The 12 Best Course Platforms for NLP Coaches, Compared

The best course platforms for NLP coaches do more than host videos. An NLP coach usually sells three things at once: a self-paced foundations course, live breakthrough or change-work sessions, and a multi-week program where the client practises anchors, reframes and new strategies every day. The deciding question is simple: can one platform carry a client from the free taster lesson, through the booked session, into the weeks of daily practice that make the change stick?
For most NLP coaches our pick is Coachful, because the course, the booking page, the coaching agreement, the daily check-ins and the client community all live behind one login. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read the eleven alternatives below: several are better at one narrow job, and we say exactly when to pick them instead.
This guide ranks 12 tools, compares features and cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients, and walks through a full NLP setup step by step. If you are still choosing your wider stack, start with our broader guide to the best platform for NLP coaches.
What do NLP coaches actually need from a course platform?
NLP coaches need a platform that teaches a technique, schedules the session where it is applied, and then keeps the client practising it until the new pattern holds. A plain video library covers only the first of those jobs.
Look at how a typical NLP practice is shaped. Most coaches sell a mix of the following:
- A foundations course. Modules on rapport, representational systems, the meta model, anchoring, reframing and well-formed outcomes, usually as short videos plus worksheets.
- Breakthrough or change-work sessions. A 90-minute or half-day session for a specific limiting belief, a timeline exercise or a confidence state, often booked after an application.
- A multi-week program. Six to twelve weeks where the client fires an anchor before a presentation, writes three reframes each evening or rehearses a new strategy, and reports back.
- Group trainings and practice circles. Cohorts that drill techniques in pairs, often on video calls, with a place to share wins.
That mix creates specific demands. Techniques like anchoring and swish patterns rely on repetition; learning research on the spacing effect is one reason a drip schedule and daily prompts beat a one-time video dump. The client journey also crosses formats: someone watches a free lesson on reframing, books a breakthrough call, signs an agreement, then joins a program. If each step sits in a different tool, the coach spends evenings copying names between systems.
Scope: where NLP coaching ends. NLP techniques are often marketed for phobias, anxiety and trauma, and that is where course content needs care. Coaching is not treatment. The research base for NLP is contested, as the overview of neuro-linguistic programming summarises, so avoid outcome promises in course copy. Put a scope line in your intake and agreement, and refer out when a client reports suicidal thoughts, a diagnosed mental illness, trauma symptoms that disrupt daily life, an eating disorder or substance dependence. The US National Institute of Mental Health keeps a page on how to find help you can link in your welcome materials. No coaching platform in this list, Coachful included, is built for clinical records, so keep anything clinical out of it.
Many NLP practitioners also hold or pursue an ICF credential, and the ICF Core Competencies shape how sessions are run. A platform that logs coaching hours saves real admin if that is your path.

How did we choose these 12 platforms?
We started from the jobs an NLP coach does every week and scored each tool on what its vendor documents and what public reviewers report. We did not run paid accounts on each platform; prices come from each vendor's pricing page, as listed in October 2026 unless we say otherwise.
- Course delivery: modules, lessons, drip release and completion tracking for a foundations or practitioner-style course.
- The session in the middle: whether a client can book and pay for a breakthrough session without a separate booking tool.
- Between-session practice: daily tasks, habits or check-ins that keep anchoring and reframing work alive after the call.
- Group work: cohorts, community spaces and live calls for practice triads.
- Total cost: the platform plus any transaction fees and the extra tools you would still need.
- Setup effort: templates, migration help and how long it takes to get a first offer live.
Tools built only for marketplaces, or that do not let you own your client list, were left out.
1. Coachful: one home for the course, the session and the daily practice

Coachful is a coaching platform where courses are one part of a full client journey. One membership covers booking, payments, coaching agreements, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login; the client gets one app with the coach's branding inside the Coachful app. It suits coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, and coaches tired of paying for four to six separate tools.
For an NLP coach, the course builder handles the teaching layer. You create modules and lessons, set drip release so the anchoring module opens a week after the rapport module, and track completion. Lessons can carry video, downloads and worksheets. There are 48 course templates with quizzes and more than 40 ready-to-film program templates, so you are rarely starting from a blank page.

