Top 5 Membership Platforms for Mindset Coaches in 2026

Top 5 Membership Platforms for Mindset Coaches in 2026

The best membership platforms for mindset coaches do one job that most course hosts and community apps skip: they keep members practising between calls. A mindset membership sells a change in how someone thinks, and that change shows up in small daily reps, such as a morning intention, an evening reflection, or a reframing exercise after a hard meeting. So the deciding question is not "where do I host my videos?" but "where will my members do the work every day, and will I know whether they did it?"

Our pick is Coachful. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and judge the ranking by the criteria we state below. Coachful puts recurring payments, a course library, a community, daily check-ins and habit tracking, 1:1 booking, agreements and email in one login, and members open it inside the Coachful app under your branding. Kajabi, Circle, Mighty Networks and Skool are strong at content and community, but none of them lists per-member habit tracking or daily check-ins in the product data we reviewed in October 2026.

This guide is built as a decision tool. Answer five questions about your practice, see which platform your answers point to, then read the ranked sections, the cost table at 5, 15 and 40 clients, and the red flags that make switching expensive later. If you want the wider category first, our general roundup of membership platforms for coaches compares nine tools on fees and delivery.

What do mindset coaches need from a membership platform?

Mindset coaches need a platform that delivers practice, not just content. Members join for a shift in self-talk, confidence or resilience, and a library of recorded lessons rarely produces that alone. Here is what a mindset membership actually has to hold.

  • Daily prompts and reflections. A morning question ("What story am I telling myself about today?") and an evening review are the backbone of most mindset programs. The platform should send them, collect answers and show you who skipped.
  • Habits with streaks. Journaling, a two-minute breathing practice, a gratitude list. Members stick with habits they can see counting up.
  • Short-form content in several formats. Audio for walks, worksheets for belief audits, a core course for the method. Our guide to fixed to growth mindset exercises shows the kind of material that ends up in a membership library.
  • A small, safe community. Wins threads and accountability pods work well; open forums with hundreds of strangers often do not, because members share personal setbacks.
  • A 1:1 upgrade path. Many mindset coaches run a membership as the entry tier and sell private coaching above it. That needs booking, payments and a coaching agreement in the same place as the membership, or you end up with two client lists.
  • Recurring billing that handles real life. Tiers, coupons and pauses. See our notes on structuring a multi-tier coaching membership and on a fair membership pause policy.

A scope line every mindset membership needs. Mindset coaching is not therapy and not treatment for anxiety, depression or trauma. Put that in your agreement and your community guidelines, and refer a member to a licensed mental-health professional if they describe persistent hopelessness, panic attacks, trauma symptoms, thoughts of self-harm or substance problems. The US National Institute of Mental Health keeps a guide to finding help, and the ICF Code of Ethics asks coaches to be clear about the limits of coaching and to refer when another professional is a better fit. A membership with an open feed needs a moderation plan for exactly these moments.

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

Which five questions should you answer before choosing?

Answer these honestly, in writing, before you open a single pricing page. Each answer removes at least one option.

  1. Is the membership mainly practice or mainly content? If members should check in and track habits daily, you need per-member tracking. If they mostly watch and read, a content host can work.
  2. Will you sell 1:1 coaching alongside it? If yes, count booking, agreements and session payments as part of the platform decision, not a separate tool.
  3. How many members do you expect in 12 months? Under 50, 50 to 500, or well beyond 500. Large audiences change which caps and fees matter.
  4. Do you already have a website, funnels and email? If you are starting from nothing, a platform that includes them saves two or three subscriptions.
  5. How much of each sale can you give away? Some platforms take 0.5% to 10% of member payments on top of card processing. On a recurring product, that fee repeats every month for every member.

Which platform do your answers point to?

Use this table to map your answers to a starting pick. It is a shortlist, not a verdict; the ranked sections below explain the trade-offs.

PickIf your answers look like thisWhy

How did we rank these five platforms?

We ranked on what decides a mindset membership's success, not on feature counts. We did not run hands-on tests; we compared what each vendor documents, the prices listed on their pricing pages in October 2026, and what public reviewers report. One rule shaped the list: a platform had to support recurring paid access to content or community, since that is what a membership is.

