The 5 Best Course Platforms for Confidence Coaches, Compared

The 5 Best Course Platforms for Confidence Coaches, Compared

The best course platforms for confidence coaches do more than host videos. Confidence grows when a client tries something slightly scary, notices what happened and tries again, so the platform you pick has to carry the practice between lessons as well as the lessons themselves. The deciding question is simple: after a client watches the module on speaking up in meetings, where do they log the rep, rate how it went and get your feedback?

Our pick is Coachful, because it puts the course, daily practice tasks, check-ins, a cohort community, booking and payments behind one login for you and one branded app for your client. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read the four alternatives below: Kajabi, Podia, Thinkific and Teachable are all strong course tools, and each one wins for a particular kind of confidence business. Every price for the other tools is as listed by the vendor in October 2026.

What do confidence coaches need from a course platform?

Confidence coaches need a platform that turns lessons into repeated, tracked action. A pure video library helps a client understand why they freeze; it rarely changes whether they speak up on Thursday.

Psychologist Albert Bandura described four sources of self-efficacy: mastery experiences, watching others succeed, encouragement from others, and how a person reads their own physical state. Mastery experiences carry the most weight. For a course platform, that translates into four practical jobs:

  • Short lessons followed by a task. A five-minute lesson on the "small ask" exercise, then a task to make one small ask today. If the platform can only show a "mark complete" button, the practice lives in a spreadsheet or nowhere.
  • A daily or weekly rating. Many confidence coaches use a 0 to 10 scale before and after a stretch action. We cover how to use that scale well in confidence scaling and the related importance and confidence rulers. Your platform should collect those numbers over time so you can see the trend.
  • A safe group to practise in. Watching a peer give a wobbly first pitch and survive it is the vicarious learning Bandura described. Cohort groups, live practice calls and a community feed matter more here than in most niches.
  • A path from course to coaching. Many confidence businesses run a low-priced mini course on, say, impostor feelings at work, then a signature cohort, then 1:1 coaching for leaders. The platform needs checkout, booking and a client record that follow the same person up that ladder. Our guide to mini courses versus signature courses covers that ladder in detail.

There is also a scope question. Confidence coaching overlaps with topics like impostor feelings, shyness and performance nerves. Coaching is not treatment. If a client describes fear that stops them working, avoiding most social situations, panic, or low mood that lasts for weeks, refer them to a licensed mental health professional; the U.S. National Institute of Mental Health describes social anxiety disorder as more than shyness and explains how it is treated. Put that scope line in your course welcome lesson and your coaching agreement, not only on your website.

If you also need booking, CRM and contracts reviewed in more depth, our wider guide to the best software for confidence coaches compares seven tools across the whole practice. For a general category view, see the 12 best course creation platforms for coaches.

Build your platform

Which course platform is best for confidence coaches at a glance?

How we ranked them: one login for the whole client journey, between-session practice delivery, total stack cost once booking and email are counted, and setup effort (including whether someone will build it for you).

5. TeachableCheap start for one recorded confidence courseStarter $39/mo plus 7.5% fee; Builder $89/mo with 0% feeNo

How did we choose these five platforms?

We started from what a confidence client actually does in a typical week: watch a short lesson, attempt a stretch action, rate it, share it with a group or coach, and occasionally book a call. Then we checked each platform's documented features and listed prices against that week.

  • Sources. Vendor pricing pages and help documentation as listed in October 2026, plus public review sites. We did not run paid accounts for every tool, so we describe what vendors document and what public reviewers report.
  • Shortlist. We kept tools that confidence coaches commonly consider for courses. Link-in-bio stores and all-in-one marketing suites are mentioned where relevant but not ranked, because they do even less for daily practice than the course tools here.
  • Cost. We priced each tool at 5, 15 and 40 active clients and noted transaction fees, because a 5% or 7.5% cut on a cohort launch adds up fast.
  • Fit. A platform that is excellent for selling a self-paced course scored lower if the client's practice had to live somewhere else.

