12 Best Payment Platforms for Mindset Coaches (2026 Guide)

12 Best Payment Platforms for Mindset Coaches (2026 Guide)

The best payment platforms for mindset coaches do more than take a card. A mindset client usually buys a container (a 3 or 6 month program, often on a payment plan), signs an agreement that says coaching is not therapy, and then needs support between calls: reflection prompts, daily check-ins, habits. So the deciding question is simple. Does the tool that takes the money also hold the agreement, the program and the renewal, or will you glue four tools together and chase failed installments by hand?

Our pick is Coachful, because payments run through your own Stripe account with a 0% Coachful platform fee, and the same login holds the agreement, the booking, the program with check-ins and habits, and the community your client renews into. We make Coachful, so weigh that, but every other tool below is described from its own pricing page and documentation, with the price as listed. If you only need a checkout link, Stripe Payment Links or Gumroad may be enough; if you sell mostly courses, Kajabi or Podia make sense. The sections below show where each one fits.

What does a mindset coach's client journey need from a payment platform?

It needs four things, one per stage: a cheap way to sell a small first step, a checkout that handles payment plans for a higher-priced container, a way to deliver the work between sessions, and recurring billing for clients who stay. Most tools are strong at one or two of those stages and silent on the rest.

Attract: the free or low-priced first step

Mindset coaches usually earn trust with something small: a free "quiet the inner critic" masterclass, a limiting-beliefs workbook, a 5-day journaling challenge, or a low-priced workshop. Payment-wise, this stage needs a lead-magnet funnel that collects an email, an optional small paid product with an order bump, and pixel tracking if you run ads. If this stage lives in a different tool from your checkout, the person who downloaded your workbook becomes a separate record from the person who later buys your program.

Enroll: the discovery call, the agreement and the payment plan

The sale itself usually happens on a discovery or clarity call. After it, the client needs one link that takes them through a coaching agreement (with your scope line: coaching is not therapy or mental health treatment), then a checkout offering paid in full or a payment plan. Payment plans matter more in this niche than in most, because mindset programs are sold on outcome and duration rather than session count, and clients often prefer three or six installments. If you need background on the payment models themselves, see how coaches get paid.

Deliver: the work between sessions

Mindset change happens in the days between calls. Clients journal, notice thought patterns, practice a morning routine, and report back. A payment tool does not need to deliver that, but if it does not, you pay for a second platform and your client logs into two places. The useful questions: can a paying client land straight in a program with weekly prompts, daily check-ins and habit trackers, and can you see who has gone quiet before the next installment fails?

Retain: renewals, alumni and memberships

Graduates of a 12-week program often want lighter ongoing support: a monthly membership, an alumni group, a quarterly reset session. That means subscriptions, coupons for returning clients, and a community they can stay in. Our guides to membership platforms for mindset coaches and community platforms for mindset coaches cover that stage in depth.

A scope note that belongs in your checkout flow. Mindset coaching is not psychotherapy, counselling or treatment for anxiety, depression or trauma. Put a plain scope line in your agreement, and refer a client to a licensed mental health professional if they describe symptoms that affect daily functioning, past trauma that keeps resurfacing, substance dependence or thoughts of self-harm. In the United States, the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available by call or text. A payment platform cannot make that judgement, but it can make sure every client signs the scope line before they pay.

Which payment platforms cover which stage?

Coachful is the only tool in this list that covers all four stages in one login; the others cover one to three. "Partial" means the tool can do it with workarounds or on a higher plan.

How did we rank these payment platforms?

We weighted four things a mindset coach feels every month: one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions, total stack cost once you add the tools each option is missing, and setup effort. Fees per transaction count too, but a 0% platform fee on a tool that forces you to buy three others is not a saving.

We have not run paid accounts on every tool for this article. Prices and limits come from each vendor's pricing page as listed in October 2026 (for HoneyBook, Kajabi, Paperbell, Podia and Stan Store) or fetched in early November 2026 (for Practice Better, SamCart, Dubsado, Calendly, Stripe and Gumroad). Where a page did not show something, we say so. For the general version of this list, see the best payment platforms for coaches.

1. Coachful: one login from first masterclass to renewal

Coachful is a coaching platform where payments are one part of a single system. One subscription covers booking, payments, coaching agreements, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and Michelle, the built-in AI assistant. You get one login; your client gets one app with your branding. For a mindset coach, that means the person who downloads your journaling workbook, books a clarity call, signs your agreement, pays the first installment and opens week one of your program is the same record the whole way through.