The bigger difference is what happens after the lesson. Coachful programs run for weeks with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. That maps neatly onto NLP homework: a daily task to fire a confidence anchor before the first meeting, an evening check-in that asks for three reframes, a habit streak for a visualisation practice. Each answer lands on the client record, next to intake answers, notes, sessions and payments, and every client shows a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you notice who stopped practising before the next call.

Breakthrough sessions sit in the same system. Booking pages carry availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync. Calls run on built-in video or an auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams link. You can ask intake questions at booking, sell paid sessions or session credits, and send a coaching agreement with e-signature before the first call, which is where your scope line belongs (see coaching contracts). Payments go through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, coupons and order bumps, and Coachful charges a 0% platform fee on top of processing.

For trainings and practice triads, enrolling a client in a program automatically creates a cohort group, and there is a community feed, group chat, direct messages, video events, group calls and webinars. Selling happens on a section-based website with blog and custom domain, plus booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels. A free "five reframes in five days" mini-course can feed an application funnel for the breakthrough session, with email sequences that branch on what the lead does.
Two features matter to NLP coaches on a credential path. ICF credential tracking counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours (more on ICF hour tracking). Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data: she drafts program outlines and emails, summarises recorded sessions, briefs you before a call, and can give optional private feedback on your coaching against ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8. Questions and planning are included in the membership; confirmed builds use AI credits.

Here is a short tour of how programs are built and delivered:
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, then "We'll build it for you", you describe what you want, such as a website, a foundations course outline, an application funnel for breakthrough sessions or a six-week change program, and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files like your logo, photos and existing copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not include recording your videos, logo design or ad management. One recent example: a somatic coach leaving Kajabi had their homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected. Read more about the free white-glove service.

What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified, so clinical notes belong in a clinical system. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan, though there is a free trial. It is not a course marketplace, so it will not send you students. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. Affiliate payouts are recorded manually.
Price: flat monthly plans, with lower plans capping the number of clients and Pro unlimited (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Coachful holds a Trustpilot score of 4.5 from 21 reviews. See how it handles courses on the online course platform for coaches page.
2. Kajabi: the established choice for a signature NLP training

Kajabi is a course, community, website, funnel and email platform for selling knowledge products. NLP trainers who run a flagship online practitioner-style course with a big launch each quarter tend to like it, because the sales pages, checkout, email and course player are all in one product and well known.
Where it fits an NLP business: a structured multi-module course with a community attached, a launch funnel, and email to a list of a few thousand. Its coaching model is product and community based, so a group drill circle or a membership works well.
Where it falls short: Kajabi has no habit tracking or daily client check-ins, and there is no per-client plan for someone working through a phobia-free-presentation goal over eight weeks. Booking a breakthrough session usually means another tool. The entry plan is restrictive for a growing catalogue.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Basic $179/mo ($143/mo billed annually) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community and 0 AI credits; Growth $249/mo ($199/mo annually) with 50 products and 25,000 contacts; Pro $499/mo ($399/mo annually). Kajabi Payments in the US costs 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, and using another processor (other than PayPal) adds a Kajabi fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth and 0.5% on Pro. There is a 14-day trial. Kajabi's Trustpilot score was 3.4 from 2,347 reviews when we looked.
Pick it over Coachful if your business is mainly a large launched course plus a community, you already have a separate booking tool you love, and you do not need daily practice tracking per client.
3. LearnWorlds: when the course itself needs to feel like a training
LearnWorlds is an LMS with a website builder, funnels, SCORM support and interactive video. NLP trainers who want lessons with in-video questions, for example pausing a demo of the meta model to ask which violation the client just heard, will find the learning tools deeper than most coaching platforms.
That depth makes sense for an NLP coach running a longer, assessment-heavy training. It makes less sense for one-to-one change work. LearnWorlds is not built for 1:1 client management, habits or check-ins, and monthly active-learner caps (1,000 on Starter, 2,000 on Pro Trainer) apply on self-serve plans. A branded mobile app is a separately priced add-on.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Starter $29/mo ($24/mo annually) with 1 admin and a $5 fee per paid enrollment; Pro Trainer $99/mo ($79/mo annually) with 5 admins, 2,000 active learners a month and no LearnWorlds fee; Learning Center $299/mo ($249/mo annually). Stripe or PayPal gateway fees apply on top. There is a 30-day free trial, and LearnWorlds pages say no credit card is required. Its Trustpilot score was 4.8 from 423 reviews.
The $5 per-enrollment fee on Starter adds up fast if you sell a low-priced taster course in volume, so most coaches selling more than a handful of courses a month would move to Pro Trainer. You would still need a booking tool for breakthrough sessions and a way to follow up on daily practice.
Pick it over Coachful if you run a long, quiz-heavy online training where interactive video and SCORM matter more than one-to-one programs, and you are happy to bolt on booking separately.
4. Thinkific: built for a catalogue of self-paced courses

