Best Platform for Team Coaches: 7 Options Ranked

The best platform for team coaches is the one that lets you sell a team engagement, onboard every team member, run the sessions and keep the team working between them, without sending people to five different logins. For most team coaches that means one tool that handles checkout, agreements, a cohort space for each team, a structured program, group calls and a website that wins the next contract. Course tools and community apps cover parts of that; very few cover all of it.
Our pick is Coachful. We make Coachful, so weigh that, but the ranking below follows criteria we state up front: how much of selling and delivery runs in one place, what the team member experiences between sessions, the total monthly cost of the stack, and how much setup you have to do yourself. Coachful leads on all four for a coach selling team engagements, and the other six platforms each win a specific situation, which we name at the top of every section.
What do team coaches actually sell and deliver online?
Team coaches sell structured engagements to organizations and to leaders, and deliver most of the work through group sessions, shared commitments and follow-through between meetings. The platform has to hold both the commercial side (proposal, agreement, invoice) and the delivery side (sessions, program, team space).
Typical offers look like this. The names and formats are examples, not prescriptions:
- A six-month leadership team engagement. A kickoff offsite, monthly team sessions, a team charter, short individual check-ins with each member and a sponsor review at the midpoint and end.
- A team launch sprint. Four to six weeks for a newly formed team: purpose, roles, working agreements and a first set of team goals. Our team charter framework for executive leadership teams shows one way to structure the charter work.
- A diagnostic plus debrief. A team assessment, a debrief session and a 90-day action plan. If you work with the Hackman and Wageman model, see the six conditions and the Team Diagnostic Survey.
- A cohort program for managers. Several managers from different teams or companies move through the same curriculum together, with a shared community and live calls.
- A self-paced course for team leads. Recorded lessons on running meetings, giving feedback or handling conflict, sold on its own or as a bonus inside an engagement.
- A membership for alumni. Monthly group calls and a community for leaders who finished an engagement and want to keep practicing.
Two things make team coaching different from one-to-one coaching on a platform. First, the buyer (a sponsor, HR lead or founder) is often not the person being coached, so contracts and invoices go to one party while access goes to eight. Second, the value sits between sessions: a team that agrees to new working agreements on Tuesday needs a shared place to see them, track them and talk about them on Wednesday. If you run sessions remotely, our guide to virtual team coaching best practices covers the session craft; this article covers the platform underneath it.
Which platform wins in each situation? (Quick picks)

| Coachful | Best overall: selling and delivering whole team engagements in one place | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Branded app with program, team cohort group, habits, check-ins and sessions |
| Kajabi | Coaches whose business is mostly marketing courses and launches to leaders | $179 (Basic) | Course and community portal; no per-member plans |
| Mighty Networks | Large leader communities and alumni networks with livestreams | $95 (Launch) | Community feed, courses and events in a Mighty-branded app |
| Thinkific | Course-heavy manager academies with many learners | $109 (Start) | Course player and communities; no 1:1 booking built in |
| Practice Better | Multi-practitioner wellness practices that also run group programs | $0 (Sprout, 3 clients) | Client portal with programs; website lives elsewhere |
| Kartra | Marketing-led coaches who want funnels, email and memberships in one suite | $59 (Essentials) | Membership portal; no habits or check-ins |
| Skool | A low-cost community and classroom for one cohort or alumni group | $9 (Hobby) | Community, classroom and calendar in one group |
Vendor prices are as listed on each vendor's pricing page in October 2026, monthly billing, before payment processing.
How did we choose and rank these platforms?
We ranked on what a team coach needs to sell and deliver an engagement online, using what each vendor documents publicly and what public reviewers report. We did not run hands-on tests for this article.
- One login for the whole client journey. Can a sponsor buy, sign and pay, and can the team then find the program, the team space, the session links and their own commitments in one place?
- Between-session delivery. Does the platform support weekly goals, habits, check-ins and a shared team space, or only video lessons and a feed?
- Group structure. Can each team get its own private group, and can several teams run on the same program without seeing each other?
- Selling tools. Checkout, payment plans, invoices for the sponsor, agreements, a website and funnels for winning the next engagement.
- Total stack cost. The platform plus whatever you have to add (scheduling, e-signature, email, community) to cover the same ground.
- Setup effort and co-coaching. How long it takes to get live, whether someone can build it for you, and whether a second coach can join with their own calendar and permissions.

