The 7 Best Software for Tutors, Compared

The 7 Best Software for Tutors, Compared

The best software for tutors is the one that follows a student from the first enquiry to the third term without you copying anything between apps. Booking a lesson is the easy part. The hard part is everything around it: selling a pack of ten lessons, knowing how many are left, sending the parent an invoice, setting homework that actually gets done, and noticing when a student goes quiet before the family cancels. So the deciding question is simple: which tool covers the most stages of your tutoring business in one place, at a price that still makes sense when you have 40 students instead of 5?

Our pick is Coachful. We make Coachful, so weigh that, but the reason is structural: it is the only tool in this list that handles finding families (website, funnels, email), enrolling them (booking, lesson credits, payments, agreements), teaching between lessons (programs, tasks, check-ins, courses, group chat) and keeping them (client status, renewals, community) under one login, with one branded app for the student. The six others are good at one or two of those stages. Below we walk through each stage, show which tool covers what, then rank all seven with prices as each vendor lists them in October 2026.

What does a tutoring business need from software at each stage?

A tutoring business needs four things from software: a way to be found, a way to enrol and get paid, a way to teach and set work between lessons, and a way to keep students coming back. Most tutors start with a calendar link and a payment app, then bolt on tools as the gaps hurt. Mapping the student journey first stops you buying the wrong thing. If you are still at the very beginning, our 90-day plan for starting an online tutoring business covers niche, pricing and first clients before software.

Attract: how families find you

Parents search, ask other parents, and look at your site before they message you. At this stage you need a simple website with your subjects, levels and exam boards, a clear "book a free consultation" button, and ideally a lead magnet such as a revision checklist or a past-paper planner that collects an email address. Follow-up emails turn a curious parent into a booked trial lesson. Tools without a website or email force you to run a separate site builder and mailing list.

Enrol: from trial lesson to paid package

Enrolment is where tutoring differs most from generic scheduling. Families rarely pay lesson by lesson for long. They buy blocks (ten lessons, a term, an exam-prep bundle) or pay a monthly subscription. Your software needs to sell those packages, track how many lessons remain, handle time zones if you teach internationally, take payment by card or wallet, and send a proper invoice the parent can file. A short tutoring agreement covering cancellations, missed lessons and safeguarding expectations should be signed before the first paid session. Our guide to coaching agreements with e-signature explains the mechanics; have a local lawyer check the terms for your country.

Deliver: lessons plus everything between them

The lesson is an hour. Progress happens in the other 167 hours of the week. Tutors need somewhere to store progress notes after each session, assign practice tasks, share worksheets and recordings, and, for many, run a small group or an exam-season course. Self-paced material (a GCSE algebra refresher, an SAT reading module, a grammar course) lets you earn from students you are not teaching live. If notes are your weak spot, see our guide to session notes software.

Retain: renewals, re-bookings and referrals

Retention in tutoring follows the school calendar. Packages run out, exams end, summer arrives. You need to see who has one lesson left, who has stopped doing homework, and who would benefit from a next-term package. A community or group chat for students preparing for the same exam keeps people engaged between terms. Simple email broadcasts ("September slots are open") fill your diary before the rush.

A note on minors, parents and privacy

Many tutors teach children, which changes who the "client" is. Usually the parent books and pays, while the student does the work. Decide early whose name sits on the client record and who receives messages. Data protection rules apply to student information: in the EU and UK that means the General Data Protection Regulation, and in the US online services aimed at children under 13 fall under COPPA. Requirements vary by country and by whether you work through a school, so check with an attorney before you collect information directly from young students. For background on the different forms tutoring takes, the overview of tutoring on Wikipedia is a useful starting point.

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

Which tool covers which stage of the tutoring journey?

Only one of the seven tools covers all four stages natively; the rest cover one to three and expect you to fill the gaps with other subscriptions. The table summarises what each vendor documents.

How we ranked: one login for the whole student journey first, then what happens between lessons (homework, check-ins, courses), then the total cost of the stack you would actually need at 15 students, then setup effort, including whether someone will build it for you.

1. Coachful: the whole tutoring journey in one login

A tablet on a kitchen table showing a student's hub with the next lesson and pre-session work, next to an open workbook
The client hub in Coachful, with the next session and the work to finish before it, on a tablet beside a maths workbook.

