The 7 Best Habit Tracking Apps for ADHD Coaches, Compared

The 7 Best Habit Tracking Apps for ADHD Coaches, Compared

The best habit tracking apps for ADHD coaches do one thing that generic trackers rarely do: they put the habit, the daily nudge, the check-in and the next session in the same place the client already opens. An ADHD client's habit plan rarely stalls for lack of a checkbox. It stalls when the checkbox lives in a fourth app they forget exists, when the reminder lands at the wrong moment, or when a missed day turns into a red streak that feels like proof they cannot do it. So the deciding question for this list is simple: which tool lets you build tiny habits, prompt the client at the right time, see who has gone quiet, and pick it up in session without asking the client to manage another system?

Our pick is Coachful. We make Coachful, so weigh that, but the reasoning is specific: it combines habits with streaks, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars, booking with SMS and WhatsApp reminders, payments and a client status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, all behind one login for you and one branded app for your client. The other six tools below are good at narrower jobs, and each section ends with the situation where you should choose it instead.

If you want the wider software picture first, read our best software for ADHD coaches comparison and the general guide to coaching software with habit tracking. This article stays narrow: habit tracking, as an ADHD coach actually uses it.

What do ADHD coaches need from a habit tracking app?

ADHD coaches need a tracker that lowers friction for the client and raises signal for the coach. The client side has to be fast, forgiving and impossible to lose; the coach side has to show who is drifting before the next call, not after it.

That sounds generic until you map it to how ADHD coaching actually runs. The National Institute of Mental Health describes ADHD as a pattern of inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity that is frequent, shows up across settings and interferes with daily life, including difficulty "keeping on task, or staying organized" (NIMH). Each of those traits maps to a software requirement:

  • Out of sight is out of mind. Habits that live in a separate app from the coaching relationship get abandoned. The tracker needs to sit where sessions, messages and materials already are, ideally on the client's phone.
  • Timing beats volume. One prompt at the moment of action works better than five scattered notifications. Look for scheduled morning and evening check-ins and session reminders by SMS or WhatsApp, not only email.
  • Tiny, visible wins. ADHD coaching leans on very small behaviours: a two-minute desk reset, phone on the charger by a set time, calendar open before email. The app should make a habit small to define and progress obvious at a glance. Our guide to micro-goals and habit loops covers the design side.
  • Forgiving streaks. Streaks can motivate, but a broken streak can also feed all-or-nothing thinking. You want streaks plus a reflection prompt that asks what got in the way, so a missed day becomes data for the session.
  • Quiet-client detection. The client who stops checking in is usually the one who most needs a short, warm message. A status like "quiet" or "at risk" on the coach dashboard is worth more than a monthly report.
  • Clear scope. ADHD coaching sits next to clinical care, not inside it. Your contract and intake should say so, and the software should not pretend to be a medical record.

On scope, be direct with clients: coaching is not diagnosis, medication management or therapy. Diagnosis and treatment of ADHD sit with licensed clinicians. If a client describes symptoms of depression, anxiety, substance use or a crisis, or asks you to adjust medication, refer them to their doctor or a mental health professional and keep coaching focused on routines, planning and follow-through. None of the tools in this list are clinical records; Coachful, for example, is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA. Which habit tracking apps for ADHD coaches are worth comparing?

Seven tools made the list: Coachful, Quenza, Everfit, CoachAccountable, Practice Better, HubFit and ABC Trainerize. Prices are monthly, as listed on each vendor's site in October 2026.

Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, between-session habit and check-in delivery, total monthly stack cost, and setup effort (including whether someone will build it for you).

How did we choose and rank these tools?

We started from the job an ADHD coach does between sessions, then checked which tools document features for that job. We did not run hands-on tests; everything below comes from vendor pricing pages and documentation as listed in October 2026, plus public Trustpilot ratings seen on 25 October 2026.

