Best Social Media Scheduler for Health Coaches (12 Compared)

Best Social Media Scheduler for Health Coaches (12 Compared)

The best social media scheduler for health coaches is the one that turns a week of posts into booked consultations without adding another login. Most schedulers stop at the moment a post goes live. For a health coach, that is the start of the work: someone reads a post about blood sugar swings or sleep, taps the link, books a call, signs an agreement, pays, and then needs daily habits and check-ins for twelve weeks. So the real question is not "which tool posts to the most networks" but "where does the post lead, and how many tools sit between a follower and an enrolled client?"

Our pick is Coachful. We make Coachful, so weigh that, but the reasoning is specific: its Social planner writes and schedules posts to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube, and every post can point to a Coachful booking page, funnel or link-in-bio page in the same account that runs your programs. Dedicated schedulers such as Buffer, Later and Metricool are better if you need TikTok, Pinterest, deep analytics or a shared inbox, and we say exactly when below. This guide ranks 12 options, with real prices as listed in October 2026, a cost table at 5, 15 and 40 clients, and a step-by-step setup.

What do health coaches actually need from a social media scheduler?

Health coaches need a scheduler that keeps a steady rhythm of educational posts going during busy client weeks, sends every post to a single next step, and stays inside the scope of coaching. Volume and network count matter less than most roundups suggest.

Here is what that looks like in practice for a nutrition, hormone, gut health or lifestyle coach:

  • A weekly batch, not daily improvising. Most health coaches deliver sessions in the mornings and evenings, so content gets written in one block. The scheduler needs a calendar view you can fill on Sunday and forget until the next one.
  • Formats that fit health education. Carousels explaining fibre or protein targets, short videos of a breakfast build, quote posts about habit change, and a LinkedIn article if you also sell corporate wellness workshops. Check that your scheduler publishes the formats you use on the networks you use.
  • One destination per post. A free 20-minute consultation, a lead magnet such as a seven-day meal-prep guide, or a waitlist for your next group program. If that destination lives in a different tool from your scheduler, your bookings, forms and payments split across logins.
  • A client journey after the click. Intake questions, a coaching agreement, payment, then habits, check-ins and progress tracking between sessions. That part decides whether a follower becomes a client who renews.
  • Scope discipline. Coaching is not treatment. Posts should educate and invite, not diagnose, promise to cure, or tell anyone to stop medication. Anyone with symptoms of a medical condition, a suspected eating disorder, or medication questions belongs with a doctor, registered dietitian or other licensed clinician, and your bio and booking page should say so.
  • Honest results posts. Client wins and before-and-after stories are testimonials. The FTC's Endorsement Guides say endorsements must be honest, reflect the endorser's real opinion, disclose material connections, and that exceptional results need context about what people generally achieve. The Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule (in effect since October 21, 2024) bans fake reviews and testimonials outright.

If you would rather grow without posting at all, our guide to getting coaching clients without social media covers four channels that work for health coaches too.

Ranking criteria, in one line: one login for the whole client journey from post to program, between-session delivery for health clients, total monthly stack cost, and setup effort (including Coachful's free white-glove build).

Build your platform

How did we choose and rank these tools?

We started from what a health coach's week looks like: a content batch, discovery calls, onboarding paperwork, then many small touchpoints between sessions. A tool scored higher when it covered more of that chain in one place and lower when it added a login.

  • Prices and limits come from each vendor's own pricing page as listed in October 2026. Sprout Social's and Publer's pricing pages were read on the day of writing; Publer's paid figures did not appear in the page we retrieved, so we say so rather than guess.
  • No hands-on testing claims. We describe what vendors document and what public reviewers report. Trustpilot scores are quoted where they help, with the date they were seen.
  • Health-specific weighting. Between-session delivery (habits, check-ins, nutrition targets) and a clean path from post to booked consult counted for more than network count.
  • Adjacent tools included on purpose. Practice Better, Paperbell, Stan Store and ManyChat do not schedule posts, but health coaches often compare them against schedulers when they ask "what should my posts point to?" We rank them on that basis and say clearly what they lack.

