Best Contract Software for Wellness Coaches: 7 Compared

Best Contract Software for Wellness Coaches: 7 Compared

The best contract software for wellness coaches does more than collect a signature. It puts a scope-of-practice clause, a health disclaimer and your payment terms in front of a new client before the first session, then keeps that signed agreement attached to the same record where you run the program, take the payments and notice when someone is about to drift away. The deciding question is simple: do you want a signing tool, or do you want the signed agreement to live inside the system that delivers your coaching?

For most wellness coaches who sell multi-week programs, our pick is Coachful, because the agreement, the booking, the payment plan, the habits and the check-ins all sit behind one login and one branded client app. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read the six alternatives below: two client-management CRMs, two coaching-specific practice tools, one freelancer suite and one plain e-signature app. Each section ends with the situation where that tool is the better choice.

Nothing here is legal advice. Contract and e-signature rules differ by state and country, so have a local lawyer review your template before you rely on it. If you want the category-level view first, our coaching contract management workflow guide covers the mechanics that apply to every niche.

What does a wellness coach's client journey ask of contract software?

It asks for different things at each stage: clean lead capture when people find you, a signed agreement and payment at enrollment, documents clients can find again during delivery, and an easy way to renew at the end. Wellness work adds one more layer at every stage: you are working near health, so your paperwork has to draw a clear line between coaching and care.

Attract: the promise you make before anyone signs

Your sales page, lead magnet and discovery call booking set expectations that the contract later has to match. If your page says "reset your energy in 90 days" and your agreement says outcomes are not guaranteed, that gap is where refund disputes start. The useful software feature here is not the contract itself, it is having the offer, the booking page and the agreement written in the same place so the promises line up. Intake questions on the booking form also let you spot a client who needs a doctor before they need a coach.

Enroll: scope, health disclaimer and money in one sitting

This is the moment contract software earns its fee. A wellness coaching agreement usually covers:

  • Scope of practice. Coaching supports behavior change; it is not diagnosis, treatment, therapy or a prescribed diet. The client keeps their own medical providers.
  • Health disclaimer and referral clause. The client confirms they have medical clearance where relevant, and agrees that you will pause and refer if red flags appear.
  • Payment terms. Pay in full, payment plan or monthly subscription, what happens on a failed payment, and your refund policy.
  • Sessions and cancellations. Notice period, no-show rules, how long unused sessions stay valid.
  • Confidentiality and recording consent. Especially if you record sessions or share wins in a group community.
  • Term and renewal. When the program ends and how continuing works.

The ICF Code of Ethics expects coaches to agree on roles, responsibilities and fees with clients up front, which is one more reason to get this signed before session one rather than after. If you hold or are working toward the NBHWC credential, the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching publishes its own scope of practice, and your agreement should match it.

Deliver: the agreement has to stay findable

Twelve weeks in, a client asks whether the program includes a third check-in call this month. You want to open their record and see the signed agreement next to their sessions, habits and payments, not search an inbox. Clients benefit too: a Documents tab in their own app beats "can you resend the contract?"

Retain: renewals, upgrades and clean endings

Wellness results often take longer than one program. Retention means a renewal offer, sometimes a new agreement for a maintenance tier, and a record of what the client already agreed to. It also means ending well: a final invoice, a data export if they ask, and an agreement that already said what happens to their notes.

Which tools cover which stage?

Only one tool on this list covers all four stages natively; the rest are strong at enrollment and thinner on either side of it. Here is the coverage at a glance, based on what each vendor documents as listed in October 2026.

How did we rank these seven tools?

We ranked by four things that matter to a wellness coach who sells programs: whether the signed agreement lives in the same login as the whole client journey, how much the tool helps between sessions, what the full stack costs once you add the tools it lacks, and how much setup effort it takes to get running.

Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost, and setup effort (including whether someone will build it for you).

We did not run these tools ourselves for this article. Vendor details come from each company's own pricing and product pages as listed in October 2026, and from what public reviewers report. Practice Better and Satori are also worth a look for wellness practitioners; we compare them in depth in our Practice Better alternatives for wellness coaches roundup.

