The 7 Best AI Tools for Health Coaches, Compared

The 7 Best AI Tools for Health Coaches, Compared

The best AI tools for health coaches are the ones that can see what your clients actually do between sessions: their check-ins, habits, goals and session notes. A chatbot that writes a nice welcome email is useful for ten minutes. An assistant that knows Maria skipped three evening check-ins and slept five hours all week changes what you say on Thursday's call. So the deciding question is not "which AI is smartest" but "where does the AI sit in my client journey, and what data can it reach?"

Our pick is Coachful, because its AI assistant, Michelle, works from the live practice data in the same place your programs, habits, check-ins, bookings and payments already live, and because an AI Coach can answer selected clients between sessions inside your branded app. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read the "Pick it over Coachful if..." line at the end of every other entry. Some of the six alternatives below beat it for specific jobs.

This guide follows a health coach's client journey in four stages (attract, enroll, deliver, retain), shows which tool covers which stage, then ranks seven tools, prices two ways of building a stack, and walks through a full setup. If you want the wider category first, our parent guide to the best AI tools for coaches covers every niche; this one stays with health coaching.

What does a health coach's client journey need from AI?

Health coaching runs on small daily behaviours tracked over weeks, so AI earns its place mostly in delivery and retention, not just in marketing. Each stage has a different job, and a different risk.

One rule sits over every stage. Health coaching is not medical treatment, and AI does not change that. Health coaches support behaviour change; they do not diagnose, prescribe, or adjust medication. When a client mentions chest pain, disordered eating, a new diagnosis, pregnancy complications or a medication change, refer them to their physician, a registered dietitian or a licensed mental health professional, and make sure any AI that talks to clients is set up to hand those messages to you instead of answering them. The National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching publishes the profession's standards; read them before you let any model near client conversations.

Attract: content that stays inside your scope

Health coaches publish a lot: sleep tips, hydration challenges, blood sugar explainers, menopause series. AI drafts fast, but it also writes confident health claims that you are not qualified to make. What you need here is drafting help for blog posts, emails, lead magnets and funnel pages, plus your own review step before anything goes live. Our guide to email marketing platforms for health coaches covers the sending side.

Enroll: intake that flags, not decides

Your intake form asks about current medical care, medications, goals and red flags. AI can summarize those answers before a discovery call and highlight anything that needs a referral conversation. It should never decide on its own who is safe to coach. We explain the pattern in AI intake triage that keeps follow-up human. Enrollment also needs a signed coaching agreement that states your scope, and a checkout.

Deliver: daily habits and check-ins the AI can read

This is where most health coaching value is created and where generic AI tools fall short. A 12-week program with daily tasks, water and step habits, morning energy scores and evening sleep notes produces exactly the data an assistant needs to brief you before a session. If those check-ins live in a spreadsheet and the AI lives in a browser tab, you are the integration. For the tracking side on its own, see habit tracking apps for health coaches.

Retain: spotting the quiet client early

Health clients rarely quit loudly. They stop logging, then stop replying, then do not renew. AI that flags falling check-in rates and summarizes the last month before a renewal call protects revenue more than any marketing tool. Session summaries matter here too, provided the client agreed to recording; our guide to AI session notes and informed consent has wording you can reuse.

Which AI tool covers which stage of the journey?

Only one tool on this list covers all four stages with AI attached to the client data; the rest cover one or two stages well. The table below shows coverage at a glance, with prices as listed in October 2026.

Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions (habits, check-ins, AI support), total monthly stack cost, and setup effort, including whether someone will build it for you.

How did we choose and rank these tools?

We picked tools a solo or small-team health coach would realistically consider in late 2026, then ranked them against the criteria above. We did not run hands-on tests; we compared what each vendor documents on its own pricing and product pages, the plan data we verified in October 2026, and what public reviewers report.

Three kinds of tool made the list:

  • All-in-one coaching platforms with AI built in (Coachful), where the assistant reads the same client data you coach from.
  • Platforms that hold your clients and offers (Kajabi, GoHighLevel, Practice Better, Simply.Coach), where AI is either metered, credit-based, or not part of the plan details we could verify. We say which.
  • Standalone AI tools (Claude, Fathom) that do one job well and need to be bolted onto something else.

