The 10 Best Funnel Builders for Course Creators, Compared

The 10 Best Funnel Builders for Course Creators, Compared

The best funnel builders for course creators do more than publish a sales page. They capture the lead, run the email sequence, take the payment (with an order bump or a payment plan), and then hand the buyer straight into the course, the cohort or the coaching package without a second login. The deciding question is simple: after someone pays, does your funnel tool deliver what they bought, or does it pass them to three other apps?

Our pick is Coachful, because the funnel, checkout, course, community, email and 1:1 coaching all live in one account, and the buyer lands in one branded app. We make Coachful, so weigh that, but every claim below about other tools comes from what those vendors list on their own pricing and feature pages. Below you will find 10 tools ranked, a feature matrix, a cost table and a step-by-step cohort launch setup.

What do course creators actually need from a funnel builder?

Course creators need a funnel builder that matches how they sell: free lead magnets, webinars and challenges up front, a checkout with upsells in the middle, and delivery of a course, cohort or membership at the end. Most also sell a higher-ticket tier (group coaching, a mastermind or 1:1 calls), and that is where generic funnel tools fall short.

Here is the typical journey we planned the ranking around:

  • Top of funnel. A free mini course, a quiz, a PDF guide or a 5-day challenge. See our guides to the quiz funnel and the 5-day challenge funnel for the page-by-page build.
  • Nurture. A multi-step email sequence that branches on behavior (opened, clicked, registered for the webinar, bought).
  • Sales event. A live or evergreen webinar, a launch week or a cart-open window. Our webinar funnel guide covers pages, emails and timeline.
  • Checkout. One-time price, payment plan or subscription, plus an order bump (a workbook, a template pack, a single coaching call) and coupons for early-bird windows.
  • Delivery. Modules and lessons with drip, completion tracking and quizzes; a cohort group or community; live calls on a calendar.
  • Ascension. The step from a self-paced course to a cohort, group program or 1:1 package, which usually needs booking, a contract and a client record.

The scope problem shows up at the last two steps. A pure funnel builder is excellent at pages and email but treats the course as an add-on with tight caps. A pure course platform delivers lessons well but gives you basic landing pages. And neither usually knows that a student who finished Module 4 is now a good candidate for your coaching package. If you are still choosing where the course itself lives, read our best course creation platforms roundup and the online course platform comparison; this article is about the funnel side.

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

How did we choose and rank these tools?

We started from what course creators sell and how buyers move through it, then scored each tool against four questions. Tools are ranked on what the vendors document; we did not run test launches on each platform.

  1. Does the buyer get one login? If your lead magnet, course, community and coaching calls sit in four tools, students lose the thread and you lose the upsell moment.
  2. Can you deliver between live calls? Cohort courses need drip, check-ins and a group space, not just a video library.
  3. What does the whole stack cost? We counted the funnel tool plus whatever you would still need to buy for booking, contracts, email or community, and any transaction fees.
  4. How much setup does it take? Templates, migration help and done-for-you builds all count, because a funnel that takes six weekends to assemble is a launch that slips.

Vendor prices are as listed in October 2026 unless we say we checked the pricing page in November 2026. Ratings quoted are Trustpilot figures seen in October 2026.

1. Coachful: the funnel, the course and the coaching in one account

A laptop showing a course builder with modules and lessons in a small filming corner
Coachful's course builder with a demo masterclass's modules and lessons, on a laptop in a filming corner.

Coachful is a coaching platform where the funnel is one part of a single system. One subscription covers the website and funnels, checkout, email sequences, courses, community, booking, contracts and program delivery, with one login for you and one branded app for your students. For a course creator, that means the person who downloads your free guide, buys your course and later upgrades to coaching stays in the same contact and client record the whole way.

How do Coachful funnels work for a course launch?

Coachful includes booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels, with Meta Pixel, GA4 and UTM tracking so you can see which ad or post produced a sale. There are about 25 funnel templates to start from, and the section-based website builder (with a blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates) sits next to them. A link-in-bio page can sell directly, which suits creators who launch from Instagram.

Coachful's Funnels page with three demo funnels: a free webinar, a lead magnet and a program launch.

Checkout runs through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account and supports one-time prices, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Stripe Tax. Coachful takes a 0% platform fee (since August 2026), so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Every transaction gets an invoice, and you can send manual invoices for corporate buyers.

