Flodesk Pricing in 2026: Plans, Fees and What Coaches Pay

Flodesk Pricing in 2026: Plans, Fees and What Coaches Pay

Flodesk pricing in October 2026 starts at $0 for the Free plan, which builds forms, landing pages and link-in-bio pages but cannot send email. The cheapest plan that sends is Lite at $25 a month, or $19 a month billed annually. Pro starts at $28 a month ($25 annually) and Everything at $54 a month ($49 annually). Those starting prices cover up to 1,000 active subscribers. Above that, every paid plan climbs a subscriber slider: a coach with 5,000 subscribers on Everything pays $107 a month, or $99 a month on annual billing.

Flodesk switched to this subscriber-based model on December 2, 2025. Before that date it sold a flat-rate plan with unlimited subscribers. Members who joined earlier keep it, but new accounts cannot buy it, so older reviews quoting one flat price no longer apply. Every Flodesk figure below comes from its pricing page and help center as listed in October 2026, in US dollars, which Flodesk says are the same for members worldwide.

This guide covers every plan, the full subscriber ladder, Stripe fees, the gotchas that raise the bill, what three typical coaching businesses would pay, and how the total compares with Kit, Systeme.io, Kajabi and Coachful.

  • Free: $0, unlimited forms, landing pages and link-in-bio pages, no email sending.
  • Lite: from $25 a month or $19 a month annually, 1 seat, capped at 25,000 subscribers.
  • Pro: from $28 a month or $25 a month annually, unlimited workflows, 2 seats.
  • Everything: from $54 a month or $49 a month annually, unlimited checkouts and sales pages, 3 seats.
  • Payments: no Flodesk transaction fee stated; Stripe processing of 3% + $0.30 per sale on Stripe Express in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
  • Trial: 14 days, no credit card required.

What plans does Flodesk offer, and what do they cost?

Flodesk sells one free plan and three paid plans, and all three paid plans include unlimited email sends. The table shows each plan's starting price, which covers up to 1,000 active subscribers, as listed in October 2026.

PlanMonthly billingAnnual billing (per month)Subscriber rangeSeatsMain features
Free$0$0No subscriber limitNot statedUnlimited forms, landing pages, link-in-bio pages, templates and segmentation; no email sending
Lite$25$19Base price up to 1,000; maximum 25,0001Unlimited email sends, email analytics, 1 workflow (limited-time bonus)
Pro$28$25Base price up to 1,000; slider to 255,0002Unlimited workflows, advanced analytics, hide the Flodesk footer, 1 checkout (limited-time bonus)
Everything$54$49Base price up to 1,000; slider to 255,0003Unlimited checkouts, sales pages and funnels, subscriptions and payment plans, abandoned-cart automations

Two features in that table carry a "limited time bonus" label on Flodesk's page: the single workflow on Lite and the single checkout on Pro. Flodesk's FAQ describes Lite as limited to one workflow automation and 25,000 subscribers. Treat both bonuses as features that could change, and check the page on the day you sign up before you build a business process around them.

Flodesk pricing page with the Free, Lite, Pro and Everything plans
Flodesk's pricing page in October 2026.

The annual discount is uneven. Flodesk describes annual billing as one month free, meaning you pay for 11 months instead of 12, and that matches Pro and Everything closely. Lite at 1,000 subscribers is the exception: $19 a month on annual billing against $25 monthly is a cut of about 24%. Above 1,000 subscribers, Lite's annual saving shrinks back toward one month (for example, $29 against $32 at 2,500 subscribers).

Build your platform

How does the Flodesk price change as your list grows?

Every paid plan costs more each time your active subscriber count crosses a tier, and Flodesk publishes the full ladder on its pricing slider. These are the main steps as listed in October 2026, with the monthly price first and the per-month price on annual billing second.

Active subscribers (up to)Lite (monthly / annual)Pro (monthly / annual)Everything (monthly / annual)
1,000$25 / $19$28 / $25$54 / $49
2,500$32 / $29$39 / $35$87 / $79
5,000$52 / $48$59 / $54$107 / $99
10,000$72 / $66$79 / $72$137 / $126
15,000$102 / $94$109 / $100$177 / $162
20,000$132 / $121$139 / $127$217 / $199
25,000$162 / $149$169 / $155$257 / $236
50,000Not available$389 / $357$527 / $483
255,000Not available$1,589 / $1,457$1,927 / $1,766

Three patterns stand out for coaches reading this ladder:

  • Pro costs only a few dollars more than Lite. At every tier up to 25,000 subscribers, Pro is $3 to $7 a month more than Lite on monthly billing and $6 a month more on annual billing. That gap buys unlimited workflows, a second seat and the option to hide the Flodesk footer, so Lite rarely makes sense once you need more than one automated sequence.
  • Selling costs more as your list grows, not as your sales grow. On monthly billing, Everything costs $26 a month more than Pro at 1,000 subscribers, $48 more at 5,000, $68 more at 15,000 and $88 more at 25,000. You pay that premium whether you sell one product a year or fifty.
  • Lite stops at 25,000. Past 25,000 active subscribers you have to move to Pro or Everything, which run all the way to 255,000 subscribers at $1,589 and $1,927 a month on monthly billing.

