Top 10 Course Platforms for Yoga Teachers: Ranked and Reviewed

Top 10 Course Platforms for Yoga Teachers: Ranked and Reviewed

The best course platforms for yoga teachers do more than host videos. A yoga course is a practice that has to happen on the mat several times a week, so the platform needs to deliver flows in order, keep students coming back between classes, sell live sessions and class packs, and hold the private students who want one-to-one work. The deciding question is simple: do you only want to sell a video library, or do you want the course, the live classes, the private sessions and the daily practice habit to live in one place?

Our pick is Coachful. We make Coachful, so weigh that, but the reason is specific to yoga teaching: one login holds your on-demand course, your booking page for live and private sessions, payments with subscriptions and session credits, a community, and daily practice habits with check-ins that students see in an app carrying your branding. The nine tools below each win a narrower situation, and every section says when to choose it over Coachful.

Prices for other vendors are as listed on their pricing pages in October 2026. For the wider category, our parent guide to the best course creation platforms covers coaches in general; this article stays with yoga teachers.

What do yoga teachers actually need from a course platform?

Yoga teachers need a platform that turns recorded flows into a practice routine, not a shelf of videos. That means sequenced lessons, a reason to come back tomorrow, live class booking next to the on-demand content, and a way to sell recurring access.

A yoga teacher's catalogue is usually some mix of these formats:

  • A beginner series such as "21 days to a home practice", released one flow per day so nobody jumps to week three on the first night.
  • An on-demand library of flows sorted by length, level and focus (hips, back, sleep, prenatal), sold as a monthly membership.
  • Live online classes on Zoom or a built-in video room, sold as drop-ins, class packs or a subscription.
  • Private sessions for students recovering from a setback, preparing for a teacher training, or wanting a personalised home sequence.
  • Workshops and retreats that need an application or intake form, a deposit and a payment plan.
  • Teacher training content for those who mentor newer teachers: long modules, readings and downloads such as sequencing worksheets.

The student journey is also different from a typical online course. A student often finds you through a free 10-minute flow on Instagram or YouTube, books a live class, buys a beginner series, and then either drifts away or becomes a member. The drift point is where most video-only platforms are weakest: they show completion percentages, but they do not ask the student how their practice went this morning or nudge them on day four.

There is a scope issue too. The US National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health notes that yoga is generally considered safe for healthy people when performed properly under the guidance of a qualified instructor, and that learning yoga on your own without supervision has been associated with increased risks. For an on-demand course that matters: build in level labels, modifications, an intake question about injuries and pregnancy, and a clear line that your course is movement education, not treatment. Students with pain, injuries, pregnancy or health conditions should talk with their health care provider, and you should refer them rather than adapt a flow for a medical problem.

Which platform wins which situation? Quick picks

Ranking criteria, in one line: one login for the whole student journey, delivery between classes (habits, check-ins, drip), total monthly stack cost for a solo teacher, and setup effort, including whether someone will build it for you.

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

How did we choose and rank these ten?

We started from what a working yoga teacher sells (series, library, live classes, privates, workshops) and checked each platform's documentation and pricing page for how much of that it covers without extra tools. We did not run hands-on tests; the notes below reflect what vendors document and what public reviewers report.

Four questions decided the order:

  1. Can a student find, buy, book and practise in one login? Every extra tool is another password for the student and another export for you.
  2. What happens between classes? Drip release, habits, check-ins and reminders are what make a home practice stick.
  3. What does the whole stack cost per month once you add booking, email and payments a platform lacks?
  4. How long until you are selling? Templates and done-for-you setup count.

Platforms built purely for personal-training workouts (Trainerize, TrueCoach and similar) were left out. They are strong on sets and reps but have no course builder, which is the point of this list; our course platforms for personal trainers guide covers that side.

1. Coachful: why is it the best course platform for yoga teachers overall?

A student's program view on a laptop and a habit tracker on a phone, set on a yoga blanket beside a bolster
Coachful's demo program view on a laptop and the habit tracker on a phone, beside a bolster and a singing bowl.

Coachful wins when your yoga business is more than a video library: when you also teach live, take private students and want people practising between classes. It is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. You use one login; your students use one app with your branding.

Courses built for sequenced practice. The course builder organises modules and lessons, releases them on a drip schedule and tracks completion. A "21 days to a home practice" series can open one flow per day, with a PDF of the day's sequence as a download. Beyond courses, you can publish videos, downloads, books, events and bundles, all delivered into the student's branded home and app. If you want a starting point, Coachful includes 48 course templates with quizzes and more than 40 ready-to-film program templates; you replace the content with your own flows. You record your own videos; Coachful has no stock movement library.

