Top 7 Paperbell Alternatives for Health Coaches in 2026

Top 7 Paperbell Alternatives for Health Coaches in 2026

The best paperbell alternatives for health coaches are the tools that keep working after the session ends. Paperbell is good at the front office: one plan, packages, booking, payments and contracts. Health coaching happens in the days between calls, when a client is supposed to drink the water, take the walk, log the meal and sleep before midnight. If your software cannot see those days, you end up chasing clients over text and running habits from a spreadsheet.

Our pick is Coachful, because it puts booking, payments and agreements in the same login as multi-week programs, daily habits, morning and evening check-ins, nutrition tools, community and your website. We make Coachful, so read our ranking with that in mind. We have kept every other tool's facts to what its own pricing page and public reviews say, dated, and we tell you plainly when another tool is the better fit, including when you need a clinical system Coachful is not.

This guide starts with a five-question checklist, maps your answers to a pick, then ranks seven tools, prices them at 5, 15 and 40 clients, and finishes with red flags and switching costs. For the general version of this list, see our Paperbell alternatives for all coaches.

Where do health coaches outgrow Paperbell?

Health coaches usually outgrow Paperbell when their offer shifts from selling sessions to running a program. Paperbell sells and schedules the package very well; it does much less to support the habit work in between.

Credit where it is due first. As listed in October 2026, Paperbell has a single plan at $97 a month or $970 a year (shown against $1,164, "2 Mo Free!"), with unlimited clients, sessions, files, packages and traffic. That one price covers a coaching website, scheduling, payments and packages, a client portal, contracts, email workflows, forms, group coaching, video call integration, notes, digital downloads, online classes and custom branding. The pricing page says there are "no upsells or hidden add-ons" and "no additional transaction fees" (Stripe or PayPal processor fees still apply, per an older profile). There is a 30-day money-back guarantee. For a solo health coach who sells a six-session package and wants a booking link, a contract and a payment in one checkout, that is a tidy setup. Our Paperbell review and Paperbell pricing breakdown go deeper.

The gaps show up in the health coaching workflow itself:

  • Daily habits and check-ins. An older profile of Paperbell found no goal or habit tracking. A sleep, hydration or movement program lives on daily repetition, so the coach needs to see who checked in and who went quiet.
  • Program delivery. A 12-week metabolic health or stress reset program is weeks of content, tasks and reflections. Paperbell now lists online classes and digital downloads, but the older profile found no full course builder or community.
  • Nutrition and movement tools. Meal plans, recipes, macro targets, workout logs and progress photos are common in health coaching. Paperbell does not list them.
  • A client app. The older profile notes no native mobile app, only the mobile browser. Clients who check in every morning tend to want an app on their phone.
  • Funnels and email nurture. Many health coaches grow through a free guide, a five-day challenge or a quiz. Paperbell has a website and email workflows; it does not list funnel pages.

One more scope note that shapes every pick on this list. Health coaching is not medical care. Coaches support behavior change; they do not diagnose, prescribe or treat. If a client reports new symptoms, wants to change medication, shows signs of disordered eating, or describes something that needs a diagnosis, refer them to their doctor, a registered dietitian or a licensed therapist. The National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching publishes the scope and ethics standards many coaches follow. If you work inside a clinic or bill insurance, you may be a covered entity under HIPAA (see the HHS guidance on covered entities), and that changes which software you can use.

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

Which questions should you answer before you switch?

Answer these five questions about your practice before you compare features. Each one rules tools in or out faster than any feature list.

  1. Do you keep clinical records, bill insurance or need a signed BAA? If yes, you need a HIPAA-compliant clinical system. Coaching platforms built for non-clinical coaching are the wrong home for charts.
  2. Do your clients need daily habits, check-ins and weekly program content between calls? If yes, the tool has to deliver into the client's day, not just hold a booking.
  3. Do you coach nutrition or movement with meal plans, macro targets or workouts? If yes, check for meal plans, recipes, food lookup and workout logging, or plan on a second app.
  4. Do you sell to groups, with a community, cohorts or a course? If yes, you need group programs and a community, not just a group session type.
  5. Do you need a website, a lead magnet funnel and email sequences? If yes, count what it costs to keep a separate site builder and email tool next to your coaching software.