Thinkific is a course platform with communities, memberships and coaching or webinar products. If your NLP offer is a library of short courses, say one on rapport, one on the meta model and one on reframing, all sold separately to a large audience, Thinkific handles that catalogue cleanly and allows up to 10,000 current students on its entry plan.
The trade-off is the human side. Thinkific has no built-in 1:1 scheduling (coaching relies on external booking links), no client habits, no daily check-ins and no per-client plans. A branded mobile app is a $199/mo add-on. Thinkific also raised prices by about 10% on August 13, 2026.
Prices as listed in October 2026: Start $109/mo ($82/mo annually) with 2 admins, 1 community and 5 live community events; Grow $219/mo ($164/mo annually) with 6 admins and 3 communities; Expand $499/mo ($374/mo annually); Plus is custom. Thinkific charges 0% transaction fees on Thinkific Payments, with processing around 2.9%; third-party gateways carry an extra per-plan fee it does not list. Every self-serve plan has a 30-day free trial. Thinkific's Trustpilot score was 1.8 from 868 reviews, a low score worth reading before you commit.
Pick it over Coachful if you sell many standalone courses to a large audience, rarely run one-to-one sessions, and need a high student ceiling more than client follow-up.
5. Mighty Networks: for NLP practice circles that live in a community
Mighty Networks is community-first software with courses, events and memberships. It fits NLP coaches whose main product is a membership where members practise together: weekly calibration drills, a monthly theme on submodalities, live Q&A calls. Courses sit inside the community rather than the other way round.
Pricing on its pricing page when we checked in November 2026: Launch $79/mo (or $950 a year) with community, courses and basic automations; Scale $179/mo, which adds programs, more automations and third-party integrations; Growth $354/mo with advanced automations and priority support; Mighty Pro with branded apps is quoted on request. Transaction fees are 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro. There is a 14-day trial with no credit card required.
For NLP coaches, the gap is the one-to-one layer. Its pricing page does not describe 1:1 booking, coaching agreements or per-client check-ins, so a breakthrough-session business would still need booking, contracts and a client record elsewhere. The 2% fee on Launch also matters if your membership grows.
Where Mighty shines is engagement inside a group. If your clients come for the community of fellow practitioners, and the course is the excuse to show up, it is a strong home for that. Coachful also has a community feed, cohort groups and video events (see community platform for coaches), but Mighty is the more community-centric product.
Pick it over Coachful if your NLP business is mainly a paid practice community, one-to-one work is rare, and you want a community-first experience above all.
6. Practice Better: practitioner tooling borrowed from health practices

