Best Email Marketing Platforms for ADHD Coaches: 12 Picks

Best Email Marketing Platforms for ADHD Coaches: 12 Picks

The best email marketing platforms for ADHD coaches do three jobs well: they turn a lead magnet into a short, skimmable welcome sequence, they get people to the discovery call they booked, and they know who is already a client so nobody enrolled in your program gets a "last chance to join" email. Your subscribers are often people who lose emails in a crowded inbox, forget appointments they meant to keep, and unsubscribe from anything that feels like noise. So the deciding question is not "which tool has the most templates", it is "which tool sends fewer, better-timed messages to the right person".

Our pick is Coachful, because its email lists, broadcasts and sequences live in the same account as your funnels, booking pages, client records and the program your clients follow between sessions. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and we say plainly below where dedicated email tools such as MailerLite, Kit and ActiveCampaign are stronger: deliverability tooling and advanced segmentation. The ranking that follows covers 12 tools, with prices as each vendor listed them in October 2026.

What does the ADHD client journey ask of email at each stage?

An ADHD coaching business usually runs through four stages, and email does a different job in each. Mapping the stages first tells you which features matter and which are decoration.

Attract. Most ADHD coaches grow their list with a practical freebie: a "two-minute morning launch" checklist, a body-doubling session invite, a workbook on time blindness, or a short quiz on executive function friction points. The platform needs forms and landing pages that load fast on a phone, a delivery email that arrives immediately, and a welcome sequence of three to five short emails. Long newsletters with six links lose this audience. One idea and one action per email works better, and your tool should make that easy to template.

Enroll. The money step is the discovery call. Prospects with ADHD often book with real intent and then lose track of the time. You need reminders that arrive at the right moment (the day before and an hour before), a booking page that detects time zones, and a follow-up sequence for people who downloaded the freebie but never booked. Group program launches add a second need: a cart-open sequence with a clear deadline, a checkout, and the ability to stop sales emails the moment someone buys.

Deliver. Once someone is a client, email is a poor delivery channel on its own. Weekly worksheets buried among 400 unread messages get missed. The better pattern is to move between-session work into a client space (habits, check-ins, tasks) and use email only to point there. A platform that only sends email cannot do this part; you will need a second tool.

Retain. Renewals, alumni groups and the next cohort all depend on knowing who did what. Your list should know who finished the program, who went quiet, and who is still paying, so the renewal email goes to the right people and the "free workshop" email does not go to someone who just bought your premium package.

One scope point belongs in every ADHD coach's email copy. Coaching is not diagnosis or treatment. Keep medication advice, diagnostic language and anything that reads like therapy out of your sequences, and give subscribers a clear line on when to see a clinician: questions about diagnosis or medication, signs of depression or anxiety that affect daily life, or any crisis. The National Institute of Mental Health's ADHD overview is a neutral page to link when someone asks. Also avoid tagging subscribers with health details they never gave you; a tag like "interested in focus workshop" is useful, a tag that implies a diagnosis is a liability.

Which tool covers which stage of the ADHD coaching journey?

Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost, and setup effort (including Coachful's free white-glove build), with email-specific depth weighed honestly against those.

If you want the wider view of client tools beyond email, our guide to the best software for ADHD coaches compares full platforms, and our general comparison of email marketing tools for coaches covers the category for every niche.

How did we choose and rank these 12 platforms?

We started from what an ADHD coach does every week: publish a freebie, follow up with people who downloaded it, get discovery calls to actually happen, launch a group program a few times a year, and keep current clients moving between sessions. Each tool was scored on those workflows using what the vendor documents on its own pages, its listed prices in October 2026, and what public reviewers report. We did not run hands-on tests or send-rate experiments, so we do not rank deliverability numerically; instead we flag where a dedicated email tool offers deliverability features an all-in-one does not.

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

Four questions decided most placements. Can a coach go from lead magnet to booked call to paid client without stitching tools together? Does the platform help clients between sessions, or only send them more email? What does the full stack cost once you add the pieces the tool lacks? And how much setup does a coach who already struggles with admin overwhelm have to do alone?