Which tool fits your answers?

Match your yes answers to the table. Most health coaches who say yes to questions 2 through 5 end up with Coachful; a yes to question 1 points to a clinical system.

How did we rank these Paperbell alternatives?

We ranked on four things that matter most once a health coach outgrows Paperbell, and they favour all-in-one tools. We did not test these tools hands-on; facts come from each vendor's pricing page and public reviews.

Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery (habits, check-ins, programs), total stack cost at your client count, and setup effort, including Coachful's free white-glove build.

1. Coachful: the best Paperbell alternative for health coaches who run programs

Coachful is the pick when your coaching lives in your client's daily routine. It keeps what Paperbell does well (booking pages, packages, payments, contracts) and adds the parts health coaches currently stitch together: multi-week programs, habits, morning and evening check-ins, nutrition and workout tools, a community, and your website with funnels and email.

What a client sees between sessions

Programs run for as many weeks as you design, each with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits and check-ins. A client on a 12-week energy reset might get a morning check-in asking about sleep and mood, a daily task to prep a protein-forward breakfast, a hydration habit with a streak, and an evening reflection. Goals carry progress bars, so a client sees "8 of 12 weeks" and "20 of 30 walks" without asking you. All of it arrives in your branded client home and app.

On the coach side, every client record pulls together goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. That status is the part Paperbell users usually miss: you can see on Monday morning who stopped checking in over the weekend and message them before they drop off. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from that live data. It can brief you before each session, summarize recorded sessions, draft check-in questions or emails, and build a program outline you then edit.

Here is a short walkthrough of how check-ins work:

Nutrition and movement in the same app

The Fitness & Nutrition pack adds nutrition targets up to calories and macros, meal plans, recipes, food lookup and barcode scanning, private progress photos and measurements, and weekly check-ins. For movement, there is a workout builder with an illustrated exercise library (supersets, circuits, AMRAP, EMOM, intervals, tempo), client workout logging with set history and PRs, private form-check video with timestamped comments, and challenges. You attach your own demo videos; Coachful does not supply stock exercise footage.

Groups, courses and the content you already have

When a client enrolls in a group program, Coachful creates the cohort group automatically, with a community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events. Courses support modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking, and sit next to downloads, videos, books and events in the client's home. If you run a quarterly gut health group or a 6-week sleep cohort, the cohort, the content and the weekly call live in one place. There are more than 40 ready-to-film program templates and 48 course templates with quizzes to start from.

The Paperbell basics, kept

Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet and Teams links. Reminders go by email, and by SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) once messaging is enabled. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Coachful takes a 0% platform fee (since August 2026), so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and stay on the client record.

The website builder has 30 designed homepage templates, a blog, a custom domain and SEO settings, and funnels cover booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout pages with pixels and UTM tracking. Email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences sit in the same account, so a "7-day hydration challenge" opt-in can feed a nurture sequence that ends on your discovery call booking page. Current plans: (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Lower plans cap clients, Pro is unlimited, and monthly plans cancel in one click.

Where Coachful stops

Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical records or insurance billing. It does not accept PayPal. It has no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no permanent free plan, though there is a free trial. On Trustpilot it holds 4.5 from 21 reviews.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want, and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, photos and existing copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours: a website, a funnel, a sales page, a program, a course outline, an email sequence, a form or worksheet, and more. Nothing is invented, so there are no fake credentials, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill. One recent example: a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing got a five-page site in sage and cream, with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more about the white-glove build service.

2. Healthie: the clinical-grade option for coaches who need HIPAA

Healthie is the right Paperbell replacement if you answered yes to question 1. It is built for clinicians first, and its pricing page (checked October 27, 2026) lists HIPAA and PCI compliance among its core features, alongside charting, an electronic health record, telehealth video calls and a client portal.