The part video platforms skip: daily practice. Programs run for several weeks with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. For a yoga student that can look like a daily habit of "10 minutes on the mat", a morning check-in asking how their body feels, and an evening check-in on sleep or stress. On the coach side, each student record shows goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. A student going "quiet" in week two is your cue to send a short message before they cancel the membership.

This short walkthrough shows how a program is put together:

Live classes and private sessions. Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, which matters when your Sunday flow attracts students in three countries. Calendars sync both ways with Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook. Sessions run on built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. You can sell paid sessions and session credits, which is how a class pack works: a student buys ten credits and books against them. Intake questions on booking let you ask about injuries, pregnancy and experience before the first private. Email reminders are included, and SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) reminders are available once messaging is enabled. Group calls and webinars cover live workshops.

Client Programs view in Coachful showing an enrolled group program and its current week
The client side of Coachful: a demo group program with its current week, members and the way into the program.

Payments and agreements. Payments go through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time purchases, subscriptions for a monthly membership, payment plans for a retreat or training, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax. Coachful takes a 0% platform fee (since August 2026), so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. A coaching agreement with e-signature can go out before a first private or a teacher-mentoring package, and it is stored on the student's record. There is no PayPal option.

Community and cohorts. A community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events sit inside the same app. When a student enrols in a program, Coachful creates the cohort group automatically, so your January beginners have their own space to post "day 6 done" without mixing with long-time members. Our cohort course design guide explains how to pace that kind of group.

Getting found. The section-based website builder includes a blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates, plus an Import website option if you already have a site. Funnels cover booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout pages with pixels and UTM tracking, and a link-in-bio page can sell directly from Instagram. Email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits handle the welcome series for a free flow. Our separate guide to the best website builder for yoga teachers goes deeper on that side.

Michelle, the AI assistant. Michelle works from your live practice data: she can draft a course outline, write the welcome emails, summarise recorded sessions and brief you before a private. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create > We'll build it for you, describe what you need (a website, a funnel for a free flow, a course outline and written lesson material, an email sequence, a link in bio, a workshop page) and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, studio photos and class descriptions. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not include recording your videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. One recent build gives a sense of scale: a somatic coach leaving Kajabi had the homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected. More on how it works in our white-glove service explainer.

Coachful Create page with the We will build it for you card
The Create page in Coachful with the card for requesting the free white-glove build.

What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified and is not meant for clinical records or insurance billing, which suits yoga teachers who stay within movement education. It is not a course marketplace, so students will not discover you by browsing Coachful. There is no permanent free plan, no PayPal, and no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync. The student app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding rather than under your own App Store account. Affiliate tracking covers links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but payouts to affiliate teachers are recorded manually.

Price and how to start. Plans are flat monthly, lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and monthly plans cancel in one click (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Start with a free trial, then request the white-glove build so your first course and booking page are in place while you film. The online course platform page lists the course features in one place.

Pick it over the rest if you teach live, take private students and want the course to feed a daily practice rather than sit in a library.

2. Podia: is it the simplest storefront for a few yoga courses?

Podia's homepage presenting its storefront for courses, downloads and community
Podia's homepage in October 2026.

A teacher with three products (a beginner series, a breathwork download and a monthly live workshop) and no appetite for configuration will find Podia the easiest store on this list to set up. It sells courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and community from one storefront, and its 14-day trial needs no credit card or plan choice, as listed in October 2026.

Pricing is clear. Mover costs $49/mo ($42/mo annual) with 50 products and a 5% Podia transaction fee. Shaker is $99/mo ($84/mo annual) with 150 products and 0% Podia fee. Earthquaker is $179/mo ($150/mo annual) with unlimited products, videos and spaces. Stripe or PayPal processing (2.9% + 30¢ standard) sits on top.

The limits show up as a yoga business grows. Email subscriber allowances are small: 100 on Mover, 500 on Shaker and 1,000 on Earthquaker. If your free "morning flow" lead magnet works, you can outgrow the included list quickly. Our September 2026 profile also recorded no mobile app and no native video calls, so live classes run on an outside Zoom account and students practise from a mobile browser. There are no habits, check-ins or per-student plans, so the home-practice nudge has to come from your emails.

For a teacher mostly selling recorded workshops to an existing audience, those gaps may not matter. For one who wants students on the mat four mornings a week, they do.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell a handful of recorded products, accept PayPal, run live classes on your own Zoom, and want the lightest possible storefront rather than a student app.

