Mighty Networks Review 2026: Pricing, Pros, Cons and Verdict

Mighty Networks Review 2026: Pricing, Pros, Cons and Verdict

This Mighty Networks review comes down to one finding: Mighty Networks is a strong community, course and live-event platform, but it is not a coaching back office. If you run a paid membership, a cohort course or a challenge-based group, it does that job well and gives members a polished mobile app. If you also coach people one to one, you will still need separate tools for booking, contracts, invoices and per-client habits and check-ins, and Mighty takes a platform fee of 0.5% to 2% on every sale on top of its subscription.

We make Coachful, a coaching platform that competes with Mighty Networks for some coaches, so read this with that in mind. Everything below about Mighty Networks comes from what the company documents on its pricing page and help docs (as listed in October 2026), our competitor profile from September 2026, and what public reviewers report. We have not run a paid Mighty network of our own, and we do not claim to have tested it hands-on.

Is Mighty Networks worth it? The short verdict

Mighty Networks is worth it for coaches whose business is the group: a membership, a cohort program or a community with live events. It is a weaker fit for coaches whose income depends on 1:1 sessions and between-session accountability.

Verdict at a glance

  • Who it suits: community-led coaches and facilitators running paid memberships, cohort courses, challenges and livestreamed events, who want unlimited members and a ready-made member app.
  • Who should skip it: 1:1 coaches who need availability-based booking, coaching agreements, invoices, intake and per-client progress tracking; budget-conscious solo coaches who would rather not pay a percentage of revenue; anyone who needs funnels and a full website.
  • Public rating: Trustpilot 3.3 out of 5 from 219 reviews, seen on October 25, 2026. Our September 2026 profile also recorded G2 at 4.6 from 617 reviews and Capterra at 4.6 from 89 reviews.
  • Price: from $79 a month billed annually ($950 a year) or $95 billed monthly on Launch, with a 2% Mighty fee on sales. A 14-day free trial needs no credit card.
  • Our pick for most coaches: Coachful, if you want one login for booking, payments, contracts, programs, habits and community. Mighty Networks, if the community itself is the product.

What is Mighty Networks?

Mighty Networks is a hosted platform for building a branded community with courses, events and paid memberships, delivered on the web and in Mighty's own iOS and Android apps. Its pitch is a community, courses, events and memberships under your own brand, with an app for members.

The company was founded in 2017 by Gina Bianchini, previously a co-founder of Ning, and is based in Palo Alto, California. A host creates a "network", organises it into spaces (feeds, courses, events, chats) and invites members, who can join free or pay through Stripe. Hosts and moderators run the network; the number of host and moderator seats depends on the plan.

The important thing for coaches to understand is the shape of the product. In Mighty Networks the network is the client portal. Everything happens inside spaces that groups of members share. There is no client record with private goals, session notes, signed agreements and payment history for one person, and there is no calendar where a client picks a 1:1 slot from your availability. Our September 2026 research profile of Mighty Networks lists scheduling, invoicing, contracts, SMS and funnels as features it does not offer.

If you have already read our Mighty Networks pricing breakdown, the rest of this review focuses on what the product does by job, and what reviewers say about living with it.

What can Mighty Networks do for each part of a coaching business?

Mighty Networks covers community, courses and live events well, covers selling adequately, and leaves marketing, 1:1 delivery and admin mostly to other tools. Here is the picture job by job.

Marketing: landing pages, not a website or funnels

Mighty Networks gives your network a landing page and, from the Launch plan, a custom domain. That is enough for a community that sells itself through your existing audience. It is not a general website builder, and our September 2026 profile records no funnel builder. Member emails and digests are built in, and white-label email is an option on the Growth plan. For newsletters and sequences, most hosts connect an email tool; Scale adds Kit and Zapier integrations, plus affiliate integrations.

Honest note: if you rely on lead magnets, application funnels or a blog for search traffic, budget for a separate website and email platform alongside Mighty.

