Top 10 Mighty Networks Alternatives for Career Coaches in 2026

The best mighty networks alternatives for career coaches are the platforms that handle what happens between the job-search group and the job offer: the discovery call, the signed agreement, the resume and LinkedIn sessions, the weekly outreach targets and the mock interviews. Mighty Networks is strong at community, courses and events. Career coaching runs on 1:1 sessions and weekly accountability, so the deciding question is simple: do you need a place for members to gather, or a place where each client's search actually moves forward?
Our pick is Coachful, because it puts booking, coaching agreements, payments, job-search programs with habits and check-ins, courses and a cohort community behind one login, and the Coachful team will build your site and first funnel for you at no charge. We make Coachful, so we have kept the other nine entries factual and dated, with a clear line on when each one beats us. Prices below are as listed by each vendor in October 2026.
If you want the general version of this comparison, start with our Mighty Networks alternatives roundup. If you are choosing a whole stack from scratch, the best software for career coaches guide covers it more broadly.
What do career coaches need that Mighty Networks does not cover?
Career coaches need 1:1 booking with intake questions, a signed scope before the first session, per-client job-search plans with weekly targets, and flexible payments that include employer-paid invoices. Mighty Networks documents community, courses, events and member apps, but its own coach-relevant gaps are 1:1 scheduling, invoicing and contracts, plus per-client habits, check-ins and private coaching plans.
Be fair to Mighty first. As listed in October 2026, its Launch plan costs $95 a month billed monthly or $79 a month billed annually, and includes community, courses, events, its AI Cohost, basic automations, a custom domain and the free Mighty iOS and Android apps. Scale ($215 monthly, $179 annually) adds more automations, APIs and MCP access, Kit, Zapier and affiliate integrations, plus member export and tags. Growth is $354 a month on annual billing with no monthly price published. If your career practice is mostly a paid job-seeker membership with live Q&As, Mighty does that well. Our Mighty Networks review goes deeper on what it is good at.

Where career coaches outgrow it is the individual client journey. A typical career engagement looks like this:
- Discovery call booked from a LinkedIn post or referral, often across time zones, with questions about target role, current title and timeline.
- Agreement that sets scope: coaching, not job placement, and no promise of an offer by a given date.
- Positioning and materials: resume rewrite review, LinkedIn profile, a short story bank for interviews.
- Active search: weekly targets for applications and networking conversations, daily outreach, mock interviews before real ones.
- Offer and negotiation: one or two intense sessions, sometimes at short notice.
- Follow-through: first-90-days check-ins after the client starts the new role.
On Mighty, steps 1, 2, 4 and 6 need other tools: a scheduler, an e-signature service, an invoicing tool and something to track who actually sent their five outreach messages this week. Mighty also takes a platform fee on sales (2% on Launch, 1% on Scale, 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro), and your own branded app only comes with custom-priced Mighty Pro. Full pricing detail is in our Mighty Networks pricing breakdown.
Career coaching also differs from licensed career counseling, which in many places is a regulated profession practised by trained counselors (see the overview of career counseling on Wikipedia). If a client's job loss turns into persistent distress, refer them to a mental health professional; your software should help you notice that, not replace it.
Which questions should you answer about your career coaching practice first?
Answer these five questions before you compare any features. Each one removes several tools from the list, and the table in the next section maps your answers to a pick.
- Is your income mostly 1:1 packages or mostly group and membership? A resume-and-interview sprint sold to individuals needs booking and a client record. A paid job-seeker community needs a strong feed and events.
- Do clients need accountability between sessions? If you set weekly application and networking targets, you need habits, tasks and check-ins the client sees and you can review, not just a discussion thread.
- Who pays? Individuals paying by card, individuals on payment plans, or employers paying invoices for outplacement and leadership transition clients. The last one rules out tools that only sell checkouts.
- Do you sell a self-paced course alongside coaching? A "LinkedIn in a weekend" course or interview-prep library changes which platforms make sense.
- How many tools are you willing to run? Every extra login is another place a client can get lost between the booking confirmation and the first session.
Which platform fits your answers?
Find the row that sounds most like your practice. Where two answers point in different directions, the 1:1 answer usually matters more, because that is where most career coaching revenue sits.
| Pick | If your answers look like this | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Coachful | 1:1 packages plus cohorts, weekly accountability, card payments and employer invoices, optional course | Booking, agreements, payments, programs with habits and check-ins, courses and community under one login |
| Kajabi | Course-led business, large email list, coaching as an add-on product | Course, community, website, funnels and email in one place |
| Circle | Paid job-seeker community is the main product, 1:1 handled elsewhere | Closest like-for-like swap for a Mighty community |
| GoHighLevel | Career services agency with sales staff, high lead volume, SMS follow-up | CRM, calendars, invoicing and contracts built around sub-accounts |
| Podia | Small practice selling a few sessions, downloads and a simple community | Simple storefront that includes coaching products |
| Skool | Low-cost job-search group with classroom and calendar, no website needed | Community, courses and live calls in one group |
| Thinkific | Interview-prep or career-change course is the core product | Mature course platform with communities |
| Teachable | A handful of digital products and courses on a small budget | Low entry price for courses |
| Systeme.io | Pre-revenue, testing a lead magnet and email list | Free plan with funnels, email and a course |
| Ruzuku | Cohort-based course with live sessions and discussion | Course platform with built-in live meetings and 0% platform fee |