1. Coachful: email that knows who your clients are

Coachful is a coaching platform where email is one part of a single system. One subscription covers booking, payments, coaching agreements, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. You have one login; your clients get one branded app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing four to six tools. It is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and holds a Trustpilot rating of 4.5 from 21 reviews as of October 2026.

For attracting subscribers, Coachful's funnels cover booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout flows, with Meta Pixel and UTM tracking. About 25 funnel templates give you a starting point, and the section-based website builder adds a blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates. A link-in-bio page that sells is included, which suits coaches who grow on Instagram or short video.

For the email itself, you get lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits. That is enough for the classic ADHD coach sequence: freebie delivery, three short value emails, a discovery-call invitation, and a branch for people who booked versus people who did not. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, drafts emails from your live practice data, which helps on the weeks when writing the newsletter keeps sliding down the list. The walkthrough below shows the email area in use.

For enrollment, booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync. Reminders go by email, plus SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp one hour before once messaging is enabled. For prospects who lose track of time, that one-hour WhatsApp nudge does more than a third reminder email. Intake questions on booking land on the client record, a coaching agreement with e-signature goes out before the first call, and payments run through your own Stripe or Razorpay account with a 0% Coachful platform fee.

For delivery, this is where Coachful differs from every pure email tool on this list. Instead of emailing worksheets, you build multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, progress bars and streaks. Clients see one next step in their branded home and app. Cohort groups are created automatically when someone enrolls in a group program, and the community feed, group chat and video events give body-doubling sessions a home. The client record shows each person's status as thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you can spot the client who has gone silent before they cancel.

Coachful's coaching flows library with a Welcome flow and Morning and Evening Check-in flows.

For retention, the payoff is that your email list sits in the same account as your prospects board, client records, tags and payments. You are not syncing tags between a scheduler, a checkout and an email tool to work out who is already a client. Our guide to client accountability portals for ADHD coaches and habit tracking apps for ADHD coaches go deeper on the delivery side.

Where it falls short. A dedicated email platform gives you more deliverability tooling (Brevo, for instance, lists deliverability specialist support and contact scoring on its Professional plan) and more advanced segmentation than Coachful. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and is not for clinical record-keeping, which matters if you also practise as a clinician. There is no PayPal, no permanent free plan, and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, the "We'll build it for you" option lets you describe what you want built, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. For an ADHD coach this removes the step that stalls most launches: a blank page. You can ask for a lead-magnet funnel, an email sequence or newsletter, a website, a program, a lead quiz or an automation. Nothing gets invented (no fake credentials, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill), and it does not cover recording videos, logo design or ad management. One recent build gave a business mentor for beauty professionals a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. More detail is in our post on the free white-glove service.

Price. Plans are flat monthly, with lower plans capping the number of clients and Pro unlimited (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Monthly plans cancel in one click, and you can start with a free trial. See how it fits your practice on the Coachful for ADHD coaches page.

2. MailerLite: the most coach-friendly standalone email tool

MailerLite is the strongest pure email pick here for a solo ADHD coach because it bundles bookings and digital sales with clean, affordable email. Its built-in Bookings handle 1:1 and group sessions, free or paid through Stripe, with Google Calendar and Outlook/Microsoft 365 sync, and booking questions save to the subscriber profile. That last detail matters: your discovery-call intake answers sit next to the email history.

MailerLite's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, the Free plan covers up to 250 active subscribers, 2,500 emails a month, 3 active automations of 5 steps each, one website and one landing page, and one active digital product or booking. Sending locks if you pass 250 active subscribers. Comfort starts at $12/month for 500 subscribers ($19/month at 1,000), with 50 automations of up to 100 steps. Power starts at $25/month for 500 subscribers ($39/month at 1,000) and removes most limits. MailerLite takes 0% commission on digital products, paid newsletters and bookings; Stripe's processing fee still applies. New accounts get 14 days of premium features. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 3,391 reviews in October 2026.