Selling: Stripe memberships with a percentage on top

Payments run through Stripe, with memberships priced in hundreds of local currencies. You can sell paid spaces, courses and bundles, with trials and discounts. Mighty adds a platform fee on every sale: 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, before Stripe's own processing. Our September 2026 profile also notes that Mighty's transaction fees are not refunded when you refund a member, and that refunds are managed by the host.

There is no invoicing in the sense a coach usually needs: no manual invoice for a corporate client, no per-session billing tied to a booking. If you sell 1:1 packages, you will want a separate checkout or invoicing tool.

Delivery: courses, Challenges and livestreams

This is where Mighty Networks earns its place. Courses can be self-paced or run as cohorts, and Challenges encourage members to show up daily as a group. Events support RSVPs and add-to-calendar, and native livestreaming means you can run a live session without Zoom. Livestream hours and attendee caps rise with the plan: 20 hours a month for up to 100 attendees on Launch, 30 hours and 200 attendees on Scale, and 40 hours and 1,000 attendees on Growth. Extra viewers up to 10,000 are an add-on, with the price not shown on the pricing page.

Honest note: Challenges are a group engagement feature, not a per-client habit tracker. You cannot give one client a private plan with their own daily tasks and morning and evening check-ins, then see who is slipping. Our profile also lists 1:1 booking as absent: events are scheduled group sessions, and there is no two-way calendar sync.

Client experience: a good app, under Mighty's name

Every plan includes the Mighty Networks member apps for iOS and Android, so members can join, post, watch and attend from their phones. That is a real advantage over community tools that are web-only. The catch is branding: on Launch, Scale and Growth your members use the Mighty app. Your own branded apps in the App Store and Google Play come only with Mighty Pro, which is custom-priced.

Reviewers have long described navigation as confusing for new members, although our profile notes that Mighty's 2024 to 2025 redesign was meant to address this.

Admin: seats, tags and automations, but no client file

Launch includes 3 hosts and 10 moderators, Scale 5 hosts and 15 moderators, and Growth 10 hosts and 100 moderators. Automations are basic on Launch, expanded on Scale and include AI automations on Growth. Scale adds APIs and MCP access for teams that want to connect Mighty to other systems. Every plan includes Mighty's AI features, listed as AI Cohost and People Magic, which our profile describes as a writing assistant and AI conversation starters.

Data portability is limited. Member lists can be exported with member tags according to Mighty's plan docs, but our September 2026 profile records that posts and content are not bulk-exportable. Plan to keep your own copies of course material.

How much does Mighty Networks cost in 2026?

Mighty Networks costs $79 to $354 a month on annual billing for its self-serve plans, or $95 to $215 a month billed monthly where that price is published, plus a 0.5% to 2% fee on sales. Mighty Pro, with branded apps, is quoted individually.

One detail trips people up: the plan cards on the pricing page show $79, $179 and $354 "per month" without saying they are annual-billing prices. Mighty's help docs confirm that they are, and give monthly-billed prices of $95 for Launch and $215 for Scale. A monthly-billed price for Growth is not published.

All prices are as listed in October 2026 in US dollars. There is no free plan. The trial lasts 14 days, needs no credit card and includes Growth plan features, so check which features you are testing before you pick a cheaper plan. Engagement Boost (extra storage, livestream and capacity) and extra livestream viewers are add-ons with prices not shown on the pricing page.

Our September 2026 profile also notes, from Mighty's terms, that annual subscriptions auto-renew and there is no pro-rata refund. If you are trying it, put the renewal date in your calendar.

What does the platform fee add up to? A worked example

Here is an illustrative example, not real customer data. Say a coach sells a group membership that brings in $40,000 in a year.

  • On Launch (annual): $950 subscription plus 2% of $40,000, which is $800. Total: $1,750 a year before Stripe processing.
  • On Scale (annual): $179 × 12 = $2,148 subscription plus 1% of $40,000, which is $400. Total: $2,548 a year before Stripe processing.

Scale costs $1,198 more a year in subscription and saves 1% of sales, so it only pays for itself on fees once you pass about $119,800 in annual sales. The case for Scale is usually the extra seats, integrations and member export, not fee savings.