For a health coach, the useful part is that the clinical layer comes with coaching-friendly tools. The pricing page lists journaling, goals and metrics tracking, care plans, a document library, electronic forms and waivers, appointment reminders by email and SMS, and the Healthie mobile app for iOS and Android. It also lists a Fullscript integration for supplements and labs, and self-pay lab packages. If you coach inside a functional medicine clinic, alongside a registered dietitian, or under a physician's supervision, those features keep you in the same record as the clinical team.

Prices, as listed on October 27, 2026 (monthly billing, annual in brackets):

  • Core: $19.99 a month ($18 annual) for 10 active clients, with scheduling, payment processing, charting, telehealth, client portal and mobile app.
  • Essentials: $49.99 a month ($45 annual) for 250 active clients, adding custom form building and basic email branding.
  • Plus: $129.99 a month ($115 annual) for unlimited clients, adding group telehealth, automated online programs (fixed-start and rolling) and group messaging.
  • Group: from $149.99 a month ($135 annual), adding a shared calendar, roles and permissions, and $50 per month for each extra clinician.

Payments carry a 2.9% plus $0.30 transaction fee through Stripe, per the pricing page. There is a 14-day free trial, no credit card required. Some integrations cost extra, such as insurance claim tools starting at $30 a month and ePrescribing at $40 per clinician per month.

The limits for a non-clinical coach are real. Group programs, which most health coaches use, start on the Plus plan, so the realistic price for a program-based coach is $129.99 a month. We did not find a website builder, funnels or sales pages among the features on the pricing page, so you would still keep a site and an email marketing tool alongside it. Charting and insurance tools are overhead you pay for even if you never use them. For a broader look at clinical options, see our SimplePractice alternatives for health coaches.

Pick it over Coachful if you keep clinical records, work under a clinic that requires a BAA, or bill insurance. In that case, the compliance comes first and the marketing tools can sit elsewhere.

3. Kajabi: for health coaches whose business is mostly courses and community

Kajabi suits the health coach whose income comes from a signature course, a paid community and a big email list rather than 1:1 packages. It is a creator platform first, so the comparison with Paperbell is less about sessions and more about audience.

As listed on its pricing page on October 27, 2026, Kajabi has three plans. Basic is $179 a month ($143 a month billed annually) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 website, 1 community and 2 admin users. Growth is $249 a month ($199 annual) with 50 products and 25,000 contacts. Pro is $499 a month ($399 annual) with unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 3 websites and 3 communities. The pricing page states "no revenue sharing", and Kajabi Payments card rates for US entities run from 2.9% plus $0.30 on Basic down to 2.7% plus $0.30 on Pro. AI credits are 0 on Basic and can be bought at $15 a month for 500. Extra contacts come in blocks of 25,000 for $125 a month. Every plan has a 30-day money-back guarantee.

The pricing page's comparison grid lists cohorts, courses, video transcriptions, unlimited marketing emails, affiliate programs, a custom domain, checkout pages and a branded mobile app. For a health coach running a "30-day anti-inflammatory kitchen" course with a community and an evergreen launch funnel, that covers most of the stack.

What it gives up for this niche: we did not find daily habit tracking, morning and evening check-ins, meal plans, macro targets or workout logging among the listed features, and those are the tools that make a health program feel personal. Basic caps you at 5 products, which a coach selling a course, a community, a group program, a 1:1 package and a lead magnet hits quickly. And the entry price is close to double Paperbell's single plan. Our Kajabi alternatives for health coaches covers its trade-offs in detail.

Pick it over Coachful if you mainly sell courses and memberships to thousands of contacts, rarely run 1:1 or small-group coaching, and want a creator-focused marketing stack above everything else.

Which one looks like you?

4. Practice Better: the practitioner's alternative with charting and programs

Practice Better is the closest like-for-like Paperbell alternative for nutrition and wellness practitioners. It is practice management software: scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing, programs and a client portal, built for people who see clients one at a time and keep notes like a practitioner.