1. Coachful: why is it the best fit for program-based wellness coaches?

Coachful is the best fit because the signed agreement is one step inside a system that also books the call, takes the payment, runs the program and tracks whether the client is still engaged. You do not export a PDF from a signing tool and upload it somewhere else; the agreement is stored on the client record alongside goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, payments and sessions.

How the agreement fits enrollment

Coaching agreements with e-signature are sent before the first call and stored on the client record. That ordering matters for wellness work: your scope clause and health disclaimer are signed before you discuss anyone's sleep, eating or stress in detail. On the coach side, agreements sit in their own tab, and the tab also has a drop area for signed PDFs, which is useful when you move existing clients over with paper or older digital contracts.

Coachful Agreements tab with an empty state and a drop area for signed PDFs
The Agreements tab in Coachful's coach dashboard, shown empty, with a "Drop a signed PDF here" area and the main navigation on the left.

Booking pages can ask intake questions at the moment someone books, so a short health screen (for example, "Are you currently under a doctor's care for a condition that affects diet or exercise?") arrives before the discovery call. Those answers land on the same client record as the agreement. If you want a starting draft for the agreement text, our coaching contract generator and the coaching contracts page explain the structure; have a lawyer adapt it to your location.

Payments that match what the contract says

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time charges, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with Stripe Tax and an invoice per transaction plus manual invoices. There is a 0% Coachful platform fee since August 2026, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. For a wellness coach, the payment plan is the important part: a 12-week program split into three monthly payments can be set up as exactly what the agreement describes, and manual invoices cover an employer paying for a staff wellness series.

Delivery between sessions

This is where Coachful separates from every CRM on this list. Multi-week programs carry weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. A client working on hydration, a wind-down routine and three walks a week sees those habits in their own branded home and app, and you see completion on their record. Each client gets a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, which is an early warning for renewals. Clients also see a Documents tab in their coaching hub, next to their sessions and progress.

Client coaching hub showing the next session, tabs including Documents, and a required pre-session task
The client's coaching hub in demo data: next session, tabs for Overview, Programs, Sessions, Progress and Documents, and a required pre-session task.

Beyond programs, membership includes courses with drip and completion tracking, a community feed with group chat and video events, cohort groups that are created automatically when someone enrolls in a program, and email lists with multi-step sequences. Coaches who work with movement and food can add the Fitness & Nutrition pack with a workout builder, nutrition targets, meal plans and private progress photos. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, briefs you before sessions from live practice data and drafts emails and content; questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership, while confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.

Here is a short walkthrough of how a client journey is laid out in Coachful:

Price

Plans are flat monthly; lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and team plans add coach seats (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Monthly plans cancel in one click, and there is a free trial. There is no permanent free plan.

What Coachful does not do

  • It is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA. If you are a clinician or work under a covered entity as defined by HHS, clinical records belong in a clinical system.
  • No PayPal. Clients who pay that way will need to switch to card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  • No Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available.
  • The client app is your branding inside the Coachful app, not a listing under your own App Store account.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, the "We'll build it for you" option lets you describe what you want built (a website, funnel, program, course outline, form or worksheet, email sequence and more), attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you. One recent example: a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing got a five-page site in sage and cream with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation. For a wellness coach, that could be the intake form, the onboarding email sequence and the program shell around your agreement. It does not cover recording videos, logo design or ads. Read more about the white-glove build service.

In short: Coachful is a coaching platform for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, and for solo coaches growing into a small team who want to replace four to six tools. It handles agreements, booking, payments, programs, courses, community, website and email under one login. It is not a clinical records system, it has no PayPal and no wearable sync. To start, open a free trial and request a white-glove build. More on the wellness side: Coachful for health coaches.

2. HoneyBook: is a client-management CRM enough for wellness contracts?

For enrollment paperwork alone, yes. HoneyBook is a client-management CRM for service businesses, built around proposals, contracts, invoices, a scheduler and a client portal. A proposal that bundles the offer, the agreement and the first invoice into one flow is genuinely good for selling, especially to an employer buying a lunchtime stress series or a studio buying a workshop.

HoneyBook homepage presenting its client-management CRM for service businesses
HoneyBook's homepage in October 2026.

Where it fits a wellness practice. If part of your income is corporate wellness, HoneyBook's proposal-to-contract flow mirrors how organisations buy: they want a written scope, a fee and an invoice they can forward to finance. Coaches who run day retreats or one-off workshops also benefit from the project-style view, where each booking is a project with its own documents.

