Top 10 Membership Platforms for Relationship Coaches in 2026

Top 10 Membership Platforms for Relationship Coaches in 2026

The best membership platforms for relationship coaches do one thing most membership tools skip: they keep a couple (or a single client working on their love life) practising between calls, not just watching videos. Course-and-community tools are good at hosting content and conversation. Relationship work, though, lives in the week between sessions: the Sunday check-in, the repair conversation after an argument, the date night that actually happened. So the deciding question is whether you need a content library with a forum, or a place where each client's practice, payments, agreements and group are tied together.

Our pick is Coachful, because it puts booking, coaching agreements, payments, multi-week programs with daily check-ins and habits, courses and a community behind one login, with one branded app for your clients. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and check every claim below against what each vendor documents. Nine other platforms follow, ranked for relationship, dating and divorce coaches, with the prices each vendor listed in October 2026 and an honest line on when each one beats our product.

This is the relationship-coach version of our broader guide to the best membership platforms for coaches. If you are still choosing your core coaching tool rather than a membership layer, start with the best coaching software for relationship coaches.

What do relationship coaches actually need from a membership platform?

They need private, per-client practice inside a shared group, plus clean handling of two people who may be on different pages. A generic membership is one login, one content library and one feed. A relationship membership usually has a few extra moving parts that change which software fits.

  • Two people, one engagement. Couples coaching means two clients, often with different time zones, schedules and levels of buy-in. You need each partner to have their own check-ins, so one partner's honest Tuesday reflection is not automatically visible to the other. Most coaches enroll each partner as their own client and put both in the same program group. On any platform that caps clients, budget for two slots per couple.
  • A maintenance tier after the intensive. Many relationship coaches sell a 6 to 12 week couples program, then offer a monthly membership so the gains hold: a weekly prompt, a monthly group call, a library of exercises. Our guide to structuring a multi-tier coaching membership covers how to price the step down.
  • Structured practice between calls. The exercises that move relationships are small and repeated: a weekly relationship check-in (see our 30-minute check-in agenda template), appreciation habits, a conflict debrief, a planned date. Software that can schedule these as daily tasks and reflections does more for retention than another video module.
  • Sensitive conversations that do not belong in a public feed. Singles in a dating membership may happily share wins in a community. Couples in crisis rarely will. You want both a group space and private direct messages, with a clear rule about what goes where.
  • Agreements before the first call. A coaching agreement that states scope, confidentiality, how you handle one partner contacting you alone, and the pause policy protects everyone. Our post on membership pause rules has wording for the breakup-mid-membership case.
  • A clear scope line. Relationship coaching is not couples therapy. If a client discloses abuse, coercive control, active addiction, suicidal thoughts or a mental health crisis, the right move is to pause coaching and refer to a licensed therapist or the appropriate crisis service. Our article on relationship coaching red flags walks through those suitability decisions, and what relationship coaching is sets out the boundary for clients.

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

Which five questions should you answer before you pick?

Answer these five about your own practice, write the answers down, then use the table in the next section to match them to a platform. It takes ten minutes and saves a migration later.

  1. Who is in your membership: couples, singles, or both? Couples need private per-person check-ins and two client slots. A singles or dating membership leans more on community, live calls and content.
  2. Is the membership your main product, or the bridge after 1:1 or couples work? If it is the bridge, your platform must also handle booking, agreements and session payments, or you will run two systems and copy clients between them.
  3. What should happen between sessions? Write down the exact weekly rhythm: a Sunday check-in, three appreciation notes, one date. If the answer is "they watch a lesson," a course tool is enough. If it is daily practice, you need tasks, habits and check-ins.
  4. How many active clients will you have in 12 months: about 5, 15 or 40? Some tools cap clients by plan, others cap contacts or products, others take a percentage of every sale. The cheapest tool at 5 clients is rarely the cheapest at 40.
  5. How many tools are you paying for now, and will you need a new website? Count your scheduler, contract tool, payment links, email tool, course host and community. Then ask who will rebuild your site and sales pages, and how many evenings that takes.

Which platform matches your answers?

Find the row that sounds most like your answers. Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery for couples and individuals, total stack cost, and setup effort including Coachful's free white-glove build.

PlatformIf your answers sound like thisEntry price as listed (October 2026)
CoachfulCouples and singles; membership plus 1:1 work; daily practice between sessions; replacing four or more toolsLite: $29/month for up to 5 clients

How did we rank these ten platforms?

