Wellness Conferences 2026: 15 Events Worth Your Time

The wellness conferences 2026 season worth planning around runs from November 2026 into September 2027, and for most wellness coaches four events cover the ground: the Annual Wellness Summit in San Diego (August 2027) for workplace wellbeing buyers, the ACSM and ACE Health and Fitness Summit in Chicago (March 2027) for health and fitness coaches, the Integrative Healthcare Symposium in New York (February 2027) for practitioner referral partners, and Lifestyle Medicine 2027 in Fort Worth or online (September 2027) for evidence-minded coaches who want clinicians in the room. Below are 15 events with dates, cities, organizers and prices, each checked on its official page on November 6, 2026. Every date and price is as listed in November 2026, so confirm on the organizer's site before you book flights.
A ticket only pays off if the people you meet become booked calls. That is where Coachful comes in: it is the coaching platform many attendees use to put a follow-up page, a booking link and a lead magnet behind one QR code, then run the emails that turn a hallway chat into a first session. We make Coachful, so read the event list on its own merits, then decide whether the follow-up section helps you.
Which wellness conferences in 2026 and 2027 are worth attending?
The right event depends on who you want to meet, not on how famous the event is. Coaches who sell to employers should go where HR and benefits leads gather; coaches who want clinician referrals should go where integrative practitioners earn credits; coaches who want peers and skills can pick whatever fits the budget.
The table lists all 15 in date order. "Price as listed" means the figure on the official page on November 6, 2026; where the page we checked did not show a price, the cell says so instead of guessing. Every event name appears in plain text, so search the name plus the year to reach the organizer.

