How to Start an Online Pilates Business: Top 7 Tools in 2026

How to Start an Online Pilates Business: Top 7 Tools in 2026

If you are working out how to start an online Pilates business, the deciding question is not which camera to buy or which social app to post on. It is this: can one system carry a client from the first free class to month six of a membership, including the home practice they do between live sessions? Pilates progress happens in the repetitions nobody watches, so the business that wins online is the one that keeps clients practising between classes, not the one with the prettiest booking page.

Our pick for most independent instructors is Coachful, because it puts the website, booking, payments, agreements, multi-week programs with habits and check-ins, an on-demand course library, a community and email in one login, with your branding in the client's app. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read the six alternatives below: two of them (Arketa and Kajabi) are genuinely better for specific shapes of Pilates business. Every vendor price below is as listed in October 2026.

This guide follows the client journey in four stages (attract, enroll, deliver, retain), shows which tool covers which stage, ranks seven tools, prices each setup at 5, 15 and 40 clients, and ends with a step-by-step build of an online Pilates business in Coachful.

What does an online Pilates business need at each stage of the client journey?

It needs a way to be found, a way to book and pay without back-and-forth, a way to teach live and on demand, and a reason for clients to keep showing up after week three. Most new instructors over-invest in the first stage and under-build the fourth, which is where online Pilates businesses quietly leak money.

Attract: a home base, a free first step and a list

Your social posts send people somewhere. That somewhere should be a simple site with one clear offer, a free first step (a 20-minute intro call, a free "Core Foundations" class, or a short posture assessment) and an email signup. If you teach in a studio today, your existing clients are your first audience; our guide to moving in-person training clients online covers that switch. For growing beyond them, see how to get clients as an online fitness coach.

Two rules apply to marketing email in the US: the FTC's CAN-SPAM compliance guide requires a valid physical postal address, a clear opt-out, and honoring opt-outs within 10 business days. And testimonials must be honest and reflect what clients generally achieve, per the FTC's Endorsement Guides. "Lost 3 inches in 2 weeks" quotes are exactly what those rules are aimed at.

Enroll: booking, payment and a signed agreement before class one

Online Pilates has a screening problem that in-person teaching solves by eye. You cannot see a client's posture as they walk in, so the intake has to do that work: injury history, recent surgery, pregnancy or postnatal status, any diagnosed spinal or joint condition, and what equipment they have at home (mat only, small props, a home reformer). Then comes payment, whether that is a one-off class pack, a six-week program or a monthly membership, and a signed agreement that states what you do and what you do not do.

That last point is the scope line, and it matters more in Pilates than in most coaching niches because so many clients arrive with back pain. Pilates instruction is exercise education, not medical treatment. If a client reports pain that does not settle, a new injury, recent surgery, pregnancy complications or a diagnosed condition, ask them to get clearance from their doctor or physical therapist before continuing, and never promise rehab outcomes. Write a short referral plan before you need it; our online coaching emergency plan is a good template.

Deliver: live classes, an on-demand library and home practice

Online Pilates is usually delivered in three ways at once: live group mat classes on video, an on-demand library of recorded classes, and private sessions where you watch one client closely. The piece most setups miss is structured home practice: a weekly plan of short sequences, a few daily habits (a 10-minute mobility flow, a breathing drill), and a way for the client to send you a clip so you can correct their form without waiting for the next live session. If you are still deciding between live, recorded and hybrid formats, read how to choose your online coaching program format.

Retain: progress clients can see and people they practise with

Pilates results are slow and subtle: better control, less stiffness, a stronger plank hold. Clients stay when they can see that progress (check-ins, streaks, measurements, a coach's comment on a form video) and when they feel part of a group that expects them on Thursday. Retention tools are check-ins, habits, a community, cohort groups for each program intake, and a way to spot clients who have gone quiet before they cancel.

Which tool covers which stage of the Pilates client journey?

Only one of the seven tools here covers all four stages without add-ons; the rest are strong in one or two stages and expect you to bolt on the others. Here is the ranking, then the stage-by-stage view.

Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, support for home practice between sessions, total stack cost at 15 clients, and setup effort (including whether someone will build it for you).

How did we choose and rank these seven tools?