Email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences are included in your Coachful membership, with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits. That covers the webinar reminder sequence, the cart-open series and the post-purchase onboarding without a separate email tool. Here is a short walkthrough of building a funnel:

What happens after the student pays?

This is where Coachful separates from funnel-only tools. Courses support modules, lessons, drip release and completion tracking, and there are 48 course templates with quizzes. You can also sell downloads, videos, books, AI tools, events and bundles, all delivered into the client's branded home and app.

For cohorts, Coachful creates a cohort group automatically when someone enrolls in a program, and the community includes a feed, group chat, direct messages and video events, plus group calls and webinars. Multi-week programs add weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, progress bars and streaks, which is what turns a video course into a cohort with completion. More than 40 ready-to-film program templates help you outline one.

The client's Programs view in demo data: an enrolled group program, its current week and its members.

When a student wants more, the coaching side is already there: booking pages with availability rules and two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync, built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links, paid sessions and session credits, and coaching agreements with e-signature sent before the first call. Each client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. That status is useful for course creators: a student marked quiet in week three is a student to email before they ask for a refund.

What else helps a course business?

  • Instagram automations. Someone comments a keyword on your post and gets your lead magnet, webinar page or checkout link in a DM, and lands in the same Coachful lead records.
  • Social planner. Draft posts with AI help and schedule them to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube from one calendar.
  • Michelle, the built-in AI assistant. Works from your live data to draft emails and content and build programs. Questions and planning are included in the membership; confirmed builds use AI credits.
  • AI Coach. An AI version of you that selected clients can chat with between sessions, configured by you.
  • Affiliates. Tracks links, clicks, conversions and revenue; payouts are recorded manually, not sent by Coachful.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE" (or the "Want us to build it for you?" card on the Funnels page), describe what you want, and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, brand guide and course outline. The Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. For a course creator that might be a lead-magnet funnel, a webinar registration funnel, a sales page, an email sequence or a course outline with written material. Nothing is invented: no fake testimonials, credentials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. Recording your videos, logo design and ad management are not included. One recent build gave a real-estate and money coach a year-long cohort program with an application form, an eight-page site and a free nine-day bootcamp funnel. Read more about the free white-glove service.

What Coachful does not do

Coachful is not a course marketplace, so it will not send you buyers the way a marketplace listing might. It does not support PayPal, there is no permanent free plan, and it has no third-party plugins. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not in your own App Store account. There is no HubSpot or Salesforce integration and no multi-stage sales deal board for large teams. If you want to leave, you can export client data as a ZIP and export your courses.

Price: flat monthly plans; lower plans cap the number of clients and Pro is unlimited (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Monthly plans cancel in one click, and you can start with a free trial. More on the funnel side at coaching funnel software and on delivery at online course platform for coaches.

2. Kajabi: the established course-and-community suite

Kajabi homepage promoting its course, community and website platform for creators
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

Kajabi is built for selling knowledge products, and course creators have used it for years because courses, a community, a website, funnels and email all sit together. If your business is mostly self-paced courses with a paid community on top, Kajabi covers the core funnel-to-delivery path without extra tools.

Prices as listed in October 2026: Basic $179/mo ($143/mo annual) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 1 website, 2 admin users and 0 AI credits; Growth $249/mo ($199/mo annual) with 50 products, 25,000 contacts and 500 AI credits; Pro $499/mo ($399/mo annual) with unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 3 communities and 3 websites. The standard trial is 14 days, and a card is optional.

The limits matter for a growing catalog. Five products on Basic disappears quickly once you count a mini course, a flagship course, a community and a bundle. Kajabi Payments charges 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic (lower on higher plans), and using a processor other than Kajabi Payments or PayPal adds a Kajabi fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth or 0.5% on Pro. Kajabi treats coaching as products and communities rather than per-client plans, so there are no habit trackers or daily check-ins for a cohort. Trustpilot showed 3.4 from 2,347 reviews in October 2026.

For course creators, Kajabi is a strong choice when the course is the whole business and you want a mature ecosystem. It becomes expensive when you add a coaching tier, because you still need booking, contracts and client tracking elsewhere, or you live with Kajabi's simpler coaching products.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell mostly self-paced courses, want a long-established platform with a large creator ecosystem, and do not plan to run structured 1:1 or cohort coaching with check-ins.