1. Coachful: best overall for confidence courses that lead into coaching

A tablet with a habit tracker and a laptop with check-in flows on a sunny window seat
Coachful's demo habit tracker and check-in flow library, the between-lesson layer a confidence course needs.

Coachful is a coaching platform where a course is one part of the client's journey rather than a separate product on a separate site. One subscription covers booking, payments, coaching agreements, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. You log in once; your client opens one app with your branding inside the Coachful app.

For a confidence coach, the useful part is what sits around the lessons. Coachful's courses have modules, lessons, drip release and completion tracking, and they are delivered into the same branded home where the client sees their program, goals and habits. That means the lesson "Saying no without a speech" can sit next to a daily task to decline one small request, a habit card that counts the days they practised, and an evening check-in asking how confident they felt from 0 to 10.

How the practice layer works

Programs in Coachful run over multiple weeks with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars, and streaks. A six-week confidence program might set a weekly goal such as "Speak first in two meetings", with daily tasks that build toward it. Check-ins collect the client's ratings and reflections, and the client record pulls them together with notes, intake answers, sessions and payments. Each client gets a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, which is handy in confidence work because the clients who go quiet are often the ones who hit a hard rep and avoided the next one.

This short walkthrough shows how programs are built and delivered:

Groups, booking and selling

When a client enrolls in a program, Coachful creates a cohort group automatically, with a community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events. You can run group practice calls and webinars from the same place.

The client's Programs view in demo data: an enrolled group program, its current week and its members.

For 1:1 work, booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time zones, sync two ways with Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendars, and either use built-in video or create Zoom, Meet or Teams links automatically. Intake questions on booking let a new client tell you which situation scares them most before the first call.

Payments go through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps and coupons. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee (since August 2026), so only Stripe or Razorpay processing applies. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call, which is where your scope line belongs. A section-based website builder, funnels for lead magnets and checkouts, and email sequences with triggers and branching are all included in your Coachful membership. See the course platform page and Coachful for confidence coaches for more on each.

Templates and Michelle

If you are staring at a blank course, there are 48 course templates with quizzes and more than 40 ready-to-film program templates. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data: she can draft a program outline, write the launch emails, summarize recorded sessions and brief you before a call. Questions and planning are included in the membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. You can also set up an AI Coach, an AI version of you that selected clients can chat with between sessions, which a confidence coach could configure for "I have a presentation in an hour, help me prepare" moments.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want, and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, brand guide or existing course outline. The Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. For a confidence coach, that could be the course outline and written material for a mini course, a funnel that offers a free "first brave conversation" worksheet, or a site where every button leads to a discovery call. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you. It does not include recording your videos, logo design or ad management. One recent build gave a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. More examples are in our white-glove service write-up.

Price and limits

Plans are flat monthly; lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and team plans add coach seats (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Monthly plans cancel in one click and there is a free trial.

What it does not do: Coachful is not a course marketplace, so it will not send you buyers the way a directory might. It is not HIPAA-certified and is not for clinical record-keeping. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There are no third-party plugins.

Who it is for: confidence coaches who deliver programs and not just recordings, solo coaches growing into a small team, and anyone replacing four to six tools. To start, open the trial and request the white-glove build on day one.

2. Kajabi: best for confidence coaches with a large audience

Kajabi homepage promoting courses, communities and marketing tools
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

Kajabi suits the confidence coach who already has a sizeable email list or social following and sells several knowledge products at once: a public speaking course, a membership and a community. It combines courses, communities, a website, funnels and email in one product, and its marketing tools are mature.

What it offers this niche. You can package a confidence curriculum as a course, run a paid community for alumni who want ongoing accountability, and build launch funnels around a free webinar on overcoming self-doubt. Kajabi treats coaching as products and communities rather than per-client plans, which works if most of your revenue comes from one-to-many offers.

Listed price (October 2026). Basic is $179/mo ($143/mo annual) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community and 0 AI credits. Growth is $249/mo ($199/mo annual) with 50 products, 25,000 contacts and 500 AI credits. Pro is $499/mo ($399/mo annual). The standard trial is 14 days. Kajabi Payments in the US charges 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, slightly less on higher plans; using another processor adds a Kajabi fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth and 0.5% on Pro.