If you are comparing whole platforms rather than schedulers, see our best software for holistic health coaches and best software for gut health coaches roundups.

1. Coachful: the scheduler connected to your booking page, programs and client app

Coachful's sessions calendar, with demo 1:1 and accountability calls, on a laptop beside a mug of herbal tea.

Coachful is a coaching platform where social posting is one part of the client journey rather than a separate product. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant, with one login for you and one branded app for your clients. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, and for solo coaches replacing four to six tools.

The Social planner. You find it under Sell, then How you reach them, then Social planner. It gives AI help with post ideas and captions, then schedules and publishes to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube from one calendar. Each network publishes separately, with a retry per network and a notification if one fails, so a LinkedIn hiccup does not hold back your Instagram post. For a health coach that means one Sunday session can produce a week of posts about, say, protein at breakfast, and each one can link to your consultation booking page, a lead-magnet funnel, or your link-in-bio page that sells.

Coachful funnels page listing a free webinar funnel, a lead magnet funnel and a program launch funnel
Coachful's Funnels page with three demo funnels: a free webinar, a lead magnet and a program launch.

Where the posts lead. This is the part that separates Coachful from a pure scheduler. Booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels sit in the same account, with Meta Pixel and UTM tracking so you can see which post or campaign brought a lead in. A booking page can ask intake questions, apply availability rules, buffers and minimum notice, detect time zones, sync two-way with Google, Apple/iCloud or Outlook calendars, and create a video link. Once a prospect books, a coaching agreement with e-signature goes out before the first call, and payment runs through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with one-time, subscription or payment-plan options. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee (since August 2026); only the processor's fees apply.

The walkthrough below shows how a funnel is built, from the landing page to the step that captures the lead:

What happens between sessions. Health coaching results come from daily behaviour, so this matters more than another network. Programs run for multiple weeks with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. The Fitness & Nutrition pack adds nutrition targets up to calories and macros, meal plans, recipes, food lookup and barcode scanning, private progress photos and measurements, and weekly check-ins. Each client record shows goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers and a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you notice a client going quiet before they cancel.

Michelle, the AI assistant, works from your live practice data. She drafts emails and content, builds programs, summarizes recorded sessions and briefs you before each call. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. You can also set up an AI Coach that selected clients chat with between sessions.

Email after the click. Lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits handle the follow-up for anyone who downloads your meal-prep guide but does not book yet. See email marketing for coaches for how sequences are set up.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create, then "We'll build it for you · FREE", and describe what you want: a website, a funnel, a sales page, a program, a course outline, an email sequence, a link-in-bio page, a lead quiz and more. You can attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, photos or existing copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. One recent build was for a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing, who got a five-page site in sage and cream with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation. The service does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more about the free white-glove service.

What Coachful does not do. It does not publish to TikTok or Pinterest, has no social analytics dashboard, and has no unified social inbox for comments and DMs. It is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so clinical records and insurance billing belong in a clinical system. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan. It does not sync with Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account.

Price. Flat monthly plans; lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and monthly plans cancel in one click (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). There is a free trial. Coachful is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and holds a Trustpilot score of 4.5 from 21 reviews. More detail for this niche is on our page for health coaches.

2. Buffer: lowest cost per network if you only need a queue

Buffer's public homepage as captured in October 2026
Buffer's homepage in October 2026.

Buffer is the plain, inexpensive choice for a health coach who already has booking and programs handled and just wants posts to go out on time. It publishes to Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube Shorts, Threads, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Mastodon and Substack. Instagram personal profiles and Facebook groups are reminder-only, which matters if your community lives in a Facebook group.

Pricing is per channel. The Free plan covers up to 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel at any one time (a slot refills once a post publishes), 1 user, and 30 days of insights history. Essentials costs $6 per channel per month, or $5 billed yearly, with unlimited scheduled posts under a 5,000-per-channel fair-use cap. Team costs $12 per channel, or $10 yearly, with unlimited team members. A health coach on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn pays $18 a month, or $15 a month billed yearly, on Essentials. There is a 14-day trial; if you add no payment details, the account drops back to Free.