Price as listed in October 2026. Starter shows $29/mo billed annually, with unlimited clients and projects and 2 live lead forms. Essentials is $59/mo ($49/mo annually) with up to 2 team members and 10 lead forms. Premium is $129/mo ($109/mo annually) with unlimited team members. There is a 30-day free trial with no credit card. Payments must run through HoneyBook's own processing; the pricing page lists card rates inconsistently (2.7% + 10¢ in the FAQ, 2.9% + 25¢ in the plan comparison), with ACH at 1.5%.

The limits for coaches. There is no coaching delivery at all: no programs, courses, habits, check-ins or community. The scheduler and automations are not on Starter, so most coaches will land on Essentials. Once a client signs, the actual coaching happens somewhere else, which means a second login for you and a second app for them. That is the stack cost question in the recipes section below. Public reviews on Trustpilot sat at 4.1 from 748 reviews when we looked in October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if most of your revenue comes from proposals to employers, venues or studios, your sessions are one-off events rather than multi-week programs, and you already deliver content through another platform you are happy with.

3. Dubsado: when do custom onboarding workflows win?

Dubsado wins when your onboarding is long and form-driven, for example a health history questionnaire, then a lifestyle assessment, then the agreement, then the invoice, each triggered by the last. It is a client workflow CRM with forms, contracts, invoices, a scheduler and automated workflows, and its strength is how much of that sequence you can shape yourself.

Dubsado homepage presenting its client workflow CRM with forms and contracts
Dubsado's homepage in October 2026.

Good for wellness coaches who love detail. If you want the client to complete a questionnaire, receive a tailored agreement based on their answers, and get a reminder three days later if they have not signed, Dubsado's workflows can express that. Coaches who previously ran everything through email and a spreadsheet often find this structure a relief.

Listed pricing. Starter is $35/mo ($27.92/mo annually) with unlimited clients and projects and 1 active lead-capture form. Premier is $55/mo ($43.75/mo annually) with unlimited lead forms. A 21-day trial with full Premier access needs no credit card. Dubsado states no platform fee of its own; processor rates apply, and optional surcharging can pass card costs to the client (check whether surcharging is permitted where you and your clients live).

What you give up. Starter has no scheduler or automations, so the workflow strength above really starts at Premier. Dubsado says itself that it does not build websites and is not an email marketing platform. There are no courses, client community, habits or check-ins. The mobile app is a companion; full functionality needs the desktop web app, which matters if you manage your practice from a phone between classes. Setup also takes time: the flexibility that makes it powerful is the same flexibility you have to configure.

Pick it over Coachful if your competitive edge is a highly tailored, multi-form onboarding sequence, you are comfortable spending setup time building it, and you will run program delivery in a separate tool.

4. CoachVantage: what does a coaching-specific tool offer at a lower entry price?

CoachVantage gives you a coaching practice manager with contracts and e-signature built in, plus a CRM, scheduling, invoices, a client portal, group programs and small courses, priced per coach with unlimited clients. For a new wellness coach, it covers more of the journey than the CRMs above.

CoachVantage homepage presenting its coaching practice management software
CoachVantage's homepage in October 2026.

Contract features specifically. The entry Clarity plan caps you at 4 e-signatures a month and 2 contract templates. Four signatures a month is fine while you enroll a handful of clients, but a January intake for a group reset program would blow through it in a day. The Aha! plan removes the e-signature cap and allows 5 contract templates, which is enough for a 1:1 agreement, a group agreement, a corporate agreement and a couple of variants.

CoachVantage pricing page with Clarity and Aha! plans
CoachVantage's pricing page in October 2026.

Pricing, as listed in October 2026. Clarity is $39/mo ($35/mo annually) with unlimited contacts, 2 group programs, 2 sales pages, 2 booking pages, 2 courses and 500 MB. Aha! is $59/mo ($53/mo annually) with unlimited group programs (with cohorts), sales pages, booking pages and e-signatures, 5 contract templates, 5 courses and 1 GB. The trial is 14 days with no card. CoachVantage says it takes no commission on your revenue; Stripe or PayPal fees apply.

