Best Contract Software for Career Coaches: Top 7 for 2026

Best Contract Software for Career Coaches: Top 7 for 2026

The best contract software for career coaches gets a signed agreement back before the first resume review. That agreement should cover the scope, the number of revision rounds, the fact that you do not guarantee a job offer, and the payment schedule, and then it should stay attached to the client while you work together. Most e-signature tools stop once the PDF is signed. Career coaching packages keep going for weeks after that: interview prep, LinkedIn rewrites, salary negotiation calls. So the deciding question is whether the contract tool also runs the rest of the client journey, or leaves you copying data between four apps.

Our pick is Coachful. The coaching agreement, the booking page, the payment plan, the job-search program and the client's branded app sit under one login, and the signed agreement lives on the same client record as the sessions and check-ins. We make Coachful, so weigh that while you read. Every competitor price below is as listed on that vendor's pricing page in October 2026, and we say plainly where each tool beats ours.

What do career coaches need from contract software?

Career coaches need contracts that pin down deliverables and outcomes, because clients often arrive expecting a job by a certain date. A generic freelance contract doesn't cover a three-month job search with a resume rewrite, five mock interviews and a negotiation call.

These are the clauses and workflows that come up again and again in career coaching:

  • No placement guarantee. You coach the search; the employer makes the hire. The contract should say so clearly, because "I didn't get the job" is the most common reason a career client asks for a refund.
  • Deliverable scope and revision rounds. Resumes, cover letters and LinkedIn profiles are tangible documents. State how many drafts are included, how quickly you turn edits around, and what counts as a new document (a second resume aimed at a different role, for example).
  • Early-success terms. Some clients land an offer in week four of a twelve-week package. Decide in advance whether unused sessions roll into onboarding coaching for the new role, convert to a credit, or simply lapse.
  • Third-party payers. Outplacement and employer-sponsored coaching put three parties in play: the employer pays, the employee is the client, and confidentiality has to be spelled out. The ICF Code of Ethics asks coaches to make sure both clients and sponsors understand the agreement, confidentiality limits and financial arrangements at or before the first meeting (ICF Code of Ethics).
  • Payment plans. Many of your clients are between jobs. Splitting a package into monthly payments, with the schedule written into the agreement, can make the difference between a signed client and a "maybe later".
  • Confidentiality about the current employer. People job-hunting while still employed need to know their search stays private, including what you write in session notes.
  • Ownership of materials. The client owns the finished resume. You keep your templates, frameworks and worksheets. Say that in writing.
  • Recording consent. If you record mock interviews so clients can review their answers, get consent in the agreement.

Electronic signatures are generally valid for this kind of agreement. In the US the ESIGN Act gives e-signatures legal effect for most commercial contracts (ESIGN Act overview), and in the EU the eIDAS regulation does the same job (eIDAS overview). Some states also regulate businesses that charge job seekers for placement or job-listing services, so if your offer includes introductions to employers, have an attorney check the wording. Nothing here is legal advice: laws vary by state and country, and a local lawyer should review your template once. For a starting point, use our career coaching contract template or the contract generator.

The software side follows from those clauses. You want reusable templates per package, e-signature before the first session, a payment schedule that matches the contract, and a record you can find quickly when a client disputes scope six weeks later. The general workflow is covered in our coaching contract management guide. This article sticks to what career coaches need.

Which contract tools for career coaches are worth a look? The at-a-glance table

Here are the seven picks on one screen. The prices are each vendor's own list prices in October 2026.

Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey from signed agreement to job offer, delivery between sessions (programs, check-ins, documents), total stack cost, and setup effort, including whether someone will build it for you.

How did we choose and rank these tools?

We started from the clauses above and asked which tools let a career coach send a package-specific agreement, collect a signature and payment, and then deliver the package without switching systems. We read each vendor's pricing page and product documentation, and for 17hats we fetched the pricing page on the day of writing. We did not run hands-on tests. Where a fact comes from an older vendor profile or from what public reviewers report, we say so.