We ranked on what a relationship coach's membership has to carry, using only what each vendor publishes and what public reviewers report. We did not run hands-on tests of every tool, and we say so wherever a fact could not be confirmed.

  • One login for the whole journey. Can a couple go from booking a discovery call to signing an agreement, paying, joining a program and posting in the group without a second account?
  • Between-session delivery. Per-client tasks, habits and check-ins, not only shared lessons.
  • Total stack cost. Plan price plus platform fees plus the tools you would still need to add (scheduler, contracts, email, website).
  • Setup effort. How long before you can sell, and whether someone will build the site and program for you.
  • Fit for couples work. Privacy between partners, private messages next to a group, and a clear position on sensitive data.

Vendor prices come from each vendor's own pricing page as listed in October 2026. Practice Better's pricing page was checked on October 25, 2026. Paperbell's pricing page blocked our request on that date, so its price is the figure last verified on October 17, 2026.

1. Coachful: best overall for couples programs that keep working between sessions

Coachful is a coaching platform where the membership, the 1:1 or couples sessions, the agreement, the payment and the daily practice all sit in one account, and clients get one branded app. For a relationship coach that means the couple you met on a discovery call can sign, pay, start week one of your program and join your group without you copying their details anywhere.

Coachful's client journey view on a tablet and its check-in flow library on a laptop, both with demo data.

Programs built for practice, not just content. You build multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. A couples program might set "Sunday: 30-minute relationship check-in" as a weekly task, "one specific appreciation" as a daily habit, and an evening reflection prompt after any conflict. Each partner, enrolled as their own client, gets their own check-ins, so reflections stay individual. We do not list a shared "couple" login among Coachful's features, so plan on one client record per partner.

The membership layer. Courses with modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking, plus downloads, videos, books, AI tools, events and bundles, all delivered into the client's branded home and app. The community includes a feed, group chat, direct messages and video events, and a cohort group is created automatically when someone enrolls in a program. That suits the classic relationship-coach model: a cohort for this quarter's couples intensive, then a wider maintenance community for alumni. Group calls and webinars run from the same place, which helps if your monthly Q&A is the anchor of the membership. More on that in our group coaching software overview.

The admin you would otherwise bolt on. Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Intake questions run on booking, so you can ask both partners what they want from coaching before the first call. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with one-time charges, subscriptions, payment plans, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026, so only Stripe or Razorpay processing applies.

Seeing who is drifting. Every client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. In couples work, a partner going quiet is often the first signal, and you see it before the next session rather than in it. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, briefs you before sessions from live practice data, summarizes recorded sessions and drafts emails and program content; questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership, while confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. You can also configure an AI Coach, an AI version of you that selected clients can chat with between sessions.

This short walkthrough shows how morning and evening check-ins are set up:

Selling it. A section-based website builder with blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates sits alongside booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels, plus email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with branching. A free "five conversations to have before you move in together" guide can feed an email sequence that ends in a discovery call booking, all inside one account. Our guide to writing a relationship coach website people book covers the copy.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you" and describe what you want: a website, a funnel, a couples program, a course outline, an email sequence, an intake form. Attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, photos, brand guide or existing copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours, and nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. In recent anonymized builds, a somatic coach leaving Kajabi had the homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected, and a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more about the white-glove build service.

The Create page in Coachful with the We'll build it for you card that starts a white-glove build request.

What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing; if you are a licensed therapist billing insurance, use a clinical system. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan. Your client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. It is not a course marketplace, and there are no third-party plugins.

Who it is for, and how to start. Coachful suits relationship, dating and divorce coaches who deliver programs rather than single sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team (team plans add coach seats), and anyone replacing four to six tools. Plans are flat and monthly, lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and monthly plans cancel in one click (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Start with a free trial, request a white-glove build, and your clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. Coachful holds a Trustpilot rating of 4.5 from 21 reviews. 2. Kajabi: the premium pick for a course-led relationship brand

Kajabi suits the relationship coach whose business is mostly content: a signature course on rebuilding trust, a podcast, a large email list and a paid community on top. It bundles courses, community, website, funnels and email marketing, so a coach with an audience can run launches without stitching tools together.