Four questions decided the order:

  1. Does the habit live where the client already is? A tool that holds habits, sessions, messages and materials in one app scored higher than a tracker that needs a separate booking tool and a separate payment link.
  2. Can you prompt at the right time? We looked for scheduled daily check-ins and reminder channels beyond email.
  3. What does the whole stack cost? A cheap tracker plus a scheduler, a contract tool, an email tool and a website often costs more than one platform. We priced each option at 5, 15 and 40 clients.
  4. How much setup does it ask of you? A blank account is where many program launches stall, so a done-for-you build counted in a tool's favour.

Several of the tools here were built for fitness coaching. They earned a place because they document habit tracking and because plenty of ADHD coaches pair routines with movement, but we say clearly where they stop short. Platforms that are direct substitutes for Coachful (CoachAccountable and Practice Better) sit at #4 and #5 because they cover more of the coaching back office but ask you to bolt on more for habit-led, between-session work.

1. Coachful: habits, check-ins and sessions in one client app

A laptop showing a client goal with linked daily tasks and habits, next to a tablet showing a library of morning and evening check-in flows.

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. You get one login; your client gets one app with your branding inside the Coachful app. For an ADHD coach, the important part is that the habit tracker is not a bolt-on. It sits inside the same program, goal and session record you already work from.

How habit tracking works for an ADHD client

Programs in Coachful run over multiple weeks with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars, and streaks. On the client side, habits appear on a Growing Habits dashboard with active and completed tabs and a count of days completed against the target.

The useful detail for ADHD work is how goals tie things together. A goal's Daily momentum section brings linked tasks and habits into one view, with daily and weekly reflection tabs underneath. So "get to work on time" is not a vague intention; it is a goal with three tiny linked habits and a short evening reflection that asks what helped and what got in the way. The client sees one screen, not a list of disconnected checkboxes.

A demo goal in Coachful: linked tasks and habits sit together under Daily momentum, with daily and weekly reflection tabs below.

Check-ins are built as coaching flows. The flows library has Welcome, Daily, Weekly and Journeys tabs, with ready-made Morning Check-in and Evening Check-in flows you can edit. For ADHD clients, a common pattern is a morning prompt that asks for the one thing that matters today and an energy rating, and an evening prompt that asks whether it happened. Keep both under a minute to answer. If you want ideas for the weekly layer, our weekly habit review templates translate directly into a Weekly flow.

Here is a short walkthrough of building check-ins inside Coachful:

What you see as the coach

Every client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, plus an AI briefing per client. Each client carries a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you can spot the person who stopped checking in on Tuesday and send a short message on Wednesday, rather than discovering it at Friday's call. The client dashboard shows insight metrics such as task completion and check-in rate across your roster.

Coachful's client dashboard with demo clients, status tags and example insight metrics such as task completion and check-in rate.

Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from that live practice data. She can brief you before a session (useful when you see six ADHD clients back to back and need the last two weeks of check-ins in thirty seconds), summarize recorded sessions, draft follow-up emails and help build programs. Questions and planning are included in your membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. There is also an optional AI Coach, an AI version of you that selected clients can chat with between sessions; you configure what it does. More on the AI coaching assistant page.

The rest of the client journey

Habits only work if sessions happen, and ADHD clients miss sessions they forget. Coachful's booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Reminders go by email, and by SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp one hour before once messaging is enabled. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with a 0% Coachful platform fee since August 2026, so only processing fees apply. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call, which is where your ADHD scope line belongs; see coaching contracts. If you are working toward an ICF credential, hours and clients are counted against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds on the ICF hour tracking side.

What it does not do: Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. There is no PayPal, no permanent free plan, and no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync. Your client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, the "We'll build it for you · FREE" card lets you describe what you want built: a program, a journey or coaching flow, a form or worksheet, a website, a funnel, an email sequence and more. Attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files (logos, copy, brand guides, documents; no video), and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill. For an ADHD coach staring at an empty account, that turns "set up my 12-week program and morning check-ins" into a request you write once. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Details in our white-glove service guide.