Ranked on: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery (check-ins, habits, prompts), total stack cost including platform fees, and setup effort, including Coachful's free white-glove build.

1. Coachful: best overall for mindset memberships built on daily practice

Coachful is the strongest fit when your membership is a practice, not a library. It is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, agreements, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. You work from one login; members open one app with your branding. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than single sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing four to six tools. Our page for mindset coaches shows how the pieces fit this niche.

Daily practice members actually see

The part competitors leave out is where Coachful starts. A membership can run as a multi-week program with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, and morning and evening check-ins. Members see goals with progress bars and streaks, so a 30-day self-talk challenge feels like progress rather than homework. The coaching flows library ships with Welcome, Morning Check-in and Evening Check-in flows you can adapt to mindset prompts.

Each answer lands on the member's client record, alongside goals, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions. Coachful labels every client as thriving, active, quiet or at risk, which matters in a membership: the member who stops checking in on day nine is the one who cancels in month two. You see them before they go. This short walkthrough shows how check-ins are built and assigned:

Content sits in the same place. Courses support modules, lessons, drip release and completion tracking, and you can add downloads, videos, books, AI tools, events and bundles, all delivered into the member's branded home. For a mindset coach that means a guided visualization, a belief-audit worksheet and the core method course live next to the daily check-in rather than in a separate login.

The Resources page lists the content types a coach can add, from courses and audio to worksheets and AI tools (demo account).

Community comes with it: a feed, group chat, direct messages and video events, plus group calls and webinars. When a member enrolls in a program, Coachful creates the cohort group automatically, so each intake of your membership gets its own small room instead of one crowded forum.

Selling and running the membership

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time sales, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax. Coachful takes a 0% platform fee (since August 2026), so only Stripe or Razorpay processing comes off each payment. A 1:1 tier uses booking pages with availability rules, buffers and time-zone detection, two-way calendar sync, built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links, and paid sessions or session credits. A coaching agreement with e-signature goes out before the first call and is stored on the client record.

Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data: she can draft a 21-day mindset program, write the welcome email sequence, summarize recorded sessions and brief you before a call. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. You can also configure an AI Coach, an AI version of you that selected members can chat with between sessions. If you hold or are working toward an ICF credential, Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want, and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, brand guide or existing copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours: a website, a funnel, a membership sales page, a program, a course outline and written material, an email sequence, a lead quiz and more. Nothing is invented; gaps such as testimonials or credentials are left for you to fill. Recent builds include a somatic coach leaving Kajabi who had the homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected, and a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away who got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing. Read how the white-glove service works.

What it will not do

Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing; that rarely affects mindset coaches, but it matters if you also practise as a therapist. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The member app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. It is not a course marketplace, so members will not discover you there. Its affiliate tracking records links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but you pay affiliates yourself.

Price: flat monthly plans; lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and monthly plans cancel in one click. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients. To start, take a free trial and request the white-glove build on day one.

2. Kajabi: best for a large content library and an existing audience

Kajabi suits the mindset coach whose membership is mostly content sold to a big list. It is a course, community, website, funnel and email platform for selling knowledge products, and Trustpilot showed 3.4 from 2,347 reviews when we checked in October 2026.

Kajabi's public homepage, captured in October 2026 for this comparison
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

Why mindset coaches choose it

If you already publish a podcast or a newsletter and want a paid tier of lessons, recorded meditations and community threads, Kajabi puts the product pages, the checkout, the email follow-up and the member area under one roof. Coaches with a growing catalog of courses (a confidence course, a money-mindset course, a membership that bundles both) tend to fit its product-centric model. Growth and Pro add more products, contacts, admin users and AI credits.

Price and fee math

As listed in October 2026: Basic $179/mo ($143/mo billed annually) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 1 website and 0 AI credits; Growth $249/mo ($199/mo annually) with 50 products, 25,000 contacts and 500 AI credits; Pro $499/mo ($399/mo annually) with unlimited products, 100,000 contacts and 1,000 AI credits. Kajabi Payments in the US costs 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% + $0.30 on Growth and 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. Use another processor (PayPal excepted) and Kajabi adds 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth or 0.5% on Pro. The standard trial is 14 days; a card is optional, but if you enter one Kajabi places an authorization hold and charges when the trial ends, and some features such as bulk contact import stay locked until you pay.

