10 Best Group Coaching Platforms for Life Coaches (2026 Guide)

10 Best Group Coaching Platforms for Life Coaches (2026 Guide)

The best group coaching platforms for life coaches do one thing well: they keep a cohort moving between calls. A weekly Zoom is easy to run anywhere. What separates the tools is whether your group members get daily prompts, reflections and a place to talk in between, whether you can see who has gone quiet, and whether booking, payment, agreements and the community all live behind one login instead of five.

Our pick is Coachful, because it runs the whole life coaching journey (discovery call, agreement, payment, cohort, habits, check-ins, community, renewal) in one place, with a free white-glove build to set it up for you. We make Coachful, so we ranked the other nine on what their own pricing pages and documentation say, and each entry ends with the situation where you should pick it instead.

This guide is the life coaching version of our wider best group coaching platforms comparison. If you also run a lot of 1:1 work, read it alongside coaching platforms with group and 1:1 coaching.

What do life coaches need from a group coaching platform?

Life coaches need a platform that holds a cohort together for 6 to 12 weeks, mixes group and private touchpoints, and handles the business side without extra apps. The topics are broad (purpose, confidence, career change, relationships, burnout, a fresh start after a big life event), so the structure has to come from the program, not the subject.

The offers life coaches actually sell in groups

  • The fixed-length cohort. An 8 or 12 week program such as "Reset Your Year" or "Clarity in Midlife", with a start date, weekly group calls and a closing session.
  • The ongoing circle or membership. A monthly subscription with two group calls a month, a community feed and a library of past calls. Many coaches use it as the place cohort graduates go next.
  • The hybrid package. Group calls plus two or three private sessions per person. This is where most tools break, because community platforms do not book 1:1 calls and 1:1 tools do not run communities.
  • The small mastermind. Six to ten people, application only, higher price, more accountability between members.
  • The workshop or retreat follow-up. A one-day event that converts into a short group program for people who want to keep going.

The life coaching client journey, start to finish

A typical group client finds you through a lead magnet or a free workshop, books a discovery call or fills in an application, signs a coaching agreement, pays (often in instalments), completes an intake such as a wheel of life, then joins the cohort. Between calls they work on goals, small habits and reflections. At the end, the strongest results come from a clear next step: a renewal, a membership or private coaching. Every handoff you run by hand, or in a different app, is a place people drop out.

Scope: where life coaching stops

Life coaching is not therapy, and a group setting makes the line more visible. People share more in a supportive room, and sometimes what comes up is grief, trauma, an eating disorder or thoughts of self-harm. Your agreement should say that coaching is not mental health treatment, explain group confidentiality, and state what you will do if someone needs clinical support. The ICF Code of Ethics asks coaches to be clear about the nature and limits of coaching and to refer when another professional is a better fit. If a member is in crisis, point them to local emergency services or a crisis line (in the US, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline). No platform in this list is a clinical record system, and Coachful is not HIPAA-certified, so clinical notes belong elsewhere.

How did we choose and rank these platforms?

We started from what a life coach running a cohort has to do each week, then checked each vendor's pricing page and published feature list against it. Prices for Skool, Circle, Mighty Networks, Kajabi, Simply.Coach, Satori and CoachAccountable are as listed in October 2026. Heartbeat and Podia prices come from their pricing pages, checked for this guide. Where a detail comes from an older vendor profile rather than today's page, we say so. We did not run hands-on tests; we report what the vendors document and what public reviewers say.

Four questions decided the order:

  1. Can one login run the whole journey? Booking, agreement, payment, cohort, community and renewal, without stitching apps together with Zapier.
  2. What happens between calls? Daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress, and a way to spot a member drifting.
  3. What does the full stack cost? A cheap community tool plus a scheduler, a payments tool, an e-signature app and an email platform often costs more than one complete platform. Transaction fees count too.
  4. How much setup lands on you? Templates, migration help and done-for-you builds all matter to a solo coach launching a first cohort.

We left out tools built mainly for clinical or nutrition practices, such as Practice Better, because charting and telehealth are not what a life coaching cohort needs.

1. Coachful: the complete platform for life coaching cohorts

A laptop showing a coaching community feed and a phone showing a habit tracker on a sunlit table
Coachful's client community feed on a laptop and the habit tracker on a phone, beside a notebook and tea.