We ranked against one realistic scenario, then checked each vendor's own pricing page and documentation. The scenario is an example, not a client story: a certified mat instructor leaving a studio job with 15 private online clients, one six-week group program ("Core Foundations", eight people per intake), a monthly membership for recorded classes, and plans to reach about 40 paying clients within a year.

For each tool we asked four questions. Can a stranger find the offer, book an intro call and pay without emailing you? Can you run a live class, publish a recorded one and set homework in the same place? Will the client still be practising in week five? And what does the whole stack cost once you add the tools it does not include? We did not run hands-on trials; features come from what each vendor documents, and ratings come from public reviewers (Trustpilot, seen October 2026).

We left out general booking tools and email platforms as standalone picks, because they cover one stage each; they appear in the stack recipes further down. Momence, a studio platform with a Pilates-specific page, was considered but does not publish prices: its pricing page asks you to talk to sales, so we could not compare its cost.

1. Coachful: the whole Pilates client journey in one login

A laptop showing Coachful's monthly session calendar in a bright Pilates studio corner
Coachful's session calendar, filled with demo sessions, on a laptop beside a Pilates ball and towel.

Coachful is the strongest fit for an independent online Pilates instructor because it covers all four stages and, unlike the class-schedule tools, it was built around what happens between sessions. A client who buys your six-week program gets weekly goals, daily tasks, habits and morning or evening check-ins in your branded app, and you see who is practising and who has gone quiet.

What a Pilates instructor would actually use

Programs for home practice. Build multi-week programs with weekly goals ("week 2: neutral spine in every exercise"), daily tasks (a 12-minute mat sequence), habits with streaks, goals with progress bars and morning and evening check-ins. When a client enrolls, Coachful creates a cohort group for that intake automatically, so your Core Foundations group has its own chat from day one.

The client's Programs view in Coachful with a demo group program, its current week and the member list.

Workouts and form feedback. The Fitness & Nutrition pack adds a workout builder with an illustrated exercise library and formats like circuits, intervals and tempo, client workout logging, private progress photos and measurements, weekly check-ins and private form-check video with timestamped coach comments. That last one is the closest thing online to standing beside the mat: a client films their roll-up, and you comment at the second their shoulders lift. Coachful does not supply stock exercise videos; you attach your own demo clips, which for Pilates is a plus, because your cueing is the product.

Live classes and privates. Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync. Sessions get built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Group calls and webinars run from the community, and paid sessions or session credits work as class packs. Intake questions on the booking form are where your injury and equipment screening goes. Reminders go by email, plus SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp one hour before once messaging is enabled. See Coachful's scheduling for the details.

An on-demand library. Courses with modules, lessons, drip release and completion tracking hold your recorded classes, delivered into the client's branded home, alongside downloads and events. Bundle a course with a program or a monthly subscription and you have a membership. More on that at Coachful for online courses.

Selling and paperwork. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax. Coachful takes a 0% platform fee (since August 2026), so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Agreements with e-signature go out before the first session and are stored on the client record (see coaching contracts).

Getting found. A section-based website builder with 30 designed homepage templates, a blog, custom domain and SEO settings; booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixel and UTM tracking; a link-in-bio page that sells; and email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with branching and A/B splits.

Keeping clients. Each client record shows goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from that live data: it can brief you before a private session, draft a re-engagement email to a quiet client or outline a new program. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.

This short walkthrough shows how a program is put together in Coachful:

Where Coachful falls short for Pilates

Be clear-eyed about the limits. There is no stock Pilates video library, so you film everything. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available. It is not HIPAA-certified, so it is not the place for clinical records if you work as a physical therapist doing Pilates-based rehab. Payments are Stripe or Razorpay only, with no PayPal. The client app is your branding inside the Coachful app, not an app under your own App Store account. And it is not a front-desk system for a physical studio with rooms, point of sale and staff payroll.

Price and plans

Plans are flat and monthly, lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and team plans add seats if you hire a second instructor. For our 15-client scenario the cheapest fit is Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients. Monthly plans cancel in one click, and there is a free trial.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create, choose "We'll build it for you", and describe what you want: a website, a funnel, a program, a course outline, an email sequence, a lead quiz or something else. Attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files (logo, photos, class descriptions, your bio), and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not cover filming your classes, logo design or running ads. One recent build gives a sense of scale: a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing got a five-page site in sage and cream with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation. More in how the white-glove service works.

