Top 7 Coaching Software With Stripe in 2026

Top 7 Coaching Software With Stripe in 2026

The best coaching software with Stripe is the one that sends client payments into your own Stripe account, adds no platform fee on top of Stripe's processing, and handles the billing shapes coaches actually sell: payment plans, monthly subscriptions, packages and group programs. Almost every coaching tool says "Stripe integration" somewhere. The deciding question is narrower: when a client pays, whose account receives the money, who takes a cut, and what happens to that client after the payment clears?

Our pick is Coachful. It connects to your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect, charges a 0% Coachful platform fee (since August 2026), and supports one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Stripe Tax. The bigger reason is what happens next: the paying client lands in a branded app with their program, sessions, check-ins and community, under the same login you use to run the business. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read the six alternatives below, each with the situations where it is the better buy.

This guide is built as a decision tool. Answer five questions about your practice first, use the table to see which tool fits, then read the ranked sections, the cost comparison at 5, 15 and 40 clients, and the red flags that cost coaches money when they switch later.

What should you check before choosing coaching software with Stripe?

Five questions decide most of this choice. Answer them honestly about the next twelve months, not about the practice you wish you had today.

1. Do payments need to land in your own Stripe account?

There are two common setups. In the first, you connect your own Stripe account (often through Stripe Connect) and payouts reach your bank on Stripe's schedule. In the second, the platform is the processor or runs its own payments product, and you are paid out by the platform. The first keeps your payment history, disputes and customer records in an account you control, which matters if you ever leave. If owning the Stripe account matters to you, every tool in the top five of this list supports it.

2. Will the platform take a percentage on top of Stripe?

Stripe charges its processing fee on every card payment no matter which software you use. Some platforms add their own fee on top, either as a flat percentage or as a "gateway fee" that only applies when you bring an outside processor. A 1% or 2% platform fee sounds small, but it grows with your revenue while a flat subscription does not. Check the pricing page and the fine print for the words "transaction fee", "platform fee" and "gateway".

3. How do your clients pay: once, monthly, or in instalments?

A coach selling a single paid call needs very little. A coach selling a 12-week program for a lump sum or three monthly instalments, plus an ongoing monthly retainer, needs payment plans, subscriptions and failed-payment handling. Sessions credits and packages matter if clients prepay for a block of calls. Write down every offer you sell now and the one you plan to launch next.

4. What should a client get the moment they pay?

This is where tools differ most. Some stop at the receipt. Others send an agreement for e-signature, open a booking link, enroll the client in a program, add them to a group and start an email sequence. If you currently stitch this together with three or four apps, the payment tool you pick decides how much manual work happens after every sale.

5. How many clients will you have, and how will that change?

Pricing shapes vary: flat per coach, capped by active clients, capped by contacts, or per seat. A plan that looks cheap at 5 clients can triple at 40. Think about the practice you will run in a year, and whether you will add a second coach. The cost table further down runs the numbers at 5, 15 and 40 clients.

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

Which coaching software with Stripe fits your answers?

We ranked on four things, in this order: one login for the whole client journey from payment to delivery, support for between-session delivery (programs, check-ins, habits), total stack cost including any platform fee on Stripe payments, and setup effort, where Coachful's free white-glove build counts in its favour.

7. KajabiCourse and community business at scale that is happy to use Kajabi's own paymentsKajabi Payments, or another provider with an extra fee2% Basic, 1% Growth, 0.5% Pro when using a non-Kajabi processor (PayPal excepted)

To make the cost and feature comparisons concrete, we used one scenario throughout: a coach with 15 active 1:1 clients, some on a monthly retainer and some on a three-instalment program, plus one group program that runs twice a year. Where we show money, the figures are examples to show the arithmetic, not data about any real business.

1. Coachful: the best coaching software with Stripe for the whole client journey

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect account (or Razorpay), and there is a 0% Coachful platform fee, so the only fee on a client payment is Stripe's own processing.

What does the Stripe side cover?

Coachful documents these billing options, all through your connected Stripe account:

  • One-time payments for packages, programs and products.
  • Subscriptions for monthly retainers and memberships.
  • Payment plans, so a client can split a program into instalments.
  • Order bumps and coupons at checkout.
  • Refunds from inside the app.
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay at checkout.
  • Stripe Tax for calculating sales tax or VAT where you have set it up.
  • An invoice per transaction, plus manual invoices when you bill outside a checkout.

