Best Payment Platforms for Nutrition Coaches (12 Compared)

Best Payment Platforms for Nutrition Coaches (12 Compared)

The best payment platforms for nutrition coaches do more than run a card. They bill a 12-week program in instalments, renew monthly check-in coaching without you chasing anyone, sell a meal-plan PDF to a stranger at midnight, and tie each payment to the client whose food log, macros and progress photos you review every week. The deciding question is simple: does the payment live in the same place as the coaching, or in a separate checkout you have to reconcile by hand?

Our pick is Coachful, because it puts the checkout, the program, the nutrition targets, the weekly check-in and the invoice on one client record, and the payment goes straight to your own Stripe or Razorpay account with no Coachful platform fee. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read the 11 alternatives below too. Some of them are the better choice for a coach who only sells digital downloads or who runs a gym floor.

This is a decision guide first. Answer five questions about your practice, see which platform those answers point to, then read the ranked sections, the cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients, and the red flags that make switching expensive later. For the wider category beyond nutrition, see our parent guide to the best payment platforms for coaches.

What should a nutrition coach answer before choosing a payment platform?

Five questions settle most of the decision. Write your answers down before you read any vendor page, because nutrition practices differ more in how they sell than in what they teach.

  1. What do you actually sell? Ongoing monthly coaching with weekly check-ins, a fixed-length program (a 6-week reset, a 12-week fat-loss or gut-health program), one-off products such as meal-plan templates and recipe ebooks, or a mix. Recurring coaching needs subscriptions; programs need payment plans; products need a fast checkout.
  2. Where do clients log food, macros and check-ins? If clients pay in one tool and log meals, photos and measurements in another, you will reconcile two client lists every month. Decide whether you want the payment attached to the coaching record.
  3. How many active clients will you have in 12 months? Many fitness and nutrition apps price by active client. A tool that is cheap at 5 clients can cost several times more at 40.
  4. Which payment mechanics do your offers need? Instalments for a premium program, coupons for a January launch, an order bump for a recipe pack, refunds, Apple Pay, and sales tax or VAT handling if you sell across borders.
  5. Are you coaching or providing clinical care? If you are a registered dietitian who bills insurance or keeps medical records for diagnosed conditions, you need a clinical system with a business associate agreement under HIPAA. Coaching platforms, including ours, are not built for that. The US Department of Health and Human Services explains who counts as a covered entity.

A word on scope, because it shapes the tools you need. Nutrition coaching supports habits, food choices and accountability for generally healthy adults. It is not medical nutrition therapy. Refer clients to a doctor or registered dietitian when they report a diagnosed condition such as diabetes or kidney disease, signs of disordered eating, pregnancy, unexplained weight loss, or medication that interacts with diet. Put that line in your coaching agreement and your intake form, and your payment platform should make sure the agreement is signed before money changes hands.

Which platform fits your answers?

Ranking criteria, in one line: one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions (nutrition targets, check-ins, habits), total stack cost at real client counts, and setup effort, including a free white-glove build where one exists.

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

How did we choose and rank these 12 platforms?

We started from what nutrition coaches sell: recurring coaching, fixed programs with instalments, and low-priced digital products. Each platform had to take card payments without a custom quote, so quote-only tools such as Exercise.com and Momence did not make the list, and studio software built around classes was set aside.

Prices, trials and transaction fees come from each vendor's pricing page or help center as listed in October 2026. Trustpilot figures are as seen in late October 2026. We did not run paid accounts on these tools; where we describe limits, we report what the vendor documents and what public reviewers note. Ranking follows the criteria line above, which weights the whole client journey, not just the checkout. That favours all-in-one coaching platforms over pure storefronts, and we say so openly.

1. Coachful: the checkout, the meal targets and the invoice on one client record

Coachful is the strongest fit for nutrition coaches who sell coaching rather than just files, because the payment is attached to the client you then coach. A client buys your 12-week program, signs the agreement, answers intake questions, and lands in a branded home where their nutrition targets, meal plan, habits and weekly check-in already wait. You see the payment, the check-in and the progress photos on the same record.

Coachful's client Programs view on a tablet and the coach's Offers page on a laptop, beside a bowl of greens.