We left out ChatGPT because we could not load its pricing page today to verify current prices, and we will not guess. The advice in the Claude section applies to any general chatbot.

1. Coachful: AI that works from your clients' live check-ins

A coach's client dashboard on a laptop and a client's habit tracker on a phone on a sunlit kitchen table
Coachful's client dashboard with demo client statuses on the laptop and the demo Growing Habits tracker on the phone, beside a water bottle and a bowl of citrus.

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. You get one login; your clients get one app with your branding. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than just sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for anyone replacing four to six separate tools. For health coaches specifically, the Coachful for health coaches page shows the full setup.

Michelle, the assistant that knows your roster

Michelle works from your live practice data rather than a blank chat window. In practice that means you can ask it to build a 12-week program with weekly goals, daily tasks and habits; draft a newsletter or a funnel email sequence; summarize a recorded session; or brief you before a call on what the client logged since you last spoke. It can also give you optional, private feedback on your own coaching against ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8, which is useful if you are working toward a credential. Asking questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. More on how it works on the AI coaching assistant page.

Between-session support with AI Coach

AI Coach is an AI version of you that selected clients can chat with between sessions. You configure it, which matters in health coaching: you decide which clients get it, what it covers, and that symptom questions or medication talk go back to you rather than being answered. Our guide to setting up an AI coaching assistant that stays in its lane has boundary wording you can copy. Here is a short walkthrough of how it works:

The delivery engine the AI reads from

Programs run for multiple weeks with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Each client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments, sessions and an AI briefing, and shows a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. That last field is the retention early-warning system health coaches usually build by hand.

The Fitness & Nutrition pack adds nutrition targets up to calories and macros, meal plans, recipes, food lookup and barcode scanning, private progress photos and measurements, weekly check-ins and challenges. Use those tools inside your scope: general healthy-eating support is coaching, while medical nutrition therapy for a diagnosed condition belongs with a registered dietitian. Details are on the Fitness & Nutrition page.

The client dashboard with status tags and demo insights such as 72% task completion and an 81% check-in rate.

Around that sits the rest of the business: booking pages with intake questions, buffers and time-zone detection; two-way Google, Apple and Outlook calendar sync; built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet and Teams links; coaching agreements with e-signature sent before the first call; and payments through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with one-time payments, subscriptions and payment plans. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee on those payments; you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Courses, a community feed with cohort groups created automatically on enrollment, a section-based website with 30 designed homepage templates, funnels, and email sequences with branching and A/B splits are all included in your Coachful membership. Current plans: (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).

What Coachful does not do

Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available, so wearable data comes in through client check-ins rather than automatically. There are no stock exercise videos (you attach your own), no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you need, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, photos and existing copy, and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. That covers a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline and written material, email sequence, lead quiz, form or automation. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. One recent build was for a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing, who got a five-page site in sage and cream where every button leads to a free 20-minute consultation. Recording videos, logo design, ad management and ongoing marketing are not included. Read more about the free white-glove service.

2. Kajabi: AI credits for course-led health brands

Kajabi homepage promoting its platform for selling courses, communities and coaching
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

Kajabi suits a health coach whose business is shifting from 1:1 coaching toward courses, memberships and a community, for example a gut-health educator with a signature course and a paid group. It is a course, community, website, funnel and email platform for selling knowledge products, and AI arrives as a monthly credit allowance tied to your plan.

Where the AI allowance lands

As listed in October 2026, Basic costs $179/mo ($143/mo annual) and includes 0 AI credits, 5 products and 2,500 contacts. Growth costs $249/mo ($199/mo annual) with 500 AI credits, 50 products and 25,000 contacts. Pro costs $499/mo ($399/mo annual) with 1,000 AI credits and up to 100,000 contacts. So a health coach who wants AI help inside Kajabi is really looking at Growth or above. The standard trial is 14 days; a card is optional, and if you enter one Kajabi places an authorization hold.

The coaching gap

Kajabi treats coaching as products and communities, not per-client plans. There is no habit tracking and no daily client check-in, so the "Maria slept five hours all week" signal never reaches Kajabi or its AI. You would run accountability in a separate app or by email. Payment costs also deserve a look: Kajabi Payments in the US charges 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, falling to 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro, and using a processor other than Kajabi Payments or PayPal adds a further 2% Kajabi fee on Basic (1% on Growth, 0.5% on Pro). Public reviewers on Trustpilot rated it 3.4 from 2,347 reviews in October 2026. Our roundup of course platforms for health coaches compares it with other course-first options.

