Top 12 Paperbell Alternatives With Courses, Ranked

Top 12 Paperbell Alternatives With Courses, Ranked

The best Paperbell alternatives with courses are the platforms that let one client buy a self-paced course, book 1:1 sessions on top, and find both in the same login. Paperbell handles packages, booking, payments and contracts for one flat price, and its pricing page now lists online classes and digital downloads. What it has not offered, according to our older profile of it, is a full course builder, a community or habit tracking. If your offer is "course plus coaching", that gap decides which tool you need next.

Our pick is Coachful, because courses, multi-week programs, 1:1 booking, contracts, community and a branded client app sit in one subscription. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and check every claim below against what each vendor documents. The other eleven tools here each solve part of the problem well, and a few of them are better than Coachful for specific setups. Each section says when.

This guide is written for coaches who already sell 1:1 packages and want to add a course, a cohort or a library beside them. If you want the general comparison first, read our Paperbell alternatives roundup; this one stays on the course question.

What does a course-plus-coaching client journey need at each stage?

A coach who sells courses beside 1:1 packages needs software that covers four stages: attract, enroll, deliver and retain. Paperbell is strongest in the middle two for 1:1 work. Courses stretch every stage, because a course buyer arrives differently, pays differently and needs something to do between calls.

Attract. Course buyers usually come through a lead magnet, a webinar or a free mini-lesson rather than a discovery call. You need landing pages, an opt-in form, an email sequence that warms people up, and tracking so you know which page sold. Paperbell includes a coaching website and email workflows; a course business usually wants funnel pages and sequences with branching on top.

Enroll. Here the course changes the checkout. You may sell the course alone, a course plus three calls, or a payment plan for a 12-week program with an order bump for a workbook. The 1:1 side still needs booking with availability rules, an agreement signed before the first call, and intake questions. The best setups let one checkout grant course access, session credits and the agreement together.

Deliver. This is where most tools split. Course platforms deliver modules, lessons, drip schedules and completion tracking but treat 1:1 sessions as an add-on. Coaching tools deliver sessions, notes and programs but treat courses as file folders. The client experience you want is one home where lesson four, next Tuesday's call and this week's habits sit together.

Retain. Courses end, so retention depends on what comes after: a community, a monthly membership, a follow-on program, or check-ins that keep a client active between sessions. A tool that only tracks "course completed" cannot tell you which client is drifting before they stop renewing.

For more on structuring the offer itself, see how to package coaching with digital courses and how to run coaching programs with digital courses.

Build your platform

How did we choose and rank these twelve?

We started from what a coach with a course and 1:1 packages actually has to run each week, then checked which tools cover it without a second subscription. Vendor prices come from each pricing page as listed in October 2026; Kajabi, Podia and Teachable were checked on 27 October 2026. Details marked "older profile" come from our September 2026 research and may have changed. We did not run paid trials; we report what vendors document and what public reviewers say.

Two groups emerged. Course-first platforms (Kajabi, Podia, Teachable) are strong at lessons and marketing but thin on agreements, session notes and between-session accountability. Coaching-first tools (CoachVantage, Delenta, CoachAccountable, Practice Better, Simply.Coach, Satori) are strong on sessions but limit or omit courses, and they sit in the lower half because they replace Paperbell without adding much course depth. Coachful ranks first because it sits in both groups. Quenza ranks last only because it cannot take payments yet, which matters when you sell a course.

1. Coachful: courses, programs and 1:1 sessions in one client app

A laptop showing a client's Discover page of course and coaching bundles beside a tablet showing an enrolled program
Coachful's client Discover page with demo bundles on a laptop, and the client Programs view on a tablet beside a stack of workbooks.

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login and the client has one branded app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than single sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and coaches replacing four to six tools. It is not HIPAA-certified, has no PayPal and no permanent free plan, and the client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding rather than under your own App Store account. To start, take a free trial and ask the team to build your setup for you at no charge.

Courses that sit next to the coaching. The course builder handles modules, lessons, drip release and completion tracking. Alongside courses you can publish downloads, videos, books, AI tools and events, and group them into bundles. Everything lands in the client's branded home and app, so a client who bought your course sees lesson three on the same screen as their next 1:1 call. If you want a head start, there are 48 course templates with quizzes and more than 40 ready-to-film program templates.

