Best Social Media Scheduler for Career Coaches: Top 10 (2026)

Best Social Media Scheduler for Career Coaches: Top 10 (2026)

The best social media scheduler for career coaches is the one that turns a LinkedIn post into a booked discovery call without a chain of five tools in between. Most career coaches are not trying to grow a brand audience on every network. They want a steady rhythm of useful posts (resume teardowns, interview answers, salary negotiation scripts) that sends the right job seeker to a booking page, a free checklist or a paid package. So the deciding question is simple: where does the post send people, and how many logins does it take to get them from scroll to signed client?

We make Coachful, and it is our pick for most solo career coaches because its Social planner writes and schedules posts to LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads and YouTube, and those posts can point straight at Coachful booking pages, funnels and a link-in-bio page that sells. Dedicated schedulers such as Buffer, Metricool and Hootsuite still win on analytics, TikTok and Pinterest support, team approvals and social inboxes, and we say exactly where each one is the better buy. Below you will find ten tools ranked, a feature matrix, a cost table at 5, 15 and 40 clients, and a step-by-step setup.

What do career coaches actually need from a social media scheduler?

Career coaches need a scheduler that is strong on LinkedIn, handles a small number of networks well, and connects posts to a way of booking or buying. Volume and reach matter less than a clean path from post to call.

The shape of a career coaching practice explains why. Your buyers are mid-career professionals, recent graduates, people coming back after a layoff, and managers eyeing a pivot. They spend their professional attention on LinkedIn, with Instagram, Threads or YouTube as a secondary place for short tips. Very few career coaches need Pinterest. Some use TikTok to reach early-career job seekers, and if that is you, the TikTok-capable tools below deserve a closer look.

The content formats are specific too:

  • Before-and-after rewrites. A weak resume bullet next to a strong one, or a vague LinkedIn headline rewritten for a target role.
  • Interview scripts. "Tell me about yourself" frameworks, behavioural answer structures, questions to ask at the end.
  • Salary and offer posts. Negotiation phrasing, how to respond to a lowball offer, what to ask about total compensation.
  • Job-search seasons. January resets, September hiring pushes, year-end reviews and layoff news cycles all change what people are searching for.
  • Client wins. A promotion or an accepted offer, shared only with written consent and without naming the employer unless the client agrees.

Then there is the client journey. A typical path looks like this: a LinkedIn post offers a free resume checklist, the checklist page collects an email, a short email sequence invites the reader to a 20-minute job search audit, the audit call books with a few intake questions (current role, target role, timeline), and the client buys a package such as a resume rewrite plus interview prep, or a 90-day job search program. A scheduler that only publishes posts covers the first step. Everything after it lives somewhere else, which is why total stack cost and the number of logins matter more here than the number of networks.

Scope deserves a line as well. Career coaches should not promise job offers, placements or salary figures in posts. A scheduler will happily publish "Land a six-figure role in 30 days", but that is a promise you cannot keep and a claim that can attract complaints. Keep posts to what you teach and how you work. For more on running the whole practice, see our guide to the best software for career coaches and the Coachful page for career coaches.

Which social media schedulers are best for career coaches at a glance?

How we ranked them: one login for the whole client journey, LinkedIn publishing that links to booking and checkout, between-session delivery for paying clients, total stack cost for a solo coach, and setup effort (including Coachful's free white-glove build).

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

How did we choose and rank these tools?

We started from what career coaches do every week: write a handful of LinkedIn posts, point them somewhere useful, run discovery calls and deliver packages. Every tool was judged on what its vendor documents and what public reviewers report. We did not run hands-on tests, and we say so wherever a detail could not be confirmed.

  • LinkedIn first. Tools that cannot publish to LinkedIn, or only on paid plans, lost ground.
  • Where the post leads. A post is only as good as the page behind it. Tools that include booking, funnels or a selling link-in-bio scored higher.
  • Total stack cost. A cheap scheduler plus a booking tool, an email tool, a payment tool and a course host often costs more than one platform.
  • Setup effort. Solo coaches rarely have a spare weekend. Build help counts.
  • Honest limits. Post caps, network gaps (Later dropped X in August 2025, for example) and per-user pricing all appear in each section.

