The 7 Best Buffer Alternatives for Coaches, Compared

The 7 Best Buffer Alternatives for Coaches, Compared

The best buffer alternatives for coaches depend on one question: is social posting the job you need done, or is it the first step of a client journey that Buffer stops short of? Buffer is a capable, fairly priced scheduler. It does not take a booking, collect a payment, send a coaching agreement or deliver a program. If those jobs live in four other apps, swapping Buffer for another scheduler changes very little. If you want them in one place, the right replacement is a coaching platform that also publishes your posts.

Our pick is Coachful, a coaching platform that includes a social planner for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube alongside booking, payments, contracts, programs, courses, community, a website with funnels and email. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read the sections below where we say plainly what Buffer and the other schedulers do better. The six alternatives after it are split between dedicated social tools (Metricool, Planoly, Later, Hootsuite) and coaching platforms with no scheduler at all (Paperbell, Practice Better), because coaches who leave Buffer usually want one of those two things.

What does a coach's client journey need from a Buffer replacement?

A coach needs a tool that turns posts into booked calls and booked calls into enrolled, retained clients. Buffer handles the first part of the first stage. Map the four stages before you compare tools, because the stage where your business leaks is the one your replacement should fix.

Attract: posts, a link in bio and somewhere to send people

Coaches post to build trust: a client win (with permission), a reframe from last week's session, a short video answering a common question. Buffer publishes those posts to a long list of networks and gives you a Start Page link-in-bio page. What it cannot do is catch the person who clicks. The link needs to go to a lead magnet, an application form or a booking page, and that page should add the person to an email list. When the scheduler and the landing page live in separate tools, you lose the thread between "this post" and "this enquiry".

Enroll: discovery call, agreement and payment

A coach's sale is usually a conversation. The prospect books a free call, answers a few intake questions, and if it is a fit, pays for a package and signs an agreement before the first session. That needs a booking page with time-zone detection and buffers, calendar sync, a checkout for one-off payments, payment plans or subscriptions, and an e-signature step. None of the dedicated schedulers in this list handles all of it.

Deliver: sessions plus the work between them

Most coaching value happens between calls: the weekly goal, the daily habit, the evening reflection, the worksheet. A group program adds a cohort space and live calls. This is the stage Buffer users most often patch with a mix of Google Docs, WhatsApp groups and a course platform. See our guide to group coaching software if group delivery is your main gap.

Retain: noticing who is drifting and inviting them back

Renewals come from clients who feel progress. A coach needs to see who stopped checking in, keep a community active and send email sequences to past clients and leads. A social scheduler's analytics tell you which post performed; they do not tell you which client is quietly about to cancel.

Which stages does each tool cover?

Only one tool in this list covers all four stages with one login. The table shows where each one starts and stops, based on what each vendor documents.

Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost for a working coaching business, and setup effort (including Coachful's free white-glove build).

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

How did we choose and rank these Buffer alternatives?

We started from why coaches leave Buffer, then ranked by how much of the coaching business each tool removes from your plate. Three patterns come up: coaches who want deeper analytics or Instagram automation, coaches who want a link in bio that actually sells, and coaches who realise the scheduler was never the bottleneck.

  • Journey coverage. A tool that covers booking, payment and delivery ranks above one that only publishes, unless the publishing is unusually strong for coaches.
  • Between-session delivery. Habits, check-ins and programs carry extra weight, because that is where coaching retention is won.
  • Total stack cost. We compare what a coach pays for a working business, not just for the posting tool.
  • Setup effort. A platform you never finish setting up is worth less than a simpler one you use.

Vendor prices and limits come from each vendor's pricing page as listed in October 2026. We did not run hands-on tests; where we describe weaknesses, they come from vendor documentation or public reviews. Paperbell's pricing page blocked automated access on the day of writing, so its price is from our 17 October 2026 check of that page. If you want a broader look at all-in-one options, start with our coaching software overview.

What does Buffer do well, and why do coaches leave it?