How did we choose and rank these tools?
We started from the career coaching journey above and asked which platforms can carry each step without a bolt-on. Prices, limits and fees come from each vendor's pricing page and help docs as listed in October 2026; feature gaps come from what vendors document and what public reviewers report. We have not run hands-on trials of the other platforms for this article.
Four criteria set the order. First, whether the coach and the client each get one login for booking, paying, signing and doing the work. Second, between-session delivery: can the client see this week's targets and check in on them? Third, total cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients, including platform fees and the separate tools you would need. Fourth, setup effort for a coach moving off Mighty. Community strength still counts, because many career coaches run job-search cohorts, but it is one need among several, not the whole job. We left out Mighty Networks itself, and tools that only do one slice, like standalone schedulers, which our scheduling guide for career coaches covers.
1. Coachful: why does it rank first for career coaches?
Coachful ranks first because it is the only option here that covers the full career coaching journey in one place: the discovery call, the signed agreement, the payment or employer invoice, a 12-week job-search program with daily outreach habits and weekly check-ins, a course library, and the cohort community that Mighty does well. Coachful is a coaching platform built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, from solo practices to small teams. One subscription, one login for you, one branded app for your client.

Booking that fits how career clients find you. Booking pages support availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, which matters when a relocating client in another country books your discovery call. Two-way sync covers Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendars. Sessions can use built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Intake questions on the booking form let you ask for target role, current title and timeline before the first call. Email reminders are included, and SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) reminders run once messaging is enabled. Paid sessions and session credits handle the "three mock interviews" package without manual counting. The booking software overview shows the full setup.
Here is a short walkthrough of scheduling inside Coachful:
Agreements before the first session. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record. For career coaches this is where you state scope in writing: you coach the search, you do not place candidates, and no outcome is guaranteed. That is not legal advice; have a local lawyer review your wording. The coaching contracts page explains the flow.

Job-search accountability that clients actually see. This is the gap Mighty leaves widest. Coachful runs multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. A "send three networking messages" habit, a weekly goal of "two first-round interviews booked", and an evening check-in asking what moved today all live in the client's branded app. On your side, each client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. A client who has gone quiet two weeks into a hard search shows up before they ghost you.

Payments that match career packages. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time packages, subscriptions, payment plans for a 90-day program, order bumps (an extra mock interview at checkout), coupons, refunds, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Stripe Tax. Every transaction gets an invoice, and you can raise manual invoices, which is how employer-paid outplacement or transition coaching usually works. Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026, so only processing fees apply.

