Best Quiz Funnel Software for Coaches: 12 Picks for 2026

Best Quiz Funnel Software for Coaches: 12 Picks for 2026

The best quiz funnel software for coaches is the tool that does more than score answers. A quiz is only the first step: someone answers eight questions, sees a result that names their problem, and then has to book a call, buy a starter offer or join a program. The deciding question is simple. When a person finishes your quiz, does the tool carry them all the way to a paid client, or does it hand them to three other apps that you have to connect and pay for?

For most coaches, our pick is Coachful. We make Coachful, so weigh that, but the reasoning is checkable: its funnel builder includes scored quizzes with skip logic and matching result pages, and the same account holds the lead pipeline, the email sequences, the booking calendar, the Stripe checkout and the program the client joins after paying. Below are 12 tools ranked by the situation each one wins, from dedicated scorecard builders to course platforms and coaching back offices, with prices as listed in October 2026.

If you have not built a quiz before, start with our guide on how to build a quiz funnel that books calls, then come back here to pick the software.

What should quiz funnel software actually do for a coach?

It should turn a stranger's answers into a booked call or a sale, and keep those answers attached to the person once they become a client. A form tool collects responses; a quiz funnel uses them to decide what the visitor sees next and what you say to them later.

Coaches use quizzes in a few recurring ways. A career coach runs "Which career pivot fits you?" and sends each result to a different free workshop. A health coach offers "What is draining your energy?" with results that point to a habit program. A business coach builds a scorecard that grades a founder's sales system and invites low scorers to an audit call. In each case the workflow looks like this:

  1. Questions with logic. Skip questions that do not apply, and score or tag answers.
  2. A result page per outcome. Different scores or answer patterns lead to different pages, each with its own next step.
  3. Lead capture with consent. Name and email, stored with the quiz as the source, and a record of permission to email.
  4. Follow-up. An email sequence that matches the result, not one generic newsletter.
  5. The conversion step. A booking slot, an application or a checkout.
  6. Delivery. Once someone pays, they need a program, sessions and somewhere to see their progress.

Most quiz tools cover steps 1 to 3 well and stop there. Most coaching platforms cover steps 5 and 6 and skip the quiz. The gap between them is where leads go cold.

Two scope points matter. First, a quiz is not an assessment in the clinical sense. A health, ADHD or relationship coach can ask about habits and goals, but result pages should never read like a diagnosis, and they should say that coaching is not treatment and suggest a doctor or licensed therapist when answers point to medical or mental health concerns. The ICF Code of Ethics asks coaches to be clear about what coaching is and to refer when another professional is a better fit. Second, a quiz collects personal data. If you have visitors in the EU or UK, the GDPR applies to how you ask for consent and store answers, and in the US the FTC's CAN-SPAM guide covers the follow-up emails. Rules vary by country, so check with an attorney if you collect sensitive information.

How did we rank these 12 tools?

We ranked them by how far each one carries a quiz taker toward a paying, active client without extra tools. We did not run hands-on tests; we compared what each vendor documents on its pricing and product pages in October 2026, plus public review data where we cite it.

To keep it concrete, picture one example coach: 15 private clients, one group program, and a goal of 40 new quiz leads a month (an illustrative number). For that coach we asked:

  • Quiz depth. Scoring, skip logic and separate result pages, or just a form.
  • Where the lead lands. A real pipeline with the quiz recorded as the source, or a spreadsheet export.
  • Follow-up. Email sequences that can branch on the result.
  • Conversion. Booking and checkout in the same flow.
  • After the sale. Programs, habits, check-ins and a client app, which is where retention happens.
  • Total cost. The full monthly bill for the stack, not one tool's sticker price.
  • Setup effort. How long before the quiz is live, and whether someone will build it for you.

Dedicated quiz builders score high on the first point and low on the last four. Coaching back offices are the reverse. That is why the list mixes both, ordered by the scenario each one wins.

1. Coachful: best overall quiz funnel software for coaches

Coachful wins when you want the quiz, the follow-up, the sales call and the coaching itself in one place. It is a coaching platform with a funnel builder inside it, so the person who takes your quiz becomes a lead, then a client, on the same record.