Buffer is cheap, simple and broad. As listed in October 2026, its Free plan covers up to 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel at a time, one user, and an unlimited AI Assistant for writing and repurposing posts. Essentials costs $6 per channel per month (or $5 billed yearly), so a coach on Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook pays $18 a month, or $15 a month billed yearly. Team is $12 per channel monthly ($10 yearly) and adds unlimited users and approval workflows.

Buffer pricing page showing Free, Essentials and Team plans priced per channel
Buffer's pricing page in October 2026.

Buffer publishes to more networks than anything else here: Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube Shorts, Threads, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Mastodon and Substack. Paid plans include unlimited Insights history, reports, hashtag manager and first-comment scheduling. Its Trustpilot score was 4.2 from 146 reviews when we checked in October 2026. Those are real strengths.

The limits for a coach show up elsewhere. The community inbox is for comments; direct messages are not part of it, and no DM automation is listed, which matters when "DM me READY" is how your launches work. A Start Page counts as a billable channel on paid plans. And Buffer has no booking calendar, client records, payments, programs or courses, so every enquiry it generates has to be handed to another tool.

1. Coachful: best for coaches who want posting and the whole client journey in one place

Laptop showing Coachful's coach dashboard and a tablet showing the sessions calendar on an oak desk
Coachful's coach dashboard with client statuses on a laptop, beside the sessions calendar on a tablet.

Coachful is a coaching platform where the social planner sits next to everything a post is supposed to lead to. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and Michelle, the built-in AI assistant. The coach has one login; the client gets one app with the coach's branding inside the Coachful app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than single sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and anyone currently paying for four to six separate tools.

The social planner, and how it compares to Buffer

You will find it under Sell, then How you reach them, then Social planner. Michelle helps with post ideas and captions, and you schedule and publish to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube from one calendar. Each network publishes separately, with a per-network retry and a notification if one fails, so a LinkedIn error does not hold back your Instagram post.

Be clear about what it is not. Coachful does not publish to TikTok or Pinterest, and it has no social analytics dashboard or unified social inbox. If TikTok is your main channel or you live in post-performance reports, Buffer is stronger at that one job, and some coaches keep a small Buffer plan for those networks next to Coachful.

Where the post sends people

The link in your bio can be Coachful's link-in-bio page, which sells, or a funnel. Coachful has booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels, with Meta Pixel and UTM tracking, plus about 25 funnel templates. The website builder has 30 designed homepage templates, a blog, SEO settings and a custom domain. See the coach website builder page for the details.

Booking, agreement and payment in one flow

Booking pages have availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync. Sessions use built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Reminders go by email, and by SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) once messaging is enabled. Intake questions can be asked at booking. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee; you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record.

Delivery between sessions

This is the gap Buffer users usually fill with spreadsheets and group chats. Coachful runs multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, progress bars and streaks. Courses support modules, drip and completion tracking. Enrolling in a program can create a cohort group automatically, with a community feed, group chat and video events. There are more than 40 ready-to-film program templates and 48 course templates with quizzes.

Retention you can see

Each client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk and an AI briefing before sessions. Email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits are included in your Coachful membership, so a past-client nurture sequence does not need another subscription. Our email marketing for coaches page covers that side.

This short walkthrough shows how a client moves from first contact to an active program inside one account:

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, then "We'll build it for you · FREE", you describe what you want built (a website, a funnel, a sales page, a program, an email sequence, a link in bio) and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, photos and existing copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. A leadership coach with a website renewal days away, for example, got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management. More in our white-glove service guide.

What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified, has no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no TikTok or Pinterest publishing, no social analytics dashboard and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration. Pricing is a set of flat monthly plans, where lower plans cap clients and Pro is unlimited (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). You can start with a free trial and request the white-glove build on day one.

2. Metricool: is it the better Buffer for analytics-minded coaches?

Yes, if numbers drive your content. Metricool is a planner and analytics tool that connects Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky, Google Business Profile, Twitch and LinkedIn (LinkedIn on paid plans), plus your website or blog and Facebook, Google and TikTok ads accounts. X is available only through a $10 a month add-on, as listed in October 2026.

Metricool homepage introducing its social media planning and analytics tool
Metricool's homepage in October 2026.