Vendor prices come from each pricing page as listed in October 2026. Practice Better and Publer pricing pages were read on the day of writing; Paperbell's pricing page blocked our request, so we do not quote a Paperbell price. Ratings come from Trustpilot as seen in October 2026.

1. Coachful: the scheduler that ends at a booked call

A laptop showing a coaching leads table beside a stack of resumes and a leather portfolio
Coachful's demo prospects table, with lead sources and stages, on a laptop beside printed resumes.

Coachful is a coaching platform with a built-in Social planner, and it ranks first because it is the only tool on this list where the post, the page it links to, the booking, the payment, the agreement and the program all live in one account. For a career coach, that removes the gap where most leads go missing: the moment between "this LinkedIn post was useful" and "I booked a call".

The Social planner. You find it under Sell > How you reach them > Social planner. AI help suggests post ideas and drafts captions, then you schedule and publish to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube from one calendar. Each network publishes separately, so if LinkedIn accepts a post and another network rejects it, you get a notification and a per-network retry rather than a silent failure. That matters when your Monday LinkedIn post is the one that fills the week's audit calls. Coachful does not publish to TikTok or Pinterest, and it does not offer a social analytics dashboard or a unified social inbox. If those are central to your marketing, read the "pick it over Coachful" lines further down.

Where the posts send people. Every post can point to a Coachful booking page, a funnel or the link-in-bio page. A career coach might run three funnels at once: a free resume checklist, a free webinar on interview stories, and an application funnel for a 90-day job search program. Funnels support pixels and UTM tracking, so you can see which campaign drove a sign-up even without a social analytics tool. Coachful includes about 25 funnel templates, and the link-in-bio page can sell a package directly.

Coachful's Funnels page with three demo funnels: a free webinar, a lead magnet and a program launch.

Booking the audit call. Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, which matters when job seekers in another country book a late-evening slot. Calendars sync two ways with Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook. Calls run on built-in video or on auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Intake questions on the booking form capture current role, target role and timeline before the call, and the answers land on the client record. Email reminders are standard; SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) reminders work once messaging is enabled. The Intakes page then shows how many audit calls converted.

The demo Intakes page: total intakes, upcoming calls, conversions and a conversion rate, with a table of intake calls.

After the yes. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, coupons and order bumps. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee (since August 2026); you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first session. Delivery happens in a multi-week program with weekly goals, daily tasks and check-ins, so a client in week three of a job search gets prompts such as "send five tailored applications" and "log one networking conversation" in their branded app. Courses with drip lessons suit a self-paced "interview prep" product, and an automatic cohort group forms when a group program starts. Email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences carry the checklist subscribers toward a call. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data, drafts emails and content, and briefs you before each session. If you hold or are pursuing an ICF credential, Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds.

Here is a short walkthrough of how funnels are built in Coachful:

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create > We'll build it for you · FREE, you describe what you want and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. A career coach can ask for a website, the resume-checklist funnel, a sales page for an interview prep package, a program, an email sequence or a link-in-bio page, and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files (logo, headshot, existing copy, a brand guide). Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. One recent build: a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. Read more about the free white-glove service.

What it costs. Coachful uses flat monthly plans; lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and team plans add coach seats (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Monthly plans cancel in one click and a free trial is available. The Social planner, booking, funnels, email and programs are included in your Coachful membership. Coachful holds a Trustpilot score of 4.5 from 21 reviews.

Limits to know. No TikTok or Pinterest publishing, no social analytics dashboard, no social inbox. No PayPal. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no Salesforce or HubSpot integration, which only matters if you sell outplacement contracts to HR teams that require one.

Pick something else over Coachful if TikTok, Pinterest, a social inbox or detailed post analytics drive your business; one of the dedicated schedulers below will serve you better, and you can still use Coachful for everything after the click.

2. Buffer: the easiest per-channel scheduler for a LinkedIn-first coach

Buffer homepage presenting its social media scheduling and publishing tool
Buffer's homepage in October 2026.

Buffer is a plain, focused scheduler priced per connected channel, which suits a career coach who posts on two or three networks and wants nothing else. It publishes to LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, X, YouTube (Shorts), Threads, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Mastodon and Substack, so it covers every network a career coach is likely to touch.

