10 Best Hootsuite Alternatives for Coaches (2026 Guide)

The best Hootsuite alternatives for coaches depend on one question: are you replacing a social media tool, or the pile of tools behind it? Hootsuite is built for marketing teams that manage many brands, priced per user, with listening, a shared inbox and deep reports. Most coaches post to three or four networks, and what they actually need is for those posts to turn into booked discovery calls, paid clients and clients who stay on track between sessions.
Our pick is Coachful, because its social planner sits in the same login as booking, payments, contracts, programs, community, website, funnels and email, so a post can point to a funnel that ends in a paid, scheduled client. We make Coachful, so read our ranking with that in mind; every other tool below is described from what its vendor documents and what public reviewers report, with prices as listed in October 2026 unless we say otherwise. If you only want a cheaper scheduler, Buffer, Metricool and Later are strong, and we say exactly when to choose them instead.

What do coaches actually need from a Hootsuite replacement?
Coaches need a tool that turns content into conversations and conversations into clients, at a price that makes sense for one person. Hootsuite answers the first half well and the second half not at all: it has no booking calendar, no client records, no payments, no programs and no courses.
Here is what a coaching business typically asks of social media, and where a pure scheduler stops:
- A steady content rhythm. A life or business coach usually posts a few times a week to Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook, maybe YouTube or Threads. That is three to six channels, not the ten-account, multi-brand setup Hootsuite's plans are shaped around.
- A destination for every post. Posts send people to a free guide, a quiz, a webinar or a "book a call" page. If that destination lives in another tool, you pay for both and stitch them together with Zapier.
- A record of who came from where. When someone downloads your guide, you want to see them as a lead, with the source, not as a username in a social inbox.
- Booking, contracts and payment in one flow. A discovery call that converts should lead to an agreement, a payment and the first session without three logins.
- Between-session delivery. Coaching results come from what clients do between calls: weekly goals, habits, check-ins. No social tool covers that, which is why coaches leaving Hootsuite often look at coaching platforms rather than another scheduler.
- Per-person pricing that fits a solo practice. Hootsuite lists Standard at $99 per user per month billed yearly, or $149 billed monthly. A coach with a part-time assistant pays for two seats.
To be fair to Hootsuite, it is still stronger than anything below at social listening, competitor benchmarking, a unified inbox across many networks, approval workflows and reporting for teams. If those are your job, stay. Most coaches are not running a social media department, though, and that is where the alternatives win.

How did we choose and rank these tools?
We started from the jobs a coach hires Hootsuite to do, then asked what else that coach is paying for. Each tool had to either schedule social posts well or replace part of the coaching stack that social media feeds.
- Vendor documentation only. Features and limits come from each vendor's pricing and help pages. We did not run hands-on tests, and we do not repeat claims a vendor does not make.
- Prices as listed. Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Planoly and Metricool were checked in late October 2026. Paperbell and Practice Better were re-verified in October 2026. GoHighLevel's pricing page was read on the day of writing. Stan Store's figures date from September 2026 because its page did not render for us today, and Publer's paid prices load in the browser only, so we could not confirm them.
- Coaching fit over social depth. A tool that books, bills and delivers ranks above one that only posts, provided its posting covers the networks coaches use.
- Public reputation, labelled. Where we mention Trustpilot scores, they are what the page showed in October 2026 (Hootsuite showed 1.3 from 556 reviews), not our own rating.
For background on Hootsuite itself, its Wikipedia entry covers the company's history.
1. Coachful: the whole client journey, with a social planner built in

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login and the client has one branded app. For someone leaving Hootsuite, the point is not that Coachful out-schedules a social suite. It is that the post, the lead, the call, the payment and the coaching all happen in the same place.
How the social planner works
You find it under Sell, then How you reach them, then Social planner. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, helps with post ideas and captions, and you schedule and publish to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube from one calendar. Each network publishes separately, with a per-network retry and a notification if one fails, so a LinkedIn hiccup does not hold up your Instagram post.
Be clear about the limits. Coachful does not publish to TikTok or Pinterest, does not offer social analytics dashboards and does not have a unified social inbox for comments and DMs. If listening and inbox triage are central to your work, Hootsuite or a dedicated tool remains the better fit for that part.
Where the posts send people
This is the part Hootsuite cannot do. A Coachful post can point to a lead-magnet funnel, an application funnel, a booking funnel or a checkout funnel, each with pixels and UTM tracking, or to a link-in-bio page that sells. People who opt in land on your Prospects page with the form or resource they came through.

