Best App for Stress Management Coaches: 7 Options Ranked

The best app for stress management coaches is the one your clients will actually open on a bad Tuesday: a two-minute morning check-in, a breathing habit with a visible streak, the next lesson, and a way to message you without digging through email. Stress coaching works between sessions, so the deciding question is simple. Which app puts the daily practice, the program and the conversation with you in one place on your client's phone, and connects to the back office you already run?
Our pick is Coachful's client app. Clients install it on iPhone or Android, sign in, and see your branding, your program, their habits and check-ins, your community and their sessions inside the Coachful app. The same account runs your booking, payments, agreements and website, so nothing has to be copied between tools. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read the six alternatives below with their real limits and prices as listed in October 2026.

This article is about the app your clients hold. If you are choosing the whole back office (booking, invoicing, contracts, website), start with our guide to the best software for stress management coaches and come back here for the client side.
What do stress management clients actually do in an app each week?
They repeat small practices and report how they feel. Stress coaching is mostly rehearsal: noticing triggers, practising a regulation skill, protecting sleep, and reviewing what changed. An app earns its place when it makes those reps quick and visible to the coach.
A typical week for a client in a 12-week stress program looks like this:
- Daily, under five minutes: a morning check-in (sleep, energy, stress level, one intention) and an evening check-in (what triggered stress, what helped). Ticking off one or two habits such as a breathing practice, a walk or a screen cut-off.
- Two or three times a week: a short lesson or audio practice from the program, often a technique from your mindfulness exercises for stress library.
- Weekly: a reflection on the week's goal, a message to the coach, maybe a post in a cohort group, and a live session or group call.
- When things go sideways: a quick message, a reminder of the plan, or a resource they can open in thirty seconds.
That pattern rules out a lot of software. A pure community app has no private check-ins. A scheduling portal has no habits. A fitness app may have habits but wraps them in workouts that a stressed executive will never log. The ranking below follows the client's week, not the coach's admin.
Which app fits your practice? Answer these five questions first
Five answers decide most of this. Write yours down before reading the reviews.
- Do you deliver a structured program (weeks, lessons, daily practices) or mostly open-ended 1:1 sessions? Programs need habits, check-ins and drip lessons in the app. Session-only coaching needs booking and notes more than daily tools.
- Do your clients need private daily check-ins, or is a shared group feed enough? Stress check-ins are often personal. Community apps rarely offer a private daily log per client.
- Do you run cohorts or a membership community? If peer support is the product, the community features carry more weight.
- How many active clients will you have in a year: about 5, 15 or 40? Some apps charge per client, others a flat fee plus a share of sales. The cost table further down shows how this plays out.
- Do you want the client app connected to booking, payments and agreements, or are you happy to run two or three logins? Every extra login is a place a stressed client can get lost.
How do your answers map to a pick?
| Pick | If your answers look like this | Why it fits |
|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Structured program, private daily check-ins, some group work, one login wanted | Habits, morning and evening check-ins, lessons, community and sessions sit in one branded client app on iPhone and Android, connected to booking and payments |
| Mighty Networks | Community-first membership, group courses, private check-ins not needed | Member apps built around feeds, courses and live events |
| Everfit | Program built on daily habits and movement, mostly 1:1 | Habit, workout and nutrition tracking with messaging, priced by client count |
| Practice Better | Wellness practice with intake, charting and telehealth, a few programs | Practice management with a client portal and programs |
| CoachAccountable | Session-led 1:1 work with action plans and metrics, browser use is fine | Detailed accountability tools, but no native mobile app |
| Circle | Paid community with courses and events, larger audience | Community platform with courses and a member app |
| ABC Trainerize | Stress work tied closely to exercise and nutrition habits | Fitness client app with habits and messaging |
How did we rank these apps?
We ranked on the client's between-session experience first, then on what it costs and takes to run. We did not run hands-on tests; each entry reflects what the vendor documents and what public reviewers report, as listed in October 2026.
The criteria, in order of weight:
- Daily practice tools: habits, streaks, morning and evening check-ins, goals with visible progress.
- Program and lesson access: can a client open this week's lesson and today's task from the same home screen?
- Messaging and community: direct messages with the coach, plus groups for cohorts.
- Reminders and progress tracking: nudges that arrive at the right moment and progress the client can see.
- Branding and availability: how much the app feels like your practice, and whether it runs on iPhone and Android.
- Back office connection: one login for the whole client journey, total stack cost, and setup effort.
Criteria in one line: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost and setup effort (including Coachful's free white-glove build).
At a glance
| App | Best for | Native client app | Daily check-ins and habits | Starting price |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| Mighty Networks | Community and group courses | Mighty-branded member apps; own branded apps on Mighty Pro | No per-client habits or check-ins | $95/mo ($79/mo annual) plus 2% platform fee |
| Everfit | Habit and movement-led programs | Fitness coaching app | Habits yes; built around fitness | $0 for up to 5 clients; Pro from $19/mo |
| Practice Better | Wellness practices with charting | Client portal; see notes | Programs; evergreen programs start on Plus | $0 for 3 clients; Starter $35/mo |
| CoachAccountable | Session-led accountability | No native mobile app | Action plans and metrics | $20/mo for 2 active clients |
| Circle | Larger paid communities | Branded mobile apps on custom-priced Circle Plus | No per-client habits or check-ins | $89/mo billed annually plus 2% fee |
| ABC Trainerize | Exercise-linked stress work | Fitness client app | Habits yes; built around training | $0 for 1 client; Pro (5 clients) $25/mo |
Two tools you might expect here are missing for a reason. Paperbell and Satori are capable admin tools for solo coaches, but neither has a native mobile app according to their older profiles, so clients use a mobile browser. They belong in a back office comparison, not a client app ranking.
1. Coachful: is it the best app for stress management coaches?