1. Coachful: why is it the best platform for team coaches overall?
Coachful wins when you sell team engagements and want the sale, the agreement, the program, each team's private group, the sessions and the follow-through to live in one place. It is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login; each team member gets one branded app.

What it handles for a team engagement
Each team gets its own space automatically. When members enroll in a program, Coachful creates a cohort group for that enrollment. You can run three leadership teams through the same six-month engagement and each team has its own group chat and feed, separate from the others. Community feed, group chat, direct messages, video events, group calls and webinars are all included in your Coachful membership. Our group coaching software page goes into the group features in more detail.
The program carries the work between sessions. Multi-week programs support weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. For a team coach, that is where working agreements turn into weekly commitments, and where a short Friday check-in asks each member how the new meeting rhythm went. On the coach side, each client record shows goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, sessions and payments, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you can see which team member has gone quiet before the next session.
Sessions and scheduling. Booking pages support availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync. Calls can use built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links, which matters when a corporate client insists on Teams. Email reminders are standard; SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) reminders work once messaging is enabled. Session credits suit engagements that include a set number of individual check-ins per team member.

The commercial side: sponsor, agreement, invoice
Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax. Every transaction produces an invoice, and you can also send manual invoices, which fits a sponsor who wants one invoice for the whole team. Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026; you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing.
Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record. Our coaching contracts page shows how agreements fit into onboarding.

Winning the next contract
The section-based website builder includes a blog, custom domain, SEO settings, 30 designed homepage templates and an Import website option. Booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels support pixels and UTM tracking, and email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences cover nurture for HR leads who are not ready yet. An application funnel suits team work well: the sponsor describes the team, its size and the problem before you book a discovery call.
Co-coaching and associates. Team plans (Studio and Agency) add coach seats with per-coach availability and staff permissions. Multi-coach session types can assign bookings by round-robin or least-busy. If you co-facilitate team sessions or bring in associate coaches, this is where it matters. Our Coachful for teams page covers the seat setup.
Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data. She can build programs, draft emails and content, summarize recorded sessions and brief you before a session. She can also give optional private feedback on your own coaching against ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8. Questions and planning are included in the membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. ICF credential tracking counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log.
Here is a short walkthrough of the team features:
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create > We'll build it for you · FREE, you describe what you want built (a website, a funnel, a sales page for your team engagement, a program, a course outline and written material, an email sequence, a form or worksheet) and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, brand guide or existing proposal copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. One recent example: a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. More in our white-glove service write-up.

What Coachful does not do
- No multi-stage sales deal board for large sales teams, and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration. If your firm runs enterprise deals through a CRM, keep it.
- No routing forms that pick a host from form answers.
- No PayPal and no permanent free plan. There is a free trial.
- The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account.
- Not HIPAA-certified, not a course marketplace and not a general website builder for non-coaching sites; no third-party plugins.
- Lower plans cap the number of clients, and in team coaching every team member you enroll counts as a client. Pro is unlimited.
Who it is for: team and leadership coaches who deliver structured engagements and programs, solo coaches growing into a small associate team, and coaches replacing four to six tools. How to start: start a free trial, then request the free white-glove build for your website or first engagement. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients.
Pick it over the others if you want sponsors to buy and sign, teams to work inside a private group and program, and your website to keep producing leads, all from one login.
2. Kajabi: is it worth it for marketing-led team coaches?
Kajabi wins for a team coach whose revenue leans on courses, launches and email marketing to leaders, rather than on running private team engagements. It is a course, community, website, funnel and email platform for selling knowledge products, and it is mature at that job.

Where Kajabi fits a team practice
If you sell a recorded "running better team meetings" course to thousands of managers and a community for alumni, Kajabi's funnels, email and course tools are built for that motion. Growth includes 11 admin users, so a small team can share the back office.
Gaps for engagement delivery
- No habit tracking or daily client check-ins; coaching is organized as products and communities, not per-client plans.
- Basic has 0 AI credits and caps you at 2,500 contacts, 5 products and 1 community. Running separate private spaces for several client teams quickly pushes you toward higher plans.
- Because coaching is organized around products rather than individual clients, expect to pair Kajabi with a separate booking tool for one-to-one check-ins with team members.
Pricing, as listed in October 2026
Basic $179/mo ($143/mo annual), Growth $249/mo ($199/mo annual), Pro $499/mo ($399/mo annual). Kajabi Payments in the US costs 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, falling to 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro; using another processor (other than PayPal) adds a Kajabi fee of 2%, 1% or 0.5% depending on plan. There is a 14-day trial. Kajabi held a Trustpilot rating of 3.4 from 2,347 reviews when we checked in October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if your main product is a high-volume course business with launches, and private team engagements are a small side of your work.
3. Mighty Networks: does it suit large leader communities?
Mighty Networks wins when the heart of your offer is a large community of leaders, with livestreams, courses and events, rather than a handful of private team engagements. It combines community, courses and events with Mighty-branded member apps.

