Best Coaching App With Payments in 2026: 7 Compared

Best Coaching App With Payments in 2026: 7 Compared

A coaching app with payments should do something simple that surprisingly few manage: let a client pay you, then open the thing they paid for in an app on their phone, without a second login or a "check your email for the link" step. The deciding questions are whose account the money lands in, what the platform takes, and what the client can actually do in the app once they have paid.

We compared seven apps that take client payments and give clients an app, from coaching platforms to course and fitness apps. Coachful ranks first: client payments go to your own Stripe or Razorpay account with a 0% Coachful platform fee, and what they bought appears in the iPhone and Android app straight away. Our team will also set up your offers, checkout and client experience for you, free on every plan.

If you want the full field of coaching apps regardless of payments, see our comparison of the best coaching apps for online coaches. This guide is narrower: the app has to take the money too.

Three ways a coaching app handles payments

  • Coaching platform with a client app. The payment is attached to a package, program or session, and the client's app shows what they bought. Coachful, Delenta and Simply.Coach work this way.
  • Course platform with a customer app. The payment buys a product, and the app is a library for courses and community. Kajabi is the main example.
  • Fitness app with payments added. The app is built for workouts, and payments are a feature or an add-on. Trainerize, TrueCoach and HubFit sit here.

None is wrong. The question is which one matches what your clients do after they pay.

How we ranked coaching apps with payments

Ranked by: payment into your own account with low fees first, then what the client app does after payment, then which plan you need to get both, then cost.

Prices, ratings and features for apps other than Coachful are as listed in October 2026.

1. Coachful: best coaching app with payments

Coachful is a coaching platform with a client app for iPhone and Android, payments through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account and a 0% Coachful platform fee. A client buys a session, a package or a program on your offer page or at booking, and it shows up in their app: the next session with its call link, the prep you asked for, the program for this week, habits and check-ins, your messages and the community.

Taking client payments

  • One-time payments, subscriptions and payment plans, with tiers, coupons and order bumps.
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay at checkout.
  • Paid sessions at booking and packages that become session credits, so clients book in the app without paying again.
  • Your agreement signed in the flow, and access granted automatically after purchase.
  • An invoice for every payment, recorded against the package on the client's record.

What the client app does

Between sessions, clients follow their program, tick off habits with streaks, complete morning and evening check-ins, watch course lessons and talk to you and the group. Your logo and colors appear inside the app. To be clear about the limits: the app is listed as Coachful in the App Store and Google Play, with your branding inside, rather than under your own app listing. More on the Coachful client app.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every Coachful plan, our team will build your offers, checkout funnel, website or first program inside your account, usually within about 24 hours of your request. You connect your payment account, send what you have, and the team builds the rest. See what the free white-glove service builds.

Where it falls short

  • No PayPal; payments run through Stripe or Razorpay.
  • No separate App Store listing under your own name.
  • No free plan, and entry plans cap the number of clients.

Pick it when: you sell coaching (sessions, packages, programs) and want the payment, the booking and the client's week in one app. The payment software page lists every checkout option.

2. Kajabi: best for course-led businesses

Kajabi is a course, community and website platform with its own payment processing and a customer app.

Kajabi homepage with the headline The all-in-one platform that turns what you know into what you earn
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

What stands out. A 0% platform fee on Kajabi Payments, with processing from 2.9% plus 30 cents on Basic. The customer app is available on Growth ($249 a month) and Pro, and the branded app is on those plans too. Built-in live video, a scheduler and group coaching sit inside its coaching product.

Where it falls short for coaches. Basic is $179 a month with 5 products and 2,500 contacts, and no app. Using your own Stripe or PayPal adds a 0.5% to 2% surcharge. There are no contracts, habits or daily check-ins.

Pick it over Coachful when: courses and community are most of your revenue and coaching is an add-on. See Coachful vs Kajabi.

3. Trainerize: best for fitness coaches

Trainerize is one of the largest online training apps, with apps for both coach and client.

What stands out. Programs, habits, challenges and nutrition in a mature client app, with self-booking for appointments and classes. Capterra rates it 4.6 from 694 reviews, and pricing runs from free for one client to $135 a month for 50.

Where it falls short for coaches. In-app payments need the $10 a month Stripe Integrated Payments add-on on Grow and Pro plans, and a custom-branded app is a $169 one-time add-on on Pro 30 and above. Trustpilot sits at 3.2.

Pick it over Coachful when: you are a fitness coach who wants the deepest exercise library and wearable coverage.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

4. Delenta: best for your own app listing

Delenta is a coaching management platform with a white-label client app.

Delenta's homepage in October 2026.