Coachful is a coaching platform that runs booking, payments, agreements, multi-week programs, courses, community, a website with funnels, email and an AI assistant under one login, with one branded app for your clients. For a life coach, that means a cohort member can go from your free workshop to their week-three evening reflection without ever being sent to another tool.

How a cohort runs inside Coachful

When someone enrols in a group program, Coachful creates the cohort group for you automatically. Each program is built from weeks, with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits and morning and evening check-ins, so "Week 2: Values" is not just a call, it is seven days of small actions and reflection prompts. Goals carry progress bars and streaks, which suits life coaching goals that are personal and hard to measure any other way.

Your group then gets a community feed, a group chat, direct messages and video events. Group calls and webinars run on built-in video, or Coachful creates Zoom, Google Meet or Teams links for you. Members see everything in their branded client home: the program, the current week, their goals and the other people in the cohort.

Here is a short walkthrough of how programs are built:

The business side of a group offer

Most life coaches sell groups through a discovery call or an application. Coachful's booking pages ask intake questions at booking, sync two ways with Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendars, detect time zones, and send email reminders, plus SMS and WhatsApp reminders once messaging is enabled. Application and lead-magnet funnels sit on your own website, built from 30 designed homepage templates, with a custom domain and blog.

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time, subscriptions, payment plans for a higher-priced cohort, order bumps, coupons, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee on those payments; only Stripe or Razorpay processing applies. A coaching agreement with e-signature goes out before the first call and stays on the client record, which is where your confidentiality and scope clauses live (more on that on our coaching contracts page).

Seeing who is thriving and who has gone quiet

In a group of 15, someone always fades by week four. Each client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, payments and sessions, and shows a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from that live data: she briefs you before a session, drafts the week's community post or email, and summarizes recorded sessions. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. If you choose, an AI Coach (an AI version of you, configured by you) can chat with selected clients between sessions.

Coachful's coaching flows library with Welcome, Morning Check-in and Evening Check-in flows.

For ICF credential seekers, Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours (see ICF hour tracking). Michelle can also give optional private feedback on your own coaching against ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you" and describe what you need: a website, an application funnel for your cohort, a sales page, the program itself, a course outline, an email sequence or an intake form. Attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files (logos, photos, existing copy). The Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours, and never invents credentials, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you. One recent build: a real-estate and money coach got a year-long cohort program with an application form, an eight-page site and a free nine-day bootcamp funnel. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management. Read more about the free white-glove service.

What Coachful is, who it is for, and what it does not do

Coachful is a coaching platform for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, from solo life coaches to small teams replacing four to six tools. It suits cohorts, hybrid group and 1:1 packages, and memberships. It is not HIPAA-certified, does not support PayPal, has no permanent free plan, is not a course marketplace, and the client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding rather than under your own App Store account. To start, take a free trial and request the free white-glove build. Plans are flat monthly, lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and team plans add coach seats (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). On Trustpilot it shows 4.5 from 21 reviews. More on the Coachful for life coaches page.

Choose Coachful if your group offer depends on what happens between calls and you would rather run one system than a community app plus four helpers.

2. Circle: a polished home for a big life coaching community

Circle's homepage introducing its community platform for creators and brands
Circle's homepage in October 2026.

Circle is a community platform with spaces, courses, events, live streams and paid memberships. For a life coach whose main product is an ongoing membership with hundreds of members, it is one of the most refined community experiences available.

Where Circle fits a life coaching practice

Picture a "Year of Becoming" membership: monthly themes, a course library, a live call each week, and spaces for different topics such as career, relationships and wellbeing. Circle handles that shape well. Admins and moderators scale with the plan (3 admins and 10 moderators on Professional), and there are AI credits for community tasks.

Pricing as listed in October 2026: Professional $89/mo, Business $199/mo and Scale $419/mo, all billed annually (monthly prices were not shown), plus a custom-priced Circle Plus. There is a 14-day free trial with no card required. Circle takes a fee on payments of 2% on Professional, 1% on Business and Scale and 0.5% on Circle Plus, on top of Stripe processing. Public reviewers give it 4.1 on Trustpilot from 129 reviews.

Circle's gaps for cohorts

Circle has no 1:1 scheduling and no client management back office. There are no per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans, so the hybrid package (group plus private sessions) needs a separate scheduler, a contracts tool and somewhere to keep notes. Branded mobile apps are only on custom-priced Circle Plus. Life coaches who want to see one member's progress across a 12-week program will be stitching that view together themselves.

