Best Software for Mental Health Coaches: Top 12 Picks for 2026

Best Software for Mental Health Coaches: Top 12 Picks for 2026

The best software for mental health coaches is the one that carries a client from the first booking through the quiet days between sessions, without turning your practice into five logins and a spreadsheet. So the deciding question is not "which app has the most features?" It is "where does my client's week actually happen, and can one tool hold it?" Mental health coaching lives in small daily moments: a morning mood check, a breathing habit, a journaling prompt, a note you read before the next call. Software that only books sessions misses most of that.

Our pick is Coachful, because it puts booking, payments, agreements, multi-week programs with daily check-ins and habits, courses, a community and a website under one login, with your branding on the client's app. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read the eleven alternatives below: each one wins a specific situation, and some of those situations may be yours.

This guide is organised by scenario. You get quick picks first, then the criteria, then each tool in ranked order with the case it wins, then a feature matrix, three example stacks with their monthly cost, and a verdict. Vendor prices are as listed in October 2026.

What do mental health coaches need from software?

They need a way to support clients between sessions, keep clear records of agreements and scope, and run the business side without a pile of tools. The specifics follow from how this kind of coaching works.

Most mental health coaches work on stress, burnout, confidence, emotional regulation, routines and the habits that support wellbeing. Sessions are often weekly or fortnightly, and the real change happens in between. That makes three workflows central:

  • Between-session structure. Short daily check-ins (mood, sleep, energy, one reflection), habits such as a breathing practice or a walk, and weekly goals the client can see progress on. If clients have to open a separate habit app, many will stop.
  • Intake, agreements and scope. A coaching agreement that states clearly what coaching is and is not, signed before the first call, plus intake questions that help you spot when a client needs a clinician instead of a coach.
  • Groups and self-paced material. Many coaches add a stress-resilience cohort, a small peer community or a short course. That stretches what a single 1:1 tool can do.

Scope is the part that makes this niche different. Coaching is not therapy: a coach does not diagnose or treat mental illness. If a client describes thoughts of self-harm or suicide, symptoms that are getting worse, or anything that looks like a clinical condition, the right move is to refer them to a licensed professional or crisis service. In the US, the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available by call or text, and the National Institute of Mental Health lists ways to find help. Our guide to mental-health warning signs in coaching goes through recognition and referral step by step, and the ICF Code of Ethics covers the professional duty to refer.

Privacy comes next. HIPAA applies to "covered entities" (health plans, clearinghouses and providers who transmit health information electronically in standard transactions such as insurance billing) and their business associates, as the US Department of Health and Human Services explains. Many coaches who do not bill insurance fall outside that definition, but your situation may differ, especially if you are also a licensed clinician or work inside a clinic. Check with an attorney. If you need a signed business associate agreement (BAA), choose software that offers one, and keep clinical records out of coaching tools. If you are still mapping out your path, how to become a mental health coach and our mental health coach certification guide cover the groundwork.

How did we choose and rank these tools?

We pictured one concrete practice and asked what each tool would need to run it. The example coach has 15 active 1:1 clients on a 12-week stress and burnout program, plus one eight-week group cohort of about a dozen people. Each 1:1 client gets a short morning check-in, an evening reflection, two or three habits, and a weekly call. Group members get a weekly live session, a few lessons and a shared space to talk.

For that practice we looked at five things:

  1. One login for the whole client journey. Can a client book, sign, pay, check in and join the group in one place?
  2. Between-session delivery. Are there daily check-ins, habits, goals and programs, or only session booking?
  3. Total stack cost. What does this practice pay per month once you add the tools needed to fill gaps?
  4. Setup effort. How long until the coach can open the doors, and is help available?
  5. Scope and privacy fit. Does the tool support agreements and intake, and does the vendor document a BAA for coaches who need one?

We did not run hands-on tests of every product. Features and prices come from what each vendor documents on its own site as of October 2026, and ratings come from public reviews where we cite them.

1. Coachful: best overall for mental health coaches

A laptop showing a client goal with daily tasks and habits next to a tablet showing a coach's client overview
Coachful's client goal view with daily momentum on a laptop, beside the coach's client overview on a tablet.