Missing pieces for a practice-based membership

Kajabi has no habit tracking or daily client check-ins, and coaching lives inside products and communities rather than per-member plans. You can post a daily prompt in the community, but you cannot see which members answered privately or how their streak looks. Basic's limit of 5 products fills fast once you count a membership, a core course, a lead magnet and a 1:1 offer.

Pick it over Coachful if your membership is a content subscription for thousands of people, you already run a large email list, and you do not need to track individual members' daily practice.

3. Circle: best for a discussion-led mindset community

Circle is the choice when conversation is the product. It is a community platform with courses, events, live streams and paid memberships, rated 4.1 from 129 reviews on Trustpilot in October 2026.

Circle's public homepage, captured in October 2026 for this comparison
Circle's homepage in October 2026.

Spaces, events and courses for a mindset group

A mindset coach can split Circle into spaces: a wins channel, a weekly reframe thread, a course space for the core method and an events space for monthly live sessions. Moderator seats (10 on Professional) help when the community grows past what one coach can read daily. Every self-serve plan lists 2,500 or more AI credits a month.

Cost as listed

Circle's October 2026 pricing shows annual-billing rates: Professional $89/mo, Business $199/mo and Scale $419/mo, with Circle Plus at a custom price. Monthly-billing prices were not captured in our data, so check them before committing. Circle takes 2% of payments on Professional, 1% on Business and Scale, and 0.5% on Circle Plus, plus Stripe processing. A 14-day free trial needs no card.

Watch-outs

There is no 1:1 scheduling or client management back office, and no per-member habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. Branded mobile apps are only on custom-priced Circle Plus. For a mindset coach selling private sessions, that means a separate booking tool, a separate payment flow and a separate client list. Our comparison of community platforms for mindset coaches goes deeper on this category.

Pick it over Coachful if your membership is a large, discussion-heavy community with several moderators, and you sell 1:1 coaching elsewhere or not at all.

Which one looks like you?

4. Mighty Networks: best for livestreamed group sessions

Mighty Networks fits mindset coaches who teach live to groups. It combines community, courses and events, gives members a Mighty-branded app, and showed 3.3 from 219 Trustpilot reviews in October 2026.

Mighty Networks' public homepage, captured in October 2026 for this comparison

Strengths for group mindset work

Livestreaming is built into each plan: 20 hours a month for up to 100 attendees on Launch, 30 hours for up to 200 on Scale, and 40 hours for up to 1,000 on Growth. For a weekly group reset session, a monthly visualization workshop and a course running alongside, that removes the need for a separate webinar tool. Host and moderator seats scale with the plan.

Plans and platform fee

As listed in October 2026: Launch $95/mo ($79/mo billed annually) with 3 hosts and 200 GB storage; Scale $215/mo ($179/mo annually) with 5 hosts and 500 GB; Growth $354/mo billed annually with 10 hosts and 1 TB; Mighty Pro at a custom price. Mighty takes a platform fee of 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, plus Stripe processing. The 14-day trial needs no card and includes Growth plan features.

Trade-offs

There is no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, and no per-member habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. Members use Mighty-branded apps unless you pay for custom-priced Mighty Pro. A trial with Growth features can also make Launch feel smaller once the trial ends, so test on the plan you will actually buy.

Pick it over Coachful if live group teaching to a few hundred people is the core of your membership and individual daily tracking is not part of your method.

5. Skool: best low-cost starting point for a gamified group

Skool is the cheapest way to open a paid mindset group. One group holds a community, a classroom and a calendar, with leaderboards that reward participation. Trustpilot showed 1.6 from 54 reviews in October 2026, a small sample worth reading before you commit.

Skool's public homepage, captured in October 2026 for this comparison

The gamified classroom

Leaderboards rank members by activity in the group. For a confidence or habit-change group, a visible game layer can give early members a reason to post. Members, courses, videos and live calls are unlimited on both plans.

