Workplace Coaching Platform: 8 Best Options for 2026

A workplace coaching platform does one of two quite different jobs, and the first decision is which one you need. Some platforms are coaching providers: a company signs a contract, and the vendor supplies the coaches, matches them to employees and reports results to HR. Others are software: a coach, a coaching firm or an internal coaching team brings its own coaches and runs the workplace program on a platform it controls.
This guide covers both, side by side. Coachful ranks first for the second group, coaches and internal teams running workplace programs themselves, because team seats, sponsor billing, group cohorts, private notes and ICF hour tracking sit in one account; its team will also build the program and onboarding for you at no extra cost. For companies that need a vendor to supply the coaches, BetterUp, CoachHub, EZRA and Torch are the serious options, and we describe each one fairly from what they publish.
Two kinds of workplace coaching platform
| Enterprise coaching provider | Coaching software for coaches and internal teams | |
|---|---|---|
| Who supplies the coaches | The vendor's network | You, your firm or your internal coaches |
| Who matches coach and employee | The vendor | You |
| How it is priced | An enterprise contract, usually per participant or program | A software subscription |
| Reporting to HR | Built in, often with vendor research on outcomes | Whatever you configure and share |
| Whose brand the employee sees | The vendor's | Yours, or your firm's |
| Best for | Large companies coaching many employees across countries | Coaching firms with corporate clients, independent executive coaches, internal coaching teams |
If you are an HR or L&D leader, start with the providers. If you are a coach who has just won a company contract, or you run coaching inside an organization with coaches you already have, start with the software. Many coaches use both: they join a provider's network for some work and run their own corporate clients on their own platform.
How to tell which one you need
- Do you already have the coaches? If not, you need a provider. Software does not come with coaches.
- How many languages and countries? A global rollout in dozens of languages is a provider's strength. A program for one leadership team is not.
- Who should own the relationship and the data? With software, the coaching records sit in your account and can be exported. With a provider, they sit in the vendor's.
- Is AI coaching for the whole workforce part of the brief? Several providers now sell AI coaching at scale alongside human coaches.
- What is the budget shape? An enterprise contract for a defined cohort, or a monthly subscription the coaching firm pays and rebills.
The best workplace coaching platforms at a glance
How we ranked them: first by who runs the program (the platform that lets a coach or internal team run a workplace program end to end leads), then for providers by breadth of coaching supply, AI and measurement as published on their own websites.

How we chose these workplace coaching platforms
We included the four providers coaches and HR teams name most often when workplace coaching comes up, and the coaching software we see used most for corporate engagements. Provider facts come from their own websites; outcome figures they publish come from their own studies, so we mention them as vendor-reported rather than repeat them as fact. Software prices and ratings come from our October 2026 pricing records. Coachful is our product, which is why it is described in the most detail.
1. Coachful: best for coaches and internal teams running workplace programs
Coachful is coaching software, so you bring the coaches. What it gives a workplace program is the structure around them: who coaches whom, who pays, what each employee works on between sessions and what the sponsor sees.

What a workplace program needs, and where it lives
- A team of coaches. Team plans include three or six coach seats. Each member gets a coach or virtual assistant role with per-person permissions, and a coach can be limited to their assigned clients. Multi-coach session types can assign bookings by round-robin, least busy or the employee's choice.
- Sponsors. A sponsor can be added to a client's record to receive the invoices or sign the agreement, which is how employer-paid coaching usually works. See how to set up billing for company-funded coaching.
- Cohorts. Enrolling a group of managers in a program creates a cohort group with a feed, group chat and group calls, while each person keeps their own goals, habits and check-ins.
- Confidentiality. Private notes are visible only to the coach; shared notes appear in the employee's own My Coaching hub. Health statuses and tags stay on the coaching side.
- Evidence of progress. Goals with progress, weekly reflections, outcome scorecards with a baseline and a target, and a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk for every participant.
- Coach development. Completed sessions count toward ICF ACC, PCC and MCC hours, with group time counted once, and coaches can export a client coaching log.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. Every plan includes a build service at no extra cost. Describe the workplace program from Create > We'll build it for you (the cohort, the weeks, the intake questions, the welcome emails) and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. A recent request from a leadership coach produced a clean, mobile-friendly homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button, built while the coach's old site renewal was days away. See what the white-glove service includes.

Limitations: Coachful does not supply coaches, offer single sign-on or connect to HR systems, and it does not integrate with Salesforce or HubSpot. It is not HIPAA certified. Sponsor reporting is what you share from client records rather than a packaged HR dashboard. Seats are on team plans; check the plans shown to you. Executive coaches can see the niche setup at Coachful for executive coaches.
2. BetterUp: best for enterprise-wide human and AI coaching

According to its website in October 2026, BetterUp sells what it calls a Human Transformation Platform that combines human coaching, AI coaching and measurement for enterprises and government. It is organized into products for different audiences: BetterUp Lead for senior talent, BetterUp Manage for people managers, BetterUp Grow for AI coaching across the whole workforce, and BetterUp Ready for resilience during change, with performance analytics that tie the program to measures such as manager effectiveness and attrition.
Where it fits: large organizations that want one vendor for leaders, managers and everyone else, with measurement HR can present to executives. BetterUp publishes ROI and retention figures from its own studies. Where it does not: a coaching firm that wants to run its own coaches, or a ten-person leadership pilot.
3. CoachHub: best for global rollouts in many languages