Paid sessions and session credits work through the booking pages, so a client can pay for a single call or draw down a prepaid block. You can read more on the coaching payment software page.

What happens after the client pays?

This is where Coachful separates from tools that stop at the receipt. A coaching agreement with e-signature can go out before the first call and is stored on the client record (see coaching contracts). The client books through a page with your availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync and either built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Intake questions can be asked at booking.

Enrolling in a program gives the client weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. If the offer is a group program, Coachful creates a cohort group automatically on enrollment, with a community feed, group chat and video events. All of it sits inside a branded client home and app, using your branding inside the Coachful app.

On your side, the client record pulls it together: goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, plus a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from that live practice data to brief you before sessions, draft emails and summarize recorded sessions. Questions and planning with Michelle are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.

Selling beyond 1:1

The same Stripe connection sells courses (modules, lessons, drip, completion tracking), downloads, events and bundles, all delivered into the client's branded home. The section-based website builder includes a blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates, and booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixel and UTM tracking. Email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits follow up on leads who did not buy. For coaches holding ICF credentials, Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports a client coaching log, including paid and pro bono hours.

Pricing

Coachful sells flat monthly plans. Lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, team plans add coach seats, and monthly plans cancel in one click. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients. There is a free trial, and the 0% platform fee applies on every plan.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create > We'll build it for you · FREE, you describe what you want built, whether that is a website, a checkout funnel, an offer or sales page, a program, an email sequence or a lead quiz, and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as logos, photos, brand guides and copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. A business mentor for beauty professionals, for example, received a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Details are in our white-glove service guide.

Where Coachful is not the right fit

Coachful does not support PayPal, so if a large share of your clients insist on paying with PayPal, plan for that. It is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. There is no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no Salesforce or HubSpot integration and no multi-stage deal board for large sales teams. Its affiliate program tracks links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but payouts are recorded manually rather than sent by Coachful.

2. Systeme.io: low-cost funnels and courses with 0% transaction fees

Systeme.io homepage promoting its all-in-one funnel, email and course builder
Systeme.io's homepage in October 2026.

Systeme.io is a marketing suite rather than a coaching tool: funnels, email, courses, a community, a blog and an affiliate program. It suits coaches whose revenue comes mostly from funnels and digital products, where the Stripe connection powers checkout pages rather than 1:1 client billing.

Feature highlights

  • Funnels, email campaigns, automation rules and courses on every plan, including the free one.
  • 0% transaction fees on all plans; Stripe or PayPal processing only, as listed in October 2026.
  • A built-in affiliate program and blog.

Listed prices

As listed in October 2026: Free at $0 per month (2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course), Startup at $17 per month (5,000 contacts, 10 funnels, 5 courses), Webinar at $47 per month and Unlimited at $97 per month. The free plan never expires and no credit card is required. Its Trustpilot rating was 4.9 from 8,696 reviews when seen on 25 October 2026.

Limits to know

Our September 2026 profile notes no native 1:1 scheduling with client records, habits or check-ins, and no branded mobile app. Community and course features are basic. A coach running 1:1 or group programs would still need a booking tool and somewhere to deliver the coaching itself.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a funnel-first, product-led business with very little 1:1 coaching and want the cheapest possible start, including a free plan.

3. Stan Store: link-in-bio sales with your own Stripe

Stan Store homepage showing its link-in-bio creator storefront
Stan Store's homepage in October 2026.

Stan Store is a storefront that lives behind a social media link. Creators sell digital products, courses, memberships and paid calls from a single mobile-friendly page, with Stripe or PayPal handling the money.

Where it shines

  • Fast setup for selling a paid call or a download from Instagram or TikTok traffic.
  • Unlimited products and customers on both plans.
  • 0% Stan fee ("keep 100% of every sale"); standard Stripe or PayPal processing applies.

What it costs

As listed in October 2026: Creator at $29 per month ($25 per month billed annually) and Creator Pro at $99 per month ($79 per month billed annually). Email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates are only on Creator Pro. Its help center describes a 14-day free trial on either plan, with the first month charged when the trial ends. Trustpilot showed 4.7 from 2,205 reviews on 25 October 2026.

