Search for a coaching CRM and you get two different products wearing the same label. One is a small-business CRM (HoneyBook, Dubsado, Bonsai) that handles inquiry, proposal, contract, invoice and a scheduler, and stops at the first session. The other is a coaching platform (Coachful, CoachAccountable, Simply.Coach) that keeps the client record but also holds their program, their habits and what they wrote in Tuesday's check-in.

The right one depends on what happens after the invoice clears. If your delivery is a Zoom call and a Google Doc, an admin CRM is enough and cheaper. If clients get homework, streaks and a cohort, the admin CRM becomes one of five tabs, and your clients still text you on WhatsApp because the portal has nothing in it worth opening.

Coaches should read the fine print. Starter at $36/mo has no scheduler, no automations and no team members; Essentials is $59/mo and Premium $129/mo. HoneyBook is the payment processor (cards from 2.7% plus 10 cents) so your own Stripe account is not an option, and prices went up roughly 89% in February 2025.
