Best Software for Weight Loss Coaches: Top 7 Picks for 2026

Best Software for Weight Loss Coaches: Top 7 Picks for 2026

The best software for weight loss coaches is the one that keeps clients doing the small daily things between calls: logging meals, hitting a step or water habit, answering a quick check-in, and getting a reply from you before motivation fades. So the deciding question is not "which app has the most features?" but "where will my clients spend the days between our calls, and can I see what they did there without opening four tabs?"

Our pick is Coachful, because it puts booking, payment, agreements, the program, daily habits, morning and evening check-ins, nutrition targets, progress photos, a group community and your website behind one login for you and one branded app for your client. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read the six alternatives below on their own terms: two of them are better choices for specific kinds of weight loss practice, and we say which.

This guide is built as a decision tool. Answer five questions about your practice, use the table to see which tool fits your answers, then read the ranked sections, the cost table at 5, 15 and 40 clients, and the red flags that make switching expensive later. Vendor prices are as listed in October 2026.

What does a weight loss coach actually need from software?

A weight loss coach needs software that supports behaviour change between sessions, not just a calendar. The session is where you set the plan; the results come from what happens on Tuesday night when a client is tired and hungry.

Most weight loss coaching practices share a similar client journey. Someone finds you through social media, a referral or a search, books a discovery call, signs an agreement, pays for a package or a monthly plan, then often works through 8 to 16 weeks of habits, nutrition targets and accountability. Along the way you collect measurements and photos, read weekly check-ins, adjust targets, and keep the client moving through plateaus. Many coaches also run a group program or challenge alongside 1:1 clients, because group formats lower the price for clients and raise your hourly return. Our guide to weight loss coaching, what works and what it costs covers the method side; here we stay on the tools.

That journey translates into a short list of software jobs:

  • Intake and agreements. Health history questions, goals, and a signed coaching agreement that states your scope before the first call.
  • Daily habits and check-ins. Water, steps, sleep, vegetables, protein, mood: whatever you coach, the client needs a fast way to tick it off and you need to see who has gone quiet.
  • Nutrition support. Calorie or macro targets, meal plans and recipes, or at least a place to share guides. Some coaches avoid numbers and coach habits only; the software should allow both.
  • Progress tracking. Private progress photos and measurements, stored on the client record and not in your phone's camera roll.
  • Payments. Packages, monthly plans and payment plans, ideally collected automatically.
  • Group delivery. A cohort space or community for challenges and group programs.
  • Marketing. A website, a lead magnet such as a meal-planning guide, and email follow-up.

Where does coaching end and treatment begin?

Weight loss coaching is not medical treatment, and your software choice should reflect that. A coach supports habits, accountability and lifestyle change; diagnosing conditions, prescribing diets for medical conditions, and managing medication belong to physicians and registered dietitians. Refer out when a client reports signs of disordered eating, has diabetes, kidney or heart disease that affects their diet, is pregnant, or asks about weight loss medication doses. Put that scope in writing in your coaching agreement, and keep your intake questions focused on goals and habits rather than clinical detail. The CDC's guidance on losing weight is a sound, non-commercial reference to share with clients.

Scope also decides the software category. If you are a licensed dietitian or work under a clinic that bills insurance, you are likely a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA (the US Department of Health and Human Services explains who counts as a covered entity), and you need a vendor that signs a business associate agreement. Most non-clinical coaches are not covered entities, but check with an attorney if you are unsure. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so a dietitian billing insurance should look at Practice Better in the list below.

One more compliance point: before-and-after photos and client results are endorsements. The FTC's Endorsement Guides FAQ and its Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule say results you show should not mislead about what a typical client achieves, and fake or incentivized-for-sentiment reviews are prohibited. Store photo consent on the client record, whichever tool you pick.

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

Which 5 questions decide the right tool for your practice?

Five answers about your practice narrow seven tools to one or two. Write your answers down before reading the tool sections.

