TidyCal Pricing in 2026: Plans, Fees and What Coaches Pay

TidyCal pricing, as listed in October 2026, has four options: a Free plan at $0, an Individual Lifetime plan at $29 one time, an Agency Lifetime plan at $79 one time, and Pro at $12 a month or $99 a year ($8.25 a month billed annually). The lifetime plans are sold through AppSumo with no renewal; Pro is sold on TidyCal's own site. Every plan except Pro adds a 1% TidyCal platform fee on payments processed through Stripe, on top of Stripe's own processing fees.
That makes TidyCal one of the cheapest booking tools a coach can buy. The catch is that it is only a booking tool. This guide lays out every plan and fee, works out when the 1% fee costs more than Pro, prices three real-world coaching practices including the other tools you would still need, and compares TidyCal with Calendly, Acuity Scheduling, Setmore and Coachful. We make Coachful, so we have kept the TidyCal facts to what TidyCal documents on its pricing page and what public reviewers report.

How much does TidyCal cost in 2026?
TidyCal costs between $0 and $99 a year for one person, depending on whether you want the free tier, a one-time lifetime deal or the Pro subscription. Here is every plan as listed in October 2026.
| Plan | Monthly price | Annual or one-time price | Calendar connections | SMS reminders (US and Canada) | TidyCal platform fee on Stripe payments |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0, forever | 1 readable, 1 writable | None | 1% |
| Individual Lifetime | None (no subscription) | $29 one time via AppSumo (shown struck through from $144) | 10 | None | 1% |
| Agency Lifetime | None (no subscription) | $79 one time via AppSumo (shown struck through from $240) | 10 | 10 a month | 1% |
| Pro | $12 a month | $99 a year ($8.25 a month, about 31% off monthly) | Unlimited | Unlimited | None |
All prices are in US dollars. TidyCal's page does not list a per-seat charge for any plan, which matters if you coach with a partner or a small team (more on that below). The struck-through $144 and $240 figures are the reference prices TidyCal shows beside the lifetime deals; what you pay is the $29 or $79.
If you are comparing scheduling tools more broadly, our Calendly pricing breakdown covers the per-seat model TidyCal is positioned against, and our guide to scheduling software for coaches explains what a coaching booking flow needs beyond a calendar link.
What does each TidyCal plan add?
Each tier stacks on the one before it: Individual Lifetime includes everything in Free, Agency Lifetime includes everything in Individual, and Pro includes everything in Agency. The jumps are about meeting links and automation, then team features, then branding and fees.
Free: more than most free tiers
The Free plan is unusually generous for a booking tool. As listed, it includes unlimited bookings and unlimited booking types, paid bookings through Stripe and PayPal, recurring bookings, package bookings (a client books several sessions at once), subscriptions with recurring billing through Stripe, discount codes, a digital storefront for selling PDFs, courses and templates as files with Stripe checkout, ratings and reviews after a booking, guest invites, your own booking page, one-click translation and a listing in TidyCal's public directory.
The limits are real, though. You connect one calendar (Google, Office 365 or Apple). There is no automatic Zoom, Google Meet or Teams link, so you paste a meeting link yourself. You cannot customise reminder or confirmation emails, set booking limits or approve bookings manually. TidyCal branding shows at its normal size, and every Stripe payment carries the 1% platform fee.
Individual Lifetime ($29 once): the solo coach tier
Individual Lifetime adds the features a solo coach running calls usually wants. TidyCal lists automatic Zoom, Google Meet and Teams links; group bookings for classes or group sessions; the AI booking assistant and other AI features; custom emails and CC addresses; Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager; daily, weekly or monthly booking caps; CSV export of booker data; a confirmation redirect to your own page; API access; different calendars per booking type; multiple locations per booking type; manual booking approvals; reschedule restrictions; and cancellation and no-show controls, including charging a fee for late cancellations and no-shows. Zapier, Zoom and Teams move into the "advanced" integrations bucket. Calendar connections rise to 10, and branding shrinks to a small TidyCal logo.
Agency Lifetime ($79 once): team scheduling
Agency Lifetime adds round robin meetings (bookings spread across team members), collective meetings (several hosts on one call), a dedicated team booking page, and 10 SMS reminders a month to US and Canadian phone numbers. TidyCal also says you can run more than one business from one login: your personal page for one brand and a team for each additional brand, each with its own name, logo, URL and booking types.
Pro ($12 a month or $99 a year): no fee, no logo
Pro includes every Agency Lifetime feature and adds a custom domain for your booking page (for example, schedule.yourbusiness.com), no TidyCal branding at all, priority support, unlimited SMS reminders, unlimited calendar connections and, most importantly for coaches who take payments, no platform fee. Pro supports one custom domain for your personal page and one for each team.