Kajabi homepage promoting its course, community and website platform for knowledge businesses
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Basic costs $179/mo ($143/mo billed annually) for 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 1 website, 2 admin users and 0 AI credits. Growth is $249/mo ($199/mo annual) for 50 products, 25,000 contacts and 500 AI credits. Pro is $499/mo ($399/mo annual) for unlimited products, 100,000 contacts and 3 communities. The standard trial is 14 days; a card is optional, but if you enter one Kajabi places an authorization hold, and some features such as bulk contact import stay locked until you activate a paid plan.

Fees deserve a look. Through Kajabi Payments in the US, processing is 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, falling to 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. Use another processor (PayPal excluded) and Kajabi adds its own 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth or 0.5% on Pro on top of the provider's fee.

Where it falls short for this niche: coaching in Kajabi is products and communities, not per-client plans. There is no habit tracking and no daily client check-ins, so the weekly couples practice lives in a lesson or a PDF rather than a tracked task. The 5-product cap on Basic fills fast if you sell a couples course, a singles course, a membership, a workshop and a 1:1 package. Kajabi's Trustpilot rating was 3.4 from 2,347 reviews when we checked in October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if you already have an audience of thousands, your income is mainly courses and launches rather than ongoing couples work, and you value Kajabi's marketing depth over per-client practice tracking.

3. Circle: for a discussion-first community of couples or singles

Circle is the strongest pure community tool on this list, and it is a good home for a relationship membership where the conversation itself is the value. Think of a dating-confidence group where members post date debriefs, or an alumni circle for couples who finished your intensive.

Circle homepage presenting its community platform with courses, events and paid memberships
Circle's homepage in October 2026.

Circle combines community spaces with courses, events, live streams and paid memberships. As listed in October 2026, Professional is $89/mo billed annually with 3 admins, 10 moderators and 2,500 AI credits a month; Business is $199/mo annual and Scale $419/mo annual. Monthly prices were not shown on the page. There is a 14-day free trial on Professional, Business and Scale with no credit card required.

Circle takes a fee on payments: 2% on Professional, 1% on Business and Scale, and 0.5% on custom-priced Circle Plus, all on top of Stripe processing. Branded mobile apps are only on Circle Plus, so on standard plans your members use Circle's own app.

For relationship coaches the gap is the back office. Circle has no 1:1 scheduling and no client management, and no per-client habits, check-ins or coaching plans. If your membership is the step after private couples sessions, those sessions, agreements and session payments will live in other tools, and you will match each couple across two or three systems by hand. Its Trustpilot rating was 4.1 from 129 reviews in October 2026. Our roundup of community platforms for relationship coaches compares it with other community-only options.

Pick it over Coachful if your membership is a large, discussion-led community with many moderators, you do little or no private coaching, and you want Circle's depth of community controls.

4. Mighty Networks: community plus frequent live events

Mighty Networks fits a relationship coach whose membership revolves around live sessions: a weekly "ask me anything about dating," monthly couples workshops, and a feed between them. It packages community, courses and events, with members on Mighty-branded apps.

Mighty Networks homepage presenting its community, courses and events platform
Mighty Networks's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Launch costs $95/mo ($79/mo annual) with 3 hosts, 10 moderators, 200 GB storage and 20 hours of livestreaming a month for up to 100 attendees. Scale is $215/mo ($179/mo annual) with 30 livestream hours for 200 attendees. Growth is $354/mo on annual billing. Your own branded apps are only on custom-priced Mighty Pro. The trial runs 14 days, needs no credit card, and includes Growth plan features.

Mighty adds a platform fee of 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, plus Stripe processing. On a membership that grows, that percentage becomes a real line item.

The limits for this niche mirror Circle's. There is no 1:1 scheduling, no invoicing and no contracts, and no per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. A couple in your community cannot have their own tracked weekly exercise; they can only follow the shared program everyone sees. Mighty's Trustpilot rating was 3.3 from 219 reviews in October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if livestreamed group events are the heart of your membership, you rarely work 1:1, and you want a separate app experience centred on the community rather than on each client's plan.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

Build your platform

5. Practice Better: when you sit close to clinical practice

Practice Better is a practice management system built for health practitioners, and it shows up here because some relationship coaches work inside or alongside clinical teams. It describes itself as an all-in-one EHR, and its pricing page lists HIPAA, PIPEDA and GDPR compliance.