Coachful is the best software for tutors who want booking, lesson packages, payments, homework, courses and parent-facing invoices in one place rather than spread across four subscriptions. It is a coaching platform, and tutoring maps onto it closely: a student is a client, a block of lessons is a set of session credits, homework is a set of daily tasks inside a program, and an exam-prep course is a course.

Booking that handles time zones and lesson packs

Booking pages come with availability rules, buffers between lessons and a minimum notice period, so nobody books a lesson for 7 a.m. tomorrow at 11 p.m. tonight. Time zones are detected automatically, which matters if you teach students abroad or families who travel. Calendars sync both ways with Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook. Each lesson can use built-in video or an auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams link. Email reminders go out by default, and once messaging is enabled you can add an SMS reminder 24 hours before and a WhatsApp reminder an hour before, which cuts down on "sorry, we forgot" no-shows.

For packages, you can sell paid sessions or session credits, so a family buys a ten-lesson block and each booking draws from it. Intake questions on the booking form let you ask about year group, exam board, target grade and the subject giving the most trouble before the trial lesson. If you grow into a tutoring centre, multi-coach session types can assign bookings round-robin or to the least-busy tutor. More detail is on our scheduling software page.

Payments and invoices parents can file

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account. You can charge one-time fees, monthly subscriptions or payment plans (useful for a term paid in three instalments), add an order bump such as a past-paper pack at checkout, issue coupons for siblings, and refund a lesson. Apple Pay and Google Pay work at checkout, and Stripe Tax is available. Every transaction produces an invoice, and you can create manual invoices for families who pay by bank transfer. Coachful takes a 0% platform fee; you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. PayPal is not supported, which matters if many of your families pay that way. See payment software for coaches for the full list.

A tutoring agreement with e-signature goes out before the first lesson and is stored on the student's record, so your cancellation policy is on file before anyone argues about it.

Homework, progress notes and courses between lessons

This is where Coachful pulls ahead. A multi-week program can hold weekly goals, daily tasks and habits, so "15 minutes of times tables every evening" becomes a tracked habit with a streak, and "finish past paper 3 before Thursday" becomes a task the student ticks off. Morning and evening check-ins can ask how practice went. Goals show progress bars. On your side, each client record keeps goals, check-ins, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, and marks the student as thriving, active, quiet or at risk, which is the early warning a tutor needs before a parent quietly stops booking.

Courses support modules, lessons, drip release and completion tracking, and 48 course templates include quizzes. You can also share downloads, videos and books. Everything lands in the student's branded home and app. For small groups, cohort groups are created automatically when students enrol in a program, and you can run group calls, webinars and a community feed with group chat and direct messages. Our page on running courses inside Coachful shows how this fits together.

Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data. She can draft a revision program, write the follow-up email to a parent, summarise a recorded lesson and brief you before a session on what the student did since last week. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.

Here is a short walkthrough of how scheduling works in Coachful:

Finding families without a separate site builder

A section-based website builder with 30 designed homepage templates, a blog, custom domain and SEO settings covers your public presence. Funnels handle booking, applications, lead magnets and checkout, with Meta Pixel and GA4 tracking. Email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with branching let you send "mock exam week" reminders or a welcome series to every new family.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files (logo, photos, subject list, existing copy), and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. It covers websites, funnels, offers and sales pages, programs, course outlines and written material, email sequences, forms and worksheets, and more. Nothing is invented: no fake qualifications, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill. Recent builds include a leadership coach whose Squarespace renewal was days away getting one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button, and a business mentor getting a 12-week sales page, a free guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. A tutor could ask for the same thing: a homepage with a free consultation button, a ten-lesson package page and an intake form. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management. Read more about the free white-glove build service.

What Coachful does not do

Coachful is not a tutoring marketplace that sends you students, and it is not a course marketplace. It has no PayPal, no permanent free plan and no separate parent login is described, so for younger students you decide whether the parent or the student holds the client record. The student app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. It is not HIPAA-certified, which only matters if you also offer clinical services such as therapy for learning differences; those records belong in a clinical system. There are no routing forms that pick a tutor from form answers.