For an ADHD coach, a sensible setup is a free "focus reset" PDF on a landing page, a five-step welcome automation on Comfort, and a paid discovery session through Bookings. What you still lack is anywhere for clients to work between sessions: no habits, check-ins, program view or community. You would add a client portal and probably a course tool, which raises both cost and the number of logins your clients juggle.

The free plan's 250-subscriber ceiling arrives fast once a freebie takes off on social media, so budget for Comfort early.

Pick it over Coachful if you mainly need a low-cost newsletter plus simple paid bookings, you already deliver coaching somewhere you are happy with, and you want dedicated email tooling at the lowest entry price.

3. Kit: built for creators who write a weekly newsletter

Kit, formerly ConvertKit, suits the ADHD coach whose marketing runs on a regular newsletter: a weekly "one strategy" email, a podcast companion, or a Substack-style essay. Free lead magnet delivery works on every plan.

The Newsletter plan is free for up to 10,000 subscribers, as listed in October 2026, but automations and sequences need a paid plan. Creator starts at $39/month for up to 1,000 subscribers with 2 team members, and Pro starts at $79/month with unlimited team members; both prices scale with subscriber count. There is a 14-day free trial on Creator and Pro with no credit card. Kit Commerce sells digital products at 3.5% + $0.30 per US transaction, all-in, with no monthly fee. Trustpilot showed 3.9 from 162 reviews in October 2026.

The gap for coaches is everything after the sale. Kit fulfills digital products only. It has no scheduling, no client records, no session management, no course portal, no community, and no habits or check-ins. So your discovery calls run through a separate scheduler, and you need tags or an integration to tell Kit when someone becomes a client. If that sync breaks, enrolled clients keep receiving sales emails, which is the exact mistake that erodes trust with an audience already wary of being "marketed at".

Where Kit shines for this niche is the free tier: an ADHD coach who wants to build a list before selling anything can collect thousands of subscribers and send broadcasts without paying, then upgrade when it is time to automate a launch.

Pick it over Coachful if your business is newsletter-first, you are happy to run scheduling and client delivery in other tools, and a large free list matters more to you than a single system.

4. Flodesk: for coaches who sell on visual brand

Flodesk is chosen for looks. Its templates produce polished, magazine-style emails without design skills, and many ADHD coaches with a strong visual brand on Instagram use it to keep emails consistent with their feed.

Flodesk pricing page with its plans
Flodesk's pricing page in October 2026.

Prices as listed in October 2026: a Free plan with no subscriber limit but no email sending, Lite at $25/month ($19/month billed annually) up to 1,000 subscribers with a 25,000-subscriber maximum and 1 seat, Pro at $28/month ($25/month annually) with 2 seats, and Everything at $54/month ($49/month annually) with 3 seats. There is a 14-day trial with no credit card. Flodesk Checkout uses Stripe at 3% + $0.30 in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and works only in those countries, the UK and the Euro Area. Trustpilot showed 4.8 from 321 reviews in October 2026.

The trade-off is depth. Flodesk has forms, landing pages and simple sales pages, but no scheduling, client records, course portal, community or check-ins. A coach who sells a self-paced "ADHD-friendly planning" mini course might be fine with Flodesk plus a course host. A coach who runs 1:1 packages will be stitching together a scheduler, contracts and a client space.

A note on design for this audience: very image-heavy emails can be harder to skim and slower on mobile. Whatever tool you use, keep one call to action high in the email and let the design support it rather than bury it.

Pick it over Coachful if beautiful branded email is your main marketing asset, your offers are simple digital products, and you are comfortable running sessions and delivery elsewhere.

5. Systeme.io: the low-cost funnel suite

Systeme.io bundles funnels, email, courses, community, a blog and an affiliate program into one inexpensive account. For an ADHD coach testing a first lead magnet and a low-ticket workshop, it gets you selling with very little spend.

Systeme.io homepage presenting its all-in-one funnels, email and courses suite
Systeme.io's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, the Free plan includes 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course with 500 students, 1 blog, 1 custom domain, 1 automation rule and 1 email campaign, and it never expires. Startup is $17/month with 5,000 contacts, 10 funnels and 5 courses. Webinar is $47/month with 10,000 contacts, and Unlimited is $97/month. Transaction fees are 0% on all plans, with only Stripe or PayPal processing. Trustpilot showed 4.9 from 8,696 reviews in October 2026.