3. Kajabi: when does a big on-demand yoga library justify the price?

Kajabi's homepage presenting its course, community and website platform
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

Kajabi earns its place when your business is an established on-demand library with a large email list and a marketing funnel that already converts. It combines courses, community, website, funnels and email in one product built for selling knowledge products.

As listed in October 2026, Basic costs $179/mo ($143/mo annual) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, one community and 0 AI credits. Growth is $249/mo ($199/mo annual) with 50 products, 25,000 contacts and 500 AI credits. Pro is $499/mo ($399/mo annual). Kajabi Payments in the US charges 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, slightly less on higher plans; using another processor (other than PayPal) adds a Kajabi fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth and 0.5% on Pro. The trial runs 14 days; if you enter a card, Kajabi places an authorization hold and charges on the day the trial ends, and some features such as bulk contact import stay locked until you pay.

For a yoga teacher, the 5-product cap on Basic is the first constraint: a beginner series, an intermediate series, a prenatal course, a membership and a workshop replay already fill it. The 2,500-contact cap is the second, since free flows attract many sign-ups who never buy. Kajabi has no habit tracking or daily student check-ins; coaching happens through products and communities rather than per-student plans. Public reviewers on Trustpilot give it 3.4 from 2,347 reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

A note from our own work: one of the recent white-glove builds was for a somatic coach leaving Kajabi, which tells you something about who looks for a simpler, cheaper setup once privates and programs grow. Our guide to switching platforms without disrupting clients covers the move.

Pick it over Coachful if you already run a large list with mature Kajabi funnels, your revenue comes mostly from on-demand products, and you do not need booking, habits or check-ins in the same place.

4. Teachable: is it the cheapest serious home for one beginner series?

Teachable's homepage presenting its course and digital product platform
Teachable's homepage in October 2026.

Teachable fits the teacher who wants to launch a single structured course, say "Yoga for desk workers in 30 days", with a proper student mobile app and minimal monthly cost. It is a course and digital-product platform, and its student apps let people follow lessons on a phone propped beside the mat.

Starter is $39/mo ($29/mo annual) with 5 products and up to 1TB of video, but it takes a 7.5% platform fee on every sale. Builder at $89/mo ($69/mo annual) removes that fee and allows 10 products; Growth at $189/mo ($139/mo annual) allows 50 products and 5 admins. Teachable Payments processing for US cards is 2.9% + 30¢ (international 3.9% + 30¢), with a $15 chargeback fee. The plan cards show a 7-day free trial plus a 30-day guarantee, all as listed in October 2026.

Run the numbers on that 7.5%: on $2,000 of course sales in a month, Starter takes $150 before processing, which is more than the Builder upgrade costs. So Starter is for testing, not for a launch you expect to sell.

The gaps are on the live side. Our September 2026 profile recorded no native scheduling or calendar sync; coaching calls rely on Calendly and Zoom. There are no student habits, daily check-ins or per-student plans. For live classes and privates you would add a booking tool and a video account, and students would hop between them.

Pick it over Coachful if your offer is one or two recorded courses, you do not teach live online, and a dedicated student course app matters more to you than booking and practice tracking.

5. Momence: what if you run a studio timetable as well as courses?

Momence's pricing page for its studio and class booking software
Momence's pricing page in October 2026.

Momence is the tool for a yoga teacher who runs or co-runs a studio with a weekly class timetable, memberships and packs. It is studio and class business software covering booking, memberships, packs and marketing, built around classes and appointments rather than one-to-one programs.

There is no public pricing. As listed in October 2026, you get a quote after a conversation, and a "Start free trial" link leads to sign-up without stating length or terms. Stripe processing fees appear in transaction details, according to its help center. Public reviewers on Trustpilot give it 4.1 from 420 reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

For a studio, class-level booking with capacity, packs and memberships is the core need, and Momence is designed around it. For a solo teacher building a course business, the trade-offs are different: you cannot compare cost without a sales call, and its strength is the timetable rather than sequenced course delivery or per-student practice plans. Many studio owners pair a tool like this with a separate course platform, which brings back the two-login problem for students who take both live classes and on-demand series.

If your on-demand courses are a side product to a busy studio schedule, that split can be acceptable. If the course is becoming the main business, it is worth comparing the full stack cost against one platform.

Pick it over Coachful if you manage a physical studio with a public class timetable, room capacity and front-desk check-in, and the online course is a secondary product.