For this niche, the per-channel model is the attraction. A coach on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook pays $18 per month on Essentials billed monthly, or $15 per month billed yearly, as listed in October 2026. Essentials is $6 per channel monthly or $5 yearly; Team is $12 or $10 per channel and adds unlimited team members, useful if a virtual assistant drafts your posts. Rates fall above 10 channels. The Free plan covers up to 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel at any one time, one user, 100 ideas and 30 days of Insights history. For a coach posting three times a week on LinkedIn, the Free plan's queue of 10 posts per channel refills as each one publishes, so it can carry a light schedule for a while.

Buffer's Start Page is a simple link-in-bio landing page on every plan, though a Start Page counts as a channel for billing. It is a page of links, not a booking flow or checkout, so your discovery call still needs a separate scheduling tool and your packages need a payment tool. A 14-day trial of Essentials or Team is available; without payment details the account drops back to Free, and channels beyond 3 are locked. Instagram personal profiles and Facebook groups are reminder-only. Trustpilot shows 4.2 from 146 reviews (seen October 2026).

The gap for career coaches is everything after the post: no booking, no intake questions, no payments, no programs. You would pair Buffer with a booking tool (see our scheduling software guide for career coaches), an email tool and a course or program host.

Choose Buffer over Coachful if you already run booking and delivery elsewhere and are happy with them, you need TikTok, Pinterest or Bluesky publishing, or a VA needs their own login to queue posts for review.

3. Metricool: when you want to know which LinkedIn posts worked

Metricool homepage presenting its social media planning and analytics tool
Metricool's homepage in October 2026.

Metricool combines scheduling with analytics, which makes it the pick for a career coach who wants to compare post performance and watch competitors. It connects Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky, Google Business Profile, Twitch and LinkedIn, plus a website or blog and ads accounts on Facebook, Google and TikTok.

The catch for this niche sits on the free tier. Metricool's Free plan is "free, forever" with 1 brand, 20 scheduled posts per month, 30 days of analytics, 5 competitor profiles and 5 AI credits per brand per month, but it excludes LinkedIn and X. A LinkedIn-first career coach therefore needs a paid plan from day one. Starter for up to 5 brands is $25 per month, or $20 per month billed yearly, as listed in October 2026, with "unlimited content publishing" under a fair use policy, unlimited analytics history, up to 100 competitors and 20 AI credits per brand per month. X costs an extra $10 per month as an add-on. Team and client management start on Advanced ($67 monthly or $53 yearly for up to 15 brands), which only matters if you run several practices or manage social media for others.

Competitor tracking is genuinely useful for career coaches. You can watch which formats other coaches in your specialism use (carousels about interview prep, text posts about layoffs) and see when your own audience responds. SmartLinks, the link-in-bio page, is on every plan, and Flows can automate Instagram comment-to-DM replies on paid plans, so a "comment CHECKLIST" post could send the resume checklist automatically. There is no standard paid-plan trial on the pricing page; the Free plan plays that role. Trustpilot shows 4.1 from 690 reviews (seen October 2026).

Like Buffer, Metricool stops at the post. Booking, payments, agreements and program delivery need other tools.

Go with Metricool instead of Coachful if post-level analytics and competitor benchmarks guide your content plan, or you advertise on Facebook, Google or TikTok and want ad reporting beside your organic posts.

4. Later: a visual planner that now leans away from X

Later homepage presenting its visual social media scheduler and planner
Later's homepage in October 2026.

Later is a visual scheduler built around the Instagram grid, and it suits career coaches whose secondary channel is Instagram or TikTok. It publishes to Instagram, Facebook Pages, Threads, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube (Shorts only) and Snapchat. X support ended on 28 August 2025, and Bluesky and Google Business Profile are not supported, so a coach who leans on X for recruiter conversations would need another tool.

