Best App for Life Purpose Coaches: Top 10 Picks for 2026

The best app for life purpose coaches is the one your clients actually open on a Tuesday morning, weeks after the inspiring first session has faded. Purpose work happens between calls: a values exercise, a journal prompt, a small experiment, a check-in that asks what felt meaningful this week. So the deciding question is simple. Which app gives your client one place on their phone for reflections, habits, program lessons, messages and community, while giving you one back office that feeds it?
Our pick is Coachful's client app. We make Coachful, so weigh that, but the reasoning is concrete: clients get multi-week programs, daily habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars, courses, a community feed and direct messages in one app on iPhone and Android, shown with your branding inside the Coachful app. Behind it sits your booking, payments, contracts, website and email, all under one login. The other nine tools below each do part of that journey well, and several have no native app at all.
This guide is about the app your clients install. If you are choosing the back office first, read our guide to the best software for life coaches alongside it.
What does a life purpose client do in an app, week to week?
A life purpose client mostly reflects, experiments and reports back. They are not logging sets or macros. They are answering questions like "When did I feel most like myself this week?" and trying small actions that test a direction, such as an informational interview, a weekend volunteering shift or thirty minutes of writing before work.
That shapes what the app needs. A typical client week in a 12-week purpose program looks like this (an example, not a prescription):
- Monday: open the week's lesson, perhaps a short video on values or a worksheet that maps peak experiences.
- Daily: a two-minute morning intention and an evening reflection; tick off one small habit, such as journaling or a walk without a phone.
- Midweek: post in the cohort community about an experiment and read how others got on.
- Before the session: complete a pre-session form so the coach arrives knowing what shifted.
- Any time: message the coach when something big comes up, like a resignation draft or a family conversation.
Many purpose coaches borrow frameworks such as ikigai or values card sorts, and those translate well into recurring prompts. What does not work is a back office the client never sees, or a PDF emailed after each call that gets lost in an inbox.
How does the client journey break down for a purpose coach?
It breaks into four stages, attract, enroll, deliver and retain, and each one asks something different of the client's app and the coach's tools behind it.
- Attract. A curious person finds you through a website, a free guide such as a "find your values" workbook, or a webinar. The app is not visible yet, but the back office must capture the lead and pass it into the same system the app runs on.
- Enroll. They book a discovery call, sign a coaching agreement and pay. The best experience is that payment drops them straight into the app with their program, cohort and first lesson waiting.
- Deliver. This is where the app earns its place: daily check-ins, habits, lessons, goals, messages, session prep and community. Purpose work is slow and nonlinear, so streaks and visible progress help clients see movement they would otherwise miss.
- Retain. After the program, many clients want a lighter rhythm: a monthly session, an alumni community, a new course. Keeping them in the same app, with their history intact, makes that easy to say yes to.
How we chose: we ranked tools by one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery in a phone app, total stack cost, and setup effort (including Coachful's free white-glove build), using what vendors document and what public reviewers report, not hands-on testing.
| Tool | Attract | Enroll | Deliver (client app) | Retain | Starting price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Website, funnels, email | Booking, contracts, payments | Programs, habits, check-ins, courses, messages; iPhone and Android | Community, courses, AI Coach | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients |
| Mighty Networks | Limited | Paid memberships | Community, courses, events in member app | Strong community | $95/mo ($79 annual) |
| Circle | Limited | Paid memberships | Community, courses, events | Strong community | $89/mo billed annually |
| Kajabi | Website, funnels, email | Checkout | Courses and community; no habits or check-ins | Products, community | $179/mo ($143 annual) |
| Practice Better | No website or funnels | Booking, billing | Client portal, programs | Programs | Free for 3 clients; $35/mo |
| CoachAccountable | None | Sessions, invoicing, agreements | Action plans, metrics, worksheets; no native app | Courses | $20/mo (2 clients) |
| Satori | None | Scheduling, packages, contracts | Client portal; no native app | Packages | $33/mo ($27.50 annual) |
| Skool | None | Skool Payments | Community, classroom, calendar | Gamified community | $9/mo plus 10% + 30¢ per sale |
| Everfit | None | Payments add-on | Habits, messaging (fitness-first) | Limited | Free for 5 clients; $19/mo |
| ABC Trainerize | None | Payments add-on | Habits, messaging (fitness-first) | Limited | Free for 1 client; $10/mo |

1. Coachful: why is it the best app for life purpose coaches?
Coachful is the best fit because it is built for coaches who deliver programs between sessions, and the client app carries every piece of that delivery: lessons, habits, check-ins, goals, community and messages, on iPhone and Android, under your brand.