How payments work. You connect your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, so money goes to you, not through a middle account. Coachful supports one-time payments, subscriptions for monthly coaching, payment plans for higher-priced programs, order bumps (a recipe pack added at checkout, for example), coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax for sales tax or VAT. Every transaction gets an invoice, and you can issue manual invoices for a corporate client or a client who pays by bank transfer outside the checkout. Since August 2026 Coachful takes a 0% platform fee; you pay only Stripe's or Razorpay's processing.

Why it suits nutrition work specifically. The Fitness & Nutrition pack, included in your Coachful membership, adds nutrition targets up to calories and macros, meal plans, recipes, food lookup with barcode scanning, private progress photos and measurements, and weekly check-ins. Programs carry weekly goals, daily tasks, habits (water, protein at breakfast, a 10-minute walk after dinner) and morning and evening check-ins with streaks. If you also programme training, the workout builder and exercise library are in the same pack. See the Fitness & Nutrition pack for the full list.

The parts around the payment. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and sit on the client record, which is where your scope-of-practice and referral clause belongs (our coaching contracts page covers this). Booking pages handle paid sessions and session credits, with intake questions at booking. The client record pulls together goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, and shows each client as thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so a failed renewal and a run of missed check-ins show up together.

Selling products as well as coaching. Meal-plan templates, recipe books, downloads, courses and bundles live on the same account and are delivered into the client's branded home and app. Checkout funnels and a link-in-bio page that sells cover the Instagram traffic that Stan Store users rely on, with Meta Pixel and UTM tracking. Email sequences with triggers and delays can follow up after a purchase, and Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, can draft those emails and a program outline from your live practice data (questions are included; confirmed builds use AI credits).

The short walkthrough below shows the invoice side of payments inside Coachful.

How a nutrition coach sets up payments in Coachful, step by step:

  1. Connect your Stripe Connect account (or Razorpay in India) and switch on Stripe Tax if you sell into regions that charge tax on digital services.
  2. Create two or three offers: a monthly coaching subscription, a fixed program with a payment plan, and a low-priced meal-plan product.
  3. Attach your coaching agreement, with the scope line and referral clause, so it is signed before the first call.
  4. Add intake questions about goals, eating patterns, allergies and any diagnosed conditions, so you can spot referral cases before you start.
  5. Build the program: weekly goals, daily habits, nutrition targets and a weekly check-in with photos and measurements. One of the more than 40 program templates gives you a head start.
  6. Publish a checkout funnel and your link-in-bio page, then send one test purchase with a coupon to confirm the invoice and the client's welcome flow.

What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified and has no business associate agreement, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. It has no PayPal. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available, so clients who track steps on a watch enter them by hand. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no permanent free plan.

Price. Plans are flat monthly, lower plans cap the number of clients and Pro is unlimited; team plans add coach seats. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients. Monthly plans cancel in one click, and there is a free trial.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, the "We'll build it for you" card lets you describe what you want built, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files (logo, photos, brand guide, your existing meal-plan copy), and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. For a nutrition coach that might be a sales page for a 12-week program, a free meal-plan lead-magnet funnel with a follow-up email sequence, or a full site. One recent build: a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing got a five-page site in sage and cream with every button leading to a 20-minute consultation. Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management. Read more about the white-glove service.

In short: Coachful is a coaching platform with booking, payments, contracts, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant, for coaches who deliver programs and want to replace four to six tools. It does not handle clinical records, PayPal or wearable sync. To start, take the free trial and request a white-glove build of your first offer page.

2. Is Stan Store enough if you mainly sell meal plans from Instagram?

For a nutrition coach whose income is mostly digital products, yes, Stan Store is a quick way to turn a link in bio into a shop. You list a 7-day meal plan, a high-protein recipe ebook or a paid call, and followers buy on their phone in a few taps.

Stan Store homepage promoting its link-in-bio storefront for creators selling products
Stan Store's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Creator costs $29/month ($25/month billed annually) with unlimited products and customers in one store, and Creator Pro costs $99/month ($79/month annually). Stan takes no transaction fee and says you keep 100% of every sale; standard Stripe or PayPal processing applies. There is a 14-day free trial, and the first month is charged when the trial ends. On Trustpilot, Stan Store showed 4.7 from 2,205 reviews when we looked.