Practice Better is client management software built for health and wellness practitioners: scheduling, telehealth video, billing, secure messaging, a client portal, forms and note templates. Some NLP coaches who also work alongside health professionals use it because it feels like a practice system rather than a course shop.
On the course side it is thinner. Self-paced programs only appear from the Plus plan; Professional adds fixed-date programs and group scheduling. Its pricing page lists group messaging but no community space of the kind NLP practice groups use, and the product leans clinical, with add-ons for ePrescribing and AI charting that an NLP coach will never use.
Prices on its pricing page when we checked in November 2026 (monthly billing): Starter $35/mo for 10 clients; Professional $69/mo for 300 clients; Plus $99/mo with unlimited clients, self-paced programs, portal branding and SMS reminders; Team $155/mo for two practitioner licenses. A free Sprout plan supports 3 clients. Paid plans come with a 14-day trial, and Team with 30 days.
The client caps are the main thing to watch. An NLP coach selling a self-paced course to more than ten people would need Plus for the self-paced format, so the realistic price for a course-plus-coaching business is the Plus tier rather than Starter.
Pick it over Coachful if you work inside a health practice, need practitioner-style charting and secure messaging, and courses are a small side of the business.
7. Teachable: straightforward course sales on a small budget

Teachable is a course and digital-product platform with student mobile apps. Its strength is simplicity: upload your NLP foundations videos, add a sales page and start selling. Students are listed as unlimited even on Starter.
For a change-work business it leaves gaps. Teachable has no native scheduling or calendar sync, so coaching calls rely on separate booking and video tools, and there are no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans. The Starter plan takes a 7.5% transaction fee, which hurts on a higher-priced practitioner course.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Starter $39/mo ($29/mo annually) with 5 products and a 7.5% fee; Builder $89/mo ($69/mo annually) with 10 products and 0% platform fee; Growth $189/mo ($139/mo annually) with 50 products and 5 admins. Teachable Payments processing is 2.9% + 30¢ on US cards. Plan cards show a 7-day free trial plus a 30-day guarantee. Teachable's Trustpilot score was 3.3 from 1,110 reviews.
Run the numbers before staying on Starter: on a $500 course, 7.5% is $37.50 per sale, so a few sales a month already cost more than the jump to Builder.
Pick it over Coachful if you only want to sell one or two recorded NLP courses, need nothing between sessions, and want the simplest course checkout possible.
8. Podia: a friendly storefront for a small NLP catalogue

Podia is a simple storefront for courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and community. NLP coaches just starting out like how quickly a reframing mini-course, a downloadable anchoring script and a paid call can sit side by side on one page.
It stays simple in ways that matter later. Podia has no mobile app and no native video calls, and there are no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans. Email allowances are small: 100 subscribers included on Mover, 500 on Shaker and 1,000 on Earthquaker, which an NLP coach running a free taster course will outgrow quickly.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Mover $49/mo ($42/mo annually) with a 5% Podia fee; Shaker $99/mo ($84/mo annually) with 0% fee and 1 assistant; Earthquaker $179/mo ($150/mo annually) with unlimited products. Stripe or PayPal processing applies on top. The trial is 14 days with full access and no card required. Its Trustpilot score was 4.1 from 153 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if you want a tidy shop for a handful of digital products and occasional calls, and you do not plan to run multi-week programs with daily practice.
9. Kartra: funnels first, course second