Practice Better homepage presenting its practice management platform for wellness practitioners
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Prices as listed in October 2026 (annual in brackets): Sprout is $0 for 3 clients and 100 MB; Starter is $35 a month ($25) for 10 clients; Professional is $69 a month ($59) for 300 clients; Plus is $99 a month ($89) for unlimited clients, 3 admins and unlimited storage; Team is $155 a month ($145) for 2 practitioners, with up to 200 at $50 each. Trials run 14 days on paid plans and 30 days on Team. Payments go through Practice Better Payments, powered by Stripe; the pricing page does not list a platform fee.

For health coaches, the draw is that intake forms, session notes and programs sit in one practitioner-style record, which is why many dietitians and nutrition coaches look at it alongside Paperbell. The catch is the plan ladder: evergreen programs, portal branding, a custom URL and SMS start on Plus at $99 a month. A coach who wants a branded, always-open 12-week program pays about the same as Paperbell and still has no website. An older profile found no website builder or funnel pages, so your sales pages, lead magnets and email sequences live elsewhere. Below Team, an account has one practitioner. It holds 3.8 on Trustpilot from 87 reviews.

Compared with Paperbell, Practice Better is stronger on records and programs and weaker on the storefront. Compared with Coachful, it is more clinical in feel and less complete on community, funnels and nutrition tools like barcode scanning and meal plans with recipes. We compare it directly in Paperbell vs Practice Better and list its own alternatives in Practice Better alternatives for health coaches.

Pick it over Coachful if you think of yourself as a practitioner first, want detailed charting with your coaching, and already have a website and email tool you are happy to keep.

5. CoachAccountable: accountability tracking for a small roster

CoachAccountable is a coaching back office built around accountability: sessions, action plans, metrics, worksheets, courses, invoicing and agreements. Its metrics feature is the reason a health coach might choose it, since a client can log numbers you define, such as hours slept or daily steps, and you can watch the trend.

CoachAccountable homepage presenting its coaching back office for sessions and accountability
CoachAccountable's homepage in October 2026.

Pricing scales by active client, as listed in October 2026: Starter $20 a month for 2 active clients, Level 1 $40 for 5, Level 2 $70 for 10, Level 3 $120 for 20, Level 4 $250 for 50, and Level 5 $400 for 100. The free trial is 30 days, with no credit card and no limits. The pricing page does not state a transaction fee; processor fees apply, and an older profile lists Stripe, Square and PayPal. Public reviewers rate it highly: 4.8 on Trustpilot from 47 reviews.

That per-client model is the problem for most health coaches. A coach with 15 clients pays $120 a month, already above Paperbell's $97, and a 40-person group program costs $250 a month. Paperbell's unlimited-client price looks generous by comparison. An older profile also found no native mobile app, which matters when clients log metrics daily, and no website, landing pages or marketing automation. It also states it is not HIPAA compliant, per that older profile, so it does not solve the clinical question either.

Where it shines is depth of 1:1 accountability: action plans with due dates, worksheets, and a long track record. For a health coach with a handful of premium private clients, that depth can be worth the price. For a coach growing a group program, it becomes the most expensive tool on this list. See CoachAccountable alternatives for more on how it compares.

Pick it over Coachful if you coach fewer than ten private clients, care most about detailed metrics and action plans, and do not need a website, funnels or a client app.

6. Quenza: worksheets and activities without the business side

Quenza is a client-engagement tool for coaches and therapists: activities, worksheets, programs, chat and a client app. It answers question 2 well and leaves questions 3 through 5 mostly to other tools.

Quenza homepage presenting its client activities and worksheet platform
Quenza's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026 (annual in brackets): Spark is $25 a month ($20) for 1 professional and 10 clients; Growth is $50 a month ($40) for 250 clients; Impact is $125 a month ($100) for 400 clients; Collective is $160 a month ($128) for up to 3 professionals and 500 clients. There is a 30-day free trial with no credit card. On Trustpilot it has 4.3 from 8 reviews.