The limits show once you take on 1:1 clients. Its profile notes no native 1:1 scheduling tied to client records, and no habits or check-ins. Community and course features are basic, and our older profile lists no branded mobile app. So a coach running a 12-week ADHD accountability program would still need a scheduler and some way to deliver daily structure, which is the part ADHD clients tend to value most. The one-automation-rule cap on Free also means a real welcome sequence needs a paid plan.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell mostly low-ticket workshops and courses, want the cheapest possible funnel-plus-email setup, and do little ongoing 1:1 or program delivery.

6. ActiveCampaign: deepest automation and segmentation

ActiveCampaign is the tool to beat when the job is complex email logic: lead scoring, branching nurture paths, and segments based on behaviour. An ADHD coach with a large list and several offers (a membership, a group cohort, VIP days) can route each subscriber to the right path with precision that no all-in-one on this list matches.

ActiveCampaign homepage promoting its email marketing automation platform
ActiveCampaign's homepage in October 2026.

Prices as listed in October 2026, all at 1,000 contacts: Starter at $19/month ($15/month annually) with 5 actions per automation, standard and inline forms only, no landing pages and no Calendly or Stripe integrations; Plus at $59/month ($49/month annually) with unlimited automation actions, landing pages, and Calendly, Acuity and Eventbrite integrations; Pro at $99/month ($79/month annually) with 3 seats; Enterprise at $179/month ($145/month annually). There is no free plan, a 14-day free trial with no card, and a 30-day refund guarantee on paid plans. Trustpilot showed 2.7 from 1,452 reviews in October 2026.

For this niche, the catch is that the features a coach needs start on Plus. Starter's five-action limit is too short for a freebie-to-call sequence with reminders, and without the Calendly integration it cannot see who booked. ActiveCampaign does not process payments or host calls, so the realistic stack is ActiveCampaign Plus, a scheduler, a checkout and a client portal. It is also a lot of power to configure, which is worth weighing honestly if setup tasks tend to stall for you.

Pick it over Coachful if advanced segmentation, lead scoring and multi-branch automation are central to your growth, you have a list large enough to justify it, and you have the time or help to build and maintain it.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

Build your platform

7. Kajabi: courses and community with email attached

Kajabi is a knowledge-product platform with courses, community, a website, funnels and email in one place. ADHD coaches who earn most of their revenue from a signature course or paid community often land here.

Kajabi homepage presenting its platform for courses, communities and coaching
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Basic is $179/month ($143/month annually) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community and 0 AI credits. Growth is $249/month ($199/month annually) with 50 products and 25,000 contacts. Pro is $499/month ($399/month annually). Kajabi Payments in the US costs 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, slightly less on higher plans; using another processor (excluding PayPal) adds a Kajabi fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth or 0.5% on Pro. The standard trial is 14 days. Trustpilot showed 3.4 from 2,347 reviews in October 2026.

Email in Kajabi knows who bought what, which solves the "do not pitch my own clients" problem for product buyers. What it lacks for ADHD coaching is per-client structure: no habit tracking or daily check-ins, and coaching is sold as products or communities rather than individual plans. The 2,500-contact cap on Basic can also arrive quickly if a freebie spreads. Our course platforms for ADHD coaches roundup compares Kajabi on the course side.

Pick it over Coachful if a self-paced course or paid community is your main product, you want courses, community and email in one product-focused platform, and your budget fits its higher entry price.

8. Brevo: generous sending and multichannel on a budget

Brevo prices by email volume rather than contacts, which suits an ADHD coach with a large but quiet list: a few thousand freebie downloaders who receive one newsletter a week. It also offers SMS and, on higher tiers, WhatsApp, which can help with event reminders.

