The 10 Best Coaching Platforms With No Transaction Fees

The 10 Best Coaching Platforms With No Transaction Fees

The best coaching platforms with no transaction fees take nothing from your client payments beyond the subscription you already pay: the platform keeps 0%, your payment processor charges its standard card rate, and the rest lands in your account. That part is easy to check. The harder question is what a 0% fee costs you elsewhere, because a booking app or storefront that takes no cut can still leave you paying for contracts, programs, a website and email in four other places, each with its own monthly bill.

Our pick is Coachful. We make Coachful, so read the reasoning with that in mind; it is all laid out below. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee on client payments taken through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, and the same membership covers booking, coaching agreements, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community, a website with funnels, and email. The other nine tools here also take no platform cut (or, in one case, only under a condition we spell out), and each one wins for a particular kind of coach.

What do coaches actually need from a no-transaction-fee platform?

Coaches need three things: their own processor account so payouts go straight to them, payment options that match how coaching is sold, and enough delivery features that "0% fee" does not turn into "five subscriptions". A percentage fee matters more in coaching than in most online businesses because coaching sales are large and few. A 2% platform fee on a single high-ticket package costs far more than 2% of a low-priced ebook, and it repeats on every installment of a payment plan and every month of a retainer.

Here is what that looks like in practice for a coaching business:

  • Packages, payment plans and subscriptions. Most coaches sell a three or six month package, often split into installments, plus a monthly retainer or membership. The platform needs to handle all three without a fee on each charge. Our guide to payment plans and late fees covers the terms side.
  • Your own processor. A platform that makes you use its built-in payments can set its own card rate and hold your payouts. Bringing your own Stripe account keeps the customer and payout relationship with you.
  • Paid sessions and session credits. Single sessions, discovery calls with a deposit, or a bundle of credits clients draw down. Taking payment at booking is also one of the most reliable ways to prevent no-shows.
  • A signed agreement before money and sessions start. Scope, cancellation and refund terms should be signed before the first call, not emailed as a PDF afterwards. See coaching contracts.
  • Between-session delivery. Clients paying for a program expect something between calls: weekly goals, habits, check-ins, lessons. If your fee-free checkout cannot deliver that, you are adding another subscription.
  • International clients. Currency conversion and cross-border card charges come from your processor, not the platform, but they still eat margin. Our guide on charging international coaching clients explains where those costs come from.

One distinction runs through this whole article. A platform fee (or transaction fee) is a percentage the software company keeps on top of everything else. A processing fee is what your payment processor charges to move the money, and it includes the card networks' interchange fees that no software can remove. "No transaction fees" means the first is zero. The second never is, unless you take bank transfers outside the platform.

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

How did we choose these platforms?

We started from every coaching-relevant tool in our October 2026 vendor data and kept only those whose own pricing pages say they take no cut of your sales. We did not test the tools hands-on; everything below comes from what vendors document on their pricing and help pages and from public review counts on Trustpilot, seen on 25 October 2026.

Then we ranked by the criteria above. A tool with 0% fees that only does scheduling ranks below one that also delivers the program, because a coach using it will pay for more software. Direct coaching-practice tools (Paperbell, CoachVantage, Delenta) sit mid-table: they handle the admin well but leave gaps in delivery or marketing that Coachful covers in the same membership.

Several popular platforms did not make the list because they keep a percentage of sales. These figures come from their pricing pages in October 2026, and the "example" column applies each published rate to a single illustrative $1,000 charge.

PlatformWhat it keeps or charges per saleExample on a $1,000 charge
Coachful0% Coachful platform fee since August 2026; your Stripe or Razorpay processing onlyNo platform fee; processor rate only
Skool (Hobby)10% + 30¢ on all transactions, through Skool Payments only; fees non-refundable$100.30
Skool (Pro)2.9% + 30¢ up to $899; 3.9% + 30¢ above $900$39.30
KajabiKajabi Payments 2.9% to 2.7% + $0.30 by plan; with another provider (not PayPal), an extra 2% Basic, 1% Growth, 0.5% Pro$20 extra on Basic with another provider, on top of that provider's fee
Mighty Networks2% Launch, 1% Scale, 0.5% Growth and Mighty Pro, plus Stripe processing$20 on Launch, plus Stripe
Kit Commerce3.5% + $0.30 per USD transaction, all-in$35.30
HoneyBookPayments must run through HoneyBook; card 2.7% + 10¢ in the FAQ but 2.9% + 25¢ in the plan comparison; ACH 1.5%$27.10 or $29.25 (page conflicts)