What Coachful is. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login; the client gets one app with the coach's branding inside the Coachful app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than single sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for anyone replacing four to six tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and has a Trustpilot rating of 4.5 from 21 reviews.

How the quiz builder works

Funnels in Coachful are mapped on a visual canvas, with each step as a node and the routes between them drawn as lines. There are 38 step types. For quiz funnels the relevant ones are quizzes and questionnaires with skip logic, scoring and result pages; email capture with automatic lead magnet delivery; booking and application steps; and Stripe checkout with upsells and downsells. Questionnaire results route to a matching result page, and show-if rules can hide or show whole steps or single sections based on earlier answers.

Coachful's Funnels page with three demo funnels: a free webinar funnel, a lead magnet funnel and a program launch funnel.

A few details matter for quizzes specifically:

  • Popup mode. A funnel can open as a popup over your Coachful site or over a website you already run, through one embed script, triggered by a click, time delay, scroll depth or exit intent, with a frequency cap.
  • Split tests. Any step can become a weighted split test, scored against completion, revenue or downstream value. You can test two versions of the result page, for example. Losing variants are not paused automatically; you decide.
  • Tracking. Meta, Google and Bing pixels fire per step, and UTM parameters and ad click IDs are stored for attribution.
  • Templates. About 25 funnel templates, including booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels.

What happens after someone finishes the quiz

The answers do not stay in a results table. Contact details create a lead in your pipeline with the funnel recorded as the source, and email captures carry a consent record. From there, email sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits handle the follow-up, so a "low score" result can get a different series than a "high score" one.

When the lead books, the booking step creates a real calendar event with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync, built-in video or an auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams link, and intake questions on booking. Intake calls are tracked with their conversion rate. When they buy, Stripe checkout supports payment plans and coupons, and the buyer is enrolled into the program, content or session credits they paid for in the same flow. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee; only Stripe or Razorpay processing applies.

After the sale, the client sees a branded home with multi-week programs, weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, and streaks. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call. Each client record keeps goals, check-ins, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, and shows a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, can draft the follow-up emails and result-page copy from your live practice data; questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership, and confirmed builds use AI credits.

Here is a short walkthrough of the funnel builder:

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE" (or the "Want us to build it for you?" card on the Funnels page), describe the quiz you want, and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, brand guide or existing questions. Lead quizzes are one of the listed build types, alongside funnels, websites, email sequences and programs. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not cover recording videos, logo design or ad management. One recent build gave a business mentor for beauty professionals a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. Read more in how the free white-glove service works.

Where Coachful falls short

Dedicated funnel builders have bigger template libraries and more page-editing polish. Coachful has no PayPal, every plan is paid once the trial ends, and it is not HIPAA-certified, so it is not for clinical records or insurance billing. It has no Salesforce or HubSpot integration and no routing forms that pick a host from form answers, which matters if you want quiz results to assign leads to different coaches automatically. If you sell one digital product and never coach anyone, a dedicated builder may fit better.

Price: flat monthly plans, with lower plans capping the number of clients and Pro unlimited (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). There is a free trial, and monthly plans cancel in one click. See the funnel feature page and the lead management page for the full detail.

2. ScoreApp: best for a scorecard quiz with PDF reports

ScoreApp wins when the quiz itself is the product: a "scorecard" that grades someone across categories and hands them a personalized report. Consultants and business coaches use this format to show a prospect where they are weak before a sales call.

Its pricing page lists an AI quiz builder, AI landing pages, unlimited landing pages, dynamic result pages, response export and a CRM connection on every paid plan. Business adds your own domain, abandon emails, advanced insights, custom CSS and scripts, Google Analytics and Facebook pixel, a dynamic PDF report and audiences. Pro adds data enrichment and split testing.

Prices as listed in October 2026 (USD):

  • Starter: $39/month ($30/month billed annually), 3 live scorecards, 100 responses per month, 1 user.
  • Business: $99/month ($75/month annually), 10 live scorecards, 1,000 responses per month, 3 users.
  • Pro: $149/month ($112/month annually), 30 live scorecards, 3,000 responses per month, 5 users.
  • Enterprise: from $799/month.