Pick it over Coachful if your business is a large membership community first, you have no private coaching component, and you are happy to keep booking and agreements in other tools.

3. Mighty Networks: community, courses and livestreams in a member app

Mighty Networks homepage introducing its community, courses and events platform
Mighty Networks's homepage in October 2026.

Mighty Networks combines a community, courses and events, with Mighty-branded apps for members. Its strength for life coaches is built-in livestreaming, which suits monthly "ask me anything" sessions and group workshops held inside the community.

What a life coach gets on Launch

As listed in October 2026, Launch is $95/mo ($79/mo annual) with 3 hosts, 10 moderators, 200 GB of storage and 20 hours a month of livestreaming for up to 100 attendees. Scale is $215/mo ($179/mo annual) with 30 hours and 200 attendees. Growth is $354/mo billed annually, and Mighty Pro is custom-priced. The trial is 14 days with no card required and includes Growth features, so check which features you actually keep on Launch. Mighty takes a platform fee of 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, plus Stripe processing.

A 100-attendee livestream cap is plenty for most life coaching cohorts and smaller memberships.

The trade-offs

There is no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, and no per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. Members use Mighty's app, and your own branded app requires Mighty Pro. Public reviewers give it 3.3 on Trustpilot from 219 reviews. If your offer includes private sessions or an agreement before the cohort starts, you will add other tools and their costs.

Pick it over Coachful if livestreaming inside the community is central to your offer and you want members in a dedicated community app, with all 1:1 work handled elsewhere.

4. Kajabi: course-led group programs with heavy email marketing

Kajabi homepage introducing its platform for selling courses, communities and coaching
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

Kajabi is a platform for selling knowledge products: courses, communities, a website, funnels and email. It works for life coaches whose group program is really a course with a community attached, and who already have a large email list.

Kajabi for a life coach selling a signature course

Say your flagship is a self-paced "Design Your Next Chapter" course with a group call each month. Kajabi can host the course, sell it through funnels, run the email sequences and give buyers a community. As listed in October 2026, Basic is $179/mo ($143/mo annual) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 2 admin users and 0 AI credits. Growth is $249/mo ($199/mo annual) with 50 products and 25,000 contacts. Pro is $499/mo ($399/mo annual).

Kajabi Payments in the US costs 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, falling slightly on higher plans. Using another processor (other than PayPal) adds a Kajabi fee of 2%, 1% or 0.5% depending on plan. The trial is 14 days; a card is optional, but if entered Kajabi places a hold and charges when the trial ends. Public reviewers give it 3.4 on Trustpilot from 2,347 reviews.

What's missing for coaching

Kajabi treats coaching as products and communities, not per-client plans. There is no habit tracking and no daily client check-ins, so the "between calls" layer that makes life coaching cohorts work has to be improvised with community posts. Basic's caps (5 products, 2,500 contacts) are tight if you sell a cohort, a membership, a mini course and a lead magnet.

Pick it over Coachful if your business is mainly courses sold to a large list, group coaching is a small add-on, and you need Kajabi's marketing depth more than per-client structure.

For a deeper look at course tools, see course platforms for life coaches.

5. Simply.Coach: contracts and programs for structured coaching

Simply.Coach homepage introducing its coaching practice management platform
Simply.Coach's homepage in October 2026.

Simply.Coach is a coaching practice platform with contracts, programs, sessions, booking pages and a client portal, plus business tiers for coaching firms. It is a direct substitute for the back office of a coaching business, built around individual coachees.

Simply.Coach plans by coachee count

As listed in October 2026: Starter $9/mo for 3 active coachees, 1 contract and 1 program; Essentials $29/mo ($24.17/mo annual) for 7 coachees; Growth $49/mo for 30 coachees and 10 contracts and programs; Leap $69/mo for unlimited coachees, contracts and programs. Business tiers (CoCreate $79/mo, Surge $159/mo) are priced per active coach and add program managers and sponsors. There is a 14-day trial with no card required.

For a life coach, those caps matter. A cohort of 12 alongside a handful of private clients already passes Essentials, and contracts and programs are capped on every solo tier below Leap.

Things to check before a cohort launch

Automated invoices were marked "Coming Soon" on the solo pricing page, and there are no refunds for mid-period cancellations. Its strength is the structured 1:1 and sponsored engagement (the Surge tier names sponsors), which is closer to executive or corporate life coaching than to an open-enrolment cohort with a community.