2. Quenza: between-session exercises for reflective clients

Quenza's homepage in October 2026, presenting its client-engagement app for coaches and therapists.
Quenza's homepage in October 2026.

Quenza is a client-engagement tool for coaches and therapists. Its core is activities: exercises, worksheets and reflections you design and send to clients, which can be assembled into programs and delivered through a client app with chat. For ADHD coaching, that suits the reflective half of the work: a values exercise in week one, a "where does my time actually go" worksheet in week two, a weekly reflection that helps the client notice patterns.

Where it fits less neatly is the daily, tick-the-box half. Our October 2026 data on Quenza lists activities, worksheets, programs, chat and a client app; it does not list a dedicated streak-style habit tracker, so check the trial before assuming one. You can build a daily activity as a check-in prompt, but you are designing that yourself rather than switching on a habit with a streak.

The bigger gap for most ADHD coaches is around the session. Quenza has no client payment processing today; invoicing and digital products are marked "Planned/Soon" on its pricing page. An older profile notes no scheduling or video calls. So a Quenza setup usually means a separate booking tool for reminders, a separate payment link and a separate contract tool, which is three more places for an ADHD client to lose track.

Price, as listed in October 2026: Spark $25/mo ($20/mo annual) for 1 professional and 10 clients; Growth $50/mo ($40/mo annual) for 250 clients; Impact $125/mo ($100/mo annual) for 400 clients; Collective $160/mo ($128/mo annual) for up to 3 professionals and 500 clients; Beyond on request. There is a 30-day trial with no card. Trustpilot shows 4.3 from 8 reviews, a small sample.

Limits to know: Spark caps at 10 clients, which an ADHD group cohort will pass quickly. No payments yet. Scheduling and reminders sit elsewhere.

Pick it over Coachful if your coaching is mostly structured reflection and psychoeducation exercises, you already have booking and billing sorted, and you want the deepest worksheet builder for that one job. Growth's 250-client cap at $50/mo is also generous if you run large self-paced groups.

3. Everfit: free habit tracking for up to five clients

Everfit's homepage in October 2026, presenting its fitness coaching app with workouts, habits and nutrition.
Everfit's homepage in October 2026.

Everfit is a fitness coaching app with workouts, habits, nutrition and messaging, priced by client count. It belongs on an ADHD list for one practical reason: the Starter plan is free forever for up to 5 clients, and it includes habit tracking. If you are a new ADHD coach testing whether app-based habit tracking helps your clients at all, that is a low-risk way to find out.

For ADHD work, Everfit makes most sense when movement is part of the plan. Many coaches pair executive-function goals with a simple activity routine, and Everfit keeps habits such as "walk 10 minutes" in the same app as workouts and messages. Automation (Autoflow), payments and meal plans are paid add-ons, so the cost climbs as you automate.

What Everfit does not cover is the coaching business around the habits. Our data lists no course builder, no website or funnels and no email marketing. Booking, contracts and a client status view are not part of the feature set we have on file. That is fine if you only need the tracker; it means more tools if you need the whole journey.

Price, as listed in October 2026: Starter $0 for up to 5 clients; Pro from $19/mo ($16/mo annual) for 5 clients, scaling to $29/mo for 10, $49/mo for 20, $95/mo for 50, $140/mo for 100 and $290/mo for 300 clients; Studio from $105/mo ($88/mo annual) for 50 clients up to $430/mo for 500; Enterprise on request. A 30-day trial needs no card. Trustpilot shows 2.7 from 16 reviews.

Watch for: the jump between client tiers. Going from 10 to 11 clients moves you from $29 to $49 a month on Pro, and add-ons for automation and payments sit on top.

Pick it over Coachful if you coach five or fewer ADHD clients, movement is central to your method, and you want habit tracking at zero cost while you validate the approach, accepting that booking, payments and contracts will live elsewhere.