You can start for free without a card, and paid plans carry a 14-day money-back guarantee.

The limits are the shape of the tool. Responses are capped per plan, so a quiz that goes viral on Starter hits its ceiling at 100. The PDF report and pixel tracking, which most coaches want for ads, sit on Business. And ScoreApp stops at the lead: you still need booking, checkout, contracts and a place to coach, which on our example stack adds two or three more subscriptions.

Pick it over Coachful if you already have a coaching platform you are happy with and want a report-driven scorecard with PDF results as the front end.

3. Typeform: best for embedding a quiz on an existing site

Typeform is the pick when your website lives somewhere else and you want a clean, one-question-at-a-time quiz on it this week. Its pricing page lists unlimited typeforms, AI-powered form creation, conditional logic, and webhooks and integrations on every paid plan, with a dedicated quiz maker among its templates.

Prices as listed in October 2026 (USD):

  • Free plan with a limited number of responses per month.
  • Basic: $39/month ($28/month billed annually), 100 responses per month, 1 user.
  • Plus: $79/month ($56/month annually), 1,000 responses per month, 3 users, Typeform branding removed, custom subdomain.
  • Business: $129/month ($91/month annually), 10,000 responses per month, 5 users, drop-off rates and conversion tracking.

The trade-off is that Typeform is a form tool first. Branding removal starts on Plus, so the Basic quiz carries Typeform's logo. Conversion tracking, the number you need to judge a quiz funnel, is on Business. And everything after submission (a CRM, the email sequence, booking, payment, the program) has to be connected through integrations, each a separate bill and a separate place for data to break.

For coaches on a site builder they love, though, Typeform's embed is the least disruptive way to add a quiz. Pair it with a booking tool and an email platform, or route answers through Zapier into a coaching platform.

Pick it over Coachful if you will not move your website, only need the quiz piece, and are comfortable wiring integrations yourself.

4. Systeme.io: when the budget is the deciding factor

Systeme.io suits a new coach who needs funnels, email and a small course for as little money as possible. It is a low-cost marketing suite: funnels, email, courses, community, blog and an affiliate program, with 0% transaction fees even on the free plan.

Systeme.io homepage promoting its all-in-one funnel, email and course marketing suite
Systeme.io's homepage in October 2026.

Plans as listed in October 2026:

  • Free: $0/month, 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 1 automation rule, 1 email campaign, 1 custom domain. No card required.
  • Startup: $17/month, 5,000 contacts, 10 funnels, 5 courses.
  • Webinar: $47/month, 10,000 contacts, 50 funnels, 20 courses.
  • Unlimited: $97/month, unlimited contacts, funnels, courses and automation rules.

Its Trustpilot rating was 4.9 from 8,696 reviews when we checked in October 2026.

The catch for quiz funnels: the vendor data we hold documents quizzes inside course lessons, not a scored lead quiz with result pages in the funnel builder. Check the current funnel editor before you commit, or plan to embed a quiz from another tool. Systeme.io also has no native 1:1 scheduling tied to client records, no habits or check-ins, and no branded mobile app, per its profile. Once a quiz lead becomes a coaching client, you need somewhere else to coach them.

Pick it over Coachful if you are pre-revenue, want a plan you can stay on without paying, and your first offer is a digital product rather than coaching.

5. Kajabi: a course business that uses quizzes to sell

Kajabi wins for coaches whose income is mostly courses and memberships, with coaching as the premium tier. It bundles courses, community, website, funnels and email, and its course builder includes quizzes and assessments.

Kajabi homepage presenting its platform for courses, communities and knowledge products
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026:

  • Basic: $179/month ($143/month annually), 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 0 AI credits.
  • Growth: $249/month ($199/month annually), 50 products, 25,000 contacts, 500 AI credits.
  • Pro: $499/month ($399/month annually), unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 3 websites.