A health coach would use Quenza to build a sequence of food-and-mood journals, sleep diaries and reflection exercises, then send them on a schedule through the client app. That is genuinely useful between sessions. The trade-off is large, though: Quenza does not process client payments today (invoicing and digital products are marked planned), and an older profile found no scheduling or video calls. Moving from Paperbell to Quenza means keeping Paperbell or another tool for booking and payments, which defeats the point of switching for most coaches. Running both costs $147 a month at 15 clients ($97 plus $50).

It is a sensible add-on rather than a replacement. Coaches who like Paperbell's front office and only want richer homework sometimes pair them for a while. If you would rather not maintain two logins for clients, look at tools that combine both, or read our guide to managing coaching clients without Paperbell.

Pick it over Coachful if you only need structured worksheets and activities, you are happy keeping booking and payments in another tool, and your clients respond best to a worksheet-style app.

7. Coaches Console: an established system with a steep price

Coaches Console is one of the longest-running coach business systems: CRM, calendar, website, client portal, email and invoicing, with courses on the higher plan. It covers question 5 (website and email) but sits at the top of the price range.

Coaches Console homepage presenting its coaching business system
Coaches Console's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, the Core Console System is $197 a month ($166.42 a month annually) for a single coach account, with client limits not specified. The Total Console System is $297 a month ($249.75 annually) and adds unlimited products and courses. There is no free trial: billing details are required at signup, with a "100% money back guarantee" in the first 30 days. No transaction fee is stated, and there are no setup fees.

For a health coach leaving Paperbell, the attraction is having a website, CRM and email list in one long-established system. The concerns are price and fit. Core costs about twice Paperbell's single plan and does not include courses. We did not find habit tracking, daily check-ins or nutrition tools in its listed features, so the between-session gap Paperbell leaves stays open. Reviewers describe the interface as dated, according to an older profile, which matters when clients log in every day.

If you are weighing a classic, CRM-heavy setup, also look at our comparison hub for side-by-side pages.

Pick it over Coachful if you value a long track record over newer program tools, you run a business-coaching-style practice with a heavier CRM focus, and the budget is not a constraint.

What does each tool cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

At 15 or 40 clients, unlimited-client plans and all-in-one tools pull ahead, because per-client pricing and extra subscriptions add up. Figures are monthly list prices as listed in October 2026 (Healthie and Kajabi checked October 27, 2026), before payment processing.

As an illustrative example, a health coach at 15 clients who keeps Paperbell and adds a habit app and an email marketing tool is now paying for three subscriptions and asking clients to use two logins. The cheapest line in a table is rarely the cheapest stack, so add up everything you would actually run.

What red flags and switching costs should you watch for?

The biggest switching costs are payments, client habits and your website, not the data itself. Watch for these red flags while you compare.

  • Program features locked to the top plan. Healthie's online programs and Practice Better's evergreen programs both sit on higher plans. Price the plan you would actually use, not the entry plan.
  • Per-client pricing that punishes groups. A 20-person cohort counts as 20 clients on CoachAccountable. Check how a tool counts group members before you launch a group program.
  • Clinical claims you do not need, or need and lack. If you are not a covered entity, paying for charting and insurance tools is overhead. If you are, a non-HIPAA tool is not an option, however good its habit tracker.
  • PayPal dependence. Paperbell accepts PayPal. Coachful does not, and several others are Stripe-first. If many clients pay through PayPal, plan the move to card payments before you switch.
  • Recurring payments. Clients on monthly plans may need to re-subscribe through your new checkout. Confirm with your payment processor what can move and what has to be set up again, and give clients notice.
  • Data export. Paperbell keeps client lists and history in its Clients area; a documented CSV export was not verified in our older profile. Copy notes, contracts and forms before your plan ends.
  • Two apps for clients. Any setup where clients book in one place and check in somewhere else will lose some of them. Count logins as a cost.

Our step-by-step guides on migrating from Paperbell and switching without losing a client cover timing and client communication in detail.

How would a health coach switch from Paperbell to Coachful?

Most health coaches can move in about two weeks by running the new setup in parallel with Paperbell. Here is an example for a coach with 15 private clients and a quarterly group program.