For coaches who run structured stress programs, yes. Coachful's client app gives each client one home for daily habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars, program lessons, community and sessions, on iPhone and Android, under your branding inside the Coachful app. The coach side runs from the same account, so the check-in a client logs at 7am is on their client record before your 10am session.
What your client sees each morning
A client opens the app and lands on their coaching hub: the next session, any pre-session item you require, and tabs for Programs, Sessions, Progress and Documents. From there they answer a morning check-in you designed, tick the day's habits and see the streak grow. In the evening, a second check-in asks what triggered stress and what helped. These are coaching flows you build once from a library of Welcome, Daily, Weekly and Journey flows and then attach to a program.

Goals tie the pieces together. A goal's Daily momentum section pulls in the tasks and habits linked to it, with daily and weekly reflection tabs underneath, so a client working on "sleep before 11pm" sees the habit, today's task and their reflection side by side.

Programs, lessons and the resources between them
Multi-week programs carry weekly goals, daily tasks, habits and check-ins. Alongside them, you can deliver courses with modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking, plus downloads, videos, audio, books and AI tools, all in the client's branded home and app. For a stress program that might mean a week-one lesson on the stress response, a downloadable trigger log, and a guided breathing audio that unlocks in week two. If you want a head start, Coachful includes more than 40 ready-to-film program templates and 48 course templates with quizzes.

Here is a short walkthrough of how check-ins are set up and what clients answer:
Messaging, cohorts and the AI Coach
Clients get direct messages with you, a community feed, group chat and video events. When a client enrols in a group program, a cohort group is created automatically, which suits an eight-week stress resilience cohort where peers share what worked. If you want clients to have support between sessions, the AI Coach is an AI version of you that selected clients can chat with; you configure what it does. Treat it as a practice companion, not a crisis line, and say so in your onboarding.

What you see as the coach
Each client record shows goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, plus a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. For stress work, the "quiet" and "at risk" flags are useful: a client who stops checking in is often the one having the hardest week. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, briefs you before sessions from live practice data and can summarize recorded sessions. Reminders go out by email, and by SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) once messaging is enabled.
The rest of the business sits in the same login: booking pages with two-way Google, Apple and Outlook calendar sync, built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links, payments through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with a 0% Coachful platform fee, coaching agreements with e-signature before the first call, and a website with funnels and email sequences. See Coachful for health coaches and for mindset coaches for niche setups.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create > We'll build it for you, you describe what you need (a stress program, a seven-day reset funnel, a website, an email sequence, a check-in flow) and attach up to 8 reference links and 10 files. The Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management. One recent build: a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing got a five-page site in sage and cream with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation. Read more about the free white-glove service.