The limits show up once a buyer becomes a client. Stan has no contracts, invoices or client records and is not a CRM. There are no programs with client tasks, habits or check-ins, so a client who buys your 8-week program still needs somewhere to log meals and send their weekly update. Email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates sit on the $99 Creator Pro plan, which matters if your launch depends on a coupon code. No team seats are advertised.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell only downloadable meal plans and recipe products, run no ongoing coaching, and want the simplest possible storefront.

3. HoneyBook, for nutrition coaches who invoice companies

HoneyBook suits the nutrition coach whose growth comes from corporate wellness workshops, lunch-and-learns and retainer contracts, where the buyer is an HR team that wants a proposal, a contract and an invoice. It is a client-management CRM for service businesses, with proposals, contracts, invoices, a scheduler and a client portal.

HoneyBook homepage presenting its client management and invoicing software for service businesses
HoneyBook's homepage in October 2026.

Listed prices in October 2026: Starter $29/month billed annually (the monthly price was not shown), Essentials $59/month ($49 annually) with up to 2 team members, and Premium $129/month ($109 annually). There is a 30-day free trial with no card required. HoneyBook is the payment processor, and its own page conflicts: the FAQ lists cards at 2.7% + 10¢, while the plan comparison shows 2.9% + 25¢. ACH is 1.5%, and instant deposit costs 1%. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 748 reviews.

For nutrition delivery it does nothing: no programs, courses, habits, check-ins or community. The scheduler and automations start at Essentials, not Starter. You cannot bring your own Stripe account, and prices rose in February 2025 from $19/$39/$79 to $36/$59/$129 monthly, according to our older profile of the vendor.

Pick it over Coachful if most of your revenue is B2B workshops billed by proposal and invoice, and your individual clients are coached somewhere else.

4. Kajabi: course-first, with fees that depend on your plan

Kajabi is built for selling knowledge products at scale, so it fits the nutrition coach whose main offer is a large self-paced course, such as a 6-week gut-health course sold to thousands of email subscribers, with a community attached.

Kajabi homepage presenting its platform for selling courses, communities and coaching
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Basic is $179/month ($143 annually) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts and no AI credits; Growth is $249/month ($199 annually) with 50 products and 25,000 contacts; Pro is $499/month ($399 annually). Kajabi Payments in the US charges 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% + $0.30 on Growth and 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. Using a processor other than Kajabi Payments or PayPal adds a Kajabi fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth or 0.5% on Pro. The standard trial is 14 days. Trustpilot showed 3.4 from 2,347 reviews.

For a coach running individual macro plans the gap is clear: there is no habit tracking or daily client check-in, and coaching runs as products and communities rather than per-client plans. The 5-product cap on Basic fills fast if you sell a course, two meal-plan packs, a membership and a coaching tier. See our ranking of course platforms for nutrition coaches if the course is your main product.

Pick it over Coachful if your business is a high-volume course and email list, you rarely coach clients one to one, and the budget for Growth or Pro is already there.

5. Where Podia makes sense for a small nutrition catalogue

Podia is a simple storefront for courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and a community. A coach with a short catalogue (one beginner course, a recipe download, a monthly webinar) can be selling within an afternoon.

Podia homepage presenting its storefront for courses, downloads and memberships
Podia's homepage in October 2026.

The October 2026 listing: Mover $49/month ($42 annually) with a 5% Podia transaction fee; Shaker $99/month ($84 annually) and Earthquaker $179/month ($150 annually) with 0% Podia fee. Stripe or PayPal processing, which Podia lists at 2.9% + 30¢ standard, applies on top. The free trial is 14 days with no card. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 153 reviews.

Watch the email allowances: 100, 500 and 1,000 subscribers included across the three plans, which is small for a coach growing a list with a free meal-plan lead magnet. Our older profile notes no mobile app and no native video calls, and there are no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans. On Mover, the 5% fee on a program sale adds up faster than most coaches expect.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell a handful of courses and downloads, do little individual coaching, and want an inexpensive store on Shaker.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

Build your platform

6. Coachway and its built-in meal planner

Coachway is the closest thing on this list to a dedicated fitness and nutrition coaching app with payments. It is built for online fitness and nutrition coaches, with a meal planner of more than 1,100 recipes, macros, allergy filters and PDF export, plus a workout builder, check-in forms and progress tracking for weight, measurements and photos.