Where it falls short. Kajabi has no habit tracking and no daily client check-ins, so the "do one brave thing today and rate it" layer has to be improvised with community posts or a separate tool. The Basic plan's five-product cap fills quickly once you add a mini course, a signature course, a community and a coaching offer. Kajabi's Trustpilot score was 3.4 from 2,347 reviews when we checked on October 25, 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if your business is mainly courses and community sold to thousands of people, you rarely work 1:1, and you want Kajabi's marketing depth more than a daily practice layer for each client.

3. Podia: best simple storefront for a first confidence course

Podia homepage promoting a simple storefront for courses and downloads
Podia's homepage in October 2026.

Podia is the lightest option here. If you have one mini course on, say, handling criticism at work, a downloadable worksheet and a few paid sessions, Podia lets you sell all of them from one clean storefront without much setup.

What it does for confidence coaches. Podia sells courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and community access. A new confidence coach can launch a low-priced course, add a community space for students to share their small wins, and offer a paid session as an upsell. Its Trustpilot score was 4.1 from 153 reviews when we checked on October 25, 2026.

Listed price (October 2026). Mover is $49/mo ($42/mo annual) with a 5% Podia transaction fee and 100 email subscribers included. Shaker is $99/mo ($84/mo annual) with 0% Podia fee and 500 email subscribers. Earthquaker is $179/mo ($150/mo annual) with 1,000 email subscribers. Stripe or PayPal processing (2.9% + 30¢ standard) applies on top. The trial is 14 days with no card required.

Limits to plan around. The included email subscriber numbers are small, which matters because a confidence business usually grows through a free lead magnet and nurture emails. Podia has no mobile app and no native video calls, according to our older profile, so live practice sessions run through another tool. There are no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans.

Pick it over Coachful if you only want to sell one or two self-paced products this year, you are comfortable handling practice and accountability over email or a separate tool, and the lowest monthly bill matters more than the Mover plan's 5% fee.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

4. Thinkific: best for a deep course catalogue

Thinkific homepage promoting its course and community platform
Thinkific's homepage in October 2026.

Thinkific is a mature course platform built around structured learning. It fits a confidence coach who wants to build a catalogue: a foundations course, separate tracks for workplace confidence and dating confidence, and perhaps a course licensed to an employer for staff training.

Strengths for confidence work. Thinkific supports communities with spaces and live community events, memberships, and coaching or webinar products. The Start plan allows up to 10,000 current students and 5 live community events, with a maximum group size of 50, which covers most confidence cohorts. If your offer is heavy on structured curriculum and quizzes, Thinkific's course tools are deep.

Listed price (October 2026). Start is $109/mo ($82/mo annual), Grow is $219/mo ($164/mo annual) and Expand is $499/mo ($374/mo annual). Prices rose about 10% on August 13, 2026. There is a 30-day free trial. Thinkific charges no transaction fee through Thinkific Payments; third-party gateways carry an extra per-plan fee that the pricing page does not quantify. A branded mobile app is a $199/mo add-on.

The gap. Thinkific has no built-in 1:1 scheduling, and our older profile notes that coaching relies on external booking links. There are no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans. Its Trustpilot score was 1.8 from 868 reviews when we checked on October 25, 2026, so read recent reviews on support before committing.

Pick it over Coachful if you are building a multi-course academy with thousands of students, you sell to companies as well as individuals, and 1:1 coaching is a small side offer handled elsewhere.

5. Teachable: best low-cost start for one recorded course

Teachable homepage promoting courses and digital products
Teachable's homepage in October 2026.

Teachable is a course and digital-product platform with student mobile apps. Its Starter plan is the cheapest entry point in this list, which makes it tempting for a confidence coach testing whether a recorded course on "confident networking" will sell at all.