How payments work

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect account (or Razorpay, common for coaches in India). Since August 2026 Coachful charges a 0% platform fee on sales, so you pay only Stripe's or Razorpay's processing. Supported options include one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax. Every transaction creates an invoice, and you can send manual invoices for a corporate workshop or a custom package. There is no PayPal, which matters if a large share of your audience pays that way.

For a mindset program, the useful combination is a payment plan plus an order bump. A client buying a 12-week program can choose paid in full or installments, and tick a box at checkout to add a recorded meditation library or a printed workbook. Coupons handle the "returning client" discount when a graduate rejoins for a second round. Here is a short walkthrough of invoices and payment records:

Agreements before the first call

Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first session and are stored on the client record, next to payments, intake answers and session notes. This is where your scope line lives: coaching is not therapy, here is when I refer, here is the refund and cancellation policy. More on drafting one in coaching contracts.

Delivery between sessions

This is the part pure payment tools cannot do. Multi-week programs carry weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. A mindset client might get a morning intention prompt, an evening reflection check-in, and habit trackers for meditation and journaling. Each client is marked thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you can reach out to someone who stopped checking in before their next installment comes due. Courses with drip lessons, downloads, audio and books sit in the same client home, and cohort groups are created automatically when people enroll in a group program.

Two extras suit this niche. The AI Coach is an AI version of you that selected clients can chat with between sessions, configured by you. Michelle can brief you before each session from the client's live check-ins and notes, and can give optional private feedback on your own coaching against ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8. If you are working toward an ICF credential, Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports a client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours.

Attract and retain

The section-based website builder (30 designed homepage templates, blog, custom domain) connects to booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with Meta Pixel and UTM tracking. Email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences follow up after the masterclass. Instagram automations can send your workbook or booking link by DM when someone comments a keyword, and that person lands in the same lead records. At the other end, subscriptions and the community feed with group chat and video events give graduates a place to stay.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", and describe what you want built: a website, a masterclass funnel, a program sales page with a payment plan, a 12-week program, an email sequence, a lead quiz. Attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files (logo, photos, existing copy), and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. One recent build: a somatic coach leaving Kajabi had their homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected. Read more about the free white-glove service.

Limits to know. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not your own App Store account. There is no multi-stage sales deal board for large teams and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration. Plans are flat monthly, lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and team plans add coach seats (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). There is a free trial, and clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. See how it fits your practice on the Coachful for mindset coaches page or the coaching payment software overview.

2. Kajabi: the course-first option for large audiences

Kajabi suits a mindset coach whose business is already mostly courses, memberships and launches, and who has a list big enough to justify the price. It bundles courses, a community, a website, funnels and email marketing with its own payment processing.

Kajabi homepage as it appeared in October 2026, showing its main headline and sign-up call to action
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Basic costs $179/month ($143/month annual) for 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community and 0 AI credits. Growth is $249/month ($199 annual) for 50 products and 25,000 contacts, and Pro is $499/month ($399 annual). Kajabi Payments in the US costs 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, falling to 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. If you connect a different processor (other than PayPal), Kajabi adds its own fee on top: 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth, 0.5% on Pro. The standard trial is 14 days, with some features locked until a paid plan starts.

For a mindset launch (a free masterclass, a paid challenge, then a program with payment plans), Kajabi has the pieces. The gap is delivery: coaching in Kajabi is products and communities rather than per-client plans, and there is no habit tracking or daily check-in. Plan on a separate e-signature tool for your agreement unless you confirm Kajabi covers it. Five products on Basic also fills quickly once you count a lead magnet, a challenge, a program, a membership and a meditation library. Public reviewers on Trustpilot give it 3.4 from 2,347 reviews (seen October 2026). Our course platforms for mindset coaches guide goes deeper on the course side.

Pick it over Coachful if your revenue comes mainly from evergreen courses sold to thousands of contacts, you rarely run 1:1 or small-group programs, and you want a large ecosystem of course-focused templates and integrations.

3. Stan Store: selling from your Instagram bio

Many mindset coaches find clients on Instagram, and Stan Store was built for exactly that moment: someone taps your bio link and buys a workbook, a paid call or a mini-course from their phone.

Stan Store homepage as it appeared in October 2026, showing its main headline and sign-up call to action
Stan Store's homepage in October 2026.

