Top 12 Membership Platforms for Dating Coaches, Ranked

Top 12 Membership Platforms for Dating Coaches, Ranked

The best membership platforms for dating coaches do one thing generic course hosts miss: they keep members practising between dates, not just watching videos about dating. A dating membership lives or dies on what happens on a Tuesday night after a bad first date, when a member wants to post a debrief, log the conversation they started at the gym, or ask whether a text reply sounds needy. So the deciding question is not "where do I host my videos?" but "where will my members do the work, and how much of their journey can I see?"

Our pick is Coachful, and we should say up front that we make Coachful. It ranks first because one login covers the whole path a dating client takes: the free application or lead magnet, checkout, the coaching agreement, a multi-week program with weekly goals, daily tasks and check-ins, a community, group calls, and 1:1 sessions for members who upgrade. The other eleven tools below are strong at parts of that path, and each entry ends with the situation where you should choose it over Coachful.

This guide starts with a five-question checklist about your practice, maps your answers to a shortlist, then reviews all twelve platforms with prices as each vendor listed them in October 2026. After that come the costs at 5, 15 and 40 members, the red flags and switching costs to check before you move anyone, a verdict and an FAQ. If you want the broader view beyond memberships, our guide to the best software for dating coaches covers booking and CRM tools too.

What does a dating coach need from a membership platform?

A dating coach needs a membership platform that combines teaching, accountability and discretion, because members learn a skill they can only practise in real life. Videos on texting or first-date conversation are the easy part. The hard part is getting a member to actually message three matches this week and report back honestly.

Dating memberships tend to share a few workflows that general membership software was not designed around:

  • Weekly "reps" and debriefs. Members set a weekly goal (start two conversations, go on one date, update the profile), then report what happened. A platform with check-ins and habits turns that into a routine instead of a forum post that gets buried.
  • Profile, photo and text reviews. Members want feedback on dating-app profiles and message threads. That is often done live in a group hot-seat call or privately with the coach, so you need group calls plus a private channel.
  • Discretion. Plenty of clients would rather a colleague never knew they hired a dating coach. Private client spaces, and a community that sits inside your own branded app rather than on a public social network, matter more here than in most niches.
  • Tiered offers. A typical ladder runs from a low-cost community, to a group program with live calls, to 1:1 coaching. Our guide to structuring a multi-tier coaching membership walks through the logic, and five membership models for coaches shows the options.
  • Social-first selling. Many dating coaches find members on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or a podcast, so a link-in-bio page, an application funnel for higher tiers, and email follow-up matter as much as the members' area.
  • Moderation and scope. Dating communities can drift into venting about exes or sharing tactics you would not endorse. You need moderation controls and clear rules about what coaching covers.

On scope: dating coaching is not therapy. When a member describes trauma, an abusive relationship, persistent depression or anxiety that disrupts daily life, the right move is to refer them to a licensed mental-health professional and say so in your membership terms. The ICF Code of Ethics is a useful reference for how coaches describe that boundary. If you are still deciding whether to offer this kind of work, read what dating coaches can and cannot fix and how to become a dating coach.

Which five questions should you answer before choosing?

Answer these five questions about your practice first; the table in the next section turns your answers into a shortlist. Write the answers down, because they also make the free trials faster to judge.

  1. What is the core of your membership: content, community, or coaching? A video library on attraction and conversation needs a different tool from a members' forum, and both differ from a group program with weekly accountability and optional 1:1 calls.
  2. Do members need structured accountability between dates? If you want weekly goals, daily tasks, morning and evening check-ins, and a way to see who has gone quiet, most community and course tools will not do it natively.
  3. Where does your audience come from? Social media points to link-in-bio and short checkout. A podcast points to private audio feeds. YouTube or SEO points to a website with funnels and email sequences.
  4. How private does the space have to be? Decide whether members will post under real names in a shared feed, whether you need separate groups (for example by cohort or by goal), and whether 1:1 notes must stay out of the community entirely.
  5. How many tools, and how much in fees, will you tolerate at 40 members? A platform that looks cheap at 5 members can cost more than an all-in-one once percentage fees and add-on tools for booking, contracts and email are counted.