Skool and HoneyBook are processors themselves, so their figure is the whole cost of taking the card; Kajabi with another provider and Mighty Networks add their cut on top of processing. The scale is what matters: if you collect $5,000 a month (an example figure), a 2% platform fee is $100 a month, or $1,200 a year, before any processing. On Skool Hobby the same volume costs about $500 a month. Our pricing breakdowns for Skool, Kajabi and HoneyBook go deeper.

1. Coachful: the whole client journey at a 0% platform fee

Coachful's client Discover view with bundle cards on a laptop beside a leather notebook
Coachful's client Discover view with demo bundle cards and program filters, on a laptop beside a leather notebook.

Coachful is a coaching platform built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions: solo coaches growing into a small team, and coaches replacing four to six tools. It takes a 0% Coachful platform fee on client payments (since August 2026). You connect your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, and the only deduction is that processor's fee. Everything else, from booking to the client's habit tracker, is included in your Coachful membership.

The payments side covers how coaches really sell. You can charge one-time fees, subscriptions and payment plans, add order bumps, run coupons, issue refunds and accept Apple Pay and Google Pay. Stripe Tax is supported for sales tax and VAT; whether you need to collect it depends on where you and your clients are, so check with an accountant. Every transaction gets an invoice automatically, and you can raise manual invoices for anything sold outside a checkout. Here is the invoices walkthrough:

Offers sit in one place. A package, a monthly "in my corner" retainer and a 90-day program each become an offer card with its own cover image and price. Paid sessions and session credits work on the booking side, so a single call or a five-session bundle is paid before it happens.

Coachful Offers page with three live offer cards
Coachful's Offers page with demo offers, three of them live, each with its own cover photo and price.

Before the first call, the client signs your coaching agreement with an e-signature, and the signed copy is stored on their client record next to payments, sessions, notes, intake answers and tags. Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync, built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links, and email reminders (plus SMS 24 hours ahead and WhatsApp one hour ahead once messaging is enabled).

The biggest gap between Coachful and the other tools on this list opens up between sessions. A multi-week program can carry weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Clients see all of it in their branded home and app: the next session, a pre-session task, their programs and documents.

On the coach's side, every client carries a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you can spot the person who stopped checking in before their renewal comes up. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from that live data: it briefs you before a session, summarizes recorded sessions, drafts emails and builds programs. Questions and planning are included in your membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.

The rest of the stack is in the same login. Courses with modules, drip and completion tracking; a community feed with group chat and video events, plus cohort groups created automatically when someone enrolls in a program; a section-based website builder with 30 designed homepage templates, a blog and a custom domain; booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixel and UTM tracking; and email lists, broadcasts and sequences with branching. For ICF-credentialed coaches, coaching hours are counted against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds automatically.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, the "We'll build it for you · FREE" option lets you describe what you want built: a website, a sales page for your package, a checkout funnel, a program, a course outline, an email sequence or a lead quiz. You can attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, photos and existing copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours, and invents nothing: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and any gaps are left for you to fill. One recent example: a business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. Another, a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away, got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. More in our post on the white-glove service.

Coachful Create page with the We'll build it for you card
The Create page in Coachful with the card that requests a build from the Coachful team.

What Coachful does not do. There is no PayPal, so clients who insist on paying by PayPal need another route. It is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA, so it is not for clinical records or insurance billing. There is no permanent free plan. The client app runs under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, no Salesforce or HubSpot integration, and the affiliate program records payouts manually rather than sending them.

How to start. Pricing is a flat monthly plan; lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and team plans add coach seats (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Monthly plans cancel in one click. Begin with a free trial, connect Stripe or Razorpay, and request a white-glove build for your sales page or website while you set up your first offer. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.