Where Coachful falls short
- The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account.
- Not HIPAA-certified and no BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing.
- No Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available. If you coach heart rate variability from wearables, clients will report numbers manually.
- No PayPal and no permanent free plan; there is a free trial.
Price: flat monthly plans, with lower plans capping client numbers and Pro unlimited (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Coachful holds a Trustpilot rating of 4.5 from 21 reviews.
2. Mighty Networks: is a community app enough for stress clients?
It is enough when peer support is the product. Mighty Networks combines community, courses and live events, and members use Mighty-branded apps on their phones. It fits a stress coach running a paid membership or a large group course where members share wins and attend live sessions.

The client experience. Members open a feed, join live streams and work through courses. The Launch plan includes 20 hours of livestreaming a month for up to 100 attendees, which covers a weekly group breathwork or Q&A session. What the client does not get is a private daily log: Mighty Networks has no per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. A member who wants to report "slept five hours, stress 8 out of 10" has to post it in a group or message you.
The back office gap. There is no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, so 1:1 clients need a second tool. Your own branded apps are only on custom-priced Mighty Pro.
Cost, as listed in October 2026. Launch is $95/mo ($79/mo billed annually) with 3 hosts and 200 GB storage; Scale is $215/mo ($179/mo annually). Mighty also takes a platform fee on sales: 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, on top of Stripe processing. There is a 14-day trial with no card required. On Trustpilot it shows 3.3 from 219 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if your stress offer is a large community membership, members do not need private daily check-ins, and you are content running 1:1 booking elsewhere.
3. Everfit: does a habit-first fitness app suit stress coaching?
Partly. Everfit is a fitness coaching app with workouts, habits, nutrition and messaging, priced by client count. Its habit tracking and messaging translate well to stress work; its workout-first design suits coaches whose method leans on movement and sleep.

Think of it as a training app that happens to handle habits well. A client can log a daily walk, a breathing habit and water intake and message you from the same screen. The trade-off is the frame: the app is built around workouts and nutrition, so a client who only needs a journaling prompt and a stress score will see features meant for lifters.
Several things a stress coach might want sit outside the base plan. Automation (Autoflow), payments and meal plans are paid add-ons. There is no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing, so lessons and marketing live in other tools.
On price, as listed in October 2026, Starter is free for up to 5 clients. Pro scales by client count: $19/mo for 5 clients, $29/mo for 10, $49/mo for 20 and $95/mo for 50 (lower if billed annually). Studio starts at $105/mo for 50 clients. A 30-day trial needs no card. Its Trustpilot rating is 2.7 from 16 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if your stress coaching is built on exercise programming and want Everfit's no-cost Starter tier for your first five clients, accepting separate tools for courses, payments and marketing.
4. Practice Better: the right app for a wellness practice with charting?
For practitioners who chart, often yes. Practice Better is practice management for wellness and nutrition practitioners: scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing, programs and a client portal. A stress coach who works alongside nutrition or works within a multi-practitioner wellness clinic will find the clinical-style record keeping familiar.

What the client gets: a portal where they book, attend telehealth sessions, complete forms and follow programs. We cover the client side in more detail in our Practice Better app article. The catch for a program-led stress coach is plan gating: evergreen programs, portal branding, custom URL and SMS start on the Plus plan at $99/mo. Below Team, one practitioner per account.
Gaps compared with an all-in-one coaching app: no website builder or funnel pages according to an older profile, and community features are not its focus.
Prices as listed in October 2026: Sprout is free for 3 clients; Starter $35/mo ($25/mo annual) for 10 clients; Professional $69/mo ($59/mo annual) for 300 clients; Plus $99/mo ($89/mo annual) unlimited; Team $155/mo ($145/mo annual) for 2 practitioners. Trials run 30 days on Team and 14 days on other paid plans. Trustpilot shows 3.8 from 87 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if you need charting and telehealth in a wellness practice and your stress clients mainly book, attend and complete forms rather than log daily check-ins.
5. CoachAccountable: strong accountability tools, but where is the app?
There is no native mobile app, according to its older profile, so clients use a mobile browser. That matters more for stress clients than most: a daily practice that needs a browser bookmark gets skipped. Inside the browser, though, CoachAccountable is a deep back office: sessions, action plans, metrics, worksheets, courses, invoicing and agreements.