What fees does TidyCal charge on top of the plan?
The only TidyCal fee beyond the plan price is the 1% platform fee on Stripe payments on the Free, Individual Lifetime and Agency Lifetime plans. Pro has no platform fee. Everything else you pay goes to your payment processor or to other tools.
| Fee type | What TidyCal lists (October 2026) | What it means for a coach |
|---|---|---|
| Platform (transaction) fee | 1% on Stripe payments on Free, Individual Lifetime and Agency Lifetime; none on Pro | A $300 paid session on a non-Pro plan sends $3 to TidyCal before Stripe takes its cut |
| Payment processing | Stripe's own processing fees apply on every plan; PayPal is accepted for paid bookings | Charged by Stripe or PayPal at their published rates for your country, not by TidyCal |
| PayPal platform fee | The pricing page describes the 1% fee for Stripe payments only and does not describe a TidyCal fee on PayPal payments | PayPal's own fees still apply; read TidyCal's terms before routing payments around the fee |
| Add-ons | None listed | No paid add-on store; features come with the plan |
| Overages | None for bookings; SMS is capped at 10 a month on Agency Lifetime, unlimited on Pro | Lifetime owners who need more SMS reminders have to move to Pro |
| Seats | No per-seat charge listed | Unusual among booking tools; Calendly, for example, prices per seat |
The 1% fee sounds small, and for a coach doing a handful of paid calls it is. It grows with revenue, though, which is where the plan choice starts to matter.
When does Pro become cheaper than the 1% fee?
Pro pays for itself once you process about $9,900 a year through Stripe, or roughly $825 a month. At that point 1% of your payments equals the $99 Pro price. The maths for the first year is slightly different if you are deciding between Pro and a lifetime deal you have not bought yet:
- Free vs Pro: Pro is cheaper above $9,900 a year in Stripe payments.
- Individual Lifetime vs Pro, first year: $29 plus 1% equals $99 at $7,000 in Stripe payments. Above that, Pro is cheaper in year one.
- Agency Lifetime vs Pro, first year: $79 plus 1% equals $99 at only $2,000 in Stripe payments.
- Any lifetime plan you already own vs Pro, later years: the lifetime plan costs nothing more, so Pro wins once the 1% fee passes $99, again at $9,900 a year.
Put simply: if you coach for a living and take payments through Stripe, Pro at $99 a year is almost always the cheapest TidyCal option, and the lifetime deals make most sense for coaches who take few or no payments through TidyCal.
What does a coach actually pay for TidyCal?
A coach pays between $99 and about $1,500 a year for TidyCal itself, depending on plan choice and revenue, and then pays separately for everything TidyCal does not do. The three practices below are examples, with illustrative revenue figures, not data from real coaches. Revenue is assumed to run through Stripe. If you are still setting your rates, our guides to pricing coaching packages and hourly vs package pricing show how to work the numbers out.
- Example A, new solo coach: 5 clients, $1,000 a month through Stripe ($12,000 a year).
- Example B, established solo coach: 15 clients, $4,500 a month ($54,000 a year), a website, an email list and a signature program.
- Example C, small team: 3 coaches, 40 clients, $12,000 a month ($144,000 a year), round robin discovery calls, group sessions and a course.
| Setup | Example A: 5 clients | Example B: 15 clients | Example C: 3 coaches, 40 clients | Tools still needed beside it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients, with team plans adding coach seats | None for the core journey: booking, payments, agreements, programs, courses, community, website, email and AI assistant are included in your Coachful membership; 0% platform fee, Stripe or Razorpay processing only |
| TidyCal Free | $120 a year in 1% fees | $540 a year in 1% fees | Not workable: no round robin or team page | Client records and notes, contracts, invoicing, program delivery, course hosting, community, website, email marketing |
| TidyCal Individual or Agency Lifetime | $29 once plus $120 a year in fees ($149 in year one) | $29 once plus $540 a year in fees ($569 in year one) | Agency: $79 once plus $1,440 a year in fees ($1,519 in year one) | Same list as above |
| TidyCal Pro | $99 a year | $99 a year | $99 a year (no per-seat charge listed) | Same list as above |
Stripe's processing fees sit on top of every row, including Coachful's, so they are left out for a like-for-like comparison.
The TidyCal line looks cheap in every column. The honest total is the TidyCal line plus the tools in the right-hand column. Example B, for instance, still needs somewhere to keep client notes and goals, a way to send a coaching agreement, a website, an email tool and a place to deliver the signature program. Those are usually separate subscriptions; our breakdowns of Kit pricing, Kajabi pricing and Stan Store pricing show what a few of them cost. Example C adds group delivery and a course on top, and a team usually needs shared client records, which TidyCal does not provide at any price.