As listed in October 2026, Later's Starter plan is $25 per month, or $18.75 per month billed yearly, for 1 user and 1 Social Set (up to 8 profiles: one each of Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Snapchat), 30 posts per profile per month, 5 AI credits per month and 3 months of platform analytics. Thirty LinkedIn posts a month is plenty for most career coaches. Growth is $50 monthly or $37.50 yearly with 2 users, 180 posts per profile and a year of analytics; Scale is $110 monthly or $82.50 yearly. A Free plan, documented in Later's help center rather than on the pricing page, allows 12 posts per profile per month with no analytics and no carousel or Stories scheduling.

Every plan includes a Link in Bio page that can collect email sign-ups to Mailchimp or a CSV, which is a reasonable home for a resume checklist opt-in. It does not take bookings or payments. The Social Inbox for Instagram and Facebook DMs and comments starts on Growth. The 14-day trial requires a card and converts to a paid plan unless cancelled. Trustpilot shows 1.4 from 352 reviews (seen October 2026), which is low enough to read recent reviews before you commit.

Later beats Coachful when Instagram carousels, TikTok or Pinterest carry most of your reach and you want to plan the visual grid, or you need a social inbox and are willing to pay for Growth.

5. Practice Better: a health-practice platform some coaches already use

Practice Better homepage presenting its practice management platform for practitioners
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Practice Better is a practice management platform that calls itself an all-in-one EHR, and it belongs on this list because some career coaches who also work in wellness or burnout recovery already use it for clients. Its pricing page, read on the day of writing, lists no social media scheduler, so it does not replace any of the tools above for posting.

What it does well is the client side: scheduling, telehealth video, integrated billing and payments, secure messaging, a client portal, forms and note templates on every paid plan. The feature comparison lists Starter at $25 per month billed yearly or $35 monthly for 10 clients, Professional at $59 per month (the plan card shows $69 billed monthly) for 300 clients, Plus at $89 (card: $99 monthly) for unlimited clients with portal branding and SMS reminders, and Team at $145 (card: $155 monthly) with two practitioner licences. A free Sprout plan covers 3 clients. Group scheduling and fixed-date programs start on Professional; evergreen and self-paced programs on Plus. Paid plans have a 14-day trial, and the Team plan a 30-day trial.

For a career coach, the client cap on Starter is the pinch point: 10 clients fills quickly once a job search program is running, and the jump to Professional nearly doubles the bill. Practice Better also lists HIPAA, PIPEDA and GDPR compliance, which matters if your work crosses into clinical territory, and it is the honest reason a dual-qualified practitioner might pick it. A pure career coach rarely needs an EHR, and charting features built for dietitians and functional medicine practitioners add menus you will not use. You would still need a scheduler for LinkedIn.

Pick it over Coachful if you also deliver clinical or health services that require a HIPAA-compliant record system, or your practice already runs on Practice Better and social posting is a minor part of your marketing.

6. Paperbell: a coaching back office that leaves social to you

Paperbell homepage presenting its business software for coaches
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

Paperbell is a coaching business tool built around selling packages and running sessions, and it appears here because career coaches often weigh it against Coachful. It is not a social media scheduler, so if you choose it you will still need Buffer, Metricool or LinkedIn's own scheduler for posts.

For career coaches, the appeal is its focus on selling coaching packages, scheduling sessions and taking payment; confirm the current feature list on Paperbell's own site, since we could not read its pricing page for this article. A resume-plus-interview package or a block of six sessions fits that model well. Where Paperbell is thinner for this niche is between sessions: if your job search program depends on weekly tasks, daily check-ins, habit streaks and a cohort community, check carefully what it documents before you migrate. The same applies to funnels and email sequences that nurture a checklist download into a booked call.

We could not verify Paperbell's price for this article. Its pricing page blocked our request on the day of writing, so we are not quoting a figure; check the current plans directly before you compare costs. We also could not confirm a Trustpilot score, so none is given here.

The practical setup with Paperbell looks like this: posts go out from a scheduler, link to a Paperbell package page, the client books and pays, and sessions follow. That is two logins for the coach rather than one, and the post-to-booking link is something you maintain by hand. For a coach who sells one-off resume reviews and rarely runs programs, that may be enough. If you are comparing several options, our roundup of Paperbell alternatives goes deeper.

Paperbell may suit you better than Coachful if you sell short, session-based packages only, never plan to run programs, courses or a community, and are happy to keep social scheduling in a separate tool.

