7 Best GoHighLevel Alternatives for Fitness Coaches in 2026

7 Best GoHighLevel Alternatives for Fitness Coaches in 2026

The best gohighlevel alternatives for fitness coaches are the tools that keep the marketing you rely on (funnels, email, booking, payments) and add what GoHighLevel never had: a workout builder, nutrition targets, habits, weekly check-ins and a client app your athletes actually open between sessions. If you are a personal trainer or online fitness coach paying for HighLevel and then bolting on a training app, the deciding question is simple: can one login run both the sale and the twelve weeks of coaching after it?

Our pick is Coachful, because it puts funnels, booking, payments, contracts, workouts, nutrition, check-ins, courses and community in one coach account and one branded client app. We make Coachful, so we have stated the ranking criteria openly and kept every competitor fact to what vendors list or public reviewers report. Below you will find six other options, what each costs at 5, 15 and 40 clients as listed in October 2026, and an honest note on where GoHighLevel still wins.

What do fitness coaches actually need from a GoHighLevel replacement?

Fitness coaches need software that handles delivery as well as acquisition: programming, logging, nutrition and accountability every day of the week, not just the lead form and the sales call. GoHighLevel is built for the second half of that sentence, and it is very good at it.

Be fair to it first. As listed in October 2026, HighLevel's Starter plan covers a CRM, funnels, websites, calendars, email and SMS, invoicing, contracts, courses and communities, with 24/7 support and unlimited users and contacts. Its workflows, pipelines and two-way SMS are why so many gym owners and trainers adopted it in the first place, and it holds a 4.9 Trustpilot score from 15,250 reviews (seen October 25, 2026). If your business is mostly paid ads, missed-call text-back and booking consults, few tools match it. Our GoHighLevel review covers that side in detail.

Where fitness coaches struggle is everything after the "yes":

  • No training engine. HighLevel has no workout builder, exercise library, set logging or personal records. Coaches end up paying for a separate training app and managing two client lists.
  • No habits or check-ins. HighLevel has no habit tracking, client check-ins or structured coaching program engine; you would have to simulate them with workflows and forms.
  • Setup complexity. Sub-accounts, snapshots, workflows and triggers were designed for agencies. A solo trainer can spend weeks wiring up what amounts to a booking page and a welcome email.
  • Price creep. SMS, email, phone and AI usage are metered on top of the plan. A Branded Client Portal App is a $49/month add-on per sub-account, AI Employee starts at $50/month per sub-account, and HIPAA compliance is a $297/month add-on outside Enterprise.
  • No video rooms. Calls run on Zoom or Google Meet links rather than built-in video.

A fitness client journey looks like this: a lead magnet or Instagram link, a consult or application, a contract and payment, an intake with injury history and goals, a program with progressive sessions, daily habits (steps, protein, sleep), a weekly check-in with photos and measurements, form-check videos, and a renewal conversation. A good alternative covers most of that without a second subscription.

One scope point matters for every tool on this list. Fitness and nutrition coaching is not medical care. Screen new clients with a readiness questionnaire (the PAR-Q family of forms is the common reference, and you should paraphrase rather than copy it), follow the public Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans as a baseline, and refer out to a doctor for chest pain, fainting, unexplained shortness of breath, recent surgery, pregnancy complications or signs of disordered eating. Medical nutrition therapy belongs with a registered dietitian.

How did we choose these tools?

We started from what a fitness coach leaving HighLevel loses and gains. Every tool here had to cover at least one of the two jobs HighLevel splits apart: marketing and sales, or training delivery. We then scored each on the four criteria above using the vendor's own pricing page and feature lists as checked on October 25, 2026, plus public Trustpilot scores seen that day.

We did not test these tools hands-on for this article. Where a vendor's page does not state something (a card requirement, a price tier), we say so instead of guessing. We left out agency white-label suites, because a fitness coach replacing HighLevel usually wants less agency machinery, not a different version of it. For the broader version of this list across all coaching types, see our main GoHighLevel alternatives guide.

1. Coachful: one login for the sale and the training block

A laptop showing a monthly session calendar and a phone showing a habit tracker on a desk in a strength studio
Coachful's session calendar on a laptop and the client habit tracker on a phone, beside a lifting belt and chalk.

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login; the client gets one app with the coach's branding inside the Coachful app. For fitness coaches, the deciding piece is the Fitness & Nutrition pack, included in your Coachful membership.