2. Arketa: the closest thing to a studio front desk, online

Arketa is built for yoga, Pilates and boutique fitness studios, and its Individual plan is the most Pilates-shaped option here if your business is mostly a class timetable. Its pricing page lists class, private and event scheduling, a client CRM, an unlimited on-demand library, class packages and memberships, programs, workshops and events, embeddable booking widgets and livestream class management.

Arketa pricing page with the Individual plan and custom-priced Studio plans
Arketa's pricing page in October 2026.

Pricing, fees and plan limits

The Individual plan is listed at $49/mo billed annually (the page says annual saves 17%; the monthly-billing figure is not shown) with one team-member login. Arketa charges Individual accounts a 3% transaction fee on top of Stripe's processing, which the page gives as 2.9% plus $0.30 in the US. All plans renew month to month unless you choose annual. Studio Core, Growth and Suite plans are custom-priced after a demo. Email and text campaigns, automated workflows and lead pipelines appear in Studio Growth, and a custom branded app and website sit in Studio Suite or as add-ons. Integrations listed include Mailchimp, Google Calendar, ClassPass, Zoom and Zapier.

The trade-off

That 3% fee adds up quickly on a membership business: on an example $3,000 month it is $90 before Stripe. Arketa's pricing page does not document per-client habits, daily check-ins or e-signed agreements on the Individual plan, so home-practice accountability is thinner. Marketing tools beyond booking widgets mostly sit above the Individual tier.

Pick it over Coachful if your business is a live class timetable with drop-ins, waitlists and a recorded library, you expect to open a physical studio with rooms and staff, or you want to list classes on ClassPass.

3. Kajabi: for instructors whose product is a video library

Kajabi suits the Pilates instructor whose business is a large on-demand library sold as a monthly membership, with marketing doing the heavy lifting. It bundles courses, a community, a website, funnels and email in one product.

Kajabi homepage hero section with headline and sign-up button
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

Basic is listed at $179/mo ($143/mo annual) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, one community, one website, two admin users and no AI credits. Growth is $249/mo ($199/mo annual) with 50 products and 25,000 contacts. Through Kajabi Payments in the US, card fees are 2.9% plus $0.30 on Basic; using another provider (other than PayPal) adds a Kajabi fee of 2% on Basic. The standard trial is 14 days. Trustpilot shows 3.4 from 2,347 reviews (October 2026).

What Pilates instructors give up: Kajabi treats coaching as products and communities, not per-client plans, so there are no habits or daily check-ins for an individual client, and private sessions are not its strength. At 5 or 15 clients, the price is hard to justify unless the library is already selling. For a broader look at course tools, see our online course platform comparison.

Pick it over Coachful if you already have an audience in the thousands, your main product is a self-serve video library rather than coached programs, and you want Kajabi's marketing tooling around it.

4. Practice Better: a wellness-practice tool for the clinical end of Pilates

Practice Better is practice-management software for wellness and nutrition practitioners: scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing, programs and a client portal. It fits instructors working alongside clinicians, or those who want structured session notes.

Practice Better homepage hero section aimed at wellness practitioners
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

The pricing ladder, as listed in October 2026: Sprout is free for 3 clients; Starter $35/mo ($25/mo annual) for 10 clients; Professional $69/mo ($59/mo annual) for 300 clients; Plus $99/mo ($89/mo annual) for unlimited clients; Team $155/mo ($145/mo annual) for two practitioners. Paid plans carry a 14-day trial (30 days on Team). Payments run through Practice Better Payments, powered by Stripe. Trustpilot shows 3.8 from 87 reviews.

The catch for a growing Pilates business is that evergreen programs, portal branding, a custom URL and SMS start on Plus, so a self-paced home-practice program effectively needs the $99 plan. An older profile notes no website builder or funnel pages, so you will still need a site and an email tool, and only one practitioner fits on an account below Team.