In short: Coachful is a coaching platform that independent tutors can use to run booking, lesson credits, payments, agreements, homework programs, courses, community, a website and email from one login, with a branded app for students. It suits solo tutors and small tutoring teams who teach ongoing students rather than one-off lessons. Start with a free trial and ask for the free white-glove build to set up your site and first package (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).

2. Coach Recap: lean session packs for solo tutors

Coach Recap's homepage introducing its client and session management tool for solo coaches
Coach Recap's homepage in October 2026.

Coach Recap is a light, solo-focused tool whose strongest fit for tutors is its session-pack tracking. Programs are either session packs or monthly subscriptions paid through Stripe, and the app tracks sessions used against sessions remaining, which is exactly what a tutor selling ten-lesson blocks needs to see.

Where it fits a tutor's week

Each client profile holds session history, session notes, goals and action items, and full-text search lets you find "quadratics" across a term of notes. The booking page supports buffers and notice rules, with two-way Google Calendar and Outlook sync. Email reminders go out at 24 hours, 1 hour and 15 minutes. Intake forms, check-ins, contracts, private chat and resource sharing round it out. The site says it is built for solo coaches, not agencies.

Price as listed

As listed in October 2026: Starter is $0/month for up to 3 active clients (active means a session or booking in the last 90 days), Professional is $29/month for up to 20 active clients, and Business is $79/month for unlimited clients. There is no cut of client payments beyond Stripe's standard fees. App Store prices differ from the website and the difference is not explained, so check before you subscribe in the app.

Gaps

Coach Recap's documentation does not describe self-paced courses, a community, funnels or email broadcasts. You will need a separate website and mailing list to attract families, and a course platform if you want to sell revision material.

Pick it over Coachful if you teach fewer than 20 regular students, only need packs, notes and reminders, and already have a website you are happy with.

3. Merkora: packages, wallet credits and hosted courses

Merkora's homepage introducing booking, packages and courses for independent experts
Merkora's homepage in October 2026.

Merkora targets independent experts, and two of its features suit tutoring well: session packages where clients see their remaining balance, and cancellation and no-show enforcement that issues wallet credits instead of cash refunds. For tutors tired of chasing late cancellations, that policy engine is the draw.

The tutoring-relevant pieces

Booking comes with automatic confirmations and reminders, intake forms and a waitlist, which helps in exam season when evening slots fill. Video courses are hosted directly (no YouTube needed), alongside digital downloads and free lead magnets with email capture. Built-in live streaming covers group events such as a revision masterclass. Every tutor gets one branded public page at yourname.merkora.app rather than a full multi-page site.

What it costs today

As listed in October 2026, the Free plan costs $0/month only until your first paid sale; after that you have 14 days to move to Professional or new bookings and sales pause. Free caps live events at 10 participants and adds Merkora branding. Professional is $79/month, with live events up to 200 participants and 10 hours of recordings a month. A founding-member rate of $29/month for 12 months, then $39/month, is offered to 50 founder spots. Merkora takes 0% of sales; Stripe processing applies.

Things to weigh

The product appears new, with little public review history yet. There is no full website builder, and the public material we reviewed does not describe homework tasks, habits or student check-ins between lessons.

Pick it over Coachful if strict wallet-credit cancellation rules and hosted video courses matter more to you than homework tracking, and a single profile page is enough of a web presence.

4. Paperbell: one price, unlimited students

Paperbell's homepage introducing its all-in-one admin tool for coaches
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

Paperbell is an all-in-one admin tool for solo coaches with a single flat price and no client caps. Tutors who sell lesson packages and want booking, payment, contract and portal in one checkout flow will find it straightforward.

What Paperbell gives a tutor

You create packages (a block of lessons, a monthly plan), and a client buys, signs the contract and books in one flow. There is a client portal for files and a simple website. Paperbell supports Stripe and PayPal, which helps if many families prefer PayPal, and it adds no transaction fees of its own.

Pricing and trial

As listed in October 2026, Paperbell has one plan at $97/month, or $80.83/month billed annually, with unlimited clients, sessions, files and packages. A "Try For Free" button is shown; the help center (July 2026) describes a 7-day trial with the public site offline and client messages and SMS off. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee. Trustpilot showed 3.5 from 14 reviews when checked on 25 October 2026.