2. Systeme.io, when the budget is close to zero

Systeme.io homepage promoting its all-in-one funnels, email and course tools
Systeme.io's homepage in October 2026.

Systeme.io is a low-cost marketing suite: funnels, email, courses, community, a blog and an affiliate program. It states 0% transaction fees on every plan, including the Free plan, and payments run through your own Stripe or PayPal with only their processing fees. Among fee-free tools, it is the one where a coach launching a lead magnet and a starter course can pay nothing at all for the software.

The plans as listed in October 2026: Free at $0 (2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 500 students, 1 blog, 1 custom domain, 1 automation rule, 1 email campaign); Startup at $17 a month (5,000 contacts, 10 funnels, 5 courses); Webinar at $47 (10,000 contacts, 50 funnels, 20 courses); and Unlimited at $97 (unlimited contacts, funnels, courses and automation rules). There is no trial because the Free plan never expires, and no card is required to sign up. On Trustpilot it showed 4.9 from 8,696 reviews when we checked.

For coaches, the strength is marketing. You can build an opt-in page for a free guide, follow it with an email sequence, and send people to a checkout for a self-paced course or a group program, all without a percentage coming off the sale.

The gaps are on the coaching side. According to its September 2026 profile, Systeme.io has no native 1:1 scheduling tied to client records, and no habits or check-ins. Its community and course features are described as basic, and there is no branded mobile app. A coach selling private packages would add a scheduler and still have no place to track a client's progress between calls, which means more logins for the client and more subscriptions for you.

Pick it over Coachful if your business is mostly list-building and self-paced digital products, you rarely run 1:1 sessions, and keeping software spend near zero matters more than having client delivery in one place.

3. Stan Store for link-in-bio sales

Stan Store homepage showing its link-in-bio creator storefront
Stan Store's homepage in October 2026.

Stan Store turns a social profile link into a storefront for digital products, courses, memberships and paid calls. The company says you "keep 100% of every sale": Stan takes 0%, and standard Stripe or PayPal processing applies. For coaches who find clients on Instagram or TikTok, it shortens the path from a post to a paid booking.

Two plans are listed in October 2026. Creator costs $29 a month ($25 billed annually) with unlimited products and customers in one store. Creator Pro costs $99 a month ($79 annually). The important detail is what sits only on Pro: email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates. A coach who wants to email buyers or offer a launch coupon is on the higher plan. Both plans come with a 14-day trial, and its help center says the first month is charged when the trial ends. Trustpilot showed 4.7 from 2,205 reviews.

Where it falls short for coaching is everything after the sale. Stan Store has no contracts, no invoices and no client records; it is not a CRM. There are no programs with client tasks, habits or check-ins, and no team seats are advertised. A coach who sells a 12-week package through Stan still needs somewhere to send the agreement, run the sessions and track the work. That is usually two or three more tools, which is where the 0% saving starts to disappear into subscriptions.

It does one job very well, though. Selling a paid call or a digital download from a profile link, with no platform cut, is exactly what it is designed for. Our Stan Store pricing breakdown compares the two plans in more detail.

Pick it over Coachful if your coaching income comes mainly from social media followers buying single calls and digital products, and you do not run multi-week programs that need delivery, contracts or client records.

4. Acuity Scheduling: paid booking with intake forms

Acuity Scheduling homepage showing its appointment booking product
Acuity Scheduling's homepage in October 2026.

Owned by Squarespace, Acuity Scheduling handles appointment booking with intake forms, packages and memberships. It does not mention any Acuity fee on payments; you connect your own Stripe, Square, PayPal or Venmo and pay their rates. It accepts more payment processors than any other tool here, which matters for coaches whose clients want to pay with Venmo or PayPal.

Pricing as listed in October 2026: Starter at $20 a month ($16 annually) with one calendar; Standard at $34 ($27) with up to six calendars; Premium at $69 ($55) with up to 36 calendars; and a custom Enterprise tier. Every plan has a seven-day trial with no card, and you are not charged until you choose a plan. Text reminders start on Standard, and a HIPAA BAA is only available on Premium. Trustpilot showed 3.6 from 687 reviews.