CoachHub describes itself as a digital coaching platform with more than 3,500 certified coaches, each with at least 500 coaching hours, working in over 80 languages across more than 90 countries. AIMY is its AI coach, including role-play with video avatars, and hybrid programs combine AI coaching with a small number of live sessions for first-time managers. CoachHub Collective covers group coaching for cross-functional teams, and CoachHub Insights tracks engagement and behavior change.
Where it fits: multinational programs where language coverage and consistent matching matter most. Where it does not: anyone who wants their own coaches and brand in front of employees.
4. EZRA: best for structured leader coaching programs

EZRA presents itself as an enterprise coaching platform built to scale. Its EZRA Edge program runs for six months, with three, nine and twelve-month options, and includes unlimited one-to-one coaching, tailored programs and manager engagement. The site cites a network of more than 2,000 accredited ICF coaches, and EZRA Measure assessments track individual and organizational progress. Solutions cover leadership coaching, management coaching, talent acceleration and change.
Where it fits: companies that want a defined program for mid to senior leaders with clear start and end dates. Where it does not: very small teams or organizations that already employ coaches.
5. Torch: best for leadership coaching with mentoring

Torch focuses on leadership coaching delivered individually and at scale, matched in tiers from emerging leaders through directors to executives. It adds group and team coaching, change coaching, sponsored mentoring and Spark AI, a voice-based role-play tool for practicing hard conversations between sessions, which grades the leader's performance.
Where it fits: organizations that want coaching and mentoring under one program. Where it does not: anyone looking for software to run their own practice.
6. Simply.Coach: best software for firms reporting to sponsors

Simply.Coach is the coaching software most built around corporate engagements. Its business plans add admins, sponsors and HR partners, coach matching, development plans, 360 assessments and scheduled stakeholder reports. As listed in October 2026, CoCreate is $79 a month per active coach for 10 clients each, with 2 admins and 5 sponsors, and Surge at $159 per active coach adds white-labeling and a custom domain. It claims SOC2, HIPAA and GDPR compliance, and G2 users rate it 4.8 from 146 reviews.
Where it falls short: per-coach pricing climbs as the firm grows, and reviewers mention a steep setup. Pick it over Coachful if packaged stakeholder reporting is a contract requirement.
7. Delenta: best for coaching organizations wanting a white-label app

Delenta's Teams and Enterprise tiers add multi-coach management, an HR dashboard and coach matching on top of programs, contracts, invoicing, courses and a white-label iOS and Android app. It announced HIPAA compliance in March 2026. Team pricing is custom; solo plans start at $29 a month for 10 client portals.
Where it falls short: the team price is not published, and reviewers mention a learning curve. Pick it if the app must carry your organization's name.
8. Teams, a booking link and a spreadsheet: fine for a pilot
Many internal programs start here: sessions on Microsoft Teams, a shared booking page, a spreadsheet of who is coaching whom and a folder of notes. It costs nothing new and is fine for six people over three months. It breaks on confidentiality (notes in shared drives), on evidence (no record of progress between sessions) and on scale (one spreadsheet, many editors). If the pilot works, move it to a platform before the second cohort. Our guide to pitching an employer-paid coaching pilot covers how to frame it.
Running a workplace coaching program: five decisions to make first
- Confidentiality boundaries. Write down what the sponsor sees (attendance, themes, agreed goals) and what they never see (session content). Put it in the agreement.
- Three-way goals. Agree goals with the employee and their manager at the start. See stakeholder alignment meetings.
- Cadence and length. Six months of fortnightly sessions is a common shape; fix it before contracting.
- Who pays and how. One invoice to the company per cohort, or per participant per month.
- What success looks like. A baseline, a target and a date for each goal, so the end-of-program report writes itself.
Frequently asked questions
What is a workplace coaching platform?
It is either a provider that supplies coaches to employees, such as BetterUp, CoachHub, EZRA or Torch, or software that coaches and internal teams use to run workplace programs themselves, such as Coachful. Providers match and report; software gives you seats, records, sponsor billing and delivery tools for your own coaches.
What is the best workplace coaching platform for a small coaching firm?
Coachful, for most firms: team seats with roles, coaches limited to their assigned clients, sponsors who receive invoices or sign agreements, cohort groups and private notes in one account. Simply.Coach is the better pick if packaged stakeholder reports are a contract requirement.
Is BetterUp or CoachHub better?
They overlap. Based on their websites, BetterUp organizes its offer by audience (leaders, managers, the whole workforce) with strong measurement, while CoachHub emphasizes coach supply and language coverage, with more than 3,500 coaches in over 80 languages. Ask both for references in your industry and region.
Can I run an internal coaching program on Coachful?
Yes. Internal coaches each get a seat with their own availability and permissions, employees join through invitations and use the client app on iPhone, Android or the web, and cohorts get a group with chat and calls. Coachful does not offer single sign-on or HR-system integrations, so check those requirements with IT first.
How do I keep workplace coaching confidential?
Agree in writing what the sponsor sees, usually attendance and agreed goals, and keep session content between coach and employee. Use a platform that separates private coach notes from shared notes, as Coachful does, and give the sponsor a summary rather than access to records.
Can Coachful build a workplace coaching program for me?
Yes, at no extra cost on every plan. Use Create > We'll build it for you to describe the cohort, weeks, intake form and welcome emails. The Coachful team builds them in your account, usually within about 24 hours. They do not invent credentials, testimonials or prices.
