Best Payment Platforms for Wellness Coaches: 7 Options Ranked

Best Payment Platforms for Wellness Coaches: 7 Options Ranked

The best payment platforms for wellness coaches do more than charge a card. They take a deposit or a full fee for a multi-week reset, split it into instalments the client can actually afford, renew a monthly membership without chasing, and then hand the paying client straight into the habits, check-ins and sessions they bought. If a platform only collects money and leaves delivery to three other apps, you pay for it twice: once in subscriptions and again in admin.

Our pick is Coachful, because it puts checkout, payment plans, subscriptions, agreements and the client's wellness program behind one login and one branded client app, with 0% platform fee on top of Stripe or Razorpay processing. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and use the five-question checklist below to test the ranking against your own practice. The other six options (Stan Store, Podia, Paperbell, Kajabi, HoneyBook and Everfit) each win for a specific kind of wellness business, and each section ends with the case for picking it instead.

If you want the broader view across every coaching niche, start with our parent guide to the best payment platforms for coaches. This article stays with wellness: sleep, stress, movement, nutrition habits, menopause and midlife, burnout recovery and similar whole-person work.

What do wellness coaches need from a payment platform?

Wellness coaches need a payment platform that matches how wellness change happens: slowly, through repeated small actions, over weeks or months. That shapes billing in four ways that a generic checkout page does not handle well.

  • Programs, not single sessions. Most wellness offers are packaged: a 6-week sleep reset, a 12-week stress program, a 90-day midlife plan. The client pays for an outcome window, so the platform needs packages and payment plans, not just per-hour booking.
  • Recurring support after the program. Clients who finish a reset often want ongoing accountability. That means monthly subscriptions that renew automatically, with an easy way to pause, cancel or refund.
  • Delivery between sessions. The value in wellness coaching sits in daily habits, morning and evening check-ins and weekly reflections. If the payment tool cannot open access to that delivery, you will be copying clients into a second app by hand.
  • Clear scope and paperwork. Wellness work borders on health care. A signed coaching agreement that states what coaching is and is not should be in place before the first session, and the client should know when you will refer them on.

A note on scope, because it affects which tool you choose. Wellness coaching is not medical treatment, therapy or dietetics. Coaches support behaviour change; they do not diagnose, prescribe or treat. Refer a client to a doctor or licensed clinician when they report symptoms that need assessment, signs of disordered eating, changes to medication, thoughts of self-harm, or any condition that needs clinical care. Coaching platforms in this list, including Coachful, are not built for clinical records or insurance billing. If your work requires protected health information under US law, review the HHS guidance on HIPAA and keep clinical records in a clinical system.

Which questions should you answer before choosing?

Answer these five questions about your practice first. The answers decide the platform more reliably than any feature list.

  1. What do clients buy? (a) a multi-week program with daily habits and check-ins, (b) downloadable guides, meditations or a short course, (c) single paid sessions or session packs.
  2. How do they pay? (a) instalments or a monthly membership, (b) one-time purchases, (c) invoices after proposals, often for workplace wellness clients.
  3. Where does the client do the work between sessions? (a) in an app I control, with habits and check-ins, (b) in a course or community, (c) mostly in sessions, with notes by email.
  4. How many clients will you serve in the next 12 months? (a) under 5, (b) 5 to 15, (c) 40 or more.
  5. How much setup time do you have? (a) very little, I want it built for me, (b) a weekend, (c) I enjoy configuring tools.

How did we choose and rank these seven?

We started from what a wellness client pays for: a period of supported change. Every platform here can take a card payment, so that was not the test. We looked at whether each tool can sell the formats wellness coaches use (programs, memberships, session packs, digital products), whether it supports instalments and subscriptions, what it charges on top of card processing, and what happens after payment: does the client land somewhere they can track habits and check in, or does the coach need another app?

We did not run hands-on tests of the other vendors. Prices, limits and fees come from each vendor's pricing page and help documentation as listed in October 2026, and ratings come from Trustpilot as seen in late October 2026. We name tools in plain text and do not link to vendor sites.

1. Coachful: the best payment platform for wellness programs

Coachful is a coaching platform where the payment and the program live in the same place. A client buys your 12-week reset or monthly support plan on a checkout page, signs the coaching agreement, books their first session and lands in your branded client app with their habits, daily tasks and check-ins already waiting. You see the payment, the signed agreement, the sessions and their check-in history on one client record.