Only active subscribers count. Flodesk's FAQ says contacts who unsubscribed, bounced or were cleaned from the list do not count toward your tier, which makes list hygiene a direct cost lever.

What does each Flodesk plan add?

Each step up the plan ladder adds one capability: Lite adds sending, Pro adds automation and branding control, and Everything adds selling.

Free: list building without sending

The Free plan is a list-building plan, not an email plan. It includes unlimited forms, landing pages, link-in-bio pages, templates and segmentation with no subscriber limit, but it cannot send email or run workflow automations. When the 14-day trial ends without an upgrade, Flodesk moves the account to Free and, according to its FAQ, keeps your subscriber data.

For a new coach, that makes Free a reasonable holding pen. You can put a lead magnet form on your site, collect sign-ups, and pay only when you are ready to send. Decide when you will upgrade before you share the form, because the Free plan cannot send the welcome email or the guide people signed up for.

Lite: unlimited sends for a simple newsletter

Lite adds unlimited email sends and email analytics, with one seat and a ceiling of 25,000 subscribers. It currently includes one workflow automation as a limited-time bonus. That covers a weekly newsletter plus a single welcome sequence. It does not cover a coach who wants a welcome sequence, a nurture sequence for a free guide and a post-call follow-up running at the same time.

Pro: unlimited workflows and your own branding

Pro adds unlimited workflows, advanced analytics and the option to hide the Flodesk footer, with two seats and a slider that runs to 255,000 subscribers. Flodesk calls it its most popular plan. Pro currently includes one integrated checkout as a limited-time bonus, so you can sell a single offer, such as a paid workshop, without moving to Everything. A dedicated IP address is available as an add-on on Pro and Everything.

Everything: checkout, sales pages and funnels

Everything adds unlimited checkouts, sales pages and funnels, subscriptions and payment plans, discount codes and abandoned-cart automations, with three seats. This is the plan for a coach who wants Flodesk to sell as well as send: a course, a paid challenge, a membership on a subscription, or a program split into installments. Flodesk says its checkouts carry no extra platform fee; you pay only Stripe's processing.

What fees does Flodesk charge on top of the plan price?

Flodesk states no transaction fee of its own. The costs beyond the subscription are Stripe's processing on anything you sell, the dedicated IP add-on if you want it, and the automatic step up when your list crosses a tier.

Payment processing

Flodesk Checkout runs on Stripe, connected through either Stripe Express or Stripe Standard. According to Flodesk's Stripe help article, Express accounts pay 3% + $0.30 per transaction in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, 3% + £0.30 in the UK and 3% + €0.30 in Europe. Standard accounts pay their own regional Stripe rate instead, and Apple Pay and Google Pay are available on Standard.

On an illustrative $500 sale through Express, processing comes to $15.30. Ten such sales in a launch cost $153 in processing on top of the plan. Payment plans add the $0.30 fixed fee to every installment, so the same $500 split into three payments of about $166.67 costs roughly $15.90 to process. For help choosing the price itself, see our guide to pricing coaching packages.

Where checkout works

Checkout payments are supported only for businesses based in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Euro Area countries. Flodesk's email features work worldwide, but a coach based elsewhere cannot use Pro's checkout or Everything's selling tools and would need a separate payment tool, which removes most of the reason to pay for Everything.

Add-ons

The only add-on listed is a dedicated IP address, available on Pro and Everything. Flodesk does not show its price on the pricing page, so ask support for a quote before you budget for it.

Overages and tier changes

Flodesk does not stop your emails when you outgrow a tier. Its FAQ says that if your active subscriber count passes your tier, the account moves up to the next tier at your next billing date, with in-app and email warnings at 90%, 95% and 100% of the limit. If the list later drops below the previous tier, the plan can be downgraded. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the billing cycle.

In practice, a successful lead magnet can raise your bill without a decision on your part. A Pro account that grows from 900 to 1,100 active subscribers moves from $28 to $39 a month on monthly billing.