Two events from early searches did not make the list. Several aggregator sites list 2027 dates for an anti-aging congress and a US wellbeing-at-work series, but we could not reach an official page confirming them on November 6, 2026, so they are left out rather than guessed.
What is each event like, and who goes?
Each entry below covers what the event is, who attends, what it costs as listed, and what to expect if you go as a coach rather than a clinician or vendor. They run in date order.
1. Lifestyle Medicine 2026 (LM2026): November 8-11, 2026, Orlando or online
The American College of Lifestyle Medicine runs this annual conference for clinicians, researchers, health system leaders and educators who treat nutrition, movement, sleep, stress and connection as core parts of care. ACLM's page lists Orlando or online, and says eligible participants may earn up to 49.25 continuing education credits, with the number and type varying by profession. With the event two days away at the time of writing, the online pass is the practical route for most coaches.
What to expect: research-heavy sessions on scaling lifestyle medicine, payment and digital care. It is a clinical audience, so go to learn the language physicians use about behavior change, which pays off when you pitch referral partnerships later.
2. Global Wellness Summit 2026: November 10-13, 2026, Phuket, Thailand
The 20th Global Wellness Summit takes place in Phuket, according to the organizer's delegate hub. Attendance runs through a delegate application process rather than an open checkout, and no ticket price was visible on the pages we checked. The audience leans toward spa, hospitality, wellness real estate, investors and research leaders, and the summit publishes an annual future-of-wellness trends report.
What to expect: keynotes on longevity and the business of wellness. For most independent coaches the trends report and on-demand content are the useful part; the room suits coaches building retreat or hospitality partnerships.
3. Wisconsin Employee Wellness Conference: December 8-9, 2026, Madison
Wellness Alliance, an affiliate of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans that the Wellness Council of Wisconsin formally joined in 2026, runs this two-day event. Its own article calls it the largest gathering in the Midwest specific to employee well-being. Listed rates range from $495 to $795 depending on registration type.
What to expect: HR, benefits and wellness program managers from Midwest employers. If you sell workplace programs, a regional event like this often beats a national one because the attendees are reachable buyers within driving distance.
4. Healthy Kitchens, Healthy Lives 2027: February 3-5, 2027, Napa
This culinary medicine conference puts hands-on sessions in The Culinary Institute of America at Copia teaching kitchens. Registration was listed as sold out on November 6, 2026. Standard rates on the page were $1,795 (physicians, with CME), $1,450 (non-MD healthcare professionals, foodservice professionals and chefs, with CEU and CPEU options) and $905 (students), plus a limited kitchen session at $200 extra and a small number of $795 scholarship tickets.
What to expect: cooking alongside clinicians and dietitians. Nutrition-focused health coaches should join the waitlist or mark the 2028 edition, since the format is unusually practical.
5. Mayo Clinic Practical Integrative Medicine 2027: February 11-13, 2027, Lake Buena Vista
Mayo Clinic's continuing education school hosts this course at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The page lists $940 for MD, DO and PhD attendees and $705 for allied health, NP, PA and retirees. Sessions include practical skills such as acupressure for sleep and relaxation.
What to expect: a clinician audience learning integrative tools. A coach goes here to understand where integrative care sits in a medical setting, not to sell. Keep your scope clear in every conversation.
6. Integrative Healthcare Symposium 2027: February 18-20, 2027, New York
Now in its 22nd year, the symposium takes place at the New York Hilton Midtown and is run by Diversified Communications. Its site names medical doctors, osteopaths, naturopathic doctors, registered dietitian nutritionists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and health coaches among its audience, offers CME, CNE and CPEU credits, and counted 1,700+ attendees at the 2026 edition. Registration for 2027 is open; the attend page we checked did not show a price.
What to expect: a conference program plus a large exhibit hall. For a health coach this is the best room on the list for meeting practitioners who might refer clients for lifestyle and habit support between appointments.
7. 2027 ACSM and ACE Health and Fitness Summit: March 6-8, 2027, Chicago
The American College of Sports Medicine and the American Council on Exercise are co-presenting the 2027 summit at the Hilton Chicago, which ACSM says marks the return to in-person after a virtual-only 2026. The page says the summit is designed for exercise professionals, health coaches, fitness facility managers, business owners and exercise science students. Registration is open.
What to expect: science and practice sessions for people who coach movement and behavior. Health and fitness coaches get the most direct skills value here of any event on the list.
8. Health and Wellbeing at Work 2027: March 9-10, 2027, Birmingham, UK
Held at the NEC Birmingham, this UK event covers workplace health, wellbeing, HR and occupational health, with 140+ sessions and 150+ exhibitors listed. The standard ticket was listed at £79 plus VAT. The organizer tells exhibitors the event reaches over 4,000 senior professionals.
What to expect: a large, affordable trade-show format. For UK and European corporate wellness coaches it is the cheapest way on this list to stand in a room of HR decision makers.
9. Integrative Medicine Conference 2027: March 11-12, 2027, Tucson
The Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona hosts this two-day, in-person conference on its Health Sciences Campus, with an alumni and associates day on March 10. The page lists $695 (down from $795), covering plenaries, concurrent sessions, the poster reception, the exhibit hall and lunches. Virtual and single-day tickets are not available.
What to expect: a smaller crowd, which makes real conversations easier. Good for coaches who want depth with integrative physicians and nurses rather than a big expo floor.
10. International Congress on Integrative Medicine and Health: April 13-15, 2027, Minneapolis
The Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine and Health convenes this congress at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis under the theme "Leading the Transformation of Healthcare: Implementing Whole Person Care at Scale." A members meeting runs April 11-12 and pre-congress workshops on April 12. Pricing was not visible on the page we checked.
What to expect: academic research and health system implementation. Coaches who partner with hospitals, universities or whole-person care programs will find their future collaborators here.
11. Society of Behavioral Medicine Annual Meeting: April 14-17, 2027, Atlanta
The Society of Behavioral Medicine lists its 48th Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions at the Hilton Atlanta, with 2028 already set for Seattle. The audience is researchers and clinicians studying how people change health behaviors. Fees were not shown on the meetings page we checked.
What to expect: the science behind the tools coaches use every day: habit formation, motivation and digital interventions. Go if you want your programs grounded in current research and want material for evidence-based content.