Which one looks like you?

6. Arketa: who should choose it for class bookings?

Arketa's pricing page showing the Individual and Studio plans
Arketa's pricing page in October 2026.

Arketa suits a solo instructor whose income is mostly bookings for classes and appointments, with one location and no staff. It is booking and studio-management software for fitness and wellness studios and instructors.

The Individual plan is $49/mo billed annually, with 1 team member login and 1 location, as listed in October 2026. It adds a 3% Arketa transaction fee on top of Stripe (US 2.9% + $0.30). Studio Core covers unlimited team members, locations and rooms, while Studio Growth and Studio Suite are custom. A "Start Free Trial" button sits on Individual, but the length and card requirement are not shown. The branded app, marketing suite and website are add-ons or top-tier features with unpublished prices.

Do the fee maths for a typical month. A teacher taking $3,000 through Arketa pays $90 in Arketa fees on top of $49 and Stripe processing, so the real platform cost is closer to $139 that month. With Trustpilot showing 2.6 from 7 reviews (seen October 25, 2026), there is little public review data to lean on either way.

Arketa's pricing page centres on booking and studio operations; check its course and on-demand features against your plans before you build a full series there, because we could not confirm their depth from the pricing page alone.

Pick it over Coachful if nearly all your revenue is class bookings, you want studio-style scheduling tools, and you are comfortable with a percentage fee instead of a flat plan.

7. Thinkific: does a yoga teacher training school need it?

Thinkific's homepage presenting its course and community platform
Thinkific's homepage in October 2026.

A yoga school running 200-hour style trainings for dozens of trainees, with several lead trainers needing admin access, is where Thinkific makes sense. It is a course platform with communities, memberships and coaching or webinar products, and it is built for volume.

As listed in October 2026, Start costs $109/mo ($82/mo annual) with 10,000 current students, 2 admins, one community with 10 spaces and 5 live community events. Grow is $219/mo ($164/mo annual) with 6 admins; Expand is $499/mo ($374/mo annual) with 15 admins. Prices rose about 10% on August 13, 2026. There is a 30-day free trial on every self-serve plan. With Thinkific Payments there is no Thinkific transaction fee and the processing rate is around 2.9%; third-party Stripe or PayPal gateways add a per-plan gateway fee whose amounts are not listed.

For a solo teacher, Thinkific is a lot of platform. The branded mobile app is a $199/mo add-on, which matters if your students practise from their phones. Our September 2026 profile recorded no built-in one-to-one scheduling, so privates rely on external booking links. There are no student habits, daily check-ins or per-student plans. Public reviewers on Trustpilot give it 1.8 from 868 reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

Where it shines is the training-school scenario: many trainees, multiple trainers, long modules and readings, and an admin structure that keeps it organised.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a teacher training program with many trainees and several co-trainers, and you need a large-scale course structure more than private sessions or daily practice tracking.

8. LearnWorlds: which yoga teachers need quizzes and interactive video?

LearnWorlds' pricing page showing Starter, Pro Trainer and Learning Center plans
LearnWorlds' pricing page in October 2026 (shows euro prices).

LearnWorlds is built for structured learning: quizzes, SCORM packages and interactive video. For a yoga teacher, the scenario is an anatomy or philosophy module in a teacher training, where you want trainees to answer questions inside the video before moving on.

Starter is $29/mo ($24/mo annual) for 1 admin and 1,000 active learners per month, but it charges $5 per paid enrollment. Pro Trainer at $99/mo ($79/mo annual) removes that fee and adds 5 admins, 2,000 active learners per month, 20 SCORM packages, 15 page funnels and 2,000 mass emails a month. Learning Center is $299/mo ($249/mo annual). There is a 30-day free trial with core features, and LearnWorlds says no credit card is required, though the school is scheduled for deletion if not upgraded. All as listed in October 2026.

That $5 per enrollment hits low-priced yoga products hardest. A $15 mini-series loses a third of its price to the fee before processing. Active-learner caps per month also matter for a popular free flow: every student who logs in that month counts. The branded mobile app is a separately priced add-on, and LearnWorlds is not built for one-to-one client management, habits or check-ins. Public reviewers on Trustpilot give it 4.8 from 423 reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

If you sell low-priced flows, look at the mini course guide before choosing a plan with a per-enrollment fee.

Pick it over Coachful if your main product is an academic-style training with graded quizzes, interactive video or SCORM requirements, and you do not need booking or practice tracking.