For this niche, Buffer's Free plan is genuinely usable: three channels and ten queued posts each covers a coach posting three times a week. Start Page, a simple link-in-bio page, comes with every plan. Buffer holds a Trustpilot score of 4.2 from 146 reviews (seen October 28, 2026).

The limit is everything after the post. Buffer does not take bookings, payments or run programs, so every post needs to link to a separate booking tool, and your intake forms, agreements and check-ins sit somewhere else again.

Pick it over Coachful if you need TikTok, Pinterest or Google Business Profile publishing, want a working free plan for three channels, and already run your practice on another platform you are happy with.

3. Later: a visual Instagram grid for coaches whose feed is the storefront

Later's public homepage as captured in October 2026
Later's homepage in October 2026.

Health coaches with a strong visual brand (recipe photos, meal-prep flat lays, colour-coded carousels) often like Later because it lets you plan how the Instagram grid will look before anything publishes. Later posts to Instagram, Facebook Pages, Threads, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube (Shorts only) and Snapchat. X support ended on August 28, 2025, and Bluesky and Google Business Profile are not supported.

As listed in October 2026: a Free plan (documented in the help center) allows 12 posts per profile per month, one profile per network, no analytics and no carousel or Stories scheduling. Starter costs $25 a month, or $18.75 a month billed yearly, for 1 user, up to 8 profiles, 30 posts per profile per month, 5 AI credits a month and 3 months of analytics. Growth costs $50, or $37.50 yearly, for 2 users, 180 posts per profile and 50 AI credits; it is also where the Social Inbox for Instagram and Facebook DMs and comments starts. Scale costs $110, or $82.50 yearly. The 14-day trial requires a card and converts automatically unless cancelled.

Every plan includes a Link in Bio page that can collect email sign-ups to Mailchimp or CSV, useful for a free recipe guide. What it cannot do is book a consultation, take payment for a program or deliver check-ins.

Public reviewers are unhappy: Later shows 1.4 on Trustpilot from 352 reviews (seen October 28, 2026). Read recent reviews about billing and support before committing to a yearly plan.

Pick it over Coachful if Instagram grid aesthetics drive your sales, you need Pinterest or TikTok, and you want platform analytics and a DM inbox in the same tool.

4. Metricool: for coaches who want numbers behind every post

Metricool's public homepage as captured in October 2026
Metricool's homepage in October 2026.

Metricool pairs scheduling with analytics and competitor tracking, which suits a health coach testing whether gut-health reels outperform hormone carousels. It connects Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky, Google Business Profile, Twitch and LinkedIn (LinkedIn on paid plans only), and X only through a $10-a-month add-on.

The Free plan covers 1 brand, 20 scheduled posts a month, 30 days of analytics and 5 AI credits per brand, but no LinkedIn or X. Starter, for up to 5 brands, costs $25 a month or $20 a month yearly, with publishing under a fair-use policy, unlimited analytics history and 20 AI credits per brand. Advanced, from $53 a month yearly, adds unlimited team members. Metricool does not list a standard paid-plan trial; the Free plan plays that role.

Two features matter for this niche. SmartLinks, a link-in-bio page, is on every plan. Flows automates Instagram comment-to-DM and keyword DM replies on paid plans, so a reel that says "comment GUIDE" can send your lead magnet automatically. Trustpilot shows 4.1 from 690 reviews (seen October 28, 2026).

The gap is the same as with every pure scheduler: no booking pages, agreements, payments or programs. If you coach on LinkedIn (common for corporate wellness), the free plan is not enough.

Pick it over Coachful if analytics history, competitor benchmarks and comment-to-DM automation matter more to you than having posts, bookings and programs in one account.

5. Planoly: an Instagram planner with a small storefront attached

Planoly's public homepage as captured in October 2026
Planoly's homepage in October 2026.

