Coaching Conferences 2026: Dates, Prices and Picks

The coaching conferences 2026 season is nearly over, so the useful calendar now runs from late 2026 through 2027. For most coaches, three events are worth planning around: ICF Converge 2027 in Denver (September 23 to 25, 2027), the smaller ICF Converge Summit 2027 in Berlin (May 23 to 25, 2027) and the EMCC Global Annual Conference in Seoul (5 to 8 May 2027, also online). If your budget is tight, the low-cost online sessions run by ICF chapters and the Association for Coaching give you credits and contacts without a flight. Every date and price below was checked on the organizer's official page on November 6, 2026. Events we could not verify were left out.
A ticket only pays off if the people you meet become clients. That is where Coachful comes in. We make Coachful, a coaching platform that puts a booking page, a lead-magnet funnel, email follow-up and your client records under one login, so a business card from Denver turns into a booked discovery call the same week. The second half of this guide shows the before, during and after plan, with screens.
Which coaching conferences are worth it in late 2026 and 2027?
Pick ICF Converge 2027 if you want the largest gathering and CCE credits, ICF Converge Summit 2027 if you prefer a smaller in-person room in Europe, and EMCC in Seoul if you work in Asia or want to join online. The table lists all 13 events we verified, as listed on November 6, 2026. "Not announced" means the official page did not show a price that day.
| Event | Dates | City or virtual | Organizer | Price as listed | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ICF Converge 2027 | Sept 23 to 25, 2027 | Denver, CO, USA | International Coaching Federation | Not announced; ICF members save on every registration type | Credentialed coaches who want the biggest room and CCE credits |
| ICF Converge Summit 2027 | May 23 to 25, 2027 | Berlin, Germany | International Coaching Federation | Not announced; interest list open | Coaches in Europe who prefer a smaller, participatory format |
| EMCC Global Annual Conference 2027 | 5 to 8 May 2027 | Seoul, South Korea, or online via Zoom | EMCC Global | Not announced; waitlist open | Coaches, mentors and supervisors in Asia, or anyone joining remotely |
| 15th International Conference on Coaching Supervision | 13 May 2027 | Oxford, UK, hybrid | Oxford Brookes University | Not announced | Supervisors and coaches building a supervision practice |
| Coaching for Good 2027 | 16 June 2027 | Edinburgh, UK (venue to confirm) | University of Edinburgh Business School | Not announced; register interest | Coaches interested in AI, ethics and widening access |
| ATD 2027 International Conference and EXPO | May 16 to 19, 2027 | Boston, MA, USA | Association for Talent Development | $2,095 member, $2,495 nonmember until Dec 31 | Internal coaches and coaches who sell to L&D teams |
| 10th World Congress on Positive Psychology | July 7 to 10, 2027 | Istanbul, Türkiye | International Positive Psychology Association | Not shown on the page checked | Wellbeing and positive psychology coaches |
| 69th RRCA National Convention | April 8 to 11, 2027 | Austin, TX, USA | Road Runners Club of America | $425 before March 31; coaching certification option $475 | Running and endurance coaches |
| 16th ICCE Global Coach Conference | 25 to 28 November 2027 | Wellington, New Zealand | ICCE with Sport New Zealand | Not announced | Sport and performance coaches |
| Core Competencies Fall Summit 2026 | November 9 to 12, 2026 | Sessions in US Eastern Time | ICF South Florida Chapter | $25 per session for non-members | Coaches working toward PCC or MCC |
| Coach Approach Accelerator | Nov 17 to Dec 8, 2026 | Virtual | ITS, listed by ANLP | Not shown on the page checked | Managers and leaders adding coaching skills |
| AC Supervision and Reflective Practice for Coaches | 18 November 2026 | Virtual, Zoom (Singapore time) | Association for Coaching | Members complimentary; non-members SGD$35 or £20 | Coaches who want CPD hours on supervision |
| Envisioning your Coaching Practice in 2027 | 7 January 2027 | Virtual, Zoom (GMT) | Association for Coaching | Members complimentary; non-members €25 or £22 | Solo coaches planning the year ahead |
Two patterns stand out. The big 2027 flagships have dates and venues but no published ticket prices yet, so budget from past editions and confirm before booking. The online sessions are cheap and close, which makes them good practice for the follow-up system described later.
What does each coaching conference offer?
Each entry below covers what the event is, who attends, what it costs and what to expect, using only what the official page said on November 6, 2026.
ICF Converge 2027 (Denver)
ICF Converge is the International Coaching Federation's global conference, and ICF describes it as the world's largest in-person coaching conference. The 2027 edition runs September 23 to 25, 2027 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. Expect a room of ICF members, credentialed coaches and coach educators.
Prices were not published when we checked. The official ICF Converge page says ICF members save on every registration type at every phase, and that attendees earn Continuing Coach Education (CCE) credits toward credential renewal; the CCE total for 2027 was still being calculated. The program mixes keynotes, workshops and networking. If you are close to a credential renewal, this is the event where the hours and the contacts arrive together.