9. Stan Store: can you sell yoga flows straight from Instagram?

Stan Store's homepage presenting its link-in-bio storefront for creators
Stan Store's homepage in October 2026.

When your audience lives on Instagram or TikTok and you want a tap-to-buy page for a $19 flow pack or a paid call, Stan Store gets you selling in an afternoon. It is a link-in-bio storefront for digital products, courses, memberships and paid calls.

Creator costs $29/mo ($25/mo annual) with unlimited products and customers; Creator Pro costs $99/mo ($79/mo annual). Stan takes 0% ("keep 100% of every sale") and standard Stripe or PayPal processing applies. There is a 14-day free trial, after which the first month is charged, according to its help center. As listed in October 2026.

The catch is what sits behind the bio link. Email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates are only on the $99 Creator Pro plan, so a welcome sequence for your free flow costs the higher tier. There are no contracts, invoices or client records; it is not a CRM. There are no programs with tasks, habits or check-ins, and no team seats are advertised. Public reviewers on Trustpilot give it 4.7 from 2,205 reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

A yoga teacher whose business is impulse purchases from short videos will like the speed. One building a membership with live classes will soon need something behind it. Coachful's link-in-bio page that sells covers the same front door, so you do not need a separate tool for it.

Pick it over Coachful if you only sell small digital products and paid calls from social media, want PayPal, and do not need student records, programs or a community.

10. Systeme.io: is a free plan enough to test your first yoga course?

Systeme.io's homepage presenting its funnels, email and course suite
Systeme.io's homepage in October 2026.

Systeme.io is the zero-budget way to test whether anyone will pay for your first series. It is a low-cost marketing suite with funnels, email, courses, community, blog and an affiliate program, and it charges 0% transaction fees on every plan, including free.

As listed in October 2026, the Free plan includes 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 500 students, 1 blog, 1 custom domain, 1 automation rule and 1 email campaign, with no credit card required and no expiry. Startup is $17/mo (5,000 contacts, 10 funnels, 5 courses), Webinar is $47/mo and Unlimited is $97/mo. Public reviewers on Trustpilot give it 4.9 from 8,696 reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

For a first test, one course and a funnel are enough: a free 10-minute flow, an email sequence, and a paid beginner series. The limits arrive when you add live teaching and privates. Our September 2026 profile recorded no native one-to-one scheduling with client records, habits or check-ins, basic community and course features, and no branded mobile app. So students practise from the browser and book live classes somewhere else.

A sensible path is to validate one offer here, then move to a platform that holds the whole student journey once you are adding classes, packs and private students.

Pick it over Coachful if you cannot spend anything yet, only need one course and a funnel to test demand, and are happy to add booking later.

How do the ten compare feature by feature?

Coachful is the only platform here that covers courses, booking, subscriptions, a community and daily practice tracking without add-ons. The matrix below uses each vendor's listed features in October 2026 and our September 2026 profiles where noted in the sections above.

What do three realistic yoga teacher stacks cost per month?

A single platform is usually cheaper than a stack once you teach live and privately. These are illustrative examples using monthly list prices as listed in October 2026, before payment processing.

Stack A: the all-in-one teacher. A teacher with a beginner series, a monthly on-demand membership, two live online classes a week sold with session credits, and five private students. Everything runs in Coachful: course, booking, payments, habits, community, website and email. Monthly cost: Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients. Add Stripe or Razorpay processing only.

Stack B: the booking-first instructor. Arketa Individual for live class bookings ($49/mo billed annually, plus 3% of bookings) and Podia Shaker for courses and email ($99/mo, or $84/mo annual). That is $133 a month on annual billing before Arketa's 3% and processing, and two logins for students.

Stack C: the social-first starter. Stan Store Creator for selling from the bio link ($29/mo) and Systeme.io Startup for the course and email sequence ($17/mo), with live classes on a separate Zoom account and bookings by message. That is $46 a month, plus Zoom, with no student records, no class packs and three places for students to look.

StackToolsMonthly cost as listedStudent logins
Coachful (Stack A)Coachful onlySolo: $49/month for up to 20 clients1
Stack BArketa Individual + Podia Shaker$133 (annual billing) + 3% of bookings2
Stack CStan Store Creator + Systeme.io Startup + video tool$46 + video tool3

Stack C looks cheapest, but it has no welcome email sequence on Stan's Creator plan, no habits, and no class packs. If you need email from Stan you are on the $99 Creator Pro plan, and the gap closes. For pricing your own offers, see our membership platforms guide, which compares how recurring access is billed.

How would a yoga teacher set up Coachful, step by step?