Who it suits
Session-led executive stress coaches whose clients sit at a desk, and who want detailed action plans and numeric metrics such as a weekly stress score. Public reviewers rate it well: 4.8 on Trustpilot from 47 reviews, as listed in October 2026.
The limits
No landing pages, website or marketing automation (older profile), and by its own statement it is not HIPAA compliant. Pricing is per active client, which climbs quickly for group programs: Starter $20/mo for 2 active clients, Level 1 $40/mo for 5, Level 2 $70/mo for 10, Level 3 $120/mo for 20, Level 4 $250/mo for 50 and Level 5 $400/mo for 100. A 30-day trial needs no card. Coaches comparing options can browse our CoachAccountable alternatives.
Pick it over Coachful if your clients are happy working in a browser, you want granular metrics and action plans, and your roster stays small enough for per-client pricing to make sense.
6. Circle: a good home for a stress community, less so for 1:1 clients?
That sums it up. Circle is a community platform with courses, events, live streams and paid memberships. Branded mobile apps are reserved for custom-priced Circle Plus, so check how members reach the community on lower plans before you commit.

Circle shines when you run a larger audience: themed spaces for sleep, workload and parenting stress, a course library and recurring live events. It falls down on private coaching. There is no 1:1 scheduling or client management back office, and no per-client habits, check-ins or coaching plans. A client in a private 1:1 stress program would need a second tool for sessions and daily tracking.
Pricing as listed in October 2026 is shown on annual billing: Professional $89/mo, Business $199/mo and Scale $419/mo, with Circle Plus custom. Circle takes a fee on payments of 2% on Professional, 1% on Business and Scale, and 0.5% on Circle Plus, plus Stripe processing. A 14-day trial needs no card. Trustpilot shows 4.1 from 129 reviews. For a wider look at group tools, see our community platform for coaches page.
Pick it over Coachful if your business is a large paid community and you want granular spaces and moderators more than private check-ins or booking.
7. ABC Trainerize: when does a personal-training app make sense?
When stress work and physical training are the same program. ABC Trainerize is a fitness and personal-training app with workouts, habits, nutrition tracking and messaging, priced by client seats. Coaches who blend stress reduction with exercise, for example a trainer offering a burnout recovery block, may already know it.

Clients log workouts and habits and message the coach in one app. Beyond that, the base plans are thin for a stress program: scheduling, selling products, payments, video and advanced nutrition are separate paid add-ons below Studio, and there is no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing. An older profile notes client data export is incomplete (no messages, photos or attachments), which matters if you ever switch.
As listed in October 2026: Basic is free for 1 client, Grow $10/mo for 2 clients, and Pro (5 clients) $25/mo, with Pro tiers at 15, 30, 50, 75, 100 and 200 clients. The prices of the larger Pro tiers were not in our listing, so check the vendor's page before budgeting. Studio Plus is $275/mo for 500 or more clients. The 30-day trial includes unlimited clients with no card. Trustpilot shows 3.1 from 100 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if your stress clients are mostly training clients and you want a workout-first app, with add-ons for scheduling and payments.
How do the client apps compare feature by feature?
Coachful is the only app in this list that covers every row for a private stress program. The others cover community or fitness well and leave gaps in daily check-ins or the back office.
| App | Habits and check-ins | Program and lessons | Messaging | Community | Reminders | Branding | Back office connected |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Habits, streaks, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars | Programs, courses with drip, downloads, audio, videos | Direct messages, group chat | Feed, cohort groups, video events | Email; SMS and WhatsApp once messaging is enabled | Coach's branding inside the Coachful app | Booking, payments, agreements, website, email |
| Mighty Networks | No per-client habits or check-ins | Courses | Yes | Core feature | Not in our listing | Own apps on Mighty Pro only | No 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts |
| Everfit | Habits; fitness framing | Workouts, no course builder | Yes | Not in our listing | Not in our listing | Not in our listing | Payments and automation are add-ons |
| Practice Better | Programs; evergreen on Plus | Programs | Portal | Not its focus | SMS on Plus | Portal branding on Plus | Scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing |
| CoachAccountable | Action plans, metrics | Courses, worksheets | Browser | Not in our listing | Not in our listing | No native app | Sessions, invoicing, agreements |
| Circle | No per-client habits or check-ins | Courses | Yes | Core feature | Not in our listing | Branded apps on Circle Plus | No 1:1 scheduling or client back office |
| ABC Trainerize | Habits; training framing | Workouts, no course builder | Yes | Not in our listing | Not in our listing | Not in our listing | Scheduling and payments are add-ons |