1. Coachful: the membership, the program and the 1:1 work in one branded app

A phone showing a client's habit tracker and a tablet showing the client's coaching hub, resting on an armchair beside theatre tickets

Coachful is a coaching platform built for coaches who deliver programs, not just content. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login; each client gets one app carrying the coach's branding. For a dating coach, that means a member who joins a low-cost community, upgrades into a twelve-week group program and later books private sessions never has to learn a second tool or receive a second set of logins.

How the dating membership itself runs

The heart of a dating membership is the weekly loop, and that is where Coachful differs from every community or course tool on this list. You build multi-week programs with weekly goals (for example, "update your profile photos" in week one, "start five conversations" in week two), daily tasks, habits, and morning and evening check-ins. Members see goals with progress bars and streaks. A morning check-in can ask what they will try today; the evening one can ask how it went and how confident they felt. Those answers land on the client record alongside notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, and every client carries a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. In a dating membership, "quiet" is often the member who had a rough date and stopped posting, which is exactly who you want to message first.

Coachful client Programs view showing an enrolled group program with its current week and members
The demo Programs view in Coachful's client app: an enrolled group program, its current week, the members and the way into the program.

Content sits in the same place. Courses support modules, lessons, drip release and completion tracking, so a "first-date conversation" module can unlock in week three rather than all at once. Downloads, videos, books, AI tools, events and bundles are delivered into the client's branded home and app. Here is a short walkthrough of how check-ins are set up:

Community, groups and live calls without a second login

The community includes a feed, group chat, direct messages and video events. When a member enrolls in a program, a cohort group is created automatically, which suits dating coaches who run separate cohorts (say, a men's confidence group and a women's dating-after-divorce group). Group calls and webinars cover the live profile-review hot seats that dating members value most. Because 1:1 notes, check-ins and intake answers live on the client record rather than in the shared feed, private material stays between you and the member.

Selling the tiers

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax. Coachful takes a 0% platform fee, so only Stripe or Razorpay processing applies. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call. Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, time-zone detection, calendar sync with Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook, built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links, and session credits, which work well for "membership plus two private calls a month" tiers. On the marketing side, the website builder, link-in-bio page, application and lead-magnet funnels with pixels and UTM tracking, and email sequences with branching handle the social-first audience most dating coaches have. See the Coachful page for dating coaches for niche templates.

Coachful Offers page showing three live offer cards with cover photos
Coachful's Offers page with demo data: four offers, three of them live, each with a cover photo and an example price.

Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data: she can draft a program outline, write a re-engagement email to quiet members, summarize a recorded session or brief you before a call. Questions and planning are included in the membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. You can also set up an AI Coach, an AI version of you that selected clients can chat with between sessions, which could cover "is this text okay to send?" moments within the limits you set.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create > We'll build it for you · FREE, describe what you want, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, photos or existing copy, and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. That can be a website, a funnel, a sales page for your dating program, the program itself, a course outline and written material, an email sequence or a link-in-bio page. Nothing is invented: no fake testimonials, credentials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not cover recording videos, logo design or running ads. One recent build: a coach leaving Kajabi had the homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected. Read more about the free white-glove service.

Coachful Create page with the We'll build it for you card
The Create page in Coachful, where the We'll build it for you card starts a white-glove build request.

What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified and is not for clinical records or insurance billing. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan, though there is a free trial. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. It is not a course marketplace, so you bring your own audience, and the affiliate program records payouts manually rather than sending them.

Who it suits. Dating coaches who want members to practise, report back and upgrade, solo coaches growing into a small team (Studio and Agency plans add coach seats), and anyone replacing four to six tools. Price: lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited (Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients), and monthly plans cancel in one click. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.