Brevo's pricing page, fetched in October 2026, lists a Free plan with no credit card, where accounts approved for sending can send up to 300 emails per day. Starter is listed from $9/month, starting at 5,000 emails a month, with advanced segmentation, forms, an AI content generator and email support. Standard is listed from $18/month and adds unlimited multi-step automation workflows, A/B testing, advanced reporting, send-time optimization and one landing page. Professional is listed from $499/month with 10 seats, contact scoring and deliverability specialist support. Annual billing saves 10%.

The coach-specific gaps: the pricing page lists no booking calendar or checkout, and there is no client portal, course area or community. For an ADHD coach, Brevo is a sending engine; the discovery-call reminders and the program delivery live elsewhere. The good news is that Standard's unlimited workflows at a low entry price make the freebie-to-call sequence affordable.

Pick it over Coachful if you want very cheap, high-volume sending with advanced segmentation on a starter plan, and you already have scheduling and delivery covered by other tools.

9. AWeber: long-running email tool with a done-for-you option

AWeber lists a dedicated solution page for coaches. Its newer AI tools (a page builder, signup form builder and writing assistant) aim to reduce setup effort, and it offers a paid done-for-you email setup, which is worth knowing if starting from a blank page is your sticking point.

On its pricing page, fetched in October 2026 for 0 to 500 subscribers, Lite costs $12.49/month billed annually with 1 email list, 3 landing pages, 3 automations, 3 users and 1 custom segment, sending up to 10 times your subscriber maximum each month. Plus costs $19.99/month billed annually with unlimited lists, landing pages, automations, segments and users, and removes AWeber branding. A Done For You plan was listed at $20/month billed annually plus a setup fee shown as $79 in a limited-time offer (normally $599), covering a branded template, a landing page, a signup form and a welcome series built within 7 days. There is a 14-day trial. Monthly-billing prices were not shown in the page text we fetched, so we cannot confirm them.

Lite's single segment is tight for a coach who wants to separate leads, clients and alumni, so Plus is the realistic tier. Like the other pure email tools, AWeber has no scheduling, client records or between-session delivery listed.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a traditional email platform with a paid setup service and plan to keep coaching delivery in tools you already use.

10. Mailchimp: familiar name, tighter limits for coaches

Mailchimp is the email tool many coaches already have an account with. It covers newsletters, signup and popup forms, landing pages, automation flows and a basic website builder.

Mailchimp homepage promoting its email marketing and automation plans
Mailchimp's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, the Free plan allows 250 contacts and 500 sends a month (250 per day), one audience, Mailchimp branding, and no automation flows. Essentials starts at $13/month for up to 500 contacts but allows only 4 steps per flow. Standard starts at $20/month for up to 500 contacts and is what a multi-step nurture sequence realistically needs. Premium starts at $350/month at 10,000 contacts. Prices rise by contact tier, and a contact in two audiences counts twice. There is a 14-day trial on Essentials or Standard in select countries with payment details required. Trustpilot showed 2.5 from 1,555 reviews in October 2026.

For an ADHD coach, the four-step cap on Essentials is the sticking point: freebie delivery, two value emails and a call invite already use it up, leaving no room for a reminder or a booked/not-booked branch. Mailchimp has no scheduling, client records or delivery space, so it plays the same narrow role as the other email tools at a price that climbs quickly as the list grows.

Pick it over Coachful if you already run Mailchimp, your list is small, and switching tools costs more energy than it saves right now.

11. beehiiv: a newsletter business, not a coaching back office

beehiiv is built for newsletter publishers who want to grow and monetize an audience through recommendations, ads and paid subscriptions. An ADHD coach building a media-style weekly newsletter with thousands of readers may like its growth tools.

Its pricing page, fetched in October 2026, lists a Free plan up to 2,500 subscribers with unlimited sends, landing pages and the recommendation network. Lite is listed at $49/month with yearly billing (the price shown for 1,000 subscribers) and adds automations, A/B testing and paid subscriptions at a 0% take rate. Pro is listed at $95/month with yearly billing and adds removal of beehiiv branding, advanced analytics, and a "webinars and coaching" feature. Trials on paid plans need no credit card. Monthly-billing prices were not in the page text we fetched.