From there, email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences (with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits) follow up automatically. When someone books, the booking page handles availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time zones, syncs with Google, Apple or Outlook calendars, and creates the video link. Intake questions are asked at booking, a coaching agreement with e-signature goes out before the first call, and payment runs through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with a 0% Coachful platform fee.

The walkthrough below shows how funnels are put together in Coachful, which is where most of your social traffic should end up.
What happens after someone pays
Clients get multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goal progress bars and streaks. Each client record collects goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, and Michelle can brief you before a session. Group clients join a community feed with group chat and video events, and cohort groups are created automatically when someone enrolls in a program.

Coachful also counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ICF ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds, which matters to coaches building toward a credential. A full client data export is available as a ZIP, and clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. Pricing is flat monthly plans, where lower plans cap the number of clients and Pro is unlimited (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Team plans add coach seats when you hire.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, then "We'll build it for you · FREE", you describe what you want: a website, a lead-magnet funnel, a sales page, a program, an email sequence, a link in bio, a lead quiz and more. You can attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, such as your logo, brand guide, old Hootbio links or a doc of your best-performing posts. The Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours, and leaves gaps for you rather than inventing credentials, testimonials or prices. One recent build: a business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read how the white-glove service works.

What Coachful does not do: it is not HIPAA-certified, has no PayPal, needs a paid plan once the trial ends, has no Salesforce or HubSpot integration, and its client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding rather than under your own App Store account. For the full product view, see Coachful's coaching software and the email marketing for coaches page.
Pick it over Coachful if... this is Coachful, so the honest reverse: keep a separate scheduler alongside Coachful if TikTok or Pinterest drive your leads, or if you need social analytics dashboards.
2. Buffer: the cheapest clean scheduler for a handful of channels

Buffer is the closest thing to "Hootsuite's calendar without the rest" and costs a fraction of it. It publishes to Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube Shorts, Threads, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Mastodon and Substack, which is wider network coverage than most coaches will ever use.
Per-channel pricing in practice
Pricing is per connected channel. Essentials is $6 per channel per month, or $5 billed yearly, for one user with unlimited scheduled posts (fair use cap 5,000 per channel). Team is $12, or $10 yearly, per channel with unlimited team members. A solo coach on Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook pays $18 a month, or $15 a month yearly. The Free plan covers up to 3 channels with 10 queued posts per channel at a time, which is enough for a coach posting a few times a week if you top up the queue. A 14-day trial of Essentials or Team drops back to Free if you do not add payment details.

For coaches, Buffer's Start Page gives you a simple link-in-bio page on every plan. Instagram personal profiles and Facebook groups are reminder-only, which matters if you run a free Facebook group as your community. Buffer showed 4.2 on Trustpilot from 146 reviews in October 2026.
What it does not do: Buffer does not process payments, book calls or hold client records, so your discovery call, contract and program still live elsewhere. That is the cost the low sticker price hides.
Pick it over Coachful if... you already have a coaching platform you are happy with and only need to replace Hootsuite's scheduling for the least money, especially on TikTok or Pinterest.
3. Metricool: when you still want Hootsuite-style reports

Metricool keeps the part of Hootsuite that analytically minded coaches miss most: reporting. Paid plans include unlimited analytics history and tracking for up to 100 competitors, at a much lower entry price than Hootsuite's benchmarking.
Plans, brands and the LinkedIn catch
The Free plan is "free, forever" for 1 brand, 20 scheduled posts a month and 30 days of analytics, but it excludes LinkedIn and X. That rules it out for many business and executive coaches, whose audience is on LinkedIn. Starter is $25 a month, or $20 billed yearly, for up to 5 brands with unlimited publishing under a fair use policy and 20 AI credits per brand per month. X is a $10 per month add-on. There is no standard paid-plan trial; the Free plan plays that role.
Metricool connects Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky, Google Business Profile, Twitch and LinkedIn on paid plans, plus your website and Facebook, Google and TikTok ads accounts. SmartLinks gives you a link-in-bio page, and Flows on paid plans automates Instagram comment-to-DM and keyword DM replies, a common way coaches deliver a free guide from a "comment GUIDE" post. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 690 reviews in October 2026.
The gap is the same as Buffer's: nothing after the click. A DM with a link still needs a funnel, a booking page and a payment tool somewhere else.
Pick it over Coachful if... you decide content by the numbers, want competitor tracking and ad account reporting, and have your client delivery covered by another tool.
4. Later: visual planning for Instagram-first coaches