Limits for tutoring

According to its older public profile, Paperbell has no courses or LMS, no community and no goal or habit tracking, so homework and revision material live elsewhere. There is no native mobile app; students use the mobile browser. At 5 students, $97 a month is a lot of overhead.

Pick it over Coachful if PayPal is non-negotiable for your families and you only need packages, contracts and booking, with homework handled in a shared document.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

5. Satori: tidy practice admin with active-client billing

Satori's homepage introducing its coaching practice management tool
Satori's homepage in October 2026.

Satori is a coaching practice tool for scheduling, a client portal, packages and programs, invoices and contracts. Its billing counts only active clients, which suits tutors whose student numbers swell before exams and drop in summer.

Strengths for a tutoring practice

Packages and programs map onto lesson blocks. Invoices and contracts are built in, and client payments run through Stripe or PayPal with no Satori charge on top of their standard fees. Because only active clients count toward your tier, a family that pauses for the summer does not keep costing you a seat.

Satori's listed prices

As listed in October 2026: Essentials is $33/month ($27.50/month annual) for up to 10 active paying clients; Pro is $49/month ($40.83/month annual), which the older profile lists at 50 active clients; Leader is $124/month ($103.33/month annual), 150 active clients per the older profile. A free Scholar plan exists for people studying for a coaching certification, which most tutors will not qualify for. The trial is 15 days without a card, with a refund if requested within 30 days of signing up.

Where it falls short

The older profile notes no native mobile app, no native Zoom integration, and no landing pages, courses or community. You would need a website, a video link workflow and a course platform alongside it.

Pick it over Coachful if your student numbers swing a lot through the year, you want PayPal, and you are fine running your website and courses elsewhere.

6. Calendly: scheduling only, done well

Calendly's homepage introducing its scheduling and booking pages
Calendly's homepage in October 2026.

Calendly is a scheduling tool and nothing more, which makes it a fine first step for a brand-new tutor and a weak foundation for a growing one. It handles booking pages, reminder workflows and paid bookings through your own Stripe or PayPal account.

Good for

A quick, simple booking link. Families pick a slot, the lesson lands on your calendar, and reminders go out. Calendly documents no fee of its own on payments; you pay your processor's rates.

Calendly pricing in October 2026

Free is $0/month with one event type and one calendar connection. Standard is $10/month per seat billed annually (the monthly price was not shown on the page), with up to 6 calendar connections and unlimited event types. Teams is $16/month per seat billed annually. The trial was not stated on the pricing page when we checked. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 714 reviews on 25 October 2026.

Not built for

There are no client records, progress notes, programs, homework, contracts or invoicing. Lesson packages are not described in what Calendly documents. You will add a notes tool, an invoicing tool and somewhere to store resources, which is how the "five subscriptions" problem starts. For a wider look at booking options, see our list of scheduling software for coaches.

Pick it over Coachful if you tutor a handful of students as a side job, get paid outside the booking flow, and only need a calendar link.

7. Thinkific: when the course is the business

Thinkific's homepage introducing its course and community platform
Thinkific's homepage in October 2026.

Thinkific is a course platform with communities, memberships and coaching or webinar products. It ranks here for tutors who plan to sell self-paced revision courses to hundreds of students, with 1:1 lessons as a side line.

Course depth

The Start plan supports 10,000 current students, two admins, one community with ten spaces and five live community events. Using Thinkific Payments carries no Thinkific transaction fee, with a processing rate the company describes as "in line with other processors at 2.9%". Third-party gateways carry an extra per-plan fee not listed on the page.

Thinkific's cost

As listed in October 2026, Start is $109/month ($82/month annual), Grow is $219/month ($164/month annual) and Expand is $499/month ($374/month annual). Prices rose about 10% on 13 August 2026. A 30-day free trial is offered on every self-serve plan. A branded mobile app is a $199/month add-on. Trustpilot showed 1.8 from 868 reviews on 25 October 2026.