4. CoachAccountable: action plans and metrics with a per-client bill

CoachAccountable's homepage in October 2026, presenting its coaching back office for sessions and action plans.
CoachAccountable's homepage in October 2026.

CoachAccountable is a coaching back office: sessions, action plans, metrics, worksheets, courses, invoicing and agreements. It is a genuine substitute for a coaching platform, and its accountability model is close to how many ADHD coaches already think. Action plans hold the commitments from each session; metrics let a client log numbers over time (hours of focused work, number of mornings the routine happened, bedtime). For coaches who like to show a client a chart of progress, metrics are a strong fit.

The trade-offs are cost and reach. CoachAccountable is priced per active client, which gets expensive for ADHD group programs where 30 or 40 people each need daily tracking. An older profile notes no native mobile app, which matters for ADHD clients who live on their phones and rarely open a laptop browser to log a habit. The same profile notes no landing pages, website or marketing automation, so your sales side sits elsewhere. By its own statement it is not HIPAA compliant.

Payments run through processors; an older profile lists Stripe, Square and PayPal, which is useful if your clients prefer PayPal (Coachful does not support it).

Price, as listed in October 2026: Starter $20/mo for 2 active clients; Level 1 $40/mo for 5; Level 2 $70/mo for 10; Level 3 $120/mo for 20; Level 4 $250/mo for 50; Level 5 $400/mo for 100. A 30-day trial has no card and no limits. Trustpilot shows 4.8 from 47 reviews.

The fine print: fees are per active client, so a cohort of 40 lands you on Level 4. Without a native app, mobile habit logging happens in a browser.

Pick it over Coachful if you coach a small one-to-one caseload, your clients are comfortable logging numeric metrics on the web, and you need PayPal for invoicing.

5. Practice Better: a practitioner portal for team-adjacent ADHD coaching

Practice Better's homepage in October 2026, presenting its practice management software for wellness practitioners.
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Practice Better is practice management software built for wellness and nutrition practitioners: scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing, programs and a client portal. Some ADHD coaches work in or next to multidisciplinary wellness practices, alongside nutrition or wellness professionals, and Practice Better fits that environment because the whole team can work in a practitioner-style system.

For habit tracking specifically, Practice Better's strength is programs delivered through the client portal. Our October 2026 data does not detail a habit tracker with streaks, so treat programs as the delivery layer and confirm habit features during the 14-day trial. The charting side is designed for practitioners; if you use it, keep ADHD coaching notes focused on goals and routines rather than clinical observations.

Several features ADHD coaches rely on sit higher up the plan list. Evergreen programs, portal branding, a custom URL and SMS reminders start on Plus at $99/mo. SMS matters here: email reminders alone are easy for ADHD clients to miss. There is no website builder or funnel pages per an older profile, and below Team there is one practitioner per account.

Price, as listed in October 2026: Sprout $0 for 3 clients and 100 MB; Starter $35/mo ($25/mo annual) for 10 clients; Professional $69/mo ($59/mo annual) for 300 clients; Plus $99/mo ($89/mo annual) for unlimited clients and 3 admins; Team $155/mo ($145/mo annual) for 2 practitioners, up to 200 at +$50 each. Trials run 30 days on Team and 14 days on other paid plans. Payments run on Practice Better Payments, powered by Stripe. Trustpilot shows 3.8 from 87 reviews.

Plan-level catch: the features that make it feel ADHD-friendly (SMS, evergreen programs, branding) need Plus.

Pick it over Coachful if you coach inside a wellness practice where other practitioners need charting and telehealth in the same system, and you want a free 3-client plan to start.

6. HubFit: flat pricing up to 50 clients for movement-led routines

HubFit's homepage in October 2026, presenting its online training app with programs, habits and check-ins.
HubFit's homepage in October 2026.