The training side GoHighLevel never had

The workout builder uses an exercise library of illustrated exercises and supports supersets, circuits, AMRAP, EMOM, intervals and tempo prescriptions. Clients log their workouts in the app, and the coach sees set history and personal records. You attach your own demo videos to exercises (there are no stock exercise videos), which keeps your coaching cues in your voice.

Nutrition goes up to calorie and macro targets, meal plans, recipes, food lookup and barcode scanning. Clients upload private progress photos and measurements, complete weekly check-ins, and can send a private form-check video that you annotate with timestamped comments. Challenges are included for group programs.

Around that sit the coaching mechanics: multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Each client record shows goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, and flags each client as thriving, active, quiet or at risk. That status is the between-session view HighLevel's pipeline cannot give you: it tells you who skipped three logged sessions before they ask to cancel.

The marketing you would keep from HighLevel

Booking pages support availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet and Teams links. Reminders go by email, plus SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp 1 hour before once messaging is enabled. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and a 0% Coachful platform fee since August 2026. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call.

The website builder includes 30 designed homepage templates, a blog, custom domain and SEO settings, and an Import website option. Booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels carry Meta Pixel, GA4 and UTM tracking. Email covers lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits. Leads land on a Prospects page with stages.

Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data: it drafts programs, emails and content, summarizes recorded sessions and briefs you before a call. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. You can also set up an AI Coach that selected clients chat with between sessions.

What Coachful does not do

Coachful has no multi-stage sales deal board for large teams and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration, so a sales team running high-volume closers will miss HighLevel's pipelines. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available. It is not HIPAA-certified, does not support PayPal, has no permanent free plan, and the client app ships under the Coachful listing rather than your own App Store account. Team plans (Studio and Agency) add coach seats with per-coach availability and staff permissions; Zapier covers most other connections.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want (a website, a lead-magnet funnel, a 12-week program outline, an email sequence, a check-in form), and attach up to 8 reference links and 10 files such as your logo, photos and existing copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake testimonials, credentials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not cover filming your exercise demos, logo design or ad management. Your clients, programs and content are also imported for you during onboarding. Read more in how the white-glove service works.

Price: flat monthly plans, with lower plans capping client numbers and Pro covering unlimited clients (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). A free trial is available.

2. ABC Trainerize: the training app many HighLevel users already pair with it

ABC Trainerize homepage presenting its personal training and client coaching app
ABC Trainerize's homepage in October 2026.

A common split for HighLevel users is HighLevel to sell and a training app such as ABC Trainerize to deliver. Dropping HighLevel and keeping Trainerize is a legitimate path if your marketing is light.

Trainerize is a fitness and personal-training app covering workouts, habits, nutrition tracking and messaging, priced by client seats. As listed in October 2026, Basic is free for 1 client, Grow is $10/month for 2 clients, and Pro starts at $25/month ($23/month annual) for 5 clients, with further Pro tiers at 15, 30, 50, 75, 100 and 200 clients. Studio Plus starts at $275/month for 500 or more clients across 5+ locations. A 30-day trial runs with unlimited clients and no credit card, then reverts to the free 1-client plan. Its Trustpilot score was 3.1 from 100 reviews when we looked.

For a fitness coach, the strength is depth on the training side and a familiar client experience. The limits show up when you count add-ons: scheduling, selling products, payments, video and advanced nutrition are separate paid add-ons below Studio, and in-app payments need the Stripe Integrated Payments add-on. There is no course builder, website, funnel builder or email marketing, so leaving HighLevel means you still need somewhere to capture leads and send a nurture sequence. Client data export is incomplete, without messages, photos or attachments, according to an older profile of the product.

The 15-client and 40-client prices sit on Pro tiers that we did not have exact October figures for, so check the current page before you compare. Add-on costs are where totals drift.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a training-only app, you already have a website and email tool you like, and you do not need contracts, courses or funnels from the same login.

3. Kajabi: when your fitness business is mostly digital products

Kajabi homepage presenting its platform for selling courses, communities and memberships
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

Coaches who sell a library of workout programs, a 6-week shred course or a paid membership often compare HighLevel against Kajabi. Kajabi is a course, community, website, funnel and email platform for selling knowledge products, and it is polished at that job.