Gaps for coaches

Stan Store has no contracts, invoices or client records and is not a CRM. It has no programs with client tasks, habits or check-ins, and no team seats are advertised. Once a client buys a 12-week package, the coaching itself happens somewhere else.

Pick it over Coachful if your business is mainly social-media product sales and quick paid calls, and you have no need for agreements, client records or program delivery.

4. Paperbell: simple package billing for solo coaches

Paperbell homepage presenting its all-in-one admin tool for solo coaches
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

Paperbell is a direct substitute for coaching admin. It bundles booking, packages, payments, contracts, a client portal and a simple website for solo coaches, at one price per coach.

What Paperbell handles

  • Coaching packages that combine payment, booking and a contract in one checkout.
  • Unlimited clients, sessions, files, packages and traffic.
  • "No additional transaction fees", with Stripe or PayPal processor fees applying.

Price as listed

One plan at $97 per month, or $80.83 per month billed annually, as listed in October 2026. There is a "Try For Free" button and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Its help center in July 2026 described a 7-day trial during which the public site is offline and client messages and SMS are off. Trustpilot showed 3.5 from 14 reviews on 25 October 2026.

Trade-offs

Our September 2026 profile notes no courses or LMS, no community, and no goal or habit tracking. There is no native mobile app; clients use a mobile browser. Because the price is flat, it is predictable, but it is also the same at 3 clients as at 40.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell only 1:1 session packages, want PayPal alongside Stripe, and prefer the simplest admin tool even without programs, habits or a community.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

5. CoachVantage: a coaching CRM with unlimited clients per seat

CoachVantage homepage presenting its coaching practice management software
CoachVantage's homepage in October 2026.

CoachVantage focuses on practice management: CRM, scheduling, contracts with e-signature, invoices, a client portal, group programs and small courses. It is priced per coach with unlimited clients, which keeps costs flat as a solo practice grows.

Strengths

  • Unlimited contacts and engagements on both plans.
  • Contracts and e-signatures, invoices and booking pages.
  • "No commissions on the revenue you earn"; Stripe or PayPal fees apply.

Plans and prices

As listed in October 2026: Clarity at $39 per month ($35 per month annually) and Aha! at $59 per month ($53 per month annually). Clarity caps you at 2 group programs, 2 sales pages, 2 booking pages, 4 e-signatures per month, 2 contract templates and 2 courses. Aha! removes most of those caps. There is a 14-day free trial with no credit card needed.

Watch-outs

Our September 2026 profile notes no team or multi-coach features, and reviewers report that the built-in video tool (CVMeet) is weak, so many users still run calls on Zoom. Four e-signatures a month on Clarity can run out quickly in a busy enrollment month.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a CRM-style coaching back office for one coach, with PayPal as an option, and you do not need habits, check-ins, a website builder or email sequences.

6. Calendly: paid bookings and nothing more

Calendly homepage presenting its online scheduling and booking tool
Calendly's homepage in October 2026.

Calendly is a scheduling tool. With your own Stripe or PayPal connected, it can collect payment at the moment of booking, which is enough for a coach who sells single paid sessions and handles everything else elsewhere.

Good for

  • Booking pages, reminders and workflows that many clients already know.
  • Paid bookings through your own Stripe or PayPal; no Calendly fee on payments is documented.
  • A free plan with one event type and one calendar connection.

Costs

As listed in October 2026, Standard is $10 per seat per month on annual billing and Teams is $16 per seat per month on annual billing; the monthly-billing figure was not shown. Every coach on a team pays separately. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 714 reviews on 25 October 2026.

Missing pieces

Calendly has no client records, notes, programs, habits or check-ins, no contracts or invoicing, and no intake questionnaires beyond booking questions. Payment plans and subscriptions for coaching programs are outside what it does, so a retainer or instalment program needs a separate billing tool.

Pick it over Coachful if scheduling is the only gap in a stack you are otherwise happy with, and you sell one-off paid sessions rather than programs.

7. Kajabi: courses and community, with a fee on outside processors

Kajabi homepage presenting its course, community and website platform
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

Kajabi is a course, community, website, funnel and email platform for selling knowledge products. It belongs on this list because many coaches compare it, and because its fee structure shows exactly why question 2 matters.