Seats

Seats are fixed by plan: one on Lite, two on Pro, three on Everything. The add-ons section lists only the dedicated IP, not extra seats, so a coach working with both an assistant and a copywriter needs Everything for the seats alone.

Currency

Prices are in US dollars and identical worldwide, per Flodesk's FAQ. Coaches whose cards are in another currency should expect their bank's conversion rate and any foreign transaction charge on top.

What does a coach actually pay for Flodesk?

In the three examples below, the Flodesk bill itself runs from about $300 to $2,124 a year, depending on list size and whether you sell through it. The larger cost is usually the set of tools you still need beside it. The three businesses below are illustrative examples priced against Flodesk's slider as listed in October 2026.

Example coachPlan and tierMonthly billingAnnual billingStill needed beside Flodesk
New coach: 600 subscribers, weekly newsletter, welcome and free-guide sequences, 1:1 sessionsPro, up to 1,000$28 a month ($336 a year)$25 a month (about $300 a year)Booking and calendar sync, session payments beyond one checkout, coaching agreements, client notes
Growing group coach: 4,000 subscribers, sells a group program with payment plans twice a yearEverything, up to 5,000$107 a month ($1,284 a year)$99 a month (about $1,188 a year)Booking, program delivery and check-ins, group chat or community, course hosting, agreements
Established coach with two helpers: 12,000 subscribers, a course, a membership and regular launchesEverything, up to 15,000$177 a month ($2,124 a year)$162 a month (about $1,944 a year)All of the above, plus scheduling across several people and shared client records

Stripe processing comes on top for the second and third coach. If the group coach sells 20 places a year at an illustrative $500, Express processing adds $306 a year.

The last column is where the real bill sits. Flodesk has no scheduling, client records, course portal, community or check-ins, and each gap is usually another subscription: a scheduler (our Calendly pricing breakdown covers one common choice), a client-management tool (see HoneyBook pricing), a course and community host (see Kajabi pricing or Skool pricing), and an e-signature tool for agreements.

That is the comparison worth running. Coachful prices by the number of clients you coach, not the size of your email list, and one membership covers booking, payments, agreements, program delivery, courses, community, website, funnels and email (Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). For the new coach above with, say, five active clients, the matching Coachful plan is Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients.

What hidden costs and gotchas should coaches watch for?

The headline prices are clear, but eleven details change what you actually pay or what you can do on each plan.

  1. The Free plan never sends. It collects subscribers, but every email, including the delivery of a free guide, needs a paid plan.
  2. Old prices are everywhere. Many reviews and videos still quote the retired flat-rate plan. If you join after December 2, 2025, your price follows the subscriber slider.
  3. Tier upgrades are automatic. Cross a tier and the next invoice rises. Watch the 90% warning before a launch or a list import.
  4. Two features are labeled limited-time bonuses. Lite's one workflow and Pro's one checkout are bonuses, not core plan features.
  5. Checkout is limited by country. Only the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Euro Area countries are supported.
  6. Apple Pay and Google Pay are listed for Stripe Standard. Flodesk's Stripe help article names those wallets for Standard accounts, so check before you rely on them with Express.
  7. The Flodesk footer stays on Lite. Hiding it starts at Pro.
  8. Seats are capped. One, two or three people, depending on plan, with no extra seats listed.
  9. Data export is not documented. The pages we checked do not describe how to export subscribers, segments or sales records, so ask support before you build on the platform.
  10. Compliance is your job. In the US, the FTC's CAN-SPAM compliance guide says commercial emails must include a valid physical postal address and a clear way to opt out, with opt-outs honored within 10 business days. The guide says a registered post office box or private mailbox can serve as the address, which can be a small extra cost if you work from home. Rules differ in the UK, the EU and elsewhere, so check with an attorney if you email clients internationally.
  11. The rest of the stack. Booking, contracts, a client portal, courses and a community all sit outside Flodesk and are billed separately.

Is Flodesk worth it for coaches?

Flodesk is worth it for a coach whose main need is well-designed email and simple selling to a list. It is not built to run a coaching practice, because it has no booking, client records, course portal, community or check-ins.

New coaches building an audience

Starting on Free and moving to Pro when you begin sending is a low-cost path, at $25 to $28 a month for up to 1,000 subscribers. The catch is that a new coach also needs a booking page, a way to take payment for sessions and an agreement for each client. If those tools are coming anyway, a single coaching platform is usually less work to set up. Our page for coaches just starting out covers what to put in place first.