3. ClickFunnels: when the funnel itself is the product

ClickFunnels homepage promoting its funnel and sales page builder
ClickFunnels's homepage in October 2026.

ClickFunnels is the name most course creators hear first, and for good reason: it is a funnel and sales-page builder at heart, with email, courses, community, a store and appointments added as apps. If you run paid traffic and want to test page variants for a webinar or a tripwire offer, ClickFunnels is designed around that workflow.

As listed in October 2026: Launch $97/mo ($81/mo annual) with 10K contacts, 50K emails a month, 2 team members, 5 domains, 3 courses and 3 communities; Scale $197/mo ($164/mo annual) with 75K contacts and 6 courses and communities; Optimize $297/mo ($248/mo annual) with 150K contacts and 10 courses and communities; Dominate is listed at $499.75/mo on annual billing. There is a 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee, and ClickFunnels takes 0% commission on sales, with processor fees on top.

For a course business, the cap to watch is courses: three on Launch means a lead-magnet mini course, a flagship course and one bonus. ClickFunnels has no client habits, check-ins or structured 1:1 coaching programs, so a cohort with accountability or a coaching upsell needs more software. An older profile also notes that funnels are proprietary and not portable, which matters if you might switch later. Trustpilot showed 4.7 from 2,512 reviews in October 2026.

Our general guide to building a coaching funnel applies here too: the tool matters less than the offer, the page and the follow-up email.

Pick it over Coachful if your growth depends on paid ads and constant page split-testing, your courses are few, and delivery beyond video lessons is not part of your offer.

4. Systeme.io: the cheapest way to run a first launch

Systeme.io homepage promoting its all-in-one marketing suite and free plan
Systeme.io's homepage in October 2026.

Systeme.io is a low-cost marketing suite with funnels, email, courses, community, a blog and an affiliate program. Its free plan never expires and needs no credit card, which makes it the default for a course creator validating a first idea before spending money.

As listed in October 2026: Free $0 with 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course with up to 500 students, 1 blog, 1 custom domain, 1 automation rule and 1 email campaign; Startup $17/mo with 5,000 contacts, 10 funnels and 5 courses; Webinar $47/mo with 10,000 contacts, 50 funnels and 20 courses; Unlimited $97/mo with unlimited contacts, funnels, courses and automation rules. Systeme.io charges 0% transaction fees on every plan, including Free; Stripe or PayPal processing applies.

Where it falls short for course creators is depth after the sale. The vendor notes describe community and course features as basic, with no branded mobile app (older profile) and no native 1:1 scheduling with client records, habits or check-ins. That is fine for a self-paced course, less fine for a cohort where completion depends on weekly accountability. One automation rule on the free plan is also tight once you want behavior-based email. Trustpilot showed 4.9 from 8,696 reviews in October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if you want to validate a first course without paying anything, PayPal checkout matters to your audience, and you can live with basic delivery until the idea is proven.

5. Kartra: pages, email, memberships and a helpdesk together

Kartra homepage promoting its pages, email and membership marketing suite
Kartra's homepage in October 2026.

Kartra bundles pages, funnels, email and SMS, memberships, calendars and a helpdesk. Course creators with a larger list sometimes choose it because email and SMS are unlimited from the Starter plan up, and the helpdesk handles student support tickets in the same account.

As listed in October 2026: Essentials $59/mo ($52/mo annual) with 500 contacts, 5 pages, 1 product, 1 membership or course and 10,000 emails a month; Starter $119/mo ($99/mo annual) with 2,500 contacts, unlimited pages, products and memberships, unlimited email and SMS and 5 team members; Growth $229/mo ($189/mo annual) with 12,500 contacts and 3 domains; Professional $549/mo ($429/mo annual) with 25,000 contacts. A 14-day free trial is offered on any plan, with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Essentials is too small for most course launches: one product and 500 contacts, plus a 5% transaction fee. Starter removes that fee and the page cap, so most course creators would realistically start there. Kartra has no client habits, check-ins or per-client coaching plans, and an older profile notes there is no mobile app for students and that funnels and memberships are not portable. Trustpilot showed 3.2 from 129 reviews in October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if you want SMS broadcasts and a built-in support helpdesk for a large student base, and your offer stays within memberships and courses rather than coaching programs.