  1. Do you sell programs or sessions? If clients buy a 12-week program with daily habits and weekly check-ins, you need program delivery. If they buy a pack of six calls, a booking and payment tool may be enough.
  2. Is training programming a large part of what you deliver? If you write detailed workouts with sets, reps and progressions for most clients, a fitness-first app has more depth. If movement is one habit among many (steps, walks, two strength sessions a week), a coaching platform that includes workouts is enough.
  3. Are you a clinician, or do you bill insurance? Licensed dietitians and clinic-based practices need charting and a BAA. Non-clinical coaches usually do not.
  4. How many clients will you have in 12 months, and will you run a group program? Tools priced per client get expensive at 40; tools priced per coach stay flat. Group challenges need a community or cohort space.
  5. Do you already have a website, funnel and email list you are happy with? If not, a platform that includes them removes two or three subscriptions. If yes, you can choose a delivery tool and keep your marketing stack.

Which tool matches your answers?

Find the row that matches most of your answers. If two rows fit, the one higher up the ranking usually covers more of the client journey in one place.

How did we rank the best software for weight loss coaches?

We ranked tools by how well they cover one weight loss coaching practice end to end, using what each vendor documents and what public reviewers report. We did not run our own hands-on test of each competitor.

The scenario we used is an example: a solo coach with 15 private clients on a 12-week program and one group challenge of about 25 people, selling through a simple website with a free meal-planning guide. The coach wants daily habits, weekly check-ins with photos and measurements, nutrition targets, a few workouts, automatic payments and an email follow-up sequence.

Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery (habits, check-ins, nutrition), total stack cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients, and setup effort including any free build help.

1. Why is Coachful the best overall pick for weight loss coaches?

Coachful is the best overall pick because it covers the whole weight loss client journey, from the first booking to the last check-in, inside one subscription. Coachful is a coaching platform built for coaches who deliver programs rather than single sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing four to six separate tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and holds a Trustpilot score of 4.5 from 21 reviews (seen October 2026).

What the daily client experience looks like

Weight loss results live in daily behaviour, and this is where Coachful is strongest. You build a multi-week program with weekly goals, daily tasks and habits, then attach morning and evening check-ins. A client opens the app in the morning, sees today's tasks (drink two litres of water, a 30-minute walk, protein at breakfast, as examples), answers a two-question morning check-in, and ticks habits as the day goes. Streaks and goal progress bars show them how far they have come, which matters most in weeks five to eight when the scale often stalls.

Check-ins are built as coaching flows: a welcome flow, daily morning and evening check-ins, weekly check-ins and longer journeys. You can start from templates and edit the questions to fit your method, for example "hunger level before dinner" or "how many vegetable servings today".

The short walkthrough below shows how check-ins are set up and what clients answer.

Nutrition, workouts and progress photos

The Fitness & Nutrition pack adds the pieces weight loss coaches ask about most. You can set nutrition targets from calories alone up to full macros, share meal plans and recipes, and let clients use food lookup and barcode scanning. Clients upload private progress photos and measurements, and the weekly check-in pulls them into one place. For movement, the workout builder has an exercise library of illustrated exercises with supersets, circuits, AMRAP, EMOM, intervals and tempo, and clients log workouts with set history and personal records. Private form-check video lets a client upload a squat or hinge and get timestamped comments from you. Challenges suit a 30-day walking or hydration push for your group.

Two honest limits: there are no stock exercise videos (you attach your own demo videos to exercises), and there is no sync with Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura, and Apple Health sync is not available publicly. If step counts from a watch are central to your method, clients will type them in; check whether a fitness app below documents the device you need.

The coach's view: who needs you this week

Every client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, plus an AI briefing before each call. Clients are marked thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so on Monday morning you can see the three people who stopped logging and message them before they drop out. Our page on client accountability software explains the status logic in more detail.

Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data. She can draft a 12-week program outline, write a re-engagement email to quiet clients, summarize a recorded session, and brief you before a call on what the client logged this week. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. You can also set up an AI Coach, an AI version of you that selected clients can chat with between sessions, configured by you.