Kajabi Payments in the US costs 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, falling to 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. Using another processor except PayPal adds a Kajabi fee of 0.5% to 2% on top. The standard trial is 14 days. Trustpilot showed 3.4 from 2,347 reviews in October 2026.

For quiz funnels, note that the quizzes and assessments we can document are course features, used to test students. A lead-generation quiz with result routing is not something our vendor data confirms, so verify it in a trial. The bigger gap is delivery: Kajabi has no habit tracking or daily client check-ins, and coaching is organized around products and communities rather than per-client plans. The 2,500-contact cap on Basic can fill quickly if a quiz performs well.

Pick it over Coachful if courses are 80% of your revenue, you want Kajabi's deeper course authoring, and you can absorb the higher entry price.

6. Practice Better: the practitioner who also needs charting

Practice Better fits nutrition and wellness practitioners whose quiz leads turn into clients that need charting, telehealth and billing. It is practice management software: scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing, programs and a client portal, with program modules that can include quizzes and email sequences.

Practice Better homepage presenting practice management for wellness and nutrition practitioners
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Plans as listed in October 2026:

  • Sprout: $0/month, 3 clients, 1 practitioner.
  • Starter: $35/month ($25 annually), 10 clients.
  • Professional: $69/month ($59 annually), 300 clients.
  • Plus: $99/month ($89 annually), unlimited clients, 3 admins.
  • Team: $155/month ($145 annually), 2 practitioners, up to 200 at $50 each.

Trials are 14 days on most paid plans and 30 days on Team. Trustpilot showed 3.8 from 87 reviews.

For a quiz funnel, Practice Better is the back half only. It has no website builder or funnel pages, per its profile, so the lead quiz has to live somewhere else and send people to a booking link. Evergreen programs, portal branding, a custom URL and SMS start on Plus, which is the realistic tier for an established practice. Quizzes here are for enrolled clients inside a program, not for prospects.

Pick it over Coachful if you need charting and telehealth notes for a regulated wellness practice and are happy to run the lead quiz in a separate tool. Our nutrition coaching software guide covers this trade-off in more depth.

7. Delenta: quizzes inside coaching programs

Delenta suits a coach who wants quizzes as part of the program experience, inside client portals, rather than as a marketing front door. It covers CRM, scheduling, contracts, client portals and group coaching, and its programs support drip content, quizzes and tasks.

Delenta homepage presenting its coaching practice platform with client portals
Delenta's homepage in October 2026.

Pricing as listed in October 2026:

  • Starter: $29/month ($19.08 annually), 1 seat, 10 client portals.
  • Pro: $49/month ($39.08 annually), 40 client portals.
  • Premium: $79/month ($58.25 annually), unlimited client portals, course creator and mobile app.
  • Teams and Enterprise: custom.

Delenta says there are no additional transaction fees beyond Stripe or PayPal. The trial length is unclear: the headline says 14 days and the FAQ says 7. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 5 reviews.

The limit for our example coach is the portal cap. With 15 clients, Starter is already too small, and the course creator and app arrive only on Premium. Our vendor data does not show a public lead-quiz funnel with result pages, so for lead generation you would still pair it with a quiz tool and an email platform.

Pick it over Coachful if in-program quizzes matter more to you than a lead quiz, and the per-portal pricing suits your client count.

8. CoachVantage: unlimited clients and a handful of sales pages

CoachVantage works for a solo coach with many contacts and a small, stable set of offers. It is priced per coach with unlimited contacts, and includes a CRM, scheduling, contracts with e-signature, invoices, a client portal, group programs and small courses.

CoachVantage homepage presenting its coaching practice management software
CoachVantage's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026:

  • Clarity: $39/month ($35 annually), 2 group programs, 2 sales pages, 2 booking pages, 4 e-signatures per month, 2 courses.
  • Aha!: $59/month ($53 annually), unlimited group programs, sales pages, booking pages and e-signatures, 5 courses.

There is a 14-day trial with no card, and CoachVantage takes no commission on revenue; Stripe or PayPal fees apply.