Limits worth knowing. Older profiles note no team or multi-coach features, and public reviewers describe the built-in video (CVMeet) as weak, with many users still running sessions on Zoom. There is no daily habit tracking or morning and evening check-in flow in what CoachVantage documents, which is the between-session work wellness clients often need most. Storage is also tight if you share guided audio or video.

Pick it over Coachful if you need PayPal, you mainly run 1:1 sessions with a light group program on the side, and you are fine sending clients elsewhere for daily habit and check-in work.

5. Paperbell: should you pay one flat price for everything?

Paperbell is a single plan for solo coaches that bundles booking, packages, payments, contracts, a client portal and a simple website. One price, unlimited clients and sessions, and no tiers to outgrow: that simplicity is the whole pitch, and for coaches who hate comparing plans it works.

Paperbell homepage presenting its all-in-one admin tool for solo coaches
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

How a wellness coach would use it. You create a package (say, six sessions over three months), attach your agreement, and the client signs and pays at checkout. The agreement, payment and bookings are tied together, which covers the enrollment stage well. Paperbell supports PayPal as well as Stripe, which some wellness clients prefer.

What it costs, as listed in October 2026. $97/mo, or $80.83/mo billed annually, with unlimited clients, sessions, files, packages and traffic. Paperbell lists no additional transaction fees beyond Stripe or PayPal processing. The pricing page has a "Try For Free" button without a stated length; its help center described a 7-day trial in July 2026 with the public site offline and client messages and SMS off during the trial. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Gaps for program-based coaching. Older profiles list no courses, no community and no goal or habit tracking, and no native mobile app (clients use a mobile browser). For a wellness coach whose results depend on what happens between calls, that means adding at least one more tool. It is also the most expensive single tool on this list, which makes the flat price less of a bargain once you pay for that second platform. Trustpilot showed 3.5 from 14 reviews when we checked in October 2026. We cover replacements in Paperbell alternatives for wellness coaches.

Pick it over Coachful if you run session packages rather than programs, you want PayPal at checkout, and a single flat price matters more to you than between-session tools.

6. Bonsai: does a freelancer suite suit a coach who also consults?

It does if coaching is one part of a mixed practice. Bonsai is business management for freelancers and agencies: proposals, contracts, invoices, time tracking and projects. A wellness coach who also writes corporate wellness content, consults for a gym chain or bills hourly for workshop design will like having proposals and time-based invoices in the same place as client agreements.

Bonsai homepage presenting its business management suite for freelancers
Bonsai's homepage in October 2026.

Contracts in practice. Bonsai's contract and proposal tools suit agreements with a scope, deliverables and an hourly or project fee. For a coaching engagement that is mostly a recurring program with a health disclaimer, you will be adapting a freelancer template, so expect to rewrite it with your lawyer rather than use it as is.

Listed pricing in October 2026. Every plan is per user. Basic is $15/mo ($9/mo annually), Essentials $25/mo ($19/mo annually), Premium $39/mo ($29/mo annually), and Elite $59/mo ($49/mo annually) with a minimum of 3 users. The trial is 7 days with full access, and a card is not required to start. The Basic plan has no invoicing or payments, so a coach who wants to get paid through Bonsai starts on Essentials. Payment fees are linked out to its help center; older help-center figures list Bonsai Payments card rates at 2.9% + $0.30 and a 1% platform fee when you use your own Stripe or PayPal where Bonsai Payments is available. We could not re-read that help article in October 2026, so confirm current rates with Bonsai.

Where it stops. No courses, community, client habits, check-ins or coaching programs. A custom domain is marked as expected in 2026 but not yet released. Per-user pricing also adds up if you bring on an assistant.

Pick it over Coachful if most of your work is project or hourly consulting with coaching on the side, you need time tracking, and your clients do not need a program app.

7. SignWell: is a plain e-signature app all you need?

Sometimes, yes. SignWell is an e-signature tool: you upload your agreement, place fields and send it. It has no booking, payments or delivery, so it only makes sense when the rest of your stack already works and you just need legally signed documents.

Who it suits. A wellness coach who already delivers through a course platform or community tool and only signs a handful of agreements each month can add SignWell without changing anything else. Template links, listed on every plan, are handy for a standard program agreement you send after every discovery call.