Pick it over Coachful if you need charting-style notes and work closely with physical therapists or other clinicians, and you are comfortable buying your website and marketing elsewhere.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

5. Everfit: home workouts priced by the client

Everfit is a fitness coaching app for workouts, habits, nutrition and messaging, and Pilates instructors can use it to assign structured home sessions. Its free Starter plan for up to 5 clients is a genuine way to test online delivery with a few existing studio clients.

Everfit homepage hero section for fitness coaches

Pro starts at $19/mo ($16/mo annual) for 5 clients and scales with headcount: $29/mo for 10, $49/mo for 20, $95/mo for 50 (as listed in October 2026). Studio starts at $105/mo for 50 clients. There is a 30-day trial with no card. Automation (Autoflow), payments and meal plans are paid add-ons, and transaction fees are not shown on the pricing page. Trustpilot shows 2.7 from 16 reviews.

Everfit is built for fitness coaches' workout programming, which maps more naturally onto Pilates conditioning circuits than onto flowing mat classes. It has no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing, so your on-demand library and your sales pages live somewhere else.

Pick it over Coachful if you only need to deliver home workouts to a handful of clients, already sell through another channel, and want to start on a free plan.

6. Mighty Networks: when the community is the product

Mighty Networks combines community, courses and events, and works for Pilates instructors whose members value the group as much as the classes, for example a "30 days of mat" challenge community.

Mighty Networks homepage hero section about communities and courses

Launch is listed at $95/mo ($79/mo annual) with 3 hosts and 20 hours a month of livestreaming for up to 100 attendees; Scale is $215/mo ($179/mo annual). Mighty takes a platform fee of 2% on Launch and 1% on Scale, plus Stripe processing. There is a 14-day trial with no card. Trustpilot shows 3.3 from 219 reviews (October 2026).

The gaps for a Pilates business: no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, so privates need another tool, and no per-client habits, check-ins or private plans. Member apps are Mighty-branded unless you move to custom-priced Mighty Pro. If community is your main reason for looking, read how to host a coaching community without Circle and the group coaching software page.

Pick it over Coachful if your offer is a large group membership with livestreams and discussion, and private sessions are rare or handled elsewhere.

7. Stan Store: the lightest way to take your first payment

Stan Store is a link-in-bio storefront for selling digital products, courses, memberships and paid calls. It is the fastest way for an instructor with an Instagram following to sell a class pack or a recorded series this week.

Stan Store homepage hero section for creators selling from a link in bio
Stan Store's homepage in October 2026.

Creator is $29/mo ($25/mo annual) and Creator Pro is $99/mo ($79/mo annual), with a 14-day trial and 0% Stan fee on sales (Stripe or PayPal processing applies). Email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates are only on Creator Pro. Trustpilot shows 4.7 from 2,205 reviews (October 2026).

Stan has no contracts, invoices or client records, and no programs with tasks, habits or check-ins. That makes it a shop, not a practice: fine for selling recordings, thin for running privates or a coached program. Most instructors outgrow it once they have a dozen recurring clients.

Pick it over Coachful if you only want to sell a few downloads or recorded classes to an existing social audience and have no need for client records or programs yet.

What does each setup cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Subscription cost is only part of it; transaction fees and missing pieces matter as much. The table shows each tool's listed monthly price for the plan that fits each client count (monthly billing unless noted), before payment processing.

Should you run an all-in-one platform or assemble a stack?

For most solo instructors, all-in-one wins on cost and on client experience, because clients log in once and you stop copying names between tools. Assembled stacks make sense when one piece (a studio timetable or a big video library) dominates the business. Here are three example recipes, priced from vendor listings in October 2026.

RecipeWhat it includesMonthly software cost at 15 clientsWhat you still manage by hand
Coachful all-in-oneWebsite, funnels, email, booking, payments, agreements, programs, courses, communitySolo: $49/month for up to 20 clientsFilming your classes

Prices in assembled stacks are examples built from each vendor's listed rate; Kit's price rises with subscriber count, and video tools such as Zoom are extra unless your platform includes video. Our guide to online coaching business software walks through each piece if you prefer to assemble your own.

How do you set up an online Pilates business in Coachful, step by step?