A typical first week looks like this:

  1. Request the build. From Create > We'll build it for you, ask for a five-page site, a free-flow lead-magnet funnel and a welcome email sequence. Attach your logo, class photos and your class descriptions.
  2. Outline the series. Use a course template or ask Michelle to draft a 21-day outline, then edit the flow titles and modifications in your own words.
  3. Film and upload. Record each flow, add a downloadable sequence card, and set drip release to one lesson per day.
  4. Add the practice layer. Create a program with a daily "on the mat" habit and a short morning check-in about energy and any discomfort.
  5. Open booking. Set up a live class session type sold with credits and a private session type with intake questions about injuries, pregnancy and experience.
  6. Price it. Create a one-time price for the series, a monthly subscription for the library and live classes, and a payment plan for your retreat or training.
  7. Launch to a small group. Enrol your first students; the cohort group appears automatically, and the client list shows who goes quiet.

If you are new to selling courses, how to create an online course clients finish covers structure in more depth, and the best platform for yoga teachers looks at the business beyond courses.

What mistakes do yoga teachers make when choosing a course platform?

  • Buying a video host and calling it a course. Without drip release and a practice nudge, most students watch day one and stop.
  • Ignoring percentage fees on low-priced flows. A 5% to 7.5% fee or $5 per enrollment matters most on $10 to $30 products.
  • Splitting live classes and on-demand content. Students who have to remember two logins tend to use one.
  • Skipping the intake. Ask about injuries, pregnancy and experience, and refer students with medical concerns to their health care provider.
  • Paying for a contact cap you will outgrow. Free flows grow lists fast; check the contact limit before the email limit.

Which course platform should a yoga teacher choose?

Choose Coachful if you teach live, take private students and want your course to become a daily practice: it is the only platform here that holds the course, booking with class credits, memberships, a community and habit check-ins in one app with your branding, and the free white-glove build gets your site and funnel ready while you film. Choose Momence or Arketa if a studio timetable is the core of the business, Thinkific or LearnWorlds for a large or quiz-heavy teacher training, Stan Store for social-first impulse sales, and Systeme.io to test a first idea at no cost.

Coachful is a coaching platform for teachers and coaches who deliver programs, not only sessions; it does not replace medical care, a course marketplace or a studio's front-desk system. To start, take the free trial and request the white-glove build. You can also see how it compares on the coaching software page.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best course platform for yoga teachers?

For most yoga teachers who teach live and on demand, Coachful is the strongest fit because the course, booking, memberships, community and daily practice tracking sit in one app. Podia is the simplest store for a few recorded products, and Momence suits teachers running a studio timetable.

Can I sell class packs and a course on the same platform?

Yes, on some. Coachful sells session credits that work like a class pack alongside courses and subscriptions. Video-first tools such as Teachable and Thinkific usually need a separate booking tool for live classes.

Which platform is cheapest for a yoga teacher just starting?

Systeme.io has a free plan with one course and 2,000 contacts, as listed in October 2026. It works for testing an idea, but you will add booking and a video tool once you teach live.

Do I need a branded app for my yoga students?

Not strictly, but students often practise with a phone beside the mat. Coachful's student app carries your branding inside the Coachful app; Thinkific and LearnWorlds sell branded apps as add-ons, and Podia had no mobile app in our September 2026 profile.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

On every plan, you describe what you want built, such as a website, funnel, course outline or email sequence, and attach up to 8 links and 10 files. The Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours, without inventing credentials, testimonials or prices. Recording videos, logo design and ad management are not included.

Should I worry about student injuries in an on-demand course?

Yes. The NCCIH notes that learning yoga without supervision has been associated with increased risks, so label levels, show modifications, ask about injuries and pregnancy at sign-up, and tell students with health conditions to speak with their health care provider. Your course is movement education, not treatment.

Can I drip a 21-day yoga challenge one day at a time?

Most course platforms here support drip release, including Coachful, Kajabi, Teachable and Thinkific. Coachful adds daily habits and check-ins, so you can see who practised on day four, not just who opened the video.

Do these platforms take a cut of my sales?

Some do. As listed in October 2026, Teachable Starter takes 7.5%, Podia Mover takes 5%, LearnWorlds Starter charges $5 per paid enrollment, and Arketa Individual adds 3%. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee; you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing.

Can I move my existing yoga library from Kajabi or Teachable?

Yes. With Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and the white-glove build can rebuild your homepage and funnels. Plan the switch around a quiet week so live classes are not interrupted.