Later is built around a visual Instagram grid planner, which suits coaches whose brand lives in carousels, Reels and a tidy feed: wellness, mindset, confidence and relationship coaches in particular. It publishes to Instagram, Facebook Pages, Threads, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube (Shorts only) and Snapchat. X support ended on 28 August 2025, and Bluesky and Google Business Profile are not supported.
Where the tiers bite
Starter is $25 a month, or $18.75 billed yearly, for 1 user and 1 Social Set (up to 8 profiles, one per network), 30 posts per profile per month, 5 AI credits and 3 months of analytics. You cannot add users or Social Sets on Starter. Growth is $50, or $37.50 yearly, for 2 users, 180 posts per profile and a year of analytics, and it is also where the Social Inbox for Instagram and Facebook DMs and comments starts. A free plan exists in Later's help center (12 posts per profile per month, no analytics), though the pricing page promotes trials. The 14-day trial needs a card and converts automatically unless you cancel.
Every plan includes a Link in Bio page that can collect email sign-ups into Mailchimp or a CSV, which is useful but means your list lives in yet another tool. Later showed 1.4 on Trustpilot from 352 reviews in October 2026, so read recent reviews on billing before starting the card-required trial.
Pick it over Coachful if... Instagram and TikTok aesthetics are the core of your marketing and you want a drag-and-drop grid preview more than anything else.
5. Paperbell: replace the admin behind your posts, not the posts

Paperbell is a different kind of Hootsuite alternative: it does not schedule social posts at all, but it gives a solo coach a "social-friendly" website with booking, payment, contracts and a client portal behind it, which is where many coaches leaving Hootsuite realise their real cost sits.
As listed in October 2026, Paperbell has a single tier at $97 a month, or $970 a year (about $80.83 a month), per coach, with unlimited clients and sessions and no added transaction fee. It takes Stripe and PayPal and supports subscriptions, payment plans, coupons and setup fees. Contracts with e-signature are tied to package purchase, and it has intake forms, a client portal and group coaching functionality. Its help center describes a 7-day trial, and paid plans carry a 30-day money-back guarantee.
What coaches outgrow
Reviewers note there are no structured multi-week programs, no habit tracking or daily check-ins, no community and no native mobile app. It is one service provider per account, and Paperbell's own FAQ says it is not HIPAA compliant. You would still pay for a social scheduler and an email marketing tool on top. We compare the options in our Paperbell alternatives roundup.
Pick it over Coachful if... you sell straightforward 1:1 packages, want a flat price with unlimited clients, need PayPal at checkout, and are content to keep a separate social tool.
6. Practice Better: for health coaches who need HIPAA

Practice Better is a practice-management platform for health, nutrition and wellness professionals. It has no social scheduler, but for a health coach leaving Hootsuite it replaces the client side with something Coachful cannot offer: Practice Better states HIPAA, PIPEDA, PHIPA and GDPR compliance.
As listed in October 2026, the Sprout plan is free for 3 clients. Starter is $35 a month, or $25 yearly, for 10 clients; Professional is $69, or $59 yearly, for 300 clients and adds group scheduling and fixed-date programs; Plus is $99, or $89 yearly, for unlimited clients with evergreen programs and portal branding. Paid plans have a 14-day trial. Payments run through Stripe with packages, payment plans and deposits, and there is an iOS and Android client app with food and lifestyle journaling.
The marketing gap
There is no website builder; you embed booking widgets in WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or Webflow. Email covers program sequences and broadcasts rather than marketing funnels, and the community is program chat rather than a standalone space. So the social tool, website and lead capture all stay separate.
A note on scope: health coaching is not medical treatment. If a client describes symptoms, medication questions or disordered eating, refer them to a doctor or licensed clinician. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified, so clinical records belong in a clinical system such as this one.
Pick it over Coachful if... you work with protected health information, need a signed HIPAA arrangement, or run food journaling with clients as a core part of the work.
7. Planoly: an Instagram planner with a small storefront attached