HubFit is an online training app with programs, nutrition, habits and check-ins, priced by client count with a generous first tier. The Standard plan covers up to 50 clients, so an ADHD coach running a routine-building group can keep the cost flat while the cohort grows. Clients use it free.

The habit and check-in pairing is the reason it is here. HubFit documents habits and check-ins alongside its programs, which covers the core daily loop ADHD coaching needs. The catch is that HubFit is built around training: the programs are workout-first, and the coaching business features are thin. An older profile lists no scheduling or booking, no video calls, no contracts and no website. Payments and branding start on Premium, and team members and Zapier on Ultimate. A branded app is a $189/mo add-on.

For ADHD clients, the missing booking and reminder layer is the real gap. If sessions are booked through a separate calendar link, the client gets reminders from one tool and habit prompts from another, and the coach has no single place to see that someone has gone quiet in both.

Price, as listed in October 2026: Standard $39/mo ($33/mo annual) for up to 50 clients; Premium $69/mo ($57/mo annual) for up to 100; Ultimate $119/mo ($99/mo annual) for 100, with 200 at $209/mo, 300 at $289/mo, 400 at $359/mo and 500 at $419/mo. Every plan has a 14-day trial. HubFit shows a Trustpilot rating of 5 from 390 reviews.

Gaps to plan around: no in-app payments on Standard, no booking, no contracts.

Pick it over Coachful if your ADHD coaching is mostly about exercise routines, you need up to 50 clients on one flat fee, and booking and billing already run somewhere you are happy with.

7. ABC Trainerize: habits inside a fitness app with paid add-ons

ABC Trainerize's homepage in October 2026, presenting its personal-training app with workouts and habits.
ABC Trainerize's homepage in October 2026.

ABC Trainerize is a personal-training app with workouts, habits, nutrition tracking and messaging, priced by client seats. It sits last here because it is the most fitness-specific tool on the list, and the features an ADHD coach needs around habits are add-ons. It still earns a place: if your ADHD clients also train with you, Trainerize puts their habit list and their workouts in one app they already open.

Scheduling, product sales, payments and video calls are separate paid add-ons below the Studio tier. On the pricing page fetched today, the Business add-on ($25/month) bundles scheduling, referrals, payments and on-demand coaching, Stripe Integrated Payments is $10/month, and Video Coaching is $10/month on Pro plans. A Pro branded app is a one-time $169 setup fee. Our data lists no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing, and an older profile notes that client data export leaves out messages, photos and attachments.

Price, as listed in October 2026: Basic $0 for 1 client; Grow $10/mo ($9/mo annual) for 2 clients; Pro $25/mo ($23/mo annual) for 5 clients, with tiers at 15, 30, 50, 75, 100 and 200 clients; the pricing page FAQ says Pro scales to $135/month for up to 50 clients. We could not verify the 15-client price from the page today. Studio Plus starts at $275/mo ($248/mo annual) for 500 clients, with larger tiers through sales. The 30-day trial needs no card and has unlimited clients, then reverts to the free 1-client plan. Trustpilot shows 3.1 from 100 reviews.

Budget note: add the Business add-on to any Pro tier if you want booking and payments in the app.

Pick it over Coachful if you are a personal trainer who also coaches ADHD clients, workouts are the centre of your service, and you want habits to sit next to training plans in a dedicated fitness app.

What does each option cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Here is the monthly list price for the cheapest plan that covers each caseload, billed monthly, as listed in October 2026. The 40-client column assumes a group program or a full one-to-one practice. These figures cover the tracker only; add booking, contract, email and website tools where a vendor does not include them.

Two patterns stand out. Per-client pricing (CoachAccountable, Everfit Pro, Trainerize Pro) is gentle at five clients and steep at forty. Flat or wide-tier pricing (HubFit, Quenza Growth, Practice Better Professional) looks cheap until you add the tools those apps leave out. As an illustration only: a separate scheduler, an e-signature tool and an email tool can add several subscriptions on top of the tracker figure in the table, so price the full stack you would actually run, not the tracker alone. Our productivity apps for coaches guide lists what each of those add-ons does.