We weighed four things:

  1. Contract workflow. Templates, e-signature, and whether the agreement goes out before the first booked call.
  2. What happens after signing. Can the client see their sessions, homework and documents in one place, or does the tool stop at "paid and signed"?
  3. Total cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients, including the other tools you would still need for courses, community or email.
  4. Setup effort. How long it takes to have a working agreement, booking page and checkout live.

Direct coaching-platform substitutes (Paperbell and CoachVantage) rank in the middle because they overlap most with Coachful. HoneyBook and Dubsado rank above them because their contract and proposal tooling is mature and widely used by service businesses, even though neither delivers coaching. Bonsai and 17hats are solid paperwork tools with the least career-coaching fit.

1. Coachful: why does it top the list for career coaches?

Coachful ranks first because the coaching agreement is one step in a client journey that keeps going: the client signs before the first call, pays on the schedule in the contract, books sessions, works through a job-search program, and messages you from your branded app. Each of those steps writes to the same client record.

Coachful's client portal with its Documents tab on the tablet and the coach's Offers page on the laptop, both demo data.

What Coachful is. Coachful is a coaching platform. One membership covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login and the client has one branded app. It suits career coaches who deliver programs rather than one-off sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and anyone replacing four to six tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and has a Trustpilot score of 4.5 from 21 reviews.

How agreements work for a career package

Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call, and the signed copy is stored on the client record. When a client says in week seven that you promised unlimited resume drafts, the agreement sits next to their session history, notes and payments, so you don't have to search an inbox for it. You can also drop in a signed PDF from an older system, which helps when you bring existing clients across.

The intake comes before the agreement. Booking pages can ask intake questions (target role, current employer, timeline, salary range), and the Intakes page tracks discovery calls through to conversion. Your conversion rate from consult to signed client is visible on one screen. The short walkthrough below shows the intake side.

Payments that match the contract

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with one-time charges, subscriptions, payment plans, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus Stripe Tax. If your agreement sets three monthly installments for a job-search package, you build that exact plan at checkout. Each transaction produces an invoice, and you can raise manual invoices for an outplacement sponsor who pays by invoice. Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026, so you only pay Stripe or Razorpay processing. There is no PayPal option.

Delivering the package after signing

This is the part pure contract tools skip. A career package becomes a multi-week program with weekly goals (week one: positioning statement; week three: ten tailored applications), daily tasks, habits such as "two networking messages a day", and morning or evening check-ins. Goals carry progress bars and streaks. Resume drafts, interview question banks and salary-research worksheets go into the client's Documents tab. The client sees their next mock interview and any required pre-session work in the same app.

Client coaching hub showing the next session, tabs including Documents, and required pre-session work
The client's coaching hub in demo data: next session, tabs for Programs, Sessions, Progress and Documents, and pre-session work.

Booking covers the details that matter for job seekers who often still work full time: availability rules, buffers, minimum notice, time-zone detection, two-way sync with Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendars, and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Email reminders go out by default, and once messaging is enabled you can add SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp one hour before. Session credits let a package include, say, six calls that the client books as their interviews come up.

The rest of the stack is included in your Coachful membership too: a website with funnels for a resume-checklist lead magnet, email sequences, courses (a self-paced "LinkedIn in a weekend" course, for example), a community for a job-seekers cohort, and Michelle, the AI assistant, who briefs you before each session from the client's live data. If you are working toward an ICF credential, Coachful counts your coaching hours and clients against the ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports a client coaching log (see ICF hour tracking).

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, the "We'll build it for you · FREE" option lets you describe what you need, such as a career-coaching website, a resume-review funnel, a job-search program or an email sequence, and attach up to 8 reference links and 10 files (logo, headshot, existing contract wording, brand guide). The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices; any gaps are left for you to fill in. One recent example: a leadership coach whose Squarespace renewal was days away got a clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. Recording videos, logo design and ad management are not included. Details are on the white-glove service page.

What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified, there is no PayPal, and there is no permanent free plan. The client app runs under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no multi-stage sales deal board for large teams, no Salesforce or HubSpot integration, and no routing forms that pick a host from form answers.

Price: flat monthly plans; lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and monthly plans cancel in one click (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). 2. HoneyBook: is a proposal-first CRM enough for career coaching?