Then add the tools Mighty does not replace. A 1:1 coach on Mighty typically also pays for a scheduler such as Calendly, an e-signature tool for agreements, an email platform such as Kit and possibly Zapier to connect them. Each of those has its own subscription. For a full walk-through of these totals, see our Mighty Networks pricing guide.

What do public reviewers praise and complain about?

Public reviewers praise Mighty's support, live training and native community features, and complain most about billing: auto-renewals, cancellation and fees. The ratings split sharply by site.

On Trustpilot, where the recurring complaints centre on billing, Mighty Networks scored 3.3 from 219 reviews when we checked on October 25, 2026. On software review sites, which skew toward active hosts, our September 2026 profile recorded G2 at 4.6 from 617 reviews and Capterra at 4.6 from 89. Those two numbers describe different experiences, and both are worth reading before you commit.

We summarise the recurring themes below in our own words. We are not quoting individual reviewers.

What reviewers praise

  • Support and training. Trustpilot reviewers repeatedly describe fast, invested support and mention Mighty's frequent live training sessions for hosts.
  • Everything for a community in one place. Native livestreaming, events, cohort courses and Challenges run without a separate Zoom or course tool.
  • Unlimited members and multiple hosts. Member count does not change the subscription price, and every plan includes several host seats.
  • The mobile app. Members get a working app on every plan, which matters for engagement in a community.

What reviewers complain about

  • Auto-renewals and cancellation. The most common Trustpilot complaint in our profile is unexpected renewals and difficulty cancelling, with some reviewers reporting cancellation requests that went unresolved. Cancel well before your renewal date.
  • Bugs in chat and notifications. Reviewers mention buggy chat and notification links.
  • Confusing navigation for new members. A long-standing complaint, which Mighty's redesign aimed to fix.
  • Upsells. The platform fee on every sale, white-label email on higher plans and branded apps only on custom-priced Mighty Pro.
  • Thin integrations. Reviewers have described the Zapier integration as limited.

Mighty Networks pros and cons

The strongest reasons to choose Mighty Networks are its community depth and the member app; the strongest reasons to avoid it are the missing 1:1 tools and the fee on every sale.

What does running a coaching practice on Mighty Networks look like?

In practice, a coach on Mighty Networks runs the group inside Mighty and the individual client relationship somewhere else. Picture a career coach who sells a six-week cohort and offers 1:1 sessions to graduates.

  1. Marketing: a separate website and email tool collect leads, because Mighty has no funnels. The coach links to the network's landing page.
  2. Selling: the cohort sells inside Mighty through Stripe, with a 2% fee on Launch. The 1:1 packages sell through a different checkout or invoicing tool.
  3. Agreements: coaching agreements go out through an e-signature tool, because Mighty has none.
  4. Delivery: cohort lessons, livestreams and discussion happen in Mighty. 1:1 sessions are booked through a scheduler and held on Zoom.
  5. Between sessions: homework and accountability live in shared documents, email or a spreadsheet, because Mighty has no per-client task or check-in system.

That can work, and many coaches run exactly this stack. The cost is the context switching and the separate subscriptions. Our guides to running coaching cohorts without Mighty Networks and hosting client masterminds without Mighty Networks show the same workflows in a single platform.

Who is Mighty Networks best for, and who should skip it?

Mighty Networks is best for coaches whose product is a community or cohort, and should be skipped by coaches whose product is a 1:1 relationship.

Mighty Networks fits well if you:

  • Run a paid membership or community where members talk to each other as much as to you.
  • Deliver cohort courses and challenges with regular livestreams.
  • Want unlimited members without the price climbing as you grow.
  • Have several hosts and moderators running the space.
  • Expect, eventually, to pay for your own branded app through Mighty Pro.