How confidence coaches tend to use it. Upload short video lessons, attach a workbook, and sell the course through Teachable checkout. Students can take lessons on their phones, which suits clients who review a quick lesson on the way to the meeting they are nervous about.

Listed price (October 2026). Starter is $39/mo ($29/mo annual) with 5 products and a 7.5% platform fee. Builder is $89/mo ($69/mo annual) with 10 products and 0% platform fee. Growth is $189/mo ($139/mo annual) with 50 products and 5 admins. Teachable Payments processing for US cards is 2.9% + 30¢. The plan cards show a 7-day free trial plus a 30-day guarantee.

Watch-outs. The 7.5% fee on Starter means that on a $2,000 cohort launch (an illustrative figure) you would hand over $150 before processing. Teachable has no native scheduling or calendar sync; according to our older profile, coaching calls rely on Calendly or Zoom. There are no habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans. Its Trustpilot score was 3.3 from 1,110 reviews when we checked on October 25, 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if you want to test a single self-paced course with the smallest possible monthly commitment and you have no plans yet for cohorts, daily practice or 1:1 clients.

How do the features compare for confidence coaching?

Coachful is the only tool here that covers courses, daily practice, booking and contracts in one place. The others are strong at the course itself and leave practice and booking to other tools.

What does each platform cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

For the course tools, the client count barely changes the bill because their limits are products and contacts, not clients. The real difference is what else you have to buy. The other four do not include 1:1 booking with calendar sync or daily check-ins, so add a separate scheduling tool, and often a separate form or e-signature tool, to their totals.

How would a confidence coach set this up in Coachful?

Here is a worked example: a coach launching "Speak Up in Six Weeks", a cohort course for professionals who stay quiet in meetings, with a free lead magnet in front and optional 1:1 coaching behind it. The names and numbers are examples.

A laptop showing a group program and a monitor showing a session calendar in a home studio
A demo group program and a month of scheduled sessions in Coachful, set up for a six-week confidence cohort.
  1. Request the build. On day one of the trial, open Create and choose the white-glove build. Ask for a course outline and written lesson material for six modules, a lead-magnet funnel offering a free "One brave sentence" worksheet, and a homepage. Attach your existing slides or notes.
  2. Shape the course. In the course builder, keep each lesson short, five to eight minutes, and end every lesson with a single action. Module 2, for example, teaches the "pre-commit" technique and ends with "Say one sentence in your next meeting within the first ten minutes." Set drip release to one module per week so the cohort moves together. Our guide to creating a course clients finish has more on lesson length.
  3. Build the program around it. Create a six-week program that links the course, with a weekly goal per module and daily tasks. Add habits such as "One stretch action" and "Two-minute evening reflection". Pick exercises from our list of confidence coaching exercises or 11 research-based exercises.
  4. Add check-ins. Use the morning check-in to ask "What is today's stretch action?" and the evening check-in to ask "How confident did you feel doing it, 0 to 10, and what did you notice?" Over six weeks, those ratings show each client their own trend.
  5. Set up the cohort. Enrolling clients in the program creates the cohort group automatically. Schedule a weekly group practice call where each person delivers a 60-second "speak up" moment. Pin a post that explains the group's ground rules: encouragement first, specific praise, no unsolicited critique. For cohort pacing ideas, see cohort course design.
  6. Connect payments and the agreement. Connect Stripe, create the offer with a payment plan, and attach a coaching agreement that clients sign before the first call. Include the scope line: this is coaching, not therapy, with a sentence on when you will suggest a mental health professional.
  7. Open a 1:1 booking page. Add a paid session type for graduates who want to prepare for a specific presentation or promotion conversation, with intake questions such as "What is the situation, and when is it?"
  8. Write the emails. Ask Michelle to draft a five-email sequence for worksheet downloads, ending with the cohort invitation. Edit the drafts in your own voice before sending.
  9. Watch the client list. During the cohort, check who is marked quiet or at risk. In confidence work, a missed check-in after a hard rep is often the moment to send a short, kind message.

What mistakes should confidence coaches avoid when choosing a course platform?