Key features

  • Courses, communities, websites, funnels and email marketing in one product.
  • Admin seats from 2 on Basic up to 26 on Pro.
  • Kajabi Payments, its own payment product, alongside other providers.

Pricing and payment fees

As listed in October 2026: Basic at $179 per month ($143 annually), Growth at $249 per month ($199 annually) and Pro at $499 per month ($399 annually). Kajabi Payments in the US charges 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% + $0.30 on Growth and 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. If you use another provider, PayPal excepted, Kajabi adds its own fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth or 0.5% on Pro on top of that provider's fees. As an example, a coach processing $5,000 a month through an outside processor on Basic would pay an extra $100 a month to Kajabi before the provider's own fees. Trustpilot showed 3.4 from 2,347 reviews on 25 October 2026.

Why it ranks last here

For coaching specifically, Kajabi has no habit tracking or daily client check-ins; coaching is delivered as products and communities rather than per-client plans. Basic caps you at 5 products and 2,500 contacts and includes no AI credits. The extra fee on outside processors works against the whole point of bringing your own Stripe account.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a large course and community business, are comfortable with Kajabi Payments, and do not deliver individual client programs.

What does each tool cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Monthly list prices as listed in October 2026, choosing the cheapest plan that covers the client count and the basics of a coaching practice. Stripe's own processing fees apply on top in every row and are not included.

The list price is only half the comparison. Systeme.io, Stan Store and Calendly look cheapest, but none of them deliver programs, contracts or client records, so a working coaching practice adds a scheduling tool, an e-signature tool, a client app or a course host on top. Our guide to coaching software subscription costs walks through how those add-ons stack up. For the full plan list, see Coachful plans.

How do you set up Stripe payments in Coachful, step by step?

Here is a worked setup for our 15-client scenario: a monthly retainer, a 12-week program sold with an instalment option, and a group program twice a year. The prices are yours to set; the steps are what matters.

  1. Connect your Stripe account. Link your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect. Payouts follow your Stripe settings, and the payment history lives in your account.
  2. Turn on Stripe Tax if it applies to you. Whether you must collect sales tax or VAT on coaching depends on where you and your clients are. Check with an accountant before enabling it.
  3. Create the retainer as a subscription offer. Set the monthly amount, use session credits for the calls it includes, and add the coaching agreement so it is signed before the first call.
  4. Create the 12-week program with a payment plan. Offer a pay-in-full price and an instalment option. Add an order bump, such as a workbook or an extra call, if it suits your offer.
  5. Attach the delivery. Link the offer to a program with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits and morning and evening check-ins. Pick one of the 40-plus ready-to-film program templates if you are starting from scratch.
  6. Set up the group program. Enrollment automatically creates a cohort group with feed, chat and video events, so the paying client lands in the right community.
  7. Publish a checkout funnel. Use a checkout or application funnel template, or ask the white-glove team to build one, and add Meta Pixel or GA4 tracking if you advertise.
  8. Write the follow-up. Add an email sequence for leads who reached checkout but did not buy, and a welcome sequence for those who did.

What does the client experience?

The client clicks your checkout link, pays by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and receives an invoice. They sign the agreement, then open your branded app, where their coaching hub shows the next session, their program and their pre-session work. On day one, the morning check-in arrives. If they joined the group program, they are already in the cohort feed. They never create a second account or hunt for a separate booking link.

If you would rather run billing without Stripe Billing itself, our guide on managing client billing without Stripe Billing covers that route, and coaching invoice and payment software covers invoicing in more depth.

What red flags and switching costs should you watch for?

The expensive mistakes with payment software show up months later, usually when you try to leave or when a client disputes a charge. Look for these before you commit.

Payments that do not run through your account

If the platform is the processor, your payment history, saved cards and active subscriptions live with them. Moving to another tool can mean asking every subscriber to re-enter their card. With your own Stripe account, the customer records stay yours. Stripe is the processor either way; the question is whose account it is.

Percentage fees that scale with success

A 2% fee costs little in your first month and a lot in your best year. Read the transaction-fee line on every plan, and check whether the fee changes when you use an outside processor, as it does on Kajabi.