2. Kajabi: a video-first knowledge business with a big list

Kajabi homepage promoting its platform for courses, communities and coaching products
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

Kajabi is a course, community, website, funnel and email platform for selling knowledge products. Dating coaches with a large YouTube or Instagram following often land here because it can host a deep video library ("The Texting Vault", "Confident First Dates") and send email broadcasts to thousands of contacts from the same dashboard.

As listed in October 2026, Basic costs $179/mo ($143/mo billed annually) for 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 1 website, 2 admin users and 0 AI credits. Growth is $249/mo ($199/mo annual) with 50 products, 25,000 contacts and 500 AI credits. Pro is $499/mo ($399/mo annual). Kajabi Payments in the US charges 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, slightly less on higher tiers; using another provider (other than PayPal) adds a Kajabi fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth and 0.5% on Pro. The trial runs 14 days per Kajabi's help center, with a card optional; some features such as bulk contact import stay locked until you activate a paid plan.

For a dating membership, the gap is accountability. Kajabi structures coaching as products and communities, not per-client plans, and it has no habit tracking or daily client check-ins. A coach who wants members to log their weekly "reps" ends up using community posts or a separate form tool. The 5-product cap on Basic also bites quickly when you sell a membership, a group program, two mini-courses and a profile-review add-on. Trustpilot showed 3.4 from 2,347 reviews when we looked in October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if your membership is mainly a video library sold to an established audience of thousands, you need PayPal at checkout, and you do not plan to track individual members' progress between dates.

3. Circle: a polished community for discussion-heavy memberships

Circle homepage presenting its community platform with spaces, events and courses
Circle's homepage in October 2026.

Circle's strength is the community itself: spaces, events, live streams, courses and paid memberships with a clean, modern feel. A dating coach who wants separate spaces for "Profile reviews", "Date debriefs" and "Wins" will find Circle's structure natural, and moderators can keep conversations on track.

As listed in October 2026, Circle's prices are annual-billed: Professional $89/mo (3 admins, 10 moderators, 2,500 AI credits a month), Business $199/mo and Scale $419/mo, with Circle Plus at a custom price. Circle takes a fee on payments of 2% on Professional, 1% on Business and Scale, and 0.5% on Circle Plus, plus Stripe processing. There is a 14-day free trial on the self-serve plans with no card required. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 129 reviews in October 2026.

Where it falls short for dating coaches is the back office. Circle has no 1:1 scheduling and no client management layer, so a member who upgrades to private coaching needs a separate booking tool, a contract tool, and somewhere to keep notes. There are no per-client habits, check-ins or coaching plans. Branded mobile apps are only on custom-priced Circle Plus, so members on lower plans use Circle's own app, which matters if discretion is part of your pitch. Our roundup of community platforms for dating coaches compares Circle with other community-first options in more depth.

Pick it over Coachful if the community is the product, most members never need 1:1 work, and you are happy to run booking and contracts in other tools.

4. Mighty Networks: community, courses and livestreams for larger groups

Mighty Networks homepage presenting community, courses and events in one network
Mighty Networks' homepage in October 2026.

Mighty Networks blends community, courses and events, and its livestream limits make it a fit for dating coaches who run regular live sessions to large groups. The Launch plan includes 20 hours of livestream a month for up to 100 attendees; Scale raises that to 30 hours and 200 attendees.

Listed pricing in October 2026: Launch $95/mo ($79/mo annual) with 3 hosts and 10 moderators, Scale $215/mo ($179/mo annual), Growth at $354/mo on annual billing, and custom-priced Mighty Pro. Mighty adds a platform fee on sales: 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, on top of Stripe. The trial lasts 14 days with no card required and includes Growth features. Trustpilot showed 3.3 from 219 reviews.

The limitations echo Circle's. There is no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, and no per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. Members use Mighty-branded apps unless you move to Mighty Pro. For a dating coach whose higher tiers include private calls, that means at least two extra subscriptions and two places members have to look.

Pick it over Coachful if you run frequent livestreams to hundreds of members, your offer is mostly group content and discussion, and private coaching is rare or handled elsewhere.