Coachful is a coaching platform. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant called Michelle. The coach has one login; the client has one branded app. It suits solo coaches growing into a small team and coaches who are tired of paying for four to six separate tools.
The client side: what your purpose clients see
Your client opens the app and lands on their coaching hub: the next session, their programs, sessions, progress and documents, and any task you have marked as required before the next call. For purpose work, that pre-session task is often the most valuable thing in the whole week, because it makes the client reflect before they arrive.

Inside a program you can set weekly goals and daily tasks, habits with streaks, and goals with progress bars. Morning and evening check-ins give you a natural rhythm for intention and reflection. A purpose coach might build a morning prompt ("What matters most today?") and an evening one ("Where did I feel energy, and where did I feel drained?"). Over twelve weeks those answers become a record you can review together.
Here is how check-ins and coaching flows are set up:

Courses (with modules, lessons, drip release and completion tracking), downloads, videos, books and AI tools are delivered into the same branded home and app. Community comes built in: a feed, group chat, direct messages and video events. When a client enrolls in a cohort program, they are placed in its cohort group automatically, so the "who else is doing this?" question answers itself on day one.
Between sessions, the AI Coach is worth a look for purpose clients who think out loud. It is an AI version of you that selected clients can chat with, and you decide how it is configured and who gets it.
The coach side: what feeds the app
Everything the client sees comes from the same account where you run the business. Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time zones, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans and coupons, and a 0% Coachful platform fee since August 2026 (only processing fees apply).
Each client record pulls together goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, payments and sessions, with an AI briefing and a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. For purpose coaching, "quiet" is the early warning: the client who stops reflecting is often the one wrestling with something big.
On the attract side, the section-based website builder, booking and lead-magnet funnels, and email sequences with triggers and branching mean the free values workbook on your site can lead directly to a discovery call and then into the app. If you are working toward an ICF credential, Coachful also counts your coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports a client coaching log.
A day in the life of one purpose client
Picture Maya (an illustrative client), six weeks into a 12-week "Purpose Reset" program, deciding whether to leave a corporate job for work in education.
- 7:10 am. Over coffee, she opens the app for her morning check-in. She writes one line of intention: "Ask the school principal for 20 minutes."
- 12:30 pm. She opens week six's lesson, a short video and worksheet on fears versus facts, and fills in the worksheet on her lunch break.
- 6:00 pm. She posts in her cohort group about the conversation with the principal. Two others reply with what they learned from similar calls.
- 9:30 pm. The evening check-in asks where she felt energy today. She ticks off her journaling habit, now at a 20-day streak, and her "experiments" goal moves forward on its progress bar.
- Thursday. Before her session, she completes the required pre-session reflection. Her coach reads Michelle's briefing of her week first, so the call starts at the real question instead of a recap.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create > We'll build it for you · FREE, you describe what you want built, such as a website, a funnel, a 12-week purpose program, a course outline, an intake form or an email sequence. You can attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill. One recent example: a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. Read more about the free white-glove service.

What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified and is not for clinical record-keeping. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There are no third-party plugins and it is not a course marketplace.
How to start. Start a free trial, then request the free white-glove build for your program or website. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients. Monthly plans cancel in one click, and clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. See the Coachful page for life coaches for more.
Skip Coachful if... you something else if you need your own App Store listing, PayPal, HIPAA coverage, or a pure community with thousands of free members.
2. Mighty Networks: is a community app enough for purpose coaching?
Mighty Networks is a strong choice when your purpose offer is mainly a community, such as a membership for people navigating midlife transitions, rather than 1:1 coaching.

