels move only as snapshots within HighLevel. Plan the rebuild rather than the export: move the one funnel that earns, and keep ClickFunnels running for one billing cycle until the new one converts.

Do any of these tools charge a percentage of my coaching sales?

ClickFunnels, GoHighLevel, Systeme.io and Coachful all take 0% of what you sell, leaving only Stripe, PayPal or Razorpay processing. Podia charges 5% on the $42 Mover plan and nothing above it. Kartra charges 5% on the $59 Essentials plan and nothing from Starter up. Kajabi takes 0% on Kajabi Payments but adds a 0.5 to 2% surcharge if you bring your own processor.

If the funnel is working and the problem is everything that happens after someone buys, the fix is not a better page builder. Coachful puts the funnel, the checkout, the email sequence, the programme, the sessions and the client app on one flat bill from $29/mo with a 0% platform fee, and imports your clients, programmes and content for you during onboarding.

Start the 7-day trial, rebuild your one best funnel, buy your own offer with a real card, and watch what the client sees on the other side. That is the only test that settles this.