5. Memberful: paid podcasts and newsletters with a lean fee model

Memberful is a good match for a specific kind of dating coach: the one whose audience comes from a podcast or newsletter. Its pricing page, checked this week, lists podcasts, newsletters, communities, courses and downloads as supported content, alongside a website and newsletter builder, landing pages, custom domains, dynamic paywalls and integrations with WordPress, Mailchimp, Discord and Kit. A private "after the show" feed where you answer listener dating questions is a natural fit.

The Standard plan costs $49/month plus a 4.9% transaction fee, and Memberful says you can try it free for as long as you like, paying only once you go live and accept payments. An Enterprise tier is custom priced. A Stripe account is required. Included features cover subscriptions, one-time payments, free and paid trials, group plans, gift purchases, coupons, Apple Pay and Google Pay, global tax collection, cancellation surveys, retention discounts, a referral program and staff accounts, with unlimited members on every plan.

Look closely at the fee. At 4.9% per transaction, the percentage grows with your membership: on an example membership priced at $39/month with 40 members, that is about $76 a month to Memberful before Stripe processing. The pricing page also lists no booking, contracts, habit tracking or check-in features, so the coaching layer of a dating membership needs separate tools.

Pick it over Coachful if your membership is a paid podcast or newsletter first, you already run your community on Discord or a WordPress site, and you want to start without a monthly fee until the first sale.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

6. Practice Better: client portal and programs from the wellness world

Practice Better homepage presenting its practice management platform for practitioners
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Practice Better is practice-management software that comes from health and wellness: its own pricing page describes the Plus tier as "a more sophisticated EHR for established practices." It offers a web portal and mobile app for clients, scheduling, and programs, and it is one of the few tools here that treats each client as an individual record. Dating coaches who also hold a wellness or counselling-adjacent role sometimes find it familiar.

Prices from the pricing page, checked this week: a free Sprout plan for students and recent graduates with up to 3 clients; Starter $35/mo ($25/mo annual); Professional $69/mo ($59/mo annual) with 300 clients; Plus $99/mo ($89/mo annual) with unlimited clients; Team $155/mo ($145/mo annual) with 2 practitioner licenses and more at $50 each. The Starter card lists 10 clients while another part of the page mentions 30, so confirm the limit with Practice Better. The trial is 14 days on most plans and 30 days on Team.

The membership-relevant features are gated. Evergreen and self-paced programs, portal branding and a personalized URL sit on Plus, so a dating membership effectively starts at $99/mo. The clinical vocabulary (EHR, charting, ePrescribe and fax add-ons) also signals who the product is built for: practitioners, not coaches selling a community and course to a social audience. There is no website builder or funnel tool listed on the page.

Pick it over Coachful if you also run a licensed health or wellness practice and want one tool with clinical-style records for that work, and the dating membership is a side offer.

7. Paperbell: packages and booking with a light membership on top

Paperbell homepage with a sample packages page
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

Paperbell's homepage describes it as "the simple way to sell coaching online," with a social-friendly website that includes scheduling, payments and messaging. The sample page shown on its homepage is a list of packages, starting with a free introduction call, which tells you where its centre of gravity is: selling and booking 1:1 coaching.

Price: we could not verify Paperbell's pricing today, because its pricing page blocked our check. Rather than guess, we have marked it "not verified" in the tables; check the current price on Paperbell's own site before you compare.

For a dating coach, Paperbell suits the "free intro call, then a three-month package" model well. Where it is thinner is the membership half of a dating business. Its homepage pitch centres on packages, booking and payments rather than weekly programs with habits and check-ins, a community feed with cohort groups, or email sequences with branching, so a coach building a community tier or a group program would need to check what Paperbell supports today and may add other tools. If most of your revenue is 1:1 and the membership is a small extra, that may not matter.

Pick it over Coachful if nearly all your income is 1:1 packages, you want the simplest possible booking-and-payment page, and you do not plan to run a community or structured group program.