Coachway homepage presenting its coaching app for online fitness and nutrition coaches
Coachway's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, a single plan costs $79/month and covers up to 5 active clients, with each extra client $10/month (the pricing page shows euros: EUR 9 per extra client). The 14-day trial requires a card. Payments run through your own Stripe account; the page mentions a 2.4% payment fee when using its built-in payment system, while its structured data says that fee does not apply via your own Stripe checkout. Stripe's processing fees are separate. Trustpilot showed 4.6 from 22 reviews.

Its per-client pricing is the catch for a growing practice: by 40 active clients the listed rate passes $400 a month. It is also narrower than an all-in-one platform for courses, websites and email, based on what its pricing page lists. The branded client app shows your logo and colours inside the Coachway app, a similar model to ours.

Pick it over Coachful if a large ready-made recipe library is the feature you value most and you plan to stay at a small, fixed client roster.

7. Paperbell when you only sell session packages

Paperbell handles the admin of solo coaching in one flat-priced tool: booking, packages, payments, contracts, a client portal and a simple website. A nutrition coach who sells "6 sessions over 3 months" and sends advice by email after each call will find it tidy.

Paperbell homepage presenting its all-in-one admin software for solo coaches
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

There is one plan, listed at $97/month ($80.83 annually) in October 2026, with unlimited clients, sessions, files and packages. Paperbell says it adds no transaction fees; Stripe or PayPal processing applies. A help-center note from July 2026 describes a 7-day trial with the public site offline, and there is a 30-day money-back guarantee. Trustpilot showed 3.5 from 14 reviews.

For nutrition coaching the gaps are between sessions. Our older profile lists no courses, community, goal or habit tracking, and no native mobile app, so clients cannot log meals or water in the tool. Our Paperbell alternatives for nutrition coaches compares options in more depth.

Pick it over Coachful if you coach purely in sessions, want PayPal as well as cards, and have no need for client tracking.

8. PT Distinction: client bands for a training-led practice

PT Distinction is online personal-training software with programs, nutrition, check-ins, automations and a client app. It fits a coach whose clients get a training plan and nutrition guidance together and who expects 25 to 50 of them.

PT Distinction pricing page with Basic, Pro and Master plans
PT Distinction's pricing page in October 2026.

Prices listed in October 2026: Basic $19.90/month with 3 clients (extra clients $6.00/month each after one free month), Pro $59.90/month with 25 clients ($2.40 per extra), and Master $89.90/month with 50 clients ($1.60 per extra). The trial is one month, and you can cancel in that month and pay nothing. Transaction fees are not shown on the pricing page. Trustpilot showed 4.8 from 297 reviews.

The branded client app starts on Pro, not Basic. The pricing page shows no course builder, community or website and funnel builder, so a coach selling a recipe ebook or a lead magnet still needs another storefront and another checkout.

Pick it over Coachful if your coaching is training first with nutrition as a supporting layer, and per-client band pricing suits your roster.

9. Does Everfit's free plan cover payments?

No: Everfit's free Starter plan covers up to 5 clients, but payments are a paid add-on, so the free tier does not take money for you. Everfit is a fitness coaching app with workouts, habits, nutrition and messaging, priced by client count.

Everfit homepage presenting its fitness coaching app for trainers and coaches
Everfit's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Pro starts at $19/month ($16 annually) for 5 clients and scales: $29 for 10, $49 for 20, $95 for 50, $140 for 100. Studio starts at $105/month for 50 clients. The trial is 30 days with no card. Transaction fees are not shown on the pricing page. Trustpilot showed 2.7 from 16 reviews.

Automation (Autoflow), payments and meal plans are all paid add-ons, and meal plans are central for most nutrition coaches, so the real monthly cost is the Pro tier plus add-ons whose prices we did not capture. There is no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing.

Pick it over Coachful if you want to test a coaching app with a few clients at no cost before you take payments, and accept add-on pricing later.

10. My PT Hub, priced for unlimited clients

My PT Hub is personal-trainer software with workouts, nutrition plans, bookings, payments, habits, check-ins and a client app. Its attraction for a busy coach is that Premium covers unlimited clients and nutrition plans at one price.

My PT Hub pricing page with Starter, Premium and Ultimate plans in euros
My PT Hub's pricing page in October 2026 (shown in euros).