What are the hidden costs and gotchas?
TidyCal's pricing is simpler than most, but there are six things to know before you buy.
- The 1% fee scales with you. It is easy to ignore at $500 a month and harder at $10,000 a month, when it reaches $1,200 a year. Lifetime plans do not remove it.
- Lifetime plans are bought through AppSumo. TidyCal says a lifetime plan is a single payment with no renewal, purchased on AppSumo and activated on your TidyCal account. Refund terms are not set out on the pricing page; TidyCal links to its terms instead, so read those (and AppSumo's) before buying.
- No free trial of Pro is stated. The Free plan acts as the trial. You can test booking pages and paid bookings there, but not custom domains, unbranded pages or unlimited SMS.
- Branding stays unless you subscribe. Free shows TidyCal branding at normal size and the lifetime plans show a small logo. Only Pro removes it and adds a custom domain.
- SMS reminders are US and Canada only. Coaches with clients elsewhere rely on email reminders on every plan.
- Booking is all you get. TidyCal does not document client records, session notes, intake forms beyond booking questions, contracts, invoices outside the booking checkout, programs, habits, check-ins, a client portal, a community, a website builder or email marketing. Its digital storefront sells files; it does not document modules, drip release or completion tracking.
On reputation, TidyCal had a Trustpilot score of 3.1 from 182 reviews when we checked in October 2026, lower than Calendly (4.1 from 714), Acuity Scheduling (3.6 from 687) and Setmore (4.9 from 3,274) on the same day. A Trustpilot score reflects the people who chose to leave reviews, so treat it as one signal, not a verdict.
Is TidyCal worth it for coaches?
TidyCal is worth it for coaches who mainly sell calls and want the cheapest reliable booking page; it is a poor fit for coaches who deliver programs, because it stops at the booking. Here is how that plays out by coach type.
Discovery-call and consultation coaches
If your paid work happens elsewhere and you only need people to book a free call, the Free plan or the $29 Individual Lifetime deal is hard to beat. You get automatic meeting links, custom emails and booking limits for a one-time payment.
Session-based coaches paid per call or package
TidyCal handles paid sessions, packages and subscriptions on every plan, which covers a simple per-session business. Once Stripe payments pass roughly $825 a month, Pro is the cheaper plan. You will still keep client notes, goals and agreements somewhere else.
Program and transformation coaches
Coaches selling a 12-week program need the weeks between calls: tasks, habits, check-ins, lessons and messages. TidyCal does none of that, so it becomes one of four to six tools. This is the group where an all-in-one coaching platform usually costs less in total and saves the most admin; see our overview of coaching software.
Group and cohort coaches
Group bookings start on Individual Lifetime, so you can sell seats in a group call. TidyCal does not provide a cohort space, group chat or community feed, which group coaches usually want; our guide to group coaching software covers what to look for.
Fitness and health coaches
Booking is a small part of fitness and nutrition coaching, where most of the work is workouts, food logs and weekly check-ins. TidyCal covers the consultation booking only. Health coaches should also remember that coaching is not medical treatment: keep your scope to behaviour change and refer clients to a licensed clinician for diagnosis, medication or clinical nutrition.
Small coaching teams
Agency Lifetime and Pro both include round robin and a team booking page, and TidyCal lists no per-seat charge, which is cheaper than per-seat tools for a team. Shared client records, permissions and a shared delivery space are not part of TidyCal, so teams usually pair it with a CRM or move to a platform built for coaching teams.
How does TidyCal pricing compare with alternatives?
TidyCal is the cheapest of the booking tools here, and Coachful is the only option that replaces the other tools a coaching business needs. Ranked by what a coach pays for the whole client journey: one login for booking through delivery, between-session delivery, total stack cost and setup effort, with the free white-glove build counted.
| Tool | Entry price (as listed October 2026) | Higher tiers | Platform fee on payments | Free plan or trial | What it covers | Trustpilot (October 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; team plans add coach seats | 0%; Stripe or Razorpay processing only | A free trial; no permanent free plan | Booking, payments, agreements, programs, habits, check-ins, courses, community, website, funnels, email, AI assistant | 4.5 from 21 reviews |
| TidyCal | Free at $0 | $29 or $79 one time (AppSumo); Pro $12 a month or $99 a year | 1% on Stripe payments, except Pro | Free plan; no trial stated | Booking, paid bookings, packages, digital storefront | 3.1 from 182 reviews |
| Calendly | Free at $0 (1 event type, 1 calendar) | Standard $10, Teams $16, Teams Plus $24 per seat a month billed annually; Enterprise from $15k a year | No Calendly fee documented | Free plan; trial not stated on the pricing page today | Scheduling, reminders and workflows, paid bookings | 4.1 from 714 reviews |
| Acuity Scheduling | Starter $20 a month ($16 annual) | Standard $34 ($27 annual), Premium $69 ($55 annual), Enterprise custom | No Acuity fee mentioned | 7-day free trial, no card | Scheduling, intake forms, packages, memberships | 3.6 from 687 reviews |
| Setmore | Free at $0 (up to 4 users) | Pro $12 a month ($5 annual) per user; Enterprise custom | Setmore fee not shown | Free plan; Pro "risk-free for 30 days" with refund on request | Scheduling, reminders, payments | 4.9 from 3,274 reviews |
A few things stand out. TidyCal and Setmore have the cheapest entry points, and TidyCal is the only one selling a one-time lifetime plan. Calendly and Setmore price per seat, so a team pays for each coach; TidyCal lists no seat charge. Acuity has the clearest free trial (7 days, no card) and includes intake forms, packages and memberships. And TidyCal is the only one of the five that lists its own percentage fee on payments, on every plan below Pro. None of the four booking tools covers what happens between sessions.