The community case
Think of an alumni network for every leader who has been through your programs, or a paid community for new managers with monthly live sessions. Launch includes 3 hosts, 10 moderators and 20 hours of livestreaming a month for up to 100 attendees; Scale raises that to 5 hosts and 200 attendees. That host allowance is useful if you co-facilitate.
What a team coach would add
Mighty Networks has no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, and no per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. A sponsor-paid engagement therefore needs separate tools for agreements, invoices and individual booking. Your own branded apps come only on the custom-priced Mighty Pro plan.
Cost and fees
As listed in October 2026: Launch $95/mo ($79/mo annual), Scale $215/mo ($179/mo annual), Growth $354/mo billed annually (monthly price not listed), and custom-priced Mighty Pro. A platform fee of 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Pro applies to sales, plus Stripe processing. The trial runs 14 days without a card. Trustpilot showed 3.3 from 219 reviews in October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if you are building a large, open leader community where livestreams and member discovery matter more than private team programs, contracts and check-ins.
4. Thinkific: the right home for a manager academy?
Thinkific wins for a course-heavy offer: a manager academy or leadership curriculum with many learners, where the course player is the product and live coaching is secondary. It is a course platform with communities, memberships and coaching or webinar products.

Strengths for curriculum-led work
Start supports 10,000 current students, 2 admins, 1 community with 10 spaces and 5 live community events. Grow adds 6 admins and 3 communities with 20 spaces. If you license a leadership curriculum to a company and need hundreds of learners in it, that headroom helps.
Limits to plan around
- No built-in 1:1 scheduling (an older vendor profile notes coaching relies on external booking links).
- No client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans.
- A branded mobile app is a $199/mo add-on.
- Prices rose about 10% on August 13, 2026.
What it costs in October 2026
Start $109/mo ($82/mo annual), Grow $219/mo ($164/mo annual), Expand $499/mo ($374/mo annual), and custom Plus. There is no Thinkific transaction fee with Thinkific Payments, whose rate the vendor describes as in line with other processors at 2.9%; third-party gateways carry an extra per-plan fee. Every self-serve plan has a 30-day free trial. Thinkific's Trustpilot rating stood at 1.8 from 868 reviews when checked in October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if you mainly sell a large self-paced curriculum to many learners and keep live team sessions in another tool.
5. Practice Better: a fit for multi-practitioner practices?
Practice Better wins for a practice with several practitioners, often in wellness or nutrition, that also runs group programs and needs charting. It is practice management software: scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing, programs and a client portal.

Why some team coaches look at it
If your team coaching sits inside a corporate wellness practice with dietitians or health coaches, the Team plan includes 2 practitioners (up to 200 at $50 each) with unlimited admins, and scheduling plus billing are built in. A free Sprout plan covers 3 clients for testing. Coaches in that space may also want our guide to the best platform for corporate wellness coaches.
Trade-offs
Practice Better has no website builder or funnel pages, according to an older vendor profile, so winning new team contracts happens elsewhere. Evergreen programs, portal branding, a custom URL and SMS start on the Plus plan at $99/mo, and below Team you get one practitioner per account. Group community features are lighter than a dedicated community platform.
Listed pricing, October 2026
Sprout $0 (3 clients), Starter $35/mo ($25/mo annual, 10 clients), Professional $69/mo ($59/mo annual, 300 clients), Plus $99/mo ($89/mo annual, unlimited clients), Team $155/mo ($145/mo annual). Trials run 30 days on Team and 14 days on other paid plans. Payments run through Practice Better Payments, powered by Stripe; rates are not listed. Trustpilot showed 3.8 from 87 reviews in October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if your practice needs clinical-style charting and telehealth for several practitioners, and you already have a separate website and marketing setup.
6. Kartra: should a funnel-first team coach use it?
Kartra wins for a marketing-led coach who wants pages, funnels, email and SMS, memberships, calendars and a helpdesk in a single marketing suite. Its strength is the top of the funnel: getting HR leads and managers onto a list and into a webinar.