What does a week look like for a client using Coachful's app?
Here is an illustrative example, not a real client. Maya is a project manager in week four of an eight-week stress resilience program built on practical resilience interventions.

Monday, 7:10am. Maya opens the app. Her hub shows Thursday's session and a required pre-session reflection. She answers the morning check-in in under a minute: six hours of sleep, stress 6 out of 10, intention "take a real lunch break". She ticks her four-minute breathing habit; the streak moves to 12 days.

Monday, 12:30pm. This week's lesson unlocked overnight: a ten-minute audio on reframing deadline pressure, with a downloadable worksheet. She listens on a walk.
Wednesday, 9pm. The evening check-in asks what triggered stress today. She writes "late scope change from a client" and "box breathing before replying helped". In the cohort group, another member shares a script for pushing back on scope, and Maya saves it.
Thursday, 8:45am. Her coach opens Maya's client record. Michelle's briefing summarizes the week: check-ins every day, stress trending down from 7 to 6, one missed habit day, and the scope change trigger mentioned twice. The 9am session starts from that, not from "so, how was your week?"
Sunday. Maya completes the weekly goal reflection. Her goal's progress bar moves. Everything she did lived in one app, under her coach's branding.
What will each app cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?
Flat-fee apps get cheaper per client as you grow; per-client apps get more expensive. These figures use list prices as of October 2026 and exclude payment processing. They are examples to help you budget, not quotes.
| App | 5 clients | 15 clients | 40 clients | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Booking, payments, website and email included in your Coachful membership; 0% platform fee |
| Mighty Networks | $95/mo (Launch) | $95/mo | $95/mo | Plus 2% of sales on Launch; 1:1 booking needs another tool |
| Everfit | $0 (Starter) or $19/mo (Pro) | $49/mo (20-client tier) | $95/mo (50-client tier) | Payments, Autoflow and meal plans cost extra |
| Practice Better | $35/mo (Starter); $99/mo for Plus features | $69/mo (Professional); $99/mo for Plus | $69/mo; $99/mo for Plus | Evergreen programs and SMS start on Plus |
| CoachAccountable | $40/mo (Level 1) | $120/mo (Level 3) | $250/mo (Level 4) | Counts active clients; no native app |
| Circle | $89/mo (annual) | $89/mo | $89/mo | Plus 2% payment fee; no 1:1 tools |
| ABC Trainerize | $25/mo (Pro, 5 clients) | 15-client Pro tier; price not verified | 50-client Pro tier; price not verified | Scheduling and payments are add-ons |
Remember to add the tools you would still need. A community app plus a scheduler plus an email tool can cost more than one platform that covers all three, and it adds logins for your clients.
What red flags and switching costs should you watch for?
Most regret comes from choosing an app for the coach's convenience and discovering clients do not use it. Watch for these:
- No native app. Browser-only portals lose daily users. Ask whether the client app is on both iPhone and Android before you sign up.
- Check-ins only in a public feed. Stress clients rarely post "I cried in the car park" in a group. Make sure there is a private check-in the coach can read.
- Features locked behind higher tiers. Branding, SMS, evergreen programs and payments sit on upper plans or add-ons in several tools above. Price the plan you will actually need.
- Per-client pricing for group programs. A 30-person cohort can push a per-client app into its top tiers quickly.
- Platform fees on sales. A 2% fee on a $10,000 year of program sales is $200, every year, on top of processing.
- Incomplete exports. If messages, photos or attachments cannot be exported, switching later means losing history. Coachful exports a full ZIP of roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions and form responses.
- Treating an app as a crisis service. No coaching app replaces emergency support. Build a referral path into your onboarding (see the scope section below).
Switching costs are mostly time: rebuilding programs, re-inviting clients and teaching them a new app. Coachful imports clients, programs and content for you during onboarding, and the white-glove team can build the program itself. For a broader view, our guide to client check-in apps for coaches covers check-in design in more depth.
Where does stress coaching end and treatment begin?