Pricing is by calendar rather than by client, so a solo coach with 5 or 40 clients pays the same. Packages and memberships let you sell a block of sessions up front, and intake forms collect background before the first call.

What it lacks is everything a client sees between bookings. There is no client portal for programs, habits, check-ins or messaging, and no courses, community, website builder or email marketing. Contracts with e-signature are not part of what we found documented either. A coach using Acuity as the booking and payment layer still needs a website, an agreement tool, and somewhere to deliver the program.

Pick it over Coachful if you need clients to pay by PayPal, Square or Venmo, your work is session-based with no between-session program, and you already have a website elsewhere.

5. Paperbell. Why do solo coaches like its single price?

Paperbell homepage presenting its all-in-one admin for solo coaches
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

Paperbell is all-in-one admin for solo coaches: booking, packages, payments, contracts, a client portal and a simple website. Its pricing page states "No additional transaction fees", and Stripe or PayPal processor fees apply according to its September 2026 profile. The appeal is simplicity: one plan, one price, unlimited clients, sessions, files, packages and traffic.

That plan costs $97 a month, or $80.83 a month billed annually, as listed in October 2026, and comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. The pricing page has a "Try For Free" button without a stated length; in July 2026 its help center described a seven-day trial with the public site offline and client messages and SMS turned off. Trustpilot showed 3.5 from 14 reviews.

For a 1:1 coach selling packages, Paperbell covers the core sequence: a client picks a package, signs the contract, pays and books sessions. Because the price does not change with client count, it suits coaches who expect to grow their 1:1 roster without moving tiers.

The limits show up once you deliver more than sessions. Its September 2026 profile lists no courses or LMS, no community, and no goal or habit tracking, and there is no native mobile app; clients use a mobile browser. Pricing is per coach, so adding an associate doubles the bill. And at $97 for a single tier, it costs more than most entry plans in this list before you add an email tool or a course platform.

Pick it over Coachful if you only run 1:1 sessions, want PayPal as a client payment option, and prefer one fixed admin price with no tiers to think about.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

6. CoachVantage, priced per coach with unlimited clients

CoachVantage homepage presenting its coaching practice management software
CoachVantage's homepage in October 2026.

CoachVantage covers practice management: CRM, scheduling, contracts with e-signature, invoices, a client portal, group programs and small courses. Its pricing page promises "No commissions on the revenue you earn", with Stripe or PayPal fees applying. Both plans include unlimited contacts and engagements, so client count never pushes you up a tier.

The two plans as listed in October 2026 are Clarity at $39 a month ($35 annually) and Aha! at $59 ($53). Clarity is where the caps sit: 2 group programs, 2 sales pages, 2 booking pages, 4 e-signatures a month, 2 contract templates, 2 courses and 500 MB. Aha! lifts group programs (with cohorts), sales pages, booking pages and e-signatures to unlimited, with 5 contract templates, 5 courses and 1 GB. A 14-day trial needs no card.

The e-signature cap is the one coaches should notice. If you sign more than four new clients a month on Clarity, you are on Aha! whether or not you need the other features. For coaches who manage many engagements at once, the engagement model and unlimited contacts are the draw.

Its September 2026 profile notes no team or multi-coach features, and its built-in video, CVMeet, is reported by users as weak, with many still running sessions on Zoom. There is no habit tracking or daily check-in feature documented, and the sales pages are not a full website with a blog or email sequences, so marketing lives elsewhere.

Pick it over Coachful if you are a solo coach whose work is engagement and contract management for many contacts, you want PayPal as an option, and you do not need daily client check-ins or a full website in the same tool.

7. Delenta: client portals and courses on Premium

Delenta homepage presenting its coaching platform with client portals
Delenta's homepage in October 2026.

Delenta is a coaching practice platform with a CRM, scheduling, contracts, client portals, group coaching and, on its top solo tier, courses. Like Paperbell, it states "No additional transaction fees", with Stripe or PayPal processor fees applying. Its annual discounts are steep, which brings the entry price close to the cheapest tools here.