ICF Converge Summit 2027 (Berlin)
The Converge Summit is ICF's European format, built around participation and conversation rather than a large keynote hall. After its first edition in Paris, the 2027 Summit runs May 23 to 25, 2027 at the Estrel Hotel Berlin. ICF says it is designed as an in-person event, with registration released in phases and ICF member savings.
The Summit page listed no prices and asked visitors to join an interest list; CCE totals were still being calculated. It suits European coaches who want ICF credits without crossing the Atlantic, and anyone who finds big conferences hard to work.
EMCC Global Annual Conference 2027 (Seoul)
EMCC Global is a not-for-profit body for coaching, mentoring and supervision, registered in Belgium. Its 2027 annual conference runs 5 to 8 May 2027 at the Mondrian Seoul Itaewon in Seoul, Republic of Korea, and online via Zoom with translated captions. EMCC says it expects coaches, mentors and supervisors from across Asia and around the world.
No ticket prices were shown on the conference site or the EMCC announcement; there was a waitlist and a form to suggest topics or speakers. The online option makes this the most accessible flagship on the list if travel to Korea is not realistic.
15th International Conference on Coaching Supervision (Oxford)
Oxford Brookes University runs this one-day conference, now in its 15th year. The 2027 edition is on Thursday 13 May 2027, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, in Oxford, UK, with a hybrid format so presenters and attendees can join in person or online. The 2027 theme is the interdisciplinarity of coaching supervision: where ethics and social action sit next to psychology and business.
The university's event page did not list a price yet. Expect a research-heavy room of supervisors, academics and experienced coaches. If you supervise other coaches or plan to train as a supervisor, this is a focused day with the right people in it.
Coaching for Good 2027 (Edinburgh)
The University of Edinburgh Business School held its first Coaching for Good conference on 21 May 2026, with more than 150 coaches, leaders and practitioners. The school has issued a save-the-date for 16 June 2027 and invites people to register interest. Themes carried forward from 2026 include working alongside AI in ethical ways, the human qualities that make coaching distinctive, and widening access to coaching through volunteer coaches.
No price was listed on the school's page. It suits coaches who care about pro bono work, coaching in the public sector, or how AI will change their work.
ATD 2027 International Conference and EXPO (Boston)
ATD is a talent development conference rather than a coaching-only event, which is why it belongs here: it draws the L&D and leadership development teams that buy coaching. ATD 2027 runs May 16 to 19, 2027 in Boston, Massachusetts. As listed in November 2026, registration is $2,095 for members and $2,495 for nonmembers until December 31, then $2,295 and $2,695 until February 27. Teams of five or more can ask for special pricing.
Go if you sell coaching to companies: the people who sign coaching budgets attend. Skip it if your clients are individuals paying for themselves.
10th World Congress on Positive Psychology (Istanbul)
The International Positive Psychology Association's 10th World Congress on Positive Psychology runs July 7 to 10, 2027 in Istanbul, Türkiye. The audience is researchers, practitioners and coaches who use positive psychology, strengths and wellbeing tools in their work.
The congress leadership page we checked did not show registration prices. It suits wellbeing, resilience and strengths-based coaches who want research they can cite in their own marketing and programs.
69th RRCA National Convention (Austin)
The Road Runners Club of America convention brings together club leaders, race directors, coaches and sponsors. The 69th edition runs April 8 to 11, 2027 in Austin, Texas, alongside the 50th Statesman Cap10K, with the Hilton Austin as host hotel. Registration is $425 before March 31 and $450 after April 1, as listed in November 2026. A special coaching cohort that adds the RRCA Coaching Certification Level I and an in-person Level II session costs $475.
It is the most practical pick here for running and endurance coaches: you can finish a certification requirement and meet club leaders who refer athletes. Coaches in other niches can skip it.
16th ICCE Global Coach Conference (Wellington)
The International Council for Coaching Excellence, with Sport New Zealand, Tourism New Zealand and Business Events Wellington, will host its 16th Global Coach Conference in Wellington, New Zealand, from 25 to 28 November 2027. This is a sport coaching event: national federations, coach developers and performance coaches.
No price was posted. For fitness and performance coaches in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, it is a rare global event close to home.
Core Competencies Fall Summit 2026 (ICF South Florida Chapter)
ICF chapters run some of the best-value learning in coaching, and this is a clear example. The South Florida Chapter's Core Competencies Fall Summit runs a series of 90-minute sessions from November 9 to 12, 2026, each led by an MCC coach (the line-up includes Marcia Reynolds, Zsofia Juhasz and Elias Scultori, among others). The session page we checked offers 1.5 Core Competencies CCEs, and the non-member price shown was $25.