Kartra is an all-in-one marketing suite: pages, funnels, email and SMS, memberships, calendars and a helpdesk. NLP coaches who sell through webinars and long email sequences, and who think in terms of funnels, get a lot of marketing machinery in one account.
The course, though, is a membership area inside that machine. Kartra has no client habits, check-ins or per-client coaching plans, and no mobile app for students or admins. Its entry plan is tight: 500 contacts, 5 pages, 1 product, 1 membership and a 5% transaction fee. Funnels and memberships are not portable to other platforms, which matters if you ever move.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Essentials $59/mo ($52/mo annually); Starter $119/mo ($99/mo annually) with 2,500 contacts, unlimited pages and memberships and 0% fee; Growth $229/mo ($189/mo annually) with 12,500 contacts; Professional $549/mo ($429/mo annually). There is a 14-day free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Kartra's Trustpilot score was 3.2 from 129 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if your NLP business runs on paid traffic, webinars and SMS follow-up, and you value marketing automation more than delivery between sessions.
10. Skool: a low-cost classroom and community
Skool combines a community feed, a classroom for courses and a calendar for live calls. NLP coaches running a practice group, for example weekly calibration drills with a short course on each pattern, often like its simple layout and the gamified leaderboard that rewards participation.
Prices on its pricing page when we checked in November 2026: Hobby $9/mo with unlimited members, courses, videos and live calls, plus a 10% transaction fee; Pro $99/mo with the same allowances and a 2.9% transaction fee. Both include a custom URL and affiliates, and there is a 14-day free trial.
The 10% fee on Hobby is the catch. Selling a single $300 NLP foundations course costs $30 in Skool fees on Hobby, so once you sell a few a month Pro is cheaper. Beyond that, the pricing page does not describe one-to-one booking, agreements or per-client check-ins, so breakthrough sessions and individual programs need other tools.
Skool suits coaches whose content is mostly group-based and who want members to see each other's progress. It is weaker as a private space for individual change work, where clients may not want peers to see what they are working on.
Pick it over Coachful if you want the cheapest possible community-plus-classroom for an NLP practice group and you run one-to-one work elsewhere.
11. Systeme.io: a free way to test a lead course

Systeme.io is a low-cost marketing suite with funnels, email, courses, community, a blog and an affiliate program. Its free plan is genuinely usable for testing an idea: 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course and 500 students, with no credit card required and a 0% transaction fee on every plan.
For an NLP coach, that makes it a fair place to validate a free "meta model in seven days" email course before investing in anything else. It is not where you would run change work. There is no native 1:1 scheduling with client records, habits or check-ins, community and course features are basic, and there is no branded mobile app.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Free $0/mo; Startup $17/mo with 5,000 contacts, 10 funnels and 5 courses; Webinar $47/mo with 10,000 contacts and 20 courses; Unlimited $97/mo. Systeme.io's Trustpilot score was 4.9 from 8,696 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if you are pre-revenue, want to test a lead course without paying for software, and do not yet run paid sessions or programs.
12. Stan Store: selling a mini-course from your bio link

