What do you get when you turn the feed on?
Your clients get a community hub with channels down the side, posts in the middle and chat attached. Everything is scoped to your organization, so members only see what they have access to. You manage all of it from Feed settings.

Who can see each channel?
Every channel carries its own audience rule. Open a channel to everyone, or restrict it to named people, to members enrolled in specific programs, or to people who hold a specific resource. Coaches and moderators always see everything.

Can I charge for a community channel?
Yes. Any custom channel can carry a paywall with a one-time price, a monthly price, or both. Locked channels stay visible with their own sales page, and payment runs through Stripe on your connected account at a 0% platform fee.

How do members end up in the right group?
Automatically, based on what they are enrolled in. When a client joins a group program, Coachful puts them into a cohort squad, filling an existing squad that still has room and creating a new one when they are full.

Can I go live to the community?
Coaches and staff start a live session from the feed in either livestream or interactive room format, and choose whether it reaches the whole community or one program. A live banner appears at the top of the feed for everyone who can join.

How do you keep it healthy?
Members report a post with a reason, and reports land in a moderation view for coaches with a review status. You can hide a post from the feed without deleting it, and you decide who gets notified about each post before it publishes.

What it does not do

- The community is not public. Members sign in to reach the feed, so posts are not a public forum indexed by search engines.
- Posts publish when you create them. There is no scheduling of community posts for a future date.
- Feed search matches post text rather than running a full search index across every attachment.
- Standalone squads no longer exist. A squad is either a program cohort squad or a one-to-one client community squad.