Pick it over Coachful if your revenue comes mainly from a large self-paced course catalogue and a big email list, you do not need daily habit or check-in tracking for individual clients, and you are comfortable paying for Growth to get any AI credits.

3. GoHighLevel: marketing automation with metered AI

GoHighLevel homepage presenting its all-in-one marketing CRM for agencies and businesses
GoHighLevel's homepage in October 2026.

GoHighLevel (HighLevel) is an agency-first marketing CRM: funnels, websites, calendars, SMS and email, invoicing, contracts, courses and communities, organized around sub-accounts. A health coach running paid ads to a weight-management challenge, with text reminders and a sales team, will find more marketing horsepower here than anywhere else on this list.

What the plan price leaves out

As listed in October 2026, Starter costs $97/mo ($80.83/mo annual) with 3 sub-accounts and unlimited users and contacts; Unlimited costs $297/mo ($247.50/mo annual); Agency Pro costs $497/mo. The catch for AI users is that SMS, email, phone and AI usage are metered and billed separately, with per-unit rates on separate pricing guides rather than the pricing page. Your real monthly bill depends on how much you send and how much AI you run. There is a 14-day trial on any plan, and billing starts automatically when it ends unless you cancel.

Coaching delivery takes workarounds

There is no habit tracking, no client check-in flow and no structured coaching program or task engine; you would simulate those with workflows and forms. There are no built-in video rooms, only Zoom and Google Meet links. For health coaches handling sensitive information, note that HIPAA is a $297/mo add-on, not included on Starter, Unlimited or Agency Pro. Trustpilot showed 4.9 from 15,250 reviews in October 2026, much of it from agencies, which is the audience the product is built for.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a high-volume lead machine with SMS follow-up, a sales team or several brands, you need a HIPAA add-on from your marketing CRM, and you have the time (or an agency) to build coaching delivery out of workflows.

4. Practice Better: the wellness practitioner's records system

Practice Better homepage presenting its practice management software for wellness practitioners
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Practice Better is practice management built for wellness and nutrition practitioners: scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing, programs and a client portal. Of everything here, it feels most like a clinic system, which is exactly why some health coaches who also hold a nutrition or dietetics credential choose it.

Plans, as listed in October 2026

Sprout is $0/mo for 3 clients and 100 MB. Starter is $35/mo ($25/mo annual) for 10 clients. Professional is $69/mo ($59/mo annual) for 300 clients. Plus is $99/mo ($89/mo annual) for unlimited clients and 3 admins, and Team is $155/mo ($145/mo annual) for 2 practitioners, with more at $50 each. Evergreen programs, portal branding, a custom URL and SMS only start on Plus. Trials run 30 days on Team and 14 days on other paid plans. Payments run through Practice Better Payments, powered by Stripe; rates are not listed.

Where AI fits, honestly

The plan details we verified do not list AI features, so if AI drafting or session summaries matter to you, confirm what is available in a demo rather than assuming. An older profile noted there is no website builder or funnel pages, so attracting clients happens elsewhere, and there is one practitioner per account below Team. Trustpilot showed 3.8 from 87 reviews in October 2026. Expect to pair it with a standalone AI tool for drafting and a separate site for marketing.

Pick it over Coachful if you chart like a practitioner, want a practice system designed around clinical-style records, or work in a setting that requires a vendor BAA (ask Practice Better directly whether it signs one).

5. Simply.Coach: structured programs on a small budget

Simply.Coach homepage presenting its coaching practice management platform
Simply.Coach's homepage in October 2026.

Simply.Coach is a coaching practice platform built around contracts, programs, sessions, booking pages and a client portal, with business and enterprise tiers for coaching companies. A health coach who sells a defined package (say, a 3-month lifestyle program to a handful of clients) and wants tidy contracts can get going cheaply.