8. MemberSpace: a members' area added to the website you already have

MemberSpace works differently from everything else here: it adds memberships to an existing site rather than replacing it. Its pricing page, checked this week, lists dedicated integrations for Squarespace, Wix and Showit, and promises to migrate your free and paid members at no charge. For a dating coach who spent months on a Showit site and does not want to rebuild it, that is the appeal.

Starter is $39/mo, or $24/mo billed annually, with a 5% MemberSpace fee on every sale, 5 member spaces and 1 website connection. Growth is listed at $99/mo billed annually with a 2% fee and unlimited spaces. Stripe processing comes on top of those fees. Both plans include unlimited members and tiers, and a 7-day free trial; the first payment after the trial carries a 30-day money-back guarantee. The page also mentions a members' community where people can post and comment without leaving your website, plus content library features like bookmarks and search.

The constraint is that MemberSpace gates content; it does not run coaching. Nothing on the pricing page covers booking, contracts, check-ins, habits or client records, and your site builder still handles design and marketing. The 5% Starter fee also adds up: on an example $39/month membership with 40 members, that is $78 a month to MemberSpace before Stripe.

Pick it over Coachful if you are committed to your current Squarespace, Wix or Showit site, your membership is a content library with light discussion, and you are comfortable paying a percentage of sales.

9. Podia: an uncomplicated storefront for courses and downloads

Podia homepage presenting its storefront for courses, downloads and community
Podia's homepage in October 2026.

Podia keeps things simple. A dating coach can sell a "Dating Profile Makeover" mini-course, a downloadable message-opener guide, a webinar replay, coaching sessions and a community from one storefront without learning much.

As listed in October 2026: Mover $49/mo ($42/mo annual) with 50 products and a 5% Podia transaction fee; Shaker $99/mo ($84/mo annual) with 150 products and 0% fee; Earthquaker $179/mo ($150/mo annual) with unlimited products. Stripe or PayPal processing applies on top. The 14-day trial gives full access with no card. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 153 reviews.

Two limits matter for dating memberships. The included email subscriber allowances are small: 100 on Mover, 500 on Shaker and 1,000 on Earthquaker, which a coach with a social following can outgrow quickly. And there are no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans, so the weekly debrief loop has to live in community posts. An older profile also notes no mobile app and no native video calls, so check current details if your members mostly use phones, as dating-app users usually do.

Pick it over Coachful if you mainly sell a handful of digital products and a light community, want PayPal at checkout, and prefer the simplest possible setup over member accountability.

10. Skool: gamified community with a classroom attached

Skool homepage presenting its community, classroom and calendar groups
Skool's homepage in October 2026.

Skool puts a community, a classroom and a calendar in one group, with leaderboards and levels that reward participation. Some dating coaches use that gamification to encourage members to post their weekly wins, which can create momentum in a large free or low-cost group.

Pricing as listed in October 2026: Hobby $9/mo ($7.50/mo annual) with a 10% + 30¢ fee on all transactions; Pro $99/mo ($82.50/mo annual) with 2.9% + 30¢ up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900. Payments go only through Skool Payments, and fees are non-refundable. The trial length and card requirement were not stated on the pricing page when checked. Trustpilot showed 1.6 from 54 reviews.

Skool is also thin on everything around the community. There is no custom-domain website, no funnels, no email automation and no public API, and no 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits or check-ins. Leaderboards also cut both ways in this niche: publicly ranking members on activity can feel uncomfortable when the topic is their love life. And the Hobby fee is steep; on an example $39/month membership with 40 members, 10% is $156 a month before the 30¢ per transaction.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a no-cost or very cheap community to build an audience, your members enjoy public leaderboards, and you plan to sell coaching elsewhere later.

11. Stan Store: selling from the link in your bio

Stan Store homepage presenting its link-in-bio storefront for creators
Stan Store's homepage in October 2026.

Stan Store is a link-in-bio storefront for digital products, courses, memberships and paid calls. Dating coaches who grow on TikTok or Instagram like it because a follower can tap the bio link and buy a guide or book a call in a couple of taps.