How the money side works

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, so the money goes to you and you keep the processor relationship. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee (since August 2026); only Stripe or Razorpay processing applies. You can sell:

  • One-time purchases, for a program paid in full or a single paid session.
  • Subscriptions, for ongoing monthly wellness support after a program ends.
  • Payment plans, so a client can spread a longer program over instalments.
  • Order bumps and coupons at checkout, for example adding a recipe guide or a meditation pack.
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus Stripe Tax for sales tax and VAT handling.

Every transaction produces an invoice, and you can also send manual invoices, which helps when a workplace wellness client wants a formal bill. Refunds are handled from the same screen. Session credits let a client prepay for a block of sessions and book against it. There is no PayPal option, so if a large share of your clients insist on PayPal, factor that in.

Here is a short walkthrough of the invoices and payments area:

Why payment and delivery belong together in wellness

The reason Coachful ranks first for this niche is what happens after the card is charged. Enrollment in a program can open multi-week content with weekly goals, daily tasks and habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. A client in a sleep program can log a wind-down habit each night and answer an evening check-in; you see their status on the client record as thriving, active, quiet or at risk, which tells you who to message before they drift away and ask for a refund.

A demo client's Habits dashboard: Morning Meditation, Exercise, Journaling and Read 30 minutes, each with progress out of 30 days.

Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record, so your scope statement and referral policy are signed before any money changes hands for sessions. Booking pages include intake questions, time-zone detection, buffers and minimum notice, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Email reminders are standard, and SMS and WhatsApp reminders are available once messaging is enabled.

Beyond one-to-one work, the same membership covers courses with drip and completion tracking, downloads, community feeds and group chats, cohort groups created automatically when clients enroll in a program, group calls and webinars. If your wellness practice includes movement and food, the Fitness & Nutrition pack adds a workout builder, nutrition targets, meal plans, recipes, progress photos and weekly check-ins; see Fitness & Nutrition for the details. A website builder with funnels, a link-in-bio page that sells, email sequences and Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, are all included in your Coachful membership. For the full product picture for this niche, see Coachful for health coaches and our coaching payment software page.

Where Coachful stops

  • Not HIPAA-certified and no BAA. Not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing.
  • No PayPal, and no permanent free plan (there is a free trial).
  • No Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available. Clients log habits and check-ins in the app.
  • The client app runs inside the Coachful app with your branding, not under your own App Store listing.
  • Affiliate tracking covers links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but payouts are recorded manually.

Pricing shape

Plans are flat and monthly. Lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and team plans add coach seats with per-coach availability. Monthly plans cancel in one click. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. Most wellness coaches do not want to spend a month wiring checkout pages, agreements and programs together. From Create > We'll build it for you, you describe what you need (a website, a checkout funnel, a sales page for your reset program, the program itself, an email sequence or a lead quiz), attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. One recent example: a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing got a five-page site in sage and cream with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation. The service does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more in how the free white-glove service works.

Who it is for: wellness coaches who sell programs rather than single hours, and who are tired of paying for a checkout tool, a scheduler, a habit app, an email tool and a course host separately. Who should look elsewhere: practitioners who need clinical records, insurance billing or PayPal checkout.

2. Stan Store: is a link-in-bio shop enough for wellness offers?

For wellness coaches who sell mostly through Instagram or TikTok content, Stan Store is the fastest way to turn a bio link into a shop. You can list a sleep guide, a breathwork audio series, a short course, a membership and a paid discovery call on one mobile-friendly page, and buyers check out without leaving it.

Stan Store homepage introducing its link-in-bio storefront for creators selling digital products and paid calls
Stan Store's homepage in October 2026.

Where it earns its place

Stan Store's appeal for wellness creators is speed and simplicity. Products, customers and sales are unlimited on both plans, and Stan advertises a 0% platform fee ("keep 100% of every sale"), with standard Stripe or PayPal processing applying. PayPal support matters for wellness audiences in some markets, and it is something Coachful does not offer. Paid calls let a follower book and pay for a session in one step. Trustpilot showed 4.7 from 2,205 reviews when seen on 25 October 2026, which suggests most creators are happy with the core experience.