For most ADHD coaches who sell calls and programs, beehiiv solves a different problem. Automations start on Lite, branding removal on Pro, and the platform has no client records, habits or check-ins. It makes sense only if the newsletter itself is a product.

Pick it over Coachful if your goal is a large, monetized newsletter with sponsorship or paid tiers, and coaching is a smaller part of the business.

12. GoHighLevel: agency CRM with everything bolted on

GoHighLevel is an agency-first marketing CRM: funnels, websites, calendars, SMS and email, invoicing, contracts, courses and communities, organised into sub-accounts. Some coaches adopt it for its breadth and its SMS reminders.

GoHighLevel homepage presenting its all-in-one marketing CRM for agencies
GoHighLevel's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Starter costs $97/month ($80.83/month annually) with 3 sub-accounts and unlimited users and contacts; Unlimited is $297/month; Agency Pro is $497/month. SMS, email, phone and AI usage are metered and billed on top of the plan. There is a 14-day free trial, and billing starts automatically when it ends. Trustpilot showed 4.9 from 15,250 reviews in October 2026.

The fit problem for an ADHD coach is setup load. GoHighLevel has no habit tracking, client check-ins or structured coaching-program engine; that has to be simulated with workflows and forms. It has no built-in video rooms. For a solo coach who finds configuration draining, an agency tool with metered usage and a blank canvas is a heavy lift. It ranks last here because it asks the most setup of the person who often has the least spare capacity for it.

Pick it over Coachful if you run an agency or a multi-brand practice, want SMS marketing at scale, and have a technical assistant to build and maintain the workflows.

What do the stack recipes cost: all-in-one versus assembled?

An email tool alone is cheaper than an all-in-one, but an ADHD coach rarely gets by with email alone. Below are the entry prices as listed, then four realistic stacks. Third-party prices are as listed in October 2026; anything the stack lacks is named rather than priced, because those add-ons vary widely.

As an example of how these compare: a coach with 15 active clients and about 1,000 subscribers on the lean MailerLite stack pays the least for email, but still needs somewhere to run contracts and between-session accountability. Each extra tool also adds a login for you and, often, an app for your client. For the cheapest email-only options across niches, see our list of the cheapest email marketing for coaches.

How would an ADHD coach set up email in Coachful, step by step?

Here is a practical sequence, written as an example for a coach who runs a free "focus reset" guide, discovery calls and a 10-week group program.

  1. Request the build. Go to Create and choose "We'll build it for you". Describe the lead-magnet funnel and a five-email welcome sequence, attach your logo and the PDF guide, and note your tone (short, warm, one action per email).
  2. Set up the booking page. Add a 20-minute discovery call with buffers, minimum notice and two or three intake questions such as "What would you most like to change about your week?". Enable messaging so SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp one hour before go out alongside email reminders.
  3. Branch the sequence. In the email sequence, add a branch: people who book stop receiving call invitations; people who do not book get one more gentle invite after a delay. Use an A/B split on the subject line of the invite email.
  4. Write the sales week with Michelle. Ask Michelle to draft the cart-open emails for your group program from your offer details, then edit them down. Keep each email to one idea and a single button.
  5. Build the program clients will actually use. Start from one of the 40-plus program templates and add weekly goals, daily tasks, a morning check-in and an evening check-in. Clients enrolled in the group program are added to an automatic cohort group.
  6. Send a coaching agreement. Make sure the agreement with e-signature goes out before the first call, and include your scope line: coaching is not ADHD diagnosis or treatment, and when you will refer to a clinician.
  7. Use client status for retention. Each week, check which clients show as quiet or at risk, and send a personal note rather than a broadcast. Use your broadcast list for alumni and the next cohort.

Track a handful of numbers rather than every dashboard; our five email metrics for coaches keeps it simple.

How do you migrate your list without losing subscribers?

Moving an email list is mostly about consent records and timing. Export your subscribers with their signup date and source, plus any tags that mark clients, alumni and leads. Import only people who opted in; do not add old clients who never subscribed to marketing. Under the FTC's CAN-SPAM compliance guide, commercial email must carry a valid physical postal address and a clear opt-out that is honoured within 10 business days, and those rules apply whatever platform you send from. If you have subscribers in the EU or UK, consent rules are stricter; check with a lawyer if you are unsure.