The sessions are scheduled in US Eastern Time and listed on the ICF events calendar. It suits coaches preparing for a PCC or MCC application who want to watch masterful coaching taken apart competency by competency.
Coach Approach Accelerator (ITS, listed by ANLP)
ITS runs Mastering the Coach Approach entirely online, and the Coach Approach Accelerator, "Developing the Human Side of Leadership", is three 90-minute webinars on powerful leadership conversations, with eBooks and support materials. It starts November 17, 2026 and ends December 8, 2026. Further Mastering the Coach Approach start dates are 22 January, 2 February and 18 March 2027.
The page did not show a price for the accelerator when we checked. It suits managers, HR partners and new coaches who want structured practice rather than a conference crowd.
AC Supervision and Reflective Practice for Coaches (online)
The Association for Coaching's Southeast Asia and Australia team hosts a 90-minute interactive session with Dr Iain McCormick on 18 November 2026, 3:00 to 4:30 pm Singapore time, on Zoom. It covers evidence-based frameworks and practical tools for supervision conversations. AC members attend free of charge; non-members pay SGD$35 or £20 plus VAT where applicable, as listed on the AC event page. All AC events come with a CPD certificate.
Envisioning your Coaching Practice in 2027 (online)
Also from the Association for Coaching, this 90-minute reflection call on Thursday 7 January 2027, 12:30 to 2:00 pm GMT, helps individual and internal coaches set intentions for their practice for the year. Members attend free of charge; non-members pay €25 or £22 plus VAT where applicable, according to the event listing. It is a good first event of the year to attend before you commit to a flagship conference.
How do you choose the right coaching conference?
Start with what you need the event to produce: credits, clients, referrals or skills. Then filter by budget, niche and format. A conference that matches your buyers beats a bigger one that matches your peers.
- Budget. A flagship in another country can cost several times the ticket once flights, hotel and lost client hours are counted (see the budget table below). If that would strain your cash flow, spend 2027 on two or three online sessions and one regional event.
- Niche. Running coaches belong at RRCA, sport coaches at ICCE, coaches who sell to companies at ATD, supervisors at Oxford Brookes. Life and business coaches get the most from ICF and EMCC rooms. If you are still narrowing your market, our list of 60 coaching niches helps you decide whose room to be in.
- Credits. Only count credits an official page states. ICF says Converge and Converge Summit earn CCE credits (2027 totals pending), the ICF South Florida session we checked lists 1.5 Core Competencies CCEs, and Association for Coaching events issue a CPD certificate. If you are tracking hours toward ACC, PCC or MCC, read our guide to ICF coaching hours.
- In person or virtual. In person wins for referrals and speaking. Virtual wins for skills, credits and cost. EMCC Seoul and the Oxford Brookes conference let you choose either.
- Who else attends. If peers fill the room, you will learn a lot and sign few clients. If buyers fill it (HR leaders at ATD, club leaders at RRCA), plan for sales conversations.
How much does one in-person coaching conference really cost?
The ticket is often less than half of the total. The table below uses ATD's published member rate as the one real price; every other figure is an illustrative example for a coach flying in for three nights, so replace them with your own quotes. The Coachful row is the follow-up stack that turns the trip into revenue.
| Line item | Example cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Coachful (booking page, funnel, email follow-up) | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Monthly plan you already use for clients; nothing extra for the event |
| Ticket (ATD 2027 member rate until Dec 31) | $2,095 | Real price as listed in November 2026; other events not yet priced |
| Return flight | $450 (example) | Book once dates are fixed |
| Hotel, 3 nights | $750 (example) | Host hotels often release room blocks at a group rate |
| Meals and local transport | $250 (example) | Budget for a client dinner or two |
| Printed cards or QR stand | $40 (example) | One QR code that opens your booking funnel |
| Client sessions moved or missed | Your hourly rate x hours away (example) | The cost most coaches forget |
| Example total before lost sessions | $3,585 (example) | Divide by your average client value to find your break-even |
Run the break-even before you book. If your average client is worth, for example, $1,500 over the engagement, an example total of $3,585 means you need about three new clients from the trip. That is a reasonable target with the system below, and an unrealistic one without it.
How do you get a return from a coaching conference?
Decide the one next step every new contact gets, build it before you travel, and follow up within 48 hours. In practice that means a booking page, a short lead magnet and a three-email sequence, all reached from one QR code.