Members use Mighty-branded apps for community posts, courses and live events. Livestreaming is included on the three published plans: 20 hours a month for up to 100 attendees on Launch, rising to 40 hours and 1,000 attendees on Growth. That suits monthly group sessions on themes like values, vocation and legacy.
The gap for a coach is the private side. Mighty Networks has no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, and no per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. A client cannot log an evening reflection that only you see, and you cannot track one person's progress across a program. Your own branded app is available only on the custom-priced Mighty Pro plan; on other plans, members find your community inside Mighty's app.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Launch $95/month ($79 billed annually), Scale $215/month ($179 annually), Growth $354/month billed annually, and Mighty Pro on request. Mighty also takes a platform fee on sales of 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Pro, plus Stripe processing. There is a 14-day trial with no card required. Trustpilot showed 3.3 from 219 reviews when we checked in October 2026.
For a purpose coach, the usual pattern is Mighty for the group plus a separate tool for booking, payments and 1:1 work, which brings back the two-login problem for clients. Our roundup of coaching communities for life coaches covers this category in more depth.
Pick it over Coachful if... your business is a large membership community where 1:1 coaching is rare and livestream capacity matters more than individual check-ins.
3. Circle: when does a polished community platform win?
Circle wins when you want a clean, well-organised community with courses and events, and you are happy to run coaching itself somewhere else.

Circle's spaces work well for purpose cohorts: one space for the current group, one for alumni, one for resources. Courses, events, live streams and paid memberships are part of the product. The Trustpilot rating was 4.1 from 129 reviews in October 2026.
Like Mighty Networks, though, Circle has no 1:1 scheduling or client management back office and no per-client habits, check-ins or coaching plans. Branded mobile apps come only with the custom-priced Circle Plus plan.
As listed in October 2026, Circle's published prices are annual-billed: Professional $89/month, Business $199/month and Scale $419/month, with Circle Plus on request. The monthly rates were not shown in the data we reviewed. A platform fee applies to payments: 2% on Professional, 1% on Business and Scale, and 0.5% on Circle Plus, plus Stripe processing. A 14-day trial is available on Professional, Business and Scale with no card required.
For purpose coaches who already run 1:1 work elsewhere and want a beautiful alumni home, Circle is a reasonable add-on. As your only client app, it leaves the daily reflection loop unbuilt. See our comparison of community platforms for coaches for how Coachful's built-in community compares.
Pick it over Coachful if... you already have a coaching back office you love and only need a dedicated, design-led community for paying members.
4. Kajabi: does a course platform cover the client experience?
Partly. Kajabi covers courses, community, websites, funnels and email very well, but it does not do habit tracking or daily client check-ins, so the reflective middle of a purpose program has nowhere to live.

Kajabi is built for selling knowledge products. A purpose coach with a signature course, say a six-module "Design Your Next Chapter" program, will find a mature checkout, email marketing and landing pages. Coaching inside Kajabi is organised as products and communities rather than per-client plans. We did not find app details for clients in the vendor data we reviewed, so confirm the current mobile experience in the App Store and Google Play before committing.
Cost is the main hurdle for a smaller practice. As listed in October 2026: Basic $179/month ($143 billed annually) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts and no AI credits; Growth $249/month ($199 annually); Pro $499/month ($399 annually). Kajabi Payments in the US charges 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic down to 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro, and using a processor other than Kajabi Payments or PayPal adds a further Kajabi fee of 0.5% to 2%. The standard trial is 14 days. Trustpilot showed 3.4 from 2,347 reviews.
Kajabi suits coaches whose income is mostly from courses with light group support. For an ongoing 1:1 purpose practice, you would still need scheduling, agreements and a way for clients to log reflections. Our course platform page for coaches explains how Coachful handles courses alongside coaching.
Pick it over Coachful if... you sell high-volume courses to a large email list and coaching is a small add-on.
5. Practice Better: how does a wellness practice tool fit purpose work?
Practice Better fits if your purpose coaching sits inside a wider wellness practice, because its strengths are scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing and programs for practitioners.