Price as listed

  • Creator: $29/mo, or $25/mo billed annually. One store, unlimited products and customers.
  • Creator Pro: $99/mo, or $79/mo billed annually. Adds email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates.
  • Trial: 14 days on either plan, with the first month charged when the trial ends, per Stan's help center.

The catch for wellness programs

Stan Store is a storefront, not a coaching workspace. It has no contracts, invoices or client records, so there is nowhere to store a signed agreement with your scope statement. It does not deliver programs with client tasks, habits or check-ins, so a client who buys your 30-day reset gets a product, not a daily practice you can monitor. Email marketing, upsells and discount codes sit on the $99 plan, which narrows the price gap with all-in-one platforms. No team seats are advertised. Many wellness coaches end up pairing Stan with a separate scheduling tool, a habit app and a contract tool, and the stack grows quickly.

Pick it over Coachful if your income comes mostly from low-priced digital products sold to social followers, you need PayPal at checkout, and you do not run multi-week programs where you track each client's habits and check-ins.

3. Podia: a simple storefront for wellness courses and downloads

Podia suits the wellness coach whose business is shifting from one-to-one work toward courses, downloads and webinars. A stress-management course, a yoga nidra audio bundle and a monthly community can all sit on one clean storefront, with coaching sessions sold alongside them.

Podia homepage introducing its storefront for courses, downloads, webinars and community
Podia's homepage in October 2026.

What Podia handles well

Setup is gentle. Podia offers a 14-day trial with full access and no credit card or plan selection required. You can sell courses, digital downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and community access from the same account, and payments run through Stripe or PayPal at standard processing rates (Podia lists 2.9% + 30¢). For a coach who wants to package wellness knowledge into products without a complex build, it is approachable. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 153 reviews when seen on 25 October 2026.

Plans and fees, October 2026

  • Mover: $49/mo ($42/mo annual). 50 products, 500 videos, 25 community spaces, 100 email subscribers included, and a 5% Podia transaction fee.
  • Shaker: $99/mo ($84/mo annual). 150 products, 1,000 videos, 100 spaces, 500 email subscribers, 1 assistant, and 0% Podia fee.
  • Earthquaker: $179/mo ($150/mo annual). Unlimited products, videos, spaces and assistants, 1,000 email subscribers, and 0% Podia fee.

That 5% fee on Mover is worth doing the arithmetic on. As an illustrative example, if you sell $2,000 a month through Mover, the Podia fee alone is $100, which is more than the cost of moving up to Shaker.

What wellness coaches give up

Podia has no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans, so the daily work of a wellness program has to happen elsewhere. Email subscriber allowances are small (100, 500 or 1,000 included), which bites if your lead magnet is a free sleep checklist that brings in hundreds of sign-ups. Per Podia's older profile, there is no mobile app and no native video calls. There are no coaching agreements with e-signature on the client record.

Pick it over Coachful if you mainly sell self-paced wellness courses and downloads, want PayPal alongside Stripe, and do not need to see each client's daily habits or check-ins.

For more on course-led wellness businesses, see our guide to the best course platforms for wellness coaches.

4. Paperbell: package billing for solo wellness coaches

Paperbell is built for solo coaches who sell session packages and want the admin handled: booking, packages, payments, contracts and a client portal under one price. A wellness coach selling "six sessions over three months" fits the package model it was designed around.

Paperbell homepage introducing its client admin tool for solo coaches selling session packages
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

Strengths for package-based wellness work

One plan covers everything, with unlimited clients, sessions, files, packages and traffic. Paperbell states "no additional transaction fees", so you pay only Stripe or PayPal processing (per its older profile). Contracts are included, which suits wellness coaches who want their scope and referral terms signed before sessions start. A simple website is included. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Cost

  • Single plan: $97/mo, or $80.83/mo billed annually.
  • Trial: a "Try For Free" button; the pricing page does not give the length. Paperbell's help center in July 2026 described a 7-day trial with the public site offline and client messages and SMS turned off.

The wellness gap

Paperbell's older profile lists no courses or LMS, no community, and no goal or habit tracking. That is the core issue for this niche: the daily practice that makes a wellness program work has no home in the client portal. There is no native mobile app; clients use a mobile browser. Trustpilot showed 3.5 from 14 reviews when seen on 25 October 2026, a small sample. If you add a habit app and a course host to fill the gaps, the total stack costs more than the headline price suggests. Our Paperbell alternatives page covers the trade-offs in more depth.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell only one-to-one session packages, your clients do their work in sessions rather than between them, and you want PayPal at checkout with contracts and booking handled for you.