As listed in October 2026, Starter is $25/month with 3 clients (a My PT Hub blog says 5) and 50 nutrition plans, Premium is $59/month with unlimited clients, and Ultimate is $215/month with 5 extra trainers. The pricing page displays euros in our capture. The trial runs 30 days with no card and then drops to the free plan. Payments run through Stripe; Stripe fees are not shown. Trustpilot showed 4.4 from 2,557 reviews.

A white-label App Store listing is a paid add-on below Ultimate, and the pricing page shows no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing, so product sales and list building happen elsewhere.

Pick it over Coachful if you are a personal trainer first, expect a large roster, and only need to take payment for training and nutrition plans.

11. HubFit for a fitness roster of 50 to 100

HubFit covers programs, nutrition, habits and check-ins for online training, priced in client bands. It is free for clients, and public reviewers rate it highly: Trustpilot showed 5 from 390 reviews.

HubFit homepage presenting its online training and nutrition coaching app
HubFit's homepage in October 2026.

Listed in October 2026: Standard $39/month for up to 50 clients, Premium $69/month for up to 100, Ultimate $119/month for 100 with higher bands above. Payments start on Premium, with Stripe processing and no HubFit fee listed. The trial is 14 days on every plan.

For a nutrition coach who sells programs and products, the gaps are booking, video calls, contracts and a website, per our older profile. Branding also starts at Premium, team members and Zapier at Ultimate, and a branded app is a $189/month add-on.

Pick it over Coachful if you coach 50 or more fitness clients, sell nothing outside the app, and want the lowest band price with payments.

12. ABC Trainerize: payments as an add-on to a fitness platform

Trainerize is a large fitness and personal-training app with workouts, habits, nutrition tracking and messaging. It suits a gym or studio adding nutrition coaching for members more than a solo online nutrition coach.

ABC Trainerize homepage presenting its personal training and fitness coaching app
ABC Trainerize's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026: a free Basic plan for 1 client, Grow $10/month for 2, Pro $25/month for 5 with higher Pro tiers at 15, 30, 50 and more (we did not capture those tier prices), and Studio Plus from $275/month. The 30-day trial needs no card. In-app payments require the Stripe Integrated Payments add-on, and Stripe fees apply; the add-on price was not on the pricing page. Trustpilot showed 3.1 from 100 reviews.

Scheduling, product sales, payments, video and advanced nutrition are separate paid add-ons below Studio, and there is no course builder, website or email marketing. Our Trainerize alternatives for nutrition coaches covers coaches leaving it.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a training facility already in the ABC ecosystem and nutrition is an add-on service for members.

What does each platform take from a sale?

Fees matter more than headline prices for coaches selling programs, because they scale with revenue. This table shows each vendor's own fee as listed in October 2026, on top of standard processing.

A worked example, with illustrative numbers: a coach sells a 12-week program at $600 to 10 clients in a launch, for $6,000 of sales. A 5% platform fee costs $300 before processing; a 2% fee costs $120. Run your own launch numbers through each fee line before you decide. For more on packaging and pricing programs, see platforms to sell coaching packages.

How much does each platform cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Monthly subscription only, using the cheapest listed plan that takes payments at each client count, as listed in October 2026. Processing fees and add-ons are extra, and the tools do different amounts of work, so compare what you would still need to buy alongside each one.

Two patterns stand out. Storefronts look cheap at every client count but leave you paying for a separate tracking app and a separate contract tool, and keeping two client lists in sync. Per-client fitness apps look cheap at 5 clients and climb steeply. A flat plan with an unlimited tier, like Coachful's Pro, avoids both. For setting your own coaching rate rather than copying a competitor's, start from your hours per client per week, your target income and your client capacity, then test the number with a small group before a public launch.

What red flags and switching costs should nutrition coaches watch for?

The biggest switching cost is active subscriptions, because moving recurring clients usually means asking each one to re-enter card details. Choose carefully before you have 30 monthly renewals running.