The cap structure to read first

As listed in October 2026, Starter is $9/mo for 3 active coachees, 1 contract and 1 program. Essentials is $29/mo ($24.17/mo annual) for 7 coachees and 3 contracts or programs. Growth is $49/mo for 30 coachees and 10 contracts or programs, and Leap is $69/mo for unlimited coachees, contracts and programs. Every solo tier below Leap caps clients, contracts and programs, so a growing health practice moves up quickly. There is a 14-day trial with no card required, no refunds for mid-period cancellations, and automated invoices were marked "Coming Soon" on the solo pricing page. Transaction fees are not stated.

AI and between-session delivery

As with Practice Better, the plan details we verified do not list AI features, and there is no documented habit or daily check-in engine of the kind health programs lean on. You would likely add a habit app and a chatbot to fill those gaps. Our comparison of client accountability portals for health coaches covers the delivery side in more depth.

Pick it over Coachful if you coach very few clients on a fixed package, care most about contracts and session tracking, and want the lowest possible entry price while you test the business.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

Build your platform

6. Claude: a general assistant for drafting and thinking

Claude, made by Anthropic, is a general-purpose AI assistant on web, desktop and mobile. For health coaches, its strengths are writing and reasoning: turning your rough notes into a lead magnet on sleep routines, rewriting a program welcome email in a warmer voice, drafting quiz questions, or helping you plan a menopause workshop outline. It has no client app, no booking and no knowledge of your clients unless you paste it in.

Prices on its pricing page, checked 25 October 2026: Free is $0. Pro is $20/mo billed monthly, or $17/mo with an annual subscription ($200 billed up front), with more usage, projects and research. Max starts at $100/mo. The Team plan is $25 per standard seat billed monthly ($20 billed annually) for teams of 2 to 150.

The privacy line health coaches must hold

The pricing page lists model training as opt-out on Free, Pro and Max, and shows a HIPAA-ready offering only on Enterprise. In plain terms: do not paste identifiable client health details into a personal chatbot plan. Strip names and specifics, or keep client-specific work inside the platform where that data already lives. HHS explains that HIPAA applies to covered entities and their business associates; many independent health coaches are neither, but some are, depending on who pays them and how. Check with an attorney if you are unsure. The same caution applies to ChatGPT and every other general chatbot.

A general assistant also cannot see check-in trends, so the "brief me before Maria's session" use case means exporting and pasting data every week. That copying is the hidden time cost of an assembled stack. The NIST AI Risk Management Framework is a readable, free reference if you want a structured way to think about which tasks to hand to any model.

Pick it over Coachful if you already run your practice in another system you are happy with and only want a capable writing partner for content and planning, without moving clients anywhere.

7. Fathom: meeting recording and AI summaries

Fathom is an AI meeting recorder: it captures your video calls, transcribes them and writes a summary. For a health coach doing back-to-back 1:1 calls, it removes the end-of-day scramble to write notes, and its "Ask Fathom" feature lets you query a single call in a chat interface.

What the free tier really includes

Plans on its pricing page, checked 25 October 2026: Free is $0 with unlimited recordings and transcriptions, instant AI call summaries, and a choice of bot capture or bot-free capture (in beta). Premium is $20/mo per user billed monthly ($16 annually) and adds advanced summaries, AI action items and the conversational assistant. Team is $19 per user per month with a 2-user minimum, and Business is $34 per user. The page lists AI follow-up emails and a "HIPAA: signed BAA" item in its security section; confirm which plan includes the BAA before you record health conversations.

The limits for coaching use

Fathom is built for sales and customer teams. Its templates reference sales frameworks, and nothing connects the summary to a client's habits, goals or next program week, so you still copy action items into wherever you coach. Consent is the bigger issue: tell clients in your agreement that calls may be recorded and summarized by AI, and offer an opt-out. Our comparison of coaching platforms with session recording and AI summaries covers the alternatives where the summary lands on the client record.

Pick it over Coachful if session notes are your only pain point, you are staying on your current platform, and the free tier's unlimited recordings cover what you need.

How do the AI features compare side by side?

Coachful is the only tool here with AI drafting, session summaries, client-facing AI and a habit and nutrition engine in one place; the trade-off is no HIPAA BAA. "Not listed" means the plan data we verified does not mention it, not that it definitely does not exist.

What does each AI stack cost per month?