What stands out. Payments through Stripe or PayPal with no added transaction fees, programs, digital contracts, invoicing and community feeds. Premium at $79 a month adds a white-labelled iPhone and Android app and the course creator. Capterra rates it 4.8 from 60 reviews, and it announced HIPAA compliance in March 2026.

Where it falls short for coaches. The app is on Premium only; Starter at $29 has 10 client portals and no group coaching. Reviewers describe phone scheduling as clunky and the learning curve as steep.

Pick it over Coachful when: an app listed under your own brand, or HIPAA, is a requirement. See Coachful vs Delenta.

5. Simply.Coach: best for corporate-sponsored coaching

Simply.Coach is a coaching platform with native apps and business plans for organizations.

Simply.Coach homepage with the headline More clients. Less Admin. More Impact.
Simply.Coach's homepage in October 2026.

What stands out. iPhone and Android apps, embedded video, programs with action plans and invoicing with session packages. Solo plans start at $9 a month for 3 clients. G2 rates it 4.8 from about 146 reviews.

Where it falls short for coaches. Its site does not name the payment processors and we could not verify its fees. Client and contract caps apply below its Leap plan.

Pick it over Coachful when: you sell coaching to HR teams and need sponsor and stakeholder roles across many coaches. See Coachful vs Simply.Coach.

6. TrueCoach: best client app for strength coaches

TrueCoach is a programming-first app for online strength and fitness coaches.

What stands out. A client app rated 4.9 from about 35,000 App Store ratings and recurring Stripe payments included on every tier, from Starter at $29.98 a month for 5 clients.

Where it falls short for coaches. In-app payments only work for coaches with bank accounts in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. There is no appointment booking or video, and the coach app is rated around 1.8.

Pick it over Coachful when: you program workouts for online clients in those four countries and need nothing else.

7. HubFit: best low-cost fitness app

HubFit is an online fitness coaching app with workouts, nutrition, habits and check-ins.

What stands out. A native client app and a lot included at a low price, with Standard at $39 a month for up to 50 clients. Capterra rates it 5.0, though from 6 reviews.

Where it falls short for coaches. Stripe payments and custom branding start on Premium at $69 a month. There is no appointment scheduling, video calls or contracts.

Pick it over Coachful when: you run app-only fitness coaching and want the lowest monthly cost with payments.

Questions to ask before you choose

  1. Whose account does the money land in? Your own Stripe account means you own the customer relationship and the payout schedule.
  2. What does the platform take on top of processing? 0%, a percentage, or a surcharge if you use your own processor.
  3. Which plan includes both payments and the app? On several apps here, they sit on different tiers.
  4. What happens in the app after payment? Sessions to book, a program to follow, a course to watch, or only a receipt.
  5. Can the client book with what they bought? Packages should become credits, not a second checkout.
  6. What is the app called in the store? Decide whether your own listing is worth the extra cost.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best coaching app with payments?

Coachful is our first choice for coaches who sell sessions, packages or programs: client payments go to your own Stripe or Razorpay account with a 0% platform fee, and what they bought appears in the iPhone and Android client app. Kajabi suits course-led businesses, and Trainerize suits fitness coaches.

Which coaching app lets clients pay and book sessions in one place?

Coachful takes payment at booking or sells packages that become session credits, so clients book from the app without paying again. Trainerize also has client self-booking for appointments and classes, with payments through a paid Stripe add-on, as listed in October 2026.

Do coaching apps take a percentage of client payments?

Some do. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee, and Delenta advertises no added transaction fees. Kajabi charges 0% on Kajabi Payments but adds 0.5% to 2% if you use your own Stripe or PayPal, as listed in October 2026. Processing fees from Stripe or PayPal apply everywhere.

Can I have a coaching app under my own brand with payments?

Delenta offers a white-labelled iPhone and Android app on its Premium plan, and Kajabi has a branded app on Growth and Pro. Coachful's app shows your logo and colors inside, but it is listed as Coachful in the app stores rather than under your own name.

Is there a coaching app with client payments that works outside the US?

Yes. Coachful takes payments through Stripe in the countries Stripe supports, or Razorpay where Coachful offers it, and you can set explicit prices in several currencies. TrueCoach's in-app payments are limited to coaches with bank accounts in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

Will Coachful set up my coaching app and payments for free?

The white-glove service is free on every Coachful plan. The team builds your offers, checkout funnel, website or first program inside your account, usually within about 24 hours of your request. You connect your own Stripe or Razorpay account, and everything stays editable afterwards.

What is the difference between a coaching app with payments and a payment platform?

A payment platform such as Stripe or PayPal takes the money and stops there. A coaching app with payments ties the payment to what the client bought: a package of sessions they can book, a program they follow in the app, a course or a community. If you want the processor comparison instead, read our guide to payment platforms for coaches.