6. Practice Better: programs for health practitioners, not a funnel builder

Practice Better homepage promoting its practice platform for health practitioners
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Practice Better is an all-in-one practice platform aimed at health practitioners such as nutritionists, dietitians, functional medicine practitioners and health coaches. It earns a place here for one kind of course creator: the practitioner who sells self-paced or group programs to clients and needs clinical-style charting alongside. It is a direct alternative to Coachful for that audience, but it is not a funnel builder in the usual sense.

We checked its pricing page in November 2026. Starter is $35/mo monthly ($25/mo annual) for 10 clients; Professional $69/mo ($59/mo annual) for 300 clients, adding group scheduling, fixed-date programs and payment plans; Plus $99/mo ($89/mo annual) with unlimited clients, evergreen and self-paced programs, portal branding and SMS reminders; Team $155/mo ($145/mo annual) with 2 practitioner licenses. A free Sprout plan supports 3 clients. The Team plan has a 30-day trial and other paid plans 14 days.

For course creators, the gap is the top of the funnel. The pricing page lists scheduling, telehealth, billing, forms, programs and a client portal, but no sales page or funnel builder, so you would still need a separate tool for lead magnets, webinars and checkout pages. Self-paced programs also require the Plus plan. If you are a health course creator, our roundup of funnel builders for health coaches goes deeper on that niche.

Pick it over Coachful if you are a licensed practitioner who needs charting, ePrescribe or insurance billing alongside your programs, and you already have a separate funnel tool.

7. Thinkific: a course school with cohorts and landing pages

Thinkific comes at this from the course side. It is a course platform first, with communities, memberships, coaching and webinars, landing pages and email automation added around it. For a course creator whose priority is the learning experience (quizzes, assignments, certificates and cohorts), Thinkific is a serious option.

We checked its pricing page in November 2026. Start is $109/mo monthly ($82/mo annual) with unlimited courses, live cohorts and coaching with unlimited Zoom sessions and bookable calendars, quizzes, assignments, certificates, bundles, upsells, payment plans, memberships and a custom domain. Grow is $219/mo ($164/mo annual) and removes Thinkific branding, adds 3 communities, bulk enrollment and B2B invoicing. Expand is $499/mo ($374/mo annual) with 10 communities and 15 administrator accounts. There is no free plan; Thinkific offers a 30-day free trial instead.

The funnel side is the weaker half. Thinkific lists AI landing pages and email automation, which covers a single sales page and a welcome sequence, but it does not market multi-step funnels with order bumps in the way ClickFunnels or Coachful do. Branding removal requires Grow, which nearly doubles the cost. Many Thinkific users pair it with a separate funnel or email tool; our guide to email marketing platforms for course creators covers that pairing.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a formal academy with graded assignments, certificates and bulk seats sold to companies by invoice.

8. Podia: a friendly store for courses, downloads and a community

Podia keeps things simple. Every plan includes courses, digital downloads, coaching, a community, events, a website and blog, landing pages, a built-in checkout and sales tax handling, so a creator can sell a course and a template pack from one storefront without wiring tools together.

We checked its pricing page in November 2026, which showed yearly billing: Mover $42/mo ($504 billed annually) with up to 100 email subscribers, a 5% transaction fee, 50 products and 25 spaces; Shaker $84/mo ($1,008 billed annually) with up to 500 email subscribers, no Podia fees, 150 products, affiliate marketing, upsells, PayPal and Zapier; Earthquaker $150/mo ($1,800 billed annually) with up to 1,000 email subscribers and unlimited products. The 14-day free trial needs no credit card. Monthly prices were not shown on the page we fetched, so we have not quoted them.

The email caps are the catch for course creators. A list of 100 subscribers on Mover is smaller than most lead magnets produce in a month, so you either add subscribers or upgrade. Upsells and affiliates are only on Shaker and above. Podia offers migration help for courses and downloads, which is useful if you are leaving another platform.

Pick it over Coachful if you mainly sell digital downloads and a small course catalog, you want PayPal at checkout, and your email list is still small.

9. GoHighLevel: an agency-grade marketing CRM

GoHighLevel homepage promoting its marketing CRM for agencies and businesses
GoHighLevel's homepage in October 2026.

GoHighLevel (HighLevel) is an agency-first marketing CRM with funnels, websites, calendars, SMS and email, invoicing, contracts, courses and communities, organized around sub-accounts. For a course creator, it is most relevant if you run several brands or a team that builds funnels for others.