Planoly began as a visual Instagram planner and now auto-posts to Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads and Pinterest. X is reminder-only, and Bluesky and Google Business Profile are not supported.

Pricing as listed in October 2026: a free mobile-app plan with 10 uploads a month; Starter at $16 a month or $14 yearly for 1 Social Set (one account per network), 1 user and unlimited uploads; Growth at $28, or $24 yearly, for 2 Social Sets and 2 users; Pro at $55, or $47 yearly, for 6. All paid plans include a 14-day free trial.

What makes Planoly relevant to health coaches is Creator Store, included on every paid plan: a link-in-bio storefront for digital downloads, e-courses, memberships, live events and paid 1:1 consultations, with no Planoly cut of sales (Stripe or PayPal fees still apply). Paid 1:1 bookings support availability windows, buffers, Google Calendar sync and Zoom or Google Meet links. That gets you from a post to a paid discovery call without a second tool.

It stops there. There are no coaching agreements, no habits, check-ins or nutrition targets, and no client record that tracks how someone is doing in week six. Trustpilot shows 3.2 from 61 reviews (seen October 28, 2026).

Pick it over Coachful if you mainly sell low-cost digital products such as recipe e-books from Instagram, need Pinterest or TikTok, and do not run multi-week programs.

6. Publer: bulk uploads and recycling for an evergreen health library

Publer suits a health coach with a back catalogue of evergreen tips (hydration, fibre, sleep hygiene) who wants to schedule them in bulk and recycle the best ones. Its pricing page, read on the day of writing, lists integrations with Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Bluesky, Google Business Profile, Mastodon, X, Telegram, YouTube (long-form and Shorts), WordPress and TikTok, plus bulk scheduling of up to 500 posts from a CSV.

The Free plan is listed as 1 user, 1 workspace, 3 social accounts (X excluded), 10 scheduled posts per account at a time, 25 saved drafts, 24 hours of post history and the Linkie link-in-bio integration. Professional adds unlimited scheduling, first-comment scheduling, unlimited workspaces and X. Business adds unlimited AI prompts, analytics, best times to post and competitor analysis. Paid plans are priced per social account (every 10th account is free) with two months free on yearly billing. The dollar figures load dynamically and did not appear in the page we retrieved, so we cannot verify Publer's paid prices here; check them on Publer's site before you decide.

For health coaches, the recycling and bulk tools save real time once you have 50 or more good posts. Publer does not take bookings, run programs or handle client payments.

Pick it over Coachful if you want to bulk-upload and automatically recycle a large evergreen library across many networks, including TikTok and Pinterest.

7. Practice Better: practice management for clinically minded coaches

Practice Better's public homepage as captured in October 2026
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Practice Better is a practice management system for wellness and nutrition practitioners: scheduling, telehealth video, charting, billing, programs, a client portal and secure messaging. It does not list a social media scheduler on its pricing page, so it belongs in this list as the place your posts might point to, not as the tool that publishes them.

As listed in October 2026: Sprout is free for 3 clients and 1 practitioner. Starter costs $35 a month or $25 yearly for 10 clients. Professional costs $69 or $59 yearly for 300 clients, adding group scheduling, fixed-date programs, deposits and payment plans. Plus costs $99 or $89 yearly for unlimited clients, with evergreen programs, portal branding and a personalized URL. Team starts at $155, or $145 yearly. Add-ons include an AI charting assistant from $10 per practitioner per month and SMS at 5 cents per text. Trials run 14 days (30 on Team).

The fit for this niche is charting: a dietitian-adjacent coach who keeps detailed clinical-style notes may prefer it. The trade-off is that Practice Better lists no website builder or funnel pages, so a post has nowhere to land except a booking link, and you still need a separate scheduler. Trustpilot shows 3.8 from 87 reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

Pick it over Coachful if charting and telehealth notes are central to your work and you are happy running a scheduler and a website in two more tools.