Pricing as listed in October 2026 is simple. Creator costs $29/month ($25 annual) with unlimited products and customers; Creator Pro is $99/month ($79 annual). Stan takes 0% of sales, so you pay only Stripe or PayPal processing, and PayPal support is a real plus if your audience prefers it. A 14-day trial is offered on either plan, and the first month is charged when the trial ends. Public reviewers rate it 4.7 from 2,205 Trustpilot reviews (seen October 2026).

The catch for this niche is everything after the sale. Email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates are only on the $99 Creator Pro plan. Stan has no contracts, no invoices and no client records, so there is nowhere to store a signed scope agreement. There are no programs with tasks, habits or check-ins, and no team seats. A coach selling a 6-month container on Stan would still need a contract tool, a delivery platform and a way to see who has gone quiet. If social is your main channel, also read our list of platforms to get clients for mindset coaches.

Pick it over Coachful if you mostly sell low-priced digital products from Instagram or TikTok, rarely run multi-month programs, and need PayPal at checkout.

4. Podia: a tidy storefront for courses and sessions

Podia sits between Stan Store and Kajabi: a straightforward storefront for courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and a community, at a lower price than Kajabi.

Podia homepage as it appeared in October 2026, showing its main headline and sign-up call to action
Podia's homepage in October 2026.

Three plans were listed in October 2026. Mover costs $49/month ($42 annual) and charges a 5% Podia transaction fee. Shaker costs $99/month ($84 annual) and Earthquaker $179/month ($150 annual); both have 0% Podia fees. Stripe or PayPal processing (2.9% + 30¢ standard) applies on top. The trial is 14 days with full access and no card. One detail matters for coaches who grow a list through a free masterclass: the included email subscribers are small (100, 500 and 1,000 by plan).

The 5% fee on Mover is worth doing the arithmetic on. On a $1,500 mindset program (an example price), that is $75 per sale, which quickly costs more than upgrading to Shaker. Podia does not offer client habits, check-ins or per-client plans, and an older profile notes no mobile app and no native video calls. You would add a contract tool and keep delivery inside course lessons. Public reviewers give it 4.1 from 153 Trustpilot reviews.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a simple, low-maintenance store for a meditation course and a few downloads, your coaching is occasional, and you prefer PayPal as an option.

5. HoneyBook: proposals for corporate mindset work

Some mindset coaches sell resilience or performance workshops to companies. That work needs proposals, contracts and invoices more than courses, and HoneyBook is a client-management CRM built around that paperwork.

HoneyBook homepage as it appeared in October 2026, showing its main headline and sign-up call to action
HoneyBook's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Starter is $29/month on annual billing (the monthly price was not shown) with unlimited clients and 2 live lead forms. Essentials costs $59/month ($49 annual) for up to 2 team members, and Premium costs $129/month ($109 annual). Payments must run through HoneyBook's own processing. Its page conflicts on card rates: the FAQ says 2.7% + 10¢, while the plan comparison shows 2.9% + 25¢. ACH is 1.5% and instant deposit 1%. The trial is 30 days with no card.

HoneyBook pricing page with Starter, Essentials and Premium plans
HoneyBook's pricing page in October 2026.

For an HR buyer who wants a proposal, a signed contract and an invoice with net terms, HoneyBook works well. For individual clients in a 12-week program, it stops at the invoice: there are no programs, courses, habits, check-ins or community. Note too that the scheduler and automations are not on Starter. Public reviewers rate it 4.1 from 748 Trustpilot reviews.

Pick it over Coachful if most of your income is B2B workshops and speaking, you send formal proposals to companies, and you do not deliver ongoing programs to individuals.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

6. Paperbell: 1:1 packages and contracts, nothing more

Paperbell is the closest direct substitute on this list. It is an all-in-one admin tool for solo coaches: booking, packages, payments, contracts, a client portal and a simple website, at one price.

Paperbell homepage as it appeared in October 2026, showing its main headline and sign-up call to action
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

Paperbell has a single plan at $97/month ($80.83/month annual) as listed in October 2026, with unlimited clients, sessions and packages. It adds no transaction fees beyond Stripe or PayPal processing, and offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. Trial length is not on the pricing page; its help center (July 2026) describes a 7-day trial with the public site offline and client messaging off.

A mindset coach selling a "6 sessions over 3 months" package with a signed agreement will find the flow clean. What you will not find, according to an older profile, is courses, community, or goal and habit tracking, and there is no native mobile app (mobile browser only). That leaves the between-session part of mindset work, the journaling prompts and daily check-ins, to another tool. Public reviewers rate it 3.5 from 14 Trustpilot reviews, a small sample.