Booking, agreements and payments

Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time zones, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync and built-in video or automatic Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Reminders go by email, plus SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp one hour before once messaging is enabled. Intake questions can sit on the booking form. A coaching agreement with e-signature goes out before the first call and is stored on the client record, which is where your scope-of-practice line belongs.

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee (since August 2026), so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. There is no PayPal.

Group programs, community and marketing

When a client enrolls in a group program, a cohort group is created automatically, with a community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events. That makes a six-week group reset easy to run next to your private clients; see group coaching software for how cohorts work.

A demo group program in the client's Programs view, with the current week and its members.

For marketing, the section-based website builder includes a blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates, and you can import an existing site. Booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels track pixels and UTMs, and email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences cover the follow-up after someone downloads your meal-planning guide. More than 40 ready-to-film program templates and 48 course templates give you a starting structure.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create > We'll build it for you, you describe what you want built (a website, a funnel, a program, a course outline, an email sequence, a lead quiz, a form) and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, photos and existing copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. One recent example: a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing got a five-page site in sage and cream, with every button leading to a 20-minute consultation. The service does not cover recording videos, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing. Read more about the white-glove build service.

What Coachful does not do

Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. There is no PayPal, no permanent free plan, and no wearable sync. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. It is not a general website builder for non-coaching sites, and it has no third-party plugins.

Pricing is a flat monthly plan; lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and team plans add coach seats. Current plans: (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Monthly plans cancel in one click, and there is a free trial. To start, open the trial, then send a white-glove request for your website or first program while you set up booking and payments.

2. Is Everfit a good choice for training-led weight loss coaches?

Everfit is a good choice when workouts are the main thing you deliver and nutrition is a supporting layer. It is a fitness coaching app with workouts, habits, nutrition and messaging, priced by the number of clients you coach.

Everfit homepage in October 2026 with its headline and main sign-up call to action
Everfit's homepage in October 2026.

For a weight loss coach who grew out of personal training, Everfit feels familiar: you write training programs, assign habits, and message clients in one app. The pricing is unusually transparent. As listed in October 2026, Starter is $0 for up to 5 clients, and Pro starts at $19 a month for 5 clients and scales by client count: $29 for 10, $49 for 20, $95 for 50, $140 for 100 and $290 for 300 (lower annual rates are listed). Studio starts at $105 a month for 50 clients. A 30-day free trial needs no credit card.

The catch is the add-ons. Everfit lists automation (Autoflow), payments and meal plans as paid add-ons, so the real monthly cost for a weight loss coach who wants meal plans and automatic billing sits above the base tier. There is no course builder, website, funnel or email marketing, so you will still pay for a site and an email tool. Public reviewers on Trustpilot give it 2.7 from 16 reviews (seen October 2026), a small sample.

Pick it over Coachful if most of your clients come to you for structured training programs, you already have a website and email setup you like, and you are happy to buy meal plans and payments as add-ons.

3. When does ABC Trainerize make sense?

ABC Trainerize makes sense for fitness-first weight loss coaches who want a widely used training app with nutrition tracking and habits, and who are comfortable building a stack of add-ons around it.

ABC Trainerize homepage in October 2026 with its headline and main sign-up call to action
ABC Trainerize's homepage in October 2026.

Trainerize is priced by client seats. As listed in October 2026, Basic is free for 1 client, Grow is $10 a month for 2 clients, and Pro starts at $25 a month for 5 clients, with tiers at 15, 30, 50, 75, 100 and 200 clients. Trainerize's own pricing page states Pro scales to $135 a month for up to 50 clients; we could not read the exact 15-client figure from the page text, so check it before you budget. Studio Plus starts at $275 a month for 500 members. The 30-day free trial includes unlimited clients and no card, and reverts to the free 1-client plan with no charge.