8. Hootsuite: an enterprise suite with a shared inbox

Hootsuite's public homepage as captured in October 2026
Hootsuite's homepage in October 2026.

Hootsuite is built for marketing teams. It connects Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky and Google Business Profile, plus WhatsApp messages in its inbox. Every plan includes Hootbio (link-in-bio) and a unified inbox for comments and DMs, which is the strongest reason a health coaching business with a team might choose it.

Pricing is per user, as listed in October 2026: Standard costs $149 a month, or $99 a month billed yearly, for up to 10 social accounts and 100 AI credits. Professional costs $299, or $199 yearly, with unlimited accounts and DM automations. Advanced costs $499, or $399 yearly. There is no free plan; the 14-day trial needs no card but limits posting volume and bulk scheduling.

For a solo health coach, $99 a month for scheduling alone is hard to justify, and Hootsuite has no booking calendar, client programs or payments for your services. Public reviewers are critical: Trustpilot shows 1.3 from 556 reviews (seen October 28, 2026).

Pick it over Coachful if you run a multi-person wellness brand where several staff answer comments and DMs from one inbox and you need competitor benchmarking.

9. Paperbell: one flat price for session admin, nothing for social

Paperbell's public homepage as captured in October 2026
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

Paperbell is all-in-one admin for solo coaches: a coaching website, scheduling, payments and packages, a client portal, contracts, email workflows, forms, group coaching, notes, digital downloads and online classes. Like Practice Better, it does not list a social scheduler, so it competes for where your posts land.

There is a single plan at $97 a month, or $970 a year (about $80.83 a month), with unlimited clients. There is no free plan; a trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee are listed. Paperbell says there are no additional transaction fees beyond Stripe or PayPal processing.

For health coaches, the gap is between-session work: Paperbell's documented features do not include goal or habit tracking, check-ins, nutrition targets, courses or a community, and there is no native mobile app. A twelve-week gut-reset program would need another tool for the daily part. Trustpilot shows 3.5 from 14 reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

Pick it over Coachful if you sell sessions and packages rather than programs, want PayPal, and prefer one fixed price regardless of client count.

10. Sprout Social: listening and reporting at agency prices

Sprout Social sits at the top of the market. Its pricing page, read on the day of writing, lists Essentials at $79 per seat per month billed yearly ($99 billed monthly) for up to 5 social profiles, with optimal send times and post-level reporting. Standard costs $199 per seat per month yearly, adding a consolidated inbox, keyword monitoring and review management. Professional costs $299 and Advanced $399 per seat per month. Every plan includes 100 AI agent credits per seat. There is a 30-day free trial with no credit card required.

For a health coach, Sprout's listening tools could show what people are asking about perimenopause or blood sugar, and its reports are polished. But the price is set for brands with marketing staff, and it has no booking, payments or client delivery.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a funded wellness company with a social media manager who needs listening, sentiment and presentation-ready reports.

11. Stan Store: a link-in-bio shop that DMs your followers

Stan Store is not a scheduler. It is a link-in-bio storefront for digital products, courses, memberships and paid calls, which many health coaches use as the destination for Instagram posts. As listed in October 2026, Creator costs $29 a month or $25 yearly and includes calendar booking, a course builder, lead magnets and AutoDM for Instagram. Creator Pro costs $99, or $79 yearly, adding email broadcasts and flows, upsells, discount codes, funnels and pixels. There is a 14-day trial, and Stan takes 0% of sales on top of Stripe or PayPal fees.

For health coaches, Stan works well for a low-priced meal plan download or a paid consult. It has no contracts, invoices or client records, and no programs with tasks, habits or check-ins. Trustpilot shows 4.7 from 2,205 reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

Pick it over Coachful if you sell mostly low-ticket digital products from Instagram, want PayPal, and schedule posts with a separate tool anyway.

12. ManyChat: comment-to-DM automation, not scheduling

ManyChat automates Instagram, Facebook Messenger, TikTok and Telegram conversations: comment-to-DM replies, keyword triggers, story replies and welcome messages to new followers. It does not schedule posts. Health coaches pair it with a scheduler so a reel that says "comment SLEEP for my evening routine checklist" sends the checklist automatically.