As listed in October 2026: Starter at $29 a month ($19.08 annually) with one seat, 10 client portals and 1 GB; Pro at $49 ($39.08) with 40 client portals, 5 GB and up to six calendars; Premium at $79 ($58.25) with unlimited client portals and 100 GB. Teams uses a per-seat licence fee that the page does not show, and Enterprise is custom. The trial terms conflict on the page: the headline says 14 days while the FAQ says unlimited access "for 7 days". No card is required. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 5 reviews.

Client portals are the unit that matters. Ten on Starter suits a coach just starting out; a practice with 40 or more active clients reaches Premium. The course creator and mobile app are also Premium-only, so a coach who wants to sell a self-paced course alongside 1:1 work is on the top solo tier from day one.

Multi-coach features need the custom-priced Teams plan. We found no documentation of a website builder, funnels or email sequences, so a coach selling through Delenta would likely add a site and an email tool.

Pick it over Coachful if you want PayPal alongside Stripe, your client count stays small enough for Starter or Pro, and portals plus contracts cover what your clients need between sessions.

8. Calendly: just the paid booking link

Calendly homepage showing its scheduling and booking page product
Calendly's homepage in October 2026.

Calendly is a scheduling tool: booking pages, reminders and workflows, and paid bookings. It documents no Calendly fee on payments; you connect your own Stripe or PayPal and pay their rates. If you already book discovery calls through it, adding payment to a session type is a small step.

Prices as listed in October 2026: Free at $0 with one event type and one calendar connection; Standard at $10 per seat a month billed annually, with up to six calendar connections and unlimited event types; Teams at $16 per seat annually; Teams Plus at $24; and Enterprise from $15,000 a year with a 50-seat minimum. The page did not show monthly-billing prices for the paid tiers or a trial answer on the day we checked. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 714 reviews.

The Free plan's single event type is the catch for coaches. A free discovery call and a paid session are two event types, so charging for sessions effectively starts on Standard. Pricing is per seat, so each coach on a team pays separately.

Beyond booking, there is little for a coaching business. Calendly has no client records, notes, programs, habits or check-ins, no intake questionnaires beyond booking questions, and no contracts or invoicing. It works as one piece of a stack, and every other piece is a separate bill. Our Calendly pricing guide lists the seat tiers.

Pick it over Coachful if all you need right now is a paid booking link next to tools you already like, or your clients pay by PayPal and you never run programs between calls.

9. Thinkific: 0%, with a condition attached

Thinkific homepage presenting its online course and community platform
Thinkific's homepage in October 2026.

Thinkific is a course platform with communities, memberships and coaching or webinar products. Its 0% claim comes with a condition: the Thinkific transaction fee is 0% when you use Thinkific Payments, whose rate the company describes as "in line with other processors at 2.9%". If you connect Stripe or PayPal as a third-party gateway instead, a per-plan gateway fee applies, and the page does not list the amounts. That is why it ranks low on a list about fees.

Plans as listed in October 2026: Start at $109 a month ($82 annually) with 10,000 current students, 2 admins and one community; Grow at $219 ($164) with 6 admins and 3 communities; Expand at $499 ($374) with 15 admins and 10 communities; and a custom Plus tier. Prices rose about 10% on 13 August 2026 (Start from $99 to $109, Grow from $199 to $219). Every self-serve plan has a 30-day trial. Its pricing page shows euro prices to European visitors. Trustpilot showed 1.8 from 868 reviews.

For course-led coaches, Thinkific is an established place to host a signature course and a member community. The coaching side is thinner: its September 2026 profile says there is no built-in 1:1 scheduling, so coaching relies on external booking links. There are no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans, and a branded mobile app is a $199-a-month add-on.

Pick it over Coachful if your business is primarily a large self-paced course with thousands of students, you are happy to use Thinkific Payments, and 1:1 coaching is a small add-on handled through another booking tool.

10. Quenza, which never touches the money

Quenza homepage presenting its client activities and worksheets app
Quenza's homepage in October 2026.

Quenza is a client-engagement tool for coaches and therapists: activities, worksheets, programs, chat and a client app. It has no transaction fees for the simplest possible reason: it does not process client payments today. Invoicing and digital products are marked "Planned" or "Soon" on its pricing page.