Pick it over Coachful if your practice is purely session packages, you never plan to run courses, a group program or a community, and you want PayPal at checkout.

7. SamCart: when the checkout page itself is the product

SamCart is a checkout builder. It does not host programs or book calls; it makes the page where someone pays, with order bumps, upsells and subscription tools.

On its pricing page fetched in November 2026, Core costs $79/month and Pro $199/month, with 25% off on yearly billing. SamPay processing is 2.9% + 30c with no added SamCart fee, and tax collection adds 50 basis points on Core or 35 on Pro. Third-party processors and one-click upsells are Pro features. A "Try it Free" option is shown, but we could not confirm the trial length from the page text. We have no homepage screenshot for SamCart in this article.

For a mindset coach running paid launches, SamCart can raise order value with a workbook bump and a post-purchase upsell to a VIP day. The rest of the journey sits elsewhere: the pricing page lists no agreements, booking or client delivery, so SamCart is always one piece of an assembled stack. Its own page makes conversion claims we have not verified, so treat them as marketing.

Pick it over Coachful if you already run a separate course and community platform you like, sell high volumes through paid ads, and want a dedicated checkout you can A/B test.

8. Practice Better: for coaches inside a health practice

Practice Better is built for practitioners such as dietitians and functional medicine providers, with HIPAA-compliant messaging, charting and superbills. It earns a place here for mindset coaches who work alongside a clinic or who also hold a clinical license.

Practice Better homepage as it appeared in October 2026, showing its main headline and sign-up call to action
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Its pricing page, fetched in November 2026, lists a free Sprout plan for 3 clients, Starter at $35/month ($25 annual) for 10 clients, Professional at $69/month ($59 annual) for 300 clients, Plus at $99/month ($89 annual) with unlimited clients, and Team at $155/month ($145 annual) with 2 practitioner licenses. Practice Better Payments is powered by Stripe; deposits and payment plans appear from Professional. The Team plan has a 30-day trial and other paid plans 14 days. Transaction fees were not stated on the page, and SMS reminders cost extra per text.

For a mindset coach without a clinical role, much of Practice Better (ePrescribe, superbills, charting) is unused weight, and its programs lean toward health protocols rather than reflection work. If you do work under a clinical umbrella, its HIPAA posture is the real reason to choose it, because Coachful is not HIPAA-certified.

Pick it over Coachful if you need HIPAA-compliant records because you work within a licensed clinical practice, or you bill insurance.

9. Dubsado: paperwork automation at an annual price

Dubsado handles forms, contracts, invoices and workflows for service businesses, and it is cheap if you pay yearly.

The pricing page fetched in November 2026 shows Starter at $335/year and Premier at $525/year, with unlimited projects and clients. Extra brands cost $10/month each, and the first 3 additional users are included. The trial lasts 21 days on Premier, with no card. Monthly prices and payment processing fees were not shown in the page text we read, so check them before you commit. There is no Dubsado screenshot in this article.

A mindset coach can build a tidy enrollment workflow: discovery-call questionnaire, proposal, agreement, invoice, welcome email. After that, Dubsado has nothing to deliver; your program content, check-ins and community live somewhere else, which brings back the second login and the second bill.

Pick it over Coachful if you mainly want to automate paperwork on a tight annual budget and you deliver your coaching through calls and email alone.

10. Calendly: charging for one call at booking

Calendly is a scheduler that can take payment when someone books, which covers the paid clarity session or single breakthrough call that some mindset coaches sell.

Fetched in November 2026, its pricing page lists a Free plan (one event type, one calendar), Standard at $10 per seat per month billed yearly, and Teams at $16 per seat per month billed yearly, with Enterprise from $15k a year. On paid plans, payments connect through Stripe or PayPal, and the page lists payment links for one-off fees, prepaid meeting packages and invoices. Calendly adds no stated fee of its own; processor fees apply. We did not capture the monthly-billed prices.

For the first paid call, that is enough. For a 3-month container with a payment plan, an agreement and daily check-ins, it is not, and the client record lives in Calendly rather than next to their progress. Many coaches pair it with Stripe Payment Links or Dubsado.

Pick it over Coachful if all you sell is single paid sessions and you already have somewhere else for agreements and delivery.

11. Stripe Payment Links: the no-monthly-fee baseline

Stripe is the processor behind several tools on this list, including Coachful, and its Payment Links let you sell without any platform at all: create a product, copy a link, paste it in an email.