Clients use a client portal to book and follow their programs. Practice Better also pairs a permanent no-cost tier for three clients with clinical-style charting. For purpose coaches, the charting is more than you need, and some features that shape the client experience arrive later than you might expect: evergreen programs, portal branding, a custom URL and SMS start on the Plus plan.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Sprout $0 for 3 clients; Starter $35/month ($25 annually) for 10 clients; Professional $69/month ($59 annually) for 300 clients; Plus $99/month ($89 annually) for unlimited clients; Team $155/month ($145 annually) for two practitioners. Trials run 14 days on paid plans and 30 days on Team. There is no website builder or funnel pages, so attracting clients needs another tool. Trustpilot showed 3.8 from 87 reviews.
If you want to know what clients see in more detail, we covered the Practice Better app for clients and practitioners separately.
Pick it over Coachful if... you also offer nutrition or wellness services that need charting, and you want a free plan for your first three clients.
6. CoachAccountable: what do clients get without a native app?
Clients get a capable web experience with action plans, metrics and worksheets, but no native mobile app according to the older vendor profile we hold, so the phone experience runs through a browser.

CoachAccountable is a seasoned coaching back office. Sessions, action plans, metrics, worksheets, courses, invoicing and agreements are all there, and public reviewers rate it highly: Trustpilot showed 4.8 from 47 reviews in October 2026. For a purpose coach who likes structured accountability, action plans and worksheets map well onto values exercises and weekly experiments.
Two things weigh against it for this article's question. First, a browser-only client experience means no app icon on the home screen and fewer gentle nudges to reflect. Second, it is priced per active client: Starter $20/month for 2, Level 1 $40 for 5, Level 2 $70 for 10, Level 3 $120 for 20, Level 4 $250 for 50 and Level 5 $400 for 100, as listed in October 2026. Group programs get expensive quickly. There are no landing pages, website or marketing automation, so you would add tools for the attract stage. The trial is 30 days with no card and no limits.
If you are weighing a move, our CoachAccountable alternatives page lists options side by side.
Pick it over Coachful if... you coach a small number of 1:1 clients who are happy on the web, and you want deep action-plan and metric tracking above all else.
7. Satori: is a lightweight practice tool enough?
For a coach just starting out, it can be. Satori handles scheduling, a client portal, packages, invoices and contracts, with billing based only on active paying clients.

Satori's appeal is simplicity and a gentle price for new coaches. The Scholar plan is free for unlimited pro-bono clients if you are studying for a coaching certification and apply by form, which is helpful while you log practice hours. The older profile we hold notes no native mobile app and no native Zoom integration, and no landing pages, courses or community. That leaves the deliver and retain stages thin for a purpose program that depends on daily reflection.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Essentials $33/month ($27.50 annually) for up to 10 active paying clients; Pro $49/month ($40.83 annually); Leader $124/month ($103.33 annually). The Pro and Leader client limits come from an older profile, so check current limits on Satori's site. Satori does not charge on client payments; standard PayPal and Stripe fees apply. The trial is 15 days without a card, with a refund available within 30 days of signing up.
If you are still in training, our life coach certification guide may help you plan those pro-bono hours.
Pick it over Coachful if... you are still training, coach only pro-bono clients for now, and want PayPal support.
8. Skool: can a gamified group app hold purpose clients?
Skool can hold a group well, thanks to its community, classroom and calendar in one place with leaderboards, but it has no 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits or check-ins.

Some purpose coaches run a low-cost entry community on Skool, with a monthly theme, a classroom of short lessons and a weekly live call, and sell 1:1 coaching to the members who want more. The gamified leaderboard can motivate people who like visible points. It can also sit oddly with introspective purpose work, where the goal is honesty, not ranking.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Hobby $9/month ($7.50 annually) and Pro $99/month ($82.50 annually), both with unlimited members, courses and live calls. Payments go only through Skool Payments: Hobby charges 10% + 30¢ on every transaction; Pro charges 2.9% + 30¢ up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900. There is no custom domain website, funnels, email automation or public API. The trial length was not stated on the pricing page. Trustpilot showed 1.6 from 54 reviews. We did not find mobile app details in the vendor data we reviewed, so check the stores directly.
Pick it over Coachful if... you want a cheap, game-like entry community and plan to keep 1:1 coaching entirely separate.
9. Everfit: does a fitness app translate to purpose habits?
It translates for habits and messaging, since Everfit is a fitness coaching app with habit tracking, but most of its depth (workouts, nutrition) is irrelevant to a purpose client.