Courses and community, so you do not lose what Mighty gave you. Courses with modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking hold your resume and LinkedIn material. Downloads, videos, books, AI tools, events and bundles sit next to them in the client's branded home. The community includes a feed, group chat, direct messages and video events, and cohort groups are created automatically when someone enrolls in a program, so your spring job-search cohort gets its own space without manual setup. We cover this in detail in running coaching cohorts without Mighty Networks.
Help with prep and paperwork. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from live practice data: it briefs you before a session (useful before a mock interview), summarizes recorded sessions, drafts emails and builds program outlines. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. If you are working toward an ICF credential, Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours (see ICF hour tracking).
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, the "We'll build it for you" option lets you describe what you want and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, headshot, existing resume service descriptions or brand guide. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours: a website, a discovery-call funnel, a sales page for your job-search program, the program itself, a course outline and written material, an email sequence or a lead quiz. Nothing gets invented, so there are no fake testimonials, credentials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill. One recent build was for a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away, who got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. More detail is in our white-glove service guide.

What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified and is not for clinical record-keeping. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no multi-stage sales deal board for large teams, no Salesforce or HubSpot integration, and no routing forms that pick a host from form answers. It is not a course marketplace, so it will not send you students. Team plans add coach seats with per-coach availability and staff permissions, plus round-robin or least-busy assignment for shared session types, which suits a small career services firm. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients. To start, take a free trial and request the white-glove build; clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. The Coachful for career coaches page shows the career-specific setup.
Pick it over Coachful if... this one is ours, so the honest line is the reverse: pick something else if you need PayPal, a marketplace that sends you students, or an app under your own App Store name.
2. Kajabi: is it worth it for a course-led career coaching business?
Kajabi suits career coaches whose business is built on a signature course and a big email list, with coaching sold as a premium tier. It bundles courses, a community, a website, funnels and email in one product, which replaces more of a Mighty-plus-extras stack than most course tools do.

As listed in October 2026, Basic is $179 a month ($143 on annual billing) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 1 website, 2 admin users and no AI credits. Growth is $249 ($199 annual) with 50 products, 25,000 contacts, 11 admin users and 500 AI credits. Pro is $499 ($399 annual). A 14-day trial is available; a card is optional, and if you enter one Kajabi places an authorization hold. Using Kajabi Payments in the US costs 2.9% plus 30¢ on Basic; a processor other than Kajabi Payments or PayPal adds a Kajabi fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth or 0.5% on Pro.
For a career coach, the appeal is a polished funnel from a free "resume teardown checklist" into a $500 course and then a coaching upsell. The limits show up in the 1:1 work. Kajabi's model is products and communities, not per-client plans, so there are no habits or daily check-ins for an individual job seeker. The 2,500-contact cap on Basic can arrive quickly if your LinkedIn lead magnet does well, and 5 products is tight once you split resume, LinkedIn, interview and negotiation offers. Public reviewers on Trustpilot give it 3.4 from 2,347 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if... your revenue comes mainly from course sales to a large list, and 1:1 coaching is a small, high-ticket extra you are happy to schedule and track elsewhere.
3. Circle: is it the closest like-for-like swap for a Mighty community?
Yes. Circle is the most direct replacement if your career practice is a paid job-seeker community: spaces, courses, events, live streams and paid memberships, with a similar plan shape to Mighty. Our Circle vs Mighty Networks comparison covers the head-to-head.

As listed in October 2026, Circle Professional is $89 a month billed annually (3 admins, 10 moderators, 2,500 AI credits a month), Business is $199 billed annually and Scale is $419 billed annually; monthly-billed prices were not shown in our data. Circle Plus is custom-priced and is the only route to branded mobile apps. A 14-day trial needs no credit card. Circle takes 2% of payments on Professional, 1% on Business and Scale and 0.5% on Circle Plus, plus Stripe processing.
For career coaches, Circle works well for a "Job Search Club" with spaces by industry, a weekly live hot-seat resume review and a library of interview recordings. It inherits the same gaps as Mighty for 1:1 work: no 1:1 scheduling, no client management back office and no per-client habits, check-ins or coaching plans. If you sell individual packages, you would still need a scheduler, contracts tool and invoicing on top. Trustpilot shows 4.1 from 129 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if... your whole offer is a large membership community where members mostly help each other, and you rarely coach anyone 1:1.
4. GoHighLevel: does an agency CRM make sense for career coaches?
Only for career services firms that run like a sales operation. GoHighLevel (HighLevel) is an agency-first marketing CRM with funnels, websites, calendars, SMS and email, invoicing, contracts, courses and communities, all organised into sub-accounts.