  1. Request the build. Open Create, choose the white-glove option and ask for your website and your signature 12-week program. Attach your current site link, logo and program outline. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.
  2. Connect payments and calendars. Connect your own Stripe account, set up your package offers and payment plans, and sync your Google, Apple or Outlook calendar.
  3. Set up booking and agreements. Recreate your discovery call and session types with buffers and minimum notice, add intake questions on booking, and attach your coaching agreement so it is signed before the first call. Include your scope line: coaching is not medical care, and clients should consult their doctor about symptoms, medication or diagnosis.
  4. Build the between-session layer. Add a morning check-in (sleep, energy, mood), an evening reflection, and two or three habits such as hydration, a daily walk and a screen-off time. Add nutrition targets or meal plans if you coach food.
  5. Move the group. Create the group program; the cohort group appears automatically when clients enroll. Schedule the weekly group call as a video event.
  6. Invite clients in waves. Start with three or four engaged clients, gather feedback for a week, then invite the rest with a short note explaining the app and the first check-in.
  7. Close out Paperbell. Once every active client has booked and paid through the new setup, export what you need from Paperbell and cancel before your next renewal.

Which Paperbell alternative should a health coach choose?

Choose Coachful if your clients' progress depends on what they do between sessions and you want booking, payments, contracts, habits, check-ins, nutrition tools, community and your website in one place. That describes most health coaches running programs.

Choose Healthie if you need HIPAA compliance, charting or insurance billing; that requirement outranks everything else. Choose Kajabi if your business is mainly courses and community for a large audience. Practice Better fits a practitioner who charts and already has a website. CoachAccountable suits a small private roster that lives on metrics, Quenza works as a homework layer next to another tool, and Coaches Console is for an established coach who wants a classic system and has the budget. If none of these feel right and your needs are simple, staying on Paperbell is a reasonable choice too.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Paperbell alternative for health coaches?

For most health coaches who run programs, Coachful is the best fit because it adds habits, check-ins, nutrition and workout tools, community and funnels to the booking, payments and contracts Paperbell already covers. If you need HIPAA compliance or insurance billing, Healthie is the better choice.

Is Paperbell good for health coaches?

Paperbell works well for health coaches who sell session packages and want booking, payments, contracts and a simple website for one price ($97 a month as listed in October 2026). It is less suited to habit-based programs, because an older profile found no goal or habit tracking and no native mobile app.

Do health coaches need HIPAA-compliant software?

It depends on your role. HIPAA applies to covered entities and their business associates, such as health plans and providers who bill electronically, so a coach working inside a clinic may need it while an independent coach often does not. Check the HHS guidance and ask an attorney if you are unsure.

Is Coachful HIPAA compliant?

No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it should not hold clinical records or insurance billing. Keep clinical records in a clinical system and use Coachful for coaching programs, habits and client communication.

Can I track nutrition and habits in Coachful?

Yes. Programs include daily habits with streaks and morning and evening check-ins, and the Fitness & Nutrition pack adds calorie and macro targets, meal plans, recipes, food lookup, barcode scanning, progress photos and measurements. It does not sync with Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

On every plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build a website, funnel, program, course outline, email sequence or other asset inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. You describe what you want and attach up to 8 links and 10 files. It does not include video recording, logo design or ad management.

Is Practice Better better than Paperbell for health coaches?

Practice Better is stronger on charting and programs, while Paperbell is stronger on a simple storefront with a website. Note that Practice Better's evergreen programs, branding and SMS start on its Plus plan at $99 a month, as listed in October 2026.

Can I use PayPal after leaving Paperbell?

It depends on the tool. Coachful uses your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account and does not support PayPal, so plan to move clients to card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. CoachAccountable lists PayPal among its processors in an older profile.

How long does it take to switch from Paperbell?

Most coaches plan on one to two weeks, running both tools in parallel while clients move over. Moving recurring payments and getting clients into a new app takes longer than moving data, so invite clients in waves.

Do I still need a separate website if I leave Paperbell?

Only if the tool you choose lacks one. Coachful includes a website builder, funnels and email; Healthie, Practice Better, CoachAccountable and Quenza do not list a website builder, so you would keep or buy one.