HoneyBook works well if your sales process starts with a proposal. You send a package quote, the client accepts, signs the contract and pays the first invoice in one flow. For a career coach selling a "promotion-ready" package to a mid-career professional, that single acceptance step feels polished.

HoneyBook homepage introducing its client management software for service businesses
HoneyBook's homepage in October 2026.

HoneyBook is a client-management CRM for service businesses, covering proposals, contracts, invoices, a scheduler and a client portal. Contracts sit at the center of that flow, next to proposals and invoices. For a career coach who sells three fixed packages (resume only, resume plus LinkedIn, full search), that template library saves time.

Listed prices (October 2026): Starter is $29/mo billed annually; the monthly Starter price was not shown on the pricing page when we checked. Essentials is $59/mo ($49/mo annually) and Premium is $129/mo ($109/mo annually). Every plan includes unlimited clients and projects. The trial is 30 days with no credit card required.

Limits for career coaches. The scheduler and automations are not on Starter, so a coach who books discovery calls and mock interviews realistically needs Essentials. Payments must run through HoneyBook's own processing, and the pricing page lists card fees inconsistently ("2.7% + 10¢" in the FAQ and "2.9% + 25¢" in the plan comparison), so confirm before you compare. Most importantly, HoneyBook does not deliver coaching. There are no programs, courses, habits, check-ins or community, so the 12 weeks after signing happen somewhere else. HoneyBook has a Trustpilot score of 4.1 from 748 reviews (seen October 2026).

Pick it over Coachful if you mostly sell done-for-you resume and LinkedIn writing projects rather than coaching programs, and a proposal-to-contract-to-invoice flow is all you need.

3. Dubsado: which career coaches benefit from its workflow automation?

Dubsado suits career coaches who like to automate every piece of paperwork. A booked consult can trigger the intake questionnaire, then the contract, then the invoice, then a reminder if the contract is still unsigned after three days.

Dubsado homepage introducing its client workflow and paperwork automation software
Dubsado's homepage in October 2026.

Dubsado is a client-workflow CRM with forms, contracts, invoices, a scheduler and automated workflows. For career coaching, the workflows are the draw: you can build one sequence for a self-paying client (client agreement plus invoice) and another for an outplacement client whose employer pays. The forms are flexible enough for a detailed career-history questionnaire.

Listed prices (October 2026): Starter is $35/mo ($27.92/mo annually) with unlimited clients and projects but only one active lead-capture form. Premier is $55/mo ($43.75/mo annually) with unlimited lead forms. The trial is 21 days of full Premier access without a credit card. Dubsado states no platform fee of its own; your processor's rates apply, and optional surcharging lets you pass card costs on to the client.

Where it falls short. Starter has no scheduler or automations, which takes away the main reason to choose Dubsado, so plan on Premier. Dubsado says it does not include website building and is not an email marketing platform. The mobile app is a companion app, and full functionality needs the desktop web app. There are no courses, client community, habits or check-ins, so you can't deliver an interview-prep curriculum or track daily applications inside it.

Pick it over Coachful if automating complex, branching paperwork is your main problem and you already have a separate home for program delivery, your website and email.

4. Paperbell: does a coach-specific admin tool cover career packages?

Paperbell is built for solo coaches and handles the core career-coaching sale cleanly. A client picks a package, signs your contract, pays, and books sessions from a simple portal.

Paperbell homepage introducing its all-in-one admin software for solo coaches
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

Paperbell covers booking, packages, payments, contracts, a client portal and a simple website. For a career coach, the package model fits well: a "90-day job search" package can bundle a set number of sessions with a contract and payment terms,. File sharing in the portal is handy for resume drafts.