As listed in October 2026, Starter is $97 a month ($80.83 annual) with 3 sub-accounts and unlimited users and contacts; Unlimited is $297 ($247.50 annual); Agency Pro is $497 ($414.17 annual). There is a 14-day trial, and billing starts automatically at the end unless you cancel. HighLevel shows no platform fee on sales, but SMS, email, phone numbers and AI are metered and billed on top, at rates listed on separate pricing guides.
A firm selling outplacement packages to employers, with a sales assistant chasing leads by SMS, gets a lot here: pipelines, calendars, invoices and contracts. The trade-off is that there is no habit tracking, client check-in or structured coaching-program engine, so a job-search plan has to be simulated with workflows and forms. Video calls use Zoom or Google Meet links rather than built-in rooms. Setup is a project in itself, and the metered usage makes monthly cost harder to predict than a flat plan.
Pick it over Coachful if... you run a team selling high volumes of career packages and need a multi-stage sales deal board, or you are an agency managing several coaches' businesses as separate accounts.
5. Podia: can a simple storefront carry a small career practice?
For a coach selling a few offers, often yes. Podia is a simple storefront for courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and a community, and it is quick to set up.

As listed in October 2026, Mover costs $49 a month ($42 annual) with 50 products, 25 community spaces and 100 email subscribers included, and charges a 5% Podia transaction fee. Shaker is $99 ($84 annual) with 150 products, 500 email subscribers, 1 assistant and 0% fee. Earthquaker is $179 ($150 annual) with unlimited products and 1,000 email subscribers. The trial is 14 days with full access and no card. Stripe or PayPal processing applies on top.
A career coach could sell a "LinkedIn profile review" session, a cover letter template pack and a small alumni community from one Podia site. The weak points for this niche: email allowances are small (100, 500 or 1,000 subscribers included), which limits a newsletter for job seekers; there is no mobile app and no native video calls; and there are no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans for the active-search phase. Trustpilot shows 4.1 from 153 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if... you mostly sell downloadable templates and occasional single sessions, and you want the simplest possible storefront with PayPal at checkout.
6. Skool: is the cheapest community worth the transaction fees?
Skool is worth a look for a low-cost job-search group that needs a community, a classroom and a calendar in one place, with gamified leaderboards that can make daily outreach feel like a team effort. See our Skool vs Mighty Networks comparison for the side-by-side.

As listed in October 2026, Hobby is $9 a month ($7.50 annual) and Pro is $99 ($82.50 annual), both with unlimited members, courses, videos and live calls. Payments must go through Skool Payments: Hobby charges 10% plus 30¢ on every transaction; Pro charges 2.9% plus 30¢ up to $899 and 3.9% plus 30¢ above $900. The pricing page offers "try for free" but did not state the trial length or card terms when we checked.
That fee structure matters for career coaches, because packages above $900 are common for a full search program, and those fall into the higher Pro rate. Skool has no custom-domain website, funnels, email automation or public API, and no 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits or check-ins. It works as the group layer; everything individual sits elsewhere. Trustpilot shows 1.6 from 54 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if... you run a low-ticket job-seeker community at scale, members are fine living inside Skool, and you do not need your own website or email list.
7. Thinkific: when is a course platform the right home for career content?
When the course is the product. Thinkific suits a career coach whose main offer is a self-paced program such as "Career Change in 8 Weeks", with communities and live events as support.