7. Planoly: a grid planner with a store that takes paid calls

Planoly homepage presenting its visual planner and link-in-bio Creator Store
Planoly's homepage in October 2026.

Planoly is an Instagram-first visual planner that auto-posts to Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads and Pinterest, and its Creator Store makes it the most career-coach-friendly of the visual planners. X is reminder-only, and Bluesky and Google Business Profile are not supported.

The Creator Store is the part to look at. Every paid plan includes a link-in-bio storefront for digital downloads, e-courses, memberships, live events and paid 1:1 consultations, with no Planoly cut of sales (Stripe or PayPal processing still applies). Paid 1:1 bookings support availability windows, buffers, Google Calendar sync and Zoom or Google Meet links. As an example, a career coach could sell a resume template pack and a paid 45-minute LinkedIn profile review from one link in bio, which is closer to a full journey than most schedulers manage.

As listed in October 2026, Starter is $16 per month or $14 per month billed yearly for 1 Social Set (one account per network), 1 user and unlimited uploads. Growth is $28 monthly or $24 yearly for 2 Social Sets and 2 users; Pro is $55 monthly or $47 yearly for 6. A free mobile-only plan allows 10 uploads per month. All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. Trustpilot shows 3.2 from 61 reviews (seen October 2026).

The limits for career coaches: the planning experience is built around the Instagram grid, not around LinkedIn text posts and document carousels, and there are no programs with weekly tasks, client check-ins, agreements or email sequences. Once a client buys, delivery moves to another tool.

Planoly wins over Coachful if Instagram is your main channel, you sell mostly low-priced downloads plus the occasional paid call, and you want a visual grid plan more than a full client journey.

8. Publer: bulk scheduling for coaches who batch a month at once

Publer is a scheduler aimed at solopreneurs and small teams, and it is a good match for career coaches who write a month of posts in one sitting. Its pricing page, read on the day of writing, lists bulk scheduling of up to 500 posts from a CSV file, a threads composer for X, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon, RSS automations, a browser extension and post recycling.

Network coverage is broad: Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn (profiles and company pages), X, Pinterest, Bluesky, Google Business, Mastodon, Telegram, YouTube, TikTok and WordPress. LinkedIn company page support helps a career coach who posts from both a personal profile and a practice page.

The Free plan is listed as free forever: 1 user, 1 workspace, 3 social accounts (X excluded), 10 scheduled posts per account at a time, 25 saved drafts and only 24 hours of post history, plus the Linkie link-in-bio. Professional adds unlimited scheduling and drafts, first comments and threads, unlimited workspaces and X. Business adds unlimited AI prompts, analytics, best times to post and competitor analysis. Paid plans are priced by the number of social accounts and extra members (every tenth account and member is free), and the page calculates the figure in the browser, so we could not verify a paid price; check the calculator with your own account count.

The career-coach gap is the same as for other pure schedulers: Linkie sends people to links, not to a booking with intake questions, a checkout or a program. Spintax-powered recycling on Business can reuse evergreen posts (your best "tell me about yourself" framework, for example) without publishing identical text.

Publer is the better choice than Coachful when you batch dozens of posts from a spreadsheet, need TikTok or Telegram, or want to recycle evergreen posts automatically.

9. Hootsuite: built for teams, priced like it

Hootsuite homepage presenting its social media management suite for teams
Hootsuite's homepage in October 2026.

Hootsuite is an enterprise-oriented social media suite, and for most solo career coaches it is more tool, and more cost, than the job needs. It connects Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky and Google Business Profile, plus WhatsApp messages in its inbox.

As listed in October 2026, Standard is $99 per user per month billed yearly or $149 monthly, capped at 10 social accounts, with 100 AI credits per month, unlimited scheduled posts and competitive benchmarking for up to 5 competitors. Professional is $199 per user per month yearly ($299 monthly) with unlimited accounts and benchmarking against 20 competitors; DM automations and automated responses start here. Advanced is $399 yearly ($499 monthly), and Enterprise is custom. A 14-day free trial needs no card and does not charge automatically, though trial accounts have daily posting limits and no bulk scheduling. There is no free plan.