As listed in October 2026: Spark at $25 a month ($20 annually) for one professional and 10 clients; Growth at $50 ($40) for 250 clients; Impact at $125 ($100) for 400 clients; Collective at $160 ($128) for up to three professionals and 500 clients; and a Beyond tier with unlimited clients. The trial runs 30 days with no card. Trustpilot showed 4.3 from 8 reviews.

Its strength is the between-session work that most fee-free tools skip. A coach can send structured activities and worksheets, build them into a program, and message clients in its app. For coaches whose method relies on reflective exercises, that is the core of the product.

The trade-off is that you need another tool for everything commercial. Payments, invoicing and contracts sit outside Quenza, and its September 2026 profile notes no scheduling or video calls. A typical setup pairs it with a scheduler and a payment link, which means at least three logins and the job of matching who has paid with who is enrolled.

Pick it over Coachful if you only want a worksheet and activity layer for clients, payments already run through a tool you will not change, and you do not need booking, contracts or marketing in the same place.

How do the features compare?

The matrix shows which parts of the client journey each fee-free platform covers, based on vendor documentation and profiles from September and October 2026. "Not documented" means we found no evidence either way.

Only Coachful fills every column. The others are 0% on fees but leave two or more parts of the journey to separate tools, which is the cost the next table puts a number on.

What does each platform cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

These are the cheapest listed monthly plans that fit each client count, as of October 2026 (Calendly shows annual billing only). Processing fees are excluded because they are the same percentage wherever you bring your own Stripe account. Remember that most rows below cover only part of what the Coachful row covers.

Platform5 clients15 clients40 clientsWhat drives the price

A fair comparison adds the tools each option still needs. As an example, a coach on Acuity Scheduling ($20) who adds Stan Store Creator Pro for email and coupons ($99) and Quenza Growth for between-session work ($50) pays $169 a month across three logins, still without contracts or a full website. Run the same sum for your own stack before deciding. If you are pricing a move, our guide to switching coaching platforms without disrupting clients covers timing.

How does a coach set up fee-free payments in Coachful, step by step?

Here is how a coach selling a three-month package with a payment plan, a monthly retainer and paid single sessions would set it up. The package and timings are examples; adjust them to your offer.

  1. Connect your processor. Link your own Stripe Connect account (or Razorpay, common for coaches in India). Payouts go to you, and the only deduction on each charge is your processor's fee, because the Coachful platform fee is 0%.
  2. Turn on tax if it applies. Enable Stripe Tax if you need to collect sales tax or VAT. Rules depend on where you and your clients are based, so check with an accountant before switching it on.
  3. Create the package offer. Set it up as a one-time price with a payment-plan option, for example three monthly installments. Add an order bump, such as a recorded workshop, and a coupon for past clients if you use them. Set up the matching program for the package so it is ready when the first client pays.
  4. Attach the agreement. Add your coaching agreement so it goes out for e-signature before the first call. Include cancellation, refund and late-payment terms; our guide to payment plan terms has wording to adapt.
  5. Build the booking page. Create a free discovery call and a paid single session with availability rules, buffers and minimum notice. Add intake questions to the discovery call so you arrive prepared, and sell a bundle of session credits for clients who prefer to pay in blocks.
  6. Set up the retainer. Create a monthly subscription offer for clients finishing the package who want ongoing support. Refunds are supported if you ever need to issue one.
  7. Load the program. Start from one of the more than 40 program templates or ask Michelle to draft one, then add weekly goals, habits and morning or evening check-ins so clients have work between calls.
  8. Publish the sales page. Use a checkout funnel template, or request a white-glove build of the sales page and checkout funnel from Create. Add your Meta Pixel or GA4 if you run ads.
  9. Check the invoices. Run a test purchase with a coupon, confirm the invoice is generated and the agreement goes out, then remove the test record.

What mistakes should you avoid when chasing 0% fees?