Coachful wins when you want a client's whole week, not just their appointment, to live in one place. It is a coaching platform where one membership covers booking, payments, coaching agreements, multi-week programs with daily tasks, habits and morning and evening check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login; the client gets one app, carrying the coach's branding inside the Coachful app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than isolated sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and anyone replacing four to six tools.

Between sessions. For a mental health coach, this is the heart of it. You build a multi-week program with weekly goals, daily tasks and habits, then attach morning and evening check-ins. A client might answer two questions about sleep and mood each morning, tick off a five-minute breathing habit, and write one line of reflection at night. Goals carry progress bars and habits carry streaks, so progress is visible to the client without you sending reminders by hand.

Seeing who needs you. Each client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, and Coachful marks each client as thriving, active, quiet or at risk. A client who goes quiet after a hard week stands out on your dashboard rather than slipping through. Before a call, Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, can brief you on that client from live practice data, and it can summarise recorded sessions. Michelle can also give you optional private feedback on your own coaching against ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8. Questions and planning with Michelle are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.

Booking and paperwork. Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. You can add intake questions to the booking itself, which is a natural place for screening questions that help you decide whether coaching is the right fit. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record, so your scope statement is signed and findable. Reminders go by email, plus SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp one hour before once messaging is enabled.

Client coaching hub with the next session, tabs for programs, sessions, progress and documents, and a pre-session task

Payments. Clients pay through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with an invoice per transaction. Since August 2026 Coachful charges a 0% platform fee, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing.

Groups and content. When a client enrols in a group program, Coachful creates the cohort group automatically, with a community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events. Courses support modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking, and you can add downloads, videos and books into the client's branded home. The website builder has 30 designed homepage templates, a blog and a custom domain, and funnels cover booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout flows. If you are earning an ICF credential, Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports a client coaching log.

Here is a short walkthrough of how check-ins are set up:

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you" and describe what you want: a website, a funnel, a program, a course outline, a coaching flow, an intake form or an email sequence. You can attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, photos and existing copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. One recent example: a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing got a five-page site in sage and cream with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation. The service does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management. More detail is in our white-glove service guide.

Coachful Create page with the We will build it for you card
The Create page in Coachful with the card that requests a free white-glove build.

What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app runs under the Coachful listing with your branding, not your own App Store account. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync. If you need a BAA, pair a clinical system for that work or choose a tool that documents one.

Price and how to start. Plans are flat monthly; lower plans cap client numbers, Pro is unlimited, and team plans add coach seats (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Start with a free trial, request a white-glove build of your site or first program, and your clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. 2. Quenza: when your method runs on worksheets and exercises

Quenza fits the coach whose between-session work is mostly structured activities: a thought record, a values exercise, a guided reflection, sent on a schedule and completed in a client app. It is built for coaches and therapists, so its library and activity builder lean toward psychoeducation formats that suit this niche.

Quenza homepage showing its headline and main product sections in October 2026
Quenza's homepage in October 2026.

Quenza documents activities, worksheets, programs (sequences of activities), chat and a client app. As listed in October 2026, Spark costs $25 a month ($20 billed annually) for one professional and 10 clients, Growth costs $50 ($40 annually) for 250 clients, Impact costs $125 for 400 clients, and Collective costs $160 for up to three professionals and 500 clients. There is a 30-day free trial with no card. Quenza holds a 4.3 Trustpilot score from 8 reviews.

The gaps are on the business side. Quenza does not process client payments today; invoicing and digital products are marked as planned. An older vendor profile also lists no scheduling and no video calls. So a Quenza practice usually adds a booking tool, a payment method and a website, and the client has more than one place to go.

Pick it over Coachful if your coaching is built almost entirely on worksheet-style exercises, you already have booking and payments handled elsewhere, and you want a large client allowance at a low monthly price.

3. Acuity Scheduling: for coaches who need a BAA on booking

Here is the scenario Acuity wins: you work alongside a clinic or hold a clinical licence, and you need a signed BAA covering your appointment data. Acuity lists a HIPAA BAA on its Premium plan, which is unusual among scheduling tools aimed at small businesses.