Pricing from SignWell's pricing page, read in October 2026. The Free plan allows 1 sender, 1 template and 3 documents a month. Light is $12/mo monthly or $10/mo billed yearly, with 1 sender, 5 templates per sender and unlimited documents; extra senders cost $12/mo monthly ($10 yearly). Business is $36/mo monthly or $30/mo billed yearly with 3 senders and unlimited templates. Custom pricing is offered for teams of 50 or more.

The trade-off. Every signed agreement becomes a PDF you have to file against the client somewhere else, and nothing connects the signature to payment or to the first session. If a client signs but never pays, or pays but never signs, you catch it manually. In both the US (the ESIGN Act) and the EU (eIDAS), electronic signatures are generally valid for agreements like these, but the specifics vary, which is another reason for a lawyer to look at your setup.

Pick it over Coachful if you have no plans to change your delivery platform, you sign fewer than three or four agreements a month, and you want the cheapest possible way to get them signed.

How do the features compare side by side?

Coachful is the only tool here that combines e-signature with habit and check-in delivery and a branded client app; the CRMs lead on proposals, and the coaching tools sit in between.

What does each stack cost, all-in-one versus assembled?

Price the stack, not the contract tool. A cheap signing app plus a scheduler, a payment tool and a program platform often costs more than one system, and every handoff between them is a place where a client signs but never shows up.

Recipe A: all-in-one in Coachful

Agreement, booking, payments, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community, website and email in one membership. Cost by client count is in the table below. Setup effort is lowest if you use the white-glove build.

Recipe B: CRM for paperwork plus a practice tool for delivery

Example: HoneyBook Essentials at $59/mo for proposals, contracts and the scheduler, plus Practice Better Plus at $99/mo (its evergreen programs and portal branding start on Plus) for delivery. That is $158/mo at monthly list prices, two logins for you, and two places your client has to remember.

Recipe C: signer plus session tool

Example: SignWell Light at $12/mo plus CoachVantage Clarity at $39/mo, using SignWell to get past Clarity's four-signature monthly cap. That is $51/mo, but you still have no habit or check-in flow and you file every signed PDF by hand.

Here is what the contract-capable plan alone costs at 5, 15 and 40 active clients, at monthly list prices as of October 2026 (annual billing is cheaper where noted earlier). These figures are examples for planning; your own plan choice may differ.

How would a wellness coach set this up in Coachful, step by step?

Here is an example setup for a fictional coach running a 12-week "Energy Reset" program for busy professionals, with a discovery call, a signed agreement, a three-part payment plan and daily habits.

  1. Draft the agreement. Start from the contract generator or your existing template. Add a scope clause ("coaching is not medical, nutritional or psychological treatment"), a referral clause, the payment plan, your cancellation window, recording consent for any sessions you record, and what happens to client data when the program ends. Send it to a local lawyer for review.
  2. Build the offer. Create the Energy Reset program as an offer with a payment plan through your Stripe Connect account. Add a pay-in-full option if you want one, and a coupon for returning clients.
  3. Set up the discovery call booking page. Set availability rules, buffers and minimum notice, connect your Google, Apple or Outlook calendar, and add intake questions. Keep the health screen short and paraphrased in your own words; do not copy official medical screening forms verbatim.
  4. Send the agreement at enrollment. Make sure it goes out so it is signed before the first coaching call, and is stored on the client record.
  5. Build the program. Weekly goals (for example, week 1: sleep window), daily tasks, habits such as a morning walk or a screens-off time, and morning and evening check-ins. The program templates and coaching flow templates give you a starting structure.
  6. Turn on reminders. Email reminders by default, plus SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp 1 hour before once messaging is enabled.
  7. Plan the retain stage. Write a short email sequence for week 10 that offers a maintenance tier, and watch client status for anyone sliding from active to quiet or at risk.
  8. Ask for the build if you would rather not do steps 2 to 5 yourself. Describe the program, attach your agreement and branding files, and request it through the white-glove service.

When the agreement should stop the coaching

Your agreement and your intake should name the red flags that mean you pause and refer. Typical examples: chest pain, fainting or shortness of breath with activity; signs of disordered eating; rapid unexplained weight change; thoughts of self-harm; pregnancy complications; or a client changing medication without their doctor. In those cases the client needs a physician, registered dietitian or licensed mental health professional, and coaching resumes only with their clearance. Clinical records do not belong in Coachful, which is not HIPAA-certified.