A few purpose coaches who work on energy and wellbeing alongside direction use fitness apps for the habit and messaging features. Everfit's free Starter plan covers up to 5 clients, which makes it an easy experiment. The trade-off is that your client opens an app full of workout features they will never use, and the things purpose work needs, such as lessons, journaling prompts and a cohort community, are not its focus. Automation (Autoflow), payments and meal plans are paid add-ons, and there is no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Starter free for 5 clients; Pro from $19/month ($16 annually) for 5 clients, scaling to $49 for 20 clients and $140 for 100; Studio from $105/month for 50 clients. The trial is 30 days with no card. Trustpilot showed 2.7 from 16 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if... your coaching is mostly physical wellbeing with a purpose angle, and you need a free plan for up to five clients.
10. ABC Trainerize: is it worth it for non-fitness coaching?
Rarely. ABC Trainerize is a personal-training app priced by client seats, and while it includes habits and messaging, scheduling, payments and selling products are paid add-ons below its Studio plan.

We include it because purpose coaches who come from a fitness background sometimes already have it. For a client exploring vocation and values, its workout-first design gets in the way. There is no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing, and the older profile we hold notes that client data export is incomplete, missing messages, photos and attachments. That last point matters if you ever move: years of a client's reflections could stay behind.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Basic free for 1 client; Grow $10/month ($9 annually) for 2 clients; Pro from $25/month ($23 annually) for 5 clients with tiers up to 200; Studio Plus $275/month ($248 annually) for 500 or more clients. The trial is 30 days with unlimited clients and no card. Trustpilot showed 3.1 from 100 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if... you are primarily a personal trainer who adds a little purpose coaching, and your clients already live in the app.
Which client app features matter most, tool by tool?
The features that matter most for purpose clients are check-ins, habits, program lessons, private messaging and a community, all in a native app. This matrix shows who covers what, based on vendor documentation.
| Tool | Native iPhone and Android app | Daily check-ins | Habits and streaks | Lessons and courses | Community | Your branding |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Yes | Morning and evening | Yes | Yes, with drip | Feed, group chat, DMs | Inside the Coachful app |
| Mighty Networks | Yes (Mighty app) | No | No | Yes | Yes | Own app on Mighty Pro only |
| Circle | Check the stores | No | No | Yes | Yes | Own app on Circle Plus only |
| Kajabi | Check the stores | No | No | Yes | Yes | Website and products |
| Practice Better | Client portal | Not documented | Not documented | Programs | Not documented | Portal branding on Plus |
| CoachAccountable | No (web) | Metrics and worksheets | Action plans | Yes | No | Not documented |

What does each stack cost, all-in-one versus assembled?
An all-in-one stack is usually cheaper and simpler for clients; an assembled stack can match features but means more logins and more monthly bills. The recipes below use vendor prices as listed in October 2026 for a coach with about 15 active clients. They are examples, and they leave out payment processing.
| Stack | What it covers | Apps the client uses | Monthly software cost (example) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful alone | Website, funnels, email, booking, contracts, payments, programs, habits, check-ins, courses, community | One | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients |
| CoachAccountable Level 3 + Circle Professional | 1:1 back office plus community; no website or email | Two (one web-only) | $120 + $89 (annual) = $209, plus website and email tools |
| Satori Pro + Mighty Networks Launch | Booking and packages plus community; no website, habits or check-ins | Two (one web-only) | $49 + $95 = $144, plus website and email tools |
| Kajabi Basic + Practice Better Starter | Courses, website, email plus 1:1 booking for up to 10 clients | Two | $179 + $35 = $214 (Starter caps at 10 clients) |
| Skool Hobby + Everfit Pro (20 clients) | Community plus habits and messaging; no website or contracts | Two | $9 + $49 = $58, plus 10% + 30¢ on each Skool sale |
The assembled stacks share one problem beyond cost: a purpose client's reflections, community posts and session notes end up in different places, and neither app knows what the other holds. The coach also loses the single view of who is thriving and who has gone quiet. Platform fees matter too. Mighty Networks, Circle and Skool all take a share of sales on top of processing, while Coachful's platform fee has been 0% since August 2026.
How do you move clients to a new app without losing them?
Move in a planned window, carry the history across, and give clients one clear reason to install the new app on day one. Most churn during a switch comes from confusion, not the software.
- Export before you cancel. Download notes, forms, worksheets and messages from the old tool. Some tools export less than you expect; ABC Trainerize's export, for example, is reported to miss messages, photos and attachments.
- Pick a natural break. Start new cohorts in the new app and move 1:1 clients at the start of a fresh month or program phase, not mid-week.
- Bring their story with them. A purpose client's earlier reflections are part of the work. In Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, so their history is there when they log in.
- Make the first login worth it. Have their next session, current goal and a welcome check-in waiting. Coachful's welcome flow is designed for exactly this.
- Send one short message with one link. Explain why you are switching in a sentence ("everything in one place on your phone") and how to install.
- Keep the old tool read-only for a few weeks if your plan allows it, then close it.
Here is how a client journey is built in Coachful, from welcome flow to program:
What mistakes do purpose coaches make when choosing a client app?
The most common mistake is choosing for the coach's admin and forgetting what the client sees every day. Others follow close behind:
- Treating community as the whole program. A community feed is wonderful for belonging, but purpose work also needs private reflection that only you see.
- Accepting a browser-only experience. Without an app on the phone, the gentle daily prompt that keeps reflection going is harder to deliver.
- Ignoring per-client and per-sale pricing. Per-active-client plans and platform fees grow with your success. Model 20 and 50 clients before you commit.
- Assuming "branded app" means your own App Store listing. Ask exactly where the app is listed and whose name appears. Coachful, for example, puts your branding inside the Coachful app.
- Forgetting scope. Purpose coaching can surface grief, burnout or depression. Coaching is not therapy, and your app should not be used as a clinical record. The ICF Core Competencies are a useful reference for ethical practice; when a client shows signs of a mental health concern, refer them to a licensed professional, and point them to resources such as the NIMH help page.