Programs for what happens between lessons. A course teaches; a program makes people do the work. Coachful's multi-week programs carry weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. When a client enrolls in a group program, a cohort group is created automatically in the community. On the client record you see goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, payments and sessions, plus a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. That status is what a course platform cannot give you: a signal that someone stopped doing the lessons before they ask for a refund.

1:1 packages, booked and paid properly. Booking pages support availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync. Calls run on built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. You can sell paid sessions or session credits, ask intake questions at booking, and send a coaching agreement for e-signature before the first call. Reminders go by email, plus SMS 24 hours and WhatsApp one hour before, once messaging is enabled. The walkthrough below shows how programs are built and delivered:

Selling the course and the coaching together. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with Stripe Tax. Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Funnels cover booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout flows with pixels and UTM tracking, and email sequences support triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits. That covers the attract stage most course coaches currently pay for separately.

Help with the build. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data. She can draft a program or course outline, write emails, summarize recorded sessions and brief you before calls. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. You can also set up an AI Coach, an AI version of you that selected clients chat with between sessions.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want, and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, photos, brand guide or existing copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. For a course coach that can mean the course outline and written lesson material, a sales page, a lead-magnet funnel and the email sequence behind it. Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill. It does not include recording your videos, logo design or ad management. One recent build: a business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. Read more about the free white-glove service.

Where it stops. Coachful is not a course marketplace, so it will not send you buyers the way a directory might. It is not a general website builder for non-coaching sites, has no third-party plugins, and has no Salesforce or HubSpot integration. The affiliate program tracks links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but you record payouts yourself.

Price. Flat monthly plans; lower plans cap the number of clients and Pro is unlimited. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients. Monthly plans cancel in one click. See the full course platform for coaches page or the Coachful vs Paperbell comparison.

2. Kajabi: the course and marketing engine with coaching attached

Kajabi is the most complete course-first option here, and the most expensive at entry. Its pricing page lists courses, coaching, communities, digital downloads, memberships, podcasts, newsletters, a website builder, funnels and automations, all under one account.

For a coach adding a course to 1:1 work, Kajabi's appeal is marketing depth. Funnels, landing pages and marketing emails are unlimited on every plan, and the feature comparison lists courses, cohorts and the Kajabi Customer App. A branded mobile app (listed as a $199/mo value) also appears there, and Kajabi's own FAQ points anyone who wants their own App Store app to Pro.

As listed on 27 October 2026, Basic costs $179/mo, or $143/mo billed annually, with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 website, 1 community and 2 admin users. Growth is $249/mo ($199 annually) with 50 products and 25,000 contacts. Pro is $499/mo ($399 annually) with unlimited products, 100,000 contacts and 3 websites. Kajabi takes no revenue share; Kajabi Payments card fees on US entities run from 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic to 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro, and using a third-party processor where Kajabi Payments is available adds 2%, 1% or 0.5% by plan. Every plan has a 30-day money-back guarantee, and the page offers a free trial.

The limits matter for coaches. Five products on Basic disappears fast if each 1:1 package, course and bundle counts as one. The pricing page does not list e-signed coaching agreements, habit tracking or per-client check-ins, so the accountability layer of a coaching program has to be built from course lessons and community posts. Session notes and a client record built around coaching outcomes are not what Kajabi is designed for.

Pick it over Coachful if courses are the main business and 1:1 coaching is a premium add-on for a few buyers, you want large-scale email and an ad network, and the entry price fits your revenue.

3. Podia: a calmer all-in-one for courses, downloads and booked calls

Podia suits a coach who wants courses, a community and booked coaching calls without Kajabi's price. Its pricing page lists online courses with drip lessons, quizzes and certificates, digital downloads, coaching where clients book and pay, community spaces with group chats and DMs, events, a website and blog, and email marketing.

Prices are shown billed yearly as of 27 October 2026: Mover at $42/mo ($504 a year) with a 5% transaction fee, 50 products and up to 100 email subscribers; Shaker at $84/mo ($1,008 a year) with no Podia fees, 150 products and up to 500 subscribers; Earthquaker at $150/mo ($1,800 a year) with unlimited products and up to 1,000 subscribers. The monthly-billing price was not shown in the page text we checked. Stripe or PayPal processing applies on top. There is a 14-day free trial with no card, and Podia offers migration help for up to 50 or 150 products depending on plan.