As listed in October 2026, Basic is $179/month ($143/month annual) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 1 website and 0 AI credits. Growth is $249/month ($199/month annual) with 50 products and 25,000 contacts, and Pro is $499/month ($399/month annual). The standard trial is 14 days; a card is optional, and some features such as bulk contact import stay locked until a paid plan is active. Kajabi Payments in the US charges 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic; using another processor (other than PayPal) adds a Kajabi fee of 0.5% to 2% on top. Trustpilot showed 3.4 from 2,347 reviews.

For fitness coaches, the gap is the same one HighLevel has: no habit tracking or daily client check-ins, and coaching happens through products and communities rather than per-client plans. You can sell a 12-week program beautifully, but you cannot see that one client hit every squat session and another has gone quiet. Pairing it with a training app brings back the two-login problem. The 2,500-contact cap on Basic also bites quickly if you run lead magnets on Instagram.

Our Kajabi alternatives for fitness coaches and Kajabi vs GoHighLevel comparisons go deeper on both.

Pick it over Coachful if your revenue is mostly self-paced courses and memberships sold to hundreds of buyers, and personalised 1:1 programming is a small part of what you do.

4. Everfit: the low-cost training app that scales by client count

Everfit homepage presenting its fitness coaching app for trainers and coaches
Everfit's homepage in October 2026.

Everfit's appeal is price at small numbers. Its Starter plan is free for up to 5 clients, and Pro starts at $19/month ($16/month annual) for 5 clients, then scales: 10 clients at $29, 20 at $49, 50 at $95, 100 at $140 and 300 at $290 per month (annual prices are lower), as listed in October 2026. Studio starts at $105/month for 50 clients. There is a 30-day trial with no credit card.

The product is a fitness coaching app: workouts, habits, nutrition and messaging, priced by client count. That is a real step up from HighLevel for daily delivery, and coaches moving from a spreadsheet plus HighLevel will find the training side familiar. The catch is in the add-ons: automation (Autoflow), payments and meal plans are paid extras. There is no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing. Everfit's Trustpilot score was 2.7 from 16 reviews, a small sample.

So a coach leaving HighLevel for Everfit swaps one gap for another: great training delivery, nothing to capture or nurture leads. If you rely on HighLevel funnels and SMS follow-ups today, plan where those will live before you cancel. Our guide to payment platforms for online fitness coaches covers the checkout half of that gap.

Pick it over Coachful if you coach fewer than five clients and want to pay nothing for the training app while you build, or you only need workouts and habits and are happy to run marketing elsewhere.

Which one looks like you?

5. HubFit: programming depth for a growing roster

HubFit homepage presenting its online training app for fitness coaches
HubFit's homepage in October 2026.

HubFit is the option for coaches whose roster is already in the dozens. Its Standard plan covers up to 50 clients at $39/month ($33/month annual) as listed in October 2026, Premium covers up to 100 clients at $69/month, and Ultimate starts at $119/month for 100 clients, scaling to $419/month for 500. There is a 14-day trial on every plan, and HubFit is free for clients. Trustpilot showed 5.0 from 390 reviews.

It covers programs, nutrition, habits and check-ins, which is the between-session half of the job. The tiers hide some important lines, though. Branding and payments start at Premium, so the $39 plan cannot take money from clients. Team members and Zapier are on Ultimate. A branded app is a $189/month add-on. According to an older profile, there is no scheduling or booking, no video calls, no contracts and no website.

For a coach leaving HighLevel, that means HubFit replaces the training app you might have added, not HighLevel itself. You still need booking, a sales page, a contract and an email sequence. The per-client economics are good at 40 clients; the full stack is less so once you add a funnel builder and a scheduler.

Pick it over Coachful if you already have a separate site, booking tool and email platform you are happy with, coach mostly asynchronously, and want low per-client cost for programming at 40 to 100 clients.

6. Systeme.io: keep cheap funnels, drop the agency features

Systeme.io homepage presenting its all-in-one funnel, email and course builder
Systeme.io's homepage in October 2026.

Some fitness coaches chose HighLevel for funnels and email alone. If that is you, Systeme.io covers the same ground for far less. As listed in October 2026, its Free plan includes 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course and 500 students; Startup is $17/month with 5,000 contacts and 10 funnels; Webinar is $47/month; Unlimited is $97/month. It charges 0% transaction fees on every plan, including the free one, and no card is needed to start. Trustpilot showed 4.9 from 8,696 reviews.

For fitness marketing it handles the basics well: a lead-magnet funnel for a free 7-day mobility plan, an email sequence that follows up, a simple course, a blog and an affiliate program for client referrals. What it does not have, according to an older profile, is native 1:1 scheduling with client records, habits or check-ins. Its community and course features are basic and there is no branded mobile app.