12. Business Group on Health 2027 Annual Conference: April 28-30, 2027, Washington, DC
Business Group on Health describes itself as a network helping large employers improve how they approach health and benefits. Its conference page confirms Washington, DC for April 28-30, 2027. No registration price was visible on the page we checked.
What to expect: benefits strategy at the largest employers. Most independent coaches will learn more from the published agenda and session themes than from trying to attend; read them to understand how benefits buyers talk about wellbeing budgets.
13. IFM Annual International Conference (AIC 2027): June 2-5, 2027, San Diego
The Institute for Functional Medicine returns to the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego for the third year running. IFM shows tiered pricing in an image on its page, says registering early locks in the lowest available rate, and lists a 10% saving for IFM members. The page also describes attendance options, including attending virtually, and an open call for main stage and breakout proposals.
What to expect: functional medicine practitioners, research updates and a busy exhibit hall. Functional medicine health coaches meet the clinicians who already hire or refer to coaches.
14. 2027 Annual Wellness Summit: August 3-5, 2027, San Diego
Wellness Alliance runs the Annual Wellness Summit at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, with preconferences on August 2. Registration is open. The rate chart lists the core conference from $1,195 to $1,695 depending on membership and whether you register by June 22, 2027, with a $695 student member rate and preconferences from $250 (student member) to $595.
What to expect: the people who run workplace wellness programs, plus exhibitors who sell to them. If your offer is a corporate program, this is the single most relevant room on the list.
15. Lifestyle Medicine 2027 (LM2027): September 26-29, 2027, Fort Worth or online
ACLM has already announced its 2027 conference for Fort Worth, Texas, and online. The call for proposals, for three-hour workshops and one-hour concurrent sessions, closes on Friday, November 20, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. ET. Ticket prices were not on the proposal page.
What to expect: the same clinical and research crowd as LM2026. If you coach inside a clinic or alongside physicians and have outcome data to share, this is the most time-sensitive opportunity in this guide.
How do you choose the right wellness conference?
Pick by the buyer or referral partner you want to meet, then filter by budget, credits and format. A coach who learns a lot but meets no future clients has bought an expensive course.
- Start with your niche. Corporate wellness coaches belong at the Annual Wellness Summit, the Wisconsin Employee Wellness Conference or Health and Wellbeing at Work. Health and fitness coaches belong at the ACSM and ACE summit. Coaches who want clinician referrals belong at the Integrative Healthcare Symposium, the Weil Center conference or IFM's AIC.
- Set a total budget, not a ticket budget. Travel and hotel usually match or exceed the registration fee. The budget table below shows how to add it up.
- Check credits on the official page. LM2026 lists up to 49.25 continuing education credits; the Integrative Healthcare Symposium lists CME, CNE and CPEU; Healthy Kitchens, Healthy Lives lists CEU and CPEU options by rate. Whether a credit counts toward your own certification renewal depends on your certifying body, so check with them before you rely on it. Our guide to wellness coach certification covers which credentials matter.
- Decide in person or virtual. Online passes (LM2026, LM2027, IFM's virtual option) are excellent for learning but weak for meeting people. If the goal is clients or referrals, pay for the room.
- Look at the exhibitor list. Exhibitors tell you who the organizer thinks is buying. A hall full of benefits vendors means HR buyers are attending.
If you are still building the business itself, read how to become a wellness coach and build a paid practice first. A conference is far more useful once you have a clear offer to talk about.
What does one in-person conference really cost?
Expect the full trip to cost two to three times the ticket. The table below is an example for a mid-size US conference, using the Weil Center's listed $695 fee and illustrative travel figures; replace each line with your own quotes.
| Line item | Example cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Coachful (follow-up page, booking, email for the leads you meet) | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Monthly membership; covers the follow-up after the event, not just the trip |
| Registration | $695 | Listed fee for the 2027 Integrative Medicine Conference in Tucson |
| Return flight | $350 (example) | Book early; prices vary by city |
| Hotel, 2 nights | $450 (example) | Conference block rates often sell out first |
| Meals not included | $120 (example) | Some events include lunches; check the page |
| Ground transport | $80 (example) | Airport transfers and ride shares |
| Printed cards with QR code | $40 (example) | One QR code pointing to your follow-up page |
| Event costs subtotal | $1,735 (example) | Before lost client hours while you travel |
The useful number is the break-even. Divide the subtotal by what one new client is worth to you over their first program. If one client covers the trip, a single good conversation justifies going; if you need five, choose a cheaper regional event or a virtual pass.
How do wellness coaches get clients from conferences?
The coaches who get clients from events plan the follow-up before they pack. Most contacts go cold within a week, so the work splits into before, during and after.
Before the event
- Build one follow-up page. A short page with who you help, one free resource and a booking button. This is where every QR code and business card points.
- Prepare a lead magnet tied to the event. For a workplace wellness summit, a one-page "employee energy audit"; for an integrative symposium, a "between-appointments habit plan" practitioners can hand to patients.
- Open a short booking type. A 20-minute "conference follow-up" call with intake questions, so people book while they still remember you.
- Read the attendee and exhibitor lists. Pick ten people or companies you want to meet and message them a week before.
During the event
- Ask more than you pitch. Learn what the person's program or practice is missing. Write one line about them on the back of their card or in your phone.
- Scan, don't swap. Let people scan your QR code so they land in your lead list with a source you can recognize later.
- Go to the smaller sessions. Breakouts and poster sessions are where conversations happen; keynotes are where people check their phones.
After the event
- Follow up within 48 hours. A personal email referencing your conversation, the resource you promised and one booking link.
- Run a short sequence. Three or four emails over two weeks for people who downloaded the resource but did not book.
- Track who booked. Count intake calls and new clients per event, so next year's choice is based on results, not on which conference felt exciting.
How do you set up a conference follow-up funnel in Coachful?
In Coachful, the follow-up page, lead magnet, booking link and email sequence live in one account, so a conference contact goes from QR scan to booked call without crossing tools. Here is the setup, in the order you would build it.