Missing for live tutoring

The older profile notes no built-in 1:1 scheduling, so live lessons rely on an external booking link. There are no per-student habits, daily check-ins or individual plans. For a tutor whose income is mostly live lessons, this is a lot of course platform for not much tutoring admin.

Pick it over Coachful if most of your revenue will come from self-paced courses sold at scale and live tutoring is occasional.

How do the features compare side by side?

Coachful is the only tool with "Yes" in every column; Coach Recap and Merkora come closest for lesson packs, and Thinkific for courses. "Not listed" means the vendor's public material we reviewed does not describe the feature.

What does each tool cost at 5, 15 and 40 students?

At 5 students the cheapest tools win; at 40, flat-priced all-in-one plans pull ahead because you stop paying for extra tools. These are the monthly list prices for the cheapest plan that covers each student count, before payment processing.

The single-tool price is only half the story. Calendly at $10 covers booking alone, so the honest comparison is with the full stack it needs around it, which the next section adds up.

Should you buy one platform or assemble a stack?

For most independent tutors with more than a handful of regular students, one platform costs less in money and in admin time than three or four assembled tools. An assembled stack can still make sense if you already own pieces you like. Here are three realistic recipes, using vendor list prices from October 2026 as examples.

Recipe A: the all-in-one

One Coachful plan covering your student count, plus Stripe processing. Booking, lesson credits, invoices, agreements, homework programs, courses, group chat, website and email are included in your Coachful membership. For 15 students that is Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients.

Recipe B: the light stack

Coach Recap Professional ($29) for packs, notes and reminders, plus a website builder and an email tool you choose separately. Example: if your site costs around $15 a month and you stay on Kit's free newsletter plan (up to 10,000 subscribers as listed), the stack is about $44 a month, with no courses or community.

Recipe C: the course-led stack

Calendly Standard ($10, billed annually) for lessons, Thinkific Start ($109) for courses and community, and Kit Creator ($39 starting price for up to 1,000 subscribers) for sequences. That is about $158 a month before invoicing and notes tools, and three logins for every student.

Time is the hidden line. Every extra tool means another place to update when a family changes lesson day, and another password a 14-year-old will forget. Our article on every piece of software an online coaching business needs goes through the same trade-off for coaches.

How do you set up a tutoring business in Coachful step by step?

Setup takes an afternoon if you do it yourself, or you can hand most of it to the white-glove team. Here is a sensible order for a solo tutor teaching GCSE or SAT maths, as an example.

  1. Connect Stripe and your calendar. Link your Stripe account, sync Google, Apple or Outlook, and set availability with 10-minute buffers and 24-hour minimum notice.
  2. Create two session types. A free 20-minute consultation and a paid 60-minute lesson that draws from session credits. Add intake questions: year group, exam board, target grade, current grade.
  3. Build your packages as offers. For example a ten-lesson block paid once or in two instalments, and a monthly subscription for ongoing students. Add a sibling coupon.
  4. Write the tutoring agreement. Cancellations, missed lessons, recording consent and how you communicate with parents. Send it for e-signature on enrolment.
  5. Build a term program. Weekly goals per topic, daily tasks for practice, a short evening check-in ("How did practice go? 1 to 5"). Use a course template with quizzes for the self-paced part.
  6. Turn on reminders. Email by default, then SMS at 24 hours and WhatsApp at 1 hour once messaging is enabled.
  7. Publish the site and a lead magnet. Pick one of the 30 homepage templates, add your subjects and levels, and offer a free revision planner that starts a short email sequence ending in a consultation link.
Client portal My Coaching page with Overview, Programs, Sessions, Progress and Documents tabs

What the family experiences: the parent finds your site, books a free consultation in their own time zone, answers four intake questions and gets a reminder by text the day before. After the call they buy a ten-lesson block with Apple Pay, sign the agreement and receive an invoice. The student opens your branded app and sees the next lesson, this week's goal, two practice tasks and a quiz. You open the client record before each lesson and see whether the tasks were done, what the last check-in said and your notes from last week. When two lessons remain, you know to suggest the next block.

How do you migrate students without losing anyone?

Move at a natural break, such as the end of a term or half-term, and move everything at once rather than running two systems. A messy middle period is where students get double-booked or forget which link to use.