Acuity Scheduling homepage showing its headline and main product sections in October 2026
Acuity Scheduling's homepage in October 2026.

Acuity handles appointment booking with intake forms, packages and memberships, and it connects to your own Stripe, Square, PayPal or Venmo account. As listed in October 2026: Starter is $20 a month ($16 annually) with one calendar, Standard is $34 ($27) with up to six calendars, Premium is $69 ($55) with up to 36 calendars, and Enterprise is custom. Text reminders begin on Standard. Every plan has a 7-day trial with no card. Trustpilot shows 3.6 from 687 reviews.

What you will not get: a client portal for programs, habits, check-ins or messaging, and no courses, community, website builder or email marketing. For a mental health coach, that means Acuity covers the first touch and nothing after it. You would still need somewhere for daily check-ins and group work, and you would need to confirm that every other tool touching client data is covered too.

Pick it over Coachful if a BAA on your scheduling data is a firm requirement and you are willing to run between-session support in a separate system.

4. Mighty Networks: the peer-support community option

If the core of your offer is a community, such as a membership for people working through burnout, with weekly live sessions and members supporting each other, Mighty Networks is purpose-built for that. It combines community spaces, courses and events, with Mighty-branded member apps.

Mighty Networks homepage showing its headline and main product sections in October 2026
Mighty Networks's homepage in October 2026.

Listed prices in October 2026: Launch is $95 a month ($79 annually) with 3 hosts and livestreaming up to 20 hours a month for 100 attendees; Scale is $215 ($179 annually); Growth is $354 a month billed annually; Mighty Pro is custom. Mighty takes a platform fee on sales of 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Pro, plus Stripe processing. The trial runs 14 days with no card. Trustpilot shows 3.3 from 219 reviews.

Mighty Networks is not a 1:1 coaching tool. It has no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, and no per-client habits, check-ins or private plans. Your own branded app sits on the custom-priced Mighty Pro tier. Moderation also matters more in a mental-health-adjacent group: you will need clear community guidelines and a referral process for members who disclose a crisis in a public thread.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a large community-first membership with many hosts and moderators, and 1:1 coaching is a small part of your income.

5. Kajabi: selling a self-paced course at volume

Kajabi suits a coach whose main product is a self-paced course, say a six-module stress-reset program sold through ads and email to thousands of buyers. It bundles courses, a community, a website, funnels and email marketing.

Kajabi homepage showing its headline and main product sections in October 2026
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Basic costs $179 a month ($143 annually) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts and no AI credits; Growth costs $249 ($199) with 50 products and 25,000 contacts; Pro costs $499 ($399). On Kajabi Payments in the US, processing is 2.9% plus $0.30 on Basic, falling slightly on higher tiers; using another processor (other than PayPal) adds a Kajabi fee of 0.5% to 2%. The standard trial is 14 days. Trustpilot shows 3.4 from 2,347 reviews.

For mental health coaching specifically, Kajabi's limits show up fast. It has no habit tracking or daily client check-ins, and coaching is organised as products and communities rather than per-client plans. A 1:1 client working through a 12-week program would not have a personal goal page or a morning check-in. The entry price is also high for a coach with 15 clients.

Pick it over Coachful if course sales to a large audience are your main business, and you want Kajabi's marketing tooling at that scale more than individual client support.

6. Practice Better: if you are also a wellness practitioner

Practice Better wins for the coach who also works as a nutritionist, dietitian or other wellness practitioner and wants charting, telehealth and programs in one practice tool. It is practice management first, which means stronger clinical-style records and a more formal feel than a coaching platform.

Practice Better homepage showing its headline and main product sections in October 2026
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

October 2026 list prices: Sprout is free for 3 clients; Starter is $35 a month ($25 annually) for 10 clients; Professional is $69 ($59) for 300 clients; Plus is $99 ($89) with unlimited clients; Team is $155 ($145) for two practitioners. Trials run 14 days (30 on Team). Payments go through Practice Better Payments, powered by Stripe. Trustpilot shows 3.8 from 87 reviews.