Stan Store is a link-in-bio storefront for digital products, courses, memberships and paid calls. NLP coaches who build an audience on Instagram with short reframe demos sometimes start here, selling a $27 mini-course and a paid discovery call from one link.
It stops at the sale. Stan has no contracts, invoices or client records, it is not a CRM, and there are no programs with client tasks, habits or check-ins. No team seats are advertised. Email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates are only on Creator Pro.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Creator $29/mo ($25/mo annually) and Creator Pro $99/mo ($79/mo annually), both with unlimited products and customers and a 0% Stan fee; Stripe or PayPal processing applies. There is a 14-day free trial, with the first month charged when it ends. Its Trustpilot score was 4.7 from 2,205 reviews. Coachful also has a link-in-bio page that sells and Instagram automations that send a booking link or lead magnet by DM when someone comments a keyword, so the lead lands in the same client records (see platforms to get clients for NLP coaches).
Pick it over Coachful if you only need a storefront for a couple of low-priced products sold from social media and have no ongoing clients to manage.
Which features does each platform cover?
The quick answer: most tools handle the course well, and only a few handle the session and the daily practice that NLP change work depends on. "Not listed" means the vendor's pricing information we reviewed does not describe the feature.
| Tool | Courses | 1:1 session booking | Daily habits and check-ins | Community | Platform fee on entry plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Yes, with drip and completion tracking | Yes, with calendar sync and video | Yes | Yes, with auto cohorts | 0% |
| Kajabi | Yes | Not listed | No | Yes | Extra 2% with non-Kajabi processors |
| LearnWorlds | Yes | No (not built for 1:1) | No | Not listed | $5 per paid enrollment |
| Thinkific | Yes | No (external links) | No | Yes | 0% on Thinkific Payments |
| Mighty Networks | Yes | Not listed | Not listed | Yes | 2% |
| Practice Better | Self-paced from Plus | Yes | Not listed | Group messaging | Not listed |
| Teachable | Yes | No | No | Not listed | 7.5% |
| Podia | Yes | Sells sessions; no native video | No | Yes | 5% |
| Kartra | Memberships | Calendars | No | Not listed | 5% |
| Skool | Yes | Not listed | Not listed | Yes | 10% |
| Systeme.io | Yes | No | No | Basic | 0% |
| Stan Store | Yes | Paid calls | No | Not listed | 0% |
What will each platform cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?
For an NLP coach, the platform price is only part of the bill, because most course tools still need a booking tool and sometimes an email tool. The table shows the cheapest listed monthly plan that fits each client count, billed monthly, before card processing. These are illustrative scenarios built from listed prices, not quotes.
| Tool | 5 clients | 15 clients | 40 clients | What you would still add |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Nothing for booking, contracts, email or check-ins |
| Kajabi | $179 | $179 | $179 | Booking tool; check-ins |
| LearnWorlds | $29 + $5 per enrollment | $99 (Pro Trainer) | $99 | Booking, contracts, check-ins |
| Thinkific | $109 | $109 | $109 | Booking, contracts, check-ins |
| Mighty Networks | $79 + 2% | $79 + 2% | $79 + 2% | Booking, contracts |
| Practice Better | $35 ($99 for self-paced programs) | $69 ($99 for self-paced) | $69 ($99 for self-paced) | Community; marketing site |
| Teachable | $39 + 7.5% | $89 | $89 | Booking, video, check-ins |
| Podia | $49 + 5% | $99 | $99 | Video calls; more email subscribers |
| Kartra | $59 + 5% | $119 | $119 | Video calls; check-ins |
| Skool | $9 + 10% | $99 + 2.9% | $99 + 2.9% | Booking, contracts |
| Systeme.io | $0 | $17 | $17 | Booking, contracts, check-ins |
| Stan Store | $29 | $99 (for email) | $99 | Client records, contracts, programs |
Assumptions: at 15 and 40 clients we moved to the plan without a high transaction fee, because the fee usually costs more than the upgrade by then. Your own numbers depend on how many courses you sell and at what price, so work out the fee on your actual average sale.
How does an NLP coach set this up in Coachful, step by step?
Here is an example setup for an NLP coach selling a self-paced foundations course, an application-only breakthrough session and an eight-week change program. Names and structures are illustrative.

- Request the build. Open Create, choose "We'll build it for you" and describe the three offers. Attach your logo, headshot and any existing course outline. The team builds the site, the funnel and the program skeleton inside your account.
- Build the foundations course. Start from one of the course templates with quizzes. Create modules for rapport and calibration, representational systems, the meta model, anchoring and reframing. Set drip so one module opens each week, and attach a practice worksheet to each lesson.
- Write the agreement. Add your scope line: NLP coaching is not therapy, and you will refer to a licensed professional for the red flags listed earlier. Set it to send for e-signature before the first call.
- Create the breakthrough session type. Make a paid 90-minute session with a 24-hour buffer after it, minimum notice of two days, and intake questions about the outcome the client wants and anything clinical you need to know to decide whether to refer. Connect your Google, Apple or Outlook calendar.
- Build the eight-week program. Week one sets a well-formed outcome as a goal with a progress bar. Weeks two to eight add daily tasks such as "fire your resource anchor before your first call" and a habit for a five-minute visualisation. Turn on morning and evening check-ins; the evening one asks for three reframes from the day.
- Connect the funnel. Use a lead-magnet funnel for a free "five reframes in five days" mini-course, followed by an email sequence that branches: people who finish the mini-course get an invitation to apply for the breakthrough session.
- Set prices. Rather than copy a number, price from your hours: add up session time, review time for check-ins and community time over the eight weeks, multiply by your target hourly rate, and offer a payment plan if the total is high.
- Turn on the cohort. When clients enrol in the program, Coachful creates a cohort group automatically. Schedule a weekly group practice call as a video event.
- Track your hours. If you are working toward an ICF credential, let the ICF tracker count your sessions so the log is ready when you apply.
Done this way, a new client meets you through the free mini-course, applies, books, signs, pays and starts daily practice without ever leaving your branded space. You see who is practising and who has gone quiet on one dashboard. Coachful also has dedicated pages for mindset coaches and confidence coaches, two audiences NLP practices often serve.
What mistakes do NLP coaches make when choosing a course platform?
The most common mistake is buying a video host for what is really a behaviour-change business. Others follow from it:
- Treating the course as the product. An anchoring lesson watched once rarely changes anything. If the platform cannot prompt practice in week three, the result depends on willpower alone.
- Ignoring transaction fees on high-ticket trainings. A 5% to 10% fee on a practitioner-style course is a real cost. Compare it to the next plan up.
- Promising clinical outcomes. Sales pages that promise to cure phobias or trauma invite clients you should be referring out. Keep the copy to coaching outcomes and keep the referral step in the agreement.
- Stacking five tools. Course platform, booking tool, contract tool, email tool and community app each have their own login and fee, and client data ends up scattered.
- Making practice circles public by default. Clients working on personal beliefs may not want peers to see everything. Check how private each space is.
- Forgetting the hour log. If an ICF credential is in your plans, logging hours from day one is far easier than rebuilding them from a calendar later.