1. Create a lead-magnet funnel. Coachful's funnels cover booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout flows, with pixel and UTM tracking. Add a UTM tag such as the event name to the link behind your QR code, and you will know which conference each lead came from.

This short walkthrough shows how funnels are built in Coachful:
2. Point the QR code at a page on your own site. Coachful's section-based website builder includes 30 designed homepage templates, a blog and custom domains, so the page looks like your practice rather than a form. Wellness templates such as Sanctuary suit this audience.

3. Add a follow-up booking type. Booking pages support availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple and Outlook calendar sync. Add intake questions on booking ("What are you working on?" and "Where did we meet?"). Reminders go by email, plus SMS and WhatsApp once messaging is enabled. See Coachful scheduling for the full list.

4. Watch leads arrive. Everyone who downloads the resource lands in Prospects with the form or resource they came from, and booked calls appear on the Intakes page with conversion numbers.

5. Write the sequence. Email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits are included in your Coachful membership. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, can draft the emails from your notes; you edit and approve them.

6. Catch social follow-ups. Many attendees will find you on Instagram after the event. Coachful's Instagram automations can reply to a comment keyword with a DM containing your booking link or lead magnet, and the person lands in the same lead records.

Here is how the tools for this job compare when you add them up separately.
| Follow-up job | Inside Coachful | Typical separate tool |
|---|---|---|
| Coachful (all jobs below, one login) | Included in your Coachful membership (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients) | Replaces four to six tools |
| Follow-up page and lead magnet | Website builder and lead-magnet funnel | A separate website builder plus a landing page tool |
| Booking the first call | Booking pages with intake questions and reminders | A standalone scheduler such as Calendly |
| Email follow-up | Lists, broadcasts and sequences | An email platform such as Kit |
| Tracking which event worked | UTM tracking, Prospects and Intakes | Spreadsheets or a separate CRM |
| Signing and paying | Agreements with e-signature, Stripe or Razorpay payments | A contracts tool and an invoicing tool |
Once someone books, the rest of the client journey continues in the same account: a coaching agreement with e-signature before the first call, payments through your own Stripe or Razorpay account with a 0% Coachful platform fee, and programs with habits and check-ins in your branded client app. More on choosing tools in our CRM guide for wellness coaches and funnel builders for wellness coaches.

What is Coachful, and who is it for?
Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach gets one login and the client gets one branded app.
Who it suits: wellness coaches who deliver programs rather than single sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and coaches replacing four to six separate tools. See Coachful for health coaches for the niche view.
What it does not do: Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical records or insurance billing. It has no PayPal, no permanent free plan, and no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync. Coaching is not medical treatment either: if a conference contact describes symptoms, a diagnosis or medication questions, refer them to their doctor or a licensed clinician and keep your work to habits, goals and accountability.
How to start: begin a free trial, then request the build service below. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE" and describe what you need, such as a conference follow-up funnel, a website, an email sequence or a lead quiz. You can attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, like your logo, photos and copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours, and leaves gaps for you to fill instead of inventing credentials, testimonials or prices. One business mentor for beauty professionals, for example, got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management. Read more about the free white-glove service.