Practice Better homepage presenting its practice management platform for health practitioners
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Its pricing page, checked on October 25, 2026, lists four paid plans billed monthly. Starter is $35/mo ($25/mo annual) for 1 practitioner and 10 clients. Professional is $69/mo ($59/mo annual) for 300 clients, adding group scheduling, group messaging and fixed-date programs. Plus is $99/mo ($89/mo annual) for unlimited clients, adding evergreen and self-paced programs, portal branding and 750 SMS reminders a month. Team is $155/mo ($145/mo annual) for 2 practitioners. A free Sprout plan covers 3 clients. The Team plan has a 30-day trial and the other paid plans 14 days.

For relationship coaching, the useful parts are telehealth video, secure messaging, a client portal and mobile app, journals, and programs and courses. An evergreen maintenance membership, the most common relationship format, needs Plus, because evergreen and self-paced programs start there. Payments run through Practice Better Payments, powered by Stripe; the pricing page does not list a separate platform fee.

The trade-off is fit. Much of the product (charting, ePrescribe, insurance billing, food journals, wearable syncs) serves nutritionists, dietitians and clinicians, not coaches. There is no public website builder or funnel tooling in its plan list, so your marketing still lives elsewhere.

Pick it over Coachful if you need a system that lists HIPAA compliance because you work alongside licensed clinicians or handle health information, and you accept a clinical-style interface and a separate website.

6. Paperbell: simple packages for 1:1-heavy relationship coaches

Paperbell is the "just let me sell my coaching" option. It combines a coaching website, scheduling, contracts, payments and a client portal behind one flat price, which suits a relationship coach who mostly sells 1:1 or couples packages and wants a light recurring offer on the side.

Paperbell homepage presenting its coaching website, scheduling and payments tool
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

Pricing is a single tier. Paperbell's pricing page blocked our request on October 25, 2026, so we cannot confirm today's figure; when last verified on October 17, 2026 it listed $97/mo or $970/year per coach, with unlimited clients and sessions and no platform transaction fee beyond Stripe or PayPal processing. Check the current price before you decide. Its materials describe a free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee on paid plans.

For couples work, Paperbell does several things well: e-signature contracts tied to package purchase, intake forms, booking with time-zone detection and reminders, and payments with subscriptions, payment plans and coupons, including PayPal. Content can be delivered inside packages.

The membership side is thin. There is no community, no habit tracking or daily check-ins, no full course system and no native mobile app, and each account has one coach. Its own FAQ states it is not HIPAA compliant. Public reviewers on Capterra and Trustpilot praise its simplicity, and some say they outgrew it once they wanted courses or a group. Its Trustpilot score was 3.9 from 13 reviews when last checked.

Pick it over Coachful if you run only 1:1 and couples packages, want PayPal at checkout, and do not plan a community, a course or tracked daily practice.

7. Podia: an affordable storefront with a small community

Podia is a simple storefront for courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and community. A relationship coach launching a first digital product, say a self-paced "fighting fair" course with a members' space, can be selling within an afternoon.

Podia homepage presenting its storefront for courses, downloads and community
Podia's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Mover is $49/mo ($42/mo annual) with 50 products, 25 community spaces and 100 email subscribers included, and Podia takes 5% of sales on that plan. Shaker is $99/mo ($84/mo annual) with 150 products, 500 email subscribers and no Podia fee. Earthquaker is $179/mo ($150/mo annual) with unlimited products and 1,000 email subscribers. The trial runs 14 days with full access and no card or plan selection.

The email allowance is the catch for this niche. Relationship coaches often grow through a free guide or quiz, and 100 or 500 subscribers fill quickly. Older profile data also notes no mobile app and no native video calls, so your monthly couples call runs on another tool. Like the community tools, Podia has no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans. Its Trustpilot rating was 4.1 from 153 reviews in October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if you want the simplest possible store for a first course and small community, have a tiny email list, and are not yet running ongoing client programs.

8. Thinkific: a course academy that can carry a membership

Thinkific is a course platform first, with communities, memberships and coaching or webinar products added. It fits a relationship educator who plans a library of self-paced courses (pre-marriage, co-parenting, dating after divorce) and many students rather than a handful of high-touch couples.