The limits for a weight loss practice: scheduling, product sales, payments, video and advanced nutrition are separate paid add-ons below Studio, and there is no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing. An older profile reports that the client data export is incomplete (no messages, photos or attachments), which matters if you ever leave. Trustpilot shows 3.1 from 100 reviews (seen October 2026).

Pick it over Coachful if your clients mainly want a dedicated training app with nutrition tracking, and you prefer to add booking and payments one module at a time.

4. Should a dietitian choose Practice Better?

Yes, if you are a registered dietitian or clinical practitioner, Practice Better is the strongest fit in this list. It is practice management for wellness and nutrition practitioners: scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing, programs and a client portal.

Practice Better homepage in October 2026 with its headline and main sign-up call to action
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Charting is the difference. Where a coach keeps session notes, a dietitian keeps clinical records, and Practice Better is built for that. As listed in October 2026, Sprout is $0 for 3 clients, Starter is $35 a month for 10 clients, Professional is $69 a month for 300 clients, Plus is $99 a month for unlimited clients, and Team is $155 a month for 2 practitioners (lower annual rates listed). Paid plans come with a 14-day trial, or 30 days on Team.

Watch the plan gates. Evergreen programs, portal branding, a custom URL and SMS start on Plus, so a coach who wants a self-paced weight loss program and branded portal is looking at $99 a month, not $35. There is no website builder or funnel pages according to an older profile, and below Team each account has one practitioner. Trustpilot shows 3.8 from 87 reviews (seen October 2026). For a deeper comparison of nutrition-specific options, see our guide to the best coaching software for nutrition coaches.

Pick it over Coachful if you chart clinically, need a business associate agreement, or bill insurance; those needs outrank everything else on this page.

5. Is Paperbell enough for a session-based weight loss practice?

Paperbell is enough if you sell packages of calls and do not need daily habits or check-ins. It is all-in-one admin for solo coaches: booking, packages, payments, contracts, a client portal and a simple website.

Paperbell homepage in October 2026 with its headline and main sign-up call to action
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

Its appeal is simplicity. One plan, listed at $97 a month ($80.83 a month billed annually) in October 2026, with unlimited clients, sessions, files and packages, and no extra Paperbell transaction fee; Stripe or PayPal processing applies. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee. A client books, signs, pays and lands in a portal without you touching anything.

For weight loss coaching, though, the gaps are central rather than peripheral. Paperbell has no goal or habit tracking, no courses, and no community, according to an older profile, and there is no native mobile app, only the mobile browser. Clients would log habits somewhere else, which puts you back in the multi-tool problem. Trustpilot shows 3.5 from 14 reviews (seen October 2026). If you are weighing it, our Paperbell alternatives page lists tools that add delivery.

Pick it over Coachful if your offer is a fixed number of calls with homework sent by email, you want PayPal at checkout, and you never plan to run a group challenge.

6. What is Quenza good at for weight loss coaching?

Quenza is good at structured reflective activities: worksheets, journaling prompts, mindset exercises and multi-step programs delivered to a client app. For coaches who focus on emotional eating and the psychology of weight loss, that is useful.

Quenza homepage in October 2026 with its headline and main sign-up call to action
Quenza's homepage in October 2026.

Listed prices in October 2026: Spark is $25 a month for 1 professional and 10 clients, Growth is $50 a month for 250 clients, Impact is $125 a month for 400 clients, and Collective is $160 a month for up to 3 professionals and 500 clients. A 30-day trial needs no card. Trustpilot shows 4.3 from 8 reviews (seen October 2026).

The limits are hard ones for a paid practice. Quenza does not process client payments today; invoicing and digital products are marked as planned. An older profile notes no scheduling or video calls. So a coach using Quenza still needs a booking tool, a payment tool and a website, and the client gets three or four separate logins.

Pick it over Coachful if your method is mostly reflective worksheets and journaling, you already have booking and billing elsewhere, and you want a low-cost way to add structured activities.