The catches: evergreen programs, portal branding, a custom URL and SMS start on Plus at $99 a month. An older vendor profile notes no website builder or funnel pages, so you still need a site. There is one practitioner per account below Team. For a pure coaching practice, the charting tools may be more than you need, and coaches who are not clinicians should be careful that clinical-style notes do not blur the line between coaching and treatment.

Pick it over Coachful if you hold a clinical or practitioner role alongside coaching, want charting and telehealth in the same system, and do not need a website or funnels from the same vendor. Our health coaching software roundup compares it with other practitioner tools.

7. CoachAccountable: deep action plans for a small roster

Picture a coach with eight long-term 1:1 clients, each tracking a few personal metrics week to week (sleep hours, stress rating, days exercised) against a written action plan. CoachAccountable is designed for exactly that kind of detailed back office.

CoachAccountable homepage showing its headline and main product sections in October 2026
CoachAccountable's homepage in October 2026.

It documents sessions, action plans, metrics, worksheets, courses, invoicing and agreements. Pricing is per active client, as listed in October 2026: $20 a month for 2 active clients, $40 for 5, $70 for 10, $120 for 20, $250 for 50 and $400 for 100. There is a 30-day trial with no card and no limits. Trustpilot shows 4.8 from 47 reviews, the strongest score in this list among direct coaching tools.

The per-client pricing gets expensive for group programs: a 12-person cohort counts as 12 active clients. An older profile lists no native mobile app and no landing pages, website or marketing automation, and the company states it is not HIPAA compliant. The interface is built for depth rather than a light daily check-in experience on a phone. See our CoachAccountable alternatives page for more options.

Pick it over Coachful if you coach a handful of 1:1 clients with detailed metrics and do not run groups or need a website.

8. Paperbell: straightforward admin for package sales

Paperbell is the choice for a coach who sells 1:1 packages (for example, six sessions over three months) and wants booking, payment, contract and a simple client portal set up quickly, with one flat price.

Paperbell homepage showing its headline and main product sections in October 2026
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Paperbell has one plan at $97 a month ($80.83 billed annually) with unlimited clients, sessions, packages and files. The pricing page says there are no additional transaction fees beyond Stripe or PayPal processing, and there is a 30-day money-back guarantee. Its help center described a 7-day trial in July 2026. Trustpilot shows 3.5 from 14 reviews.

For a mental health coach, the missing piece is between-session support: an older profile notes no courses, community, or goal and habit tracking, and no native mobile app (mobile browser only). Clients book and pay, then the space between calls is up to you and whatever other tool you add. The same profile mentions a simple website, which can cover a basic online presence. Our Paperbell alternatives page has more detail.

Pick it over Coachful if you only run 1:1 session packages, want PayPal as a payment option, and do not plan to add programs, groups or courses.

9. Satori: while you are still in training

Satori has a scenario nobody else here covers as directly: coaches studying for a certification can apply for its free Scholar plan with unlimited pro-bono clients. If you are logging practice hours for a mental health or wellness coaching credential, that matters.

Satori homepage showing its headline and main product sections in October 2026
Satori's homepage in October 2026.

Satori documents scheduling, a client portal, packages and programs, invoices and contracts, and only active clients count toward billing. October 2026 list prices: Essentials $33 a month ($27.50 annually) for up to 10 active paying clients; Pro $49 ($40.83); Leader $124 ($103.33). Client limits on Pro and Leader come from an older profile (50 and 150 active clients). The trial is 15 days with no card, and the vendor offers a refund if requested within 30 days of signing up.

Limits: an older profile lists no native mobile app, no native Zoom integration, and no landing pages, courses or community. Once you leave training and start a paid group, you will likely need more tools.

Pick it over Coachful if you are still in a certification program, coach pro-bono clients, and want a free tool to organise those sessions.

10. Calendly: free booking while you test demand

Before you have paying clients, a free booking link may be all you need for discovery calls. That is Calendly's sweet spot.

Calendly homepage showing its headline and main product sections in October 2026
Calendly's homepage in October 2026.

Calendly's Free plan includes one event type and one calendar connection. Standard is $10 per seat per month billed annually, Teams is $16, and Teams Plus is $24; monthly-billing prices were not shown on the pricing page. You connect your own Stripe or PayPal to take payment for bookings. Trustpilot shows 4.1 from 714 reviews.