Thinkific homepage presenting its online course and community platform
Thinkific's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Start is $109/mo ($82/mo annual) for up to 10,000 current students, 2 admins, 1 community with 10 spaces, 5 live community events and a maximum group size of 50. Grow is $219/mo ($164/mo annual) and Expand $499/mo ($374/mo annual). Prices rose about 10% on August 13, 2026. A 30-day free trial applies to every self-serve plan, and the branded mobile app is a $199/mo add-on.

Thinkific charges no transaction fee when you use Thinkific Payments. Third-party Stripe or PayPal gateways carry an extra per-plan gateway fee that the page does not quantify.

For relationship coaches, the gaps are around the person, not the content. There is no built-in 1:1 scheduling (older profile data says coaching relies on external booking links) and no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans. Its Trustpilot rating was 1.8 from 868 reviews in October 2026, a signal worth reading through before you commit. Our course platforms for relationship coaches roundup goes deeper on course-first options.

Pick it over Coachful if you are building a large self-paced course catalogue for thousands of students and private coaching is a small side offer.

9. Stan Store: selling from a social bio link

Stan Store is a link-in-bio storefront for digital products, courses, memberships and paid calls. Dating coaches who grow on short-form video often start here because a follower can buy a guide or book a call without leaving their phone.

Stan Store homepage presenting its link-in-bio storefront for creators
Stan Store's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Creator is $29/mo ($25/mo annual) with unlimited products and customers in one store, and Creator Pro is $99/mo ($79/mo annual). Stan takes 0% of sales; standard Stripe or PayPal processing applies. There is a 14-day free trial on either plan, after which the first month is charged. Its Trustpilot rating was 4.7 from 2,205 reviews in October 2026, the highest count on this list.

Read the plan split carefully. Email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates are only on Creator Pro, so a coach who wants a nurture sequence after a free "first date confidence" guide needs the higher plan.

For relationship coaches running real memberships, Stan stops early. There are no contracts, invoices or client records, it is not a CRM, and there are no programs with client tasks, habits or check-ins. No team seats are advertised. It works well as a front door; the coaching itself needs another home.

Pick it over Coachful if your audience lives on social media, you sell low-ticket guides and paid calls rather than programs, and a single bio-link store is all you need for now.

10. Skool: the low-cost gamified group

Skool puts a community, a classroom and a calendar in one group, with leaderboards that reward participation. A singles membership built around weekly challenges ("start one conversation this week") can work well here, and the entry price is the lowest on the list.

Skool homepage presenting its community, classroom and calendar groups
Skool's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Hobby is $9/mo ($7.50/mo annual) and Pro $99/mo ($82.50/mo annual), both with unlimited members, courses, videos and live calls. The fees are where the cost sits: Hobby charges 10% + 30¢ on every transaction, and Pro charges 2.9% + 30¢ on payments up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900. Payments run only through Skool Payments, with weekly payouts. Trial length and card terms were not stated on the pricing page when we checked.

For relationship coaching, Skool has clear limits: no custom-domain website, funnels or email automation, no public API, and no 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits or check-ins. A couple's private work has nowhere to go except direct messages. Its Trustpilot rating was 1.6 from 54 reviews in October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a cheap, game-like community for singles, your members are happy to live inside Skool's interface, and you do not need private couples work, contracts or your own website.

How do the ten compare feature by feature?

The pattern is clear: community and course tools cover the group, coaching tools cover the person, and only a few cover both. "Not listed" means the vendor material we checked does not mention it.

What does each platform cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

At 5 clients the cheap tools look cheap; at 40, platform fees and add-ons close the gap. The table shows the lowest listed monthly plan that fits each client count, with notes on what you would still need to add. Remember that a couple enrolled as two clients counts twice on any plan with a client cap.

An illustrative example of how fees add up: on every $1,000 of membership sales, a 2% platform fee is $20, Podia's 5% on Mover is $50, and Skool's 10% on Hobby is $100 before the 30¢ per transaction. Those sit on top of the plan price and, in most cases, card processing. If you add a scheduler, an e-signature tool and an email platform to a community-only tool, list each one's real price before you compare totals. Our payment platforms for coaches guide breaks down processing costs.

What red flags and switching costs should relationship coaches watch for?

The expensive mistakes are the ones you only notice after 30 couples are inside the wrong tool. Check these before you sign up.