Before the event: build the follow-up path
Two weeks out, set up three things. First, a discovery call type with buffers and minimum notice, so people can book from their phone while you are still in the hallway. Coachful's booking pages detect time zones automatically and sync two-way with Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendars, which matters when you meet people from five countries in one afternoon. You can add intake questions on booking ("What made you stop by today?"), and the call gets a built-in video room or an auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams link. See Coachful scheduling for the details.

Second, a lead-magnet funnel tied to the event's theme: a checklist, a one-page framework from your talk, or a short worksheet. In Coachful, booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels sit in one place, with pixels and UTM tracking so you can tag everything from the event. Here is a walkthrough of building one:

Third, an email sequence: a thank-you with the resource, a short story or case for your method two days later, and an invitation to book a call on day five. Coachful's sequences support triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits, so contacts who already booked stop getting the invitation. More on this on the funnel software page.

During the event: capture, do not collect
Business cards end up in a drawer. Instead, show one QR code on your phone or badge that opens the lead-magnet funnel with a UTM tag for the event. People opt in on the spot, and their details land in your leads table with the source attached. Add a one-line note on your phone after each conversation: what they said, what they need. If someone says "I'd like to talk", book the call right there rather than promising to email.

After the event: follow up in 48 hours
Within two days, send a personal note to everyone you had a real conversation with, referencing what they said. Let the sequence handle the rest. Track who booked on the Intakes page, which shows upcoming calls, converted calls and a conversion rate, so you can judge the trip with numbers rather than memory.

When a discovery call converts, the same record carries through: Coachful sends the coaching agreement for e-signature before the first session, takes payment through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, and opens the client's branded home. Replies from new contacts land next to everything else.

If you are an ICF credential holder, the conference pays twice. Coachful's ICF credential tracking counts your coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log, so new clients from the trip move your credential forward too. See ICF hour tracking.

Which tools turn conference contacts into booked calls?
You need a booking page, an opt-in page and email follow-up that share one contact record. Coachful does all three in one login; the other options cover one piece each, so you join them yourself. Prices for other tools are as listed in October 2026.
| Tool | What it covers after an event | Price as listed | Gap to fill |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Booking pages, lead-magnet and booking funnels, email sequences, leads and intake tracking, agreements, payments, client app | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | No HubSpot or Salesforce sync; no PayPal |
| Calendly | Booking pages and reminders | Free plan with 1 event type; Standard $10 per seat per month billed annually | No lead magnets, email sequences or client records |
| Kit | Landing pages and email sequences | Free up to 10,000 subscribers; Creator from $39/month | No scheduling or client records |
| HoneyBook | Lead forms, proposals, contracts, invoices, scheduler | Essentials $59/month ($49/month annual) | No programs, courses or client check-ins |
A stack of separate tools works, but every handoff is a place a lead can fall through. For a deeper comparison, see our roundup of coaching platforms to get clients.
Should you speak at a coaching conference instead of attending?
Yes, if you can deliver one specific, useful idea in 30 to 60 minutes. A speaker slot puts you in front of the whole room, and some events reduce or waive the ticket for speakers (check each call for proposals). The hard part is the proposal, not the talk.
Watch for calls for proposals on the official pages: ICF has published calls for proposals for past Converge events, EMCC's 2027 page already collects topic and speaker suggestions, and the Oxford Brookes conference welcomes presenters in person or online. Our conference speaker proposal template for coaches breaks a winning proposal into five parts, with examples.
Plan the ending of your talk as carefully as the opening. Give the room one resource that continues the talk (the framework as a worksheet, or the slides with notes) behind a single QR code, and point it at a lead-magnet funnel. Then send people to an offer page that explains what working with you looks like. If public speaking is part of your own coaching niche, see how to start a public speaking coaching business.