Here is a worked example for the scenario above: 15 private clients, a six-week group program and a recorded-class membership. The offer names and prices are illustrative; set your own.

A laptop and tablet showing a client's habit tracker and coaching hub beside a home Pilates mat
A client's demo habit tracker and coaching hub in Coachful, set beside a mat and foam roller.

Step 1: settle the business basics first

In the US, the SBA notes that a sole proprietorship is automatic if you do not register another structure, and suits low-risk businesses testing an idea, while an LLC protects personal assets "in most instances" (SBA: choose a business structure). The SBA also lists professional liability insurance for service businesses, which covers malpractice, errors and negligence (SBA: business insurance); for movement teaching, confirm your policy covers online instruction. Self-employment tax is 15.3% once net earnings reach $400 (IRS), and you generally pay estimated taxes if you expect to owe $1,000 or more (IRS). Rules vary by state and country, so check with an accountant or attorney.

Step 2: build the website and a free first step

Pick a wellness template such as Sanctuary, or send a white-glove request with your bio, class descriptions and photos. Keep it to Home, About, Classes, Work With Me and Contact, with every button leading to one free 20-minute intro call. Add a lead-magnet funnel offering a free recorded "10-minute morning mat" class in exchange for an email address. The coach website builder page shows the templates.

Step 3: create three offers

For example: a pack of private sessions sold as session credits; "Core Foundations", a six-week group program sold as a one-time payment or a payment plan; and a monthly subscription that opens your recorded class library plus one live group class a week. To price them, work backwards: decide your monthly income target, divide by the number of client spots you can teach well, and check the result against what local studios charge for a private session and a monthly unlimited pass. Our guide to pricing app-only and live-call tiers covers how to split those tiers.

Step 4: set up booking with screening questions

Create the intro call and private session types with availability, buffers and minimum notice. Add intake questions on the booking form: current injuries, recent surgery, pregnancy or postnatal status, diagnosed conditions, home equipment and goals. Connect your calendar, choose built-in video or Zoom, and turn on reminders.

Step 5: send the agreement before class one

Write an agreement covering scope (exercise instruction, not medical treatment), the referral rule, cancellation and refund terms and recording consent for form videos, and have an attorney review the liability wording. Coachful sends it for e-signature before the first session and stores it on the client record.

Step 6: build the program and the library

For Core Foundations, set a weekly goal for each of the six weeks, two or three short daily mat sequences built in the workout builder with your own demo clips, habits such as "10-minute mobility" and "posture reset at lunch", a morning check-in (energy, stiffness on a 1 to 5 scale) and a weekly form-check video. Put recorded classes into a course with modules like Foundations, Core, Mobility and Props, and drip new classes weekly.

Coachful coaching flows library with welcome, morning and evening check-in flows
Coachful's coaching flows library with demo Welcome, Morning Check-in and Evening Check-in flows.

Step 7: switch on community and email

The cohort group appears automatically at enrollment. Schedule your weekly live class as a group call, and write a five-email welcome sequence: what to prepare, how to set up the camera (side-on, full body in frame), the first week's plan, how to send a form video, and an invitation to the group.

Here is how scheduling looks once it is connected:

What the client experiences

A prospect finds your free morning class, joins your list and books an intro call, answering the screening questions as they book. They get reminders, meet you on video, and receive a checkout link for Core Foundations, paying with Apple Pay. The agreement arrives for signature. They then open your branded app and see this week's goal, today's 12-minute sequence with your demo video, their habits and a morning check-in. On Thursday they join the live class with their cohort; on Saturday they upload a clip of their roll-up and get your timestamped comments. You watch their status move from active to thriving, or spot "quiet" early and send a message before they drift.

How do you move existing clients and content without losing anyone?

Move in stages and keep your old system running until the new one has been through one full billing cycle. Most lost clients in a switch are lost to confusion, not to the new tool.

  • Start with your current clients. Export your client list from whatever you use now (studio software, spreadsheet, booking tool). With Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.
  • Re-upload original video files. Keep your master recordings on your own drive; do not rely on downloading compressed copies from a platform you are leaving.
  • Time the payment switch. Move recurring memberships at a renewal date and tell clients exactly when the old charge stops and the new one starts, so nobody is charged twice.
  • Send one clear welcome. One email with the login link, the first class date and a two-minute tour video beats three partial announcements.
  • Keep a way out. Check that any tool lets you export your data. Coachful exports the full client record (roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions, form responses) as a ZIP, plus course exports.