  • Percentage fees that grow with you. A 2% or 10% cut is small at launch and large once your maintenance membership has a few dozen couples paying every month. Model the fee at your 12-month target, not today.
  • Client caps that count partners separately. Ask how each plan counts a couple. If both partners need their own login and check-ins, assume two slots.
  • Private reflections in a public space. If the only place a member can write is the community feed, couples will either overshare or say nothing. Look for private check-ins and direct messages next to the group.
  • Health data in a coaching tool. If you collect clinical history or work under a therapist's supervision, you may need a HIPAA-compliant system with a BAA. Coaching platforms like ours are not built for that, and you should check with an attorney if you are unsure what your work requires.
  • No way out. Before you commit, find the export. Can you get client notes, check-ins and session history out, or only a contact list? Coachful exports a full ZIP of roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions and form responses, plus course exports.
  • Rebuild time. Moving platforms means rebuilding your site, sales pages, program and email sequences. Count the evenings, or use a provider that does the rebuild for you. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during Coachful onboarding.
  • Locked trial features. Some trials restrict bulk import or test emails until you pay, so you cannot test your real migration. Read the trial terms first.

Ending well matters too. If a couple separates mid-membership, your agreement and platform should let you close one or both memberships cleanly; see our protocol for ending a coaching relationship.

What is our verdict on membership platforms for relationship coaches?

For most relationship, dating and divorce coaches, Coachful is the best fit, because the work you sell happens between sessions and Coachful is built to track it per client while also running the group, the courses, the agreement and the payment. It removes the scheduler, contract tool, course host and community you would otherwise pay for separately, and the free white-glove build takes the setup off your evenings.

Choose Kajabi if you are a content brand with a big list. Choose Circle or Mighty Networks if the community is the whole product and you rarely coach privately. Choose Practice Better if you need a HIPAA-listed system next to clinicians. Choose Paperbell if you only sell 1:1 packages. Podia, Thinkific, Stan Store and Skool each make sense for a narrower job: a first course, a large course catalogue, a social storefront, or a cheap singles group. Frequently asked questions

What is the best membership platform for relationship coaches?

For most relationship coaches we recommend Coachful, because it combines a membership (courses, community, cohort groups) with per-client programs, daily check-ins, booking, agreements and payments in one login. If your membership is purely a community with no private coaching, Circle or Mighty Networks are strong alternatives. If it is mainly courses for a large audience, look at Kajabi.

How do I handle couples on a membership platform?

Most coaches enroll each partner as their own client so each has private check-ins and reflections, then add both to the same program or group. Agree in writing what is shared between partners and what stays private, including how you handle one partner messaging you alone. On platforms that cap clients, plan for two slots per couple.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

From Create, you choose "We'll build it for you" and describe what you want built, such as a website, funnel, couples program, course outline or email sequence, attaching up to 8 links and 10 files. The Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours, without inventing credentials, testimonials or prices. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ongoing marketing.

Is a membership right for my relationship coaching practice?

A membership works best as a maintenance step after a couples intensive or as a lower-priced group for singles, where weekly prompts and a monthly call keep progress going. It works less well as a replacement for private work with couples in active conflict. Our guide to coaching membership models compares five options.

Do I need a HIPAA-compliant platform as a relationship coach?

Coaching is not therapy, and many coaches do not handle protected health information. If you work under a clinical practice, receive health records, or are a licensed therapist billing insurance, you likely need a HIPAA-compliant system with a BAA, such as one that lists HIPAA compliance on its pricing page. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified. Check with an attorney if you are unsure which rules apply to you.

Can I run live group calls for my membership?

Yes, on most of these tools. Coachful runs group calls, webinars and video events alongside the community, Circle and Mighty Networks offer live streams and events, and Skool includes live calls on both plans. Podia and Thinkific rely more on webinar products or outside video tools.

Which platform is cheapest for a new relationship coach?

By sticker price, Skool's Hobby plan and Stan Store's Creator plan are the lowest, and Practice Better has a free plan for 3 clients. Once you add percentage fees, a scheduler, a contract tool and email, the total often rises past an all-in-one plan. Use the 5, 15 and 40 client table above with your own numbers.

Can I move my existing clients and content into Coachful?

Yes. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and the white-glove build can recreate your website, funnels or program inside your account. If you ever leave, you can export a full ZIP of your client data and your courses.

Does Coachful work for dating and divorce coaches too?

Yes. The same programs, check-ins, community and booking tools apply, whether you run a dating-confidence group or a divorce recovery program. See the pages for dating coaches and divorce coaches for templates and examples.