  • Export first. Download client lists, notes and remaining lesson balances from your old tool. Write down each family's remaining credits; those numbers matter more than anything else.
  • Let someone import for you. In Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, so send the exports rather than retyping them.
  • Recreate packages before inviting families. Set up session types and offers, then add remaining credits to each student so nobody pays twice.
  • Re-sign agreements. Use the switch as a reason to send an updated agreement with your current cancellation policy.
  • Send one clear email. Tell families the date, the new booking link and what will not change (time, price, tutor). Keep the old booking page live with a redirect message for two weeks.
  • Keep an exit route. Check that any tool you choose lets you leave. Coachful exports your full client data as a ZIP (roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions, form responses) and courses can be exported too.

Teaching languages rather than school subjects? The same steps apply, and our guide to software for language coaches covers conversation clubs and level placement. Running monthly memberships instead of blocks? See software for subscription coaching.

What mistakes do tutors make when choosing software?

The most common mistake is choosing for the first month instead of the second year. A free booking link feels efficient at 4 students and painful at 30.

  • Ignoring per-client pricing. Tiered caps look cheap until exam season doubles your list.
  • Tracking lesson balances in a spreadsheet. Credits belong next to bookings, or disputes follow.
  • Leaving homework in chat threads. If tasks are not tracked, you cannot show a parent progress.
  • Skipping the agreement. A signed cancellation policy prevents most awkward conversations.
  • Forgetting the parent. Decide who receives invoices, reminders and progress updates before the first lesson.

Which software for tutors should you choose?

Choose Coachful if you teach ongoing students and want one place for booking, lesson credits, payments, homework, courses and your website, with a branded app for students and a free white-glove build to get started. It covers every stage of the tutoring journey that the others split across several tools. Choose Coach Recap for a lean, low-cost packs-and-notes setup under 20 students, Merkora for strict wallet-credit cancellations with hosted courses, Paperbell or Satori if PayPal is essential, Calendly if you only need a link, and Thinkific if courses are the business. For independent tutors with regular students, Coachful covers the most ground: booking with time-zone detection, lesson credits, payments and invoices, agreements, homework programs, courses and a website in one login. Coach Recap is a strong lean option for under 20 students, and Thinkific suits tutors who mainly sell courses.

Can I sell blocks of lessons and track how many are left?

Yes, in several tools. Coachful sells session credits that bookings draw from, Coach Recap tracks sessions used against sessions remaining, and Merkora shows clients their remaining package balance. Calendly does not describe lesson packages.

Is there free software for tutors?

Coach Recap is free for up to 3 active clients, Calendly is free for one event type, and Merkora is free until your first paid sale. Coachful has no permanent free plan, but it offers a free trial.

How do I handle parents who pay but do not attend lessons?

Decide whose name sits on the client record before enrolment. Many tutors make the parent the booking and paying contact for younger students and keep progress notes on the same record. Put your communication rules in the signed agreement so both parent and student know who gets what.

Can students use PayPal?

Not in Coachful, which takes payments through Stripe Connect or Razorpay, including cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Paperbell, Satori and Calendly support PayPal as listed by those vendors.

Do I need a separate website if I use tutoring software?

It depends on the tool. Coachful includes a website builder with templates, a blog and a custom domain. Paperbell has a simple site, Merkora gives you one profile page, and Coach Recap, Satori and Calendly need a website from elsewhere.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a free build service on every plan: you describe what you need (website, funnel, package page, program, course outline, form or email sequence), attach links and files, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented, so gaps such as results or qualifications are left for you. It does not include video recording, logo design or ads.

Is tutoring software compliant with student privacy laws?

No software makes you compliant on its own. Rules such as GDPR in Europe and COPPA in the US depend on where you work, the age of your students and what you collect. Coachful is GDPR-ready, but check with an attorney about consent for minors in your country.

Can I run group revision sessions as well as 1:1 lessons?

Yes. Coachful runs group calls and webinars, creates cohort groups automatically when students join a program, and adds a community feed and group chat. Merkora streams live events, and Thinkific includes communities and live events on its plans.

How long does it take to switch tutoring software?

Plan the switch for a term break and allow a week to set up packages, agreements and booking pages. In Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, which cuts most of the retyping.