Listed price (October 2026): one plan at $97/mo ($80.83/mo annually) with unlimited clients, sessions, files, packages and traffic. There are no additional transaction fees from Paperbell; Stripe or PayPal processing fees apply. A "Try For Free" button is on the pricing page, but the trial length is not. An older help-center profile describes a 7-day trial with the public site offline and client messages and SMS turned off. Paperbell offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Gaps to weigh. According to our older vendor profile, Paperbell has no courses or LMS, no community, and no goal or habit tracking. Between sessions, a job seeker can't log applications, follow weekly goals or join a cohort inside it. There is no native mobile app; clients use the mobile browser. At one price for every coach, it costs the same at 3 clients as at 30. If you are comparing directly, see Paperbell alternatives. Paperbell has a Trustpilot score of 3.5 from 14 reviews (seen October 2026).

Pick it over Coachful if you run strictly 1:1 session packages, never plan to add a course or cohort, and want the simplest possible coach portal with PayPal checkout.

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

5. CoachVantage: how far do its e-signature caps stretch?

CoachVantage is a coaching practice management tool with contracts and e-signature built in, along with a CRM, scheduling, invoices, a client portal, group programs and small courses. It overlaps closely with what career coaches need, but the entry plan's caps bite quickly in a busy hiring season.

CoachVantage homepage introducing its coaching practice management platform
CoachVantage's homepage in October 2026.

For career coaches, CoachVantage's mix is appealing: e-signed agreements, engagement tracking per client, and group programs with cohorts for a job-search accelerator. Unlimited engagements on both plans mean you can run several sponsor-funded and self-paying clients side by side.

Listed prices (October 2026): Clarity is $39/mo ($35/mo annually) with unlimited contacts and engagements, but only 2 group programs, 2 sales pages, 2 booking pages, 4 e-signatures a month, 2 contract templates, 2 courses and 500 MB of storage. Aha! is $59/mo ($53/mo annually) with unlimited group programs, sales pages, booking pages and e-signatures, 5 contract templates, 5 courses and 1 GB. The trial is 14 days with no credit card. CoachVantage takes no commission on your revenue; Stripe or PayPal fees apply.

The caps in practice. Four e-signatures a month means signing a fifth new client in a busy January sends you to Aha!. Two contract templates is tight if you sell a resume package, a full search package and a sponsored outplacement agreement. Our older vendor profile notes no team or multi-coach features, and public reviewers describe the built-in video (CVMeet) as weak, with many users still running sessions on Zoom.

Pick it over Coachful if you specifically want a coaching CRM organized around "engagements" for sponsor-funded work and you're happy to keep habits, community and your marketing website elsewhere.

6. Bonsai: when does a freelancer suite fit a career coach?

Bonsai makes sense for the career coach who is half consultant: you write resumes for hire, run paid workshops for university career centers, or bill corporate clients by the hour. Its proposals, contracts, invoices and time tracking are built for that kind of project work.

Bonsai homepage introducing its business management software for freelancers
Bonsai's homepage in October 2026.

Bonsai is business-management software for freelancers and agencies, covering proposals, contracts, invoices, time tracking and projects. A coach who quotes a fixed-fee resume project, tracks hours on a corporate outplacement contract, and invoices both from one place will find it tidy.

Listed prices (October 2026), all per user: Basic $15/mo ($9/mo annually), Essentials $25/mo ($19/mo annually), Premium $39/mo ($29/mo annually) and Elite $59/mo ($49/mo annually, minimum 3 users). The trial is 7 days of full access, and a card is not required to start. Basic has no invoicing or payments, so for a coach who gets paid, Essentials is the practical floor. On fees, the pricing page sends you to the help center; an older profile lists Bonsai Payments at 2.9% + $0.30 for cards, plus a 1% platform fee if you use your own Stripe or PayPal where Bonsai Payments is available. We could not re-read that help article today, so treat those numbers as unconfirmed.

What's missing for coaching. There are no courses, community, client habits, check-ins or coaching programs. A custom domain was marked "expected in 2026" on the pricing page. Per-user pricing also adds up if you bring on an associate coach. Bonsai has a Trustpilot score of 4.3 from 641 reviews (seen October 2026).

Pick it over Coachful if most of your revenue comes from billable resume-writing or consulting projects tracked by the hour, and coaching programs are a small side line.

7. 17hats: is one flat plan the simplest route to signed contracts?