Calendly is a scheduling tool only. It has no client records, notes, programs, habits or check-ins, no intake questionnaires beyond booking questions, and no contracts or invoicing. Once a discovery call turns into a client, everything else lives elsewhere. Our guide to scheduling software for health coaches compares it with other booking tools.

Pick it over Coachful if all you need right now is a no-cost discovery-call link and you have not started taking clients.

11. Systeme.io: funnels and email on a tight budget

Systeme.io is the low-cost route to a lead magnet (say, a free "five-minute grounding" audio), an email sequence and a starter course, with a free plan that never expires.

Systeme.io homepage showing its headline and main product sections in October 2026
Systeme.io's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026: Free with 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels and 1 course; Startup at $17 a month; Webinar at $47; Unlimited at $97. Systeme.io charges 0% transaction fees on all plans, including Free, and no card is needed to sign up. Trustpilot shows 4.9 from 8,696 reviews.

It is a marketing suite, not a coaching tool. An older profile notes no native 1:1 scheduling with client records, no habits or check-ins, basic community and course features, and no branded mobile app. You would run your marketing here and your client work somewhere else.

Pick it over Coachful if your immediate need is a no-cost funnel and email list, and client delivery can wait or live in another tool.

12. HoneyBook: proposals for workshops and corporate wellbeing

Some mental health coaches earn a share of their income from workplace wellbeing workshops, where the buyer is an HR team that wants a proposal, a contract and an invoice. HoneyBook is a client-management CRM for service businesses built around that flow.

HoneyBook homepage showing its headline and main product sections in October 2026
HoneyBook's homepage in October 2026.

Listed in October 2026: Starter at $29 a month billed annually; Essentials at $59 ($49 annually) with up to 2 team members; Premium at $129 ($109). There is a 30-day trial with no card. HoneyBook processes payments itself; the card rate appears as both 2.7% plus 10 cents and 2.9% plus 25 cents on different parts of its pricing page, and ACH is 1.5%. Trustpilot shows 4.1 from 748 reviews.

There is no coaching delivery: no programs, courses, habits, check-ins or community. The scheduler and automations start on Essentials. For individual clients working on their wellbeing, HoneyBook would cover the paperwork and nothing between sessions.

Pick it over Coachful if most of your revenue comes from corporate workshops sold by proposal, and individual coaching is a small sideline.

How do the features compare side by side?

Coachful is the only tool here with a "Yes" in every column. "Partial" means the feature exists in a limited form; "No" means the vendor did not document it as of October 2026.

The pattern is clear. Tools that do between-session work well (Quenza, CoachAccountable, Practice Better) rarely do marketing and groups, and tools that do marketing and groups (Kajabi, Mighty Networks, Systeme.io) rarely do per-client support. A mental health coach usually needs both.

What does a full stack cost per month?

A single-tool price is misleading if it leaves gaps you fill with other subscriptions. Here are three example stacks built from the tools above, each aimed at covering check-ins, booking and a group or audience, priced at 5, 15 and 40 clients using monthly-billing list prices from October 2026. Payment processing fees are extra in every case.

StackWhat it covers5 clients15 clients40 clients

Example stack C: Paperbell + Mighty Networks LaunchPackages, booking, contracts, simple site, plus a group community; no daily check-ins$192 ($97 + $95)$192$192

Two hidden costs do not show up in the table. Mighty Networks adds a 2% platform fee on Launch sales, and every multi-tool stack means clients learn two or three logins, which tends to reduce check-in completion. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee, and the client sees one branded app. For a fuller look at stacking costs, see our health and wellness coaching software guide.

How would a mental health coach set this up in Coachful?

Here is the example practice from our criteria (15 clients and one group) set up step by step, with what the client sees at each stage.