As listed in October 2026, the Free plan allows 25 active contacts a month and 2 channels, without email collection. Essential costs $17 a month or $14 yearly for 250 active contacts (then $0.10 per extra contact on monthly billing), adds data collection and removes ManyChat branding. Pro costs $39 or $29 yearly for 2,500 contacts and adds AI replies and integrations. Pricing scales with active contacts, not clients, so a viral post can raise your bill.

Pick it over Coachful if DM automation is the core of your Instagram strategy and you are prepared to run it alongside a scheduler and a booking tool.

How do the features compare side by side?

The matrix below shows what each tool covers from post to client. "Not listed" means the vendor does not document it on the pages we used.

The pattern is clear. Schedulers win on networks and analytics; practice tools win on client delivery. Coachful is the only option here that publishes posts and runs the program the post sells.

What does each option cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Schedulers do not charge by client, so their price stays flat; practice tools do. The figures below are monthly prices on yearly billing, as listed in October 2026, for a health coach posting to Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. They are examples for comparison, not quotes.

The useful comparison is the stack. A coach using Buffer for posts plus Practice Better for clients pays $15 plus $59 at 15 clients, still has no website or funnel, and logs into two tools. Add a website builder and an email tool and the bill and the logins keep growing.

How does a health coach set this up in Coachful, step by step?

Coachful's client Programs view on a laptop beside a meal-prep container and a lemon
The client's Programs view in Coachful, showing a demo group program and its current week, on a laptop beside a meal-prep container.

Here is an example setup for a hypothetical gut health coach launching a 10-week program, from first post to first check-in. Allow a weekend, or request the white-glove build and review it instead.

  1. Define the one next step. Decide what every post leads to for the next eight weeks: a free 20-minute consultation. Write down who it is for and who it is not for (anyone with red-flag symptoms such as unexplained weight loss, blood in the stool or persistent pain should see a doctor first).
  2. Build the booking page. Create a free consultation session type with availability rules, a 15-minute buffer and 24 hours minimum notice. Add intake questions such as current goals and whether a clinician is involved in their care. Connect your Google, Apple or Outlook calendar. Our booking software for coaches page covers the options.
  3. Add a lead-magnet funnel. For followers not ready to book, build a funnel offering a "seven-day fibre ladder" PDF, connected to an email sequence of four messages that ends with the consultation link. Keep emails CAN-SPAM compliant: a postal address and a working opt-out, honored within 10 business days, per the FTC's CAN-SPAM guide.
  4. Publish the link-in-bio page. Put the consultation, the free guide and the program waitlist on your link-in-bio page, and use it as the bio link on Instagram, Threads and LinkedIn.
  5. Batch a week in the Social planner. Ask for post ideas around three themes (fibre, hydration, meal timing), edit the AI caption drafts into your own voice, add a scope line where the topic is sensitive, and schedule to Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Point each post at one destination.
  6. Prepare the paperwork. Set up a coaching agreement with e-signature that states coaching is not medical care, and an offer with a payment plan through your Stripe account.
  7. Build the program. Create the 10-week program with weekly goals, daily tasks such as "add one vegetable at lunch", habits, and morning and evening check-ins. Use the Fitness & Nutrition pack for meal plans and nutrition targets if you work with them. Michelle can draft the first version for you to edit.
  8. Watch the client list, not the likes. Each week, check which clients are thriving, active, quiet or at risk, and reach out to quiet ones before your next batch of posts.

What mistakes should health coaches avoid with social scheduling?