Coaches who sell digital products, workshops or courses

Everything makes sense when email is how you sell: launches, payment plans, abandoned-cart reminders and sales pages in one place. Remember that Flodesk sells the product but does not host a course portal, so you still need somewhere to deliver the lessons. See our guide to course platforms for coaches for that piece.

1:1 and program coaches

For coaches whose income comes from sessions and multi-week programs, Flodesk covers marketing only. The work after someone says yes (booking, contracts, homework, check-ins, notes) happens elsewhere. Our overview of coaching software explains what an all-in-one setup includes, and coaching contracts covers the agreement step.

Health, fitness and wellness coaches

These coaches usually need daily habits, check-ins and progress tracking between sessions, none of which Flodesk offers. Coaching is not treatment: a health or wellness coach supports behavior change, and clients with symptoms, a diagnosed condition or signs of disordered eating should be referred to a licensed clinician. See our pages for health coaches and fitness and nutrition coaching.

Coaches outside the checkout countries

If your business is based outside the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and the Euro Area, you cannot use Flodesk Checkout. Lite or Pro can still handle email, but Everything has little to offer you.

Small coaching teams

Three seats on Everything is the ceiling. A practice with several coaches also needs per-coach availability and shared client records, which Flodesk does not provide. Our page for coaching teams covers what a multi-coach setup needs.

Why do coaches compare Flodesk with Coachful?

Coaches compare the two because Flodesk handles one part of the practice, email and simple checkout, while Coachful covers the whole client journey from first opt-in to final session under one login. We make Coachful, so read this section with that in mind; everything below describes what the product does today.

What Coachful is and who it is for

Coachful is a coaching platform. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant, with one login for the coach and one branded app for the client. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing four to six separate tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia.

Email and funnels

Coachful includes email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits, so the welcome and nurture sequences you would run on Flodesk Pro have a direct equivalent. Booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels come with pixels and UTM tracking, and there is a link-in-bio page that sells. Here is a short walkthrough of the email tools:

Funnels sit beside the email tools rather than in a separate product. About 25 funnel templates are included, and each funnel can lead straight into a booking, an application or a checkout.

What happens after someone buys

This is the part Flodesk does not cover. Coachful's booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet and Teams links. Email reminders are included, with SMS and WhatsApp reminders once messaging is enabled. See scheduling software for the full list.

Between sessions, clients follow multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goal progress bars and streaks, all inside the coach's branded home and app. Cohort groups are created automatically when someone enrolls in a program, which suits group coaching.

Payments and agreements

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax. Since August 2026 Coachful charges a 0% platform fee, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record. Our page on coaching payment software has the details.

What Coachful does not do

Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. It has no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app runs under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. It is not a general website builder for non-coaching sites, has no third-party plugins, and has no Salesforce or HubSpot integration.

How to start

Start with a free trial, then ask the team to build your first pieces for you.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create > We'll build it for you · FREE, you describe what you want built: a website, a funnel, a sales page, a program, a course outline, an email sequence or newsletter, a link in bio, a lead quiz, an automation or something else. You can attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as logos, photos, brand guides and copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours, and nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, with gaps left for you to fill. A recent example: a business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. The service does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more about the free white-glove service.

How does Flodesk pricing compare with Coachful, Kit, Systeme.io and Kajabi?

Flodesk is one of the cheaper ways to send designed email to a small list, but like Kit it has no booking, courses or community. We rank on one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions, total stack cost and setup effort; prices are as listed in October 2026.

Kit (formerly ConvertKit)

Kit is the closest like-for-like alternative to Flodesk: an email and newsletter platform with landing pages and simple digital-product sales. Its free Newsletter plan covers up to 10,000 subscribers, while Flodesk's Free plan cannot send at all. Paid plans cost more at the bottom of the ladder, with Creator from $39 a month against Flodesk Pro's $28 at 1,000 subscribers. Automations and sequences need a paid plan, and Kit Commerce charges 3.5% + $0.30 per USD transaction with card processing included. Kit has no scheduling, client records, course portal, community or check-ins. On Trustpilot it shows 3.9 from 162 reviews, against Flodesk's 4.8 from 321 (both seen October 25, 2026).

Pick it over Coachful if you are a newsletter-first creator who wants a no-cost plan for up to 10,000 subscribers and does not need booking or client delivery.