For a coach, the most useful paid feature is Flows, which automates Instagram comment-to-DM and keyword DM replies. That covers the "comment GUIDE and I'll send it" lead-magnet pattern that Buffer does not support. SmartLinks, Metricool's link-in-bio page, is on every plan. Paid plans keep unlimited analytics history and let you track up to 100 competitor profiles, which suits a coach studying how others in their niche talk about the same problems.

On price, the Free plan is "free, forever" for 1 brand with 20 scheduled posts a month, 30 days of analytics and 5 AI credits, but it excludes LinkedIn and X. For many business and executive coaches, LinkedIn is the main channel, so the Free plan will not work. Starter costs $25 a month, or $20 a month billed yearly, for up to 5 brands with publishing under a fair-use policy. Advanced starts at $67 a month ($53 yearly) for up to 15 brands and adds unlimited team members. Metricool scored 4.1 from 690 reviews on Trustpilot when checked in October 2026, the best score among the social tools here.

The limit is the same as Buffer's: once someone replies to your DM, Metricool's job ends. You still need a booking page, checkout, agreement and somewhere to deliver the work. Metricool does not list a standard free trial of its paid plans; the Free plan plays that role.

Pick it over Coachful if you post heavily on TikTok or Pinterest, want competitor benchmarking and ad reporting in one dashboard, and already have a coaching platform you are happy with.

3. Planoly: a visual planner with a storefront attached

Planoly is the closest thing to a coach-friendly scheduler in this list, because every paid plan includes Creator Store. Creator Store is a link-in-bio storefront that sells digital downloads, e-courses, memberships, live events and paid 1:1 consultations, and Planoly takes no cut of those sales (Stripe or PayPal processing fees still apply). The 1:1 bookings support availability windows, buffers, Google Calendar sync and video links, as listed in October 2026.

The planner itself is built around Instagram's grid. You arrange posts visually and Planoly auto-posts to Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads and Pinterest. X is reminder-only, and Bluesky and Google Business Profile are not supported. Coaches who think in visual themes, such as a wellness coach planning a calm, consistent feed, tend to like this approach more than Buffer's queue.

Pricing is per Social Set (one account per network). Starter is $16 a month ($14 billed yearly) for 1 Social Set, 1 user and unlimited uploads. Growth is $28 ($24 yearly) for 2 Social Sets and 2 users; Pro is $55 ($47 yearly) for 6. The free tier lives on the mobile app only, with 10 uploads a month. All paid plans have a 14-day free trial. Planoly's Trustpilot score was 3.2 from 61 reviews in October 2026.

What Creator Store does not give you is coaching delivery after the sale. There is no habit tracking, check-in flow, client status or cohort community listed. It works for selling a workbook or a single paid call from Instagram; a 12-week program with weekly accountability needs more.

Pick it over Coachful if Instagram is nearly your whole business, you mostly sell one-off calls and digital products from your bio link, and you want the lowest monthly cost for that setup.

4. Paperbell: for coaches whose real problem was never the posting

Paperbell does not schedule social posts at all. It belongs here because many coaches searching for a Buffer replacement are really looking for the thing that should catch their audience: a simple place to sell a coaching package. Paperbell bundles a coaching website, scheduling, payments, contracts and intake forms into one checkout, with unlimited clients and a 0% platform fee.

Paperbell homepage introducing its all-in-one tool for selling coaching packages
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

A client picks a package, pays (through Stripe or PayPal, with subscriptions, payment plans and coupons), signs the contract and books the first session in one flow. Booking includes time-zone detection, gaps between appointments and reminders, with Google, iCal/Apple and Outlook sync and Zoom links. Group programs, workshops and online classes are supported, and you can deliver content inside packages. Public reviewers on Capterra and G2 consistently praise how simple it is.

The price is a single tier: $97 a month or $970 a year, per coach. That figure comes from our 17 October 2026 check of Paperbell's pricing page, because the page refused automated access on the day of writing; confirm it before you buy. Paperbell has no community, no habit or goal tracking, no native mobile app and one coach per account. Its Trustpilot score was 3.9 from 13 reviews when profiled in September 2026. Paired with Buffer Essentials for three channels, the stack runs about $115 a month on monthly billing, before email marketing or courses. If you are comparing Paperbell more broadly, see our Paperbell alternatives roundup.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell straightforward 1:1 packages, want PayPal at checkout, and are happy to keep Buffer or another scheduler for social.