How do you get a speaking slot at a wellness conference?
Speaking turns a conference from a cost into a marketing channel, and the deadlines come early. LM2027's call for proposals closes November 20, 2026, ten months before the event, and IFM already has an open call for AIC 2027 main stage and breakout sessions.
- Pitch a result, not a biography. Committees choose sessions that give attendees something to use on Monday.
- Match the format. LM2027 asks for three-hour workshops or one-hour concurrent sessions. A workshop proposal needs an activity plan, not just slides.
- Bring evidence. Clinical and research audiences expect citations and outcome data. Use your own program data honestly, labeled as yours.
- Start smaller. Regional events, poster sessions and breakouts are easier to land than keynotes and build the track record committees look for.
Our conference speaker proposal template for coaches walks through the five parts committees score, with copyable wording.
Should you host your own virtual wellness event instead?
For many coaches, a free 45-minute online workshop brings more clients than a flight to a conference, because everyone in the room chose your topic. The best approach is often both: attend one event a year for referral partners, and host your own virtual event each quarter for clients.
In Coachful, you can run group calls and webinars, create video events for your community, and use the free webinar funnel to collect registrations and send reminders. After the event, attendees can join a community feed and group chat, and anyone who enrolls in a program is added to a cohort group automatically. See group coaching in Coachful and our comparison of webinar platforms for wellness coaches.

A simple format: a 30-minute teaching segment on one problem (say, afternoon energy crashes for desk workers), 10 minutes of questions, and a closing invitation to book a follow-up call. Pair it with the lead magnet you already built for conferences, and both channels feed the same lead list. For more channels, read platforms to get clients for wellness coaches.
What mistakes do coaches make at wellness conferences?
The common mistakes are choosing for prestige, arriving without a follow-up plan, and never measuring the result.
- Choosing a clinician event to sell. At medical conferences, coaches are guests learning beside clinicians. Build relationships; do not pitch patients or overstep scope.
- Collecting cards with nowhere to send people. Without a follow-up page and booking link ready, a stack of cards becomes a guilt pile.
- Waiting a week to follow up. Contacts forget the conversation. Send personal notes within 48 hours.
- Booking the ticket before checking the total. Flights and hotels often cost more than registration.
- Assuming credits transfer. CE credits listed by an organizer may not count toward your certification; confirm with your certifying body.
- Sitting in keynotes all day. The useful conversations happen in breakouts, at posters and in the exhibit hall.
- Not tracking leads by event. Without UTM tags or a source field, you cannot tell which conference paid off.
- Treating a corporate summit like a client event. HR leads buy programs for staff, not personal coaching. Bring a workplace offer; see platforms for corporate wellness coaches.
Frequently asked questions
What are the best wellness conferences in 2026 for coaches?
For most coaches: the 2027 Annual Wellness Summit for workplace buyers, the 2027 ACSM and ACE Health and Fitness Summit for health and fitness coaching skills, and the Integrative Healthcare Symposium for practitioner referrals. The rest of 2026 is short, so LM2026's online pass is the realistic option this month.
Are there virtual wellness conferences in 2026 and 2027?
Yes. LM2026 (November 8-11, 2026) and LM2027 (September 26-29, 2027) both list online attendance, and IFM's AIC 2027 page shows a virtual option. The Weil Center conference in Tucson says virtual and single-day tickets are not available.
Which wellness conference is cheapest?
Of the prices listed on November 6, 2026, Health and Wellbeing at Work in Birmingham was cheapest at £79 plus VAT for a standard ticket. In the US, the Wisconsin Employee Wellness Conference started at $495 and the Weil Center conference was $695.
Can health coaches earn continuing education credits at these events?
Some organizers list credits, such as LM2026's up to 49.25 CE credits and the Integrative Healthcare Symposium's CME, CNE and CPEU. Whether they count toward your credential depends on your certifying body, so check with them before you register.
Which conference is best for corporate wellness coaches?
The Annual Wellness Summit in San Diego (August 3-5, 2027) gathers workplace wellbeing leaders nationally, the Wisconsin Employee Wellness Conference serves the Midwest, and Health and Wellbeing at Work serves the UK. Bring a defined workplace program, pricing logic and a short case for HR.
How soon should I follow up with people I meet?
Within 48 hours, with a personal note, the resource you promised and one booking link. A short email sequence over the next two weeks catches people who downloaded the resource but did not book.
Can I use Coachful to follow up with conference leads?
Yes. You can build a lead-magnet funnel, a follow-up booking type with intake questions and an email sequence in one account, and leads appear in Prospects with their source. Plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a build service included on every plan: you describe what you need, such as a conference follow-up funnel or website, attach references, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design or ad management.
Is Coachful suitable for storing clinical notes from practitioners I meet?
No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so clinical records belong in a clinical system. Use Coachful for coaching work: goals, habits, check-ins and sessions.
Were these conference dates verified?
Each of the 15 events was checked on its official page on November 6, 2026, and dates and prices are as listed in November 2026. Organizers change venues and rates, so confirm on the official site before booking.