Systeme.io

Systeme.io is a low-cost marketing suite with funnels, email, courses, a community, a blog and an affiliate program. The contrast with Flodesk is sharpest at mid-sized lists. At 5,000 contacts, Systeme.io's Startup plan is $17 a month and includes 10 funnels and 5 courses, while Flodesk Everything at 5,000 subscribers is $107 a month. Systeme.io charges 0% transaction fees on every plan, including Free. As of its September 2026 profile, it had no native 1:1 scheduling with client records, habits or check-ins, and its community and course features are basic. Trustpilot shows 4.9 from 8,696 reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

Pick it over Coachful if your business is mostly funnels and low-ticket courses, you want PayPal, and you are happy to run 1:1 sessions with separate tools.

Kajabi

Kajabi sells courses, communities, websites, funnels and email in one product. Basic costs $179 a month ($143 annually) for 5 products and 2,500 contacts, Growth $249 ($199 annually) and Pro $499 ($399 annually). Kajabi Payments costs 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% + $0.30 on Growth and 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro in the US, and other processors except PayPal add a Kajabi fee of 2%, 1% or 0.5%. Coaching on Kajabi is built from products and communities rather than per-client plans, with no habit tracking or daily check-ins. Trustpilot shows 3.4 from 2,347 reviews (seen October 25, 2026). How can you save money on Flodesk?

The biggest savings come from annual billing, a clean list and picking the plan that matches what you actually do.

  1. Pay annually once you are sure. Annual billing works out to about one month free, and on Lite at 1,000 subscribers it cuts the price from $25 to $19 a month.
  2. Clean your list before each billing date. Only active subscribers count, and unsubscribed, bounced and cleaned contacts do not. Removing people who never open can keep you a tier lower, and Flodesk says plans can move down when the list shrinks.
  3. Build on Free, then trial. Collect sign-ups on the Free plan, then start the 14-day trial (no card) when your first sequence is written, so the trial days go to sending rather than setup.
  4. Choose Pro over Lite when you need a second workflow. The gap is $6 to $7 a month at most tiers, and you get unlimited workflows and a second seat.
  5. Pay for Everything only if you sell through Flodesk. If you sell one offer, Pro's single checkout may cover it while that bonus lasts. If you take payments elsewhere, Everything adds nothing you will use.
  6. Watch the tier edge before a launch. A list sitting at 950 subscribers can cross into the 2,500 tier with a good lead magnet. Budget for the jump or clean the list first.
  7. Count the stack, not the plan. Add up Flodesk plus your scheduler, course host, e-signature tool and client portal, then compare that total with one coaching platform. Our checkout software guide shows how to run that comparison.

Frequently asked questions about Flodesk pricing

Does Flodesk have a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan includes unlimited forms, landing pages, link-in-bio pages, templates and segmentation with no subscriber limit. It cannot send email or run workflows, so you need Lite, Pro or Everything to email your list.

How long is the Flodesk free trial?

The trial lasts 14 days, gives access to paid features and needs no credit card. If you do not choose a paid plan when it ends, the account moves to the Free plan and keeps your subscriber data.

Does Flodesk still offer flat-rate unlimited pricing?

Not for new members. Flodesk retired its flat-rate plan for new sign-ups on December 2, 2025. Members who subscribed before that date keep it for as long as they stay subscribed.

What happens if I go over my subscriber tier?

Your emails keep sending. Flodesk moves the account to the next tier at your next billing date and warns you at 90%, 95% and 100% of the limit. If your list later shrinks, the plan can move back down.

Does Flodesk take a cut of my sales?

Flodesk states no transaction fee of its own on checkouts. Stripe processing applies: 3% + $0.30 per transaction on Stripe Express in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, with UK and European equivalents, or your own regional rate on Stripe Standard.

Which Flodesk plan do coaches need for automated sequences?

Pro, in most cases. Lite currently includes one workflow as a limited-time bonus, while Pro includes unlimited workflows for $3 to $7 a month more on monthly billing.

Can I sell coaching packages with Flodesk?

You can sell them through Flodesk Checkout on Pro (one checkout) or Everything (unlimited), if your business is in a supported country. Flodesk does not book the sessions, send agreements or deliver the program, so you need other tools for everything after the payment.

Is Flodesk cheaper than Kit?

At 1,000 subscribers on paid plans, yes: Flodesk Pro starts at $28 a month and Kit Creator at $39, as listed in October 2026. Kit's free Newsletter plan covers up to 10,000 subscribers, while Flodesk's free plan cannot send at all.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a build service included on every Coachful plan. You describe what you need, such as a website, funnel, program or email sequence, attach links and files, and the team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing.

Can Coachful replace Flodesk for a coach?

For most coaches, yes: Coachful includes email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences, funnels, a website and checkout, plus booking, programs, check-ins, courses and community. If you need PayPal or a HIPAA-certified system, Coachful is not the right fit.