Planoly started as a visual Instagram grid planner and now auto-posts to Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads and Pinterest. X is reminder-only, and Bluesky and Google Business Profile are not supported. For coaches, the interesting part is Creator Store, a link-in-bio storefront on every paid plan.
Creator Store sells digital downloads, e-courses, memberships, live events and paid 1:1 consultations, and Planoly says it takes no cut of sales (Stripe or PayPal processing still applies). Paid bookings support availability windows, buffers, Google Calendar sync and video meeting links. Starter is $16 a month, or $14 yearly, for 1 Social Set and 1 user with unlimited uploads; Growth is $28, or $24 yearly, for 2 sets and 2 users; Pro is $55, or $47 yearly, for 6. A free mobile-only plan allows 10 uploads a month, and all paid plans include a 14-day trial. Trustpilot showed 3.2 from 61 reviews in October 2026.
Limits worth knowing
There are no coaching agreements, client progress records, habit check-ins or programs. It is a good bridge from "posting" to "selling a first offer", less so for running a practice of 20 clients.
Pick it over Coachful if... you sell mostly digital products and occasional calls from Instagram, and the lowest price for a planner plus a storefront matters most.
8. Stan Store: selling from the bio link, without a scheduler
Stan Store is popular with coaches who grow on Instagram and TikTok and sell straight from their bio link. It is not a scheduler, so it replaces Hootbio and the store behind it rather than Hootsuite's calendar. Its Instagram AutoDM feature, plus Meta, TikTok and Pinterest pixels, are built for social-first selling.
Figures here date from our September 2026 check because Stan's pricing page did not render for us today. Creator was $29 a month, or $25 billed yearly ($300 a year), with unlimited products and customers, digital downloads, courses, webinars, a community and calendar bookings. Creator Pro was $99 a month, or $79 yearly, and adds email flows and broadcasts, upsells and order bumps, discount codes and affiliate tools. Stan says it keeps no platform fee; Stripe or PayPal processing applies. A 14-day trial of Creator is offered. Stan showed 4.7 on Trustpilot from 2,156 reviews at that check.
Where coaches hit the ceiling
Courses drip modules, but there is no multi-week program with daily tasks or check-ins, no habit tracking and no branded client app. Email marketing only arrives on Creator Pro. See our Stan Store alternatives for business coaches for a longer comparison.
Pick it over Coachful if... your business is mostly low-ticket digital products and quick paid calls sold from Instagram or TikTok, and you do not need structured client programs.
9. Publer: bulk scheduling and post recycling
Publer is a scheduler with a long feature list for people who batch content: bulk scheduling of up to 500 posts at once via CSV, post recycling, RSS automations and a Threads composer that posts across X, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon. It integrates with Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Bluesky, Google Business Profile, Mastodon, X, Telegram, YouTube, WordPress and TikTok, and includes Linkie, a link-in-bio page that updates with your content.
We read Publer's pricing page on the day of writing. The Free plan is 1 user, 1 workspace and 3 social accounts (X excluded), with 10 scheduled posts per account at a time and a 24-hour post history. Professional adds unlimited scheduling, first-comment scheduling and X; Business adds analytics, best times to post, competitor analysis and hashtag analytics. Pricing is per social account, and for every 9 accounts the 10th is free. The paid prices load in the browser only, so we could not verify them and are not quoting a figure; check the page yourself before comparing.
For the coach who repurposes
Recycling evergreen posts is a real time-saver for coaches whose best content is timeless (a framework, a client-question answer). Like Buffer, though, Publer stops at the click: no booking, payments or client records.
Pick it over Coachful if... you batch a quarter of content in one sitting, want evergreen posts to recycle automatically, and already run your clients elsewhere.
10. GoHighLevel: agency power, agency complexity
GoHighLevel is an all-in-one marketing platform built for agencies, and its core features include Social Media Management alongside a CRM with pipelines, booking calendars, website and funnel builder, email and SMS marketing, payments and invoicing, courses and communities. On paper it replaces Hootsuite and most of a coaching stack.
Its pricing page lists Starter at $97 a month or $970 a year with 3 sub-accounts, unlimited contacts and unlimited users; Unlimited at $297 a month; Agency Pro at $497 a month. A 14-day free trial is offered on every plan. Email, SMS, phone and AI usage are billed on top, and add-ons include a branded client portal app at $49 a month per sub-account and HIPAA compliance at $297 a month. Payments connect to Stripe, PayPal, Square, Razorpay and others.
The coaching fit
There is no coaching-program or client-task engine and no habit tracking; those would have to be simulated with workflows and forms. Setup is the common complaint: it is powerful, but a solo coach is effectively configuring an agency tool. Our GoHighLevel alternatives for coaches guide goes deeper.
Pick it over Coachful if... you run paid ads with SMS follow-up at volume, need sales pipelines with multiple stages, or plan to resell the software to other coaches.
How do the features compare side by side?
This matrix shows what each tool documents, not how well it does it. "Partial" means the vendor offers a lighter version of the feature.