Which one looks like you?

5. Kajabi: for wellness brands selling at audience scale

Kajabi makes sense when the wellness business is closer to a media brand: a large email list, a flagship course, a paid community and a regular launch calendar. It is a course, community, website, funnel and email platform built for selling knowledge products at volume.

Kajabi homepage introducing its course, community and marketing platform for knowledge businesses
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

Good fit when

You already have an audience in the thousands and want strong funnels, email and course hosting under one roof. Kajabi Payments handles checkout directly, and higher plans reduce the per-transaction rate. Trials run 14 days per Kajabi's help center; a card is optional, but if entered, Kajabi places an authorization hold and charges when the trial ends. Some features, such as bulk contact import and test emails, stay locked until you activate a paid plan.

What it costs to run

Kajabi planMonthlyAnnual (per month)Key limitsKajabi Payments (US)
Basic$179$1435 products, 2,500 contacts, 0 AI credits2.9% + $0.30
Growth$249$19950 products, 25,000 contacts2.8% + $0.30
Pro$499$399Unlimited products, 100,000 contacts2.7% + $0.30

Using a processor other than Kajabi Payments or PayPal adds a Kajabi fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth or 0.5% on Pro, on top of that processor's own fees.

Limits for one-to-one wellness clients

Kajabi treats coaching as products and communities, not per-client plans. There is no habit tracking and no daily client check-ins, so the coach cannot see that a client stopped logging their evening routine last Tuesday. The Basic plan caps you at 5 products and 2,500 contacts, which a wellness coach with a popular free guide can outgrow quickly. Trustpilot showed 3.4 from 2,347 reviews when seen on 25 October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if your revenue is driven by large course launches and a big email list rather than individual client programs, and you are comfortable with a higher monthly cost in exchange for marketing depth.

6. HoneyBook: invoices and proposals for corporate wellness work

HoneyBook is a client-management tool for service businesses, built around proposals, contracts, invoices and payments. It is useful for the wellness coach whose income comes from workplaces: lunch-and-learn series, team resilience workshops or a quarterly wellbeing retainer billed to an HR department.

HoneyBook homepage introducing its client management, proposal and invoicing tool for service businesses
HoneyBook's homepage in October 2026.

The B2B billing case

A proposal, contract and invoice can go out as one package, which is how corporate buyers expect to purchase. HoneyBook offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card required, per its pricing page FAQ. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 748 reviews when seen on 25 October 2026. If you also run corporate programs, our guide to the best software for corporate wellness coaches goes deeper on that side.

Plans and processing

  • Starter: $29/mo billed annually (the monthly-billing price was not shown). Unlimited clients and projects, 2 live lead forms. The scheduler and automations are not included.
  • Essentials: $59/mo ($49/mo annual). Up to 2 team members, 10 lead forms.
  • Premium: $129/mo ($109/mo annual). Unlimited team members and lead forms, multiple companies.

HoneyBook is the processor, so you cannot bring your own Stripe account. The card rate on the pricing page was inconsistent in October 2026: the FAQ said 2.7% + 10¢ while the plan comparison showed 2.9% + 25¢. ACH is 1.5%, and instant deposit costs 1%.

Why it ranks low for individual wellness clients

There is no coaching delivery: no programs, courses, habits, check-ins or community. An individual client who buys a 90-day reset gets an invoice and a portal, then needs another tool for the actual work. Prices also rose in February 2025, per HoneyBook's older profile.

Pick it over Coachful if most of your wellness revenue comes from organizations that buy through proposals and invoices, and you deliver the work live rather than through an app.

7. Everfit: when wellness means workouts

Everfit is a fitness coaching app with workouts, habits, nutrition and messaging, priced by the number of clients. Wellness coaches whose work is mainly movement and training plans will recognise its structure, but payments are not part of the base product.

Everfit homepage introducing its fitness coaching app with workouts, habits and nutrition
Everfit's homepage in October 2026.