So which app should a life purpose coach choose?
Choose Coachful if you run programs with between-session work and want your clients to have one branded app for reflections, habits, lessons, community and messages, on top of a back office that handles booking, payments, contracts, website and email. It covers all four stages of the journey with one login for you and one app for your clients, and the free white-glove build removes most of the setup effort.
Choose Mighty Networks or Circle if your offer is a community first and 1:1 coaching is rare. Choose Kajabi if courses are your main income. Practice Better, CoachAccountable and Satori are reasonable back offices, though none of them offers the daily check-in and habit loop that purpose clients use most. Skool, Everfit and ABC Trainerize are niche choices for specific situations.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best app for life purpose coaches in 2026?
We rank Coachful first because its client app combines programs, daily check-ins, habits, goals, courses, community and messaging on iPhone and Android, backed by booking, payments and a website in the same account. We make Coachful, so compare it against the others on this list during a free trial.
Does Coachful give me my own App Store listing?
No. Your clients download the Coachful app on iPhone or Android and see your branding inside it. If having your own listing under your own developer account is essential, ask any vendor exactly how that works and what it costs.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a free build service on every plan. You describe what you need, such as a website, funnel, program, course outline or email sequence, attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management.
Which apps on this list have no native mobile app?
Based on the vendor profiles we hold, CoachAccountable and Satori have no native mobile app, so clients use a browser. For Kajabi and Skool we did not find app details in the vendor data we reviewed, so check the App Store and Google Play directly.
Can I run a purpose cohort and 1:1 clients in the same app?
In Coachful, yes. Cohort groups are created automatically when clients enroll in a program, and 1:1 clients get their own goals, habits and check-ins in the same app. Community-first tools like Mighty Networks, Circle and Skool handle the group well but have no private per-client coaching plans.
Is a fitness app like Everfit or ABC Trainerize a good fit for purpose coaching?
Usually not as your main app. Both offer habits and messaging, but they are built around workouts and nutrition, and neither has a course builder, website or email marketing. They make sense only if physical wellbeing is a large part of your coaching.
Is Coachful HIPAA-compliant?
No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, and it is not meant for clinical record-keeping. Purpose coaching is not therapy; refer clients to a licensed professional when a mental health concern comes up.
How much does a life purpose coaching app cost?
Among the vendors here, as listed in October 2026, prices range from free plans for a handful of clients (Practice Better, Everfit, ABC Trainerize) to $499 a month for Kajabi Pro. Watch for per-client pricing and platform fees on sales, which can matter more than the headline price.
Can I move my existing clients into Coachful?
Yes. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and you can export full client data as a ZIP at any time. Plan the move for a natural break in each client's program.
Does Coachful track ICF coaching hours?
Yes. It counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours. Learn more on the ICF hour tracking page.