Creator costs $29/mo ($25/mo annual) and Creator Pro $99/mo ($79/mo annual), both with unlimited products and customers and 0% Stan fee; Stripe or PayPal processing applies. There is a 14-day trial, and the first month is charged when it ends. Email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates sit only on Creator Pro. Trustpilot showed 4.7 from 2,205 reviews in October 2026.

Stan is a storefront, not a delivery platform. It has no contracts, invoices or client records, no programs with tasks, habits or check-ins, and no advertised team seats. For a dating coach, the first month is easy; the problem arrives when the membership grows and you need to know which members are stuck, run cohorts, and upgrade people into higher tiers. Many coaches pair Stan with a separate delivery tool, which is the stack Coachful's own link-in-bio page and funnels are meant to replace.

Pick it over Coachful if you are early, sell mostly low-ticket digital products to a social audience, and want PayPal and the shortest checkout before you invest in delivery.

12. Thinkific: course infrastructure for a scaling education business

Thinkific homepage presenting its platform for courses and learning communities
Thinkific's homepage in October 2026.

Thinkific is a course platform with communities, memberships and coaching or webinar products added on. Dating coaches who think of their business as an academy, with many courses and thousands of students, will appreciate its course depth.

Listed pricing in October 2026: Start $109/mo ($82/mo annual) with up to 10,000 current students, 2 admins and 1 community; Grow $219/mo ($164/mo annual); Expand $499/mo ($374/mo annual); Plus at a custom price. Thinkific charges 0% transaction fee on Thinkific Payments, which it describes as in line with other processors at 2.9%; third-party gateways carry an extra fee not listed on the page. Prices rose about 10% on August 13, 2026. A 30-day free trial is offered on self-serve plans. Trustpilot showed 1.8 from 868 reviews.

For a dating membership, coaching is the weak side. An older profile notes no built-in 1:1 scheduling, so coaching relies on external booking links, and there are no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans. A branded mobile app is a $199/mo add-on, which matters if discretion and a phone-first experience are part of your offer. Our list of course platforms for dating coaches covers Thinkific's course features in more detail.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a large course catalogue with thousands of students and need course-specific tooling more than 1:1 delivery.

What will each platform cost at 5, 15 and 40 members?

At 40 members, platform percentage fees often matter more than the subscription. The table shows the plan you would most likely need for a dating membership at each size, using prices as listed in October 2026 (monthly billing unless noted). Payment processing by Stripe or similar applies everywhere and is not included.

Here is how the fees play out in an example. Say your membership costs $39/month (an illustrative figure, not a recommended rate). At 40 members you collect $1,560 a month. A 2% fee takes $31.20, a 4.9% fee takes $76.44, a 5% fee takes $78, and a 10% fee takes $156, every month, before processing. Then add what the community and course tools leave out: a booking tool, an e-signature tool and an email platform for your higher tiers. That stack is the real comparison against a flat subscription. For more on fees, see our guide to payment platforms for coaches.

What red flags and switching costs should dating coaches check?

The biggest switching cost is your members' habits: every time you move platforms, some people never log in again. So check these before you commit, not after.

  • Percentage fees that scale with success. A fee that looks trivial at 5 members can cost more than the subscription at 40. Run the example math above with your own price.
  • Payment lock-in. Skool processes payments only through Skool Payments. If subscriptions do not live in your own Stripe account, moving members later may mean asking each one to re-subscribe.
  • Branded app only on enterprise plans. Circle and Mighty Networks reserve their own branded apps for custom-priced tiers. If discretion is part of your promise, check what icon sits on your members' phones.
  • Accountability bolted on. If check-ins and debriefs live in a form tool or spreadsheet, you will stop reading them by week six. Ask how you will see which member went quiet.
  • Public leaderboards and real names. Gamification can backfire in a dating community. Check whether members can use a display name and whether activity rankings can be hidden.
  • Product and contact caps. Kajabi Basic stops at 5 products and 2,500 contacts; Podia includes only 100 to 1,000 email subscribers. A dating coach with a viral video can pass those quickly.
  • Data export. Confirm you can export members, notes and check-in history. Coachful exports a full ZIP with the roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions and form responses, plus course export.
  • Pause and cancellation policy. Dating members often pause when they start seeing someone. Decide your rules early with our guide to fair membership pause policies.