Stripe's pricing page (fetched November 2026) lists 2.9% + 30¢ per successful domestic card transaction, plus 1.5% for international cards and 1% if currency conversion is needed. There is no monthly fee. Klarna installments cost 5.99% + 30¢, post-payment invoices add 0.4% capped at $2 per invoice, and a custom domain for hosted pages costs $10/month. Each dispute costs $15, which matters for programs sold on payment plans (see chargebacks for how disputes work).

Payment Links handle one-time and subscription payments well. They do not send agreements, book calls, deliver a program or tell you that a client has stopped journaling. For a coach with three clients, that is fine; at fifteen, the admin around the link becomes the job.

Pick it over Coachful if you have only a handful of clients, deliver everything on calls, and want zero monthly software cost while you test your offer.

12. Gumroad: a single workbook, no subscription

Gumroad lets you sell a digital product with no monthly charge. For a mindset coach, the typical use is a limiting-beliefs workbook or a guided journal PDF.

Its pricing page (fetched November 2026) lists 10% + $0.50 per transaction for sales through your profile or direct links, and 30% when a new customer finds you through Gumroad's Discover marketplace. On a $27 workbook (an example price), the direct fee is $3.20 per sale. That is reasonable for a side product and expensive for a program: on a $1,500 example program it would be $150.50.

Gumroad has no agreements, scheduling or client delivery beyond downloads. It is an attract-stage tool, useful before you have a platform, and something you outgrow once the workbook buyer becomes a coaching client.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell one or two low-priced digital products, have no coaching clients yet, and want to pay nothing until something sells.

What does each tool cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Software cost alone, per month, using monthly billing where listed. Processing fees (typically 2.9% + 30¢ per card payment via Stripe) apply on top for every tool, and the extra tools each option needs to cover the full journey are in the next section.

All-in-one or assembled: which stack is cheaper for a mindset coach?

An assembled stack looks cheaper until you add the tools for agreements, delivery and email. These recipes use the listed prices above and assume a solo mindset coach with around 15 clients; they are examples, not quotes.

StackToolsMonthly software cost (example)Still missing
Coachful all-in-oneCoachful plus your Stripe accountSolo: $49/month for up to 20 clientsPayPal; HIPAA records
Instagram creator stackStan Store Creator Pro + Calendly Standard + Dubsado StarterAbout $137Program delivery, check-ins, community
Course-led stackKajabi Basic + Calendly Standard + Dubsado StarterAbout $217Habits and check-ins; 5-product cap
Checkout-led stackSamCart Core + Podia Shaker + Calendly StandardAbout $188Agreements, check-ins
Bare-bones stackStripe Payment Links + Calendly Standard + documents and emailAbout $10Agreements, delivery, renewals, a single client record

The bare-bones stack wins on software spend and loses on hours. Every new client means sending a contract by hand, creating a payment link, setting up a shared document for journaling, and remembering to check it. The assembled stacks cost more than many coaches expect and still leave the between-session work uncovered, which is the part of mindset coaching clients notice most. For a related comparison of checkouts, see coaching platforms with payment plans and platforms to sell coaching packages.

How does a mindset coach set up payments in Coachful, step by step?

Here is an example setup for a fictional 12-week program called "Quiet Confidence", sold paid in full or in three monthly installments. The program name and prices are illustrations; set your own.

A laptop showing a client goal with daily momentum and a phone showing check-in flows on a morning kitchen table
A demo client goal with linked tasks and habits on the laptop, and Coachful's coaching flows library with morning and evening check-ins on the phone.
  1. Connect Stripe. Link your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect from payments settings. Turn on Stripe Tax if you need to collect sales tax or VAT, and check with an accountant about what applies where your clients live.
  2. Write the agreement. Create a coaching agreement with your scope line (coaching is not therapy; you refer to a licensed professional when needed), session policy, refund terms and payment plan terms. It goes out for e-signature before the first call.
  3. Build the discovery call. Make a free booking page with availability rules, buffers and time-zone detection, and add intake questions such as "What thought pattern keeps showing up?" and "Are you currently working with a therapist?".
  4. Create the offer. Set up the program as an offer with two prices: paid in full (for example $1,500) or three installments (for example $550 each). Add an order bump for a guided meditation audio pack.
  5. Build the program. Start from one of the 40+ program templates or ask Michelle to draft one. Add weekly goals, a morning intention check-in, an evening reflection check-in, and habits for journaling and meditation.
  6. Add the attract stage. Create a lead-magnet funnel for a free workbook, an email sequence that invites readers to the discovery call, and, if you use Instagram, an automation that DMs the workbook when someone comments a keyword.
  7. Plan the renewal. Create a monthly alumni membership as a subscription with access to the community and a monthly group call, plus a coupon for graduates.
  8. Watch the signals. Each week, check who is quiet or at risk in the client list before installment dates, and send a check-in message rather than waiting for a failed payment.