Every plan includes Hootbio (link-in-bio) and a unified inbox for comments and DMs. That inbox is the real reason to consider Hootsuite: a career coaching firm with several coaches fielding LinkedIn and Instagram messages from job seekers can route them in one place. For a solo coach, $99 a month on social alone is several times the cost of Buffer for the same three networks. Hootsuite has no booking calendar, payments or program delivery. Trustpilot shows 1.3 from 556 reviews (seen October 2026).

Hootsuite makes more sense than Coachful if you run a multi-coach outplacement or career services firm, need a shared social inbox with permissions, and report social performance to a client or a board.

10. LinkedIn's built-in scheduler: free, and LinkedIn only

LinkedIn lets you schedule a post from the post composer itself, at no cost, and for a career coach who posts only on LinkedIn a few times a week that may be all the scheduler you need. It belongs on the list as the honest baseline every paid tool has to beat.

What you get is narrow: you write the post on LinkedIn, pick a date and time, and LinkedIn publishes it. You keep LinkedIn's native post formats and see LinkedIn's own post analytics afterwards. There is nothing to connect and no separate login.

The limits show up quickly. There is no cross-posting to Instagram, Threads or YouTube, no shared content calendar, no AI help across networks beyond whatever LinkedIn offers in its own composer, and no link-in-bio page. The post still has to point somewhere, and that somewhere (a booking page, a checklist funnel, a package checkout) has to be built and paid for in another tool. Career coaches who rely on it often end up pasting the same booking link into every post and tracking interest in a spreadsheet.

It works best as a starting point. If you are testing whether LinkedIn content brings in discovery calls at all, schedule four weeks of posts natively, send them to one booking page, and count the calls. If the answer is yes, move to a tool that connects the post to the rest of the journey.

Stay with LinkedIn's own scheduler instead of Coachful if you post only on LinkedIn, already have a booking and payment setup you like, and do not want another subscription yet.

What does each option cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Social schedulers charge by channel, user or brand, not by client, so their figure stays flat while a coaching platform's may change as you grow. The fair comparison adds what a scheduler leaves out. The example below assumes one coach posting to LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook, with yearly billing where offered.

How does a career coach set this up in Coachful, step by step?

A full setup takes a few working sessions, or less if the Coachful team builds the pieces for you. Here is one example path for a solo coach selling a 90-day job search program, with an illustrative free resume checklist as the lead magnet.

  2. Set up the audit call. Create a free 20-minute session type with buffers, minimum notice and intake questions: current role, target role, timeline, biggest blocker. Connect Google, Apple or Outlook so your calendar stays accurate.
  3. Build the offer. Create the 90-day program with weekly goals (week 1: target role and story; week 4: applications live; week 8: interview loops), daily tasks and evening check-ins. Set up payment as a one-time price or a payment plan through your Stripe account, and attach a coaching agreement for e-signature.
  4. Write the nurture emails. Build a short sequence for checklist subscribers: the checklist, one common resume mistake, one interview story, then an invitation to book the audit call.
  5. Plan the posts. Open Sell > How you reach them > Social planner. Use AI help to draft a week of ideas around one theme, such as "career change stories". Edit each caption in your own voice.
  6. Link each post. Point the checklist posts at the funnel, the "book a call" posts at the booking page, and Instagram traffic at the link-in-bio page. Tag funnel links with UTM parameters so you can see which campaign drove sign-ups.
  7. Schedule across networks. Publish to LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads and Facebook from one calendar, adjusting the copy for each network. Watch for the failure notification and use the per-network retry if one network rejects a post.
  8. Follow the lead. When someone books, their intake answers sit on the client record. After the call, send the program link; the agreement and payment run first, then the client lands in their branded app with week one ready.

What mistakes should career coaches avoid with social scheduling?