As listed in October 2026: Starter $97/mo ($80.83/mo annual) with 3 sub-accounts and unlimited users and contacts; Unlimited $297/mo ($247.50/mo annual) with unlimited sub-accounts; Agency Pro $497/mo ($414.17/mo annual). Trials run 14 days on any plan, and billing starts automatically unless cancelled. HighLevel shows no platform fee on sales, but SMS, email, phone and AI usage are metered and billed separately, at rates published on separate guides rather than the pricing page.

The breadth is real, but so is the setup. There is no habit tracking, client check-in or coaching-program engine, so a cohort's weekly accountability would need to be simulated with workflows and forms. There are no built-in video rooms; HighLevel uses Zoom and Google Meet links. For a solo course creator, the metered costs and the agency-style interface are usually more than the job needs. Trustpilot showed 4.9 from 15,250 reviews in October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if you are building funnels for clients or several brands, need sub-accounts and phone or SMS pipelines, and have time to configure workflows.

10. Stan Store: sell a course from your bio link

Stan Store homepage promoting its link-in-bio storefront for creators
Stan Store's homepage in October 2026.

Stan Store is a link-in-bio storefront for selling digital products, courses, memberships and paid calls. Course creators who sell mainly to an Instagram or TikTok audience like how quickly it turns a bio link into a checkout.

As listed in October 2026: Creator $29/mo ($25/mo annual) with unlimited products and customers and one store; Creator Pro $99/mo ($79/mo annual). There is a 14-day free trial on either plan, and Stan takes 0% of sales, with standard Stripe or PayPal processing on top. Trustpilot showed 4.7 from 2,205 reviews in October 2026.

The limits are clear for a funnel. Email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates are only on the $99 Creator Pro plan, so the $29 plan is a storefront, not a funnel. Stan has no contracts, invoices or client records, no programs with tasks, habits or check-ins, and no team seats advertised. That works for a $47 mini course; it gets thin for a cohort or a coaching tier.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell low-priced courses and downloads almost entirely from short-form video, and a storefront matters more to you than a nurture sequence.

How do the features compare side by side?

The table shows what each vendor lists for the jobs a course creator needs. "Not listed" means we did not find it on the vendor's pricing or feature notes we relied on, not that it is impossible.

What will each tool cost at 5, 15 and 40 coaching clients?

Course creators rarely price by client count, but most add a coaching tier, and that is where costs diverge. The table shows the cheapest listed plan that covers a course funnel plus 5, 15 or 40 active coaching clients, on monthly billing. Other vendors cap contacts rather than clients, so we picked the cheapest plan that fits a list of up to about 2,500 contacts (Podia Shaker includes only 500 email subscribers, so a list that size costs more there). These are examples; your list size can push you up a tier.

We used Creator Pro for Stan Store and Shaker for Podia because the cheaper plans lack email or upsells, which a course funnel needs. Add a separate booking or e-signature tool to most rows if you sell coaching, and add transaction fees where the table above lists them.

How would a course creator set this up in Coachful, step by step?

Here is an example launch: a six-week cohort course with a free mini course as the lead magnet, a live workshop as the sales event, and a 1:1 coaching upgrade. The order matters, because each step feeds the next.

Coachful new funnel creation screen
Starting a new funnel in Coachful.
  1. Build the course first. Start from one of the 48 course templates, set six modules, and turn on drip so one module opens each week. Add a quiz at the end of each module. If you are unsure how big to make it, our piece on mini course vs signature course helps you decide.
  2. Wrap it in a program. Create a six-week program around the course with weekly goals, a daily task and a Friday check-in. Enrollment creates the cohort group automatically.
  3. Create the offer and checkout. Set a one-time price and a three-payment plan, add a workbook or a single strategy call as an order bump, and create an early-bird coupon that expires when the workshop starts.
  4. Build the lead-magnet funnel. Use a lead-magnet funnel template for the free mini course, connect Meta Pixel and GA4, and tag UTM links for each channel you post on.
  5. Write the sequence. A five-email sequence after opt-in: the mini course, a story, the workshop invite, a reminder, and the replay. Branch so people who register for the workshop skip the invite email.
  6. Schedule the workshop. Run it as a Coachful event or webinar, and point the last slide to the checkout funnel.
  7. Turn on Instagram automations. Post about the workshop and set a comment keyword that sends the registration link by DM.
  8. Open the coaching tier. Create a paid 1:1 session type with intake questions and attach a coaching agreement for e-signature. Email it to students who complete Module 4.
  9. Watch the client statuses. During the cohort, check who has gone quiet or at risk and message them before week three.