That makes Systeme.io a marketing replacement only. Pair it with a training app and you are back to two logins, two client lists and a manual hand-off after purchase, which is the exact problem many trainers wanted to solve when they left HighLevel. Compare funnel-first tools in our ClickFunnels alternatives guide.

Pick it over Coachful if your main cost problem is funnels and email, you are happy delivering programs in a separate training app, and a free or very low-cost marketing tool matters more than one login.

7. Kartra: the closest feel to HighLevel's marketing suite

Kartra homepage presenting its marketing suite with pages, funnels and email
Kartra's homepage in October 2026.

Kartra is an all-in-one marketing suite with pages, funnels, email and SMS, memberships, calendars and a helpdesk. Of the tools here, it is the one that will feel most like HighLevel to a coach who lives in campaigns and sequences.

As listed in October 2026, Essentials is $59/month ($52/month annual) with 500 contacts, 5 pages, 1 product and a 5% transaction fee. Starter is $119/month ($99/month annual) with 2,500 contacts, unlimited pages, products and memberships, unlimited email and SMS and 5 team members, with 0% transaction fee. Growth is $229/month and Professional $549/month. A 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee apply. Trustpilot showed 3.2 from 129 reviews.

For a fitness coach the limits are familiar by now: no client habits, check-ins or per-client coaching plans, and, per an older profile, no mobile app for students or admins. Funnels and memberships are not portable to other platforms. The Essentials plan is too tight for most coaches running Instagram lead magnets, since 500 contacts fill fast and 5% of every program sale goes to Kartra.

Pick it over Coachful if SMS campaigns and a helpdesk are central to your business, you want HighLevel-style marketing without sub-accounts, and you will deliver training in a separate app.

Which features does each GoHighLevel alternative include?

What does each option cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Prices are monthly list prices from each vendor's pricing page in October 2026, on the cheapest plan that does the core job at that roster size. They exclude payment processing, metered usage and add-ons unless noted.

The single-tool numbers flatter every option except the all-in-ones. As an illustrative example, a coach at 15 clients running HighLevel Starter for marketing plus a training app at the 20-client Everfit tier pays $97 + $49 = $146 a month before SMS usage, Everfit's payments add-on or a branded app. The GoHighLevel pricing breakdown lists every metered fee and add-on.

How would a fitness coach set this up in Coachful, step by step?

A tablet showing a client's coaching hub and a phone showing an enrolled program on a kitchen counter
The client's coaching hub with the next session on a tablet and the enrolled program view on a phone, next to a shaker bottle.

Take an illustrative example: an online strength coach leaving HighLevel with 15 clients on a 12-week program, an Instagram lead magnet and a free 20-minute consult call. Here is the order that keeps the business running during the move.

  1. Export from HighLevel first. Download contacts with custom fields, opportunities and conversations as CSV. Funnels, sites and workflows only travel as snapshots inside HighLevel, and data becomes inaccessible after cancellation, so do this before anything else.
  2. Request the build. Open Create, choose the white-glove option, and ask for a homepage, a lead-magnet funnel for your free mobility guide and a 12-week program outline. Attach your logo, photos and your old sales page copy. During onboarding, your clients, programs and content are imported for you.
  3. Set up booking. Create a free consult session type with intake questions (training age, injuries, current split, goal), buffers and minimum notice, then connect Google, Apple or Outlook calendar. Turn on SMS and WhatsApp reminders once messaging is enabled.
  4. Connect payments and contracts. Link your own Stripe account, create the 12-week offer as a payment plan or subscription, and attach the coaching agreement so it is signed before the first call. Include your scope line and the medical clearance requirement in the agreement and intake.
  5. Build the training block. Use the workout builder to program weeks 1 to 4 with supersets and tempo, attach your own demo videos, set calorie and macro targets, and add daily habits (steps, protein, sleep) plus a weekly check-in with photos and measurements.
  6. Add the accountability layer. Turn on morning and evening check-ins, invite clients to send form-check videos for their main lifts, and enroll the group so a cohort community is created automatically.
  7. Rebuild only the emails that earn money. Recreate the lead-magnet nurture sequence and a renewal sequence for week 10. Leave the dozens of HighLevel workflows you never checked.
  8. Watch the status column. Each week, sort clients by quiet or at risk and message them before the check-in is missed twice. Ask Michelle for a briefing before each call.