Pick TidyCal over Coachful if...
Pick TidyCal over Coachful if all you need is a booking page with paid sessions, you want to pay once and be done, your clients pay by PayPal (Coachful does not support PayPal), or you sell few enough sessions that a separate client platform is not worth it yet.
What does Coachful include instead?

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login and the client has one branded app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions; for solo coaches growing into a small team; and for coaches replacing four to six tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia.
Where TidyCal stops at the booking, Coachful's booking pages carry on into the client relationship. Booking pages include availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync, built-in video or automatically created Zoom, Meet and Teams links, email reminders, plus SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) once messaging is enabled. Paid sessions, session credits and intake questions on booking are built in, and multi-coach session types can assign by round robin or least busy. This short walkthrough shows the scheduling side:

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax, with an invoice per transaction and manual invoices when you need them. Since August 2026 Coachful charges a 0% platform fee, so the only cut is Stripe's or Razorpay's processing. That is the fee TidyCal's lower plans add 1% to. Our page on coaching payment software goes through the payment side in more detail.

Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record (see coaching contracts). The client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments, sessions and an AI briefing per client, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk.

Between sessions, multi-week programs carry weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Courses (modules, lessons, drip release, completion tracking), downloads, videos and events are delivered into the client's branded home and app. A community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events sit alongside, with cohort groups created automatically when someone enrolls in a program.

Coachful also includes a section-based website builder with a blog, custom domain and 30 designed homepage templates; booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels; email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences; Michelle, the built-in AI assistant that works from your live practice data; and ICF credential tracking that counts hours and clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds. Questions and planning with Michelle are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create and choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. That can be a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline and written material, coaching flow, form, email sequence, link in bio, lead quiz, event or automation. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. One recent build: a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. The service does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more about the free white-glove service.