Coaching is not treatment. A stress management coach helps clients build skills, routines and plans for everyday stress; it does not diagnose or treat anxiety disorders, depression, trauma or other conditions. The National Institute of Mental Health's fact sheet on stress lists signs that stress needs professional help, such as feeling unable to cope or using substances to manage it.
Refer to a licensed mental health professional or the client's doctor when symptoms persist for weeks, interfere with work or relationships, or include panic attacks, self-harm or thoughts of suicide. In the United States, clients in crisis can call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Put this referral line in your welcome flow and your coaching agreement. Our guide to how stress management coaching works covers scope in more detail, and if you are just starting out, read how to start a stress management coaching business.
Which app should you choose?
Choose Coachful if you run structured stress programs and want your clients to have one app for check-ins, habits, lessons, messages, community and sessions, connected to your booking, payments and agreements. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, solo coaches growing into a small team, and coaches replacing four to six tools. It is not for clinical record-keeping, it does not sync wearables, and the app is your branding inside Coachful rather than your own App Store listing.
Choose Mighty Networks or Circle if a large community is the product and private check-ins are not. Choose Everfit or ABC Trainerize if your method is built on exercise. Choose Practice Better if you chart and run telehealth in a wellness clinic, and CoachAccountable if your clients are happy in a browser and you want detailed metrics.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best app for stress management coaches?
For coaches who run structured programs, Coachful's client app is our pick because it combines daily check-ins, habits, lessons, messaging, community and sessions in one app on iPhone and Android. Community-led coaches may prefer Mighty Networks or Circle, and exercise-led coaches may prefer Everfit or ABC Trainerize.
Can clients download Coachful's app on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Clients install the Coachful app on iPhone or Android and see your branding, program and content inside it. It ships under the Coachful listing, not under your own App Store account.
Does Coachful sync with Apple Health, Oura or other wearables?
No. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available. Clients can record sleep or stress readings manually in a check-in.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a free build service on every plan. You describe what you want, such as a stress program, a funnel, a website or an email sequence, and attach references; the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management.
Is Coachful HIPAA compliant?
No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not suitable for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. It is GDPR-ready and built for coaching, not treatment.
Which apps on this list have no native mobile app?
CoachAccountable has no native mobile app according to its older profile. Paperbell and Satori, which we left out of the ranking, are also browser-only for clients per their older profiles.
Should stress check-ins be private or shared in a group?
Private by default. Clients are more honest about triggers and low days when only the coach reads the answer, and a group feed can carry the wins and shared tips. Coachful supports both: private check-ins on the client record and cohort groups for peers.
Can an AI chat replace sessions between appointments?
No. Coachful's AI Coach lets selected clients chat with an AI version of you that you configure, which can help with practice reminders and reflection. It is not a crisis service, so keep a clear referral path to licensed professionals and emergency lines.
How much does a stress coaching app cost?
It depends on how the vendor charges. Flat-fee platforms cost the same at 5 or 40 clients, while per-client apps rise with your roster; see the cost table above for examples at 5, 15 and 40 clients, and add any extra tools you would still need.
Do I need a separate website and booking tool?
With most apps on this list, yes. Coachful includes booking, payments, agreements, a website builder with funnels, and email in your Coachful membership, so clients book, pay and practise in one account.