What mistakes do fitness coaches make when leaving GoHighLevel?

  • Cancelling before exporting. HighLevel data becomes inaccessible after cancellation. Export contacts, opportunities and conversations to CSV while your account is live.
  • Rebuilding every workflow one for one. Many HighLevel accounts carry automations that were built for an agency template. Keep the welcome, nurture and renewal flows; let the rest go.
  • Forgetting SMS conversations. If clients text your HighLevel number, tell them where to message you now. A missed "my knee hurts on lunges" text is a coaching failure, not just a software one.
  • Assuming wearable sync. Several tools here do not sync with Garmin, Fitbit or Whoop. If step counts matter, set steps as a daily habit clients enter themselves, and check each vendor's current list.
  • Comparing plan prices instead of stacks. A $25 training app plus a $97 marketing suite plus a scheduling add-on is not a cheap option. Price the full journey at your real client count.
  • Skipping the health screen. A new system is the right time to add a readiness questionnaire to intake, with clear rules for when a client needs a doctor's clearance first.
  • Running two systems for months. Pick a cut-over date, move the active cohort at a program boundary (the start of a new block) and close the old account.

Which GoHighLevel alternative should a fitness coach choose?

Choose Coachful if you want the sale and the coaching in one login: funnels, booking, payments and contracts on one side, workouts, nutrition, habits, check-ins and form-check video on the other, with the white-glove build to get you moved. It is the only tool on this list that covers both halves that HighLevel users usually split across two subscriptions.

Choose Trainerize, Everfit or HubFit if you only need the training app and already have marketing elsewhere; Everfit at very small rosters, HubFit at larger ones. Choose Kajabi if your fitness business is mostly digital products. Choose Systeme.io or Kartra if your problem is marketing cost and you are fine delivering coaching somewhere else. And stay on GoHighLevel if your business lives on paid ads, SMS conversations and a sales team working a pipeline: that is what it was built for.

Frequently asked questions

Is GoHighLevel good for personal trainers?

It is strong for the marketing side: funnels, websites, calendars, email and SMS, pipelines and invoicing, with 24/7 support. It has no workout builder, habit tracking or client check-ins, so most trainers add a separate training app. Whether it fits depends on how much of your work is acquisition versus delivery.

What is the cheapest GoHighLevel alternative for fitness coaches?

For training delivery alone, Everfit's free Starter plan covers up to 5 clients and Trainerize's Basic plan is free for 1 client. For marketing alone, Systeme.io has a free plan with 2,000 contacts. Neither covers the full journey, so compare the cost of the full stack you will run.

Can Coachful replace both GoHighLevel and my training app?

For most online fitness coaches, yes: it covers website, funnels, email sequences, booking, payments and contracts, plus workouts with logging, nutrition targets, habits, check-ins and form-check video. It does not offer a multi-stage deal board, HubSpot or Salesforce sync, or wearable sync, so check those against how you work.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

Every plan includes it. You describe what you want built, such as a website, a lead-magnet funnel, a program or an email sequence, attach references and files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include filming videos, logo design or ad management.

Does any of these tools sync with Garmin or Apple Health?

Coachful does not sync with Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available. Our notes for the other vendors do not confirm wearable integrations, so check each vendor's current integrations page if this matters to your coaching.

Can I move my GoHighLevel funnels to another platform?

Not directly. HighLevel funnels, sites and workflows are portable only as snapshots inside HighLevel, while contacts, opportunities and conversations export to CSV. Plan to rebuild your pages and import your contacts, or ask a white-glove service to rebuild them from your existing copy.

Do I need HIPAA compliance as a fitness coach?

Most fitness and nutrition coaches who are not healthcare providers are not covered by HIPAA, but rules vary, so check with an attorney if you work with medical referrals. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and is not for clinical records. HighLevel offers HIPAA as a $297/month add-on outside Enterprise.

Which tool is best for selling group fitness challenges?

Coachful includes challenges, cohort groups created on program enrollment, community feed and group calls alongside per-client tracking. Kajabi and Systeme.io can sell a challenge as a product or course but do not track each participant's habits and check-ins.

How long does it take to switch away from GoHighLevel?

It depends on how many funnels and workflows you actually use. Exporting contacts takes minutes; rebuilding a site, a lead-magnet funnel and a 12-week program is where the time goes. Switching at the start of a new training block and letting someone build the pages for you shortens it considerably.

Should I keep GoHighLevel for SMS marketing?