The most common mistake is treating "no transaction fees" as "no fees". Here are the traps we see in vendor terms:

  • Confusing platform fees with processing. Every option here still pays a processor. Compare platform fees between tools, and compare processing rates between processors.
  • Missing the condition on a 0% claim. Thinkific's 0% depends on using Thinkific Payments; Kajabi adds 0.5% to 2% if you use a provider other than Kajabi Payments or PayPal. Read the fine print for your processor, not the headline.
  • Choosing a free plan with the biggest cut. Skool's Hobby plan is $9 a month but keeps 10% + 30¢ on every transaction, and fees are non-refundable. A cheap plan with a large percentage costs more once sales start.
  • Getting locked into a platform's processor. HoneyBook and Skool require their own payment processing. Moving later means moving every subscription and payment plan.
  • Saving 2% and adding three subscriptions. A fee-free booking link plus separate tools for contracts, courses and email can cost more each month than the fee you avoided. Total the stack.
  • Ignoring per-client or per-feature caps. Delenta's portal caps, Quenza's client tiers and CoachVantage's four e-signatures a month on Clarity can force an upgrade as soon as you grow.
  • Forgetting payment plans multiply fees. On a platform that does take a cut, a package split into six installments pays the percentage six times. With 0% platform fees, offering installments costs you nothing extra in platform fees.

Which coaching platform with no transaction fees should you pick?

Pick Coachful if you sell packages, programs or retainers and want the 0% platform fee to carry through to the whole stack: booking, contracts, payments, between-session delivery, courses, community, website and email in one login, with the client in one branded app. The free white-glove build takes care of the sales page or website so you can start selling quickly.

The others make sense for narrower needs. Systeme.io is the cheapest route for funnels and self-paced products. Stan Store suits social-first coaches selling calls and downloads. Acuity Scheduling and Calendly are booking layers, with Acuity the better fit when clients pay by PayPal, Square or Venmo. Paperbell, CoachVantage and Delenta handle 1:1 practice admin with PayPal as an option. Thinkific fits a large course business on its own payments, and Quenza adds worksheets beside a payment tool you already have. Frequently asked questions

What does "no transaction fees" mean on a coaching platform?

It means the software company keeps no percentage of the payments your clients make. You still pay your payment processor, such as Stripe, for each charge. Platforms that do take a cut, like Skool, Kajabi with a third-party provider, or Mighty Networks, add their percentage on top of or inside that processing cost.

Does Coachful charge a transaction fee?

No. Since August 2026 the Coachful platform fee on client payments is 0%. You connect your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, and the only deduction is that processor's fee.

Will I still pay Stripe fees on a platform with no transaction fees?

Yes. Processing fees cover the card networks and the processor itself, and no coaching software can remove them. Some platforms are their own processor (HoneyBook, Skool, Thinkific Payments), so their published card rate replaces Stripe's rather than adding to it.

Which popular coaching tools do take a percentage of sales?

As listed in October 2026: Skool keeps 10% + 30¢ on Hobby, Mighty Networks charges 0.5% to 2% by plan, Kajabi adds 0.5% to 2% when you use a provider other than Kajabi Payments or PayPal, and Kit Commerce charges 3.5% + $0.30 all-in. Thinkific adds an unlisted gateway fee if you use Stripe or PayPal instead of Thinkific Payments.

Is Systeme.io's free plan really free of transaction fees?

Its pricing page states 0% transaction fees on all plans, including Free, with only Stripe or PayPal processing. The Free plan caps you at 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels and 1 course, and it has no native 1:1 scheduling or client check-ins.

Can clients pay by PayPal in Coachful?

No. Coachful takes payments through Stripe Connect or Razorpay, including cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. If many of your clients insist on PayPal, Paperbell, CoachVantage, Delenta, Acuity Scheduling or Calendly support it.

Can I offer payment plans without paying extra fees?

On a platform with a 0% platform fee, yes: each installment only carries your processor's fee. In Coachful, payment plans, subscriptions, one-time prices, order bumps and coupons are all included in your Coachful membership.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a build service on every plan. From Create, you describe what you need, such as a sales page, checkout funnel, website, program or email sequence, and attach up to 8 links and 10 files. The Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours, without inventing credentials, testimonials or prices.

Is Coachful suitable for therapists or clinical practitioners?

No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. It is built for coaching businesses.

How do I move my payment plans to a new platform?

Plan the switch around renewal dates so no client is charged twice or missed. Our guide to switching platforms without disrupting clients walks through the order, and in Coachful clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.