An all-in-one stack costs one plan fee; an assembled stack usually lands between about $70 and $270 a month before payment processing, and still leaves gaps. The figures below use list prices as of October 2026 and assume monthly billing. They are examples, not quotes; your mix may differ.

Recipe A: the all-in-one stack

One Coachful plan covers website, funnels, booking, agreements, payments, programs, habits, check-ins, nutrition tools, community, email, Michelle and AI Coach. Plans are flat monthly, lower plans cap the number of clients, and Pro is unlimited. The only add-on cost is Stripe or Razorpay processing and AI credits for confirmed builds.

Recipe B: the wellness-practice stack

Practice Better Professional ($69) for records and programs, Claude Pro ($20) for drafting, Fathom Premium ($20) for summaries: $109 a month, plus a separate website and email tool that we have not priced here, and no habit or check-in engine.

Recipe C: the course-led stack

Kajabi Growth ($249) for courses, community and AI credits, Fathom Free ($0) for call notes, Claude Pro ($20): $269 a month, plus a habit app if you coach individuals.

Recipe D: the marketing-led stack

GoHighLevel Starter ($97) plus metered SMS, email and AI usage, Claude Pro ($20), Fathom Premium ($20): $137 a month before usage, with coaching delivery built from workflows.

The hidden cost in every assembled stack is your time: copying check-in data into a chatbot, pasting summaries into client notes, and keeping three logins and three bills straight. For more on what new coaches overspend on, see mistakes new health coaches make.

How does a health coach set this up in Coachful, step by step?

A working setup takes a few sessions of focused work, and the white-glove team can do the website and first program for you. Here is an example for an illustrative 12-week energy and sleep reset program for adults who feel exhausted by mid-afternoon.

  1. Request the build. Start your free trial, open Create and choose "We'll build it for you · FREE". Describe a site and a booking funnel for a free discovery call, attach your logo, a headshot, your bio and two websites you like. Leave your price and credentials for yourself to add.
  2. Write the intake. Add intake questions to the discovery-call booking page: current energy and sleep, whether the person is under a physician's care, current medications (yes or no, without detail), and goals. Ask Michelle to summarize answers before each call and flag anything that needs a referral conversation, then make that decision yourself.
  3. Send the agreement. Create a coaching agreement that states your scope ("coaching is not medical advice; I will refer you to a medical professional when needed"), your recording and AI-summary policy, and cancellation terms. It goes out for e-signature before the first call and is stored on the client record.
  4. Build the program with Michelle. Ask for a 12-week program with one weekly goal (for example, week 3: a consistent wake time), daily tasks and three habits: water, a 10-minute walk after lunch, and screens off by a set time. Read every line, cut anything that sounds like medical advice, and confirm the build.
  5. Set the check-ins. Add a morning check-in (energy 1 to 10, hours slept) and an evening check-in (afternoon slump yes or no, one win). These become the data Michelle briefs you from.
  6. Add nutrition support within scope. From the Fitness & Nutrition pack, attach a few recipes and a simple meal plan built around regular meals. For clients with a diagnosed condition, keep targets to whatever their dietitian or doctor has set.
  7. Configure AI Coach for selected clients. Turn it on only for clients who want it. Set it to encourage habits, answer questions about program content, and pass any symptom, medication or eating-disorder message straight to you.
  8. Price and take payment. Connect your Stripe account and offer pay-in-full or a three-part payment plan. To set the price, add up your session hours, preparation and support time across the 12 weeks, multiply by the hourly rate you need, and compare against what similar programs in your area charge.
  9. Run the weekly rhythm. Before each call, read Michelle's briefing. Each Friday, sort clients by status and message anyone marked quiet or at risk personally.
  10. Retain. When the program ends, move graduates into an alumni group in the community and offer a lighter monthly check-in plan.

This video shows how check-ins are set up:

How do you migrate without losing client history?

Move active clients first, keep your old system read-only for a while, and never migrate records you should not hold. A few specifics for health coaches:

  • Export before you cancel. Download client lists, notes, intake answers and invoices from your current tools as CSV or PDF. Coachful imports clients, programs and content for you during onboarding.
  • Separate coaching notes from clinical records. If you also practise as a licensed clinician, keep clinical charts in a system built for that. Coachful is not for clinical record-keeping.
  • Move at a program boundary. Switch new cohorts to the new platform and let current clients finish their program where they started, unless they are early in it.
  • Re-sign agreements. Your new agreement should mention the new app and any AI features, so send it to existing clients too.
  • Tell clients what changes for them. A short message with the app download link, how check-ins work and who to contact cuts support questions in the first week.
  • Cancel the overlap. Put a date on cancelling each old subscription so you do not pay for both for months.