  • Selling knowledge when clients need reps. A beautiful video course about confidence with no practice structure produces informed but unchanged clients. Choose a platform that can assign and track the action after each lesson, or plan exactly where that will happen.
  • Ignoring the fee on the entry plan. Podia's Mover takes 5% and Teachable's Starter takes 7.5%. Run your launch numbers before assuming the cheaper plan is cheaper.
  • Building a five-tool stack by accident. Course host, booking tool, form tool, e-signature tool and email tool each look cheap alone. Add them up, and count the time clients spend logging into each.
  • Making the course too long. A nervous client facing twelve hour-long modules often stops at module three. Short lessons and early wins build the mastery experiences that confidence depends on. If you are unsure of the right size, read about building a mini course that leads to coaching.
  • Leaving out the scope line. Some people who sign up for a confidence course are dealing with a clinical anxiety condition. Put referral language in your welcome lesson and agreement, and know which local professionals you would suggest.
  • Skipping the group. Seeing a peer try and survive is a core confidence lever. If your platform has no cohort or community option, you lose it.

Which course platform should confidence coaches choose?

Choose Coachful if your course is the start of a coaching relationship: lessons, daily practice, check-ins, a cohort and 1:1 calls all live in one place, and the free white-glove build gets your first offer set up quickly. It is the strongest fit for confidence work because it tracks the reps, not just the video views.

Choose Kajabi if you sell mainly to a large audience and value marketing depth over per-client practice. Choose Podia for the simplest first storefront, Thinkific for a large multi-course academy, and Teachable for the cheapest test of one recorded course. If your confidence work leans toward mindset and belief change, our comparison of course platforms for mindset coaches covers similar ground with a different lens, and coaches running bigger groups should see the best group coaching platforms.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best course platform for confidence coaches?

For most confidence coaches who also coach clients directly, Coachful is the best fit because it combines courses with daily practice tasks, habits, check-ins, a cohort community, booking and payments. If you only sell recorded courses to a large audience, Kajabi or Thinkific are strong course-first alternatives.

Do I need a course platform, or can I just coach 1:1?

You can coach only 1:1, but a short course lets clients learn the frameworks on their own time so sessions focus on their real situations. Many confidence coaches use a mini course as an entry offer and a way to meet future 1:1 clients.

How do I track a client's confidence between sessions?

Use a repeated rating, such as a 0 to 10 scale after each stretch action, plus a short written reflection. In Coachful, morning and evening check-ins and habits collect this automatically and show it on the client record. Course-only platforms usually need a separate form tool for this.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a build service available on every plan. You describe what you want, such as a course outline, funnel, website or email sequence, attach references and files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include filming videos, logo design or ad management, and it never invents testimonials, credentials or prices.

Which platform has the lowest transaction fees for a confidence course?

Coachful charges a 0% platform fee. Kajabi adds no extra fee when you use Kajabi Payments, and Podia's Shaker and Earthquaker plans, Thinkific Payments and Teachable's Builder and higher plans also charge no platform fee. Podia's Mover plan takes 5% and Teachable's Starter takes 7.5%. Card processing fees from Stripe or the vendor's payment system apply in every case.

Can I run a group confidence cohort on these platforms?

Yes, with differences. Coachful creates a cohort group automatically when clients enroll in a program and supports group calls. Kajabi, Podia and Thinkific offer communities, but live practice calls usually run on a separate video tool.

Is confidence coaching the same as therapy for anxiety?

No. Confidence coaching helps people who are functioning well build skills and take action; it does not diagnose or treat anxiety disorders. If a client's fear stops them working or leads them to avoid most social situations, refer them to a licensed mental health professional.

Can I count course and cohort hours toward an ICF credential?

The ICF sets its own rules on which coaching hours count, so check them directly. Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log; our guide to platforms for ICF coaches covers this, and the ICF publishes its core competencies.

Can I move my existing course to Coachful?

Yes. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and the white-glove team can rebuild pages you already have. Our guide to switching platforms without disrupting clients covers timing.