Why movement-led coaches look at it

The free Starter plan covers up to 5 clients for good, and there is a 30-day trial with no contract and no credit card. Habit tracking and nutrition are built in, so a coach running a strength-and-sleep program can deliver it in one app. Paid tiers scale by client count.

Listed pricing

  • Starter: $0, up to 5 clients.
  • Pro: from $19/mo ($16/mo annual) for 5 clients; 10 clients $29, 20 clients $49, 50 clients $95, 100 clients $140, 300 clients $290 per month.
  • Studio: from $105/mo ($88/mo annual) for 50 clients, up to $430/mo for 500 clients.

The payment problem

Payments, automation (Autoflow) and meal plans are paid add-ons, and Everfit's pricing page did not show their prices or any transaction fee in October 2026, so we cannot give you a verified total. There is no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing, which means checkout pages and sales emails live elsewhere. Trustpilot showed 2.7 from 16 reviews when seen on 25 October 2026, a small sample.

Pick it over Coachful if your wellness coaching is mostly training plans, you have five or fewer clients and want a free start, and you are happy to sell through a separate checkout.

What will you pay at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

The monthly platform price changes with client count on some tools and stays flat on others. Figures below are list prices as of October 2026, monthly billing unless noted, before card processing. Add-ons are noted where a wellness coach would need them to take payments or deliver programs.

Platform5 clients15 clients40 clientsWhat else you would need
CoachfulLite: $29/month for up to 5 clientsSolo: $49/month for up to 20 clientsPro: $99/month with unlimited clientsNothing for booking, payments, agreements, habits, courses, community, website or email

Everfit$0 + payments add-on (price not shown)$49 (20-client tier) + add-on$95 (50-client tier) + add-onCheckout pages, website, email, contracts

The "what else you would need" column is where the real difference shows. A wellness coach on Stan Store or Kajabi still needs somewhere for clients to log habits and check in, plus somewhere to store a signed agreement. Each extra tool adds a subscription, a login for the client and a place where data can fall out of sync. If you sell packages online and want a wider comparison on checkout features, see best platforms to sell coaching packages.

How would a wellness coach set this up in Coachful?

Here is a worked example for a hypothetical stress and sleep coach launching a 12-week program with a monthly support plan afterwards. Prices are left to you; a practical way to set one is to estimate the hours you will spend per client across the 12 weeks (sessions, check-in reviews, messages), multiply by the hourly rate you need, and compare that with what similar coaches in your market publish.

  1. Connect Stripe. Link your own Stripe Connect account (or Razorpay) so payments land with you. Turn on Stripe Tax if you need sales tax or VAT handled at checkout.
  2. Write the agreement. Draft a coaching agreement that states coaching is not medical care, lists the situations where you will refer to a clinician, and sets your cancellation and refund terms. Set it to send for e-signature before the first call. Our coaching contracts page shows how agreements sit on the client record.
  3. Build the program. Create a 12-week program with weekly goals, daily tasks and habits such as a wind-down routine and a morning light walk. Add a morning check-in (energy, mood) and an evening check-in (stress, screen cut-off). Start from one of the 40-plus program templates if you prefer.
  4. Create two offers. Offer one is the 12-week program, sold in full or on a three-instalment payment plan. Offer two is a monthly subscription for ongoing support. Add an order bump, for example a guided relaxation audio pack, and a coupon for past clients.
  5. Set up booking. Create a paid session type and a free consultation, with intake questions about current sleep patterns and anything a doctor has advised. Add buffers and minimum notice so you are not booked back to back.
  6. Publish the funnel. Build a checkout funnel or ask for one through the white-glove service. A wellness template such as Sanctuary gives you a calm homepage to point traffic to.
  7. Watch the client record. Once clients enroll, their payments, sessions, check-ins and habit streaks appear on one record. A client who moves from active to quiet is your cue to reach out before the second instalment is due.

What red flags and switching costs should you watch for?

The most expensive mistake is choosing on headline price and discovering the hidden costs after you have 20 paying clients on subscriptions. Watch for these.