If you will keep teaching some clients in person, read how to deliver hybrid online and in-person coaching. Instructors coming from yoga will find a parallel guide in how to start an online yoga business, and strength-focused trainers in how to start an online personal training business.

Which mistakes sink new online Pilates businesses?

  • Selling single classes only. Drop-ins keep income unpredictable. Lead with a program or membership and offer single classes as the trial.
  • Skipping screening. An intake form that never asks about injuries or pregnancy is a liability problem and a coaching problem.
  • Filming from the front only. Side-on angles show spinal alignment; ask clients to film the same way for form checks.
  • Making medical promises. "Fix your back pain" crosses the scope line. Describe what clients practise, not what you will cure.
  • Using borrowed testimonials or results. Only publish genuine quotes that reflect typical results, per the FTC guidance above.

Verdict: which tool should you start your online Pilates business with?

Start with Coachful if you teach privates, run programs or sell a membership and want clients practising between classes: it is the only tool here that covers attracting, enrolling, teaching and keeping clients in one login, with a 0% platform fee and a free white-glove build to get you live (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Choose Arketa if your business is a live class timetable that may become a physical studio, and Kajabi if a large self-serve video library is the product and your audience is already big. Practice Better, Everfit, Mighty Networks and Stan Store each solve one stage well and leave the rest to you.

What Coachful is, in one paragraph: a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, agreements, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant, with one login for you and one branded app for your clients. It is built for instructors and coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions. It does not provide stock exercise videos, wearable sync, PayPal or HIPAA-certified clinical records. To start, open a free trial and request a free white-glove build of your site or first program. If you want more context on the wider fitness side, see Coachful for fitness coaches or compare platforms.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Pilates certification to teach online?

Requirements vary by country, but insurers and clients commonly expect a recognized certification, and your training shapes what you can safely teach. Mat-only certification suits online mat classes; reformer work generally calls for comprehensive training. Check what your insurer requires before you sell your first class.

Can I teach reformer Pilates online?

Yes, if your clients own a home reformer, but most online Pilates businesses are built on mat work with small props such as a ring, band and ball. Ask about equipment in your intake questions and build separate tracks for mat-only and reformer clients.

How should I price online Pilates classes?

Work from your income target and the number of client spots you can coach well, then check the result against local studio prices for privates and monthly passes. Programs and memberships give steadier income than single classes. Any figures you see in examples should be tested with real prospects before you commit.

Is Coachful HIPAA-compliant for clinical Pilates?

No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. If you deliver Pilates-based rehab as a licensed clinician, use clinical software for records and keep coaching-style programs separate.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a done-for-you build included on every plan. You describe what you want (a website, funnel, program, course outline, email sequence and more), attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include filming classes, logo design or ad management.

Can I upload my own Pilates videos to Coachful?

Yes. You attach your own demo clips to exercises in the workout builder and upload recorded classes into courses. Coachful does not supply stock exercise videos, so your library is your own teaching.

How do I run live group classes online?

Use a video room with everyone on camera, ask clients to set the camera side-on with their whole body in frame, and keep groups small enough to give individual cues. In Coachful, live classes run as group calls or webinars in your community, with built-in video or an auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams link.

Which payment methods can my clients use?

With Coachful, payments run through your own Stripe or Razorpay account, including cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with subscriptions, payment plans and coupons. PayPal is not supported. Other tools in this list use Stripe, their own processors or, in some cases, PayPal.

Can I start with only a few existing studio clients?

Yes, and it is the safest way to start. Move three to five clients you already know online, run one six-week program, and fix the rough edges before you market to strangers. Lower Coachful plans cover a small client count, and you can move up as you grow.

Where did Pilates come from, and does that matter online?

Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, and much of the method is mat work that needs little or no equipment (Wikipedia). That mat foundation is why the method translates well to online teaching: most of it can be practised on a floor with a camera nearby.