  1. Request a build. Use the white-glove form to ask for a calm website and a booking funnel for a free 20-minute fit call. Attach your logo, photos and bio.
  2. Write the agreement. Add a coaching agreement that states coaching is not therapy, lists what you will refer on, and explains how clients reach crisis services. The client signs it before the first call.
  3. Add intake questions to the fit call. Ask about goals, current support (such as a therapist), and anything that suggests a clinical referral. You read the answers on the client record before you meet.
  4. Build the 12-week program. Set weekly goals, a daily breathing habit, a morning check-in on sleep and mood, and an evening reflection. The client opens one app each morning and sees exactly what today asks of them.
  5. Set up the group. Create the eight-week cohort program; the cohort group appears automatically on enrolment, with a feed, chat and weekly video events.
  6. Watch status, not inboxes. Check which clients are quiet or at risk each morning, and use Michelle's briefing before each call.

For more on client-facing portals in this space, see the best platform for mental health coaches and the best app for mental health coaches.

What mistakes should you avoid when choosing?

  • Buying a booking tool and calling it a coaching system. Booking covers one hour a week. The client's other 167 hours are where habit change happens.
  • Storing clinical notes in a coaching tool. If you are not a clinician, keep notes about goals and actions, not diagnoses. If you are, keep clinical records in a system covered by a BAA.
  • Skipping the written scope statement. An agreement that names what coaching does not cover protects the client and you.
  • Underestimating group costs on per-client pricing. A 12-person cohort can multiply a per-client bill quickly.
  • Forgetting the client's experience. Three apps, three passwords and three notification styles is a lot to ask of someone who came to you feeling overwhelmed.

Which software should a mental health coach choose?

Choose Coachful if you want one place for the whole client journey: booking, signed agreements, payments, multi-week programs with daily check-ins and habits, groups, courses and your website, with your branding on the client's app and a free white-glove build to get started. It is the best fit for most mental health coaches who deliver programs rather than single sessions and do not need a BAA.

Choose Quenza for worksheet-heavy methods, Acuity Scheduling when a BAA on booking is required, Mighty Networks for a large community-first membership, Kajabi for course sales at volume, and Practice Better if you also practise as a clinician or wellness practitioner. For other coaching niches, our mindset coaching software guide and grief and loss coaching software guide cover nearby audiences.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best software for mental health coaches?

For most mental health coaches who run multi-week programs, Coachful is the strongest all-round choice because it combines booking, agreements, payments, daily check-ins, habits, groups and a website in one branded app. If your work is mainly worksheet-based, Quenza is a good specialist alternative. If you need a BAA, look at Acuity Scheduling's Premium plan or a clinical practice tool.

Do mental health coaches need HIPAA-compliant software?

It depends on whether you are a HIPAA covered entity or business associate, which usually involves insurance billing or working for a provider. Many coaches who do not bill insurance fall outside that definition, but the rules vary by situation, so check with an attorney. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA.

Can I use coaching software for therapy clients?

Coaching software is designed for coaching, not clinical treatment. If you are a licensed therapist, keep clinical records in a system built for that and covered by a BAA. Coaches who are not clinicians should refer clients with clinical needs to a licensed professional.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a done-for-you build included on every Coachful plan. You describe what you want (a website, funnel, program, course outline, form or email sequence), attach references, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design or ad management.

How do daily check-ins help mental health coaching clients?

Short morning and evening check-ins keep clients reflecting between sessions and give you a record of mood, sleep and progress to review before calls. In Coachful, check-ins sit inside the client's program alongside habits and goals, so they do not need a separate app.

Which tool is cheapest for a new mental health coach?

Calendly and Systeme.io both have free plans, and Satori offers a free Scholar plan to coaches in training, by application. Free tools usually cover one job, though, so you may end up with several. Compare the full stack cost, not just the entry price.

Can I run group programs and 1:1 coaching in the same tool?

Yes, in Coachful a group program creates a cohort group automatically with chat, a feed and video events, while 1:1 clients keep their own programs. Tools like Paperbell and Satori focus on 1:1, and Mighty Networks focuses on groups.

How should software support referral to a therapist?

Use intake questions to surface current support and warning signs, put your referral policy in a signed coaching agreement, and keep crisis resources such as the 988 Lifeline easy for clients to find. Software can organise this, but the judgement is yours, so learn the red flags that call for a referral.

Can I move my existing clients into Coachful?

Yes. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and you can export your full client data as a ZIP at any time. That makes it easier to switch without rebuilding everything by hand.