Sales pages give you somewhere to send quiz takers, but our vendor data does not show a quiz builder or result routing, so the quiz comes from elsewhere. Clarity's caps on sales pages and booking pages are tight if each quiz result needs its own page. Team features are absent per its profile, and its built-in video is reported by users as weak, with many still using Zoom.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a single-coach CRM with unlimited contacts at a low per-coach price, and your quiz will live in another tool.

9. Paperbell: simple packages after the quiz

Paperbell is for the solo coach who wants the admin after the quiz to be as simple as possible: sell a package, book the sessions, sign the contract, done. One plan covers booking, packages, payments, contracts, a client portal and a simple website.

Paperbell homepage presenting its all-in-one admin tool for solo coaches
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, the single plan is $97/month ($80.83 annually) with unlimited clients, sessions, packages and traffic. There is a "Try for free" option and a 30-day money-back guarantee, and Paperbell says there are no additional transaction fees beyond Stripe or PayPal. Trustpilot showed 3.5 from 14 reviews.

For quiz funnels, Paperbell is the destination, not the funnel. It has no quiz builder in our data, no courses, no community, and no goal or habit tracking per its profile, and no native mobile app. The usual pattern is a quiz in ScoreApp or Typeform, emails in Kit, and the result page linking to a Paperbell package. That works, but it is three tools and three bills. Our Paperbell alternatives page lists other options.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell 1:1 packages only, do not run programs between sessions, and value one fixed price above everything else.

10. Kit: a quiz that feeds a newsletter business

Kit (formerly ConvertKit) wins when your list is the business: you write a newsletter, sell digital products and book coaching from the audience. It offers landing pages, forms, email sequences and simple digital product sales.

As listed in October 2026:

  • Free (Newsletter): up to 10,000 subscribers.
  • Creator: from $39/month for up to 1,000 subscribers, rising with list size, 2 team members.
  • Pro: from $79/month for up to 1,000 subscribers, unlimited team members.

Creator and Pro have a 14-day trial with no card. Kit Commerce charges 3.5% + $0.30 per USD transaction with no monthly fee. Trustpilot showed 3.9 from 162 reviews.

Kit does not document a scored quiz, so you would embed one from Typeform or ScoreApp and tag subscribers by result. Automations and sequences need a paid plan. There is no scheduling, no client records and no client portal for courses, community, habits or check-ins. It is the email engine of a quiz funnel, not the funnel. See email marketing for coaches for how Coachful handles sequences in the same account as clients.

Pick it over Coachful if you mainly publish to a large list and coaching is a small share of income.

11. HoneyBook: proposals and contracts from lead forms

HoneyBook fits a coach who sells like a service agency: inquiry form, proposal, contract, invoice. It is a client-management CRM for service businesses with lead forms, a scheduler and a client portal.

HoneyBook homepage presenting its client management CRM for service businesses
HoneyBook's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026:

  • Starter: $29/month billed annually, unlimited clients, 2 live lead forms.
  • Essentials: $59/month ($49 annually), up to 2 team members, 10 lead forms.
  • Premium: $129/month ($109 annually), unlimited team members and lead forms.

There is a 30-day trial with no card. Payments must run through HoneyBook's own processing; card fees are listed as 2.7% + 10¢ in the FAQ and 2.9% + 25¢ in the plan table, which conflict. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 748 reviews.

Lead forms collect inquiries, but they are not scored quizzes with result pages in our data. The scheduler and automations start on Essentials. And there is no coaching delivery at all: no programs, courses, habits, check-ins or community.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell custom proposals to companies, such as workshops or team engagements, and need agency-style paperwork more than a client program.

12. Stan Store: selling the result from a link in bio

Stan Store is the pick for a creator-coach whose traffic comes from Instagram or TikTok and who wants the quiz result to point at a low-ticket product or a paid call. It is a link-in-bio storefront for digital products, courses, memberships and paid calls.

Stan Store homepage presenting its link-in-bio storefront for creators
Stan Store's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Creator is $29/month ($25 annually) and Creator Pro is $99/month ($79 annually), both with unlimited products and customers and a 14-day trial. Stan takes 0% of sales; Stripe or PayPal processing applies. Trustpilot showed 4.7 from 2,205 reviews.