Two plans, very different fees

As listed in October 2026: Hobby costs $9/mo ($7.50/mo billed annually) and charges 10% + 30¢ on every transaction; Pro costs $99/mo ($82.50/mo annually) and charges 2.9% + 30¢ up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900. Payments run only through Skool Payments, fees are non-refundable, and payouts arrive weekly. The trial length and card requirement were not stated on the pricing page when we checked. Here is the arithmetic on an example month of $1,500 collected in 15 member payments: Hobby takes $150 + $4.50 = $154.50 in fees, $163.50 with the subscription; Pro takes $43.50 + $4.50 = $48, or $147 with the subscription. By the same math, Pro becomes the cheaper plan once member sales pass about $1,270 a month.

Where it runs out

Skool has no custom-domain website, no funnels, no email automation and no public API. There are no 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits or check-ins. If you sell private coaching, you will add a booking tool, an email tool and a website, which erases most of the price advantage.

Pick it over Coachful if you want to test a paid group for the lowest possible monthly cost, you are comfortable with fees taken from every sale, and you do not need a website or a private coaching tier yet.

How do the five compare feature by feature?

Membership basics are similar across the list; the gap opens on daily practice and the 1:1 tier. "Not in our data" means the feature was not covered in the vendor information we reviewed, so check the vendor's documentation.

What does a mindset membership platform cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Most membership platforms charge the same at 5 members as at 40, so the real difference is the fee taken from each payment. The table shows the cheapest plan that fits each size, as listed in October 2026, before card processing.

Platform5 clients15 clients40 clientsPlatform fee on member payments

SkoolHobby $9/mo or Pro $99/moHobby $9/mo or Pro $99/moPro $99/moHobby 10% + 30¢; Pro 2.9% to 3.9% + 30¢

Two things the table hides. First, Circle, Mighty Networks and Skool cover community and courses only, so a mindset coach with a 1:1 tier still pays for booking, agreements, email and often a website. Second, percentage fees grow with you: 2% of a membership that collects $4,000 a month (an example figure) is $80 a month, every month. Our guide to payment platforms for coaches explains processing costs in more detail.

How does a mindset coach set up a membership in Coachful, step by step?

Here is one way to set up a practice-led mindset membership with a 1:1 upgrade. The names and structure are an example; swap in your own method.

A desktop monitor showing a coaching flows library and a laptop showing a monthly session calendar on an oak desk
Coachful's coaching flows library and session calendar (demo data) on a monitor and laptop in a quiet home office.
  1. Request the build. Open Create, choose the white-glove option, and describe the membership: "A monthly mindset membership called Steady Mind, a core course, daily check-ins, a sales page and a free five-day reset as a lead magnet." Attach your logo, brand colours and any existing copy.
  2. Shape the core course. Four modules (noticing your self-talk, questioning the story, choosing a new response, building the habit), with lessons dripped weekly so new members are not flooded. The course tools handle drip and completion tracking.
  3. Write the daily prompts. Adapt the Morning Check-in flow to "What is one thing you want to approach with curiosity today?" and the Evening Check-in to "Where did an old story show up, and what did you do with it?"
  4. Add three habits. Five minutes of journaling, a two-minute breathing pause, and one written reframe a day. Members see streaks; you see completion rates.
  5. Turn the membership into a program. Set weekly goals for the first month so each intake has a shared arc. Coachful creates a cohort group on enrollment, which gives each intake its own group space.
  6. Price it. Create a monthly subscription through Stripe Connect, add an annual option, and set a coupon for founding members. Decide your pause rule before launch, not after the first request.
  7. Add the 1:1 tier. Create a paid session type with buffers and minimum notice, plus intake questions. Attach the coaching agreement, including your scope line and referral language, so it is signed before the first call.
  8. Build the funnel and emails. A lead-magnet funnel for the five-day reset feeds an email sequence that invites readers into the membership on day six, with a branch for anyone who clicked the 1:1 link.
  9. Use a vision board in week one. A visual goal exercise suits the first week of a mindset program; Coachful's vision board gallery, shown below with demo boards, gives it a home.
  10. Review status weekly. Filter members marked quiet or at risk, ask Michelle for a briefing on each, and send a personal note. If you are tracking ICF hours, your credential progress updates as 1:1 sessions are logged.