For the course-plus-coaching niche, Podia's coaching product is built around booking and paying for calls. The pricing page does not list coaching agreements, session notes, habit tracking or check-ins, and its email allowance is small on lower plans, so a coach running a lead magnet into a course launch may need to buy extra subscribers. The 5% fee on Mover is worth calculating against Shaker once course sales pass a few hundred dollars a month.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell mostly downloads and short courses with occasional paid calls, you want PayPal at checkout, and you do not need program accountability between sessions.

4. Teachable: course depth first, coaching as one product type

Teachable is a long-running course platform that now lists coaching beside online courses, digital downloads and memberships. Its strengths for this niche are lesson tooling and student apps.

On the pricing page checked 27 October 2026, Starter costs $39/mo ($29 billed annually) for 5 products with a 7.5% transaction fee. Builder costs $89/mo ($69 annually) for 10 products with 0% transaction fee, an affiliate program and real-time support. Growth costs $189/mo ($139 annually) for 50 products and adds certificates, branding removal and imported students. Every plan lists AI creation tools, iOS and Android student apps, global payments and taxes, upsells and cart recovery, with a 7-day free trial and a 30-day guarantee.

What you get for a course coach: drip content, auto-graded quizzes, short-answer assessments, lesson comments, coupons, order bumps, bundles and built-in email. What you will not find on the pricing page: e-signed coaching agreements, intake forms tied to a booking calendar, habit tracking or a community feed. The 7.5% fee on Starter makes Builder the realistic entry point for anyone selling a course of a few hundred dollars. For more on teaching without it, see delivering online courses without Teachable.

Pick it over Coachful if your courses need graded assessments and certificates, your students expect a dedicated course app, and coaching is a small paid extra.

5. Coaches Console: an older coaching system that unlocks courses at the top tier

Coaches Console homepage introducing its coach business system
Coaches Console's homepage in October 2026.

Coaches Console is one of the longest-running coach business systems. It bundles a CRM, calendar, website, client portal, email and invoicing, and its higher plan adds courses. That makes it one of the few coaching-first tools in this list where courses and 1:1 clients genuinely share one system.

As listed in October 2026, the Core Console System costs $197/mo ($166.42/mo billed annually) for a single coach account, with client limits not specified. The Total Console System, which includes unlimited products and courses, costs $297/mo ($249.75/mo annually). There is no free trial; billing details are required at signup, with a 100% money-back guarantee in the first 30 days.

For a coach adding a course, that means the course feature sits behind the $297 tier, the highest entry price for courses among the coaching-first tools here. Reviewers in our older profile describe the interface as dated. We found no documented habit tracking, check-ins or community, so the course and the coaching share a portal but not an accountability layer.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a long-established vendor with a CRM-centred workflow, you are comfortable with its interface, and the Total plan fits your budget.

6. CoachVantage: a practice manager with a small course allowance

CoachVantage homepage introducing its coaching practice management software
CoachVantage's homepage in October 2026.

CoachVantage gives solo coaches a CRM, scheduling, contracts with e-signature, invoices, a client portal, group programs and a small number of courses. Pricing is per coach with unlimited contacts, which is friendlier than per-client billing once your course buyers become clients.

As listed in October 2026, Clarity costs $39/mo ($35 annually) with unlimited contacts and engagements but caps at 2 group programs, 2 sales pages, 2 booking pages, 4 e-signatures a month, 2 contract templates, 2 courses and 500 MB. Aha! costs $59/mo ($53 annually) with unlimited group programs including cohorts, sales pages, booking pages and e-signatures, but still only 5 contract templates, 5 courses and 1 GB. There is a 14-day trial with no card, and CoachVantage says it takes no commission on revenue; Stripe or PayPal fees apply.

The 1 GB storage ceiling is the catch for course creators. A few hours of lesson video can fill it, so many coaches would host video elsewhere and embed it. Our older profile also notes no team features and reports that the built-in CVMeet video is weak, so many users still run Zoom.

Pick it over Coachful if your "course" is a handful of short text-and-worksheet modules, contracts and invoicing matter more than funnels, and per-coach pricing with unlimited contacts suits you.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

Build your platform

7. Delenta: courses only when you reach Premium

Delenta homepage introducing its coaching practice platform
Delenta's homepage in October 2026.

Delenta is a coaching practice platform with CRM, scheduling, contracts, client portals and group coaching. Its course creator exists, but only on the top solo plan, so read the tiers carefully.