7. Can Systeme.io run a weight loss coaching business?

Systeme.io can run the marketing side of a weight loss coaching business, but not the coaching itself. It is a low-cost marketing suite with funnels, email, courses, a community, a blog and an affiliate program.

Systeme.io homepage in October 2026 with its headline and main sign-up call to action
Systeme.io's homepage in October 2026.

Pricing is generous. As listed in October 2026, the free plan never expires and includes 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels and 1 course; Startup is $17 a month, Webinar $47 and Unlimited $97, all with 0% transaction fees. Trustpilot shows 4.9 from 8,696 reviews (seen October 2026), a large sample. For a coach selling a self-paced "30-day kitchen reset" course with an email sequence, it is a cheap way to start.

What it lacks is the 1:1 layer. There is no native 1:1 scheduling with client records, no habits and no check-ins according to an older profile, and the course and community features are basic, with no branded mobile app. Weight loss coaching that depends on daily accountability will need a second tool.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell mostly self-paced courses, run no private clients yet, and want to keep monthly spend near zero while you test an offer.

Which features does each tool include?

The matrix below shows what each tool documents for the jobs a weight loss coach does most. "Partial" means the feature exists with a notable limit or as a paid add-on; "Not listed" means the vendor material we hold does not document it.

What does each tool cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Monthly list prices for the plan that covers each client count, as listed in October 2026, before card processing and before add-ons unless noted. Prices per client climb fastest on fitness apps; per-coach plans stay flat.

Systeme.io$0 to $17$0 to $17$0 to $17A full 1:1 coaching tool for habits and check-ins

The right-hand column matters more than the price columns. A fitness app at $49 plus a website builder, an email tool, a scheduler and a payments add-on often costs more than an all-in-one plan, and your client juggles more logins. Add up your own stack before you compare.

How would you set up a 12-week weight loss program in Coachful?

A typical setup takes an afternoon of decisions and a few days of building, less if you hand the website and funnel to the white-glove team. Here is a worked example for a 12-week program called "Steady Reset" (an illustrative name).

A laptop showing a client's coaching progress page beside a meal-prep container and water bottle
The client's My Coaching page in Coachful, showing a 90-day reset journey, on a laptop beside a meal-prep container.
  1. Write the agreement. Add your scope line ("coaching supports habits and lifestyle change; it is not medical or dietetic treatment") and your referral rule. Attach it to the offer so it goes out before the first call.
  2. Build the intake. Ask about goals, current routines, schedule, food preferences and whether a doctor is managing any condition. Keep clinical detail out; refer when answers raise flags.
  3. Create the program. Start from a template or ask Michelle to draft 12 weekly goals: week one hydration and a morning walk, week three a protein target, week six an evening wind-down routine, and so on.
  4. Add habits and check-ins. Three to five daily habits, a 30-second morning check-in (sleep, energy) and an evening check-in (hunger, wins). Add a weekly check-in that asks for weight or measurements and an optional progress photo.
  5. Set nutrition targets. Calories and macros, or habit-only targets for clients who do better without numbers. Attach meal plans and recipes.
  6. Add movement. Two short strength sessions a week from the workout builder, with your own demo videos attached.
  7. Create the offer and payment. A monthly subscription or a payment plan through your Stripe account, with the agreement and intake attached.
  8. Open the cohort. If you run the program as a group, the cohort community is created on enrollment; schedule a weekly group call.
  9. Connect marketing. A lead-magnet funnel for a one-week meal planner, followed by a five-email sequence that invites readers to book a consultation.

What the client experiences: they book a call from your site, answer intake questions, sign the agreement and pay, then open your branded app. On day one they see a welcome flow, their first habits and the morning check-in. Each week a new goal unlocks, Sunday's check-in asks for measurements, and they can post a win in the group. Before each call, you get a briefing on what they logged.

What red flags and switching costs should you watch for?

The expensive mistakes are the ones you only discover a year in, when you have 40 clients and their history lives in a tool that is hard to leave. Check these before you sign up.