Stan has no quiz builder in our data, and email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates are on Creator Pro only. It has no contracts, invoices or client records, and no programs with tasks, habits or check-ins. For a quiz funnel, it is the shop window at the end.

Pick it over Coachful if your offers are mostly low-priced digital products sold from social media, and you do not need to manage clients.

How do the 12 tools compare feature by feature?

Only Coachful covers every stage of the quiz-to-client path in one account. "No" below means the feature is not documented in the vendor facts or pricing page we checked in October 2026; "partial" means it exists with a meaningful limit.

What do three real quiz funnel stacks cost per month?

An all-in-one stack usually costs less than a stitched one once you add booking and delivery. Below are three example stacks for our illustrative coach with 15 clients and about 40 quiz leads a month, using monthly list prices from October 2026 (Stripe processing extra in every case).

StackWhat is in itMonthly costWhat is missing
CoachfulQuiz funnel, lead pipeline, email sequences, booking, checkout, contracts, programs, client appSolo: $49/month for up to 20 clientsPayPal; HubSpot or Salesforce sync
Scorecard stackScoreApp Business ($99) + Kit Creator from $39 + Paperbell ($97)About $235Habits, check-ins, community, one client record
Budget stackTypeform Basic ($39) + Systeme.io Startup ($17) + Calendly Standard ($10 per seat, billed annually)About $66Typeform branding, contracts, client portal, programs

The budget stack looks cheap until a quiz lead becomes a client: there is still nowhere to deliver a program, sign an agreement or track check-ins, so a fourth tool follows. If your roster is smaller or larger, the Coachful line changes with it: for 5 clients Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients, and for 40 clients Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients.

How do you build a quiz funnel in Coachful, step by step?

You can have a working quiz funnel in an afternoon, or ask the team to build it for free. Here is a worked example for a career coach running "What is holding your career change back?", with three results: clarity, confidence and logistics.

Coachful new funnel creation screen
Starting a new funnel in Coachful.
  1. Start the funnel. Go to Funnels, create a new funnel, and start from a lead-magnet or booking template, or describe it in the white-glove form instead.
  2. Add the quiz step. Write 7 to 10 questions. Use skip logic so someone who says they are already interviewing skips the "Do you know what role you want?" question. Score each answer toward one of the three outcomes.
  3. Capture the lead. Put the email capture step after the last question and before the result, with a clear consent line. The lead now appears in Prospects with the quiz as its source.
  4. Build three result pages. Route each outcome to its own page. The clarity result invites people to a free workshop; the confidence result offers a 20-minute call; the logistics result points to a paid planning session.
  5. Add the conversion steps. A booking step for the call (with intake questions), and a Stripe checkout step for the paid session, with an optional upsell into the full program.
  6. Write the follow-up. Create one email sequence per result, with a delay and a branch for people who book versus those who do not. Michelle can draft the first version from your notes.
  7. Connect tracking. Add your Meta Pixel or GA4, and use UTM links on each channel so you can see which post or ad produced quiz takers.
  8. Publish or embed. Publish on your Coachful site or custom domain, or switch to popup mode and add the embed script to your current website with an exit-intent trigger.
  9. Test one thing. After a few weeks, split-test the confidence result page's headline and judge it on bookings, not clicks.

What the client experiences: they answer the questions on their phone, see a result that describes their situation in plain words, and book a call on the same page. They get a confirmation email with a calendar invitation, an intake form, and a coaching agreement to sign before the call. If they buy the program, they land in your branded app with week one's goals, daily tasks and a morning check-in waiting, and their quiz answers are already on the client record you open before the first session.

Prefer not to build it yourself? Ask for a lead quiz through the free white-glove service, and the team builds the funnel in your account with the gaps left for you. More setup ideas are in our guides to funnel builders for life coaches and funnel builders for business coaches.

What mistakes sink coaching quizzes?