As listed in October 2026: Starter $29/mo ($19.08 annually) with 10 client portals and 1 GB; Pro $49/mo ($39.08 annually) with 40 client portals, 5 GB and up to 6 calendars; Premium $79/mo ($58.25 annually) with unlimited portals and 100 GB. The course creator and the mobile app are Premium-only. Teams pricing is per seat with no amount shown. The trial page conflicts with itself, saying 14 days in the headline and 7 days in the FAQ; no card is required. Delenta says it charges no additional transaction fees beyond Stripe or PayPal.

So for this niche the realistic Delenta price is Premium at $79/mo regardless of client count, and 100 GB of storage on that plan is generous for video lessons. Delenta has a Trustpilot score of 4.1 from 5 reviews (seen 25 October 2026), too few to read much into. Our earlier Delenta alternatives guide covers its trade-offs in more detail.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a coaching-first tool with lots of video storage and the Premium plan's mobile app, and you do not need funnels or email sequences inside it.

8. CoachAccountable: deep accountability, courses included, billed per client

CoachAccountable homepage introducing its coaching back office
CoachAccountable's homepage in October 2026.

CoachAccountable is a coaching back office built around sessions, action plans, metrics, worksheets, courses, invoicing and agreements. Of the coaching-first tools, it has one of the most developed between-session layers, and courses are part of every plan.

Billing is the issue for course coaches. As listed in October 2026, pricing runs by active client: Starter $20/mo for 2, Level 1 $40/mo for 5, Level 2 $70/mo for 10, Level 3 $120/mo for 20, Level 4 $250/mo for 50 and Level 5 $400/mo for 100. A cohort of 30 course buyers, each counted as an active client, pushes you to Level 4. There is a 30-day trial with no card and no limits. CoachAccountable holds a Trustpilot score of 4.8 from 47 reviews (seen 25 October 2026).

Our older profile notes no native mobile app, no landing pages, website or marketing automation, and that CoachAccountable states it is not HIPAA compliant. You would pair it with a separate site and email tool to attract course buyers.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a small, high-ticket 1:1 roster where detailed action plans and metrics matter most, and the course is a bonus for those few clients rather than a separate product.

9. Practice Better: built for wellness practitioners who also run programs

Practice Better homepage introducing its practice management platform
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Practice Better is practice management for wellness and nutrition practitioners: scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing, programs and a client portal. If your coaching sits close to nutrition or wellness, its charting is a reason to look. For other niches it is more clinical than a course coach needs.

As listed in October 2026: Sprout is $0/mo for 3 clients and 100 MB; Starter $35/mo ($25 annually) for 10 clients; Professional $69/mo ($59 annually) for 300 clients; Plus $99/mo ($89 annually) for unlimited clients; Team $155/mo ($145 annually) for 2 practitioners. Trials run 14 days on paid plans and 30 days on Team. Practice Better Payments runs on Stripe. It holds a Trustpilot score of 3.8 from 87 reviews (seen 25 October 2026).

The course detail that matters: evergreen programs, the closest thing to an always-open self-paced course, start on Plus at $99/mo, along with portal branding, a custom URL and SMS. Our older profile found no website builder or funnel pages. For a side-by-side with the incumbent, see Paperbell vs Practice Better.

Pick it over Coachful if you need practitioner charting and telehealth for wellness work and your programs are part of a practice rather than a course business.

10. Simply.Coach: programs and contracts with tight tier caps

Simply.Coach homepage introducing its coaching practice platform
Simply.Coach's homepage in October 2026.

Simply.Coach is a coaching practice platform covering contracts, programs, sessions, booking pages and a client portal, with business and enterprise tiers for coaching firms. It suits structured engagement work more than self-paced course sales.

As listed in October 2026: Starter $9/mo for 3 active coachees, 1 contract and 1 program; Essentials $29/mo ($24.17 annually) for 7 coachees and 3 programs; Growth $49/mo for 30 coachees and 10 programs; Leap $69/mo for unlimited coachees, contracts and programs. Business tiers CoCreate ($79/mo) and Surge ($159/mo) are per active coach. There is a 14-day trial with no card, no refunds for mid-period cancellations, and automated invoices were marked "Coming Soon" on the solo pricing page.

The packet we work from does not document a course builder with lessons and drip, so treat Simply.Coach programs as structured coaching engagements rather than courses. Caps on contracts and programs below Leap mean a coach selling a course plus three 1:1 packages already needs Growth.