17hats sells one all-inclusive plan for small businesses that covers contracts with e-signature, quotes, invoices and questionnaires. Its appeal for a career coach is simple: one bill, unlimited contacts, and automated paperwork.

The contract tools are straightforward. You customize a contract template, email it, and the client signs electronically. Questionnaires can screen leads before a consult, and with Stripe or Square connected, clients pay invoices online. Document templates mean your "resume plus interview prep" agreement is ready to reuse.

Listed prices (pricing page fetched October 2026): $60/month, $600/year or $800 for two years. A 7-day free trial is offered and can be restarted, and there's a 30-day money-back guarantee. The page also ran a sale offering 50% off the first year (a $300 yearly or $400 two-year plan) when you skip the trial. Bank connect costs $5/month extra. The same page still shows a comparison grid with three tiers (Essentials, Standard, Premier) and monthly document limits of 20, 35 and unlimited, where contracts, quotes, invoices and questionnaires all count as documents. Ask 17hats which limit applies to the single plan before you commit. Some features in that grid, such as document reminders and payment schedules, are not available on the lowest tier.

Trade-offs. 17hats is a small-business organizer, not a coaching platform. There are no coaching programs, courses or client community documented on the pricing page, and we did not check its scheduler for this article. If a document cap applies, a busy month with an intake questionnaire, contract and two invoices per new client would hit 20 documents quickly.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a flat-priced back-office organizer with Square as a payment option and you deliver your coaching entirely in other tools.

How do the features compare side by side?

What does each option cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

The figures are monthly list prices on monthly billing (annual where that's the only price shown), using the plan a career coach would realistically need: one with a scheduler, payments and enough e-signatures. They cover the contract tool alone. Every tool except Coachful still leaves you paying separately for courses, a community, email marketing and usually a website, which the last column flags.

HoneyBook requires its own processing, and Bonsai adds a 1% fee if you use your own processor (older profile, unconfirmed today). How does a career coach set up contracts in Coachful, step by step?

Here's an example setup for a coach selling a 12-week job-search package with an optional payment plan. The package details are illustrative; set the price from your own costs, hours and market.

  1. Write the agreement once. Start from the career coaching contract template. Add your no-placement-guarantee clause, three resume revision rounds, a 48-hour turnaround on edits, early-success terms (unused sessions convert to new-role onboarding calls within 60 days), recording consent for mock interviews, and confidentiality covering the client's current employer. Have a lawyer in your jurisdiction review it.
  2. Create the offer. On the Offers page, set up "12-Week Job Search" with a one-time price and a three-installment payment plan through your Stripe Connect account. Add a coupon for referrals from a university alumni group if you have one.
  3. Build the booking page for discovery calls. Set availability rules for evenings (many clients still work), a 15-minute buffer, 24 hours' minimum notice and time-zone detection. Add intake questions: target role, current title, search timeline, and whether an employer is paying.
  4. Attach the agreement so it goes out before the first call. Set the coaching agreement to go out for e-signature before session one; the signed copy is stored on the client record next to their intake answers.
  5. Set session credits. Include, for example, eight calls: two strategy calls, three mock interviews, two resume reviews and one negotiation call. The client books each one when they need it.
  6. Load the program. Week one: positioning and target companies. Weeks two to four: resume and LinkedIn. Weeks five to ten: applications and interviews, with a daily habit ("two networking messages") and an evening check-in. Weeks eleven and twelve: negotiation and first 90 days. Ask Michelle to draft the program outline, then edit it.
  7. Upload documents. Put your interview question bank, salary-research worksheet and resume template in the client's Documents tab.
  8. Handle sponsored clients. For an outplacement contract, raise a manual invoice to the employer and use a separate sponsor agreement that spells out what the sponsor will and won't see.
  9. Review weekly. Client statuses (thriving, active, quiet, at risk) flag a job seeker who has gone silent after a rejection, so you can step in before they ask for a refund.

If you'd rather not build this yourself, describe it in the white-glove request form and attach your contract wording and logo. More on agreements specifically is on the coaching contracts page, and scheduling choices are compared in best scheduling software for career coaches.

Which contract mistakes do career coaches make most often?