5. Practice Better: when your coaching sits next to clinical work

Practice Better describes itself as an all-in-one EHR (electronic health record) for practitioners such as nutritionists, dietitians, functional medicine practitioners and health coaches. Like Paperbell, it has no social scheduler. It earns a place for coaches who also hold a clinical licence and need compliance features a coaching platform does not offer.

Practice Better homepage introducing its practice management platform for health practitioners
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Its pricing page, fetched on the day of writing, lists HIPAA, PIPEDA and GDPR compliance on its plans, along with scheduling, telehealth video, integrated billing and payments, secure messaging, a client portal, forms and note templates. Programs and courses are included, with fixed-date programs on Professional and evergreen and self-paced programs on Plus. Plus also adds portal branding, 750 SMS reminders and 10,000 broadcast messages a month.

Prices are per month on monthly billing: Starter $35 for 10 clients, Professional $69 for 300 clients, Plus $99 for unlimited clients, and Team $155 with 2 practitioner licences. Billed yearly, those drop to $25, $59, $89 and $145. A free Sprout plan supports 3 clients. Paid plans have a 14-day trial, and the Team plan a 30-day trial. The page cites a 4.7 G2 rating from more than 250 reviews.

For a non-clinical coach, the EHR framing is overhead: charting, ePrescribe and insurance billing are features you will not use, and social posting still needs a separate tool. For a dietitian who also runs group coaching, it is the safer home for clinical records. Coaching is not medical treatment; if a client's goals involve diagnosing or treating a condition, that work belongs with a licensed clinician and a system built for clinical records.

Pick it over Coachful if you need HIPAA compliance, keep clinical notes, or bill insurance.

6. Later: is the Instagram-first planner still worth it?

Later suits coaches who plan Instagram visually and want a link-in-bio page that collects email sign-ups, but its plan limits and reviews make it a harder sell than it once was. It publishes to Instagram, Facebook Pages, Threads, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube (Shorts only) and Snapchat. X support ended on 28 August 2025, and Bluesky and Google Business Profile are not supported.

Later homepage introducing its social media scheduling and link in bio tool
Later's homepage in October 2026.

Every plan includes a Link in Bio page that can send email sign-ups to Mailchimp or a CSV, which gives a coach a basic lead capture point that Buffer's Start Page does not. Starter and above remove Later branding from it. The Social Inbox for Instagram and Facebook DMs and comments starts on Growth.

Plans are capped by posts per profile. As listed in October 2026, Free allows 12 posts per profile per month with no analytics. Starter is $25 a month ($18.75 billed yearly) for one Social Set of up to 8 profiles, 30 posts per profile per month and 5 AI credits. Growth is $50 ($37.50 yearly) with 180 posts per profile, 2 users and 50 AI credits; Scale is $110 ($82.50 yearly). A coach posting daily to Instagram would hit Starter's 30-post cap. The 14-day trial requires a card and converts to paid unless cancelled. Later's Trustpilot score was 1.4 from 352 reviews in October 2026, much lower than Buffer's.

Compared with Buffer, Later costs more for a three-network coach and caps posts, but its Instagram grid preview and email-capturing bio link are better suited to a coach growing a list from Instagram.

Pick it over Coachful if you need Snapchat or Pinterest publishing with a visual grid preview, and your client delivery already lives in another tool.

7. Hootsuite: only for coaching companies with a social team

Hootsuite is an enterprise social suite, and for a solo coach it is the most expensive way to replace Buffer. Standard is $149 per user per month, or $99 billed yearly, for up to 10 social accounts and 100 AI credits. Professional is $299 ($199 yearly) with unlimited accounts, and Advanced is $499 ($399 yearly). There is no free plan; the 14-day trial needs no card but limits daily posting.

Hootsuite homepage introducing its social media management suite for teams
Hootsuite's homepage in October 2026.