Pick it over Coachful if you coach inside organisations, need sponsor and program manager roles on the business tiers, and do not sell self-paced courses to the public.

11. Satori: a tidy Paperbell-style tool without courses

Satori homepage introducing its coaching practice tool
Satori's homepage in October 2026.

Satori covers scheduling, a client portal, packages and programs, invoices and contracts. Of everything here, it is the closest to a like-for-like Paperbell swap, and that is also its limit for this niche: our older profile found no courses, landing pages or community.

As listed in October 2026: Scholar is free for coaches studying for a certification (unlimited pro bono clients, apply by form); Essentials $33/mo ($27.50 annually) for up to 10 active paying clients; Pro $49/mo ($40.83 annually) for 50 active clients per our older profile; Leader $124/mo ($103.33 annually) for 150. Only active clients count. The trial is 15 days with no card during the trial, and Satori refunds if asked within 30 days of signing up. It charges nothing on client payments beyond PayPal and Stripe fees.

Our older profile also notes no native mobile app and no native Zoom integration. To sell a course with Satori you would add a separate course platform, so treat it as the 1:1 half of an assembled stack.

Pick it over Coachful if you only want to replace Paperbell's 1:1 admin at a lower price, you are a student coach eligible for Scholar, and your course lives elsewhere.

12. Quenza: engaging activities, but no checkout yet

Quenza homepage introducing its client engagement app for coaches
Quenza's homepage in October 2026.

Quenza is a client-engagement tool for coaches and therapists: activities, worksheets, programs, chat and a client app. Its exercises are a good fit for the "do the work between lessons" part of a course, which is why it is here at all.

As listed in October 2026: Spark $25/mo ($20 annually) for 10 clients; Growth $50/mo ($40 annually) for 250; Impact $125/mo ($100 annually) for 400; Collective $160/mo ($128 annually) for up to 3 professionals and 500 clients. There is a 30-day trial with no card. Quenza holds a Trustpilot score of 4.3 from 8 reviews (seen 25 October 2026).

The blocker is payments: invoicing and digital products are marked planned, and our older profile found no scheduling or video calls. You cannot sell a course or a package in Quenza today, so it would sit beside Paperbell or another checkout.

Pick it over Coachful if you already have checkout and booking sorted and only want a dedicated app of interactive exercises for clients between sessions.

What does each tool cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

The table shows the cheapest listed monthly plan that includes course delivery at each client count, as listed in October 2026. Annual billing is cheaper on most tools; processor fees are extra everywhere.

Two readings matter. Course platforms look flat because they do not count coaching clients, but they count products or contacts instead. Coaching tools look cheap at five clients, then either cap courses or bill per head as a cohort grows.

Should you run one all-in-one platform or assemble a stack?

For most coaches selling a course beside 1:1 packages, one platform costs less and asks less of clients. An assembled stack makes sense only when one half of the business needs something the all-in-one cannot do. Here are three example recipes, priced from the monthly figures above.

Recipe A, all-in-one. Coachful runs the website, funnel, email, checkout, course, 1:1 booking, agreements, programs and community. At 15 clients the cost is Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients, plus Stripe or Razorpay processing. Clients get one app; you get one login and one client record.

Recipe B, keep Paperbell and add a course tool. Paperbell for 1:1 admin at $97 plus Teachable Builder at $89 comes to $186 a month. Paperbell plus Podia Shaker (billed yearly) comes to $181 a month. Clients log in to two places, your course buyers and 1:1 clients live in two lists, and you reconcile payments from two dashboards.

Recipe C, cheaper coaching tool plus a course tool. Simply.Coach Growth at $49 plus Teachable Builder at $89 is $138 a month at 15 clients, and you would still want a separate email tool for funnels unless Teachable's built-in email covers it. Satori Pro at $49 plus Podia Shaker at $84 is $133 a month, with Podia handling the site and email.

These are example totals, not quotes; check each vendor's current page before you commit. Add the hidden cost too: every extra tool is another set of logins, another place a client gets lost, and another export when you change your mind. Our platforms that combine courses and 1:1 coaching guide goes deeper on the trade-off.

How do you move from Paperbell without losing clients or course buyers?

Move in stages: build the course and offers first, then switch new sales, then move existing clients at a natural break. Do not move a client mid-package if you can help it.