Skip it, or pair it with other tools, if you:

  • Coach mostly one to one and need booking, reminders, intake questions and session notes.
  • Send coaching agreements and invoices, or bill corporate clients.
  • Track client habits, daily tasks and check-ins between sessions.
  • Need a full website, funnels and email sequences in the same tool.
  • Would rather not give a percentage of every sale to the platform.

A note for health and wellness coaches: Mighty Networks lists no HIPAA support in our research, Coachful does not offer a BAA, and neither is built for clinical records. Coaching is not medical or mental health treatment. If a client describes symptoms, a diagnosis or a crisis, refer them to a licensed clinician and keep your work within a coaching scope.

What are the best Mighty Networks alternatives for coaches?

For coaches, the best Mighty Networks alternative is Coachful, followed by Circle for a pure community, Skool for a low-cost gamified group and Kajabi for course-led businesses. We ranked them on four things: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost, and setup effort, including Coachful's free white-glove build.

1. Coachful: one platform for 1:1, group and community

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. Coaches get one login; clients get one branded app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing four to six tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and is rated 4.5 on Trustpilot from 21 reviews.

Where Mighty Networks stops at the group, Coachful carries on to the individual client. The community has a feed, group chat, direct messages and video events, and cohort groups are created automatically when someone enrolls in a program. Alongside that, each client has a record with goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, plus a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk so you can see who needs attention.

Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time zones, with two-way Google, Apple and Outlook calendar sync and built-in video or automatic Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with no Coachful platform fee (0% since August 2026), and coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call. Between sessions, programs run week by week with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, progress bars and streaks. This is the part Mighty Networks does not attempt. The short walkthrough below shows how a program is built and delivered.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, a coach can choose "We'll build it for you" and describe what they want: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence, form, lead quiz, webinar and more. You can attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as logos, photos and brand guides. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours, and does not invent credentials, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill. One recent example: a somatic coach leaving Kajabi had their homepage and About page rebuilt and their contact form connected. Another: a real-estate and money coach got a year-long cohort program with an application form, an eight-page site and a free nine-day bootcamp funnel. The service does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more about the free white-glove service.

What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical records or insurance billing. It has no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not in your own App Store account. It is not a course marketplace, and its affiliate tracking records payouts manually rather than sending them.

How to start. Start a free trial, import or let the team import your clients, programs and content during onboarding, and request a white-glove build for anything you would rather not set up yourself. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients. Our full Coachful review covers its limits in more depth, and Coachful vs Mighty Networks for coaching communities compares the two community experiences directly.

Pick Mighty Networks over Coachful if your business is a large community where members mostly interact with each other, you need livestreams for hundreds of attendees, or you want your own branded app in the stores through Mighty Pro.

2. Circle: the closest like-for-like community platform

Circle homepage with its headline and product preview
Circle's homepage in October 2026.

Circle is a community platform with courses, events, live streams and paid memberships, and the most direct substitute for Mighty Networks. Plans as listed in October 2026 start at $89 a month billed annually (Professional), then $199 (Business) and $419 (Scale), with Circle Plus custom-priced. Circle's fee on payments is 2% on Professional, 1% on Business and Scale and 0.5% on Circle Plus, plus Stripe processing. The 14-day trial needs no credit card. Circle was rated 4.1 on Trustpilot from 129 reviews on October 25, 2026.

Like Mighty, Circle has no 1:1 scheduling, no client back office and no per-client habits or check-ins, and branded apps are only on Circle Plus. See our Circle review.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a pure community product on the web and you already run 1:1 coaching through other tools.

3. Skool: a cheap, gamified group

Skool homepage with its community discovery layout
Skool's homepage in October 2026.

Skool combines a community, a classroom and a calendar in one group, with leaderboards that reward participation. The Hobby plan is $9 a month ($7.50 billed annually) but takes 10% + 30¢ on every transaction; Pro is $99 a month ($82.50 billed annually) with 2.9% + 30¢ on transactions up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900. Payments go only through Skool Payments. Skool has no custom-domain website, funnels, email automation or public API, and no 1:1 client records. It was rated 1.6 on Trustpilot from 54 reviews on October 25, 2026. Our Skool review goes further.