What does each option cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?
Social schedulers do not price by client, so their cost stays flat while the rest of your stack grows. The last column shows what you would still need to buy. Figures are the lowest listed monthly price on yearly billing for one coach, as listed in October 2026 except where noted.
| Tool | 5 clients | 15 clients | 40 clients | Still needed for a coaching business |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | A scheduler only if you post to TikTok or Pinterest |
| Hootsuite Standard | $99 | $99 | $99 | Booking, payments, contracts, website, email, programs |
| Buffer Essentials (3 channels) | $15 | $15 | $15 | Booking, payments, contracts, website, email, programs |
| Metricool Starter | $20 | $20 | $20 | Booking, payments, contracts, website, email, programs |
| Later Starter | $18.75 | $18.75 | $18.75 | Booking, payments, contracts, website, email, programs |
| Paperbell | $80.83 | $80.83 | $80.83 | Social scheduler, email marketing, community, programs |
| Practice Better | $25 (Starter) | $59 (Professional) | $59 (Professional) | Social scheduler, website, marketing email |
| Planoly Starter | $14 | $14 | $14 | Contracts, client records, programs, email |
| Stan Store Creator (September 2026) | $25 | $25 | $25 | Social scheduler, programs, email (Pro only) |
| Publer | Not verified | Not verified | Not verified | Booking, payments, contracts, website, email, programs |
| GoHighLevel Starter | $80.83 plus usage | $80.83 plus usage | $80.83 plus usage | Coaching programs and check-ins; setup time |
As an example of stack math: a coach on Hootsuite Standard who also pays for a booking tool, an email tool and a course platform is running four subscriptions, and every new tool adds a login for clients too. Add your own current bills to the "still needed" column before deciding. Our comparison hub lists more tools by category.
How does a coach move from Hootsuite to Coachful, step by step?
The cleanest switch takes a week or two and keeps your posting rhythm unbroken. Here is how a business coach posting to LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube might do it.