What mistakes do health coaches make with AI tools?

The common mistakes are about scope, privacy and overlap rather than about picking the wrong model.

  • Pasting identifiable health details into a personal chatbot. Strip names and specifics, or keep that work inside your coaching platform.
  • Letting AI write meal plans for medical conditions. Diabetes, kidney disease or an eating disorder needs a registered dietitian or physician, not a generated plan.
  • Publishing AI-drafted health claims unchecked. Models state things confidently. Verify every claim or cut it.
  • Recording calls without clear consent. Put it in the agreement and say it out loud at the start of the call.
  • Letting a client-facing AI answer symptom questions. Set escalation rules before you switch it on.
  • Paying for three AI tools that overlap. A chatbot, a notetaker and a platform's built-in AI often do the same drafting job.
  • Treating AI as the coach. Clients pay for your judgment and relationship. Our piece on whether AI will replace coaches explains what stays human.

Which AI tool should a health coach choose?

Choose Coachful if you deliver programs with daily habits and check-ins and want AI that reads that data, briefs you before sessions and supports clients between them, all in one login. It is the strongest fit for most solo and small-team health coaches, with a free white-glove build to shorten setup. Its limits are clear: no HIPAA BAA and no wearable sync.

Choose Practice Better if you chart like a clinician, Kajabi if courses and community are the business, GoHighLevel if high-volume SMS marketing drives everything, and Simply.Coach for the cheapest start with a handful of package clients. Add Claude or Fathom only for a specific gap your platform leaves. If you coach a specific population, such as women in perimenopause, our guide to software for menopause coaches narrows it further.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best AI tools for health coaches?

For most health coaches, the best option is a coaching platform with AI built into the client data, such as Coachful, because the AI can see check-ins, habits and goals. Standalone tools like Claude for drafting and Fathom for call summaries are useful add-ons when your platform lacks those features.

Can AI write meal plans for my clients?

AI can draft general healthy-eating meal plans and recipes for you to review, which sits within health coaching. It should not create plans that treat a medical condition; that is medical nutrition therapy and belongs with a registered dietitian or physician. Always review AI output before a client sees it.

Is it safe to put client health information into ChatGPT or Claude?

Avoid putting identifiable client health details into a personal chatbot plan. Claude's pricing page lists model training as opt-out on Free, Pro and Max and shows a HIPAA-ready offering only on Enterprise. Remove names and specifics, or keep client work inside your coaching platform.

Do health coaches need HIPAA-compliant software?

It depends on how you work. HHS says HIPAA applies to covered entities, such as health plans and providers who conduct certain electronic transactions, and their business associates. Many independent coaches are neither, but coaches working under a clinic or billing insurance may be, so check with an attorney. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified.

Will AI replace health coaches?

AI handles drafting, summaries and reminders well, but behaviour change still depends on trust, accountability and judgment about when to refer. The coaches who benefit use AI to spend more time on the conversation, not less.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

On every plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build a website, funnel, program, course outline, email sequence or other asset inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. You attach up to 8 reference links and 10 files. Nothing is invented, and videos, logo design and ad management are not included.

Does Coachful sync with wearables like Garmin or Oura?

No. Coachful has no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available. Clients report sleep, steps or energy through check-ins and habits instead.

How much does an AI stack cost a solo health coach?

Using October 2026 list prices, assembled stacks in our examples run from about $69 to $269 a month before payment processing and usage fees. An all-in-one platform replaces those with one plan fee (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).

Should I record coaching sessions for AI summaries?

Only with written and spoken consent, and with an opt-out for clients who prefer not to be recorded. State in your agreement who processes the recording and how long you keep it. Summaries save time, but they are a convenience, not a requirement.

Can my clients chat with an AI version of me between sessions?

In Coachful, yes: AI Coach lets selected clients chat with an AI version of you that you configure. Set it to stay within program content and to send symptom, medication or crisis messages to you rather than answering them.