Most quiz funnels fail after the result page, not before it. The common problems:

  • One result for everyone. If every outcome ends with "book a call", the scoring was decoration. Give each result a next step that fits it.
  • Asking for email too early. Put the capture step after the questions, when the visitor is curious about their result.
  • Too many questions. Each extra question is another chance to leave. Cut anything that does not change the result.
  • Diagnosing in a coaching quiz. Health and mental-health quizzes should describe habits and goals, include a scope line that coaching is not treatment, and suggest seeing a professional where answers warrant it.
  • Answers that never reach the coach. If quiz data lives in a form tool and the client lives in a coaching app, you lose the context that makes the first session personal.
  • Response caps you did not notice. Several quiz tools cap monthly responses per plan. Check the limit against the traffic you expect from ads.
  • No consent record. Store when and how people agreed to hear from you, especially for EU visitors.

Verdict: which quiz funnel software should you choose?

Choose Coachful if you coach clients and want the quiz, follow-up, booking, payment and program in one account. It is the only tool here that takes a quiz taker from first answer to week-one check-in without a second subscription, and the free white-glove build removes most of the setup work.

Choose ScoreApp if a report-style scorecard is central to your sales process and you already have the rest of the stack. Choose Typeform if you only need a quiz on a website you will not move. Choose Systeme.io if budget decides everything and your first product is digital. The coaching back offices (Practice Better, Delenta, CoachVantage, Paperbell) are good destinations for quiz leads but need a separate quiz tool in front of them.

Coachful is not the right fit if you need HIPAA compliance, PayPal, a HubSpot or Salesforce sync, or host routing based on form answers. To start, take a free trial and request the lead quiz through the white-glove service, or compare options on the comparison hub.

Frequently asked questions

What is a quiz funnel for coaches?

A quiz funnel is a short series of questions that scores or tags a visitor's answers, shows them a matching result, and offers a next step such as a call or a program. For coaches it works as a lead magnet that also qualifies people. A lead generation quiz differs from a newsletter signup because the answers tell you what each person needs.

Does Coachful have a built-in quiz builder?

Yes. Coachful's funnel builder includes quiz and questionnaire steps with skip logic, scoring and result pages, and results can route to a matching page. Quiz takers become leads in the same pipeline as your clients, with the funnel recorded as the source.

Can I add a Coachful quiz to a website I already have?

Yes. Switch the funnel to popup mode and add one embed script to your existing site. The quiz then opens in an overlay triggered by a click, a time delay, scroll depth or exit intent, with a frequency cap so the same visitor does not see it repeatedly.

Will Coachful build my quiz funnel for me?

Yes, through the free white-glove service on every plan. Describe the quiz, attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. They do not invent testimonials, credentials or prices, and video recording and ad management are not included.

Which quiz tool is cheapest for coaches?

Systeme.io and Typeform both have free plans, and Systeme.io's Startup plan is $17/month as listed in October 2026. The cheapest quiz tool is rarely the cheapest stack, though, because you still need booking, contracts and somewhere to deliver coaching.

How many questions should a coaching quiz have?

There is no fixed rule, but each question should change the result or the follow-up. Many coaches start with 7 to 10 questions and cut any that do not affect scoring. Test completion rates once real traffic arrives.

Can a health coach use a quiz to assess symptoms?

A health coach can ask about habits, routines and goals, but a quiz should not diagnose or suggest treatment. State on the result page that coaching is not medical care and recommend a doctor or licensed professional when answers point to a health concern. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified, so do not use it for clinical records.

Do I need consent to email people who take my quiz?

In most cases you should collect clear consent at the capture step and keep a record of it. EU and UK visitors fall under the GDPR, and US commercial emails must follow CAN-SPAM rules such as a working unsubscribe link. Requirements vary, so check with an attorney for your situation.

Can quiz results send leads to different coaches on my team?

Coachful does not have routing forms that pick a host from form answers. You can route each result to a different page, and multi-coach session types can assign bookings round-robin or to the least busy coach on team plans.

Can I split-test my quiz in Coachful?

Yes. Any funnel step can become a weighted split test scored against completion, revenue or downstream value, and each visitor is assigned once per session. Losing variants are not paused automatically, so you choose when to end a test.