If you would rather not build steps 4 and 5 yourself, send the request through the free white-glove service with your course outline attached, and the team builds the funnel and emails in your account. Then you record the videos.

What mistakes do course creators make when choosing a funnel builder?

  • Choosing on page templates alone. Pretty pages matter less than what happens after checkout. Ask where the buyer logs in on day one.
  • Ignoring the product and course caps. Kajabi Basic stops at 5 products, ClickFunnels Launch at 3 courses, Kartra Essentials at 1. Count your lead magnet, bundles and bonuses before you pick a plan.
  • Forgetting the email cap. Podia's Mover plan includes 100 email subscribers. A good lead magnet passes that in weeks.
  • Adding transaction fees by accident. Kartra Essentials and Podia Mover charge 5%, and Kajabi adds a fee on non-Kajabi processors. On a launch, that can be the cost of a better plan.
  • Treating a cohort like a video library. Completion in a cohort comes from check-ins, a group space and live calls. If your tool cannot run those, plan for it.
  • Building the coaching upsell last. The best time to offer coaching is mid-course. If booking and contracts live in another tool, that offer rarely gets made.
  • Locking yourself in. Several funnel tools do not export funnels. Check what you can export (contacts, courses, client records) before you commit.

Which funnel builder should course creators choose?

Choose Coachful if you sell courses alongside cohorts, memberships or coaching and want the funnel, the checkout and the delivery in one login, with a free white-glove build to get the first funnel live. Choose Kajabi if self-paced courses and a community are the whole business and budget is not the constraint. Choose ClickFunnels if paid traffic and page testing drive your growth. Choose Systeme.io if you need to launch for $0 and accept basic delivery.

The rest fit narrower cases: Kartra for SMS and a helpdesk, Practice Better for licensed health practitioners, Thinkific for formal academies, Podia for simple stores, GoHighLevel for agencies, and Stan Store for bio-link sales. Coachful is a coaching platform for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, and who want to replace four to six tools. It does not do clinical records, PayPal or a course marketplace. To start, take a free trial and ask the team to build your first funnel through the white-glove service.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best funnel builder for course creators?

For course creators who also sell cohorts or coaching, Coachful ranks first because the funnel, checkout, course, community and coaching tools share one login and one client record. For course-only businesses, Kajabi and ClickFunnels are strong alternatives, and Systeme.io is the cheapest starting point.

Do I need a separate funnel builder if my course platform has landing pages?

Not always. A single sales page and a welcome email can be enough for a small course. If you run webinars, order bumps, payment plans and branching email sequences, you need real funnel features, either from your course platform or a separate tool.

Can I sell a cohort course and coaching from the same funnel?

Yes, if the tool handles both. In Coachful, the cohort program, its group and the 1:1 session types with contracts sit in the same account, so you can offer coaching inside the course funnel or the post-purchase emails.

Which funnel builders have no transaction fees?

Coachful, ClickFunnels, Systeme.io and Stan Store list 0% platform fees on sales, and Kartra (Starter and Growth) and Podia (Shaker and Earthquaker) charge no platform fee either. Payment processor fees still apply everywhere.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a free build service on every Coachful plan. You describe a funnel, website, sales page, course outline or email sequence, attach references and files, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management.

Is there a free funnel builder for course creators?

Systeme.io has a free plan with 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels and 1 course that does not expire. Practice Better has a free Sprout plan for 3 clients but no funnel builder. Coachful has a free trial rather than a free plan.

Can Coachful take PayPal payments for my course?

No. Coachful takes payments through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with Apple Pay and Google Pay. If PayPal is essential, Systeme.io, Podia (Shaker and up) and Stan Store list PayPal.

Can I move my existing course into Coachful?

Yes. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and the white-glove service can rebuild your sales pages and funnels. Coachful is not a marketplace, so bring your own audience.

How many funnel templates does Coachful include?

About 25 funnel templates are included in your Coachful membership, covering booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels, alongside 48 course templates with quizzes and more than 40 program templates.