Client caps that force an upgrade mid-program

Tools priced by active clients or with caps on programs, contracts or e-signatures can push you up a tier in the middle of an enrollment. Count your clients at your busiest point, not your average.

No plan for disputes

A chargeback is easier to contest when you have a signed agreement, session records and proof of delivery in one place. A tool that stores the contract, the session history and the payment on the same client record makes that evidence easy to gather.

Ignoring tax and compliance basics

Stripe handles card security under PCI DSS, and checkouts for European cards may require strong customer authentication. In the US, payment processors may issue a Form 1099-K for card income; the IRS explains Form 1099-K and what it means for your return. Tax rules vary by country and state, so check with an accountant.

Health coaching and clinical data

Coaching is not medical treatment. If your clients share diagnoses or you work alongside clinicians, keep clinical records in a clinical system. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified, and the other tools here are coaching, marketing or scheduling products rather than clinical record systems. Refer clients to a licensed professional when symptoms or concerns fall outside coaching.

Switching costs you can reduce

Before you move, export your client list, active subscriptions and contracts. Coachful imports clients, programs and content for you during onboarding, and offers a full client data export as a ZIP if you ever leave. Our guide to contract management software covers how to move signed agreements without losing their history.

Which coaching software with Stripe should you choose?

If you sell programs, retainers or group coaching and want the payment, the agreement, the booking and the delivery under one login, choose Coachful: your own Stripe Connect account, a 0% Coachful platform fee, payment plans and subscriptions, and a branded client app that picks up the moment a client pays. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing four to six tools. Start with a free trial and ask the team to build your first checkout funnel or offer page through the free white-glove service.

Choose Systeme.io or Stan Store if you sell mainly products through funnels or social links. Choose Paperbell or CoachVantage if you want a simple 1:1 admin tool with PayPal as an option. Choose Calendly if paid booking is the only gap. Choose Kajabi only if courses and community are the business and Kajabi Payments suits you. To compare more tools side by side, see the comparison hub, our list of the best coaching software for new coaches, or the group coaching software page.

Frequently asked questions

Does Coachful use my own Stripe account?

Yes. Coachful connects to your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect, so payments, customers and payouts sit in an account you control. Razorpay is also supported. PayPal is not.

Does Coachful charge a fee on top of Stripe?

No. Since August 2026 there is a 0% Coachful platform fee on client payments, so the only fee on a payment is Stripe's or Razorpay's own processing. Your plan is a flat monthly subscription.

Can clients pay in instalments or monthly?

In Coachful, yes: payment plans, subscriptions and one-time payments all run through your connected Stripe account, along with coupons, order bumps and refunds. Of the other tools here, Stan Store sells memberships, while Calendly is built around one-off paid bookings.

Does Coachful support Apple Pay, Google Pay and Stripe Tax?

Yes, Apple Pay and Google Pay are available at checkout, and Stripe Tax can calculate tax where you have set it up. Whether you must collect sales tax or VAT on coaching varies by location, so check with an accountant.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a free build service on every plan. From Create, you describe what you want, such as a checkout funnel, an offer page, a website or a program, attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.

Which tool has the lowest cost for a coach with few clients?

Systeme.io has a free plan and Calendly has a free tier, but neither delivers programs, contracts or client records, so most coaches add other tools. Compare total stack cost, not a single subscription. The cost table above shows each tool at 5, 15 and 40 clients.

Is Kajabi a good choice if I want to use Stripe?

As listed in October 2026, Kajabi adds its own fee of 0.5% to 2% when you use a processor other than Kajabi Payments or PayPal. That works against bringing your own Stripe account. It suits course and community businesses happy to use Kajabi Payments.

Can I move my existing clients and subscriptions to new software?

Client records, programs and content can be moved; in Coachful they are imported for you during onboarding. Active card subscriptions are tied to the processor account, which is one reason to keep payments in your own Stripe account from the start. Plan the move between billing cycles.

Is coaching software with Stripe suitable for health coaches?

Yes for coaching, with care. Coaching is not medical care, and Coachful is not HIPAA-certified, so clinical records and insurance billing belong in a clinical system. Refer clients to a licensed professional when concerns go beyond coaching.