  • Posting client wins without written consent. A promotion story can identify someone to their employer. Get permission in writing, and leave out company names unless the client agrees.
  • Promising outcomes. "Guaranteed interviews" or "a 30% raise" in a scheduled post is a claim you cannot control. Teach the method instead.
  • Sending every post to your homepage. A post about salary negotiation should link to a negotiation checklist or a booking page, not to a page the reader has to search.
  • Copying one caption to every network. LinkedIn readers expect a longer story; Instagram and Threads need a tighter hook. Schedule the same idea, not the same text.
  • Paying for analytics you never open. If you check your numbers once a quarter, a Hootsuite or Metricool Advanced tier is money better spent elsewhere.
  • Ignoring hiring seasons. Plan heavier posting for January and September, and have a calm, practical post ready for the day layoff news breaks.
  • Not checking failed posts. A LinkedIn token expires, a post silently fails, and the week's only call-to-action never goes out. Check notifications daily.
  • Building a TikTok system for a LinkedIn audience. Choose tools for where your buyers are, not where trends are.

Which social media scheduler should a career coach choose?

For most solo career coaches, Coachful is the strongest choice, because the post, the booking page, the payment, the agreement and the program all sit behind one login and the free white-glove build removes most of the setup work. Choose Buffer if you only need cheap, wide publishing and already run delivery elsewhere. Choose Metricool if post analytics and competitor tracking drive your plan. Later and Planoly suit Instagram-heavy coaches; Hootsuite suits multi-coach firms with a shared inbox; LinkedIn's own scheduler is a fine free test.

Coachful in one paragraph: Coachful is a coaching platform for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, from solo practices growing into small teams. One subscription covers booking, payments, agreements, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community, a website with funnels and email, a Social planner and an AI assistant. It does not publish to TikTok or Pinterest, offer a social inbox, take PayPal, or hold HIPAA certification. To start, take the free trial and request the free white-glove build from Create. Frequently asked questions

What is the best social media scheduler for career coaches?

For most solo career coaches, Coachful, because its Social planner publishes to LinkedIn and five other networks and links posts to booking pages, funnels and checkout in the same account. If you need TikTok, Pinterest or detailed analytics, Buffer or Metricool are better dedicated schedulers. Many coaches pair one of those with a coaching platform.

Does Coachful post to TikTok or Pinterest?

No. Coachful's Social planner publishes to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube. For TikTok or Pinterest, Buffer, Metricool, Later, Planoly, Publer and Hootsuite all document support.

Does Coachful have social media analytics?

Coachful does not offer a social analytics dashboard or a social inbox. Funnels support pixels and UTM tracking, so you can see which campaign drove sign-ups and bookings. If post-level analytics matter, Metricool and Hootsuite are built for that.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

From Create > We'll build it for you, you describe a website, funnel, program, email sequence, link-in-bio page or similar, attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It is free on every plan. It does not include video recording, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing, and nothing is invented: gaps are left for you.

Is LinkedIn's own scheduler enough for a career coach?

It can be, if you post only on LinkedIn and already have a booking and payment setup. It does not cross-post, offer a shared calendar or give you a page to send people to. Many coaches start there and move once LinkedIn content proves it brings in calls.

How often should a career coach post on LinkedIn?

There is no single right number. Pick a rhythm you can keep for three months, such as three posts a week, and send each one to a specific next step. Consistency and a clear call-to-action matter more than volume.

Can I share client success stories in scheduled posts?

Only with the client's written consent, and preferably without naming their employer unless they agree. Job seekers may not want a current or former employer to know they worked with a coach. Avoid stating salary figures or promising similar results.

Which scheduler is cheapest for LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook?

Among paid tools with listed prices in October 2026, Planoly Starter ($14 per month yearly) and Buffer Essentials ($15 per month yearly for three channels) are the lowest. Buffer's Free plan covers three channels with 10 queued posts each. These prices cover scheduling only; booking, email and payments cost extra.

Do I need a separate booking tool with a social media scheduler?

With Buffer, Metricool, Later, Publer, Hootsuite or LinkedIn's scheduler, yes: they publish posts but do not take bookings or payments. Planoly's Creator Store handles paid calls and downloads. Coachful includes booking, payments, intake questions and agreements alongside the Social planner.

Can a virtual assistant schedule posts for me?

Buffer Team, Later Growth, Planoly Growth, Publer (with extra members) and Hootsuite all support more than one user. In Coachful, team plans add seats with staff permissions; check the plan that fits on the plans page.