If you would rather not build steps 4 to 6 yourself, describe the program and funnel in the white-glove request form and attach your existing workbook and copy. Michelle's questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds use AI credits. How do you switch payment platforms without losing clients?

Move new enrollments first and let existing payment plans finish where they are. Active subscriptions and installment plans are tied to the processor and platform that created them, so cancelling them mid-program creates confused clients and failed charges.

  • Set a cutover date. From that date, every new sale goes through the new platform. Old installment plans run to completion on the old one.
  • Export everything first. Download your client list, payment history, signed agreements and course content from the old tool before you cancel it. In Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.
  • Re-sign agreements for renewals. When a client renews or moves to a new program, send a fresh agreement on the new platform so the signed copy sits on their current record.
  • Update every link. Your Instagram bio, email signature, old funnel pages and the thank-you email from your masterclass all point to the old checkout. List them before cutover.
  • Tell clients what changes for them. One short email: where to log in now, what stays the same, and that existing payments are unaffected.
  • Keep the old account until the last installment clears, then cancel and keep the exports.

Which payment platform should a mindset coach choose?

If you sell programs rather than single sessions, choose the platform that holds the whole client journey, because mindset results depend on the work between calls. That is Coachful: payment plans, order bumps and subscriptions through your own Stripe account with a 0% platform fee, agreements signed before the first call, and daily check-ins and habits in the same client app. Its limits are clear: no PayPal, not HIPAA-certified, no permanent free plan.

Choose Kajabi if you run a large course business, Stan Store if you mostly sell small products from Instagram, HoneyBook for corporate workshops, Practice Better if you work inside a clinical practice, and Stripe Payment Links or Gumroad while you are still testing an offer. Frequently asked questions

What is the best payment platform for mindset coaches?

For coaches who sell multi-week programs, Coachful is our pick because payments, agreements, booking, program delivery with check-ins and renewals share one login. If you sell only digital products, Stan Store or Gumroad are simpler. If you sell only single sessions, Calendly with Stripe can be enough.

Should mindset coaches offer payment plans?

Many do, because mindset programs are often sold as 3 or 6 month containers. Put the plan terms in your agreement, including what happens if a payment fails or a client stops attending. Check that your platform retries failed payments and shows you which clients are disengaging.

Does Coachful take a cut of my sales?

No. Since August 2026 Coachful charges a 0% platform fee on sales. You pay only the processing fees of your own Stripe or Razorpay account.

Can I accept PayPal with Coachful?

No, Coachful does not support PayPal. It supports cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe, and Razorpay. If PayPal is essential for your audience, Stan Store, Podia, Paperbell and Calendly list it.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

On every plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build a website, funnel, sales page, program, email sequence or other piece inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. You describe it and attach up to 8 links and 10 files. The team invents nothing, such as testimonials or prices, and it does not include video recording, logo design or ad management.

Do I need a coaching agreement before taking payment?

It is strongly advisable. A mindset coaching agreement should state that coaching is not therapy, when you refer to a licensed professional, your cancellation and refund policy and the payment terms. Laws vary by state and country, so have a local lawyer review your template.

Is any of these platforms HIPAA-compliant?

Practice Better advertises HIPAA-compliant messaging and is built for clinical practitioners. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA. Most mindset coaches do not handle protected health information, but if you work within a licensed practice, use a clinical system for those records.

How much do payment processing fees cost?

Stripe lists 2.9% + 30¢ per domestic card transaction, with 1.5% added for international cards and 1% for currency conversion, as fetched in November 2026. Some platforms add their own fee on top, such as Podia's 5% on Mover or Gumroad's 10% + 50¢. Check each platform's page before you price your program.

How should a new mindset coach price a program?

Start from the outcome and the time involved: count your sessions, the review time for check-ins, and any group calls, then set an hourly floor you need to earn. Compare that with what similar coaches publicly list, and offer a paid-in-full price slightly below the installment total. Test with your first few clients and adjust.

Can I sell a membership after my program ends?

Yes, on platforms with subscriptions. In Coachful, graduates can move into a monthly subscription that includes the community, group calls or courses, and coupons can give returning clients a discount.