As listed in October 2026, Start is $109 a month ($82 annual) for up to 10,000 current students, 2 admins and 1 community with 10 spaces. Grow is $219 ($164 annual), Expand $499 ($374 annual), and Plus is custom. Prices rose about 10% on August 13, 2026. Every self-serve plan has a 30-day trial. There is no Thinkific transaction fee with Thinkific Payments; third-party gateways carry an extra fee. A branded mobile app is a $199 a month add-on.
For career content, Thinkific's course tools are mature: structured modules for resume, LinkedIn, networking and interviews, plus a community for questions. It does not have built-in 1:1 scheduling (an older profile notes coaching relies on external booking links), and there are no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans. Trustpilot shows 1.8 from 868 reviews, so read recent reviews before committing.
Pick it over Coachful if... you expect thousands of self-paced students and need a dedicated learning platform more than a coaching back office.
8. Teachable: what does a low entry price actually cost a career coach?
Teachable's Starter plan is cheap to start, but its 7.5% platform fee means you pay more as soon as sales pick up. It is a course and digital-product platform with student mobile apps.

As listed in October 2026, Starter is $39 a month ($29 annual) with 5 products and a 7.5% platform fee. Builder is $89 ($69 annual) with 10 products and 0% fee; Growth is $189 ($139 annual) with 50 products and 5 admins. Trial terms on the plan cards were a 7-day free trial plus a 30-day guarantee. Teachable Payments processing for US cards is 2.9% plus 30¢.
Example: a career coach selling $3,000 a month of interview-prep courses on Starter would pay $225 of that in platform fees (an illustration, not a vendor figure), which makes Builder the cheaper plan. Teachable has no native scheduling or calendar sync (an older profile notes coaching calls rely on Calendly or Zoom) and no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans. Trustpilot shows 3.3 from 1,110 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if... you only sell a few recorded courses or templates, never run 1:1 programs, and want student mobile apps on a small budget.
9. Systeme.io: should a new career coach start on a free plan?
It can make sense before your first paying client. Systeme.io is a low-cost marketing suite with funnels, email, courses, a community, a blog and an affiliate program, and its free plan never expires.

As listed in October 2026, the Free plan includes 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 500 students, 1 custom domain, 1 automation rule and 1 email campaign, with no credit card required. Startup is $17 a month (5,000 contacts, 10 funnels, 5 courses), Webinar $47 and Unlimited $97. All plans have 0% transaction fees. Trustpilot shows 4.9 from 8,696 reviews.
A new career coach could test a "five-day LinkedIn makeover" email course and a simple sales page here for nothing. The gap appears once you sign clients: there is no native 1:1 scheduling with client records, habits or check-ins (per an older profile), and community and course features are basic, with no branded mobile app. You would add a scheduler, contracts tool and something for accountability, and move again once the practice grows.
Pick it over Coachful if... you have no clients yet, need a lead magnet and email list at zero cost, and are happy to switch platforms later.
10. Ruzuku: does a course tool with live meetings suit career cohorts?
It suits cohort-style career courses with live sessions and discussion. Ruzuku is an online course platform for coaches and other educators, with built-in live video meetings (up to 60 in a conference or 250 in a presentation) plus Zoom, community discussions and direct messaging on every plan.

As listed in October 2026, the Free plan allows up to 5 students enrolled at a time, with no card needed. Core is $99 a month ($83.08 annual) and Pro is $199 ($166.42 annual), both with unlimited students and courses. Every plan has 0% transaction fees, with only Stripe or PayPal processing, and paid plans carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. Courses can drip by enrollment date or fixed dates, and access can be sold one-time, as a subscription or as a payment plan.
A six-week "Career Pivot Cohort" with weekly live calls and discussion threads fits naturally. What it lacks for career coaches is the individual layer: there is no booking calendar for 1:1 sessions, no coaching agreements and no per-client habits or check-ins. Ruzuku shows a 4.4 G2 badge on its site; we could not verify the review count.
Pick it over Coachful if... you run only group courses with live calls, never sell 1:1 packages, and want PayPal and a free plan for small pilots.
Which features does each alternative include for career coaching?
The matrix below covers the features career coaches use most, based on vendor documentation and public reviews as of October 2026. "Partial" means the feature exists but needs workarounds for career coaching.
| Platform | 1:1 booking | E-sign agreements | Habits and check-ins | Courses | Community | Manual invoices |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes, with auto cohort groups | Yes |
| Mighty Networks | No | No | No | Yes | Yes | No |