What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, no routing forms that pick a host from form answers, and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration.
How to start. Start a free trial, then request the free white-glove build for your website, first program or funnel. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. Monthly plans cancel in one click (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).
How can you save money on TidyCal?
The biggest saving is choosing the right plan for your payment volume; after that, billing annually and not buying tools you will not use. Six practical steps:
- Run the break-even before buying a lifetime deal. If you will process more than about $9,900 a year through Stripe, Pro at $99 a year costs less than any lifetime plan plus the 1% fee.
- Pay for Pro annually. $99 a year instead of $144 on monthly billing is about 31% off.
- Start on Free. With no stated Pro trial, the Free plan is the way to test booking pages, paid bookings and packages before paying anything.
- Use the Calendly importer. TidyCal includes a built-in importer on every plan that brings Calendly event types over as TidyCal booking types, which saves setup time if you are switching.
- Do not buy Agency for one person. Agency Lifetime's extras are round robin, collective meetings, a team page and 10 SMS reminders. A solo coach outside the US and Canada gets little from them.
- Count the whole stack, not just the booking tool. A $99 booking tool next to a website builder, an email platform, a course host and a client portal can cost more than one platform. Our coaching pricing audit walks through tallying it, and our comparison hub lines tools up side by side.
If you cancel Pro, TidyCal says future charges stop and your account returns to the Free plan or to any lifetime plan you own, so trying Pro for a month is low risk.
Frequently asked questions about TidyCal pricing
How much does TidyCal cost in 2026?
As listed in October 2026, TidyCal has a Free plan at $0, Individual Lifetime at $29 one time, Agency Lifetime at $79 one time, and Pro at $12 a month or $99 a year. Lifetime plans are sold on AppSumo and Pro on tidycal.com. All prices are in US dollars.
Is TidyCal really free?
Yes. The Free plan is $0 forever and includes unlimited bookings, unlimited booking types, paid bookings, recurring and package bookings and your own booking page. It connects one calendar, keeps TidyCal branding and charges a 1% platform fee on Stripe payments.
Does TidyCal charge a transaction fee?
On the Free, Individual Lifetime and Agency Lifetime plans, TidyCal charges 1% on payments processed through Stripe, on top of Stripe's own processing fees. Pro has no platform fee. The pricing page does not describe a TidyCal fee on PayPal payments, but PayPal's own fees apply.
Is the TidyCal lifetime deal worth it?
It is worth it if you take few payments through TidyCal, for example if you mostly book free discovery calls. If you process more than about $7,000 a year through Stripe, Pro is cheaper than Individual Lifetime even in the first year, because the 1% fee keeps running on lifetime plans.
Is TidyCal Pro worth $99 a year?
For a coach taking regular payments through Stripe, usually yes. Pro removes the 1% fee, the TidyCal logo and the calendar limit, and adds a custom domain, priority support and unlimited SMS reminders. It pays for itself at about $9,900 a year in Stripe payments.
Does TidyCal have a free trial?
No trial is stated on the pricing page. The Free plan serves as the way to try TidyCal, and Pro can be cancelled from your billing settings, after which your account returns to Free or to any lifetime plan you own.
Can a coaching team use TidyCal?
Yes. Agency Lifetime and Pro include round robin meetings, collective meetings and a dedicated team booking page, and TidyCal lists no per-seat charge. It does not provide shared client records, notes or delivery tools, so teams still need those elsewhere.
Is TidyCal enough to run a coaching business?
Only if your business is calls and nothing else. TidyCal does not document client records, contracts, programs, check-ins, courses, a community, a website builder or email marketing. Most coaches pair it with several other tools or use an all-in-one platform like Coachful instead.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
On every plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build a website, funnel, program, course outline, email sequence or similar inside your own account by describing it and attaching up to 8 links and 10 files. Builds usually arrive within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing.
Can I move from TidyCal to Coachful?
Yes. TidyCal offers CSV export of booker data on the lifetime and Pro plans, and Coachful imports your clients, programs and content for you during onboarding. Coachful's booking pages, payments and calendar sync then replace the TidyCal booking page.
