For the admin side, yes. Dubsado Premier at $55/mo ($43.75 annual) gives unlimited clients, contracts with e-signature, proposals, invoices with autopay payment plans, questionnaires, a rebuilt scheduler and Flows for automation. It has nothing for delivery: no programs, habits, check-ins, courses, community or group cohorts. Coaches who need those either add a second platform or move to one built for coaching, like Coachful.
Dubsado is $35/mo Starter ($27.92 annual) without a scheduler or automations, and $55/mo Premier ($43.75 annual) with both, 3 users included. Prices rose on 1 December 2025 for new subscribers only. Coachful is from $29/mo for Lite (5 clients, every feature), $49/mo for Solo (up to 20 clients), and $99/mo for unlimited Pro, with scheduling on every plan.
Only on Premier at $55/mo. The Dubsado 3.0 rebuild in November 2025 gave it recurring availability, one-off slots and two-way Google Calendar and Outlook / Microsoft 365 sync, with Zoom or Meet links via settings. Starter has no scheduler at all. Coachful includes booking pages, buffers, time-zone detection, paid sessions and built-in video on every plan, including Lite.
Coachful, by a wide margin. Steep learning curve and time-consuming setup are Dubsado's most consistent complaints (Capterra 4.2 from 61 reviews), and Dubsado sells Certified Specialists to help. Coachful's onboarding includes white-glove import of clients, programs and content, and Michelle, the AI assistant, can build a program draft, write your emails and brief you before sessions.
No. Dubsado's scheduler is 1:1 appointments and there is no group program object, cohort or community. Coachful creates a cohort group automatically when clients enroll in a program, with group calls, webinars, a community feed and group chat, and tracks each member's tasks and habits inside the cohort. Group coaches on Dubsado usually add Circle or Skool for this.
Contacts export to CSV with selectable fields, and invoices and bookkeeping export too, but forms, Flows and templates are not portable, which is where reviewers say the real lock-in sits. Coachful exports a full client data ZIP (roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions, form responses), a course export and an org backup JSON, on monthly plans with one-click cancel.