What the money buys: a unified inbox for comments and DMs on every plan, including WhatsApp messages, Hootbio link in bio, competitive benchmarking, and publishing to Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky and Google Business Profile. DM automations and automated responses start on Professional. Its Trustpilot score was 1.3 from 556 reviews in October 2026.

A coaching company with several coaches and a marketing hire handling community management may justify that. For a solo coach, Hootsuite Standard at monthly billing costs more than eight times Buffer Essentials on three channels, and it still has no booking, payments or programs.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a multi-coach brand with a dedicated social media manager who needs a shared DM inbox, approvals and competitor reports across many accounts.

What does each stack cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Social schedulers charge by channel or user, not by client, so their cost stays flat as you grow while the rest of your stack does not. The table uses monthly billing as listed in October 2026 and a coach posting to three networks.

These are example stacks built from listed prices, before payment processing fees and before any email or course tool you add. Paperbell's figure is from our 17 October 2026 check.

Which stack recipe fits your coaching business?

There are three sensible ways to replace Buffer, and the right one depends on where your clients come from and how you deliver.

Recipe 1: all-in-one

Coachful alone. The social planner covers Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube; posts point to a funnel or booking page in the same account; the agreement, payment, program and community follow. One bill (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients), one login, one client app. Best for coaches running programs or group cohorts who post mainly on Instagram and LinkedIn.

Recipe 2: all-in-one plus a small scheduler

Coachful for the business, plus Buffer Essentials for the networks Coachful does not publish to. A coach who needs TikTok and Pinterest would pay Buffer $12 a month on monthly billing for those two channels. Best for coaches with a real audience on TikTok or Pinterest who still want delivery in one place.

Recipe 3: assembled

A scheduler (Buffer, Metricool, Planoly or Later) plus a coaching admin tool (Paperbell or Practice Better), plus an email tool and possibly a course or community platform. This can work, and Paperbell plus Buffer is a common pairing. The cost is in the gaps: leads land in one tool, clients in another, and you copy data between them. Our GoHighLevel alternatives for coaches guide covers the other end of this spectrum, where one tool does too much.

How would a coach set this up in Coachful, step by step?

Here is an example: a career coach leaving Buffer who posts on LinkedIn and Instagram, offers a free 20-minute call, sells a 6-week job-search program and wants past clients back for interview prep.

Laptop showing Coachful's coaching flows library and a phone showing the client's coaching hub
Coachful's coaching flows library with journey templates on a laptop, next to the client's coaching hub with the next session on a phone.
  1. Request the build. From Create, ask for the white-glove build: a homepage, a booking funnel for the free call and a program sales page. Attach your LinkedIn headline, logo and existing program outline.
  2. Connect Stripe. Connect your own Stripe account (or Razorpay) and create the program offer, with a payment plan if you split the fee.
  3. Set up the discovery call. Create the free session type with availability, a 15-minute buffer, minimum notice and two intake questions ("What role are you aiming for?" and "What has stalled your search?"). Sync your Google or Outlook calendar.
  4. Add the agreement. Attach your coaching agreement so it is signed before the first paid session.
  5. Build the program. Start from a program template and set weekly goals (CV, LinkedIn profile, outreach, interviews), daily tasks and a Friday check-in. Enrollment creates the cohort group.
  6. Plan the posts. In the social planner, ask Michelle for a month of post ideas from your program themes, edit them in your voice, and schedule to LinkedIn and Instagram. Point the link in bio to the booking funnel.
  7. Write the follow-up. Create an email sequence for people who book but do not buy, and a separate one for program graduates offering interview prep sessions.
  8. Review weekly. Check the client list for anyone marked quiet or at risk, and check which funnel sources (via UTM tracking) brought in booked calls.

How do you migrate off Buffer without losing anything?

Plan the move around Buffer's export limits, because scheduled posts cannot be exported directly.