When you do move, follow a staged plan: build the new space, migrate content, invite a pilot cohort, then move billing last. Our guide on switching coaching platforms without disrupting clients covers the sequence. On Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.

Which membership platform should a dating coach choose?

Choose Coachful if your membership is meant to change how members date, not just what they know. It is the only platform on this list that documents all of these together: a branded client app, weekly programs with habits and check-ins, a community with automatic cohort groups, booking, contracts, payments with a 0% platform fee, and a website with funnels and email, under one login. The free white-glove build removes most of the setup work.

The alternatives make sense in narrower cases. Kajabi suits a video-library business with a big list. Circle and Mighty Networks are better communities if coaching is rare. Memberful fits a podcast-led audience, MemberSpace a coach who will not leave Squarespace, Wix or Showit, and Stan Store or Skool a coach still building an audience. Practice Better and Paperbell suit practices built mainly around 1:1 or clinical-style work. For the general picture across niches, see our membership platforms for coaches comparison, and if you also coach couples, the list of membership platforms for relationship coaches.

To start, open a free trial, then use the white-glove request to have your dating program, sales page or application funnel built inside your account.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best membership platform for dating coaches?

Coachful is our pick for dating coaches who want members to practise between dates, because it combines programs with weekly goals, habits and check-ins, a community, booking and payments in one branded app. If your membership is purely a video library, Kajabi is a strong alternative; if it is purely discussion, look at Circle or Mighty Networks.

Can I run a membership and 1:1 dating coaching on the same platform?

Yes, on platforms built for coaching. In Coachful, the same client record holds a member's program progress, check-ins, sessions and payments, and session credits let you sell "membership plus private calls" tiers. Community and course tools such as Circle, Skool or Thinkific usually need a separate booking and contract tool for 1:1 work.

How do I keep a dating membership private for members?

Use a platform where 1:1 notes and check-ins live on the client's own record, not in a shared feed, and let members choose how much they post publicly. Separate cohort groups help too. Also check whether members use your branded app or a third-party app, since that is what appears on their phone.

What does Coachful's free white-glove service include?

On every plan, the Coachful team builds what you describe inside your own account, such as a website, a funnel, a sales page, a program, a course outline and written material, or an email sequence, usually within about 24 hours. You can attach up to 8 links and 10 files. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management, and nothing is invented, such as testimonials or prices.

Are percentage transaction fees a problem for small dating memberships?

They matter more as you grow. On an example $39/month membership with 40 members, a 5% fee costs $78 a month and a 10% fee costs $156 a month, before processing. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee, so only Stripe or Razorpay processing applies.

Should a dating coach start with a free community on Skool?

A free Skool group can build an audience cheaply, but the Hobby plan takes 10% + 30¢ of every sale and payments run only through Skool Payments. Plan where paid members and 1:1 clients will go before the group grows, so you do not have to move everyone later.

Does Coachful support PayPal or a permanent no-cost plan?

No. Coachful takes payments through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, and it has a free trial rather than a permanent free plan. If PayPal at checkout is essential, Kajabi, Podia and Stan Store support it.

Is dating coaching the same as therapy?

No. Dating coaching focuses on skills, confidence and action; it is not treatment for mental-health conditions. If a member describes trauma, abuse, or depression or anxiety that disrupts daily life, refer them to a licensed mental-health professional and state that boundary in your membership terms.

How long does it take to move my members to a new platform?

It depends on how much content and how many members you have, and on whether subscriptions sit in your own Stripe account. Build and test first, invite a pilot group, then move billing last. On Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.