What red flags and switching costs should you check?

The expensive mistakes with membership platforms show up a year in, when moving is hard. Check these before you sign up anywhere.

  • Fees that grow with revenue. A 2% to 10% platform fee looks small at launch and costs more each month the membership grows. Model it at your 12-month target, not your launch numbers.
  • Branded apps behind custom pricing. If a member app with your branding matters, confirm which plan includes it. On Circle and Mighty Networks it is the custom-priced top tier.
  • Contact and product caps. Kajabi Basic caps you at 2,500 contacts and 5 products. A free lead magnet can fill a contact cap faster than a paid membership does.
  • Payment lock-in. Skool processes payments only through Skool Payments. Active subscriptions are the hardest thing to move between platforms, so ask any new platform whether members will need to re-enter card details.
  • No export path for practice data. Check-ins, habit history and notes are the evidence of a member's progress. Coachful exports the full client record (roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions, form responses) as a ZIP; ask other vendors what you can take with you.
  • A community without a crisis plan. Decide who reads the feed, how fast, and what you post if a member discloses something beyond coaching. Pin your referral resources.
  • Two client lists. Running the membership on one platform and 1:1 coaching on another means two records per person and missed upgrade moments. Our guide to client accountability portals for mindset coaches covers why one record matters.

Switching into Coachful is lighter than most moves: clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and the white-glove build can rebuild your sales page and site.

Which membership platform should a mindset coach choose?

Choose Coachful if your membership asks members to practise every day and you want booking, agreements, payments, courses, community, a website and email in one place. It is the only platform on this list with per-member check-ins, habits and status tracking, and the free white-glove build removes most of the setup work. Choose Kajabi for a large content business, Circle for a discussion-first community, Mighty Networks for live group teaching, and Skool for a low-cost test group. For the wider tool stack beyond memberships, read our guide to the best software for mindset coaches.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best membership platform for mindset coaches?

Coachful ranks first because it combines recurring payments, courses and community with daily check-ins, habits and per-member status tracking, which is where mindset work happens. Kajabi is a strong second for content-heavy memberships sold to large lists. The right choice depends on whether your membership is mainly practice or mainly content.

Can I run a mindset membership and 1:1 coaching on the same platform?

Yes, on Coachful: memberships, booking pages, paid sessions, session credits and e-signed agreements share one client record. Circle, Mighty Networks and Skool do not offer 1:1 scheduling or client management, so you would add separate tools there.

Is a community platform enough for a mindset membership?

It can be if your members mainly want discussion and live sessions. If your method depends on daily reflection and habits, a community feed shows who posted, not who practised. Per-member check-ins give you that second view.

How much does a membership platform cost for a mindset coach?

As listed in October 2026, Skool starts at $9/mo with a 10% transaction fee, Circle at $89/mo billed annually, Mighty Networks at $95/mo and Kajabi at $179/mo. Coachful uses flat monthly plans with a client cap on lower tiers (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Add platform fees and any extra tools you need for booking, email or a website.

Does Coachful take a cut of membership payments?

No. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee since August 2026. Members pay through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, and only that processor's fees apply.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

On every plan, the Coachful team will build things inside your account for you, such as a website, a membership sales page, a funnel, a program, a course outline or an email sequence. You describe what you want and attach up to 8 links and 10 files; builds usually take about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing.

Can my members use an app with my branding?

In Coachful, members use the Coachful app with your branding, not an app under your own App Store account. Circle and Mighty Networks offer branded apps only on their custom-priced top plans.

Is mindset coaching the same as therapy?

No. Mindset coaching supports goals, habits and how someone approaches challenges; it does not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions. Refer members to a licensed professional if they describe persistent hopelessness, trauma symptoms, panic or thoughts of self-harm. Our explainer on what mindset coaching is covers the boundary in more detail.

Can I move my membership from Kajabi or Skool to Coachful?

Yes. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and the white-glove build can rebuild your sales page and website. Plan the move of active subscriptions carefully, since members may need to re-enter payment details depending on how your old platform processed them.

Does Coachful track ICF coaching hours?

Yes. It counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours. See our roundup of coaching platforms for ICF coaches for more.