  • Per-client pricing that jumps at your growth point. A tool that is cheap at 5 clients can be several times the price at 40. Price your 12-month target, not today's roster.
  • Core features sold as add-ons. If payments, scheduling or meal plans are add-ons, add them to the base price before comparing.
  • Incomplete data export. Ask what leaves with you: notes, check-ins, photos, messages. Coachful exports the full client record as a ZIP (roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions, form responses).
  • Photos stored in the wrong place. Progress photos are sensitive. Keep them private on the client record, never in group chats or your personal phone.
  • Clinical work in a coaching tool. If you are a clinician, a coaching platform without a BAA is the wrong tool, however good its habits screen is.
  • Too many client logins. Every extra app is a place a client can drop off. Count the logins your client will have.
  • Before-and-after claims. Results marketing must reflect typical outcomes. Keep written consent for every photo you publish.

Switching itself costs time: rebuilding programs, re-inviting clients, and moving payment subscriptions (which usually means clients re-entering cards unless your processor supports migration). Coachful imports clients, programs and content for you during onboarding, which removes most of the rebuild.

What is our verdict?

For most weight loss coaches who sell programs, Coachful is the best choice, because daily habits, check-ins, nutrition targets, progress photos, payments, a community and marketing all sit in one place and the free white-glove build takes setup off your plate. Choose Practice Better if you are a dietitian who charts clinically or needs a BAA. Choose Everfit or ABC Trainerize if training programming is most of what you sell and you will build the rest around it. Paperbell suits session-package admin, Quenza suits reflective worksheet work, and Systeme.io is a low-cost marketing starting point.

If you coach in an adjacent niche, our guides for menopause coaches and health coaches apply the same test to those practices.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best software for weight loss coaches?

For program-based, non-clinical weight loss coaches, Coachful is our pick because it combines habits, check-ins, nutrition targets, progress photos, booking, payments, community and marketing behind one login. Dietitians who chart clinically should look at Practice Better, and training-led coaches at Everfit or ABC Trainerize.

Do weight loss coaches need HIPAA-compliant software?

It depends on whether you are a covered entity, such as a licensed provider who bills insurance electronically. Most non-clinical coaches are not, but check with an attorney if you are unsure. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA; Practice Better targets clinical practitioners.

Can clients log meals and scan barcodes in Coachful?

Yes. The Fitness & Nutrition pack includes nutrition targets up to calories and macros, meal plans, recipes, food lookup and barcode scanning. Clients can also upload private progress photos and measurements.

Does Coachful sync with Apple Health, Fitbit or Garmin?

No. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not available publicly. Clients enter steps or activity manually in a habit or check-in.

What does Coachful's free white-glove service include?

You describe what you want, such as a website, funnel, program, course outline or email sequence, attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing, and nothing such as testimonials or credentials is invented.

Is a fitness app or a coaching platform better for weight loss coaching?

A fitness app is better when detailed training programs are most of what you sell. A coaching platform is better when your results come from habits, nutrition and accountability, with workouts as one part. Many weight loss coaches fall into the second group.

How much should weight loss coaching software cost?

Compare the total stack, not one subscription. As listed in October 2026, fitness apps priced per client range from free at 5 clients to around $95 to $135 at 50 clients before add-ons, while flat tools stay fixed. Add the website, email, scheduling and payment tools you would still need.

Can I run a group weight loss challenge and 1:1 clients in the same tool?

In Coachful, yes: a cohort group is created when clients enroll in a group program, with a feed, chat and video events, while private clients keep their own plans. Several tools in this list need a separate community product for groups.

Should I put a scope-of-practice statement in my agreement?

Yes. State that coaching supports habits and lifestyle change and is not medical or dietetic treatment, and say when you will refer to a physician or registered dietitian. Have it signed before the first session.

What happens to my client data if I leave Coachful?

You can export the full client record as a ZIP, including roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions and form responses, and you can export courses. Monthly plans cancel in one click.