Most disputes in career coaching come down to expectations about outcomes and deliverables. These are the mistakes to avoid:

  • Implying a job guarantee in marketing copy. A contract clause won't help much if your sales page says "land your dream job in 90 days". Keep the promise about the process, not the hire.
  • Unlimited revisions. "Unlimited resume edits" turns a 12-week package into a year of tweaks. Set a number of rounds and a definition of a new document.
  • No early-success clause. When a client gets an offer in week three, you need terms already agreed for the remaining sessions and installments.
  • Treating sponsor and client as one party. In employer-paid coaching, decide in writing what progress the sponsor receives. Most clients won't open up if they think their manager reads the notes.
  • Collecting signatures after the first session. Send the agreement before the first call, every time. Build it into your onboarding sequence so it never depends on memory.
  • Keeping contracts away from the client record. A signed PDF in a downloads folder is hard to find when a scope question comes up. Keep it with the sessions and payments.
  • Payment terms that don't match checkout. If the contract says three installments and checkout charges the full amount, you've created a dispute on day one.
  • Paying for a contract tool you'll outgrow in months. Caps on e-signatures, documents or templates look harmless at five clients and get expensive by your busiest month.

What's the verdict for career coaches?

For most career coaches, Coachful is the strongest choice. Agreements with e-signature, payment plans, intake-driven booking, job-search programs with habits and check-ins, and a branded client app all live under one login, and the free white-glove service can build the setup for you. HoneyBook and Dubsado are mature paperwork tools if you only need proposals, contracts and invoices and already deliver your coaching elsewhere. Paperbell and CoachVantage are the closest coach-specific substitutes, with Paperbell's single price and CoachVantage's e-signature caps as the trade-offs. Bonsai fits coaches who bill project or hourly work, and 17hats suits coaches who want one flat back-office plan. If you work with executives rather than job seekers, the clauses change; see contract software for executive coaches and contract software for business coaches.

Frequently asked questions

Do career coaches legally need a written contract?

Requirements vary by state and country, but a written agreement is standard practice and the ICF Code of Ethics expects agreements on confidentiality and financial terms to be clear at or before the first meeting. A written contract is also your main protection when a client disputes scope or asks for a refund after a job search stalls. Have a local lawyer review your template once.

Are e-signatures valid for coaching agreements?

In most places, yes. The US ESIGN Act and the EU eIDAS regulation give electronic signatures legal effect for ordinary commercial agreements like coaching contracts. Check with an attorney if you coach clients in a country with specific rules.

What should a career coaching contract say about job outcomes?

It should state clearly that you do not guarantee a job offer, interview or salary, and that hiring decisions rest with employers. Describe what you will deliver instead: sessions, document drafts, revision rounds and support between sessions.

How should I handle employer-sponsored or outplacement clients?

Use a sponsor agreement alongside the client agreement. Spell out who pays, what reports the sponsor receives, and what stays confidential between you and the client. Invoice the sponsor directly; Coachful supports manual invoices for this.

Can I offer payment plans to job seekers?

Yes, and many career coaches do because clients are often between jobs. In Coachful you set up payment plans through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account. Write the same schedule into the agreement so the contract and checkout match.

Is Coachful's white-glove build service really free?

Yes. The white-glove build service is free on every plan. You describe what you want, attach links and files, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.

Can I bring signed contracts from my old system into Coachful?

Yes. The Agreements tab accepts a signed PDF dropped onto a client record, and clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. You can also export all client data as a ZIP if you ever leave.

Does Coachful accept PayPal for coaching packages?

No. Coachful takes payments through Stripe Connect or Razorpay, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. If PayPal checkout matters to your clients, Paperbell and CoachVantage both list it.

Which tool is cheapest for a new career coach with a few clients?

On list price alone, Bonsai Essentials and CoachVantage Clarity have the lowest entry points among the paid tools here, but both leave program delivery, community and marketing to other apps. Compare the total stack, not one subscription. Coachful's entry plan is listed at Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients.

Can Coachful track ICF hours from contracted clients?

Yes. Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours. That's useful for career coaches working toward a credential while building their practice.