  1. Export what Paperbell holds. Paperbell keeps a client list and history in its Clients area; our older profile could not verify a documented CSV export, so copy client details, package balances and signed contracts manually if needed.
  2. Rebuild offers as products. In Coachful, recreate each 1:1 package as an offer with session credits, and set up the course with modules, lessons and drip timing. Bundle the course with calls where that is how you sell it.
  3. Attach the agreement and intake. Link your coaching agreement to each 1:1 offer so it is e-signed before the first call, and add intake questions to the booking page.
  4. Connect Stripe and calendars. Connect your Stripe account, then sync Google, Apple/iCloud or Outlook so availability matches. Plan to recreate any recurring Paperbell payments on the new checkout, and tell clients before their next charge.
  5. Point the funnel at the course. Build a lead-magnet funnel and an email sequence that ends on the course checkout, with a booking option for people who want 1:1 help instead.
  6. Move clients at renewal. Invite existing clients as their package ends. In Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, so you do not have to rekey everyone.

Our step-by-step guides on migrating from Paperbell and switching without losing a client cover data and timing in detail. If you would rather not build any of this yourself, request it through the white-glove service.

Which Paperbell alternative with courses should you pick?

Pick Coachful if you sell a course and 1:1 coaching to the same people and want the course, the calls, the program work and the community in one client app. It covers all four stages in one subscription, takes no platform fee, and the team will build your course outline, sales page and funnel for free.

Pick Kajabi if courses and marketing are the business and coaching is a premium extra. Pick Podia or Teachable for a cheaper course-first route when you do not need coaching agreements or accountability. Among coaching-first tools, CoachAccountable has the deepest accountability for small rosters, and Delenta Premium suits video-heavy courses with lots of storage. Keep Paperbell only if the course is a single download and 1:1 work is everything else. For a broader view, see the best Paperbell alternatives page.

Frequently asked questions

Does Paperbell support online courses?

Paperbell's pricing page in October 2026 lists online classes and digital downloads among its included features. Our older profile found no full course builder with modules, drip release and completion tracking, and no community or habit tracking. If your course is a few recordings and PDFs, Paperbell may be enough; for a structured course, look at the tools above.

What is the cheapest Paperbell alternative with courses?

On listed monthly prices, CoachVantage Aha! at $59 and Delenta Premium at $79 are the cheapest coaching-first tools with a course feature, and Podia Shaker at $84 billed yearly is the cheapest course-first option without a transaction fee. Cheapest rarely means lowest total cost, because most of these need a second tool for funnels, email or accountability.

Can I sell a course and 1:1 sessions in one checkout?

In Coachful, yes: you can bundle a course with sessions or session credits and sell them through one offer, with payment plans and order bumps. Course-first platforms such as Kajabi, Podia and Teachable list coaching as a product, so check how each handles calls bought alongside a course before you build.

Is Kajabi a good Paperbell alternative for coaches?

Kajabi is strong for coaches whose main product is courses, with unlimited funnels, landing pages and marketing emails on every plan. It costs $179/mo on Basic as listed on 27 October 2026, caps that plan at 5 products, and does not list coaching agreements or habit tracking on its pricing page. It fits course businesses better than coaching practices.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a done-for-you build on every Coachful plan. You describe what you want, such as a course outline and written material, a sales page, a funnel or an email sequence, attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management.

Which tool is best if I mostly do 1:1 coaching and only sell a small course?

If the course is a small extra, a coaching-first tool with a course allowance works: CoachAccountable includes courses on every plan, and CoachVantage includes two or five depending on plan. Coachful also suits this case, since its courses and 1:1 sessions live in the same client record and you can grow the course side later without switching.

Do any of these tools offer PayPal for course sales?

Podia lists PayPal on its Shaker and Earthquaker plans, and Paperbell, Satori, CoachVantage and Delenta mention PayPal or PayPal fees. Coachful does not support PayPal; it uses your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Will my clients need two logins if I add a course platform to Paperbell?

Usually yes. Paperbell's client portal and a separate course platform each have their own login, so a client checks one place for lessons and another for sessions and payments. An all-in-one platform avoids that by putting courses, sessions and programs in one client app.

Can I track ICF coaching hours alongside course students?

Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours. Course-first platforms do not document this. See our ICF hour tracking page for details.

How long does switching from Paperbell take?

It depends on how many packages, contracts and active subscriptions you have. Most of the work is rebuilding offers and moving recurring payments; with Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and the white-glove team can build the course and funnel. Plan the switch around package renewals so no client is mid-commitment.