  • Payments locked to the vendor's own processor. HoneyBook and Kajabi Payments hold the payment relationship. If you leave, your subscriptions do not come with you. Platforms that use your own Stripe account keep the customer relationship in an account you control.
  • Percentage fees that grow with you. A 5% fee on Podia Mover or a 2% extra Kajabi fee on Basic is small at your first sale and large at your first big launch.
  • Per-client pricing that punishes retention. Long-term maintenance clients are good business for a nutrition coach. On per-client tools, each one keeps adding to your bill.
  • Payments and tracking in different tools. When a renewal fails, you want to see it next to the client's check-ins. Split tools hide that a paying client went quiet three weeks ago.
  • Incomplete data export. Our older profile notes that Trainerize's export leaves out messages, photos and attachments. Before you commit, check that progress photos and check-in history can leave with you. Coachful exports the full client record as a ZIP.
  • Chargebacks on programs. A signed agreement, a clear refund policy and delivery records help when a client disputes a charge. Wikipedia's overview of chargebacks explains how disputes work.
  • Tax on cross-border sales. Selling meal plans or programs to EU buyers can bring VAT duties; the EU's Your Europe guide to cross-border VAT is a starting point. In the US, the IRS Self-Employed Individuals Tax Center covers income tax on coaching revenue. Rules vary, so check with an accountant.

When you do switch, move new sales first, let existing subscriptions run to the end of a billing cycle, then invite those clients to re-subscribe with a short note explaining the change. Coachful's onboarding team imports clients, programs and content for you. Which payment platform should a nutrition coach choose?

Choose Coachful if you sell coaching that continues between sessions: monthly check-ins, multi-week programs, nutrition targets and habits. It keeps the payment, the agreement, the program and the check-in on one record, takes no platform fee on your own Stripe or Razorpay account, and the free white-glove service can build your first sales page or funnel. See the coaching payment software page for the payment features in detail.

Choose Stan Store or Podia if you only sell digital nutrition products. Choose HoneyBook if corporate invoicing is your main income. Choose Kajabi for a large course business. Choose a fitness app such as PT Distinction, HubFit or My PT Hub if training is the core and nutrition a supporting layer. If you are a dietitian doing clinical work, use a HIPAA-compliant clinical system. Health coaches with a broader remit may also want our comparison of payment platforms for health coaches.

Frequently asked questions

Do nutrition coaches need a separate payment platform?

Not if your coaching platform includes payments. A separate checkout makes sense only if you sell products alone. If you coach clients over weeks, a platform that ties payment to the client record saves you reconciling two systems every month.

Can I take payment plans for a 12-week nutrition program?

Yes, on most coaching platforms. Coachful supports payment plans, subscriptions and one-time payments through your own Stripe or Razorpay account. Check that your chosen tool stops access automatically if an instalment fails, or you will be chasing clients by hand.

Does Coachful charge a transaction fee?

No. Since August 2026 Coachful charges a 0% platform fee. You pay only Stripe's or Razorpay's processing fees on each payment.

Does Coachful support PayPal?

No. Coachful takes payments through Stripe Connect or Razorpay, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. If PayPal is essential for your audience, Stan Store, Podia and Paperbell list it.

Is any of these platforms HIPAA-compliant for dietitians?

Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a business associate agreement, and none of the platforms here markets itself as a clinical system. If you keep medical records or bill insurance, use a clinical practice system and keep coaching tools for non-clinical work.

What is the cheapest way to start taking payments as a nutrition coach?

A storefront such as Stan Store is cheap to start but leaves out client tracking. A per-client app such as Everfit is cheap at 5 clients but charges for payments as an add-on. Compare the full stack you need at 15 clients, not just the entry price, using the table above.

How do I handle tax on meal plans sold internationally?

Digital products sold across borders can carry VAT or sales tax depending on where the buyer lives. Coachful supports Stripe Tax to calculate it at checkout. Rules vary by country and state, so check with an accountant.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a build service on every plan. You describe what you want, such as a program sales page, a lead-magnet funnel or a website, attach references and files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not invent testimonials or credentials, and it does not record videos or run ads.

Can clients log meals and macros where they pay?

In Coachful, yes. The Fitness & Nutrition pack includes nutrition targets up to calories and macros, meal plans, recipes, food lookup and barcode scanning, delivered in the same branded app where clients bought the program. Storefronts and CRMs on this list do not offer food logging.

How hard is it to switch payment platforms later?

One-time sales move easily; active subscriptions are harder because clients usually re-enter card details. Moving new sales first and migrating renewals at the end of a billing cycle keeps disruption low. Using your own Stripe account from the start keeps the customer relationship in your hands.