How would an ADHD coach set this up in Coachful, step by step?

Here is a worked example. The coach and program are illustrative: an ADHD coach launching a 12-week one-to-one program called "Steady Mornings" for adults whose main struggle is getting the day started and keeping work from swallowing the evening.

Coachful coaching flows library filtered to journeys, showing three illustrated journey cards.
Journey templates in Coachful's coaching flows library, which can carry a client from welcome to weekly review.
  1. Request the build. From Create, use the free white-glove card. Describe the program in plain words: twelve weeks, one weekly goal, three habits at most, a morning and an evening check-in, a weekly review, and a welcome flow. Attach your intake questions and your scope wording as files. The team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours, and leaves gaps where you need to add your own words.
  2. Keep habits tiny. Start each client with two habits, not five. In this example: "Phone on the charger outside the bedroom by 22:30" and "Open today's calendar before email." Add a third only once the first two are visible on the Growing Habits dashboard for two weeks. The habit stacking guide helps you anchor each one to something the client already does.
  3. Link habits to a goal. Create a goal like "Start work by 9:30 four days a week" and link both habits to it. The client then sees Daily momentum in one view, and the progress bar gives a visible win even in a messy week.
  4. Edit the check-ins. Shorten the Morning Check-in to two questions: "What is the one thing today?" and "Energy, 1 to 5." Shorten the Evening Check-in to "Did the one thing happen?" and "What got in the way, if anything?" The second question turns a missed day into material for the session rather than a red mark.
  5. Set up booking and reminders. Create a weekly 45-minute session type with a buffer after it, minimum notice, and intake questions. Enable messaging so reminders go by SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp one hour before, channels that are harder to miss than email.
  6. Send the agreement first. Add your coaching agreement with e-signature before the first call. Include the scope line: coaching supports routines and follow-through; it is not diagnosis, medication management or therapy; you will refer to a clinician where needed.
  7. Connect payments. Connect your Stripe or Razorpay account and offer a payment plan if a single upfront payment is a barrier. Coachful takes no platform fee; only processor fees apply.
  8. Watch the status, not the streak. Each morning, glance at the client list for anyone marked quiet or at risk. Send one short, warm message. Before each session, ask Michelle for a briefing on the last week of check-ins and habits.
  9. Run a weekly review. Every Friday, a Weekly flow asks what worked, what did not and what to change. Use the answers to adjust one habit at most per week. If you want a printable fallback for clients who like paper, our habit tracker template mirrors the same structure.

The client opens one app for habits, check-ins, sessions and materials, and you work from one client record.

What mistakes do ADHD coaches make with habit tracking apps?

The most common mistake is asking the client to track too much, in too many places. These are the patterns to avoid:

  • Starting with five habits. A long list on day one is a list that gets ignored by day four. Start with one or two and earn the third.
  • Using streaks as a scoreboard. For many ADHD clients a broken streak reads as failure. Pair streaks with a reflection prompt and talk about the pattern, not the gap.
  • Splitting the stack. Habits in one app, booking reminders in another, materials in a shared drive and invoices by email: each extra place is somewhere to forget. Count how many apps your client must open in a week and get it to one if you can.
  • Relying on email reminders alone. Email is the easiest channel to miss. Use SMS or WhatsApp where your tool supports it, timed close to the action.
  • Treating silence as non-compliance. A client who stops checking in is giving you information. A status view that flags "quiet" lets you respond early and kindly.
  • Drifting into clinical territory. Do not track medication doses, symptom scores for diagnosis or anything that belongs in a medical record. None of these tools are clinical records.
  • Underpricing the stack. Comparing tracker prices alone hides the cost of the scheduler, e-signature and email tools around it. Price the full setup at 15 and 40 clients before committing.
  • Building everything yourself before launch. If setup is the bottleneck, hand it off. Coachful's white-glove build exists for exactly this.