Which course platform should an NLP coach choose?
Choose Coachful if your NLP work includes sessions and multi-week change programs, because it is the only tool here that carries the course, the booked session, the agreement, the payment and the daily practice in one place, with a free build service to set it up.
Choose Kajabi for a large launched course with a community, LearnWorlds for an interactive, assessment-heavy training, Thinkific for a big self-paced catalogue, and Mighty Networks or Skool if a practice community is the whole business. Practice Better suits coaches inside a health practice. Teachable, Podia, Kartra, Systeme.io and Stan Store are reasonable for a first course or a funnel test, but you will outgrow them once clients need follow-up between sessions.
Coachful in one paragraph: a coaching platform for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, covering courses, booking, payments, agreements, habits and check-ins, community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. It does not handle clinical records, PayPal or marketplace distribution. Start with a free trial and ask the team to build your first offer for you (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). You can also compare Coachful with other tools.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best course platform for NLP coaches?
For most NLP coaches it is Coachful, because NLP change work depends on practice between sessions, and Coachful combines courses with booking, agreements, daily check-ins and habits. If you only sell recorded courses to a large audience, Kajabi or Thinkific are strong alternatives.
Can I run an NLP practitioner-style training on a coaching platform?
Yes. Build the training as a course with modules, drip release and quizzes, then add live practice calls as group events. Check whether you need features such as completion certificates and confirm them with the vendor before you buy.
Do I need a separate booking tool for breakthrough sessions?
With most course platforms, yes: Thinkific and Teachable rely on external booking links, for example. Coachful includes booking pages with calendar sync, video links, paid sessions and intake questions, so no separate tool is needed.
Is NLP coaching the same as therapy?
No. NLP coaching is a coaching service, not treatment, and its evidence base is contested. Refer clients with suicidal thoughts, diagnosed mental illness, disruptive trauma symptoms, eating disorders or substance dependence to a licensed professional, and state that boundary in your agreement.
Can I store client notes from NLP sessions in Coachful?
You can keep coaching notes, intake answers and check-ins on each client record. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified, so clinical records and anything requiring a BAA belong in a clinical system.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a free build service on every plan. You describe what you want, such as a website, a course outline, a funnel or a program, attach references and files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording your videos, logo design or ad management.
Which platform is cheapest for a new NLP coach?
Systeme.io has a free plan and Skool starts at $9/mo, but Skool's entry plan charges a 10% transaction fee and neither handles one-to-one change work. Count the booking, contract and email tools you would add before comparing prices.
Can Coachful track hours for an ICF credential?
Yes. It counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours.
Can I move my existing NLP course from Kajabi or Teachable?
Yes. During Coachful onboarding, clients, programs and content are imported for you, and the white-glove team can rebuild pages such as your homepage and sales page.
Does Coachful accept PayPal?
No. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with Apple Pay and Google Pay, subscriptions, payment plans and coupons.