Can you host your own virtual coaching summit?
Yes, and for many coaches it returns more than attending, because every attendee opted in to hear from you. A small online summit with five or six guest speakers, a registration funnel and a replay window is within reach of a solo coach.
In Coachful, the pieces sit together: a registration funnel with a checkout if you charge, video events, group calls and webinars for the live sessions, a community feed and group chat for attendees between sessions, and an email sequence for reminders and replays. Speakers bring their audiences; you keep the leads in your own records. Here is how webinars work inside Coachful:
Our step-by-step guide on how to host a coaching summit without Hopin covers speaker outreach, run-of-show and replay strategy. For ongoing cohorts after the summit, see group coaching software.

What is Coachful, and how does it fit a conference plan?
Coachful is a coaching platform. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant, with one login for the coach and one branded app for the client. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than single sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and coaches replacing four to six separate tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia.
For conference season, that means the QR code, the booking page, the follow-up emails and the new client's onboarding all live in one place. Current plans: (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Monthly plans cancel in one click, and lower plans cap the number of clients while Pro is unlimited.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. If you have a conference in six weeks and no funnel, you can ask the Coachful team to build it. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you", describe what you need (a website, a lead-magnet funnel, an event or webinar page, an email sequence) and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files. The team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours, and leaves gaps for you instead of inventing credentials, testimonials or prices. One business mentor for beauty professionals, for example, got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. Read more about the white-glove build service.

What Coachful does not do: it is not HIPAA-certified, so clinical records belong elsewhere; it has no PayPal and no permanent free plan; it does not sync with HubSpot or Salesforce; and the client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding rather than your own App Store account. To start, open a free trial, request a white-glove build of your event funnel, and test the QR code on a friend before you pack.

What mistakes do coaches make at conferences?
The most expensive mistake is going without a follow-up plan. The rest are smaller but add up.
- Booking before the price is out. Several 2027 flagships list dates but no prices yet. Hold the dates, join the interest list, and wait for the early rates.
- Counting credits the page does not state. Only plan on CCE or CPD hours an official page confirms, and keep your certificates.
- Collecting cards instead of opt-ins. A card needs you to type it in later. An opt-in lands in your records with the event tag already attached.
- Pitching in the hallway. Ask questions, offer the resource, book the call. Save the offer for the call.
- Following up a week late. Memory fades fast after a three-day event. Send personal notes within 48 hours.
- Choosing the room full of peers. Peers are great for learning and referrals, but if you need clients, pick the event where your buyers are.
- Ignoring the cost of time away. Count the sessions you move or cancel in the budget.
Coaching conferences 2026 and 2027: FAQ
What is the biggest coaching conference in 2027?
ICF describes ICF Converge as the world's largest in-person coaching conference. The 2027 edition runs September 23 to 25, 2027 in Denver, Colorado, as listed on November 6, 2026. Ticket prices had not been published.
Are there any coaching conferences left in 2026?
Yes, mostly online. The ICF South Florida Chapter's Core Competencies Fall Summit runs November 9 to 12, the Association for Coaching hosts a supervision session on 18 November, and the Coach Approach Accelerator runs from November 17 to December 8, 2026.
Which coaching conferences offer ICF CCE credits?
ICF says both Converge 2027 and Converge Summit 2027 earn CCE credits, with totals still being calculated. The ICF South Florida Chapter session we checked lists 1.5 Core Competencies CCEs. For any other event, check the official page before counting the hours.
Are there virtual coaching conferences in 2027?
EMCC's Global Annual Conference in May 2027 can be joined online via Zoom with translated captions, and the Oxford Brookes conference on coaching supervision is hybrid. The Association for Coaching also runs short online events throughout the year, such as its 7 January 2027 planning call.
How much should I budget for a coaching conference?
Plan on the ticket plus travel, hotel, meals and lost client time. ATD 2027's member rate is $2,095 until December 31, and in our illustrative example the full trip comes to about $3,585 before lost sessions. Online sessions from ICF chapters and the Association for Coaching cost far less.
How do I get clients from a coaching conference?
Build a booking page, a lead-magnet funnel and a short email sequence before you go, then share one QR code that opens the funnel. Follow up personally within 48 hours. Coachful puts these pieces under one login so every contact lands in the same record.
Is it worth speaking at a coaching conference?
Usually, if you can teach one specific idea well. Speakers get visibility with the whole room, and some events reduce the ticket for them. Use our speaker proposal template to structure your pitch.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a done-for-you build included on every plan. You describe what you need, such as an event funnel, a webinar page or an email sequence, attach references, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management.
Can I host my own coaching summit instead?
Yes. A small virtual summit with guest speakers, a registration funnel and replays can bring in more leads than attending, because every registrant opted in to hear from you. Our guide to hosting a coaching summit without Hopin walks through it.