Strong points
Starter includes 2,500 contacts, unlimited pages, products and memberships, unlimited email and SMS and 5 team members. That is generous for a coach running webinars to attract team engagements, and the built-in calendars cover discovery calls.
Weak points for delivery
Kartra has no client habits, check-ins or per-client coaching plans. Essentials caps contacts at 500 and charges a 5% transaction fee. An older vendor profile lists no mobile app for students or admins and notes that funnels and memberships are not portable to other platforms, which is worth reading alongside our guide to protecting coaching data from platform shutdowns.
Price list as of October 2026
Essentials $59/mo ($52/mo annual), Starter $119/mo ($99/mo annual), Growth $229/mo ($189/mo annual), Professional $549/mo ($429/mo annual). Starter and Growth carry 0% Kartra transaction fees; processor fees are separate. There is a 14-day free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Trustpilot listed 3.2 from 129 reviews in October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if your business is mostly email and funnel marketing at scale, and team delivery runs on calls and documents outside the platform.
7. Skool: good enough for one cohort on a budget?
Skool wins when you need a cheap, simple home for a single cohort or an alumni group: community, classroom and calendar in one group, with gamified leaderboards. Members, courses, videos and live calls are unlimited on both plans.

The low-cost case
At $9/mo on Hobby, a coach can stand up a space for a manager cohort in an afternoon. Leaderboards can nudge participation in an open cohort, though they may sit awkwardly with a senior leadership team.
Why it ranks last here
Skool has no custom-domain website, funnels, email automation or public API, and no 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits or check-ins. Payments run only through Skool Payments, and both plans take per-transaction fees, so a sponsor-paid engagement, a contract and individual check-ins all need other tools.
Fees, as listed in October 2026
Hobby $9/mo ($7.50/mo annual) with 10% + 30¢ on all transactions; Pro $99/mo ($82.50/mo annual) with 2.9% + 30¢ up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900. Trial length is not stated on the pricing page. Trustpilot showed 1.6 from 54 reviews in October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if all you need is a low-cost community and classroom for one group, and you are happy to sell, sign and schedule elsewhere.
How do the seven platforms compare on selling and delivery?

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

What does a team engagement look like built end to end in Coachful?
Here is one example engagement, a "Leadership Team Reset" for an eight-person leadership team over six months, set up in Coachful. The structure is illustrative; adjust the length and price to your practice.

- Win the conversation. An application funnel on your website asks the sponsor for team size, the main challenge and the timeline, then offers a discovery call booking. Email sequences follow up with leads who apply but do not book.
- Sell and sign. After the call, you create the offer and send a checkout link to the sponsor: a one-time payment, a payment plan over six months, or a manual invoice if their finance team prefers. The coaching agreement goes out for e-signature before the kickoff and is stored on the record.
- Onboard the team. Each of the eight members joins the program. Coachful creates a cohort group for that team, so their chat, feed and events stay private. Intake questions collect each member's view of the team before the kickoff.
- Run the program. Week one covers purpose and roles; weeks two to four turn the charter into working agreements, each linked to a habit or weekly goal; a Friday check-in asks how the agreements held up. Monthly team sessions use auto-created Teams links, and each member books two individual check-ins with session credits.
- Keep it visible. Client statuses show who is quiet or at risk, and Michelle briefs you before each team session from the latest check-ins.
- Add a course. A short course on giving feedback drips into the team's app in month three, delivered next to the program, not in a separate login.

For more on cohort design, see our buyer guide to cohort coaching platforms.