Which habit tracking app should an ADHD coach choose?

Choose Coachful if you want your client's habits, check-ins, sessions, reminders, agreement and payments in one app, with a coach view that flags who has gone quiet. That combination is what ADHD coaching needs between sessions, and the free white-glove build removes the setup wall that stops many coaches from starting.

The others are sound choices for narrower situations. Quenza suits reflective, worksheet-heavy coaching when booking and billing are already handled. Everfit gives you free habit tracking for up to five clients if movement is central. CoachAccountable fits a small one-to-one caseload that likes numeric metrics and needs PayPal. Practice Better belongs inside wellness practices that need charting. HubFit and Trainerize make sense when your ADHD clients are also your training clients.

Coachful in one paragraph: a coaching platform for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, especially solo coaches replacing four to six tools. It covers habits with streaks, check-ins, booking, payments, contracts, courses, community, website, email and an AI assistant, included in your Coachful membership. It is not HIPAA-certified, has no PayPal and no permanent free plan, and does not sync with wearables. To start, open a free trial and request the free white-glove build from Create.

FAQ

What is the best habit tracking app for ADHD coaches?

For most ADHD coaches running programs, Coachful is the strongest fit because habits, morning and evening check-ins, booking with SMS and WhatsApp reminders, agreements and payments sit in one client app. If you only need a free tracker for five or fewer clients and movement is central, Everfit's Starter plan is worth a look. Quenza suits worksheet-heavy coaching.

Should ADHD clients use a separate consumer habit app instead?

Some clients like their own app, and that is fine to respect. The trade-off is that you cannot see their data before a session, and they have one more app to remember. A tracker inside your coaching platform lets you notice a quiet week early and talk about it.

Are streaks a good idea for clients with ADHD?

Streaks can motivate, but a broken streak can feel like failure. Use them alongside a short reflection prompt that asks what got in the way, and talk about patterns in session rather than counting misses. Some coaches set weekly targets (four of seven days) instead of daily perfection.

How many habits should an ADHD client track at once?

Start with one or two very small habits and add a third only after the first two are steady for a couple of weeks. Smaller habits that happen beat ambitious ones that do not. Our habit coaching framework covers how to size them.

Is any of these apps HIPAA-compliant for ADHD coaching?

Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, and CoachAccountable states it is not HIPAA compliant. ADHD coaching is not clinical treatment, so keep diagnoses, medication details and clinical notes out of your coaching software. If you work inside a clinical practice, use that practice's approved system for clinical records.

Can coaching replace ADHD treatment?

No. Coaching supports routines, planning and follow-through; diagnosis, medication and therapy belong to licensed clinicians. Put that scope line in your agreement and refer clients to their doctor or a mental health professional when symptoms, mood or safety concerns go beyond coaching.

What does Coachful's free white-glove service include?

You describe what you want built, such as a program, check-in flows, a journey, a form, a website or an email sequence, attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It is free on every plan. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.

Do ADHD clients get reminders by text in Coachful?

Yes, once messaging is enabled. Session reminders go by email, by SMS 24 hours before and by WhatsApp one hour before. Daily habit and check-in prompts come through the program's morning and evening check-ins.

Can I run an ADHD group program with habit tracking?

Yes. In Coachful, enrolling clients in a program automatically creates a cohort group, and the community feed and group chat give that cohort one space to share wins while each person tracks their own habits. Check client caps on per-client tools like CoachAccountable, where a 40-person cohort needs Level 4.

Which plan do I need for 15 ADHD clients?

Coachful's lower plans cap client numbers and Pro is unlimited; the cheapest plan that covers 15 clients is Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients. For the other tools, see the cost table above, which lists each vendor's 15-client price as listed in October 2026.