Pick it over Coachful if most of your work is contract-based individual coaching, sometimes paid by an employer, and group programs are rare.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

6. Satori: a light 1:1 package tool for newer life coaches

Satori homepage introducing its scheduling and client management tool for coaches
Satori's homepage in October 2026.

Satori is a coaching practice tool for scheduling, a client portal, packages and programs, invoices and contracts. Its billing counts only active clients, which helps a newer life coach whose roster changes month to month.

Satori's tiers

Scholar is $0 for people studying for a coaching certification, with unlimited pro bono clients (you apply via a form). Essentials is $33/mo ($27.50/mo annual) for up to 10 active paying clients, verified in October 2026. An older profile lists Pro at $49/mo for 50 active clients and Leader at $124/mo for 150. The trial is 15 days with no card needed during the trial, and Satori offers a refund if requested within 30 days of signing up. Satori takes no fee on client payments; standard Stripe and PayPal fees apply.

That PayPal support is a real reason some life coaches choose it, since many international clients prefer it.

Satori and group work

An older profile lists no landing pages, courses or community, no native mobile app and no native Zoom integration. For group coaching, that means the cohort conversation, the course material and the weekly call links all live outside Satori. It is a tidy way to sell and track 1:1 packages, less so a home for a 15-person group.

Pick it over Coachful if you are still in certification and want Satori's Scholar tier for pro bono clients, you need PayPal, or you coach almost entirely 1:1.

7. CoachAccountable: deep 1:1 accountability, priced per client

CoachAccountable homepage introducing its coaching back office software
CoachAccountable's homepage in October 2026.

CoachAccountable is a coaching back office with sessions, action plans, metrics, worksheets, courses, invoicing and agreements. Public reviewers rate it 4.8 on Trustpilot from 47 reviews, and it is known for detailed accountability tooling.

The per-client pricing ladder

As listed in October 2026, plans are based on active clients: Starter $20/mo for 2, Level 1 $40/mo for 5, Level 2 $70/mo for 10, Level 3 $120/mo for 20, Level 4 $250/mo for 50 and Level 5 $400/mo for 100. The trial is 30 days with no card and no limits. Transaction fees are not stated on the pricing page; processor fees apply.

This model is fair for a coach with eight private clients. It gets expensive the moment you run a cohort: 40 group members count as 40 active clients, which puts you on Level 4.

What a cohort coach would miss

An older profile lists no native mobile app and no landing pages, website or marketing automation, so your application funnel and email sequences live elsewhere. CoachAccountable also states (in an older profile) that it is not HIPAA compliant. Its action plans and metrics are strong for individual work, but there is no community feed or cohort chat listed.

Pick it over Coachful if you coach a small roster 1:1 with detailed action plans and numeric metrics, and group programs are not part of your plans.

8. Skool: a cheap, gamified community for life coaches building an audience

Skool homepage introducing its community, classroom and calendar platform
Skool's homepage in October 2026.

Skool puts a community, a classroom and a calendar in one group, with leaderboards and levels that reward participation. Some life coaches use a free Skool group as a top-of-funnel audience and a paid group for the program.

Skool's two plans and their fees

As listed in October 2026, Hobby is $9/mo ($7.50/mo annual) and Pro is $99/mo ($82.50/mo annual), both with unlimited members, courses, videos and live calls. Payments go only through Skool Payments: Hobby charges 10% + 30¢ on all transactions, and Pro charges 2.9% + 30¢ up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900. Fees are non-refundable. The pricing page shows "Try for free" buttons, but the trial length and card requirement were not stated. Public reviewers give it 1.6 on Trustpilot from 54 reviews.

Limits that matter for a paid program

On Hobby, a cohort sold for, say, $600 (an example) loses $60.30 per seat in Skool fees. There is no custom-domain website, no funnels, no email automation and no public API. There are no 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits or check-ins, so personal goals and weekly reflections end up in comment threads.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a very low-cost community to grow an audience before you charge, and you are comfortable with Skool's fees once you charge.

We compare more community tools in community platforms for life coaches.

9. Heartbeat: community with cohort courses and live rooms

Heartbeat is a community platform with discussions, courses, documents, events, revenue pages, workflows and payments. Its course builder supports evergreen, drip and cohort-based courses, which maps neatly to a life coaching cohort that moves through modules together.