| Ruzuku | No | No | No | Yes | Discussions | Not documented |
What does each option cost at 5, 15 and 40 career clients?
Monthly-billed list prices as of October 2026, choosing the cheapest plan that fits. Platform fees on sales come on top where noted. For the tools without 1:1 booking or contracts, you would also pay for a separate scheduler and e-signature tool, which we have not priced here because the choice varies. If you are still setting package prices, our guide on how much career coaches charge walks through it.
| Platform | 5 clients | 15 clients | 40 clients | Extra tools still needed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | None for booking, agreements, payments or accountability; 0% platform fee |
| Mighty Networks (Launch) | $95 + 2% of sales | $95 + 2% of sales | $95 + 2% of sales | Scheduler, e-signature, invoicing, accountability tracking |
| Kajabi (Basic) | $179 | $179 | $179 | Accountability tracking; Growth ($249) once you pass 2,500 contacts |
| Circle (Professional) | $89 billed annually + 2% | $89 billed annually + 2% | $89 billed annually + 2% | Scheduler, e-signature, invoicing, accountability tracking |
| GoHighLevel (Starter) | $97 + metered usage | $97 + metered usage | $97 + metered usage | Accountability has to be built with workflows |
| Podia (Shaker) | $99 | $99 | $99 | Video calls, e-signature, accountability tracking |
| Skool (Pro) | $99 + payment fees | $99 + payment fees | $99 + payment fees | Scheduler, e-signature, website, email |
| Thinkific (Start) | $109 | $109 | $109 | Scheduler, e-signature, accountability tracking |
| Teachable (Builder) | $89 | $89 | $89 | Scheduler, e-signature, accountability tracking |
| Systeme.io | $0 (Free) | $0 (Free) | $0 to $17 | Scheduler, e-signature, accountability tracking |
| Ruzuku | $0 (Free, 5 students) | $99 (Core) | $99 (Core) | Scheduler, e-signature, accountability tracking |
Two notes on reading this. First, percentage fees scale with revenue, not client count: as an illustration, 15 clients on a $1,500 package is $22,500 of sales, and a 2% platform fee on that is $450. Second, the cheapest sticker price often has the longest "extra tools" column, and each extra tool is another subscription plus another login for your client.
How would a career coach set this up in Coachful, step by step?
Here is how a solo career coach moving off Mighty Networks might set up a 12-week job-search program. Names and numbers are examples.
- Request the build. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you" and ask for a five-page site plus a discovery-call funnel. Attach your headshot, logo, LinkedIn URL and the copy from your old Mighty landing page. The team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours, and leaves gaps where you need to add your own testimonials.
- Set up the discovery call. Create a free 20-minute "Career clarity call" booking page with buffers, a minimum notice window and intake questions: current role, target role, timeline, biggest blocker. Time-zone detection handles clients abroad.
- Write the agreement. Add a coaching agreement that states scope (coaching, not recruitment), confidentiality, rescheduling and the fact that no job offer is guaranteed. It goes out for e-signature before the first session.
- Build the program. Start from one of the 40-plus program templates or ask Michelle to draft one. Weeks 1 and 2 cover positioning and the resume; week 3, LinkedIn; weeks 4 to 10, outreach and interviews; weeks 11 and 12, negotiation and the first 90 days.
- Add the daily layer. A habit for "three networking messages", a weekly goal for "applications sent", a morning check-in for today's priority and an evening check-in for what moved.
- Create the offer. Sell the program as a one-time payment or a three-part payment plan through your Stripe account, with an order bump for an extra mock interview. For employer-funded clients, raise a manual invoice instead.
- Move the community. Enrolling clients into the program creates the cohort group automatically, so your former Mighty members get a feed, group chat and video events for the weekly hot seat.
- Prep each session. Before a mock interview, read the AI briefing on the client record: check-in answers, habits hit or missed, notes from last time.