  • Paying for networks you do not post on. Many health coaches pay for TikTok and Pinterest support and post to Instagram and Facebook only. Count the networks you have posted to in the last 90 days.
  • Linking every post to your homepage. A homepage asks the reader to decide. One consultation link or one free guide converts better than "check out my site".
  • Scheduling health claims you cannot support. Batching makes it easy to publish a caption you wrote when tired. Reread for words like "cure", "heal", "reverse" and "detox your liver", and for advice that belongs with a clinician.
  • Posting client results without context or consent. Get written permission, disclose any incentive, and do not present an exceptional result as typical; the FTC guidance above applies to coaches.
  • Stacking five subscriptions. A scheduler, a link-in-bio tool, a booking tool, a course tool and an email tool can cost more than one platform, and each gap between them loses leads.
  • Ignoring the people who already pay you. A post brings one new lead; a client who drifts at week four costs a renewal. Check-ins and habit data tell you who needs attention.

What is the verdict on the best social media scheduler for health coaches?

For most health coaches, Coachful is the best choice because the post, the booking page, the agreement, the payment and the twelve weeks of habits and check-ins all live in one account with one login. Its Social planner covers Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube, which is where most health coaches post, and the free white-glove build removes most of the setup work.

Choose Buffer if you want the cheapest multi-network queue and already have a practice platform. Choose Later or Planoly if Instagram's grid is your shop window. Choose Metricool if you want analytics and comment-to-DM. Choose Practice Better if clinical-style charting is non-negotiable, and accept the extra tools. Hootsuite and Sprout Social only make sense for teams.

Coachful is for coaches who deliver programs, from solo health coaches to small teams. It does not publish to TikTok or Pinterest, has no social analytics or inbox, and is not a clinical records system. To start, take the free trial and ask the team to build your site or funnel for free. Frequently asked questions

What is the best social media scheduler for health coaches?

Coachful is our pick for most health coaches because it schedules posts to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube and runs the booking, payment and program that each post leads to. If you need TikTok, Pinterest or detailed social analytics, Buffer or Metricool are the better dedicated schedulers.

Is there a free social media scheduler for health coaches?

Yes. Buffer's Free plan covers 3 channels with 10 queued posts each, Metricool's covers 20 posts a month for 1 brand (no LinkedIn or X), Later documents a free plan with 12 posts per profile a month, and Publer lists a free plan with 3 accounts. Free plans only schedule posts; you still need somewhere for the bookings they produce.

Can Coachful post to TikTok or Pinterest?

No. Coachful's Social planner publishes to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube. If TikTok or Pinterest is central to your marketing, use a dedicated scheduler for those networks alongside Coachful.

Does Coachful have social media analytics?

No, there is no social analytics dashboard or unified social inbox. Funnels support Meta Pixel and UTM tracking, so you can see which campaigns bring in leads, but follower and engagement reports belong in a tool such as Metricool or Buffer.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

On every plan, the Coachful team builds what you describe, such as a website, funnel, program outline, email sequence or link-in-bio page, inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. You can attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and nothing is invented: gaps are left for you. It does not cover video recording, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing.

What should a health coach post on social media?

Educational posts tied to the problem your program solves, such as simple meal structures, sleep routines or habit-building tips, plus a clear invitation to one next step. Avoid diagnosing, promising cures or advising on medication; coaching is not treatment, and those questions belong with a doctor or registered dietitian.

Can I share client results and before-and-after photos?

Only with written consent, honest context and disclosure of any incentive. The FTC says testimonials must reflect real experiences and that exceptional results need context about what clients generally achieve. Fake or incentivized-for-sentiment reviews are banned under the Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule.

Is Coachful HIPAA-compliant for health coaches?

No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. If you work under a license that requires HIPAA compliance, keep clinical records in a clinical system such as a practice management tool built for that purpose.

How many networks should a solo health coach schedule to?

Two or three that you can post to consistently is usually enough: often Instagram plus Facebook, or Instagram plus LinkedIn if you sell workplace wellness. More networks means more captions to adapt and more comments to answer.

How much does a full health coaching stack cost?

It depends on the tools you combine. As an example, Buffer for three channels ($15 a month yearly) plus Practice Better Professional ($59 a month yearly) costs $74 a month and still lacks a website and funnels. Compare that with an all-in-one plan on our plans page.