  • Export your analytics first. Paid Buffer plans export Insights as CSV (a zip with summary, posts and timeseries files), Markdown or PDF. On Free, you can only download chart snapshots as images. Do this before downgrading.
  • Copy your queue by hand or through the API. Buffer offers an API on every plan. For most coaches, copying the next two to four weeks of posts into the new planner is quicker.
  • Mind the trial downgrade. A Buffer trial that ends without payment details drops to Free, and channels beyond three are locked. Keep the account until your new tool is posting.
  • Update every bio link on the same day. If you used Buffer's Start Page, swap each profile's link to the new page or funnel and check them on mobile.
  • Move clients and content, not just posts. If you are also leaving a coaching admin tool, Coachful imports clients, programs and content for you during onboarding.
  • Run both for a week. Schedule a few posts in the new tool while the last Buffer posts publish, then cancel.

What mistakes do coaches make when replacing Buffer?

  • Swapping scheduler for scheduler. If enquiries die between DM and booking, a nicer calendar view will not fix it.
  • Picking by network count. Buffer and Hootsuite support the most networks, but most coaches get their clients from one or two. Choose for those.
  • Ignoring post caps. Later's Starter allows 30 posts per profile per month; Metricool's Free plan allows 20 posts a month in total.
  • Forgetting LinkedIn. Metricool's Free plan excludes it, which rules it out for many business and executive coaches.
  • Pricing only the posting tool. Add booking, payments, email and delivery before comparing.
  • Putting clinical records in a coaching tool. If you hold a clinical licence and keep health records, use a HIPAA-compliant system.

Which Buffer alternative should a coach choose?

For most coaches, the answer is Coachful: it publishes to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube, then handles the booking, agreement, payment, program, community and email that come after a post. Choose Metricool if analytics and Instagram DM automation are your priority and your delivery is already solved. Choose Planoly if you sell one-off calls and products from Instagram on a tight budget. Choose Paperbell or Practice Better if your real gap was selling packages or clinical compliance, and keep a scheduler next to them. Later and Hootsuite fit narrower cases: Instagram-grid planners and social teams. If you want to compare further, see our comparison hub or the Calendly alternatives for coaches guide for the booking side.

Buffer is a good scheduler and cheap for a coach on three networks: $18 a month on Essentials, or free for up to 3 channels with 10 queued posts each, as listed in October 2026. It does not handle bookings, payments, agreements or client delivery, so coaches pair it with other tools.

Can Coachful replace Buffer completely?

It can if you post to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads or YouTube. Coachful does not publish to TikTok or Pinterest and has no social analytics dashboard, so coaches who rely on those keep a small scheduler alongside it.

What is the cheapest Buffer alternative for coaches?

Among the paid social tools here, Planoly Starter is the lowest at $16 a month ($14 billed yearly), and it includes Creator Store for selling calls and products. Metricool and Later have free plans, with tight post limits.

Which Buffer alternative automates Instagram DMs?

Metricool's Flows automate comment-to-DM and keyword DM replies on paid plans. Hootsuite offers DM automations from its Professional plan. Buffer's community inbox covers comments only.

Does Coachful have a social inbox?

No. Coachful's social planner schedules and publishes posts with per-network retries and failure notifications, but it has no unified social inbox. Client conversations happen in Coachful's messaging, community and email instead.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a free build service on every plan: you describe a website, funnel, program, email sequence or other asset, attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not invent credentials, testimonials or prices, and it does not cover video recording, logo design or ad management.

Is there a Buffer alternative with booking built in?

Coachful and Planoly both combine social posting with paid bookings. Planoly's bookings live in Creator Store; Coachful's connect to agreements, programs and client records. Paperbell and Practice Better have booking but no social posting.

Can I export my scheduled posts from Buffer?

Not directly. Buffer lets paid plans export Insights as CSV, Markdown or PDF, and offers an API on every plan, but scheduled posts have no export button. Most coaches copy their next few weeks of posts by hand.

Is Coachful suitable for health coaches handling medical information?

Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so clinical records and insurance billing belong in a clinical system such as Practice Better. Coaching itself is not treatment; refer clients to a licensed professional when their needs move into diagnosis or care.

How do I start with Coachful?

Start a free trial, then request the white-glove build from the Create page so your site, funnel or program is ready while you connect Stripe and your calendar. Monthly plans cancel in one click.