Rebuild your welcome sequence before you switch the form on your website, so no new subscriber lands in an empty list. Send a short "same newsletter, new home" email from the new tool so the first send is expected. Keep the old account for a month to catch replies and unsubscribes, then close it. In Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and you can export your full client data as a ZIP at any time.

For ADHD audiences in particular, do not use the migration as a reason to start sending more. Keep your cadence the same for the first few weeks so engagement stays steady.

Which email mistakes cost ADHD coaches subscribers?

  • Too many emails during a launch. Daily sends for two weeks wear out an audience that already feels overloaded. Three to five launch emails, each with one action, usually do the job.
  • Pitching existing clients. If your email tool cannot see who has enrolled, current clients get "doors closing" emails. Either use a platform that knows, or maintain a client tag religiously.
  • Only one reminder before a call. A single email the day before is easy to miss. Add a same-day reminder by a channel people check, such as SMS or WhatsApp.
  • Delivering the program by email. Weekly worksheets in the inbox get lost. Put the work in a client space and send a short pointer.
  • Medical language in copy. Avoid promising symptom changes or anything that sounds like treatment. State your scope and refer out when needed.

Verdict: which email platform should an ADHD coach choose?

Choose Coachful if you sell coaching calls and programs and want email, funnels, reminders, payments and between-session delivery in one place, with the free white-glove build doing the first setup for you. It ranks first because it handles all four stages of the ADHD client journey and knows who your clients are without syncing tools. Choose MailerLite if you want the best-value standalone email tool with built-in bookings; Kit if your business is a weekly newsletter; ActiveCampaign or Brevo if advanced segmentation and deliverability tooling come first. Kajabi and Systeme.io fit coaches whose revenue comes mainly from courses or low-ticket funnels. Frequently asked questions

What is the best email marketing platform for ADHD coaches?

For coaches who sell calls and programs, Coachful is our pick because email, booking reminders, payments and between-session delivery share one account. If you only need email, MailerLite offers strong value with built-in bookings. Kit suits newsletter-first coaches.

Is there a free email platform an ADHD coach can start with?

Yes. As listed in October 2026, Kit's Newsletter plan is free up to 10,000 subscribers, MailerLite's free plan covers 250 active subscribers, and Systeme.io's free plan includes 2,000 contacts. Free plans limit or exclude automations, so a real welcome sequence usually needs a paid plan.

How many emails should an ADHD coach send each week?

Most ADHD coaches do well with one regular email a week, plus a short welcome sequence for new subscribers. Keep each email to one idea and one action. During a launch, three to five emails over about a week is a reasonable example to start from.

Can Coachful send SMS or WhatsApp reminders for discovery calls?

Yes. Booking reminders go by email, plus SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp one hour before once messaging is enabled. That helps prospects who lose track of time actually make the call.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a free build service on every plan. You describe what you want, such as a lead-magnet funnel or an email sequence, attach references, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design or ad management.

Do dedicated email tools have better deliverability than Coachful?

Dedicated tools offer more deliverability tooling and segmentation features, such as Brevo's deliverability specialist support and contact scoring on its Professional plan. We have not run deliverability tests, so we do not rank inbox placement. If deliverability work and lead scoring are central to your strategy, a dedicated tool is worth it.

Can I mention ADHD symptoms or medication in my emails?

Coaching is not diagnosis or treatment, so keep medication advice and clinical claims out of your emails. Share strategies and invite people to work with you, and direct questions about diagnosis, medication or co-occurring conditions to a clinician.

Is Coachful HIPAA-compliant for ADHD coaching?

No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. Coaches who also practise clinically should keep clinical records in a clinical system.

Can I move my existing list from Mailchimp or Kit to Coachful?

Yes. Export your opted-in subscribers with their tags and import them; clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. Rebuild your welcome sequence before switching your signup form so nobody falls through the gap.