Pick it over Coachful if you want the lowest possible monthly price for a simple paid group and you value the gamified leaderboard more than 1:1 tools.

4. Kajabi: course-led businesses

Kajabi homepage with its headline and product imagery
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

Kajabi is a course, community, website, funnel and email platform for selling knowledge products. Basic is $179 a month ($143 billed annually) with 5 products and 2,500 contacts; Growth is $249 ($199 annually); Pro is $499 ($399 annually). With Kajabi Payments in the US, processing is 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, falling to 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. Using another processor adds a Kajabi fee of 0.5% to 2%. Kajabi was rated 3.4 on Trustpilot from 2,347 reviews on October 25, 2026. It covers the marketing Mighty lacks, but coaching is sold as products and communities, with no habit tracking or per-client daily check-ins.

Pick it over Coachful if your business is mainly courses and digital products sold through funnels, and 1:1 coaching is a small add-on.

Our verdict on Mighty Networks

Mighty Networks is a good community platform with a real member app, strong live features and support that reviewers often praise. It is an incomplete coaching platform. If your income comes from a membership or cohort, it is a reasonable choice, provided you accept the 0.5% to 2% fee, watch the annual renewal date and keep copies of your content.

If you coach individuals as well as groups, Mighty Networks leaves you assembling a stack: a scheduler, an e-signature tool, an invoicing tool, an email platform and somewhere to track habits and check-ins. That is the gap Coachful fills, with community included and no platform fee on your sales. Compare more options on our reviews page or see group coaching software.

Frequently asked questions

Is Mighty Networks good for coaches?

Mighty Networks is good for coaches who sell a community, cohort course or membership. It is not built for 1:1 coaching, because it has no availability-based booking, invoices, contracts or per-client habits and check-ins. Many coaches pair it with a scheduler and other tools, or choose an all-in-one coaching platform instead.

How much does Mighty Networks cost?

As listed in October 2026, Launch is $95 a month billed monthly or $79 a month billed annually ($950 a year), Scale is $215 monthly or $179 a month annually, and Growth is $354 a month billed annually. Mighty Pro is custom-priced. Mighty also takes 2%, 1% or 0.5% of sales depending on the plan.

Does Mighty Networks have a free plan or free trial?

There is no free plan. Mighty Networks offers a 14-day free trial that does not require a credit card and includes Growth plan features, so check which features you rely on before choosing a cheaper plan.

Does Mighty Networks take a cut of sales?

Yes. Mighty's platform fee is 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, on top of Stripe processing. Our September 2026 research also found that these fees are not refunded when you refund a member.

Can I have my own branded app on Mighty Networks?

Only on Mighty Pro, which is custom-priced. On Launch, Scale and Growth, members use Mighty's own iOS and Android apps with your network inside them.

Why is the Mighty Networks Trustpilot rating lower than G2 and Capterra?

Trustpilot showed 3.3 from 219 reviews on October 25, 2026, while our September 2026 profile recorded 4.6 on both G2 and Capterra. Trustpilot reviews lean toward billing and cancellation problems, while software review sites tend to reflect active hosts' views of the features and support.

Can Mighty Networks book 1:1 coaching sessions?

No. Mighty Networks schedules group events with RSVPs and add-to-calendar, but it has no availability-based 1:1 booking or two-way calendar sync. Coaches usually add a separate scheduler for individual sessions.

What is the best Mighty Networks alternative for coaches?

For most coaches, Coachful, because it combines community with booking, payments, contracts, programs, habits and check-ins under one login and takes no platform fee on sales. Circle is the closest pure-community alternative, Skool the cheapest group option, and Kajabi the stronger choice for course-led businesses.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a build service included on every Coachful plan. You describe what you want built, such as a website, funnel, program or email sequence, attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing.

Can I export my data from Mighty Networks?

You can export your member list with member tags, according to Mighty's plan docs. Our September 2026 profile found that posts and content are not bulk-exportable, so keep your own copies of course material and important posts.