What red flags and switching costs should career coaches watch for?
The biggest switching costs are member data, rebuilt course content and payment fees that grow quietly. Check these before you move:
- Export before you cancel. Mighty's plan docs list member export with tags on Launch and Scale. An older profile notes posts and content are not bulk-exportable, so save your best threads and resources manually.
- Percentage fees on high-ticket packages. Career programs often run into four figures, so a 2% Mighty fee, 7.5% on Teachable Starter, 5% on Podia Mover or 10% on Skool Hobby is a real line item.
- Contact caps. A popular LinkedIn lead magnet can push you past Kajabi Basic's 2,500 contacts or Podia's small email allowances faster than you expect.
- "Branded app" claims. On Mighty and Circle, your own branded app means custom-priced top tiers. Thinkific's branded app is a $199 a month add-on. Check what you are actually getting.
- No place for accountability. If the platform cannot show a client's weekly targets and check-ins, you will end up running the job search from spreadsheets and DMs.
- Metered usage. GoHighLevel's SMS, email and AI usage is billed on top of the plan, so budget for it.
- Trial auto-billing. Kajabi places an authorization hold if you enter a card; HighLevel billing starts at trial end unless you cancel. Put a reminder in your calendar.

Which Mighty Networks alternative should career coaches choose?
If you coach individuals through a job search, choose Coachful. It keeps the community and courses you used Mighty for, and adds the parts career coaching depends on: booking with intake questions, agreements, flexible payments and employer invoices, and job-search programs with habits and check-ins your clients actually see. The free white-glove build removes most of the setup work.
Choose Circle if your business is a membership community with little 1:1 work. Choose Kajabi or Thinkific if a course is your main product. Choose GoHighLevel if you run a sales-driven career services team. Choose Systeme.io if you have no clients yet and need a free lead magnet. Frequently asked questions
Is Mighty Networks good for career coaches?
It is good for the community side: a paid job-seeker group with courses, events and live streams. It does not include 1:1 scheduling, invoicing, contracts or per-client habits and check-ins, so career coaches who sell individual packages need extra tools alongside it.
What is the best Mighty Networks alternative for career coaches?
For most career coaches who sell 1:1 or small-group programs, Coachful is the best fit because booking, agreements, payments, job-search programs and the community run under one login. If you only run a membership community, Circle is the closest like-for-like swap.
How much does Mighty Networks cost in 2026?
As listed in October 2026, Launch is $95 a month billed monthly or $79 billed annually, Scale is $215 monthly or $179 annually, and Growth is $354 a month on annual billing. Mighty also takes a 2%, 1% or 0.5% platform fee on sales depending on the plan.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a done-for-you build included on every plan. You describe what you want, such as a website, funnel, program or email sequence, attach references and files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing.
Can I track job-search accountability in Coachful?
Yes. Programs include weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. You see each client's check-ins and status (thriving, active, quiet or at risk) on their record.
Can employers pay for career coaching through Coachful?
Yes. Alongside card checkouts and payment plans, you can raise manual invoices, which suits outplacement or transition coaching paid by a company. Payments go through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account; PayPal is not supported.
Will I lose my Mighty Networks members if I switch?
Not if you plan it. Export your member list first (Mighty's docs list member export with tags on Launch and Scale), invite members to the new community, and run both for a short overlap. Our migration guide walks through the sequence.
Does Coachful give me my own branded app?
Clients use the Coachful app with your branding inside it. The app is published under the Coachful listing, not under your own App Store account.
Can Coachful track my ICF coaching hours?
Yes. It counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours.
Is Coachful suitable for a career services firm with several coaches?
Team plans add coach seats with per-coach availability, staff permissions and round-robin or least-busy assignment for shared session types. It has no multi-stage sales deal board or Salesforce and HubSpot integration, so large sales-led firms may prefer a CRM such as GoHighLevel.