  • Percentage fees on lower plans. Podia's Mover plan takes 5%, and Kajabi adds 0.5% to 2% if you use an outside processor. On a growing wellness practice, a percentage fee grows with you.
  • Locked-in processing. HoneyBook runs payments through its own processing. If you leave, recurring billing set up there has to be rebuilt elsewhere. With platforms that use your own Stripe account, the customer relationship stays in your Stripe dashboard, though subscriptions may still need to be recreated on a new platform.
  • Payments sold as an add-on. Everfit and ABC Trainerize list payments as separate paid extras. Check the add-on price before you commit, because it was not shown on the pricing page in October 2026.
  • Subscription migrations. Moving recurring billing is the hardest part of any switch. Clients may need to re-enter card details, and some will not. Plan the move at a renewal boundary and tell clients early.
  • Data you cannot take with you. Ask what export includes. Coachful exports the full client data as a ZIP (roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions and form responses). Other vendors vary; ABC Trainerize's export is reported as incomplete in its older profile.
  • Health data in the wrong place. None of these coaching tools is a clinical record system. If a client shares medical details, record only what you need for coaching and refer them to their clinician for anything clinical.
  • Chargebacks and refund terms. A clear refund policy in a signed agreement is your best defence when a client disputes a charge. Wikipedia's overview of chargebacks explains how the dispute process works.

On card security, every platform here relies on a processor that handles card data under the PCI DSS standard, so you should never store card numbers yourself. On tax, payment platforms record income but do not file for you. In the US, the IRS Self-Employed Individuals Tax Center explains estimated tax and self-employment tax; rules vary by country and state, so check with an accountant.

Which payment platform should a wellness coach choose?

Choose Coachful if you sell wellness programs and want the payment, the signed agreement and the client's daily habits and check-ins in one place. It is the only option here that combines payment plans, subscriptions, 0% platform fee, e-signed agreements and between-session delivery in one login, and the free white-glove build removes most of the setup time.

Choose Stan Store for social-first digital products with PayPal, Podia for a course and download storefront, Paperbell for simple session packages, Kajabi for audience-scale course launches, HoneyBook for corporate invoicing, and Everfit for movement-heavy coaching with very few clients. Coachful in brief. Coachful is a coaching platform for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions: booking, payments, agreements, habits and check-ins, courses, community, website, email and an AI assistant under one subscription, with one branded app for clients. It does not do clinical records, insurance billing, PayPal or wearable sync. To start, take a free trial and request the free white-glove build so the team sets up your site, funnel or program for you.

Frequently asked questions

Can wellness coaches offer payment plans on Coachful?

Yes. Coachful supports one-time payments, subscriptions and payment plans through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, plus coupons and order bumps. Each transaction creates an invoice, and you can issue refunds from the same area.

Does Coachful take a cut of my sales?

No. Since August 2026 Coachful charges a 0% platform fee on sales. You pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing fees, which go to the processor.

What is the free white-glove service?

It is a build service included on every Coachful plan. You describe what you want (a website, funnel, sales page, program, email sequence and more), attach references, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design or ad management.

Can I take PayPal payments as a wellness coach on Coachful?

No. Coachful works with Stripe and Razorpay, which cover cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. If PayPal is essential for your audience, Stan Store, Podia, Paperbell and Kajabi list PayPal support.

Is any of these platforms HIPAA-compliant for wellness clients?

Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, and none of the other tools in this list is positioned as a clinical record system. Wellness coaching is not treatment, so keep clinical information out of coaching tools and refer clients to licensed clinicians for medical concerns.

Which option is cheapest for a wellness coach with a few clients?

Everfit's Starter plan is $0 for up to 5 clients, but payments are a paid add-on whose price was not shown in October 2026. Stan Store starts at $29/mo with a 0% platform fee. Compare the total stack, including any scheduler, contract tool or habit app you would need to add.

Should I charge wellness clients monthly or per program?

Many wellness coaches do both: a fixed-length program paid in full or by instalments, followed by a monthly subscription for ongoing support. Programs set a clear outcome window, and subscriptions keep clients engaged after it ends. Choose a platform that supports both formats so you do not need two checkouts.

How hard is it to switch payment platforms later?

One-time sales are easy to move; active subscriptions are the hard part, because clients often need to re-enter card details. Switch at a renewal date, give clients notice, and check what data export the old platform offers before you cancel.

Do I need a contract before taking payment?

It is strongly advisable. A signed coaching agreement sets scope, refund and cancellation terms and states when you will refer a client to a clinician. Laws vary by location, so have a local attorney review your template.