- Export before you cancel. Hootsuite includes content calendar export on all plans. Export your scheduled and recent posts, and list every link in your Hootbio page so nothing points to a dead page later.
- Start your Coachful trial and request a build. Use "We'll build it for you · FREE" to ask for a lead-magnet funnel and a link-in-bio page. Attach your logo, brand colours and your three best-performing posts as files so the team can match your voice.
- Connect payments and calendars. Connect your Stripe account, then sync Google, Apple or Outlook so availability is accurate. Set buffers and minimum notice on your discovery call type.
- Build the path a post leads to. Free guide, then a short email sequence, then a booking page with intake questions. Add your Meta Pixel and UTM tags so you know which network sends leads.
- Prepare the agreement. Upload or write your coaching agreement so it is sent for e-signature before the first call. See coaching contracts in Coachful.
- Load the social planner. Connect Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube in the Social planner, ask Michelle for a month of post ideas from your offer, edit them in your voice, and schedule each to point at the funnel or booking page.
- Set up what clients get after they pay. Pick one of the program templates, add weekly goals and a morning check-in, and attach the community so cohort groups form automatically on enrollment.
- Run both for one cycle. Let the last Hootsuite posts publish while new ones go out from Coachful, then cancel Hootsuite before the next billing date.
Business coaches can see the full setup on Coachful for business coaches, and life coaches on Coachful for life coaches.
What mistakes should coaches avoid when leaving Hootsuite?
Most switching mistakes come from comparing schedulers feature by feature instead of asking what each post is supposed to produce.
- Swapping one scheduler for another and stopping there. If your Hootsuite bill was the trigger, check the rest of your stack too; the booking, email and course tools often cost more combined.
- Forgetting the bio link. Hootbio goes when your Hootsuite plan does. Rebuild that page before cancelling, or every profile points nowhere.
- Measuring likes instead of booked calls. For example, a coach with 30 leads a month and 3 discovery calls needs a better funnel, not a better analytics dashboard. Track opt-ins and bookings by source.
- Ignoring network gaps. Later dropped X, Metricool's free plan excludes LinkedIn, and Coachful does not post to TikTok or Pinterest. Match the tool to where your clients actually scroll.
- Treating DMs as your client record. Conversations in a social inbox are not notes, intake answers or agreements. Move a prospect into your coaching system as soon as they show real interest; our lead management for coaches page shows one way.
- Starting a card-required trial without a reminder. Later and GoHighLevel trials convert automatically. Put the end date in your calendar.
- Posting health claims. Health and wellness coaches should keep posts within coaching scope and avoid promising medical outcomes; refer clinical questions to qualified professionals.
What is our verdict on the best Hootsuite alternative for coaches?
For most coaches, Coachful is the best Hootsuite alternative because it replaces the scheduler and the tools your posts are meant to feed: funnels, booking, contracts, payments, programs, community and email, in one login, with a free white-glove build to get started. Keep Hootsuite only if social listening, a shared inbox and team approvals are central to your work.
If you just need cheaper scheduling, choose Buffer for the lowest cost and widest network list, Metricool if you want reports, and Later or Planoly if your brand is built on Instagram visuals. Choose Practice Better if you handle protected health information, and Paperbell if you want a simple flat-price package seller and do not mind adding a separate social tool.
Coachful is for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, and for solo coaches growing into a small team. It does not offer HIPAA, PayPal, an unpaid tier after the trial or TikTok and Pinterest publishing. To start, take a free trial and request a free white-glove build from the Create page (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).
Frequently asked questions
Is Hootsuite worth it for a solo coach?
Usually not. Hootsuite lists Standard at $99 per user per month billed yearly, or $149 monthly, and its strengths (listening, team inbox, approvals, benchmarking) suit marketing teams. A solo coach posting to three or four networks gets similar scheduling from Buffer or Metricool for far less, or scheduling plus the whole client journey from Coachful.
Does Coachful replace Hootsuite completely?
It replaces scheduling and publishing for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube, with AI help on ideas and captions. It does not publish to TikTok or Pinterest, has no social analytics dashboards and no unified social inbox. If you need those, pair Coachful with a low-cost scheduler such as Buffer.
What is the cheapest Hootsuite alternative?
Buffer's Free plan covers up to 3 channels with 10 queued posts each, and Metricool and Publer also have free plans. On paid plans, Planoly Starter at $14 a month yearly and Buffer Essentials at $5 per channel yearly are among the lowest listed prices. None of them handle booking or client delivery.
Can I keep my link-in-bio page when I leave Hootsuite?
Hootbio is part of Hootsuite's plans, so plan to rebuild it. Buffer, Metricool, Later, Planoly and Publer each include a link-in-bio page, and Coachful has a link-in-bio page that sells. List your current links before you cancel so you can recreate them.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a free build service on every plan. From the Create page you describe what you want, such as a website, funnel, sales page, program or email sequence, and attach up to 8 links and 10 files; the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.
Which Hootsuite alternative is best for health coaches?
If you handle protected health information, Practice Better is the safer choice because it states HIPAA compliance; Coachful is not HIPAA-certified. Health coaches who coach habits and lifestyle without clinical records can use Coachful's programs, check-ins and Fitness and Nutrition pack. Either way, coaching is not treatment, so refer clients with medical concerns.
Do any of these tools have a social inbox like Hootsuite?
Later's Social Inbox for Instagram and Facebook DMs and comments starts on its Growth plan, and Metricool's Flows automate Instagram comment-to-DM replies on paid plans. Coachful does not have a unified social inbox. If comment and DM triage across many networks is daily work for you, Hootsuite remains stronger.
Can Coachful handle payments from social media leads?
Yes. Checkout and booking funnels take payment through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, including subscriptions, payment plans, coupons, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with a 0% Coachful platform fee. PayPal is not supported.
How long does it take to switch from Hootsuite?
Plan on one billing cycle: export your Hootsuite calendar, set up the new tool, and let both run briefly so your posting rhythm does not break. With Coachful, the white-glove team can build your funnel and link-in-bio page while you set up the social planner.