What does each stack cost per month at 5, 15 and 40 clients?
The honest answer is that it depends on how many team members you count as clients. Below are three example stacks; vendor prices are monthly as listed in October 2026, before payment processing. In team coaching, 40 clients might be five teams of eight.
| Stack | What it covers | 5 clients | 15 clients | 40 clients |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful on its own | Website, funnels, email, checkout, agreements, booking, programs, team groups, courses, AI assistant | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients |
| Kajabi Growth plus separate booking and e-signature tools | Website, funnels, email, courses, community; booking, agreements and 1:1 notes added | $249 plus the add-on tools | $249 plus the add-on tools | $249 plus the add-on tools |
| Skool Pro plus Kartra Starter plus a separate e-signature tool | Community and classroom (Skool), website, funnels, email and calendars (Kartra); agreements added | $218 plus e-signature | $218 plus e-signature | $218 plus e-signature |
We have not priced the add-on scheduling and e-signature tools here because we did not verify their current pricing; check the vendors you would actually use. The Kajabi stack still lacks habits and check-ins, and the Skool and Kartra stack means team members use two logins. Note also the transaction fees: Skool Pro charges 2.9% + 30¢ per sale up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900, which on a large sponsor invoice adds up.
Which mistakes do team coaches make when choosing a platform?
Most mistakes come from picking a tool for the content and forgetting the engagement around it.
- Putting every client team in one shared community. Leadership teams talk about sensitive topics. Each team needs a private space, not a channel in a public feed.
- Treating the course as the product. Team coaching changes behavior between sessions. Without check-ins and shared commitments, a course platform delivers information, not follow-through.
- Forgetting the sponsor. The person paying needs an agreement, an invoice and sometimes a midpoint review. If the platform has no clean way to handle that, you end up doing it in email.
- Counting only the subscription. Add the scheduling tool, the e-signature tool, the email tool and per-sale fees before comparing.
- Ignoring data portability. Check you can export your clients, notes and check-ins. Coachful exports full client data as a ZIP; read our guide to a coaching platform outage plan for the wider habit.
- Choosing an enterprise platform too early. Large workplace coaching platforms are built for HR buyers rolling out coaching across a company. If you are the coach, not the buyer, see our roundup of workplace coaching platforms to understand the difference.
Which platform should a team coach choose?
Choose Coachful if you sell and deliver team engagements and want the sponsor's purchase, the agreement, each team's private group, the program with check-ins, sessions, courses and your website in one login. It ranks first because it covers the whole engagement without stacking tools, and the free white-glove build removes most of the setup.
Choose Kajabi or Thinkific if your business is mainly courses sold at volume. Choose Mighty Networks for a large leader community with livestreams. Practice Better suits multi-practitioner wellness practices that need charting. Kartra fits funnel-heavy marketers, and Skool is the cheapest way to host a single cohort community. Compare Coachful directly against specific tools on our compare page.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best platform for team coaches?
For selling and delivering team engagements online, Coachful is our pick because checkout, agreements, a private group per team, programs with check-ins, sessions, courses and a website run in one login. Course-led coaches may prefer Kajabi or Thinkific, and community-led coaches may prefer Mighty Networks. We make Coachful, so compare the criteria above against your own offer.
Can I run several client teams on the same program without them seeing each other?
In Coachful, yes. A cohort group is created automatically when members enroll in a program, so each team gets its own chat and feed. On community-first platforms you usually create a separate space or community per team, which can hit plan limits.
How should I count clients when every team member has an account?
Count every enrolled team member as a client, because most platforms with client caps count each person. A coach with three teams of eight has 24 clients. Coachful's Pro plan is unlimited if your numbers grow past the lower plan caps.
Can the sponsor pay while the team members get access?
Yes. In Coachful you can send the sponsor a checkout link, a payment plan or a manual invoice, and enroll the team members in the program separately. The agreement can go to the sponsor for e-signature before the first call.
Does Coachful work with Microsoft Teams for corporate clients?
Yes. Sessions can use built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams links, and Outlook calendars sync two ways. That helps when a client's IT policy requires Teams.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
From the Create page, you describe what you want built, such as a website, a sales page for your engagement, a funnel or a program, and attach up to 8 links and 10 files. The Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours, without inventing credentials, testimonials or prices. It is free on every plan but does not include video recording, logo design or ad management.
Can I co-facilitate with another coach?
Coachful's Studio and Agency plans add coach seats with per-coach availability and staff permissions, and multi-coach session types can assign bookings by round-robin or least-busy. Kajabi, Thinkific, Kartra and Mighty Networks also offer admin or host seats, mainly for running the back office or events.
Is a course platform enough for team coaching?
Usually not on its own. Course platforms deliver lessons well, but team coaching depends on sessions, shared commitments and check-ins between meetings. If you choose one, plan for separate booking, agreement and follow-up tools.
Does Coachful integrate with Salesforce or HubSpot?
No. Coachful does not integrate with Salesforce or HubSpot and does not have a multi-stage deal board for large sales teams. It does connect to Zapier, and you can keep an existing CRM for enterprise deals while delivering engagements in Coachful.
Can I track ICF hours from team coaching?
Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours. Check the ICF's current rules on how team and group hours count toward your credential.