How do you migrate contracts without disrupting active clients?

Move new clients first, keep current clients on the terms they already signed, and import the old signed copies so every record is complete.

  • Export every signed agreement as a PDF from your old tool before you cancel it, named by client and date.
  • Do not ask active clients to re-sign unless the terms are changing. A client mid-program who gets a new contract out of the blue reads it as a price rise. Upload their existing signed PDF to their record instead; in Coachful the Agreements tab has a drop area for exactly that.
  • Use the move to fix your template. Most coaches find their old agreement is missing a referral clause or a recording consent line. Add them for new clients.
  • Plan payments separately. Subscriptions and payment plans tied to an old processor do not move on their own. Let active plans finish where they are, or agree a switch date with each client. If clients paid by PayPal, tell them early that card, Apple Pay or Google Pay will replace it.
  • Let onboarding do the heavy lifting. In Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and you can export your full client data as a ZIP at any time.

More on keeping contract records tidy over time is in our contract software for health coaches comparison, and coaches with an employer-facing side should also read software for corporate wellness coaches.

What is our verdict?

If you sell multi-week wellness programs and want the signed agreement, the payment plan and the daily habits under one login, choose Coachful. HoneyBook is the strongest option when your income leans on proposals to employers and venues. Dubsado suits coaches who want to hand-build a detailed onboarding sequence. CoachVantage is a lower-cost coaching tool if you can live with its e-signature caps on Clarity and need PayPal. Paperbell keeps things to one flat price for session packages. Bonsai fits a coach who also consults by the hour. SignWell is the right add-on only when your delivery stack is settled and you just need signatures.

Whichever you pick, the contract is only as good as its wording: scope, referral, payment terms and renewal, reviewed by a lawyer where you practise.

There is usually no rule that a coaching agreement must be written, but a signed one protects both sides when there is a dispute about refunds, cancellations or scope. For wellness coaching it also documents that the client understood coaching is not medical care. Rules vary by state and country, so check with an attorney.

Are e-signatures valid for coaching agreements?

In the US, the ESIGN Act generally gives electronic signatures the same effect as handwritten ones, and in the EU the eIDAS regulation sets the framework. Some document types have exceptions, and local rules differ. A lawyer can confirm whether your agreement and signing method are enough where you and your clients live.

What clauses matter most in a wellness coaching agreement?

Scope of practice, a health disclaimer with a referral clause, payment and refund terms, cancellation and no-show rules, confidentiality and recording consent, and the program term with renewal terms. If you sell to employers, add who owns any materials you create and how participant information is shared.

Is Coachful HIPAA-compliant?

No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. Wellness coaches who are not covered entities typically use it for coaching records, while any clinical notes stay in a dedicated clinical system.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a build service included on every plan: you describe what you want (a website, funnel, program, form, email sequence and more), attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented on your behalf; gaps are left for you to fill.

Can I use my existing contract template in Coachful?

Yes, you can bring your own agreement wording. For clients who already signed elsewhere, the Agreements tab lets you drop in the signed PDF so their record is complete.

Which tool here accepts PayPal?

Paperbell and CoachVantage list PayPal alongside Stripe, and Bonsai mentions using your own PayPal where Bonsai Payments is available. Coachful does not support PayPal; it uses Stripe Connect or Razorpay, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Is a free e-signature plan enough when I am starting out?

SignWell's Free plan allows 3 documents a month with one template, which can cover a brand-new practice. The catch is that signing, payment and delivery stay disconnected, so you will track who has signed and paid by hand. Once you enroll more than a few clients a month, that admin is usually the bigger cost.

Should I send a new contract when a client renews?

If the terms, price or program change, yes: a short renewal agreement avoids arguments about what the new phase includes. If they are simply continuing on identical terms, your original agreement's renewal clause may cover it; that depends on how it was written, so ask your lawyer.

How do I handle a client who needs medical clearance after signing?

Pause the program, explain why in writing, and point them to their doctor or the right licensed professional. Your agreement's referral clause should already say this can happen and how paused sessions or payments are handled. Resume only once they confirm clearance.