Heartbeat's plans, as listed

From its pricing page, checked for this guide: Build is $49/mo ($40/mo billed annually) for up to 350 members, with unlimited channels, courses, events and documents, 5 automation workflows, a custom domain and Zoom and Google Calendar integrations. Grow is $149/mo ($124/mo annually) for up to 5,000 members, unlimited workflows, native video hosting and removal of Heartbeat branding. Scale is $849/mo ($766/mo annually) with unlimited members and a white-label branded app. Heartbeat keeps 5% of payments on Build, 2.5% on Grow and 1.25% on Scale, on top of Stripe's fee. A 14-day trial needs no card.

Using Heartbeat for a life coaching group

Voice and video rooms hold up to 256 attendees, private channels keep paid cohorts separate from free members, and automated groups can control access. What we did not find in the listed features: 1:1 session booking, coaching agreements, or per-client habits and check-ins. A hybrid package still needs a scheduler and somewhere to keep private notes, and the 5% fee on Build adds up on a higher-priced cohort.

Pick it over Coachful if your program is a cohort course plus community, with no private sessions, and you value drop-in voice rooms.

10. Podia: a simple storefront that also runs a community

Podia sells online courses, digital downloads, coaching, community and events from one website with built-in email. For a life coach whose income mixes a $27 workbook (an example), a mini course and a small paid group, it is an approachable all-in-one store.

Podia's three tiers

From its pricing page, checked for this guide: Mover is $49/mo ($42/mo billed annually) with a 5% transaction fee, 50 products, 25 community spaces and up to 100 email subscribers. Shaker is $99/mo ($84/mo annually) with no Podia fees, 150 products and 500 email subscribers. Earthquaker is $179/mo ($150/mo annually) with unlimited products and 1,000 subscribers. Larger email lists cost more. Every plan includes community, courses, coaching, events, a website and blog, and a custom domain. Payments run through Stripe or PayPal, and there is a 14-day trial without a card.

Where Podia falls short for cohorts

Podia's coaching feature focuses on letting clients book and pay. It does not list multi-week programs with daily tasks, habits or check-ins, client status tracking or coaching agreements with e-signature. The subscriber caps are also low for a coach who grows through a lead magnet: 100 subscribers on Mover fills quickly.

Pick it over Coachful if you mainly sell digital products, need PayPal, and run group coaching as a light extra rather than a structured program.

How do the features compare side by side?

The table below focuses on what a life coaching cohort uses each week. "Not listed" means we did not find the feature in the vendor's current pricing page or profile.

What does each platform cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

These are monthly list prices for the cheapest plan that fits each roster, before payment processing. Community tools do not cap by client count, but they also lack the booking, contracts and check-ins a hybrid offer needs, so their real stack costs more than the number shown.

An example of how fees change the picture: a 15-person cohort at $500 each (an illustrative price) brings in $7,500. A 10% Skool Hobby fee takes $750 of that, and a 5% fee on Heartbeat Build or Podia Mover takes $375. How would a life coach set up a group program in Coachful, step by step?

Here is an example setup for an 8-week cohort called "Clarity Reset", for 12 to 15 people, with a group call every Tuesday and one private session per person. The names and numbers are illustrative.

A laptop showing a monthly coaching session calendar on a home-office desk next to a paper planner
Coachful's session calendar with group calls and 1:1 sessions on a laptop beside a paper planner.
  1. Request the build. On Create, choose "We'll build it for you" and ask for an application funnel, a sales page and the 8-week program outline. Attach your existing copy and photos. You review and adjust what the team builds.
  2. Shape the eight weeks. Give each week a goal (Week 1: where you are now, Week 2: values, Week 3: energy, and so on), two or three daily tasks, and one habit such as a five-minute evening journal. Start from one of the more than 40 program templates if you prefer.
  3. Add check-ins. Turn on a morning check-in ("What is one thing you will do for your clarity today?") and an evening one ("What did you notice?"). These answers land on each client record.
  4. Set the offer and payment. Create the offer with a one-time price and a three-part payment plan through your Stripe account. Add a coupon for past clients.
  5. Attach the agreement. Write your coaching agreement with a group confidentiality clause, a "coaching is not therapy" line and your referral process, then send it for e-signature before the first call.
  6. Add the intake. Ask a wheel of life style intake and two open questions at application. Michelle can brief you on each member before your first call.
  7. Schedule the calls. Schedule the Tuesday group calls with built-in video or auto-created Zoom or Meet links, and a private session type with session credits so each member can book their 1:1.
  8. Open the community. The cohort group appears when the first person enrols. Pin a welcome post and a "share your Week 1 win" thread.
  9. Watch status weekly. Every Monday, check who is thriving and who is quiet or at risk, and send those people a short direct message.
  10. Plan the next step. In Week 7, open enrolment for a monthly membership circle and send an email sequence to the cohort.

What mistakes do life coaches make when choosing a group platform?

  • Choosing a community tool and calling it a program. A feed is not a curriculum. Without weekly goals, daily tasks and check-ins, cohorts lose momentum after week three.
  • Ignoring transaction fees. A 5% or 10% fee on a higher-priced cohort can cost more each launch than a full platform costs each month.
  • Paying per client for group work. Per-client pricing makes sense for 1:1. For a 40-person cohort it can triple your software bill.
  • Skipping the agreement. Group programs need confidentiality terms and a clear scope line. Send the agreement before the first call, not after someone shares something sensitive.
  • Treating coaching as therapy. If a member's needs point to mental health care, refer. Keep clinical information out of your coaching platform.
  • Splitting the journey across five apps. Each extra login is a place where a member stops showing up.
  • Forgetting the next step. Decide before launch where graduates go: a membership, a second cohort or private coaching. See membership platforms for life coaches for that stage.

Which group coaching platform should a life coach choose?

Choose Coachful if your group offer is a structured program with private touchpoints and you want booking, agreements, payment, cohort, community and renewal in one login, set up for you by the white-glove team. Choose Circle or Mighty Networks if a large community is the product and private coaching lives elsewhere. Choose Kajabi or Podia if you are mainly selling courses and digital products. Choose Simply.Coach, Satori or CoachAccountable if you coach mostly 1:1. Choose Skool or Heartbeat for a low-cost community, once you have checked what their fees do to your launch revenue.

If you run free workshops to fill your cohorts, our webinar platforms for life coaches guide covers that step.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best group coaching platform for life coaches?

For most life coaches running cohorts or hybrid group and 1:1 packages, Coachful is the strongest fit because it combines programs with habits and check-ins, community, booking, agreements and payments in one login. Community-first tools such as Circle and Mighty Networks are better if a large membership is your only product.

Can I run group and 1:1 coaching on the same platform?

Yes, but only some platforms do both. Coachful supports group programs, cohort communities and 1:1 booking with session credits. Community platforms such as Circle, Mighty Networks and Skool do not offer 1:1 scheduling, and 1:1 tools such as Satori list no community.

Do I need a community feature for a life coaching group?

Most cohorts benefit from one, because members support each other between calls. But a community alone does not create progress. Pair it with weekly goals, daily tasks and check-ins so each person has something to act on.

How many people should be in a life coaching group?

There is no fixed rule. Smaller groups of six to ten allow more individual attention and suit masterminds, while larger cohorts work when the program carries more of the structure between calls. Pick a size you can follow up with personally each week.

Is a group coaching platform HIPAA compliant?

None of the platforms here is positioned as a clinical record system, and Coachful is not HIPAA-certified. Life coaching is not medical or mental health treatment, so keep any clinical information in a system built for it and refer clients who need clinical care.

What should a group coaching agreement include?

At minimum: what coaching is and is not, group confidentiality expectations, attendance and refund terms, payment schedule and what happens if someone needs support beyond coaching. Have a local lawyer review it, as rules vary by country and state. Coachful sends agreements for e-signature before the first call.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a done-for-you build included on every plan. You describe what you need (a website, a funnel, a program, an email sequence, a form) and attach references, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design or ad management.

Do group coaching hours count toward ICF credentials?

Check the current ICF requirements for how group coaching hours are counted toward each credential. Coachful tracks your coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours.

Which platform is cheapest for a small life coaching group?

On list price, Skool Hobby at $9/mo is the cheapest, but it takes 10% + 30¢ of every sale. Once you add a scheduler, contracts and email to a cheap community tool, a complete platform is often the lower total cost. Compare using the 5, 15 and 40 client table above.

Can I move my existing clients and content to Coachful?

Yes. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and you can export full client data as a ZIP at any time. The white-glove team can also rebuild your website or funnel inside your account.
